The lady checked me in was an absolute Karen. No smile no helpful information provided. But rest of employees were champs

The gym access and the pool are excellent Hotel feels a little outdated.

This location is convenient to visit with family..for Friday night lights and graduation festivities. This last visit was for four days so my husband enjoyed using The Club amenities. Nothing to report here

I was put into the room closest to the freeway. Beware of that... freeway is loud all night.

This hotel is OK. However, the rooms themselves are VERY dated. An interior remodel refresh throughout could get them back up to possible 3-star status. I'd say it's at least 10 years overdue for a reface (furnishings and fixtures) project.

The hotel itself is a great option for the area- beautiful pool and very decent restaurant on site. However the employee at the front desk who checked my party in was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. She should not be in the hospitality industry.

I loved the bar downstairs as I was able to continue talking with colleagues. The amenities were great. The parking area were safe, nicely lit and security was available. I loved the extra soft pillows in the room. None.

Excellent staff very friendly and accommodating. Bar fully stocked, full breakfast menu with options for buffet or sit down service. Hotel staff is very professional. I feel important when I stay here. This in itself is a good reason to return.

The staff was friendly the rooms were clean beds super comfortable. There was also a bar and restaurant downstairs and the outside patio pool and jacuzzi were nice. There was a big group of us so the outside sitting area was nice around the fire pit.

1. Not enough help at the front desk. It was common to see long lines, grumpy guests, and only one person to help. 2. I thought the room with a balcony/patio woukd be a nice touch….. didn’t expect someone to use that same area for a doggy park….. not the best view.

The next day, I checked out and asked the front desk if they heard anything from their manager about my reservation. They did not see any notes from their manager. They gave me another email of another manager/ supervisor so that I can email my receipt from Expedia. I did that too. Until now, I still haven’t heard back from both managers/ supervisors. There must be some accountability for answering the emails from customers. Definitely this hotel doesn’t care about any of that!!!

There was a fight at 1:30 am in the morning in across from my room. I asked the hotel to move me. They wouldn’t. This fight went on for well over an hour resulting in several arrests. When I asked the hotel about it in the morning they told me they were not at fault and would do nothing about it. Very rude. Do not recommend this property.

Cons: Some of the outdoor furniture is dirty and there was a foam on the water in the water fountain next to the pool that distracted the beauty of the fountain. I ordered a cheeseburger from room service, ordered it med and arrived well done, dry, no flavor did not feel good after trying to eat it and was not able to finish it. Maybe it was a off night but I would not recommend the food with other options near by.

This hotel has it all ... great location and convenient to all, comfortable rooms, restaurant, access to world-class workout facility.

I asked 3 different times, with 3 different staff at front desk, to be moved. Each time I was initially told they would transfer me and each time no one replied back. The hotel did not appear to be busy, nor full, so my conclusion is the front desk staff is not very efficient.

Clean room, however soap dispensers had no soap in either the bathroom or shower.

The room was clean and the service was good. The mildew smell in the hall on the way to my room, however, was so overpowering it was actually difficult to breath. There was an air filter in the hall running continuously but my God, what a smell!

Courteous, attentive restaurant attendants. Ample parking. No unhoused people who come in with vouchers. Exterior environment look safe.

The service at this hotel was fantastic. The desk staff were very friendly and welcoming and made efforts to make sure our stay was comfortable. I really appreciated the text message correspondence ensuring our needs were met and Melissa at the front desk went above and beyond. The room was clean and fresh each day of our stay and the beds, bedding and towels were of good quality. The bathroom shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap all smelled very nice. The room AC worked well and the room and hallway were very quiet. I think my kids’ favorite part of the hotel was the fresh, warm cookies at the front desk.

Front desk staff are consistently rude. Year after year. Hotel is in DIRE need of updates. Everything is at least 30 plus years old. Good guys need to find a new “car show” HQ!

The rooms and public areas were well decorated and clean. My complaint is with the very confusing billing: Various charges appeared on our credit card during our 3-day stay with no explanation except for the words "Doubletree Hilton." When I asked at guest services desk, there was no explanation for the charges, and was told that when the computers reset overnight, the charges would be deleted. Finally, after our checkout, the charges did come off. But why did they appear in the first place? The unexplained charges were very disturbing and left us with a unpleasant feeling about our stay at Doubletree Hilton Pleasanton. I won't stay at that brand of hotel again.

Parking was easily accessible and complimentary. The beds were not as comfortable as I was hoping. Mattresses were worn and you felt like you sunk into the bed. Overall the property was clean and the staff was friendly. Housekeeping was attentive and hospitable.

Check in guy was blah. Charged me in addition to already being charged by expedia. Then said he didnt even though i showed him the charge kn my statement. We were placed on the 2nd floor. You exit the elevator and are blasted with heat, no ac whatsoever on the floor itself. Get into the room its just as hot. Turn on ac which is completely covered by curtains. Then it kept turning off and our tv wouldnt work. After many attenpts to get through to front desk she said our check in wasnt complete which is why ac and tv werent working. Bartender was nice and food was decent. Jacuzzi dirty, pool looked clean.

While enjoying the hot tub with friends, I brought my phone and placed it on top of a towel nearby. As I turned to chat with someone, I heard a thud. Turning back, I saw a housekeeper had dropped my towel onto the ground and walked away without a word. I noticed the towel was crumpled and my phone was no longer visible. When I lifted the towel, I found my phone face-down on the concrete—with a large crack in the corner. I tried to get the employee’s attention, but he didn’t respond. So I went straight to the front desk to report the incident. Unfortunately, I was treated dismissively and told the manager would contact me as soon as he arrived. I never heard back. The next day, I spoke with the housekeeping manager, who listened but didn’t take any notes or record the issue. Still, nothing was resolved. I followed up again with the front desk, and this time I spoke to the general manager. Once more, I explained the situation in detail. I was assured everything would be taken care of. I followed up with two phone calls and emails to the manager—but still received no response. Firepit propane tanks were empty both nights. The hot water in our room was luke warm and the hotel was so noisy at night. The staff never did anything about it.

Everything was fine , we weren’t expecting to pay for breakfast? Most places we’ve stayed at have a complementary breakfast - so we passed- $20 a person. Not worth it.

Wish the pool was open, however, the pools at the Bay Club was a reasonable alternative.

It’s always great to stay in Doubletree Pleasanton.

I received an email stating the pool was not available. I was ok with that due to the fact I was not planning on swimming. What I did not expect was the pool construction starting at 6:46 AM!

Staff are friendly and super helpful. They provided excellent services while we stayed. The place is very clean and food from the restaurant is tasty. We actually have access to the Bay Club service. We love to go back.

The property was close to the freeway and shopping center. Very clean and the staff was great.

This hotel is very clean and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room had nice amenities including 2 bottles of water and the chocolate chip cookies were such a nice touch!

I think this hotel could use a remodel. 2 out of the 3 elevators were down and in general could use some TLC.

I loved the price, the crisp, ironed sheets, fridge, the comfortable chairs, having a fridge, access to a bar and restaurant (tho restaurant was mediocre but I felt lucky to have it!) kind staff, warm cookie, room with all I needed, easy to use TV, easy and safe parking.

10:30 at nite sent repair man who explained he checked computer and saw our heater needed repair. Repair guy giot us another room , offered to help us move three doors down. Front desk never called or offered to help. Very dis interested. This hotel used to really care. Also now they only supply liquid soap for bathing When asked staff said they ran out of bar soap Liquid soap is poor quality and full of chemicals.

Really beautiful hotel

This hotel was fine. It was near the Bart station so that was great. The pool area was nice. The only thing that gave me pause was the condition of the elevators. They looked like they could use some TLC. It was a good place to stay. The staff was friendly.

We enjoyed our stay.

Definitely a go to hotel for racquetball tournament. We just hope that they will update the hotel most especially the showers. Water heater is not enough heat and the water flow is not consistent.

Always an enjoyable experience when given cookies. The hotel was adjacent tp the freeway so travel was easy. Restaurants/food conveniently close in all directions. Looking forward to the Costco being opened nearby!

The parking was a little rough due to shared parking lot with a gym facility. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Im sad rhis hotel was less superior than the Tracy hoitel. The air conditioner was loyd and kept me up. There was no kitchenette and no continental breKfast. I paid the same amount as I dud in tracy for less accomodations. Next visit i will stay in Tracy!

Our air conditioner wasn’t working - wouldn’t get cold. Glad we were able to open the window to get some fresh air. Also the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain .. even just brushing your teeth would clog the sink. I’ve stayed at many double tree hotels this was by the the worst.

Hot shower with no way of cooling down the water. Leaky sink. One half hour line getting my room key.

As of today, this has not been resolved.

Rooms were just like photos, lots of parking around hotel, and close to lots of restaurants.

The beds were super comfortable and the hotel was in a great location. The rooms are dark and seem to be a little run down. The first room they gave us was being worked on so we got another room and it was ok. It did the job and we had a great time in Pleasanton.

I would highly recommend changing the lightning in the bathrooms and raising the magnifying mirror.

When we checked in we found out the the roll in shower rooms only have a king bed, which we were not informed about by any of the 3 previous employees. A king bed didn't work for us. The only other option was a 2 queen bed room with a tub that did NOT have grip bars to assist her into the tub, so she was not able to shower. This was supposedly an accessible room. We were not offered a free breakfast for the next morning, nor some money off of the room for our serious inconvenience...nothing but a sorry. Training of employees, ADA compliant accessible rooms and better customer service is needed at this DoubleTree.

Good hotel. It has a lot of amenities inside the hotel which makes it convenient. Was very clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous. Restaurant food options were excellent. The location is a bit awkward to get to, but not too bad. It's sitting right by the freeways, so you hear a lot of road noise inside the rooms.

Great staff and location. We were there for the Good Guys West Coast Nationals. The Hotel did a great job accommodating everyone. The food in the restaurant is actually good and reasonably priced. Will stay there again next year.

For the most part my family and I really enjoyed our stay. We only had two issues with the hotel, one was the staff at check in were a bit rude. The second issue was the jacuzzi was not warm and the jets were not working.
