Instead I got a double queen room right next to a very noisy highway. I was unable to sleep all night and was only able to switch rooms the next day. The property mentioned they would take off the price for the first night but So far I haven’t seen a refund. They did offer me a comped breakfast.

The beds were comfortable, easy access to the building and the staff was informative of the rules. The place was nice and good looking, there was no issue with cleanliness. Plus the gym was better than expected from most hotel gyms. The breakfast did not have more options to eat, it was either bread, meat or eggs and the espresso was an additional charge. Lastly, the parking was very limited as the parking lot would fill up causing us to park in the back part of the building which was really dark and long to get into the building.

Nice hotel. Staff is very gracious. EXPENSIVE. Everything is an upgrade. Breakfast is not included and its the same fare you get at a Comfort Inn.

I always like a complimentary breakfast. Not included in this hotel. I always enjoy the Embassy Suites breakfast/buffet. Stayed here because of a wedding venue was nearby.

Place was nice and staff were terrific, but the water pressure is awful, beds not great and the AC is one of those room units that is very loud and makes a big noise.

Perfect stay! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay with family.

Room was cleaned , but coffee was not restocked, no wash cloths left, shower would not drain and when I told the front desk about it, they acted like talking with me was an inconvenience. It just wasn’t up too Marriott standards

This trip was very disappointed. I m in the gold rewards program thought supposed to have a better room when checked in. I had a room facing the highway and was so noisy. I couldn’t sleep. It was just 2 nights so I didn’t bother to go front desk to tell them. Maybe I should have asked when check in: my experience with other hotels were good. Always have a higher floor and good view with my gold rewards. This time is bad. Will not consider to stay with this hotel next time.

The give you bags on lavender for under your pillow and shower steamers. The room also has a white noise machine that makes getting to sleep easy.

The hotel and area were clean and well presented. Our room was very comfortable however the room was advertised as mountain view is deliberately misleading as they overlook the highway which was constantly noisy all night long, the city view rooms also provide a mountain view. Very nice hotel but be careful of your room if you're light sleeper.

The check-in process took quite a while, and I was assigned to a room that adjoined another, despite my specific request to avoid such arrangements. When I inquired at the front desk, the staff member informed me that the supervisor had intentionally placed us in that room.

Great location stayed for two nights. Great pool area. Breakfast was lacking items weren’t restocked, dishes were dirty, and a lot of the food items were left out by previous guests so they were old and hard when we went to breakfast. However the attendant for breakfast was great. She was the young lady that checked me in during the audit shift. Wished I got there names.

Gorgeous hotel. Superb customer service. The pool was larger than expected, and the cabanas were certainly a plus.

Check in was seamless. The staff are great. The hotel is new with very nice rooms and a great pool area. You can walk to the mall and restaurants which are literally right across the street. We will definitely look to stay here during future trips back to the East Bay Area.

Mini fridge is so loud they have an "off" button for it. Freeway outside the window is so loud they have a white noise machine in the room. Towels stored in the shower. Shower doors on backwards. Shower handles are awkward and unlabeled. My TV remove was broken. Desk chair doesnt have wheels on a hardwood floor. Also I was surprised no breakfast was offered when there is a cheaper Marriott down the street that does have breakfast included. You'd think if it cost more, you'd get more.

Very modernized small room and appealing to look at. No microwave was a downside. I got the breakfast package and the Hispanic lady told me i wasn’t in the list so i had to make sure with my receptionist. The breakfast… oh man…. seems like leftovers from the previous days. i can make better. 3.5 out of 5 for my standards.

Overall, the AC Hotel is decent for what you pay. The condition of the hotel is good, and the free parking is definitely a plus. Breakfast is not very varied, but it’s clean and of good quality. However, the floors in the rooms didn’t seem very clean, which was a bit disappointing, especially since they’re not carpeted. Aside from that, it’s a reasonable stay for the price.

This hotel was very good but geares more for local business travel than personal. Very few places to walk to for breakfast. Mall across the street is ok for lunch but it closes at 7pm so dinner could be a challenge. I asked if they had a map of the area and they only had a map of the local business buildings. We stayed on the highway side but it was fine, not too noisy. They do not refresh wash cloths, only larger towels. Shopping and other restaurants not too far away by car.

Everything was great my only complaint would be the pillows they are so flat your head goes to the mattress when you lay down. Other than that great hotel highly recommended. Bring a pillow

My stay at this hotel was average. They only provided comforters on the beds, with no blankets, and when I requested blankets, they informed me they had run out of them. The heater was extremely noisy, and the breakfast options were just basic. Customer service was satisfactory, but even though the hotel is modern and attractive, I wouldn’t stay there again.

The only issued it’s to loud. I felt that I was sleeping in the freeway could hear the cars very loud.

Very nice hotel but make sure your room does not face the freeway, sooo loud! They must have had many complaints because they provide a white noise machine for the room. They had the option for a different “view”’when booking but I was there to sleep so that didn’t concern me. The view I chose was the City View and I advise against it!

Just a one night staycation with my autistic son. It was very comfortable and nice. Will come back again when I need to just get away but stay close To home!!

A great stay at AC Marriot. I was given a room by the highway side and as a light sleeper was VERY happy when MaryJane was able to move me into a new room for the remainder of my stay. The service was fantasic at this hotel for every stay and always greeted with a smile going in and out of the hotel. Very comfortable rooms, very clean. I love that you can turn the whole airco system off and also the new addition of the white noise machines!

I don't know how this hotel has such great reviews. Yes, it is close to BART and shopping but it's also right next to the freeway which is the only thing I heard all night besides the super heavy doors opening and slamming shut. Walls are thin. Floor was dirty. Small mini fridge, no microwave. I wouldn't stay here again.

Recently updated, short walk to the BART. Free parking. Staff was super friendly! Close food/shopping. Will definitely stay here again instead of the Bay area, just BART in!

I didn't get to take any pictures but I will say staff was very rude , it smelled really bad and I didn't have a good experience. Also the pool has a a lot of bugs. I saw ticks and bees , dead flies and cockroaches.

It was my birthday and I just wanted to do something solo and just get peace for my birthday and this hotel was perfect for me.

We like the Hotel but have seen it go slowing down hill. Mainly it's obvious the reduction in staff. The outside isn't as clean as before. The room had "stuff" on the walls and ceiling. The room fixtures are missing or need addressing. Wish I did not have to honest about this review. The front desk is very friendly, so is the room staff.

I asked for a room with no bathtub. But of course, they gave me a room with a bathtub. I had to lug all of my heavy luggage back down to the front desk to get another room. Santo was kind enough to help me!! He is smart, pleasant and efficient!! Earl was also great!!

Booked last minute to attend a cousin’s celebration of life service. The AC hotel room was very nice and comfortable. Although our stay was overnight, we thought the hotel was atheistically beautiful. Contemporary architectural design throughout this hotel from the lobby entry and lounge to the functional spaces in the room. We will definitely consider this hotel for future visits!

The hotel is well kept and convienently located near an array of shopping, dinning and the freeway. Our room was very clean and spacious with multiple built-in charging ports, reading lamps, which all together made our stay quite comfortable.

The management staff was not very accommodating, almost annoyed with any requests we made.

My Room was on the freeway side and could not sleep because of the noise.

Our first attempt at check in was unsuccessful due to unavailable rooms. The desk clerk said they would call when the room was ready. We never received a call. We returned to the hotel an hour later and checked in with a fantastic desk attendant. It would have been.nice have been contacted when out room was ready but it all worked out. Outside of that issue, the stay was great.

Room are connected by a door with deadbolt. We could hear our neighbors’ every word. We could hear them put a water bottle on the table.
