La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin - Pleasanton

Easy parking under awning (solar PV on top). Bathroom floor extremely slippery when wet -- very bad idea for any room, but particularly for handicapped. Good shower. Lights in bathroom are people-sensing, so we could not leave them on at night to see our way into the bathroom. First morning only one regular and one decaf coffee in room. The coffee pods (Keurig imitation) were too small for the machine, so I had to puncture them in advance and then clean strainer. Breakfast OK -- typical hot breakfast in hotel without a kitchen -- eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, etc. Clerk on check in was rude and uninterested. We were staying for two nights on two different reservations and he refused to look at the second reservation or confirm that we would have the same room the second night (we did, no problem). Women behind the desk Saturday and Sunday were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is frequented by "weekly " or daily type undesirable and very questionable people. Smell of weed. Plaster, cracked and broken in room. Had NO hot water for 2 days. Very low water pressure. This place is run very poorly. Do yourself a favor and if you value your family DO NOT book here. Oh and to top it off 3-4 customers work vans were broken into and all content stolen on the last day we were there so there was broken windows vehicles in the parking lot that have been broken into just not a good place not a good hotel not well run and staff does not care. Very rude.

Straight up prostitution operation in room next to mine with screaming johns, sex workers and pimps. Messaged and or told hotel staff twice.... no resolution... I should have called police... i got 0 sleep. Internet in my room was not connecting which meant internet tv also didn't work. Room was relatively clean. Breakfast was decent.

A fire alarm went off at 5:30 am. We didn't need to evacuate, but it was long enough and loud enough that I was out of bed and couldn't fall back asleep. Then we had no hot water. Then we had no water at all ... And zero communication from the hotel. Apparently a pipe burst, causing the alarm and lack of water, but I only found out because I called the front desk to find out what was going on. Plus someone entered our room while we were gone and had the Do Not Disturb sign up. Positives: Breakfast was good, free parking.

Really lovely room, very comfortable and the property was amazing.

The beds are extremely hard and the A/C unit sounds like a tractor. Other than that, clean and no isssues.

Everything was just fine except the television. It kept buffering every minute or so to the extent that it was unwatchable. If our stay was any longer than one night, it would have been a serious enough problem for us to move rooms or leave the hotel completely. We informed the staff of the problem last night and were told that it would be checked out. The problem still existed this morning.

Our room was in a hallway where they had apparently had an overhead leak and were in the process of repairing it. Loud fans were blowing in the hallway. Inside the room, you couldn’t hear it too much. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The Internet was a little slow so the TV had difficulty at times. We didn’t utilize the self serve full breakfast this trip but in the past, it was good. We have stayed herre multiple times and will continue to stay on our trips to Dublin.

Convenient location, but the staff were not great. There was a long wait as no one was available when I entered to check-in. Someone who worked maintenance walked right past me and didn’t even ask if I needed help. Upon checkout, I couldn’t even get a physical copy of my receipt as there was a leak from the ceiling in the lobby, the staff were frantically on the phone and didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing there. I ended up just leaving. The room was clean, but had a weird smell. I would not stay here again.

We had issues with the toilet plumbing and we could not use the room for 2-3hrs. The cleaners can do a better job in bathroom. Also, the hotel carpet needs changing and bit dirty all around. May be vacuuming....

We spent two nights at the hotel, there was no hot water on the first night. They had a repairman came in from out of the area, it was fixed on the second day and then it broke again. The TV reception was streaming data but the data rate was too slow and it keeps losing the pictures. The elevator was creeking when it moves. The breakfast was the same standard fare everyday. They forgot too make up the room on the second day.

the room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Loved the free breakfast, big variety to choose from. There was no meat ((except plant based) like sausage or bacon but honestly we didn’t miss it. only negative was the shower had no pressure, water came out like a fine mist, also to get hot water you had to turn the hot as far as it would go in order to get water warm enough to shower. But we would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Dublin

Staff was great and cared about guest experience. Breakfast selection was very poor for anyone who cannot have food containing gluten. The purported scrambled eggs seemed to be an unknown substitute. Upon arrival I was surprised with an upgraded king room (jacuzzi.) The room size was large and the bedding was like sleeping in a cloud. This was my 2nd stay at this particular hotel. It is noticeably quieter than most hotels, and their breakfast has so many options! I have another trip in a month and plan on staying here again!

Parking was safe in front and back. Hallway can get very noisy which was annoying. Wifi wasnt working with the tv when wanting to stream due to a confirmed malfunction message from the fromt desk. Staff was friendly at check in.

This is the second time we've stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Pleasanton and it was just as good as the first time. And this time we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite. I only wish we had been staying longer.

The person who helped us check in was fantastic. The continental breakfast was good. Room was clean. Only thing was there was no warm/hot water so we had to shower in cold water.

After finding water in the entryway of my room in the first morning, staff upgraded and changed my room immediately and the rest of the stay was perfect. Breakfast was good, parking was easy and rooms were clean.

The check-in people were wonderful to check out people were wonderful the breakfast in the mornings were good and enough that even not eating gluten dairy or grains I was able to find things to eat , the accommodations were good.

Beautiful entryway. The room I had was large, well laid out, and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious & felt clean & updated. The included free breakfast was fabulous! Warm cinnamon rolls! Scrambled & hard boiled eggs. Veggie sausage, and plenty more. Though there is no restaurant on site, they offered room service...maybe from a ghost kitchen nearby??? Room was well insulated to sound. My stay was very comfortable and quiet.

The pool was not the cleanest, and the jacuzzi was very very Dirty. The worst part was the bed sheets, they had blood stains. To top it off I walked with socks on and the carpet was filthy. Its fair to say this was our first and last time in this hotel.

Our room had a bright light shining into it and the black out curtains had holes. The next door plumbing was super loud. The staff was nice and the parking was great. But our linens were stained. We were there three days and one day our do not disturb sign was ignored while we were gone and the room was cleaned. I was a little disappointed because I love La quintas and this one was not as cool as I’m used to. Oh and the internet was awful. Totally useless. I had to have my biz zoom meeting at a friends office.

Great service from the staff. My family and I thought it was going to be your normal continental breakfast with just cereal and oatmeal. But it turns out the amount of items served for breakfast from the waffle maker to scrambled eggs to variety of beverages. It was a great breakfast. Also appreciated the heated pool since the weather was pretty chilly.

WiFi is only free for Wyndham rewards members. I don't consider that free and it should be mentioned in the hotel amenities description. Our first night in the hotel we were given a mobility room, not the room we had reserved. From the second night onwards we were given a room that was what we expected.

Check in at front desk was wonderful. Room is clean. Bathroom was clean. Toilet was running water constantly the morning we left. Breakfast lacked meat, otherwise fine.

Everything was almost perfect, but The jets stopped working for like 20 minutes maybe someone should check the button to the jacuzzi in room 129. It’s a very nice place to stay to be visiting out in Livermore, Dublin, or Pleasanton California. Everything was fabulous. I recommend cleaning the steps on the stairs because it’s one of the highlights of this place.

Checking in was easy but the first room we got the beds were messed up and looked used, the keys kept dissactivating and the new room they gave us the bathroom smelled awful, the staff were okay they had a careless attitude but weren’t really mean. Breakfast was good though it was nice and the rooms look like the pictures but overall 2/5, you can tell they aren’t very hygienic with cleaning things there

We told them that we wanted a late check out when we checked in and they said let the front desk know first thing in the morning. I let them know at 7:30 am and they said the latest check out was at 1 pm. We said 1 pm was fine. We had multiple maids knock on the door through out the morning which was annoying but not the main point of the review. Before the maids even came knocking, we had a maintenance technician knock on the door and abruptly open the door prior to me getting to the door and I was still in my underwear and my wife was naked. He gave us no chance to get to the door before attempting to walk in unannounced. I had no clue who he was and I was ready to fight because of how he barged in and I had no clue who he even was until I asked him multiple times who he was and what he wanted. I understand his sense of urgency but if my dog was behind the door and he got bitten, I would be in trouble and my dog would be put down. If he attempted to barge in on my wife while she was alone, we would be having a completely different conversation. I immediately called the front desk and let them know and after looking into it, they apologized and said that he shouldn’t of even came to the door prior to the maids. If that’s the case, why is he attempting to enter an occupied room unannounced, out of protocol and why was he so hesitant to tell me who he was and why didn’t he tell me why he was trying to enter the room

You could hear a lot from the hallway, but for the most part it was a decent stay. There was a good variety of food at breakfast. Liked that there were hot and cold items. The make your own waffle was somewhat unsanitary. Convenient location with easy freeway access.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful to answer all my questions. The hotel room and the hotel itself was very clean. No stains and no foul odors anywhere. The breakfast was excellent. The comfortable of the mattress was great with a slight firm feel. The water pressure of the bathroom sink and shower was great. So was the water temperatures of both places. Free parking is included and there's two fast EV chargers located at the front of the hotel.

We went up to the breakfast lounge area around 6:30 at night to talk business. And the lobby and the hallways stunk so bad like somebody was cooking some nasty onion food. We complained about the odor…. I guess you can cook while at offiice-Counter desk to my surprise if you wanted to, but to make the whole Hotel lobby stink is disrespectful.

Some of the carpet was old and needed repair/replacing in the elevators and stairs. It could use a patch and paint job in common areas as well. Staff was very polite and changed my room as the one I was in smelled like cigarettes.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This hotel was always clean, plus the entire staff was friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again the next time we are in the area.

Room was clean. The bathroom light kept turning on and interrupted sleep. Wish the TV allowed us to stream Netflix. Breakfast was much better than expected.

They gave me the worst room ever. It was isolated room beside the floor bathrooms and utility room. The AC worked but lots of noises that kept me up all night but I was too not feeling good enough to ask them to change the room as I had fever. But they shouldnt even let this room to any guests! Highly not recommended!!!

The fresh guacamole was amazing. The beds were super comfy and didn't bother anyone else on bed when moving or getting up.

It is our second time staying in this location and we absolutely love it! The room and amenities especially the Continental breakfast were great. The staff were courteous especially the housekeepers were very accommodating. Definitely will be back and able to recommend it to our family members and friends.

This hotel had a horrible smell as soon as you walked in the door. We shared the elevator with a door dasher and asked about the smell. Smelled like spoiled garbage. Milk at breakfast tasted spoiled also. The staff at the front desk was very helpful.

The staff? Friendly and courteous—no complaints there. But the stay? Let’s just say it had character. 🛠️ Woke up at midnight to maintenance banging on pipes to fix a water leak. No warning, just surprise percussion. The front desk was responsive, but a heads-up would’ve been nice. 🚿 Hot water in the shower? More like a polar plunge. Reported it Saturday morning (11/8/25), but by evening—still no heat. Cold showers don’t scream “clean,” no matter how many suds you stack. 🔑 After a long day out, both room keys stopped working. Waited 15 minutes at the front desk just to get back in. Not the welcome we hoped for. 📏 Room 238 felt like a walk-in closet. Was it the Expedia effect? Despite all this, the staff stayed kind and helpful. They were the bright spot in an otherwise chilly experience.

I would like a refund on this room. I chose it because it had a very high review and it showed a clean safe place. When I arrived, I went to my room and not only was the elevator incredibly gross and smelly, but it was a very dangerous part of town And I was even nervous going in and out of my room. I decided to leave and I don't think I should be charged for this room.

The lady at the front desk was not very welcoming and did not honor what another staff member had told us earlier that morning—that we could check in early without any additional fees. Additionally, the male staff member who assisted us around 4:00 PM rolled his eyes at my friend simply because he spoke fast and was misunderstood. The hotel itself is very nice, but the staff could greatly improve their customer service and professionalism to match the quality of the property.

We stayed for 2 nights, and on the morning after the first night, we passed by the front desk on our way out to let the lady know that there was no conditioner left in the dispenser in the shower, and she said she would tell the housekeeper. When we returned that night to shower, lo and behold, the conditioner was still empty! Another more pressing issue involves the breakfast setup. The coffee dispenser was set up in such a way that requires you to use your cup (instead of your finger) to push on the dispenser lever. I saw guests get refills with their used cups (with saliva and lipsticks on the cup rim) press against the dispenser lever thus transferring saliva and germs to the lever and to subsequent guests who would then use their cups to push against the same dispenser lever. The coffee dispenser should be set up to allow a finger operated lever so that the guest's cup does not have to touch any parts of the dispenser. Another issue was the forks. They were put into the fork container sticking up instead of down. As a result each hotel guest that gets his fork ends up touching multiple forks. The forks should be put into the fork container downwards (with the handle sticking up) so that the guests would not accidentally touch the fork end of the other forks. Not all guests shower before then come out for breakfast and thus some may have unclean fingers. Besides that everything was great at the hotel!

Very nicely redone large room and bathroom at excellent rate. Unusually large number of choices at their ovo-lacto vegetarian breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the choices for all 4 mornings were boringly identical. They need to rotate some choices. But it was both very good and refilled frequently, with enough seating and tables to meet the need, which is not often the case with smaller breakfast areas. Even the juices were a surprise with not just apple and orange, but also pineapple and even guava! Bravo for that delight. The scrambled eggs were fresh, light and fluffy. The vegetarian sausage patty was crisp, flavorful and hot. All in all this was a step up stay at an low to mid-range price, and conveniently located with good well-lit parking.Also right next to an IHOP.

Our room was next to cleaning facilities so we heard cleaning staff laughing and talking right outside our door early in the morning, a long with the sounds of the carts and equipment. Their noise disturbed a dog in a neighboring room so it was barking nonstop, as well. We were required to pay an additional $50 deposit upon arrival, which the hotel kept without reason.

Of note, it smelled kind of musty and could’ve used a general air freshener. The caulking in the bathroom area was stained and should be replaced. Everything was clean and well appointed the full breakfast was very good. We would recommend this and we’ll probably return on another trip.

I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back next time I’m in town. The General manager, Ron deserves some big kudos for coming from his home to swap out my fridge. I discovered was not working after I returned from work. He even compensated me for the food that went bad in my fridge. My favorite thing about this hotel is there are little to no shenanigans going on in the hallways at night and take it from me, I stayed here for 14 nights.

The hotel refunded one night of my five-night stay and gave me a $25 Starbucks card, which does not begin to compensate for the discomfort, distress, and risk of bringing bed bugs home. I left with painful, itchy bites and a lasting sense of anxiety. The situation was poorly handled, and the staff seemed more interested in deflecting blame than taking responsibility. I’ve stayed at LaQuinta in the past and had good experiences, but after this, I will not be returning.

The toilet after flushing would continue to run. I paid for a late checkout (1pm) and I had housekeeping pound on my door on 2 separate occasions. The first time I told them I had a late checkout then 30 mins later while I was showering and couldn't open the door they were pounding on it again and tried to come in even after I had already told the first person I hate a late checkout.

The room was smelly, the smell become unbearable to a point where we left the hotel forgoing our prepaid room. We had prepaid for two nights. The staff changed our room after we complained but the other room was marginally better. We could not tolerate the stench after the first night of stay. I have stayed here before a few years ago. It used to be a great value for money, but now the condition of the hotel has drastically deteriorated. I am not coming back here again!

The hotel is pretty decent and clean. The front desk staff were nice and polite. The only downside is they offer breakfast from 6 am to 9 am. It should be atleast until 10 am, because if you are on vacation I don't think anyone wakes up this early! Otherwise, the overall experience was great
