Everything was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little dank smelling and the windows don’t open. But to be expected on the coast. All in all it was last minute and it worked for us. Hot tub and pool was nice. Good location but no views or anything. Bed was surprisingly comfy, nice pillows!

Staff was okay, they were always hiding behind monitor didn't know they were there and on phone. Checkout time the guy just asked for room number and that was all, didn't even ask for keys to room . Bathroom tub had alot of rust stains that looked unpleasant to look at and tub was sunken in easy for kids to slip and fall

The restroom could benefit from renovation, as there were multiple areas with mold on the bathtub and visible cracks. The lighting was somewhat dim, and the toilet was not flushing properly, which we had to address ourselves. Additionally, the breakfast options could be improved. On a positive note, the staff were courteous and friendly.

My husband and I love the big breakfast selection. Not having to worry about breakfast we can already get started with our day.we also love that there is a very large swimming pool area with a jacuzzi if we want to relax at night.

The breakfast was delicious. I’ve had free breakfast at many hotels and they are usually just ok. This one was shockingly great! Room was comfortable and appreciated the microwave and fridge. Overall loved the stay Nothing. It’s more expensive than a bunch of other options in the area but most are motels and the holiday inn is much much nicer. Wish the price was a little lower but honestly it was way better stay than I expected

Hotel and area was very busy due to Texas Sand Festival. So pricing was a little more than expected. Due to soo many people in the area. The Pool bathroom was a little unkept and could have used a bit more of extra attention. Room was clean but had that mildewy smell about it. Kept it pretty freezing so the smell wouldn't over take. Carpets in the room could use a little steam cleaning. Breakfast has been great, but then we went like right at 6 a.m., So everything was fresh and hot. Hot tub was nice could have done without the kids in it, but it wasn't like super negative. Pool was nice and you can get a few laps in.

Will never use Expedia ever again!

Room was cleaned but did smell like outside or humid. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. Hot tub came in clutch, pool was not headed. Overall not a bad stay at all. Room was big that’s a huge plus for my family.

The air conditioner in our room was not working properly. Brought this to staff attention but maintenance did not fix it. Was called twice and no result. Air conditioner

Check in staff were not very friendly and didn’t explain anything about the hotel like others felt like I was bothering them for checking in. They don't clean your room daily, we had to throw away the trash in a bigger trash outside the room. Pool was supper cold and hot tub was supper warm. Breakfast was okay. Checking out staff was nicer. Rooms furniture had like water damage.

This property was great. Loved that it was a short 5 minute walk to the Beach. Very convenient.

The breakfast was amazing, they have a coffee machine out all day. And the pool area is very nice, has plenty of seating.

The room was clean, the parking was good, and it is close to the beach and walking distance to everything. Pool was clean and breakfast was better than expected.

Room smelled musty/moldy. The room was also not very clean and very shabby and ugly. The TV stand was in very poor condition, peeling wood grain on everything. Horrible experience

No pen and paper in room. No TV guide in room and guide on TV didn't work. Window drapes had food stain. Thermostat didn't wok....It showed 75f for two days and couldn't be changed.

The breakfast was wonderful. We thought it was just going to be a cold breakfast but they had a full hot meal. I especially liked the egg white omelette. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Also enjoyed to hot tub. It was a little too cold to use the pool when we were there. Nothing.

A/C worked terribly. When we checked in, the front desk clerk looked as if she didn’t want to be there. There’s is NO smart TV’s in the rooms, so forget about streaming. The TV’s were smaller than other hotels.

The room was too hot

I am having billing problems too, another charge for $560 pending and a $650 fee. I had two rooms and was not aware of pet charges were going to be charged. It would have been courtesy to at least inform me of these charges and purpose. Two rooms $170 one night turned into a nightmare.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming, contributing to a truly great stay. We enjoyed the fantastic breakfast, which featured a wide variety of options. A relaxing soak in the wonderful hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Our overall experience was excellent, and we highly recommend this hotel.

There were roaches in our room which was the most terrible thing we encountered. We refused to change room and was offered a discount but the folio receipt showed full charge and we were ready to get the hell out. After the infestation incident, we didn't eat the breakfast the next day for fear that maybe the kitchen had pests as well. Nice staff but maybe oblivious to knowing there are roaches.

We had a double queen bed on the 1st floor with a view of the pool. Room#102 was close to the side door and parking. The room was clean modern everything worked fine fridge, air conditioner, tv etc. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was good, except the link sausage a lityle over cooked. The staff was very polite and helpful. Will stay here again. I always stay at Best Western on the same street. But it is getting very run down. I think they have new owners and dont look like they are doing any repairs or up dates.

Staff were OK and breakfast was decent. Hotel room was dirty and had an unpleasant smell for the whole duration of our stay. Other guests were unruly in communal areas and slamming doors at all hours of the night

Room 119 was horrible location right across from the laundry room, the room had a bad odor smell like a combination of vomit and sewer smell. I went to make adjustments to the A/C and the vents had an orange substance that seamed to look like vomit. The smell was horrible, the furniture needs to be replaced, coffee table is badly water damaged along with the entertainment cabinet where the refrigerator sits, and the shelf/ cabinets below the television. The house keeping crew was very nice in providing towels and necessities. One of my daughters works as a housekeeper for a hotel organization so I know a lot of the staff is always very friendly and helpful. For the price I paid for the three nights at this hotel is not acceptable in my past experience with the same line of hotels.

Staying here was amazing! The room is large and clean. Beds are great and comfortable. The free breakfast and food are delicious! Location is a few minutes walk to the beach - we love it!

Love the area. Everything is pretty much walking distance to the beach and dine in restaurants. Highly recommend if your not trying to drive around in traffic.

I like all of it

Clean, sleep is comfotable with their bed, pillows, bedding ensembles. Daily clean up and replenishment of towels. Free breakfast. Nothing to say bad about the property. It's just the other guests staying who is making loud noises when it's already nighttime.

Room was very large. No noise issues very quiet. Very clean. Beds were great, pillows great. Pool needs attention, needs renovation and was cloudy with algea. Disappointed in that.

The staff was great! The breakfast was also a hit.An additional hour of service would make it perfect. Regarding our room, there were areas that had not been cleaned in a while. The pool has furniture that is broken or in bad shape that needs to be removed.

When me and my little family of 3 got out the shower there was alot of water leaking coming from the closet that was near the bathroom. I called and reported it to front desk and the lady that was working said she couldnt help me at all and even after i told her i have a crawling baby she still didnt help me at all and said she had to hang up because she had people up front.The people next room said they had the same issue.

Sounded like it needed a repair I couldn’t sleep. Also didn’t like that no parking at hotel too many golf carts taking up parking spaces I have stayed 2 times at this hotel and wll be back in July hopefully

Booked this particular hotel because we have a two month old daughter and it stated it had a crib available in room. I arrived and after not finding a crib I called the front desk and inquired about getting one. They said they only had one in property and it was I use. Also the two queen sized beds in the "suite" I booked were more like full sized and very uncomfortable. Would not recommend

The hotel was very close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and stores, staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean.

I stayed there may 3rd the electricity was out for hours, the room got so hot we couldn't sleep, fire alarms kept going off, when the electricity did come back on it took until about 4am for the room to be cool enough to sleep again. It was not the best experience for the price I paid.

This is my 2nd time staying at the hotel. Clean, no smoking, no pets, plan on staying again.

Positives-Clean, comfortable bed and quiet for location. Negative-took forever to take shower due to minimal water pressure and breakfast left a lot to be desired. Sausage burnt to point couldn’t eat it and other food had no taste.

Overall experience is good. Excellent services, friendly staff, price is reasonable and cleanliness. Unfortunately, i discovered I got bed bug bites on my arm and leg when I got home.

They allowed people to party and play in the pool all night with music leaving the rooms over the pool to hear noise all night. The pool was messy with tiles falling apart and the water was a deep blue with very little chlorine. The beds were the hardest things I have ever slept on. We left a night early because it was 10 pm and people and kids were still making noise and partying the pool and I could take another night of the hard beds.

Located within blocks of the beach. Across the street from a restaurant/bar but very quiet area. Convenient access to all the islands amenities.
