Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is convenient for many, although the surrounding area is often described as sketchy or unsafe. Breakfast is a highlight for many guests, but there are some complaints about cleanliness and maintenance issues in the rooms.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location
- Surrounding area feels unsafe
- Cleanliness and maintenance issues in rooms
- 4/5
The breakfast was good and very convenient. The room smelled like an old smoking room with added scent trying to cover it up. I kept the window open and that helped. Bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
Room clean, lady at front desk helpful.
- 5/5
Good staff, good location, decent room
- 4/5
There’s a restaurant next to the hotel called Elmer’s and we walked over there a few times. The food was good and the customer service was excellent one night. We had a pizza delivered and they had plates and forks and knives downstairs we could use. I would stay here again although the traffic noise was kinda loud through the windows and there seems to be a few homeless people around, but they didn’t bother us
- 5/5
Breakfast had a lot of choices and the food was good. It’s right next door to an Elmer’s restaurant for meals other than breakfast. The pool looked great but the weather did not cooperate.
- 4/5
ice maker is not working. wifi did not work for my macbook, though it worked for my cellphone.
- 3/5
Our stay was very much pleasant everything clean, however maintenance was very poor we never had our room maintenance or supplied we had to be going down stairs for towels and trash bags we asked to have it maintenance but no one came by.

- 3/5
The stay was okay, breakfast was not good.
- 3/5
In all my years of hotel stays, I've never encountered a charge to access a room that was already available just one hour early. Out of principle, I chose to wait until the official check-in time. Aside from that experience, the stay itself was fine.
- 3.5/5
The location was great and the day staff were so accommodating The night staff lady was very rude
- 4/5
Nice that it was so close to the airport. Wish it had an indoor pool and hot tub but the outdoor ones were nice.
- 4/5
The area has a high number of homeless or other residents so to enter the building, you had to press a button and have you verify you are checking in. It is not a welcoming issue for guests but understandable.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 5/5
Close to the airport and calling for the shuttle for pickup and return to airport early next morning was seamless. The pool area looked great but we were on a 12 hour layover overnight and unfortunately couldn't use it. Our room overlooked the pool area and had a patio. There was a restaurant right next door to this hotel and that was very convenient for us weary travelers. I would book this again.
- 4/5
Ideal for Portland airport, good breakfast. Area a bit sketchy but front door is key card operated so no issues inside.
- 0.5/5
Staff offered me free cancellation due to lack of water and contacted another BW property in order to clarify availability and room rates. Instead of having dinner, I was forced to look for alternative and affordable accomodation at short notice. Actually BW should provide this service and pay for surcharges in this case.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
The hotel is unique and has a lot of character - it's not too cookie cutter. I came in after midnight, but the desk clerk gave me the full check-in orientation and got me situated quickly after a tiring day. The room was neat and functional.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
The room and hotel were comfortable and well appointed for a low cost stay before or after a flight. The breakfast was great - a true full breakfast - toast, bagels, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and fresh cooked waffles (along with some cod cereal). Breakfast far exceeded the typical “breakfast included” of most places like this. Highly recommend this as a stop before or after flights or for a short stay in Portland area. It was only 6 minutes from rental car pickup to this hotel.
- 2/5
It was meh. There was musty smell with old
- 3/5
The freezer is broken. I contacted customer service, but the problem was not resolved.

Airport shuttle, buffet breakfast Drain in bathroom sink was very slow

I hated my stay here. Thank God it was just one night. It looked like it was in a time warp from the 1980’s with ugly brown furniture that had the veneers scuffed, really bad coffee for the room, cheap shampoo and soap, thin towels. My room faced the highway so it was really noisy. Soundproofing or a white noise machine would have been nice. The worst part was when I left my room to get dinner at the overpriced and bad food in the restaurant next door. When I came back to the room and used my key card the door wouldn’t open and I was locked out with all my things inside. I went to the front desk and 2 clerks couldn’t open it either. It turned out the security latch somehow got flipped closed when I left. I was very upset as I had a very long day traveling and had an early flight the next morning. It ended up with them calling the manager. He took 20 minutes to get there( not his fault because he didn’t live that close to the hotel). He had to break the door frame to get in and he put me in another room The whole thing took about an hour and a half. I felt that they should have given me the room for free. Also I didn’t like that all you could watch on the tv were cable stations. No streaming services at all. The free shuttle to the airport was good but the driver prattled on about her life and how she was so poor. TMI if you know what I mean. Stay somewhere else.

It was clean and close to my job Nothing everything was good

It was clean and close to my job Nothing everything was good
- 4/5
Really good stay for the family. Rooms open up to the swimming pool directly and pool is cleaned daily. This one felt like a proper hotel not like other motels using the name of best Western brand.
- 3/5
Had an average experience
- 3.5/5
I enjoyed using the facilities: sauna, pool & hot tub. The bed was pretty comfy (my husband doesn't agree). The location is good if you're trying to be near the airport, but we had to take an Uber to get around downtown Portland. I wish the pool/hot tub was open longer 9:00-10:00 PM didn't allow for us to use the facilities more than once.

I can't recall anything I didn't like!
- 5/5
The hotel had a large entry and foyer, where you could see through to the pool in the central courtyard. There were chairs and table to set out near the pool. The property was clean and well maintained. Our room was large and comfortable. The free breakfast was fully stocked and "complete" by hotel standards. I can't recall anything I didn't like!
- 5/5
Breakfast was yummy, and the rooms were very nice. A quite pleasant place to stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 2/5
The breakfast was great, thank you. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room I booked. There was sand-like debris on the floor near the AC/heater unit, and I found hair on the bathroom wall and in the bathtub. The room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before our arrival. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last stay at this hotel. I hope this feedback can help improve your housekeeping standards.
- 4.5/5
The sink in the bathroom drained VERY slowly
- 4/5
The best part of this location is the proximity to the light rail. The breakfast was not very vegan friendly (waffles, sausage, potatoes, eggs, oatmeal, coffee). The shuttle was not available when I arrived at the airport at midnight, the front desk said I would need to take an uber or lyft. I guess the shuttle driver had left at 11. The interior of the property is showing some age. But the front desk folks were always kind and the listed amenities were all there.
- 5/5
Clean room, choices for breakfast, friendly staff
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Lots of traffic noise!
- 4/5
Good place to stay over all.
- 4/5
Breakfast not available yet when we left for our flight. Most places have a sack to go for early flights with a pastry and fruit, but not here.
- 4/5
Short stay! Staff was friendly and helpful! We did have to change rooms cause the sheets were not clean :/
- 4/5
Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Clean hotel with great breakfast & coffee. Comfy bed, pleasant staff & conveniently located. The only complaint was several work trucks parked outside of our window that started up & beeped at 4:30 am….. not the really the hotel’s fault, though.

After a long day of travel, I arrived late at night and immediately ran into issues. The first room had an overwhelming, unbearable odor and had to be changed. When I got to my own room around 11 PM, I found it in a clearly unsanitary condition, including visible blood that indicated it had not been properly cleaned. At that hour, I had no option to relocate as I was traveling with two elderly men and their dogs, so relocating at 11:00pm was not an option and I had to stay. I ended up using my own pillow and blanket because I did not feel comfortable using anything in the room. This was not just an inconvenience, it was a serious cleanliness and safety issue. I would strongly caution others before staying here. This property failed to meet even basic standards of cleanliness and guest care.
- 5/5
It is a beautiful clean,Safe place very Cozy
- 3/5
We didn’t have the chance to swim this time . Staff is amazing.
- 5/5
It was nice. The new owner, deaf and Lee was very accommodated, very pleasant. So many nice words.I wanna thank you for making my stay very pleasurable.I come here very often, and I'm happy to keep turning. And it's thanks to you guys
- 4/5
Breakfast bar had eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffle makers along with the other cold food and fruit items. Staff was friendly. Far enough from airport that jet noise is hardly noticable. Room on the side (with view of Mt. Hood) had no street noise. Room fridge was even quite, but had no freezer section.
- 5/5
Great stay! Everything was clean, spacious and quiet. I was happy that the front entrance was secure and monitored.
- 4/5
Too many homeless around and the room I can smell pet
- 5/5
They staff there are very friendly. Got exactly what I paid for. Shuttle to the airport a plus.
- 4/5
I stayed for 3 nights. The person who checked me in was nice and made me feel welcomed. The room was clean however the water in the sink would not drain completely every time I used it. The hand soap was empty however I asked one of the housekeepers to add soap to the bathroom and they did. Breakfast is served only until 9am so you do have to wake up a little early to get it. The options for breakfast were good. The hot tub being open and being an option was nice.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay by the freeway
- 4/5
Clean room, check in was easy. On major intersections so easy on / off fir the freeway.
- 4/5
Very nice, we would come here again
- 5/5
Convenient location & great breakfast.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful at check in and made sure I was taken care of with my needs when I would go by the front desk. Great customer service
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
They place was not in to good of area there is a homeless housing facility a cross street the rooms are are a bit dated some of the bfast was great !! But I won’t rate this at a 9 like post said 7.6 is more like it
- 5/5
Excellent in every way!
- 4/5
Staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
I live in a small town in Wyoming and only go to hotels when I am in the city, not even in Denver does a person have to ring the front desk to enter the front door of a hotel. Thats not keeping Portland weird, that’s failure on some otherworldly level.
- 3/5
Room was clean, hotel was nice. Toilet didn't work very well though
- 5/5
The breakfast was excellent in the price. Room was large and clean. Great value for money.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, courteous staff. Spacious with nice amenities
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and it’s a family friendly place. Buffet breakfast was a plus
- 5/5
Breakfast: typical free hotel breakfast buffet. Not any better than average.
- 5/5
Staff was really nice
- 5/5
polite staff
- 3/5
Clean, comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Clean hot tub. Decent breakfast. The only disappointment was the view of the ramshackle RV park next door. Next time we will know to ask for a room on a different side of the building.
- 5/5
Room is nice and clean
- 1/5
Ants in the bathroom
- 5/5
Great stay . Super clean and great location . Will definitely recommend this location .friendly staff .
- 5/5
Buffet breakfast with hot and cold foods, juices, coffee, tea etc. very enjoyable! Would stay again!
- 3/5
Room was so loud next to the freeway. And smelled like body odor. Suggest using an ozone air cleaner in there. In the bathroom, the shower curtain does not reach the floor of the roll in shower so water went everywhere, and the detachable shower head was up so high i could hardly reach it, a person in a wheel chairs would never be able to reach it.
- 5/5
Clean and good mattress! Also, great breakfast!
- 5/5
Nice room at a great price!
- 5/5
The room was clean, the hotel was nice, I felt security was good. Overall a good experience.
- 3/5
Breakfast menu was very limited. Room was old and not very clean though I wouldn’t say it was dirty. Staff when I checked in was a little rude but okay I guess.
- 2/5
The room smelt so awful, granted we brought a pet with us; we did not expect it to smell so bad.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 4/5
Great stay.
- 5/5
Great staff service.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 5/5
Just need a place to rest between flights. The staff were very friendly and the room clean and comfortable. I’d stay again
- 5/5
Room cleanliness 5/5. Very quiet and pleasant
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay however a few gnats around the dining area were bothersome. Also, our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned during our stay. Wasnt a big deal but worth mentioning.
- 2/5
The nearby intersection is quite noisy.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast had a good variety of choices. only complaint I had was the noise from the traffic on the busy street nearby. I liked that Elmer's Restaurant was just next door, an easy walk for dinner.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and great pillows. The staff in the morning were sincerely warm/friendly. Breakfast options and quality were excellent.
- 3/5
Definitely not one of the nicest best westerns that I’ve stayed at. Seems a little outdated and could use some updating in the rooms.
- 5/5
Clean , safe convenient, restraunt next door
- 4/5
Rooms were very clean maids were very good. Shuttle was available when we needed it.
- 3/5
common areas were clean, room was pretty clean except for area behind a chair was not vacuumed. Also a few long hairs in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Huge room, very clean. View sucked, but closed curtains worked.
- 4/5
Safe and convenient. Staff is friendly. Hotel was clean and felt very safe.
- 4/5
Room was clean, nice. Only minor thing shower was missing the shower liner so water got on the floor.
- 5/5
Everything stay here great that why took another day here
- 4/5
Clean, good food. Would reccomend to others.
- 5/5
It was very clean and extremely quiet and the breakfast was amazing on all the mornings i had strawberry Belgium waffles. And i had a room right next to an entrance where i parked. I wasnt bothered by the staff my entire stay. I go and stay at hotels for a couple days to sleep and be alone and pamper myself. This was a perfect choice. Ill definitely stay there again. The staff was amazing too
- 3/5
My room had a trailer park view and was right by an exit that goes to the outside courtyard area so I heard every time someone entered or exited. And you could hear everything going on upstairs. Room is dimly lit and very outdated. The only actual curtains were white see through thin ones so I had little actual privacy and no way of blocking out the light in the morning. Would not likely return to this hotel.
- 4/5

- 2/5
Room
- 5/5
The best
- 3/5
Room quite cold on arrival although heating worked pretty well. Big rooms, comfy beds… not bad for the price having BW name as some warranty
- 2/5
Front desk was very nice and accommodating however the "pet-friendly' room reeked of dog urine and smelled like wet dog.
- 5/5
The staff was fabulous
- 5/5
Convenient to airport. Clean. Very friendly staff.
- 3/5
clean and comfortable
- 2/5
When I checked in, the front desk staffs are friendly, but the morning lady who helped with the breakfast area is not as nice. The room’s carpet is not as clean, smells uncomfortable. Outdated furniture. The area surrounding of the place is not as safe.
- 2/5
Not a family friendly area.
- 3/5
staff was friendly, rooms were clean, but the beds were so hard and uncomfortable!
- 2/5
Our first room was dirty, my shoe actually stuck to the carpet in one spot. We arrived late due to our daughter being in difficult labor for many hours, the person that checked us in was rude. The next morning the staff at the desk were cool and unfriendly. No smiles or welcomes here at all for the entire weekend. We ended up staying 4 nights due to the difficult labor and C Sec
- 5/5
Overall im really pleased for the greatness of Best Western Hotel and its faculties.
- 4/5
Very noisy at night due to the train and other outside noises
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. Swiftly changed rooms to accommodate my husbands need for.walk in shower. Thank you!!
- 4/5
No applicable on breakfast as we left too early. Airport shadow was great.
- 5/5
Quick check in. Clean, comfortable room. Hot tub very clean and the jets worked well. Will likely stay again.
- 2/5
I stumbled upon breakfast in the am when I was about to go out for breakfast. The location of the hotel was good for my needs but it is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I was outside for less than 10 minutes and had several prostitutes walk by. I'm pretty sure they were prostitutes as one had NOTHING but an unbuttoned jacket on. The view out window was of several homeless tents and the freeway entrance.
- 4/5
Clean room, pretty lobby and staircase. Appreciated the elevator. Lobby staff were helpful.
- 4/5
My biggest issue here is there are 3 different BW in the airport area and one shuttle came by a couple of times still waiting for the right BW shuttle. And to have to smell all the exhaust and fuel fumes while waiting. The shuttle is only 10 minutes away, it took ger 45 minutes to arrive. Go figure!!
- 3/5
Room smelled weird.
- 5/5
Quick place for a snooze before taking off again!
- 5/5
The staff that checked me was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
You have to call them to send the airport shuttle. Just FYI. Some loud train noise at night. But otherwise a fine hotel. Good burgers at Sandy-O a few blocks east.
- 5/5
Nice comfortable and clean room. Quiet hotel with very good selection for breakfast
- 4/5
Few homeless around the area.
- 3/5
My stay was OK given the overall experience. I'm borderline wanting to say poor, but some things are out of the properties control given location and demograph. There were a lot of homeless around. My first night, someone was literally camped out directly below my room window. Like leaning against the exterior wall of my room. It was cleaned up the next morning though. The road is almost unbearably loud, insulation is obviously lacking. The room smelled horrible, and the lounge chair was gross and I wouldn't even place my suitcase on it. The facility is actually pretty nice and modern, but I didn't sleep well at all between the road noise, foul smell, and a non stop dog barking in a homeless camp about 40 feet from my window. The place is trying, but Portland is not exactly working to help businesses stay comfortable. My room wasn't made up after my second night, no big deal, but I had to request more towels from the front desk. The hallways smelled like marijuana smoke, and people were openly smoking it all around the entire property. This is NOT a family place, not for kids, and not for anyone looking to relax. Just a bed and shower.
- 5/5
I
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and clean. Convenient location right off the highway.
- 4/5
Surrounding area seemed rough but felt very safe on the hotel property
- 4/5
staff are very friendly
- 5/5
Where it is dictates some noise. Once inside, I was absolutely shocked at how well kept and run this site was. I live in town, know the neighborhood, had concerns. Well done, team!
- 4/5
Easy parking
- 4/5
We used the hotel because it was close to the airport. When we opened the curtain we looked out on a homeless camp. We are aware that this is a problem with the city and they were not on the hotel property, but they might want to put up a fence. I like to keep my curtains opened but didn’t feel comfortable, because if I could see them, they can see me and there was nothing to keep them from walking up to my ground level room. I do feel for the homeless, and wish the city would find some kind of housing where they are safe and have running water and bathrooms.
- 2/5
It started with the site not specifying their pool/hot tub are outside and therefore seasonal. Then, the swing shift staff were the most inhospitable, as if answering my questions were an imposition. The only reason I had to go up there was to ask for another towel because there were only 2 in the room with 2 adults. I have hit flashes and sometimes shower twice a day to stay fresh.
- 5/5
Quick and easy check in. Comfortable bed. Hot tub was nice. Very quiet.
- 3/5
Nice evening driver and night desk woman. Pool and sauna nice. My room was clean but I had to keep my blackout curtains closed for the people living outside, so I missed sunset, and moonrise. Front desk at registration was curt and ungenerous. Generally unpleasant.
- 5/5
It was an easy process for check-in & check-out
- 4/5
Just a lot of homeless around the property.
- 5/5
Thank you for your response and support
- 5/5
Loved the pool
- 5/5
Customer service oriented. They fitted accommodations to our needs. Affordable and accessible to the medical facility.
- 5/5
Great check in and place to stay
- 3/5
The room above us was loud all night. When we told the desk they call the room. But they never followed up on it to make sure it stopped.
- 2/5
The front desk man in the morning for checking out was rude and unfriendly. Will not stay here again and would tell other patrons to avoid this hotel at all costs!
- 1/5
Room was not clean. Homelessness around hotel. Prostitution around hotel
- 4/5
Area around property we were not comfortable walking to dinner and around the area.
- 4/5
Right off the interstate. Close to airport. No issues with safety
- 4/5
We came out at 8am and there was not a lot of food hot food options left, mostly empty. Generally was a clean great space but not a lot of things to explore nearby.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Friendly staff! Great location for the zoo!
- 5/5
Very fun motor-lodge, easy to get to even with a Uhaul, nice remodeled rooms and comfortable environment. Especially loved the walk-in shower!
- 3/5
Ok if you’re looking for well priced accommodations. Staff were nice. Bathroom wasn’t very clean (hairs in tub and toilet).
- 5/5
Worth the money
- 5/5
The only thing is there is a low income RV park next to the diner In the parking lot. I've never had a problem at all, just turns rough quickly. Has great easy highway access and the pool is our fav of any hotel in the area that I've stayed at. We go every year for soccer tournaments and all the families and kids love it. We will return. The employees have been the same each year which is a good sign!
- 4/5
Breakfast was great. The room was good. Kudos to the cleaning staff! The room had a smoke smell for a non smoking room.
- 4/5
Not sure
- 4/5
There were no blackout curtains to cover the lights coming from the post and cars passing by. The light from outside our room disturbs our sleep.
- 4/5
- close to airport - clean rooms and hotel. Has microwave, refrigerator and bed felt comfortable. - has pool if one wants to enjoy Cons: - parking area feels little unsafe during the night with unauthorized people passing by randomly - the breakfast was supposed to be better but was very limited during my stay (i was told the employee responsible for breakfast has called sick. However, the hotel should be equipped to find a replacement)
- 5/5
Nice and clean, we felt safe.
- 3/5
Check in was a nightmare. Took 45 + minutes to check in. Front desk lady was very crabby and cussing in front of us (I had my child with) very unprofessional. Not the best neighborhood.
- 3/5
Room was clean however the AC wasn’t working in the room. We got the last room at the hotel so just dealt with it. outside our window was an old RV park and a fence with bob wire on the top…. Guessing to keep those from the RV park from coming over the fence. Other than that it was very quite and the hotel had a good breakfast. Pool area was clean and nice.
- 5/5
Great place to stay before traveling out PDX!
- 3/5
Stay was okay. AC was cold, breakfast was good. The bathroom smells. You can hear noise from outside like probably homeless yelling.
- 5/5
I had last minute travel plans due to a delayed flight the people at the front desk were very helpful and made my checking easy and painless after a very long and frustrating day
- 1/5
ac didn’t work in two rooms we swapped, front desk was very slow. ended up leaving and didn’t get a refund either so i had to pay for a new hotel room elsewhere
- 4/5
Room AC units should have screen filters cleaned monthly… ours were filthy and I cleaned myself
- 2/5
I also had a poor experience at the airport just before checking into this hotel. Overall, I won’t be using PDX as a layover point anymore.
- 5/5
An older property but well kept and maintained. Staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
- 2/5
Not good . I’ll not come again
- 5/5
I’m not from the Portland area so I was just crossing my fingers that the reviews were reliable, I can say they were. The hotel is in an ideal part of Portland, we were so close to everything. The parking lot isn’t the biggest, but it feels safe and is clean. The hotel itself is clean and requires your keycard for entrance after you check in which made it feel safe. Our room was well kept, however our AC didn’t work. We called the front desk and they offered to switch us rooms, we decided to stick it out but were very appreciative of their offer. They had plenty of breakfast options, I would recommend.
- 5/5
We liked the shuttle to the airport that was on time and pleasant. We would have loved to use the hot tub, but just didn't have time!
- 5/5
Staff was nice. Homeless around the area but they keep the main doors locked. They will open for you or you can use your key card.
- 3/5
It is a good place to spend a night and not longer. The area around the hotel doesn[t look too promising - the fact that the hotel locks the front door at 10 PM
- 5/5
There was trash around the property. Wasn't to happy about that.
- 3/5
I am surprised this hotel had such high ratings, it was just okay. The fan in my bathroom was very loud and sink was very slow to drain. The breakfast was your average Continental breakfast. To get into the building you have to buzz the front desk and they come let you in. My room keys did not work immediately and I got locked out of the building. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean. Nice staff. Breakfast good.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable beds. Helpful friendly staff. Ħp
- 5/5
I did like it but air conditioner in .y room don't work
- 4/5
Delivered as expected.Would stay again.
- 5/5
GREAT JOB, THANK YOU.
- 3/5
Close to the airport.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit family in Portland. We choose this hotel partly because it includes breakfast. On our last morning we were informed that the breakfast room was closed because they had no one to run it. There really should be a back up plan for that. We were in a hurry and that threw off our entire schedule. Only after we asked about a compensation did we receive a $20 credit

Everything was excellent.

Not an awesome place for good night of sleep. Old creeky ceilings reminds me of cheap apartments of my youth. Also the sun shades are too old to work properly.

We had a great experience for the one night that we were there. Breakfast was good. There was a good selection. Coffee was good. Not weak like some other hotels.

Close to the airport

Good, comfortable room at a good price; well located. I will stay there again the next time I travel to Portland.

Like the proximity to the airport, dislike the lack of security in the parking areas.

Great place to stay with easy airport access

The first time encountered to ring a bell when entering the hotel and had the staff open the door for us. I was confused at whether we came in the right place. The early Monday morning it sounded like dumpster truck or other vehicle made loud noise outside our window and woke us up from sleep. The hotel staff are quite friendly though with shuttle taken us in and out to airport.

Easy check in, polite staff. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Hot tub was excellent. Quiet.

I wss fscing one of the noisiest corenrs possiblr. The ares aroubd the hotel was bery poor. The hotel itself wsd nice.

All the staff members were on board and were working hard to make sure that they were able to meet the needs of the people. Friendly, respectful, caring individuals. I’ll go there if needed again without a doubt.

I really appreciate the curiosity of the staff.

Had an early shuttle to the airport. Was hoping to grab breakfast but it wasn’t set out at the time it said it was supposed to.

There was no breakfast and that’s why we are a member is because of the breakfast

The hotel is close to Portland airport and provide a free shuttle. I stay on that property every when I have a morning flight. The breakfast provided is always good.

The only complaint is that breakfast was included in the price of the room, and because one person was ill, it was cancelled. The property was chosen for the breakfast option, and it was not available.

Quite a lovely interior with huge windows in the lobby and a very nice spiral staircase. Comfortable beds, clean and nice rooms. Suggestion: please keep small amount of cleaning spray or paper towels or something at front desk in case there is a spill overnight that a guest needs to clean up. We inquired and although able to find something, this would be helpful.

The first room we were given smelled like stale cigarettes and this is a nonsmoking property. Talked to woman at front desk and she offered me an upgrade.... for $15. Declined uograde got a room that didnt smell gross. Bathroom sink doesnt drain. Lock on bathroom door broken. Fabric shower curtain has mildew stains.

Nice place 2 stay

This was our first stay here. As a couple, my boyfriend and I wanted a night out alone, and chose this location because it was close to a favorite restaurant and it has a hot tub, and free breakfast. It was really nice and surpassed our expectations. It was clean and quiet, and most importantly I felt safe as they keep the front door locked.

The night desk was friendly and courteous; professional. Room rate wa excellent!

The room only had a light blanket and staff would not provide another. Room was cold and sleep difficult. I do not understand why the manager would not give us a blanket from an unused room. Why allow guests to be cold? We did not expect this. I recommend a different hotel.

I was only overnight. Some one outside the building woke me at 2 am. Not the hotel fault

Very nice great breakfast

I would have given the staff a five star because everyone I interacted with in person was pleasant… however… I put a “Do Not Disturb” hanger on my door and when I returned the staff had come into the room to clean it. While they cleaned well, I felt disrespected and violated in my request being honored.

There were encampments directly on the walkway outside the entrance doors. The door to our room had been very obviously broken through at one point and "repaired" with glue and not fully repaired at all, was still loose, and not secure at all. The tub was lined with black mold and stained, very unclean. The entrance door to the building is locked, thank god, but when I used the bell to get in (no key until you check in) the front desk attendant was irritated that it was quiet hours and the bell had been used - how else am I supposed to gain access? Very sketchy surroundings, very unwelcoming staff, and very unclean rooms. I requested a refund within the same hour of booking and showing up and was refused even though it was a matter of cleanliness and safety - stay away.

Property was nice, area not the best.
