This place isn’t worth it compared to other hotels nearby. No ice machine and ice maker made about 12 small block of ice in 5 hours and through the night it make loud noise when it pop out an ice block. There’s only 1 way in and 1 way out which the front main door. Tooth brush and paste are cost now when other hotels would give it for free. No breakfast offered and all the food are bad food. Won’t stay here again.

Staff was friendly , extra amenity library , laundry and gym available. Kitchen utensils provided. Clean and spacious room. Great insulation between rooms ( no noise or cooking smells from other rooms). Very clean. Parking lot was awkward and small.
- 5/5
Great experience. Staff very nice and professional. Laundry services very convenient.

The long term parking for the best price I could find. The shuttle and the front desk girl were wonderful. The shuttle had already stopped when I got there but she sent someone anyway. It was so appreciated! The room smelled weird and the bed wall backed up to a machinery room that had a motor inside that went on every 5 minutes. Little sleep being that sleep was the whole point of getting this room instead of driving 1:30 hrs home at midnight after a long day flying. I wish I had driven home or slept at a rest area in the car.

Great location, nice staff, comfortable room. But whatever they use to clean with set off my allergies and gave me a headache. Maybe it won’t bother anyone else?
- 5/5
Great hotel, 5 minutes from airport. Traveled with 2 babies and the room was excellent, spacious, and full kitchenette. The pantry market had plenty of options and the 24 hour coffee machine is brilliant! Special thanks to Tara for all her help! Highly recommend.

Hotel was very close to Jiffy Park, so we had easy access in the morning to park our car before flying out, without any traffic hassles. Our stay was very nice - comfortable beds, well stocked kitchenette, well maintained property. Lots of facilities nearby that can be accessed on local roads (I-205 is often a traffic mess). Nothing

Good hotel for a quick overnight when arriving late..

While there weren’t any air fresheners plugged into the rooms themselves, a strong fragrance would rush in every time the door was opened. Simply walking from the car to my room made my eyes water and triggered an immediate migraine.
- 2/5
The room was clean, but had a odd smell. It was advertised as a queen studio and the photos made the room look much more spacious than it was. The room was very small. However it was nice and quiet in the area, no loud neighbors near us. But The staff was friendly and helpful.

NA Request of bottom floor, received confirmation, upon arrival was on the 2nd, down graded room to be on bottom floor. After checking in, during parking and unpacking, the only ADA/placard parking was full was told to park out back, the only entrance to this place is through the lobby, once you exit a hallway door to unpack, you must walk ALL the way around to the original entrance, it’s not safe at night, inconvenient during the day! Other hotels nearby with working e it/re-enter! !

Very clean hotel with such friendly staff. Towels were large and soft and the bedding was nice also. Room was well appointed. The hotel is in the flight path for PDX but was not noticed after the first plane or two. Easy to access and close to several stores and shopping.

Great stay, no complaints. Staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful.

- 5/5
Room was amazing fully stocked and clean. Loved the free laundry. Only having one door to come in and out of was inconvenient and the security guard was Inappropriate and Rude starting cussing out my boyfriend who was waiting out by our car. Accusing him of trespassing and not supposed to be there. We had stayed three nights but because of the ordeal with the guard we were not allowed to stay another night even tho it was for already. Disappointed that the security was allowed to act like that and it down to his word against ours and apparently guests/customers are NOT always right anymore EVER… other than that the staff was kind even the manger was nice all things considered.
- 5/5
The only complaint was that there were toe nail clippings on the floor. Everything else was amazing
- 5/5
Clean room, very comfortable bed & pillows. Malena was great to us & made accommodations for us during our stay.
- 5/5
Helpful staff.

It was a good night before flight place but ghey forgot our wake-up call
- 1/5
Pet fee is overpriced, no free breakfast or amenities, hotel scent is overpowering, parking is cramped.

The hospitality was outstanding from start to finish. Skylar, in particular, exceeded expectations and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful service!

Punctual airport shuttle.

They have air fresheners spraying in the elevator and I got sick from the smell. Why would you put something like that when so many people have allergies. Also the people above us were so loud from 1-2:30, we couldn’t sleep had to get up at 3:00
- 5/5
My room had a kitchenette and was unexpectedly spacious. I appreciated having a large desk and a comfortable lounge chair.

No issues. I will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
The property was clean and well kept. We liked the convenience of the airport shuttle and that it was near the airport. Gave 4 stars for “family friendly” because it appeared to be more geared towards business travelers, because of the large desk in the room and the rough neighborhood that it’s located in. Also the bed was suppose to be a queen, but felt more like a full size.
- 5/5

The check in staff were great.

- 4/5
Kitchen full equip but staff need put instructions in room how to turn on stove with a timer and tv instructions or guide.
- 3/5
I continue to look for hotels that have pet-free rooms. Tired sharing a bed with fleas
- 5/5
Front desk staff was amazing. Room is very clean. I noticed that the blow dryer in the bathroom did not work. It was unfortunate, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall a great stay.
- 5/5
All the above
- 3/5
The only thing great about this place is the staff. Honest & truly. When I walked in the amount of AWFUL fragrance present was absolutely intolerable. I was hopeful in the room it wouldn’t be toxic toxic toxic yet it literally seeps through walls. I would love to say this for the record; these toxic fragrances are incredibly harmful. To our health, our lungs, our DNA. The staff says the machines in every hallway are being disabled by the company, yet, the stank will remain. I do not believe anyone should stay here if you care about your health & well-being.
- 5/5
Everything was SUPERB!
- 5/5
This will probably become our hotel of choice when we need to stay a night fo a flight out of PDX. Super easy and friendly check-in, quiet, big room. Fit our family’s need perfectly.
- 3/5
Beds needs to be replaced, it was like sleeping on a rock.
- 5/5
Spacious room. Staff was friendly and free shuttle to airport
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff friendly
- 4/5
Clean and decent room. There is a small kitchenette in case you want to cook a meal yourself. There are also appliances by the front desk that can be loaned out. There are a few places where you can also get something to eat.
- 3/5
The only reason I’m giving this hotel an OK is because the view from our room was a homeless camp! The fragrance they use to clean in the hallway was so strong you could taste it. With that being said, property was convenient, lots of amenities and the rooms were very clean. Price was right.
- 4/5
I chose this hotel because it was IHG and it was the closest to my niece who I was visiting. Very welcoming and friendly staff. I am fussy about cleanliness. The place was spic and span. Bed and linens went beyond my expectation. Appreciated the gym and the fresh coffee in the morning. The area itself is a bit dicey. My view was a large homeless camp right in my backyard. No grocery stores or restaurants nearby. But if you needed laundry facilities or a partial kitchen in the room that was available
- 5/5
Clean room, loved the kitchen!
- 3/5
Do not use artificial are sanitizing agents in facility. The significance of this event caused a respiratory event.
- 5/5
Exceptional staff, Jason in particular. Very nice and clean room. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was exceptionally perfect.

I booked this hotel specifically so we could shuttle to the airport only to find it doesn’t run when we needed it. Had to Uber anyway.

- 3/5
Very convenient to and from many placed many places Portland and especially the airport. even though they had shopping close and dining close by, take a car because you will encounter homeless in the vacant lot next
- 3/5
Check-in is before 1 am or they’ll cancel the reservation without notifying if booked through a third party. Extending the stay was much more expensive than the booked rate.

Everyone was super nice, room was clean and everything, could not have had a better experience.
- 1/5
We made our reservation on Expidia 30 min prior to getting there. We had a moving truck. We pulled in to the parking lot and there was no parking available and no room to turn around. We had to squeeze to the end and the proceed to turn around little by little to finally get turned around. I was amazed he was able to do all that without hitting any cars. When we asked were we can park the truck because there was no parking available in the parking lot they said to park behind the hotel in the alley. We drove back there and it was dark. And there was a no parking sign.. we were not going to leave all our belongings in a dark alley and it clearly said no parking.. when we asked for our money back so we could go somewhere else they said we would have to deal with Expedia. When I called Expidia they said the shift manager was not available and they would get back to me.. no one had.. we were there for our reservation.. it’s not our fault they had no parking available to accommodate our truck but there was no parking available at all for anyone else to even park a car.. so be wear you may not have parking available here if you decide to stay here.
- 4/5
We booked this location due to airport shuttle for 6am flight. Turns out they don’t run the shuttle that early.
- 2/5
We were charged for toothbrush and toothpaste from the lobby store even though we never purchased anything. Although they finally gave us the refund after a few days but still trouble us.
- 5/5
It was good.
- 4/5
Clean property, rooms were nice. Only real annoyance was how small the parking lot is, way to tight to try and park in there.
- 5/5
Very clean, comfortable and good price.
- 4/5
Nice property but definitely small for parking a full size truck and impossible if you’re hauling an enclosed trailer.
- 5/5
Was great for the price, much better than the Rosewood Hotel down the street, which we quickly checked out of once we got glimpse of our room. It was conveniently located close to Portland and the hotel in general was clean.
- 1/5
Awful
- 5/5
Plenty of room for whole family. Like having a separate bedroom and a kitchen space.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Hotel convenient to the airport. Need Uber for early morning (3:30am) flight though as no shuttle available.
- 3/5
The lady that check me in was friendly, but the staff around her was not!
- 5/5
We were satisfied with our decision to stay at Candlewood.
- 2/5
This made the stay challenging with kids (who drink a lot of water!)
- 1/5
I recently stayed at this hotel and originally booked for three nights. However, due to a change in my plans, I needed to check out a night early. I informed the front desk about this change on the day of check-in, which was more than 48 hours before my original checkout date. The staff assured me that this would not be a problem given I am informing them in advance. Unfortunately, after I checked out, I was informed that the manager did not approve the refund, and therefore I would be charged for all three nights. This was not only disappointing but also frustrating. I followed the exact process that was instructed to me and communicated my change as early as possible. My main issue isn't with the refund itself, but with the false impression I was given that everything was taken care of. Had I been told up front that a refund wouldn’t be possible, I would have explored alternative options. Instead, I was misled and left with no choice at the last moment. I hope the hotel can improve its internal communication and be clear and upfront with guests about their policies, especially when it directly affects decision-making and costs.
- 3/5
It was nice
- 5/5
10 out of 10 the staff is friendly and they gave me a gift. The room is spacious its my second time staying because it is the perfect place to relax. It has the best sunset view just beautiful! It has a full loaded kitchen
- 5/5
Very pleasing room and service
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. It was a quick stay for us but we enjoyed the place to rest our heads.
- 5/5
Loved it so much I am booking again
- 5/5
We picked this hotel because it was close to the airport for our early flight in the morning.
- 5/5
The suites here are quiet, clean, and comfortable with everything you might need for a long stay. There's even a pantry in the room! If there's something you need but isn't provided in the room, like an air fryer, crock pot, or board games, check with the front desk because they probably have it to borrow. The staff is very efficient and and professional, the property is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are spacious and modern. No complaints at all from me, thanks for a great stay at a great price!
- 4/5
Room was clean but need to update towels, have some facial tissues, and perhaps some paper towels for the kitchen.
- 5/5
Other than that hotel was superb. Bed was comfortable, space was clean and roomy, fitness center was quiet and well equipped, there was also washer & dryers. Will definately stay again.
- 5/5
The washer and dryer was very convenient. Room was clean and well thought out. 24 hour store downstairs was a great idea! Parking was a little difficult, the spaces were small and too close together. It would work perfectly if everyone drove a small car…
- 5/5
First time staying here. Front end staff made it simple and quick. Will stay again if im in area
- 1/5
Not helpful when flight was cancelled
- 5/5
This hotel is perfectly fine. I know that might sound like a three star review - it's not. The rooms all have kitchenettes and for a family visiting Portland would be great value for the money. It's not in town but it's near the airport. You'll need a car to get around. It's a little on the older side, but it's clean and the rooms are big. There's even an ice maker in the fridges! You can borrow anything you'd need to cook a nice meal from the cabinets in the lobby and wash up in the dishwasher. It's not super fancy or flashy. It's not in the posh part of town. It's perfectly fine and it does that job very well.
- 3/5
The lamp by the bed did not work. There was an ant in the bathroom and I could not turn off the air conditioning. Key was not activated initially.
- 5/5
Staff was very accommodating. The hotel and rooms were very clean.
- 5/5
Nice folks, easy check in, knowledgeable about the area
- 5/5
Great hotel, lovely room, convenient for the airport. Staff were very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
It was amazing . The front desk was always so kind and helpful . The hotel itself is kinda pricy as well as the store they have in it BUT if you have the money to just spend I’d definitely recommend this hotel. Everything about it from the rooms, to the service, to the cleanliness is just 10/10 all around . My husband and I travel for work and we stayed here as long as we could before it got booked out . So get it before it’s filled ! Even the studio rooms are spacious , queen or king beds . The other actual bedrooms are even bigger I bet but if you’re wanting something spacious and doable in terms of price i recommend a king studio room!
- 2/5
Staff were friendly 0
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
Some of the amenities like the washers and dryers in the laundry room could use an upgrade, and the little on site grocery store needs to expand its variety of products. Also, the fresh daily coffee they promise was not available, but the staff very kindly offered us instant coffee packets and hot water. This is a good hotel that could be an amazing hotel with just a few small changes. And the beds and linens are top of the line: best sleep ever after a long day in Portland!
- 4/5
Funny smell in hotel. Too much air freshener perhaps. Parking felt like it might not be possible.
- 5/5
From the hotel front desk ladies, the front desk staff was very kind, friendly.the rooms everything was clean smells good, I will be back. Thanks Candlewood for all you did for us!
- 5/5
This was amazing - beautiful suite, excellent service. Definitely staying there again in the future
- 3/5
if you pay 180.00 per night and No Water bottle is complementary that's a No for a goof feedback.
- 3/5
Last minute book. Pricing wasn’t the best for room
- 5/5
I was only there for one night but the experience was good
- 5/5
However, everything else was great and I would be happy to stay here again. The shuttle driver John was very courteous and even ran me back to the airport so I could look for my suitcase that the airline misplaced. He reminded me a lot of McLaren Motorsport CEO Zak Brown, which is my favorite Formula 1 team. 😂
- 5/5
Check in was easy close to the airport and shopping center . Staff are friendly and respectful.
- 5/5
We only stayed one night, but would come back
- 4/5

I would stay here again. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything was just wonderful. The staff was very accommodating too.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
*ice maker broken in freezer *TV not working which I ended up fixing because they wanted me to move rooms at 10pm after a long day of travel
- 4/5
The room was good size with a kitchen but in the morning we noticed that the donuts we had bought the night before were covered in ants and ruined. Told the desk about it at check out and they said ok, housekeeping will clean them. They didn’t seem to concerned about it. Overall ok stay, just need to deal with the ant problem
- 5/5
First time we stayed at this hotel, we will definitely come back!
- 5/5
Great!

The staff was very welcoming, kind and helpful

Will visit again

I loved having the kitchenette so I could prepare my own food!
- 5/5
Super affordable, looks like it was just refurbished. Bed was perfect, and the staff was most excellent 👍
- 4/5
Easy to find and check in was smooth!
- 3/5
Water in shower was warm not hot and parking was tight other than that it was ok
- 5/5
Convenient when traveling to or from PDX. Accomodating staff. Clean modern rooms w kitchenette and desk/office space and chair. Decent selection of food items for purchase.
- 5/5
Everyone was very kind and prompt. Very nice room to stay in
- 5/5
I throughly enjoyed my stay. Very clean and peaceful.
- 5/5
The service was amazing and the folks are super friendly and kind.
- 5/5
The only downside I had was the parking lot is TIGHT. The ladies at the desk were very nice and the place was super clean. The bed, sheets and pillows were comfortable. I was a bit surprised my card was charged before I arrived since I chose the pay upon check in option but it wasn’t a big deal. We would stay here again for sure.
- 5/5
Secure parking, clean, quiet, comfortable bed/pillows, close to airport and super reasonable.
- 5/5
Location to the airport is excellent! The promptness of courtesy shuttle and the staff make this 5 star for me
- 5/5
i want they bed. was amazing
- 5/5
Very nice. All staff were exceptional and my room was fantastic and clean . Very comfortable bed. Only thing I would have loved to be able to watch my streaming services on the TV but seemed to be blocked. But a great 2 weeks non the less. Made me very comfortable and is close to the hospital my dad is in at the moment. Thank you to all staff.

Can’t use a credit card that has a store name on it even if it is a visa or American Express card. Thankfully I had another card on me. Oh and you can’t get more towels unless u bring down the old ones Lol

Quick stay to catch a flight the next day. Super friendly and helpful staff and check in. Agent helped me sign up for park and fly and made me feel comfortable about leaving my car while I was gone.

Easy overnight for early morning flight.

Smelly hallways, smelly rooms. Dingy, old, beat up furniture. Bedside clock that doesn’t work. Cable TV went out and there was no way to watch TV. Staff were great, and though the room was and furniture were old and smelly, the room itself was clean.
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Christmas stay. Room for was clean. A tad bit outdated. But comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean, cozy
- 5/5
Convenient and accomodating.
- 4/5
I’d love to make this chain my new go to for every city I visit. Overall, I actually didn’t want to leave, although this was only a 3 star hotel. Beware of the parking, the one room heating situation and the barely comfortable pull out bed. But look forward to being safe, feeling at home, and endless hot showers.
- 3/5
Charged $150 deposit apon check in. Very disappointed. If I don't receive a full $150 refund on my card, I'll never stay here again.
