Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its proximity to the airport and the convenience of its shuttle service. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, there are several complaints about the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms, with issues ranging from broken air conditioning to dirty carpets and moldy bathrooms. Some guests also express disappointment with the lack of housekeeping services and the quality of the food in the restaurant.

Shower wasn’t hot enough for me. It was either warm or cold.

I am not sure how is this a Sheraton! The staff at the front desk was really not engaged, I did not even get hello on entry. I had to change my room because I was given a room right by the exit to the car park on the groun floor and as a single female traveller this was definitely not where I have ever been put! The property is tired! Pool needs serious renovation. It really is not what I expect from a Sheraton!

I just stayed one night before continuing my trip by car. The shuttle from the airport was excellent, and available 24 hrs for late/early travelers. I went back via shuttle to rent my car, and experience was terrific. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the staff even kept the kitchen open so I could get something to eat even through it was 10:30pm. The next morning I had a great breakfast in the restaurant, and one of the staff coached me on travel routing and sure enough, she was spot on. So very nice, welcoming, and I was ready for next leg of my trip. Highly recommend

Proximity to the airport is a huge asset. They have a 24 hour shuttle bus service which allows us to leave our car at the Hotel. The restaurant/bar has excellent service and the menu is great. The morning after our stay our car battery was dead and they graciously helped us get the battery jumped and we were on our way. I always stay at the Sheraton when traveling.

Well the bed was very uncomfortable my back hurt for about 3 or 4 hours after I got up the air conditioner didn't work it was fairly clean I don't have to complain too much about that I'm not too picky about that but if you were to fix those two things would be great
- 4/5
The staff members were very accommodating and took care of my needs in a timely manner.

We love the restaurant! The food is great and drinks are well crafted. This is our go-to for our casual trips to Portland. They are pet friendly and still so nice!

Last minute availability. Location near airport was super convenient, as was the airport shuttle. Also, front desk staff was very helpful and kind.

Location to airport and shuttle service The bath tub was dirty, there was hair and dirt all over the bottom. The toilet seat was broken and the comforter had hair on it.

The shower handle came off when i turned it to adjust water and start my shower. The staining in the tub was so so bad, 1 star rating. There was no soap at the sink in the bathroom only the shower/conditioner/body/wash containers mounted to the shower wall. Poor form for $170 a night. Disappointed for sure.

Nice staff. Close to the airport. Bathroom is from 1991. Needs updated and deep cleaned.

Except for a water stain on bathroom floor (room 323), the hotel is spacious, clean and new feeling. Staff was pleasant.

Room window broke, heard planes all night, window would not close, toilet seat broke. no face wipes, not enough creamers, bad experience, but dinner was awesome. Stay in rooms front side!

The location of this property is great if you are looking for something close to the airport. It also provides easy access to almost anywhere you want to go.

Other than the walls being a bit thin for the bathroom and no bathroom fan, it was a very nice hotel.

So convenient!
- 4/5
The hotel is very close to PDX airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. There is a pool/jacuzzi room which was clean and well stocked with towels. The hotel needed an update considering the amount I was charged per night. Breakfast was not included and parking overnight was extra. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating with my requests for a runway view. Based on the cost and perceived value, I would stay somewhere else on my next visit to the area.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff...clean property
- 5/5
It was very convenient to be so close to terminals for an early flight out the next morning.
- 4/5
The hotel is fine for overnight stays.

Very nice place to stay before a flight. It was great.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel!
- 2/5
Useless counter girl and the place hasn’t been updated since 1970. Stay at the Hampton inn next door
- 5/5
My husband, my two dogs and I stay here every time we travel through PDX. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food and service at the restaurant is excellent. We will go back again and again.
- 1/5
Useless desk clerk.
- 5/5
Amazing service and excellent room.
- 1/5
The room was dirty, our heat didn't work and it was noisy.
- 3/5
We always stay here before we fly out of Portland and normally enjoy it. This time wasn’t as great due to a fraternity convention. The fraternity members were keeping us up with slamming doors, yelling in the hallway, etc. I have to say the hotel staff worked very hard to quiet them down so it is not a knock on the hotel, will not book a stay in the future if a fraternity convention will be happening at the same time.
- 3/5
I was told they needed my credit card for "incidentals" I was not told I was being charged, 8 hours later my card has not reimbursed. No communication.
- 3/5
Older and phone did not work to get a hold of front desk
- 1/5
They gave me another room close to the same place but the key they gave me a key would not unlock my door so again I drug all my stuff back down to the front desk. They sent a person with me to let me in as they were having "key" issues the guy said. The next room had issues with the heat, making aloud popping noise every time it came on. Took me an hour (late at night) to finally get into a room. Wasn't at all like the times I stayed before. The guy was not very cordial and acted as if it was my fault. Very disappointing,
- 3/5
There was no TV remote in the room. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work. They got both issues fixed. Nevertheless, the awesome bartender, Rocky, will keep us coming back. He also got us a wheelchair for my wife
- 3/5
We have stay one night after new year celebration they give for us first floor. I have a headache is too loud room look very old shower very small. No space on the bathroom.
- 5/5
The Lodging is located close to the Airport with an excellent shuttle service. There is an excellent restaurant located at the Lodging. The coffee maker is simple and easy to use. The staff is courteous and helpful.

staff was not very helpful, I asked for extra sheets and a blanket and never got it
- 5/5
Convenient location. Great stay.

Upon arrival we encountered a prostitute in the parking area, no security in site. Traveling alone as a woman with my daughter went to the room to find a strange man inside. Shocked and terrified and unsure if we were getting trafficked we flee to the front desk. Given another roo. (Downgraded) to a room with a broken toilet, squished food on floor and definitely not clean or sanitary. The broken toilet gushed water all night loufly. Our only positive was restaurant staff.
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to PDX. Bar/restaurant had good food. Lots of amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 24 hour shuttle to/from airport. Room was very quiet, even though it overlooked an airport runway. Comfortable Beds. Great place to stay for night before an early flight.
- 1/5
They overbooked by it sounds like 16 rooms despite the fact that I pre-paid, they did not have a room available. I had to get walked down to the local Hampton Inn, but I did get a free night. They don’t need your business, as it looks like they are getting a ton of tour groups. Book a different hotel.
- 4/5
Stayed here while attending a friends party at the hotel. It was not worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have to stay here. It was clean but the room was freezing and there was no temperature control. It was so cold that it made sleeping uncomfortable. The showers had lukewarm water and there was no conditioner in the huge empty bottle in the shower. Lastly no outlets were located conveniently to do any ironing. I’m giving it a 2.5 stars.
- 3/5
Shuttle service was really good. Staff was great but rooms were lacking

- 5/5
Very close to PDX Airport. Close to Vancouver WA. Very clean property, we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Close to airport.
- 3/5
Was updated cosmetically but look beyond that it’s run down. Water damage, sheets were pilled (old) it was okay but not worth the price.
- 1/5
One of the dirtiest rooms I have even seen and I have been to lots of hotels. found hair and lashes on the sheets, an old dried up contact lenses stuck to a new towel in the bathroom and the floor was sticky and dirty. To say I was disgusted to sleep there is an understatement. Seriously Sheraton, change your housekeeping crew!! Shame on you!!
- 1/5
I arrived late and was completely exhausted. I was awoken at 6:45 AM by annoying ‘beep beep beep’ of Construction. I could no longer sleep. Completely exhausted, I took a shower, and the drain was slow to drain. So I was forced to take a shower in a bathtub full of water. For a $200.00 a night hotel, this is totally unacceptable! I’m definitely expecting compensation for this very unhappy stay!
- 4/5
Hotel is close to the airport which is why we stayed there. The rooms are clean and modern. The water pipes though make a very loud clunky noise, which starling when sleeping. For one night it was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer.
- 5/5
Ok
- 3/5
Need new furniture but I’ll stay there again staff was kind the food there was great
- 4/5
Close to the airport with shuttle service.
- 5/5
Great location very close to the airport. Staff was great. Restaurant food was nice. Had club access. Great server and very relaxing. King suite is very nice. Only bad is that the water is shut off in the morning at 8 am. Will need to plan accordingly. Would have been nice to know.

- 4/5
Being close to the airport and staff were very nice.
- 5/5
This is a great airport hotel. Super clean and updated and even has good food. The shuttle to the airport is available anytime and worked like a charm. If you have a quick trip to Portland and need the convenience of staying but the airport, I highly recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
The room was comfortable. Facilties are clean even if a bit dated. Restaurant was good for a hotel. Charged a higher rate than posted for parking even when pointed out at check-in. Management and housekeeping was completely unresponsive to many messages about a lost and found item that was urgently needed. Service was very lacking for the rate paid.
- 3/5
Paid for Suite got a king room. The clerk said I should call expedia and ask for refund..... After going back and forward I got my suite. Needed to stay a few more days, when I asked if I can keep the room, was told that is not available even that I can go online and rent another suite for the days I need it. Hotel is clean but front desk is no help.
- 1/5
They wouldn’t let me check it it was too late! They suck
- 5/5
Very kind front desk staff
- 4/5
Decent stay overall. First room we were given had a broken AC … instead of moving us they sent a repairman… kind of strange. Claimed to be fixed, and it wasn’t. Still had to request a move to another room. Once in a cool room it was fine.
- 5/5
GREAT
- 4/5
Very close to airport
- 5/5
Very comfortable place to stay close to the airport. Our room was clean and quite comfortable. A couple of downsides, though: the A/C was on the noisy side and vents were quite dirty. It is also worth noting that the elevators to the guest rooms aren’t terribly close to the lobby. Not a deal killer, but worth noting if you’re lugging heavy bags.
- 5/5
Great property room super clean.
- 4/5
As a Gold member I’m pretty disappointed that when using rewards I was put in the what I imagine is the worst room in the hotel. Top floor, longest walk, facing the runway. Shower was slow draining, toilet flushes poorly. Bad use of my rewards
- 5/5
close to airport
- 1/5
It was gross. Hair in bed, hair all over bathroom...tub. floor, etc.!!! The Tv came on automatically at 3.a.m and lit up the room. The remote was on dresser so yes, it was automatic. Disruptive and creepy.
- 3/5
Bed too tall, would have liked a footstool to climb in and I’m 5’4”
- 4/5
They've recently upgraded the lobby and bar. Much nicer. My only complaint was that the power outlet on the bedside table didn't work, so I couldn't charge my phone and use it as a clock at the same time.
- 2/5
The room I was in has not been maintained in 30 years. The carpet was so greasy and sticky, I had to put my sheets on the floor to walk on it. The comforter was a vinyl material and very stained -see picture. This did not seem to be a house keeping issue, the bathroom was clean. This is a management and an upkeep issue. I paid $242 a night for this room. Do not stay in this hotel.
- 5/5
A nice restaurant with good food and excellent service is available. And Starbucks brand coffee in their coffee shop, with quick bites for the morning!
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. Clean room!
- 5/5
Highly recommend this spot… exceptional facility and everything has been terrific!
- 4/5
Easily accessible and close to airport.
- 2/5
From elevators out of service to the pool out of service. The whole facility was dirty looking and outstated, which was a super disappointment for a hotel that's $200 a night. 2/10 stars would not recommend.
- 5/5
Very clean and updated.
- 4/5
Excellent, convenient check-in by knowledgeable staff. Convenient shuttle to airport with no waiting. Room location was next to loud elevator. We'll stay there again but not in a room so close to the elevator.
- 2/5
I have stayed here before and this was an incredibly disappointing night. I don’t believe my sheets had been changed… The popcorn ceiling was peeling… Room service brought me the wrong order and could not replace it because the kitchen closed… The heater didn’t work and there was one thin blanket on the bed in Portland in January… But the most upsetting part was that orbitz actually charged me a higher rate than the hotel would have directly… I will never book through Orbitz again.
- 3/5
When we walked in we couldn't find who was to check us in, then when we did she was on the phone and just gave us keys, we had to find the room and our way around, we used the key to get to the pool where it allowed us to, to find a Hazzard of an area that should of been properly blocked off. No clue what time the breakfast was , no information on how to work the tv, toilet didnt flush... but very comfortable bed lol
- 3/5
Fairly average airport hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for an early flight. Everyone was friendly and efficient at their jobs, especially the staff in bar/restaraunt. Shuttle makes it so easy to get to and from PDX.
