Get in and out was pretty nice. I had a pretty spacious room which was nice and it was pretty clean! Would stay there again!

I loved the sparse furnishings. Made it easier to see how spotlessly clean the everything was. I would definitely stay at this motel again if I traveled to Waukegan or other lake towns near Chicago. Very convenient.

Room was relatively clean. Despite positive reviews, hotel is in shady neighborhood. Greeted in the parking lot by a homeless man with a tattooed forehead. Definitely would not recommend staying here if all female traveling group.

Other than that, I'd stay again. Just gotta remember not to buy food, unless it's takeout.

It's a Motel 6. Room was mostly clean (floor was a little dirty), had a hot shower, working TV, and a comfortable bed. Exterior hallway and parking lot were a little tired, but it worked for my needs.

I've been staying here whenever I come to the Chicago area for the last fifteen years, and have seen at least three remodels of this motel. They are always updating and changing and cleaning. It's a great location , and it's very well kept. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and exceptionally well maintained. Given the price, the hotel provides excellent value for money and is very affordable. Wi-Fi and breakfast are also available, making the stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

At night you had someone on staff. Alot of times no one is on duty. You have to call the number in the lobby. I really appreciated having someone.

I didn't like that I booked the room online when I got to the window and they told me I was on do not rent list something that happened for 5 months ago only because I was upset and I kind of argued with the manager at that point they could have gave me a break that was the only money I had and I couldn't get it back so I had to wait two to five business days so I have to stay outside I try to sitay inside to keep warm. and the attendant a dark skin Jamaican man that works the night shift motel 6 prospect heights was very rude and mean with me cruel but she didn't have to be he didn't allow me to not even come inside to warm up every once in awhile he made me stay outside in the cold and whenever I try to come in to ask him please can I come in just to warm up a little bit he just continuously tell me just no stay outside I tried asking questions about the getting the money back and he kept ignoring me saying that's not his problem deal with the people online I thought that was very unprofessional and he was not like that just with me he was like that was many other customers I think he needs to be spoken to by the management and either needs to fix his attitude or he needs to leave the place cuz that is definitely making people not want to come back I also seen roaches in the microwave they had in the in one of the rooms and the place was dirty in and out had I worked there I would have had that place sparkling clean inside and out that makes our rates go up a lot of these people that work that they don't work with fried.

This was a super place to stay for the value. I would definitely stay here again, when visiting the northern suburbs. The nearby sounds from Chicago Executive Airport were easily overcome by sleeping with earplugs. As with most Motel 6s, remember to bring your own shampoo. Check-in was great, and the front-desk staff were friendly and professional. Great selection of channels on the TV.

I had rented a queen size bed when i went to the room it had a double bed. when i was looking for a motel to stay at i wanted one with a continental breakfast, no breakfast just coffee.

Absolutely nothing in the room except towels, washcloths and soap. The entrance is not ADA compliant; had to get ahead of my husband to open the door for him. I chose this hotel because it had good reviews: honestly, I don’t know how! We had to ask for a parking pass that a sign said was required to be in the car. There were some pests, but at that point we were on our last night. The beds were very low and uncomfortable. There were stains on the walls in various areas of the room (from not being cleaned well, not age related). Would not choose to stay again.

I knew that this was a budget friendly morel, but we were very disappointed. This motel needs a renovation. First time when I arrived the hallway on the second floor recked of smoking and urine ( from pets?). It was quite at night. Parking was safe and easy.

Air conditioning was good, shower was clean, free parking, 10$ for early check in. “Cafeteria” had a microwave, however when we were using it saw a cockroach so don’t go if you have a fear of pests. Overall not bad for price. They also have a good ice machine and some vending machines.

This is truly one of the most horrible stays I have ever experienced. I checked in after a very long day of traveling and went to my room to shower and get some sleep. I woke up in the morning to a bed full of bedbugs. When I brought the issue up to the manager Ali and presented him with photos, he said that “he will look into it”. They were only able to provide me with a partial refund and showed absolutely no professionalism handling a very serious matter like this.

This is the worst Motel 6 I've ever stayed at and will not book with Motel 6 ever again. Trash all over the grounds, room was dirty, staff was not welcoming. Shame on you Expedia for even having this motel as an option.

When we checked in, after listening to the clerk argue with someone on the phone for 10 mins we were told our card declined and so we had to pay more money for a double room rather than a single. The room had no shampoo, conditioner, body wash or even hand soap in it. At least a trial size would have been nice. The beds sagged in the middle so it looked like you were going to fall through it. And even though the hotel has No Smoking signs everywhere the hallway REEKED of cigarettes all day and night and even seeped into the room. Someone was clearly smoking in the hallways. The staff were all very nice, the room was clean, but other than that this hotel was not worth the money paid.

Clean room, very nice size and layout, comparable to more expensive hotels. Quiet building, we could tell other people were around and sometimes hear muffled movements above us but no conversations or voices through the walls or anything. The bedding was very comfortable and the king size bed was wonderful. The room seemed very spacious even with the king sized bed. I like that the floors in the bedroom are wood, they seemed very clean. The lighting setup was a little awkward but once we figured it out we liked how much light the lamps gave off and how easy it was to customize the lighting based on which lights we used. My boyfriend did see a small bug in the bathroom but that was the only mildly negative thing. Parking was straightforward and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The building seemed secure, the room doors were substantial with deadbolts in addition to the regular locks, they used keycards to access; they kept track of the cars in the parking lot and seemed to make sure no one was there who wasn't supposed to be. We would definitely stay again, great quality for the price point.

It is a well-located hotel within 8 miles of O'hare Airport. The area feels safe plus there are stores and restaurants nearby. I liked the price and the location. My room did not have carpeting, and it made my stay feel a bit cold and empty.

My front door had trouble closing all the way. Which wasn't good security. The bathroom door didn't close at all. The bathroom fan didnt work at all and a couple items like the lamps for example wasn't in good condition but other than that it was fine.

Staff at this location go above and beyond to accommodate you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I stay at this motel 6 quite often due to my work. So I have gotten to know their names by heart. These are the best employees, Mirjana, Mohammed, Sam, Somar, Ali and overnight ask for Rose. These are the best workers and Managers at the hotel who will help you receive a great room and a great stay

I had a very bad experience here. I specifically booked this room because I had early morning Zoom calls and needed a quiet workspace. However, the internet was not working at all. Since reliable Wi-Fi was the main purpose of my booking, this completely defeated the point of my stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone needing to work remotely.

very disappointed regarding this visit because otherwise I've always really liked this particular Motel 6 ..the reason for my poor review was because when below minus degree frigid weather hit this weekend my heat kept going on and off and on and off and on and off I kept calling down to the front desk and they find me after 1:00 a.m. said I can change rooms but by that time I was exhausted and I also had the flu when I asked for even any kind of perk even tiny bit of discount there was not even the consideration even though I have literally spent thousands of dollars at this particular Motel 6 I did not think it was a good way to treat people who were so loyal to this brand

Con’s: rooms were a 4/10 clean, entire time place smelled like weed was being smoked inside, outside, coming through vents in bathroom. Broken glass on ground in designated pet area. SOOO much dog poop on grass I had to bring my dog somewhere down the road because I there’s not a square yard of grass that didn’t have poop on it (30+ piles). Water leaking in lobby, big puddles, still there the next day. Check-out was a basket on the counter with nobody around, filled with room cards. Building was not secure and anyone could walk right in even side entrances. Side door was propped open when I arrived. Neighborhood didn’t seem dangerous, but hotel guests looked a bit sketchy.

This was rated an 8.0 when I booked and the day of arrival was 8.2. This is the furthest thing from an 8.2. It is probably a solid 4. Marriott properties score a 8.0 and you can’t even compare. Yelp is closer to an accurate 2.3 stars. The parking lot had ‘unhoused people’ sleeping around. People sleeping in their cars. Dimly lit. Smoking marijuana outside, inside and the room smelt horrible. Manager on duty was woke up from the back room and looked like a wreck. Mascara running down her face. ‘Ladies of the night’ were checking into the hotel. Ended up not staying there. Hotels.com needs to change the rating.

When we arrived at the motel at 8:30pm to check in, they refused to honor the original reservation because it was cancelled. They said they cancelled it because we did not show up by 6pm (even though check in window is 3pm-3am per Expedia) The only option they gave us was to book a different room and pay extra because it was last minute. The room had no refrigerator, the beds were uncomfortable, and the cleaning staff did not come once in the 3 days we were there. We will not be staying here again 👎

The property was easy to get to from Ohare but very drivable for anything. I wanted to see in the area. It was clean and clearly taken care of, the room was large and comfortable, and the staff were very nice!

The management was nice but said there are no refunds ever for any reason. “There will never be a refund from Motel 6”. He did tell me to call Expedia and was nice but management could have taken care of this much earlier.

Very quick check in the clerk was very helpful and giving me all the information needed.

Pretty good for the price

I was really surprised by this hotel. It was very clean and roomy. The area was very safe and the staff was very helpful.

This used to be my go-to affordable stay in the Chicago suburbs, however this time was different. Within 48 hours I killed EIGHT roaches. Other than that the stay was pleasant and quiet, and generally clean, and the staff are kind and professional, but I will not be back. Also there was someone sleeping outside on the ground against the back wall of the hotel. As far as the roach problem is concerned, I do not think it is going to be effective for them to just treat individual rooms given the severity of the infestation. They really need to shut the place down for an entire day and fumigate the entire thing and reopen the next day.

You get what you pay for - and it was well worth what we paid. You want amenities you can pay more; but when you are on a budget this is the place - it is clean enough, the staff is helpful enough etc, but do your planning i.e. you need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/shower cap/plastic bag for your laundry etc, if you need a hairdryer bring one. Bring enough chargers as there are no USB ports. They DO have a couple handicapped accessible rooms with extra space/shower chair etc.

Good stay overall as usual, my first stay on the 3rd floor which was good, upon checking out this morning before heading to work, there was a roach in the bathroom and also a spider on the wall by the sink, not a big deal, not going to make a big fuss about the discovery but other than that was a Good stay.

But guess your not allowed more then one roll of tp a day or something. Gave us the other roll and said it’s all she could give us. I definitely do not plan on staying there again nor honestly any motel 6 again.

Great and comfortable stay

First time in my life I’ve ever experienced roaches in a hotel. So bummed.

I'd say my stay was comfortable, We checked in sleep and we checked out , whatelse would anyone need for a motel

Overall for the price it was good. Stayed 3 nights and housekeeping didnt stop in. After 2nd night stopped at front desk and asked that someone stop in the room that day and nonone showed up.

This hotel was good for what you pay for it. It was near some restaurants, which was nice. The parking was easy, and check in was simple. We didn't encounter any hidden fees and our doggie traveling with us was no issue. Loved that. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the pillows were good. Shower pressure was amazing. The only issues we had were the satellite or cable kept going out, even in clear weather. And the floor was still dirty, even though we smelled a lot of bleach when we first entered the room. Our feet were pretty dirty from just walking around the room. There also wasn't a microwave or small fridge, or a safe or drawers. So bring your cooler! There's an ice machine in the lobby, so that's helpful. The area had a nice lil outdoor spot with doggy bags to take out your fur baby. It felt relatively safe there as well. There is kind of a musty smell, I'm not sure where it's coming from. Maybe the HVAC? It's not just an old building smell. But it wasn't overwhelming. I didn't see bugs or anything on the bed or in the room. The sheets were clean too. Pretty quiet area except for the road going by. Worth it and decent for a cheaper hotel!

Was charged some hidden fee for arriving after 6pm?!? Asked for extra pillows and was told they didn't have any. Toilet ran all night. Bed was uncomfortable. No breakfast.

I will always remember the reception lady who had teary eye, I asked her if she was ok, she said she was. I was sad all night. She was kind but I was concerned. They did clean outside trash as well the morning. Overall, they care about their guests.

My overall experience review is: I would stay at another property managed/run by this staff again, and I probably won’t stay at this particular hotel again.

Staff is always nice and convenient and understanding

I stay here while remodeling my home for sale. Very friendly and professional staff. Housekeeping is very thorough. Nice lunch room with good coffee. While work is currently ending on the roof, staff went out of their way to ensure guests were not inconvenienced. In short, high quality at good price.

There was supposedly free internet, but we were never able to connect and had the weakest signal. The bed was uncomfortable and you could feel the individual springs.

Thankful we found this gem located right outside Chicago for our group’s trip. Staff was accomodating and friendly.

For the price you pay, it's okay. Room was decent, clean but cant say same for washroom. There were still hairs on the tub. No hair dry, no shampoo/conditioner. Towels some had stains. But then considering the price, it is what it is. Staff were friendly and nice though. Overall, good for a few days or stop over stay.

My wife and I booked the room with a Jacuzzi tub and very disappointed. The tub took over an hour and a half to fill. When we checked out and spoke with the manager he was aware of the problem and continues to offers this room to guests. He was very aware that the faucet was not working properly. Manager blamed the problem on not being able to find faucets that work for their jacuzzi tub. A heads up that the faucet wasn’t working correctly would have been much appreciated.

Very helpful staff. Housekeeping does a thorough, 25 minute, cleaning. Nice lunch room with good coffee.
