Super 8 by Wyndham Redmond

Parking is a little on the short side but we were helped with the issue. All employees were very helpful. Carpet a little on the soiled side but room was ok. Breakfast wasn’t huge but very sufficient.

We notified staff again, and a front desk associate arrived with another key and deadbolt keys, but access was still unsuccessful. The staff member informed us that she did not have the appropriate keys to open the door and needed to contact maintenance. At that time, we were on the second floor, outside our room, in the hallway, wearing wet swimsuits and a towel. The associate explained that a staff member had lost the keys and that management was aware but had not yet replaced the keys and that management was the only personnel with spare keys. Since it was the weekend, management was unavailable, but maintenance was en route to assist us. I expressed concern about the lack of available keys and the potential risk in an emergency situation where access could be critical. The associate apologized and continued to assist us. When the maintenance technician arrived, he used specialized equipment to unlock the door, discovering that a wire had become disconnected, which caused the issue. This process delayed our checkout and departure by approximately one hour. Throughout the experience, staff appeared to be unconcerned. I

What was exceptional is the staff. Ashley and Jeniffer were stand outs. I have not had this type of customer experience in years. their rapport and helpfulness was the best I've experienced. It made me rebook with them. The shuttling to the airport was very helpful and part of my first reason that I chose this location but I returned there in a couple days to finish my trip to go back home and went back because of the staff. I think having a little more comfortable chair in the room so that I could read more comfortably would have been nice.

Was the perfect place to crash for a couple of days. It’s an older establishment but staff was amazing! And we were able to have our Birder Collie with us without having to pay and arm and a leg.

Easy location to get to. While right off the highway, the room was really quiet with no noise from outside or from neighbors. It was convenient and clean! Exactly what I needed at a fair price!

Staff member was excellent, very helpful with arranging parking while away for the weekend, as well as shuttle to airport. Very good communication and customer service filthy carpet in hallways, not like need vaccumed, like needed replaced 5 years ago. Bad smell in hall, covered by heavily room fresheners, so heavy and chemically it gave me a headache., the room was OK.

Our plane was delayed so never made it to the hotel. Called and told them. The hotel said to call where we booked to get a refund. Could not find where to call so was charged. The hotel staff was kind. I still don’t know how to get ahold of anyone to report we would not make it. I won’t book through hotel. Com again, but only call the hotel itself to book.

Great stay. Beds were great. Hot tub was wonderful.

Uncomfortable beds, front desk lady Sandy was complaining how long she had to work. And was mean and grumpy to us. The shower had hair in it. The pool was dirty and dirty towels everywhere. I do not recommend this hotel.

Used indoor pool with my son and had a relaxing time.

The staff was amazing. We had an early flight and she made sure we had a wake up call, and prepared us a nice breakfast bag to take with us. So thoughtful and we truly appreciated it.

Ashleigh/Ashley was amazingly helpful helping me out with a late check out after a crazy Memorial Day weekend. There is a store next door, and the property is nice and secure. Thanks again, Super 8 staff.

Fairly clean but not updated. Old linens and the bathroom was in rough shape. Jacuzzi was crowded and small.

From the moment I walked through the front door, I was greeted with a genuine smile and a friendly “hello” from Joanne. Places need more Joanne’s in their workplace. She is a keeper. She should teach customer service to others.

Ashley at the front desk was fantastic, and the shuttle service worked really well. The property was decent overall. The bed in my room wasn’t very comfortable, but for a value hotel it still met my needs.

The super 8 is a great value for the cost. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly and efficient, and the location convenient. The basics are there if not the luxury.

I arrived very late at night after traveling. Jae was super helpful and made sure I had a nice quiet room to sleep in. Easy check out in the morning, along with a quick breakfast.

The only thing I can complain about is the parking, although I got my handicap parking in the morning when I came out to move my truck there was always a big pickup truck cross park right behind me making it very hard to pull out I don't think that should be allowed.

They were amazing and very accommodating. They made sure we had shuttle service to and from the hotel even though we forgot to reserve it in advance. They also made us to go bags for breakfast even though we were leaving prior to breakfast time. Jae was awesome!

Wheel not stay at this place again. This is the second time we stayed and have had issues. First time was dogs barking all night and day. And now this.

The room was filthy. Carpet, bathroom, bedding stunk so bad. Refrigerator didn’t work . Air conditioner smelled like mold when used for fan or heat . The only good thing was the front desk help. Noise complaint from multiple rooms finally was tended to at 11pm.

Parking is limited, repairs needed to carpets. Elevator smells musty. I could see thru the gap in Door into room. Didn’t make me feel secure. Our room space was small. Refrigerator either partially froze our food or was warm. We adjusted the temperature but it was no help. Our toilet backed up 1st day. Our bed was uncomfortable.

Room wasn’t in the best up-keep, nor the cleanest. And the tv kept glitching.

Easy 5 minutes to the Dechutes County Fairgrounds. Simple hotel with AWESOME staff. Basic breakfast included, washing machines available, well worth the stay when passing through or for a an easy stay and short walk to the the fairground. A+ for friendly, helpful STAFF.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very welcoming, especially Joanne, who made our experience even better. The hotel was fully booked on the day we visited, so parking was a bit challenging, but overall we had a wonderful time

Breakfast had plenty of options. The bed was comfortable. I appreciate the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel as I hadn’t reserved a car until the next day. They gave me shuttle service back to the airport, so I could pick up a rental car.

When we arrived the check in staff were nice. The property parking had people hanging out in lawn chairs drinking, we brushed it off and went to find our room. We got to our room and instantly smelt urine and mildew type of smell, but thought maybe it was because the AC was not on. We turned the AC on, which also smelt pretty strong of mildew but tried to make the best of it as it was a later check in and we had our anniversary close to the hotel the next day. We barely made it through the night between all of the outdoor activity happening in the parking lot (which I understand the hotel can’t control), both my husband and I were extremely congested and coughing and the smell of urine/mildew only got worse. We kept all our bags on a high table and decided when we woke up in the morning we couldn’t stay another night (our anny night) and asked to check out a day early to just drive home. We explained the conditions as to why we couldn’t do another night and the front desk said they had to wait for a manager to arrive to approve a refund for us checking out early, so we went on a walk after packing up our car and returned to find out the manager wasn’t coming in that day, so she said she personally could approve us getting a refund for the second night. We contacted Expedia about the situation and they’ve been nothing but amazing trying to get us a refund, but now the manager at the hotel is saying they won’t refund our second night. So beyond frustrating!

The staff is the most friendliest, helpful and answer any questions I had. Also, very much enjoy the breakfast that was included with our stay. Calm and quiet. Not far from Bend or Sisters .

The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The front desk staff that checked us in was great. We asked for an extra towel and we had to come down to grab it. The location seemed safe. Right near the airport as well as only 2 min drive from the lava tube caves. Breakfast in the morning was just prepackaged bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal and a make your own pancake station. Decent breakfast.

Very convenient for golf trip we were on and had all the amenities we needed.

The staff are very welcoming. Check-in was fast. Morning staff gave us breakfast bag to go because we left early morning. The shuttle driver was promptly on time for pickup and helpful. The room was clean. Only one small problem: the room was slightly cold, so I tried to turn on the heater. But the air came out of the heater smell like urine. There was dry residue on the heater surface. I turned off the heater and opened the window to air out the small.

Key card to the room kept failing and had to go to the front desk for a reset several times. It was inconvenient..

Basic average property met the need of the time

It was close to the event that we were attending. Price was reasonable. All handicap spaces were full, but your manager moved her car so we could be closer to the entrance. She was very accommodating to our needs it was very much appreciated. Thank you!

Specifically Jae we t above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we nwmeeded. Jae takes pride in her job and is a needle in the haystack.

Very nice staff, but I paid for what I got. It’s very basic but for such a low price I didn’t expect it to be top notch. We slept good!

We decided to try Super 8 for the price based on positive comments in reviews. While not luxury it was clean, new carpet, new bathroom shower (very clean), new bathroom floor. Typical simple breakfast options that were available starting at 6am, and a free shuttle arranged to get to the airport.

Dirty and worn out tape holding bedside counter top on and sticky the sheets were dirty and stained the floor was dirty and worn out and no usb charging port to be found but the front desk gal was super nice and loaned me one.

The staff were great and courteous. Definitely recommended.

Was absolutely amazing but didnt expect our mini fridge to freeze our drinks while we were out at the beaver city Comicon at the fairgrounds. It was a surprise but a pleasant surprise. Only disappointment was parking in back had to still walk all the way around to the front to enter the building as the door closest to applebees side of building would not respond to either one of our keys.

For the price it wasn’t as nice as it could have been, they tried to charge my card for $200 extra as well and I had to dispute it with them.

Office staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Housekeeping staff do a perfect job - room very clean and no problems. Outside grounds well maintained with good parking. Also grab & go breakfast is a definite plus. Over all Super 8 in Redmond was an A+++.

Carpet really needs replaced, no smoking room had burn marks in carpet. Bathroom floor had small cut marks. Crumbs in bed frame, other then that was pretty clean. Staff is as really nice.

We were first put in to a "pet" room. The rugs were dirty, the chair arms were chewed up and the toilet seat had a chunk out of it. The lady on duty did move us to another room but the carpets still need to be replaced. The furnishings in general were pretty shabby. Not the quality of motels we are accustomed too. We will be more careful in choosing our places to stay in the future.

Good place to stay

Just needed a cheap place to spend the night near airport for a 5am flight. This fit the bill. Wouldn’t really have liked to stay longer. Room clean and fine. Used pool/hot tub—also fine. Thankful for free roll away cot for child (thin mattress uncomfortable even for her). Convenient to airport.

Took me over 30 minutes to check into my room when I got to my room it was disgusting and the refrigerator did not work. They assured me that they would replace the refrigerator by the time I got back from dinner. I got back from dinner. There were five police men in the parking lot and another one in the lobby. There was some kind of confrontation with about 10 people in the parking lot. My refrigerator had not been replaced. I told them I did not feel safe, staying there and asked for a refund which I did not get. I left anyway and went and found a safe comfortable motel for the night.

I felt one of the counter girls was not very friendly.

Rooms were clean and comfy beds. I expected more for the breakfast. It was more a continental type breakfast except with cereal and pancakes. Not a full breakfast at all. Was a bit disappointed in that. Luckily there are lots of places nearby if you want to spend extra money.

Took a long time to get checked in.

Room smelled like a cat sprayed and someone vomited on the carpet. Homeless people sleeping by the dumpster. Everything is dated and people smoking weed in the rooms. I will never stay here again
