Redmond Inn

I attended a music festival in Redmond and the Redmond INN was available and near the fairgrounds. The price was great and thought I wouldn’t spend much time there anyway. My flight was delayed and wasn’t able to get checked in until after 1:00 am. I called and spoke to a very nice man who said he would be there when I arrived. Very polite and get me checked in right away. I started to have second thoughts only because the place is older and a road side Motel. But to my surprise, when I entered the room and it extremely clean and well maintained. The bed was nice, the sheets were clean, smelled clean and comfortable. What a nice surprise and kinda a little sleeper and nostalgia. I stayed four night and always felt safe and relaxed, easy walk to coffee and the grocery store. Thanks for making my last minute trip so enjoyable and carefree.

Hard bed, hard pillows, otherwise a standard economy motel.

Excellent for just passing through traveling. Right off the highway. Park by your room. Grab a bite in the morning and go.

+ the two chairs provided are VERY COMFORTABLE! I considered sleeping in them except they roll so as one can imagine keeping them tightly together would have been challenging! + The room was neat and basically clean so I was confused as to why the ants were in the bathroom and the entryway area. I had some spray with me so took care of them. But this should have been my sign! + there is plenty of nice HOT water and good water pressure- beware kids or people with little feeling could burn themselves. + the tub is a nice long tub, but if you want a bath you will need to figure out away to plug the drain. But if you are a shower person, you should enjoy the shower. + the fridge kept things cold- definitely check the bobbin the back, as my fridge was set on max. The freezer part works… it had a great buildup of ice, see photo. + Tv is nice sized, the cable/ whatever forum that provides the channels was glitchy; it was like when I watched my grandpas old Tube TV- waved, rolled, and glitched. + microwave works The attendant at the office was my first sign that this was not like the reviews said… she was not at all friendly. Light coming in through the top of the curtains woke me up at 0545 A.M., see photo. It wasn’t great sleep for a number of reasons: * bed so hard I would say sleeping on the floor might have been softer, but there was a half inch give to the mattress. Seriously half inch. * Could hear the room above us when they moved around their room. * The odor in our room was a cross between musty and mold. I think the vent on the AC may need changing/ cleaning so that may contribute to the odor. Huge headache and nausea are the end result.

Convenient, rooms was quiet. Bed was a little too firm for me. A 2”topper would have been just right.

The sheets had other people's hair and skin flakes on them, Obviously the sheets were Not changed... Disgusting, and disappointing, because prior experiences there had been good.

lots of hot water for the shower...room was always cleaned when I got back to the room...the bed was comfortable. A little harder than what I prefer, but slept very well. I drink alot of coffee and I like it strong, they brought me extra coffee pillows were skinny and pretty hard...

The manager and his wife were so friendly and very helpful. Next time we head to Bend Or we will be staying at Redmond Inn. Very nice people and looking forward to our next stay! The Latimer Family!!

Older motel, clean and comfortable. Minimal breakfast. Convenient

The Redmond Inn was a very nice very affordable. Very clean place to stay on our trip. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and very informative. I recommend it probably a eight or nine out of 10.

Parking was very good. We didn't stay for breakfast had to get on the road. I like our room had a kitchen that was cool. I like the set up of the room too. At my age a room on the ground floor is very good.

Great value for the cost. Would recommend. Mattresses are a bit dated and you might want to bring your own breakfast.

I gave it a five across the board for the value. If you don't want to pay $300 a night for a room this is it. Clean and 5 minutes from the convention center and airport.

A real rat hole.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. They had hot coffee, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, bananas, and pastries for breakfast. I would stay again.

I was very happy with my stay there my truck was right out front and safe I was located right by the schools that the tournament was at all the shops I needed to go to were right within almost walking distance. I was totally surprised that there was a refrigerator and microwave along with coffee pot for the price that I paid will definitely recommend and stay there again if I'm in Redmond

The staff was great. The gentleman at the service desk was very friendly, and super helpful. However the hotel isnt your frills hotel, which I knew when booking, I only needed a bed for my stay. However the bed was HORRIBLE. And the fridge in the room would make a loud noise every time it would need to chill it, which was about every 20 minutes. So this in combo with the horrible bed and loud road noise made it impossible to get a good night sleep.

The bed was awful.... i dont think it could have been any harder if we'd slept on the floor.

The continental breakfast consisted of basically microwavable oatmeal, dry cereals, and a banana. The rooms were clean, you could tell there was some remodeling that had been done. The caulking in the bathroom was yellow, and the tub was white, and there was mold in the corners. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful

Check in staff was kind of rude.For some reason me card did not go through the first time she yelled out your card is declined.i ran it again it was fine. No apology for a mistake I had nothing to do with will not stay here again.

Receptionist did not understand that the price I was quoted was for a room with two beds. I had a received a discount with my reservation, and it caused confusion regarding the room I paid for. We were able to switch rooms, however.

Great stay

We were in town to go rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park. This was a nice hotel at a less expensive price. It wasn't fancy or high end, but the beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom was clean, there was a small microwave and refrigerator and it's walking distance to a grocery store. It met all our needs for the night. It's likely I will stay here in the future.

The staff at check in was wonderful. The room was clean, but regulating the temperature was challenging. Easy parking and right off the main highway.

The rooms are modest, but clean. The highlight was the shower—excellent water pressure and nice and hot! Better than at home! I was worried there wouldn’t be a fridge, but there was a full kitchenette! Obviously, it’s not the Ritz, but perfect for Redmond!

At first glance our room was OK. Seemed clean enough and comfortable as older hotel rooms go. Upon closer look, we found a few bugs in the bathroom and on the beadspread. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were like sleeping on bricks. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper and there were holes in the washclothes. I guess overall the place was just OK, since we weren't in our room very much. However, I WOULD NOT stay there again.

It is an older hotel. It was expensive the night we stay but it was cheaper than the other hotels with ratings of 7 and 8. I liked the vinyl plank floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is close to a main road but once inside, it didn't bother us. We would stay again.

Nothing special here. It's your basic, traditional mo-tel, well maintained.

We had a really nice stay at the motel. The room was clean, and everything felt well-kept and cared for. It was in a convenient spot right off the highway and super close to this great chinese restaurant. The front desk person was super helpful, and the place seemed more affordable than some of the other options in town.

The room I stayed in is evidently being updated, but not finished. The bathroom was nice and updated, the doors and molding were heavily damaged. Curtains, furniture, lighting (dim), and bedspread needs updating. But it was very clean and I appreciate it.

Excellent all around. Motel and room were very clean… close to airport and downtown. Breakfast was just right to eat and go. Staff was friendly… really reasonable - only $120 / night! Would certainly stay there again when visititing family in Redmond!!!

The most positive thing I can say is that it was clean. It is advertised as having breakfast, nothing that I would eat. Save your money and book elsewhere.

What a lovely room I had. It was like a full little apartment. Very cozy. It gave me a happy feeling. Parking was easy. Breakfast was simple but very nice. I'll be back!

Although the room was spacious and the personnel were gracious, i would probably bot stay here again. The bed was creaky, the pullows were hard. The train whistle at 2am sounded like it was going through the room. The Hwy 97 road noise was loud. And not the fault of the Inn, the car lot next door had a personnel issue and set off an alarm that started at 5pm and stayed on all night long and was still going when we left at 9:30 am the next morning. The breakfast was minimal and the pool was closed (in the middle of July!). It was very hard to cross the highway to get to the Inn.

Nothing at all was nice! Front desk lady was Rude and for $200. bucks a night and $200 cash only deposit, so $400 bucks a night is a bit out of control!!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I ended up being really pleasantly surprised by this place. The room was spotless, the bed was genuinely comfortable, and everything felt clean and cared for. The staff was friendly and the check-in was smooth. It’s a no-frills kind of stay, but it had everything I needed for a quiet and restful night. Great value for the price!

Older hotel, reasonably priced. Clean, comfortable beds. All we needed. I'd stay again in a minute. Downtown boutique hotels were on season at $400/nt, fun but $160 was way better.

Overall, I had a really nice stay at the Redmond Inn! The room was comfortable, clean, and I especially appreciated the great shower water pressure. The included breakfast didn’t have a ton of options, but it was still good and enough to start the day. I also liked how affordable and conveniently located it was—close to stores and restaurants we enjoy. One downside was not being able to switch the TV input to use our Nintendo Switch, so we were limited to regular cable. Still, for the price and convenience, it was definitely worth it. I’d stay here again!

Room was about what you’d expect for the price, nothing fancy. It was just me and my 10 month old, so you can imagine he crawled and explored all over. His hands and feet were black from being on the floor :/ the room cleaning left a lot to be desired! Also, the towels needed replaced at least a year ago…

The room was very clean and had all the basics. Even had a little coffee maker. The cleaning service daily was fantastic.

It is right off the highway with all the restaurants nearby. However, when I turned on Jacuzzi I side my room, it throws away lot of black dirt into the tub. I ended up not using it. There is a weird smell in the room but not bad. When I went for breakfast they have the expired milk which I have to throw away and decided to skip the breakfast altogether.

My partner and I stayed here during a convention we were vending at. Though it’s right on the highway, the hotel is extremely quiet. The cleanliness of the room is excellent. Our biggest and only complaint is the bed. The mattress was very uncomfy and the pillows were so flat our arms kept losing circulation throughout the night.

For a Motel/Inn type this place is beyond what we were expecting. Room is clean, carpet free, everything in the room works. Water pressure top notch. They did have breakfast but we never had the chance to try it.

Traffic noise in levels 2 and 3.

Older but comfortable. Pretty clean. Needs new pillows and bedspreads do not go with decor. But there is a homeless man nearby who shouts every morning about 5-6am. Not great. But when he is not shouting or telling the frogs to shut up, the sound of the frogs at night is very soothing.

Considering it was on a busy street it was very quiet. Perfect for the one night!

The hotel is a great option when convenience to the airport is needed. It is quiet despite its proximity, yet it took less than 10 minutes to drive to the hotel, drop off a rental car, and check my bags for an early morning flight. The man at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and courteous, and it was convenient to have the mini fridge and microwave in the room.

Office staff were very friendly, room super quiet. Only there 1 night, bed was very hard and pillows flat. For one night it was doable.

I found my room adequate, however, the bathroom counter was covered in dust. Also, the heating unit worked but I had to fold the window curtain up as was in the way of air coming out. Rm 209.

Traffic noise is so loud, it's like the door is made of rice paper. There was a spilled white claw beside the bed when we arrived. The internet "password " is bogus, cannot connect. Waaaay overpriced at $165/night. Do not stay here. (We booked sight unseen based on reviews and will never do that again!)
