The location was central A little small for the hotels in the area

In general the Redondo Inn and Suites was fine. The room was small but it most of the required features. The bed wasn't that great. I'd rate it a 3 because it was too soft. The mattress was of poor quality, apparently made with metallic springs. The shower spray was minimal, with barely enough water to take a shower. However the tv and other furnishings were fine.

Street noise

The price was amazing for the amazing quality and cleanliness of the room.

Only thing missing was an iron and ironing board. The bathroom has a smell but once we opened the window it was gone. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The room hadn’t been updated in decades. Paint completely missing on the edge of the front door and bathroom soon. Door knobs were barely functional. Outlets were 3’ off the floor without any shelf or nightstand in the entire room. Upstairs renter came in at 1:30am and proceeded to clomp around the room, flushing toilets and turning the A/C fan off and on until I finally got out of bed at 4am. Very noisy place. Don’t bring a large vehicle, the parking lot won’t accommodate you.

The room was super clean as it had recently been remodeled with shower, sink vanity and carpet.

I stayed in a renovated room. It was spacious, clean, with no odors, comfortable bed and clean towel. Close to beach.

Too expensive for the old hotel, the picture doesn’t match with reality. Dirty room, nasty bathroom. Everything disgusting, I stayed one night only because I can’t stand the smell of mold, dust hanging over the walls,rusting shower head,noise all night long I think from the plumbing pipes. Driving around I found other hotels better than that for the same price or less.

Power went out multiple times - the room was so hot I went downstairs and they were standing in the parking lot - I told them there was no power -they were waiting for the electrician so i had to move my stuff on the other side of the motel - in the middle of the night in the dark I am missing my digital camera which they said they would ask housekeeping. Knew I left it but they didn’t return it

The beds are so comfortable, very clean room and just so nice with good parking . Check in was very easy and the reception was so helpful . I arrived early to check in as I live out of town and was able to check in earlier than the check in time. Will definitely be back and will stay again very soon PCH .. the traffic but loved the hotel

Clean rooms The construction

The outside of the property Don't be fooled by the outside. Yes the guy at the counter was nice. BUT BUT, once we walked into our room, lord looked like a 70's porn set. Old banged up furniture, couch sat real low with stains and cigarette burns. Base boards and door trims were badly scuffed and gouges in them. Beds were very uncomfortable, could feel and hear the springs as you sat on them. A/C was extremely louder than normal. Water pressure was very low in shower, shampoo/Body wash holders were empty. Had to hold up the toilet seat to take a leak. Front room sheer curtain was torn like a cat got ahold of it. Front door weather seal was missing, cold air/light and noise came through and you could almost see through the door crack because the weather seal wasn't there. Then had to call the police at 4:30am because 2 guys below us decided to fight and cause one guy to get knocked out. Also seems the hotel houses a few homeless people. So needless to say WE WON'T EVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

Perfect location and at a great price! Located in a very nice area and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, pier, and a lot of other shops and restaurants! Rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this hotel!!!!

Remodeled room. Extremely clean with comfortable king bed. Negative was traffic noise but that wasn’t the hotels fault. Bring ear plugs. Price was cheap for the area. Free parking was a pkus!

Coffee available in the main lobby and lots of coupons for tours. Close enough to the beach (about a 7 minute walk) and shopping (walgreens,dominos, liquor store, restaurants all within a 5 minute walk) Right on the pacific coast highway so you are about a 15 minute walk from a little area with a grocery store, trader joes, restaurants (lots of mexican places and great little spots) 10/10 highly recommend

This is the best place to stay in Redondo Beach or Torrance. A family run accommodation whom are super friendly, accomodating and thoughtful. Our check in was super easy. The room was immaculate. You can park right next to your room and the location is walking distance from everything you need. Highly recommend!

Bed is very hard. No elevator, so desk person had to carry my luggage upstairs since there were no further rooms on the ground floor. He did say if I would have mentioned that I needed a ground floor room when booking they could have done that. I just didn’t realize that the place did not have an elevator.

The motel met my expectations, especially for the price. It was great for an overnight place to sleep...I didn't really need anything but a clean, comfortable and safe place with a helpful staff and this place fit the bill.

Great location. Beds were comfortable and they were very good to us as we arrived early and dropped our luggage off before heading out for the day. Really close to the beach walkway which was very nice to see. Lots of restaurants to choose from about a 20 minute walk away.

This is the best little hotel in Redondo Beach. Easy 3-block walk to the beach and on along the strand to The Pier. Noah, the manager was really really nice and so accommodating for our requests. We will be back!

Could never sleep because the walls are so thin and you could hear snoring next door the whole night. The staff were horrible and dishonest.

Cons: There was only one bedside table, and no table or desk. Three of the four electrical outlets beside the bed did not work. The bathroom towel bar fell off the wall when the towel was removed. There was no switch plate cover on the bathroom light switch. Both the a/c unit and the refrigerator in the room rattled loud enough to disturb sleep. (We took photos but are unable to upload them.) The coffee in their lobby was like sludge and the creamer was disturbingly separated. We tossed it and had coffee at the restaurant. While we didn't expect it to be a destination hotel, the online reviews are way more complimentary than our experience. Perhaps don't let them give you Room 104.

Quick and easy check in. convent location for our event. Place was somewhat old but still pretty clean. room a little worn out but comfy.

Bath towels should be retired. Tiny miniature bars of soap. Manager was very courteous, approachable and professional. I’m glad I stayed. I brought my own towel & soap. I was safe and the bed was comfortable. Thank you!

This hotel is a good choice near the beach, 3 blocks, and walking distance to dining. Nothing fancy but room has TV, micro and coffee maker. Parking on the property. Thai dishes restaurant is next to the hotel with very good food.

We just needed a quick overnight stay. They had a family friendly pool and we could park near our room. Fairly new paint, clean and comfortable bed. Not much for personal care items but what they had, smelled good. Thank you for keeping your rooms affordable so close to the water!

Older hotel. Ok for a night or 2ax. Nothing special for amenities, no pool or hot tub, weight room or amyrning ro be honest. It was pretty plain Jane.

The little Thai place next door is amazing. I wish the guy at the front desk had told me I needed to plug in the fridge--I learned that the next morning when I saw that the milk I had brought was not cold. The bathtub did not hold water too well--it would fill but then would immediately start emptying. My stay was very nice and the room was very nice. It was quiet and felt like a safe place. The parking lot was well-lit at night and I was always able to park near my room, which I appreciated. I felt the front desk was responsive to requests and when I needed to extend my stay by one day they were helpful with that. I loved the location (3 blocks from a beach with public access--on Topaz) and there were lots of nice places to eat within walking distance. I liked the scale of the property--two stories and not too many rooms. I would stay there again.

We stayed one night, it was a fine experience. Amenities were pretty basic for the price, but when you consider that its in Redondo beach, the price is fair I suppose. Parking is easy. Within walking distance to the beach.

We were going on a cruise, leaving out of Long Beach with six other couples wanted to find a place to stay that was safe and clean and preferred not to stay in Long Beach because we didn’t think we would find something like that available. Redondo is a beautiful area by the beach And we really weren’t expecting much from the hotel. Just wanted it to be clean. The hotel it’s staff overall cleanliness exceeded all of our expectations. I would definitely give Redondo in and suites a five star rating for the age it is in it definitely exceeded our expectations and don’t get me wrong. It’s a old hotel, but for the price and location it’s perfect.

Everything was ok. Did not like how stiff the mattress was. It was not comfortable, very hard to sleep on.

The Inn is cute, its clean and well kept. It was so close to the beach so my family and i took a nice qalk to the beach at night. Looooved that. I loved that they had the option of a suit because we are a family of 6 and 3 beds were perfect. The only tiny negative thing id say, would be that they do not offer enough towels in the room. They only had 2 towes and they gave us 2 little tiny portions if shampoo and conditioner. Youd think that for a suite, they would provide more. Either way, we really enjoyed our stay and slept really comfortable.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and it’s in a great location where I could walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Parking can be a little tight but that’s indicative of the entire South Bay. I was glad that there were two beds even though I was by myself, I found one much more comfortable than the other.

Very good room for the price/location. Having a junior suite, with a separate bedroom allowed a "snore-door" which helped out, since I am reportedly a loud sleeper. Not on the beach, but close enough.

Stay was fine. I am not a fan of how many times I get charged and having to watch my account to wait for charges to be reversed

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small and have a bit of a musty smell. But the hotel is in a fabulous location within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. The on-site free parking was a huge plus!

The manager of the unit does not allow guests even though it is not mentioned in the listing. I tried to Talk to the manager when my girlfriend showed up but he was having it. He was combative and tried to gas light even there was no mention of no guests in the listing or website. The front desk manager was hostile and aggressive and refused to listen and refused to work things out in civil manner. This ruined my trip. Beware of this place. Side note: the listing does not state that they charge $100 for security deposit. Worst place ever…

Not the largest hotel room ever; I cannot imagine being in there with another person to be honest. However, it was clean and comfortable, and the people that worked there were cool and efficient. Easy to park. So, realistically, the place did it’s job perfectly

It was quiet during the day but we could hear our neighbor yawning and snoring at night. The room was nice. The place is pretty close to the beach

Parking lot always had spots open, and street parking right in front of the motel was also available. Room was very clean, and staff friendly. Windows had excellent sound-proofing, however the door was not sealed, so that is the weak point for noise intrusion from the noisy main street during rush hours.

Exceptional stay at this lovely motel. good location only a few blocks from the beach. very clean. suite is 2 bedrooms separated by a door so each room is quiet. the customer service at front desk was exceptional. they very kindly moved our room from second floor to first floor when we told them that i had hip injury and difficulty climbing the stairs. the only first floor suite available was actually an upgrade and they provided this to us without additional fee due to problem with climbing stairs. i highly recommend this hotel. when you book the suite, it is a true 2 room suite, two completely separated rooms with a door between, unlike many others that advertize a suite and then when you arrive you find it is only one room with a divider. thank you to the managers of this exceptional property. we had an amazing time. in addition the beds were truly comfortable and the rooms were immaculate.

It was a great place for the money. It was clean, perfectly located near the beach for bike riding. Good parking. The only thing was the bed was not very comfortable . But everything else was great. Would stay again.

The hotel was nice for the price. The room was all together pretty clean, the only thing I would say is they need more detailed cleaning. The shower head was rusted, and the drain in sink smelled. Also, this was not a big deal but it didn’t have an alarm clock lol or an iron. The man at desk when we got there was very nice. My best friend dropped a gift for me before I arrived so he was very helpful with that. The lady that was at the desk a few days later not so much. My husband actually needed an iron so he went to office and she looked like she had no clue what he was talking about lol. He asked the ladies cleaning the room and she went right into the office and grabbed it. The cleaning ladies were also very nice and helpful.

I usually stay here when visiting family in Redondo. Close to beach and restaurants, decent price. Refrigerator, micro, coffee maker, and television.

The attendant was nice. Allowed us to check in early. Room was tidy and small but enough for only staying one night. Many restaurants around the area to choose from. The beach had to have been about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Would likely come back if I wanted to stay in that area of LA again!

I have stayed here a few times and have had not issues. My recent stay the only negative thing I could say is the hot water was hard to come by and the water pressure was very low.

It’s a great, affordable accommodation that is near the beach and some good dining options. Staff was nice and fast. Queen room was small and one of the most basic rooms I’ve ever been in. A couple renovations might be nice. Just a thought. It was clean. I liked the bathroom except that it had a runny, extremely weak flush toilet. That’s one thing I hate about motels. I want a nice, well-functioning toilet. We will be coming back to stay again soon.

The place as clean but not what I was expecting. Looks like they’ve worked on updating, but we could hear everything they the walls and having the only window open on to the parking lot sucked. I’m not surprised considering the price.
