Clean, safe, affordable, walking distance to a very nice beach and pier, friendly staff

Very rude , called us at 3 in the Morning to tell us to turn off the tv , added a9$ fee to my card for what I have no idea, only thing good about this place is that it’s close to the beach . I actually could not believe it could not go back to sleep. Completely out of line. I’ve been going there along time but think it’s time to find a nice spot that actually offers coffee in the morning

Hotel has AC and parking included. All about location. Several restaurants nearby, and the pier is a short walk. Room was renovated, but already showing wear, especially the bathroom. Cable and premium channels, but no coffee or coffeepot, so plan accordingly. Wifi was not usable for even reading emails.

Everything was clean and it’s pretty spacious

Front desk staff was rude and very hard to communicate with. He was not helpful or informative at all and I had to go back to the front desk a few times after he gave conflicting information to us. The gal that checked in after us also had a hard time with him and went up and down the stairs multiple times after he kept giving her the wrong room number. There is also a parking fee that is NOT mentioned beforehand and the amount he charged depends on his mood apparently because we were stated 2 different amounts. If we didn't pay it, he said we could park on the main street. The rooms and decor are very old and smelly and could use an upgrade. The area itself is OK, and just a short drive to multiple seafood restaurants and shopping by the beach. The parking lot is sketchy but if you just need a place to sleep and shower then it's doable. Best thing about this hotel, it has an elevator!

Overall, for the location, the price, and the cleanliness of the room, I think this was by far the greatest experience you will have if you choose to stay here. With everything within a reasonable walking distance, as well as a cozy coffee shop right across the street, I could not have asked for a better location for my wife and I. Nothing too fancy, so if you are someone who is expecting high end luxury, this is not necessarily your place. That being said, it is perfect for people on the go, or a family looking for a nice place to stay for a weekend in Redondo, I highly recommend the Redondo Pier Inn.

I got here and I liked the place I was staying but on the first night I saw a cockroach coming out of the the cabinet where the refrigerator is kept . I didn’t have any food in there yet either so me seeing it really grossed me out . I only stayed because it was my wife’s birthday and I wasn’t about to ruin the trip for her . I tried taking picture but the cockroach was fast and it went under the dresser . As I was looking for more roaches I found a spider in an area that has not been clean in a while I tried to take pictures of the mold and the mess on the side of the the bed but my wife started asking to many questions I had to act nonchalant .There is also mold in the bathroom. I wouldn’t not have noticed ANY of this if it wasn’t for the cockroach that came out the refrigerator cabinet .

My balance on check is supposed to be $3.00. I was charged $9.00 when I viewed my account. I believe I was charged $6.00 for parking and I confirmed on checking my fee for parking was free and only for a second car would be $6.00, which we did not have. Some of the people staying there were sketchy and it reeked of marijuana all day and night.

Room was only cleaned twice for our 5 night stay and the first time it was only cleaned halfway (one of the 2 beds made, not vacuumed). 3 of the nights were nice and quiet, but 2 of them were very loud with music blasting until 3:30am and lots of swearing/arguing. Our room also smelled strongly of weed a few times, which is not ideal when traveling with young kids. Great location, friendly staff but not the best hotel for kids.

This hotel is an older hotel that has been somewhat remodeled. The room and bathroom were clean, the room had a microwave and refrigerator. However the room lacked a dresser or lamps. The hotel lighting but if you turned them on it was way too bright

Air conditioning was good and parking did not make me feel safe. I had a rental and much traffic outside during the night. I was worried something would happen to the car.

This was my 2nd time staying here and unfortunately it will be my last. We booked for 2 nights and left a day early this time. The woman and the front desk does not have a friendly bone in her body. I was hardly greeted at check in and she said nothing to me other than asking for my credit card. Guest on our floor and the floor below us were having a loud party starting at about 9:00 p.m. and we experience loud noise, children running on the balcony,loud music and yelling all night. I explained all this when I checked out knowing that my reservation was non-refundable and I didn't get as little as an apology. All the woman at the desk said to me was you can leave. I will definitely not be coming back solely on the lack of customer service. The rooms are basic but clean and this was a great place to stay for a quick and expensive trip to the beach.

The bed was very comfortable and the place is quiet at night. The room was clean, spacious and there’s lots of channels available on the TV. The location is walking distance from the beach, and there’s lots of food options in the area. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. Beds are super comfortable, super clean and super friendly staff. Walking to the pier less than 8 minutes. Very great location. Just needs a touch up on the building exterior, but other than that is great!

The entire hotel is neglected and semi clean. Pictures online are overstated as a new remodel. Really? Just a few slapped on improvements are noticeable but mostly rusty and broken down. Panels in the elevator are about to fall down, floors are dirty, and even though all staff was super nice it did not make up for the very noisy location. We heard sirens every 20 minutes from every emergency vehicle flying down PCH all day and all night long. I think I got a special rate because I'm a gold member of the agency I used to book the room, however, I saw this hotel listed at about $200 x night which would be a total rip off. Be aware!

Check in was fast but the guy overcharged me for parking it says 6.00 he charged 9.00 not a huge difference but not what the site says. Also the room was very out dated and dirty good think I was just staying a nite. This has never happened to me before when logging onto the WiFi it said that my stuff can be seen by others! WHAT! So yeh I didn’t log in! Not worth the money.

Window located inside the shower was open to the courtyard, making the room exceedingly and uncomfortably cold. Took me until the middle of the night to find the source, why is there a window in the shower—and why was it left open? The door jams were dirty. The front desk clerk wasn’t helpful. Couldn’t wait to leave the expensive grungy gross place. Never ever again.

The bathroom was outdated and somewhat shabby. The bed was fine, and the room decor was also ok. We couldn’t get the TV to work, and there was no coffee maker or tissues in the room. There was a hair dryer, ironing board, microwave and mini fridge, though. The room was clean, and it was reasonably priced for the area. It was nice to be able to walk to the Redondo Pier.

The room was freezing and the heater did not work. The overhead lights flickered, and the shower head did not work properly. The walls were peeling apart and the bed was loud and uncomfortable. All of that aside, I did not feel safe staying here as a female alone. There were men in vans watching me from the parking lot as I walked to and from my room, and all night long there were people yelling and wandering around the parking lot. I was thankful to be on the 3rd floor, but definitely did not feel safe leaving once I got in. Not a great area and there seemed to be some shady people staying here.

When management lives on-property things tend to be less desirable. Seems like cleanliness doesn’t matter so much. Great location. Price is manageable. But lower your expectations. This more of a “motel” than a hotel.

Room is a 10 min walk to the pier. The condition of the room was extremely unsatisfactory. The bathroom had significant black buildup, possibly mold, in the crevices and on the ceiling. The shower curtain, which should have been white, had turned yellow from age and lack of replacement. Each wall showed noticeable damage, including holes and dark smudges. The mini-fridge freezer was unusable due to heavy ice buildup, preventing proper storage. Additionally, there appeared to be months of accumulated dust behind the television, indicating poor housekeeping and maintenance standards.

Noisy neighbor guests. Yelling, arguing, slamming doors starting at 10:30 PM and continued to morning off and on. We didn't feel safe and left the property after 1 night of the 3 nights early the next morning and got a different hotel.

Broken soap dispensers in the shower, lots of mold on the curtain, and the key card didn't work multiple times. Would not stay here again.

Love the location Loved how big the room was Love the new flooring except my feet got dirty so I think it wasn't mopped. The bed was comfortable The two chairs were comfortable I didn't like how rundown it was on the outside and some parts of the inside. I didn't care for the bed pillows. Too hard. The biggest thing that bothered me was the bathtub surface was chipped and peeling off and you couldn't run water in the bathtub without having water coming out from the shower. All of that hardware could be replaced. The faucet on the sink was very stiff and hard to use. I did like the countertop and the round table top except that the base was very rusted out. The glass sliding doors on the closet didn't work although the mirror part was very helpful. In the middle of the night the first night we could hear a family struggling with their child and it was very difficult to sleep.

this place has a lot of promise. its in a great location. walking distance from the pier. and the room could have been great if it was cleaned properly. my biggest issue was the cleanliness in the room . i felt the need to go buy my own cleaning supplies in order to feel comfortable using the jetted tub. this made the romance room NOT ROMANTIC. restroom floor was visibly dirty, and bed sheets did not smell good.

After a solid 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to the lobby to check me in, I had to yell out "hello" to be acknowledged from somewhere in the back area. It then took another 10 minutes to complete my check-in. There should be a more efficient system. When I finally arrived at my room (I booked the one with the big bathtub *pro tip, it was jetted and I didn't have to pay another premium they advertised when I booked*), I found the top of a condom wrapper on the leather couch (IKYFL). Furthermore, I found an old tissue near the nightstand on the side of the bed near the window. I tried to call the front desk several times about this and obviously received no response (see the above issue). I mean...whatever. After this, I'm assuming the manager (or owner, idk bc he didn't have a name tag nor spoke more than 3 words to me; "wifi password, key") had a lady friend visit who was incredibly intrusive and rude. I stood outside waiting for a friend as this lady parked, and when she got out of her car, she asked me if I was staying there, to which I told her that I was, and then she attempted to prompt me 3 times to tell her my room number. Um. No, thank you. That's weird, lady, and incredibly inappropriate.

Hotel was fine for what it was. Location was good. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were worn out. There was a faint sewer like smell around the property intermittently. Check in guy was nice. All things considered I would probably stay again. Nothing was too bad, and the price for the location was unbeatable

They charge additional fees “parking fees” the lady at the property states, which are not listed or advised in the Expedia listing. Also no mention of any additional fees period. Hotel is refusing to refund my money.

I think from the pictures on expedia i was expecting a bit more. The stairs leading to the second floor had food and drinks spilled on the stone type stairs and they need to be powerwashed to look cleaner as it gave a bad 1st impression.Upon entering the room the door was a bit sticky and you were greeted by the overwhelming smell of pinesol which smelled like a Latrine. The airconditioner did help with masking the smell of the room. On the day that I stayed there the inn quieted down around 11:30pm. I stayed here for the convenience of being a couple of blocks from the event i was attending. I might give it a try a second time, but wouldn't necessarily recommend the inn to those attending events at our facility. As far as rates go it was the lowest priced in the area. Please note the pictures of the rooms on expedia are similar to the rooms you will be getting. There were no bolsters or gold blankets only an off white bedspread and the sheets looked a bit grey. Maybe i expected to much for the price, but I stayed here for the convenience of a short 2 block walk and my stay was to determine if i would recommend it to others visiting from other areas and I would recommend this place only for the convenience of the location and the price.

The location is quite good, but for the price we paid I felt like we were overcharged and didnt get value for money. As I said the pictures seem to paint the rooms in a way better light than they actually are in real life.

I booked this place last minute and then realized we had stayed here two years ago.... at that time there was actually a shooting where the guy next door thought he was being followed and fired off a round in someone's direction at 2AM. Cops showed up but nobody was hurt and no one stay the night in jail. The house keepers were great; freezer didn't work and the water pressure was a trickle. For a $100 buck more, Go stay on the Queen Mary.... you'll thank me

They provide thick, nice towels and the shower had great water pressure and didn’t run out of hot water. The beds were comfortable and the room smelled clean when we entered. The place as a whole was a little dated but service was good. I would stay again.

This place is a dump. The bathroom door didn't close in the first room. Went back and waited an hour for the next room - an upgraded suite with an old sofa and a broken toilet seat. Tight parking on weekend. The only redeeming quality is that it is on PCH and walking distance to beach. The front staff were nice people.

The pictures did not match the hotel comfort. I wanted a hotel where I could relax and watch movies at night. The tv was only for local channels and the hotel was old and hot. We ended up checking out immediately and going to another hotel. I would only recommend this place if you were looking for just a bed to sleep in.

This was a great place to stay near the Redondo Pier. Quick 12 - 15 min walk. Thr staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was excellent, had a room with a jetted tub. Spectacular for a soak after exploring the city on foot all day. Will absolute return!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a little getaway to Redondo Beach without breaking the bank. It was quiet and in a safe neighborhood. It was less than 10 minutes to drive to the pier. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with very comfy beds. There was a microwave and fridge. The AC cooled the room down very quickly. There was plenty of free parking. We will definitely be back!

The lady that checked us is was extremely rude, she acted like she was doing us a favor staying there. The rooms were okay; substandard, but I guess you get what you pay for and more than likely the reason I haven’t received back my deposit. I made sure to take pics of the room, and so there should be no reason that deposit isn’t refunded.

It’s extremely close to the beach is what we were looking for. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly. When we got to our room it was dirty. The beds were made but there was leftover coffee cups everywhere, someone’s Jack in the box trash by the sink in bathroom. And the trash can still had someone’s trash in it. We didn’t call down to the front desk but I did wipe down all the surfaces because they had visible smudges/crumbs from the previous guests . Overall it was fine but I don’t think we’d stay here again.

Got bitten by bed bugs had to leave at 3am because i woke up with bumps all over my neck and back of my head the owner who sais hes managed rhe place for 15 years denied it and said it wasnt his room even after i showed him video evidence, he didnt even bother to help move us rooms nothing , i wish i can post the video here and i need my refund and my deposit back because i didnt even sleep 2 hours before being bitten up and awoken , do NOT stay here if unless you want bed bugs full of blood and also not to mention the tiny splatters of blood on the sheets and pillows .

Staff was very nice but the property could use a serious makeover. It was dusty and the tub had a lot of stains. I did not shower. I paid $300 a night for a one star motel only because there was a music festival. Next year I’ll just splurge for the nicer properties.

Worst place to stay at. It’s smelled like pee coming into the concierges. The front desk couldn’t even tell us the charges he was making on the card. The place had no soap. The towels smelled horrible. Never staying here ever again! We would think it was a nice place to stay at but we were wrong!

It’s was great the hot tub great love the microwave inside the room and bed was comfortable. Definitely invest in pillows and needs to have more towels especially knowing we had a hot tub! however the noise level from the traffic was terrible and the parking was not great but the lady in front desk was kind.

I would avoid this place as much as you can, charged for parking even though we didn’t ask for it, no communication between the charges and fees posted on my card. Property was very dirty, dead bugs and dirty markings all over the room, room was very gloomy and dark unlike the pictures they show. Room has nothing, no water, no toothbrush, no slippers, no proper towels, windows are falling apart and dirty, AC is poor and TV is extremely small. Blankets and pillows had stains on them, floor is very dirty, overall, terrible terrible rooms and overall building cleanliness.

Internet was out the ENTIRE STAY.

Overall our stay was decent. We checked in late and the person was gracious in being flexible. The location was very walkable. Delicious coffee shop across the street, restaurants and convenience stores close by. Only complaint is that after we’d been gone for the day dealing with a family member passing away, we came back to find the couch was gone from the room. We hadn’t been contacted prior to the room entry and had even left the “do not disturb “ sign on the door.. Not the greatest surprise to come back to

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this area, I love how the beach is within walking distance and the rooms are affordable and very clean:) the housekeepers are amazing, and so friendly

Beds are very cardboard-like. Not a good sleep. The shower is weird in that when you turn the water all the way on, that's the cold. To get hot water, you have to turn the water down. Also got a charge of $6 a couple of days after my stay; they said it was for parking.

Nice clean rooms, looks like it’s been recently renovated so newer looking interiors. Good value for the area and about a 10 minute walk to the pier and a nice boardwalk

Left after checking in. Room was not even ready when we arrived at night (9PM). We ended up deciding not to stay at the hotel. Room was dirty.

Services are good but limited, wi-fi signal is so weak in my room it’s basically unusable
