The service was excellent It wasn't very clean, and the toilet flush button was very old and broken—I figured as much—but the bed and such were comfortable; it was just not clean, and the toilet was very faulty.

Friendly staff decent breakfast No elevator, key cards did not work most of the time, very outdated furnishings

This property is terrible. It does not adhere to the standards that we are accustomed to from Best Western. This is an older hotel that was rebranded without being remodeled. Not only was it loud, but it was poorly lit, parking was terrible, and it was FILTHY. The carpet was sticky by the Room Door and the Bathroom Door. The bathroom did not smell clean. and the beds were in need of replacement. As if this were not bad enough, the manager was no where to be found and I was unable to make contact on the night of the stay, the next day to cancel that night, or for 3 days after our stay. I had to file a report with the third-party travel agency in order to get any kind of response. Yuck.

Negatives: the pool needs to be cleaned Just a note: when in returned to my room, the housekeeper was just finishing up. She allowed me to walk in the open door without checking to see if this was indeed my room.

Staff was great, property is clean but it's old. Continental breakfast is lacking - they don't have enough space to do anything more. Location was donvenient for my purposes.
- 3/5
For the price the room was ok. Staff as always were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also a plus for the price. The metal floor transition was very loose and could cause a fall. Desk clock was set to wrong time and no way to change to correct time. TV was stuck on Closed Captions. Two suitcase holders would be nice.

Was just what we were looking for. Mid-range property that was clean, quiet and centrally located. Staff was super accommodating and we were able to check in/out with ease. First time at this location, and will be returning to visit family again!

Breakfast was simple but good. Room was clean. Didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. Plenty of parking. Location was convenient to shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
Parked right in front of the office. Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. Tv worked good. Breakfast was simple but good and was included. Only negative was beds were full size not queen.
- 3/5
Room was clean except for the easy chair and ottoman which had dirt stains.
- 5/5
I will definitely come again!

Room was small

It was noisy. It was old. And it was nothing like I thought it would be
- 5/5
Great location! Always a great breakfast. Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Great room, king size bed. Spotless.
- 5/5
Excellent Services.
- 4/5
the room was very clean, the furniture looks like it came out of a homeless shelter, but the lighting and fixtures looked new. Staff were very nice. I paid 130.00 per night for two nights. Well worth the price for the Bay Area. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
The room 220 has water damage on the back wall, paint is peeling and the roof has a dark spot. There's probably a leak in the roof and its causing the room to smell funny. Also, the door handle gets stuck and i have to lift the handle up then push down.
- 5/5
The room was cozy and comfortable, the staff were amazing the breakfast was good and varied.
- 4/5
I was pleasantly surprised at just how clean the room was and the overall quality of the facilities considering that it was budget-friendly.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
This is not a 5 star hotel but it is run with a 5 star mentality. The staff was very professional and they obviously care about the hotel and the property. The room was clean and the rest of the property was clean and well maintained. Great experience.
- 5/5
Best receptionist ever, very professional, wery welcoming and very polite
- 5/5
Great hotel! Clean, updated, nice staff and great breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfortable
- 2/5
Rooms were the cleanest rooms I have seen in a long time in any size hotel. Pool was nice, guests picking up their trash would have made it nicer, or having someone check the pool during the day to keep it clean. We were rudely woken up time to time again late into the night (past 1 AM) to loud people down in the pool area. Why were there people that late in the pool and why was no one telling them that it was closed? Windows in the room were not sound proof and we heard all sound in this room making it an almost awful nights sleep. We left early in the morning without checking out first, thinking we would come back for a minute and heat up our food before checking out, the cleaning lady was already cleaning our room and the door was wide open. What if our stuff had still been in there? Clear communication seems to be the issue with both circumstances.
- 4/5
It was great for a 2 night stay. Loved their hot breakfast and they had many options. The place was kept very clean and rooms were also neat and clean. Comfy pillows and bed.
- 3/5
Check in was easy and Jorge was great
- 4/5
People above me very noisy
- 5/5
I was in Redwood City for a medical procedure at Sequoia Hispital. The location was convenient, though at first glance, I was not sure what to expect, but once inside, I felt reasured that this was a typical BW property. Parking is shared with the restaurant next door (Stacks - so good), but adequate. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only downside was no elevator to the second floor, so we had to stay on the first floor since I couldn't do stairs after my procedure. I would definitely stay there again.

- 5/5
It was clean, and had a cool, effortless retro vibe.
- 5/5
Nicer than expected and the breakfast was surprisingly good with amot of varieties
- 5/5
Me and my family got two rooms here, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly! We loved their breakfast lots of options! Will book in the future
- 1/5
But that's not how it went. Instead it was relayed to me that I should have taken a picture of the bed bug and that they (the motel.people) were going to investigate the matter. Since then I've not heard of peep from them. Are 20 minutes stay in that flea infested room caused us to have to cut our trip short and for me to make a 3-hour trip an all-nighter because I was so exhausted I was falling asleep at the wheel. The last thing I wanted was to have to drive all night long yet I feel like I'm being accused of lying. This place is just scummy. I would pick anywhere else but here. If you have any issues they obviously won't handle it because all they care about is the money they don't care about customer service or being right or fixing to flea infestation that they have there obviously. I'm sure the county can help them along with that though.

Regreso me cobraron $298 así que fue dinero tirado a la basura
- 3/5
Room smelt horrible when we arrived. Sink did not drain, coffee maker did not work. Neighbors were loud until 5:00 AM
- 5/5
Breakfast was better than what I was expecting. Swimming pool nice and private.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, easy to park, close to foods
- 4/5
I have stayed in two different rooms at this motel. It might be me but there was a smell in both rooms that was off-putting. I don't think it was the smell of cleaning product and they don't take animals so I don't know.
- 4/5
The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast area. It was very pleasant to have breakfast there and there was a wide choice of items.
- 3/5
It was very clean, which is most important to me, and there was a bonus of a magnified, lighted mirror which was a nice touch.
- 1/5
Hotel was in poor condition and not a great location.
- 5/5
Considering we were there only one night, during the storm of the century, it was great! Pool closed but looked great for the summer, good weather guests. Staff help my husband and I right from the start! I am using a walker right now and they help me with doors and getting me to my room! Enough already, very nice staff!
- 5/5
The decor of the building and facade was amazing. Nelson helped me thru the registration process. He is a terrific Ambassador for the Brand Best Western. The room was perfect, with the necessary amenities . The bed was perfect as were those comfy pillows. Thank you Best Western for our memorable stay.
- 4/5
Staff was great, very helpful.
- 4/5
My son enjoyed the pool.
- 1/5
No elevator this wasn't mentioned on trip advisor or wherever I booked through. I ended up re injuring my shoulder from carrying luggage up stairs to 2nd floor. Lobby looked nice but area to the rooms looked like an old run down cheap motel. Once inside room it smelled like old musty smell. Fridge inside room didn't work, toilet when flushed would make weird loud obnoxious noise. The fan in bathroom didn’t work walls were very thin that you could hear everything going on in next room. This is not wheelchair friendly hotel I couldn’t sleep and left so early at 2:30 am because it was horrible.
- 5/5
clean and quite
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful sorting out a problem with using Expedia for the booking. Rooms were clean, but the odor from their disinfectant (I assume) was very strong when first entering the room. Overall pleased with the facility.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Excellent shower! Good value for the area.
- 3/5
It was fine. Great staff, central location. Walls are paper thin (I could hear my neighbor snoring through them) toilet sounded like a bomb going off, and I had to unplug the refrigerator because it made so much noise. Breakfast is great.
- 4/5
Clean property, very hospitable staff
- 3/5
I am sorry to say that Redwood City is not immune to the issues associated with the dramatic upswing in vagrancy and homelessness. Two years ago, the RWC area appeared to have very few homeless people; while the numbers are still relatively low compared to other locations, the trend is clearly upward. I had an intoxicated man trying to enter my room at 5:30 am. The staff ran him off, but he somehow returned a second and third time, after which I called the police. I wish this man no ill-will, but my family's safety is and always will be my priority. The balance between treating people with compassion and keeping residents and guests safe is a delicate one. Good luck, California.
- 3/5
When arrived front desk was very nice! Area for parking not the best, breakfast was decent, very noisy, we got poor sleep people above us were very loud until 2AM. Very pricy and can find something cheaper and better.
- 3/5
Overall was ok. There was ants on the bath tub
- 2/5
I have to say the front desk people were very nice when we arrived and the morning after. However, we are very disappointed about 2 events that happened on the morning we checked out. First, we got an odd call at 6:45am that someone called "emergency services". My family was in bed. Second, my husband went to take a shower at 8am. A "service employee" walked into our room unannounced. We had the "do not disturb sign on the door" and I would think that they should have checked that the room was still occupied. These events ruined our stay here. We just wanted a nice relaxing stay for one night and this was very disappointing.
- 5/5
Really nice place. Loved the amenities. Offered juice and water, great breakfast.
- 4/5
Close to Caltrain and downtown Redwood City
- 4/5
I didn't really mind
- 5/5
Hotel was nice, fairly clean, breakfast was OK. Traffic and train were noisy.
- 5/5
Friendly staff but the place needs modernization..
- 1/5
I will not return unless they change out the disgusting carpet which is most likely cause of bad smell in room; ADA room had no shower chair or roll in shower. There was hair in one bed & stains on other bed. very outdated furniture. could hear neighbor snoring. the only thing pleasant was check-in person was very helpful and cordial. but the room itself needs a lot of work!
- 3/5
AREA IS VERY SKETCHY
- 3/5
On my first full day there (after my first night) I was holed up in my room doing work until 11am. with the do not disturb sign. When I left the motel I stopped by the desk to tell the clerk specifically that I was out of the room and that I would like the room cleaned. He said, yes I'm going to do that now, I will tell them (the staffers, presumably) because they are still here. I thanked him and went on my way. When I returned at 9pm, the room hadn't been touched. Complained that night and the next morning. Some manager was to get back to me. Waited, addressed this again to a third person. Manager will be informed. Today when I checked out, told the clerk (think he was the original guy who said I will tell them) about the issue and he said he'd talk to the manager. He claimed he spoke with the owner/manager and the owner/manager was going to handle it and call him (the clerk) back. The owner/manager never called back. And the clerk told me to email the owner/manager for best results. I was asking for a bit of a credit. I also did request an extension of my checkout time, which they gave so it wasn't all bad. But it certainly was the heiight of terrible customer service regarding not cleaning a room.
- 3/5
Commuter train is too close to property and it blows it horn everytime is goes by, which is often. The property is small and the rooms are dated.
- 1/5
I had never stayed in such a bad room. The smell of detergent was very strong. The bedsheet was yellow-ish. We didn't take off cloth for the night and ran away without staying as planned.
- 4/5
I was best satisfied when the repairs I requested to be completed were but I was not sure for the reason the air was difficult the last two evenings of my stay.
- 4/5
Breakfast was 👍 good
- 5/5
It is very good service. I like it and will come back late trip.
- 4/5
but still ended up in a room with busy traffic noise..
- 4/5
Everything
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I cancelled my reservation by calling the Best Western Hotel because Expedia would not let me cancel on their website even though they were sending me emails saying I had plenty of time to cancel. So I had to call the hotel to cancel and the hotel said I was cancelled. Yet they charged me $200.36. I don't know if I will ever get my Monday back. Expedia should let us cancel on their website!
- 4/5
Stayed her multiple times. Friendly staff. No issues
- 5/5
The open parking and security was great, I appreciate you having cameras there to make sure the guests cars are safe.
- 3/5
Very conveniently located. Comfortable, clean room. Only complaint is our room was located on El Camino side of hotel which train runs right along side. Very unhappy with noise all throughout our stay. Worse is the fact that hotel was not busy and we checked in early. We gelt very slighted by hotel attendant to be put in such a noisy room when there were other rooms available.
- 5/5
All the staff we encountered were great. Breakfast was available including scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and more.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful
- 5/5
The staff was so nice. The bed is so comfortable! We loved the “blackout “ blinds! We’ll be back!😁👍
- 4/5
ok
- 5/5
The hotel has a very convenient location for work: walking distance to a Starbucks and FedEx remote office, a 5 min. drive to the county offices/courthouse, and traffic noise.
- 3/5
Not up to Best Western expected quality. Good location, but the room was so-so, tired and tacky. The furniture was extremely worn, and with a walkway right outside the window, I didn't feel comfortable opening it to get fresh air at night.
- 5/5
Nice staff quick reception service
- 5/5
Excellent customer service, pool area was great and so was breakfast. Will stay there again if in the area.
- 4/5
Could have been cleaner. It wasn't all that quiet either.
- 5/5
Grab and go breakfast was pretty bad--- sweetened yogurt, sweet roll, sweet granola bar, canned fruit--- but Starbucks is just a block away.
- 5/5
Nice accommodations! Will book again!
- 1/5
The caret was dirty. Our socks turned black walking on it. The location is by the train tracks and noisy.
- 4/5
Nice room, had coffee and juice with bag breakfast
- 3/5
BW except the carpet looked old, grimy and in need of replacement. I was concerned about even waling on it with socks on.
- 4/5
Close proximity to Stanford, wife had surgery there. The room was clean, front desk attendant very helpful, pleasant & knowledgeable. Overall, our stay went very well.
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 4/5
Cleanliness, that is very important to us! Plenty of lights around the parking area, it felt safe
- 5/5
The pool looked very tempting but it was freezing outside. The staff was super friendly. Room was spacious. They offered a good breakfast. Very clean and quiet. We will definately stay again.
- 5/5
Very attentive to needs, had a handicap bathroom. Lovely continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Everything was great room was clean, breakfast was great, the area was nice and quiet
- 4/5
Less carpet freshener would be good in the rooms (very strong scent), mattresses a bit hard, older property but well kept, can hear everything outside and in the room next to us. Will return. Very pleased with our stay.
- 5/5
It was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Was expensive for what it was
- 4/5
Liked the enclosed pleasant, quiet courtyard. Staff were great. A hot breakfast with make your own waffles was a plus.
- 5/5
It was fine
- 5/5
It was very easy to find and the staff were amazing with check in and check out. The only slight down side would be the parking. The hotel shares a parking lot with “classic” breakfast restaurant and they get very busy, especially on the weekends.
- 5/5
The only thing though , it was like 40 minutes away from downtown sfo . But overall 5/5 hotel (: Will be using this hotel again just a closer one (:
- 3/5
People were nice and very helpful. Breakfast was fine. Room was very dated and needs upgrading. It's sad to see how much they charge for this room. The room and walkway to the room reminded me of an old motel.
- 5/5
There for medical
- 5/5
Very comfortable and quiet, especially considering it is near the train. Staff was very accommodating for where we preferred to be located on the property. Only problem we encountered was that the TV did not work and staff was not able to get it to work.
- 4/5
The staff is amazing and the facility is very central for needing business related trips down in Redwood City.
- 5/5
I love everything about this property they have everything you could possibly need even if you forget something they have it the bed is extremely comfortable along with the pillows they have a really great breakfast selection different things to choose from. What's unique about this place is that they actually have a chair for somebody who is handicapped to be able to get in the pool which I thought was really awesome even though I personally know anybody who's handicapped
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Check in was extremely smooth and welcoming. Fresh complimentary water bottles provided. Morning breakfast was extremely clean and well attended to by the staff to ensure it remained cleaned and stocked. Caltrain was nearby. The staff were very friendly. The bathroom in our room was either upgraded or extremely well maintained.
- 5/5
I didn't like the scent in the room. It smelled like the cheap bathroom deodorizer. Everythinh else is great! The toiletries were all there. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Pleasantly surprised by the appearance & amenities. Nice hotel, nice location.
- 5/5
Awesome experience. Will stay here again. Thank you so much.
- 4/5
The towel rack should be nearer to the tub not over the toilet. Should have a towel rack near the sink.
- 2/5
I i did see some rats hanging around the building but didnt talk to them
- 1/5
tv didn't work. Smells bad in entry. breakfast is bad too.
