Redwood Creek Inn was a great place to stay for the weekend! Very close to the highway, close to Safeway, and I felt safe leaving my car parked on the property. I would also add that the staff was very friendly in answering my questions. Would go back again!

I checked in and staff told me my payment card was already charge for the stay, I thought I will be charged after my stay. I wanted to use a different payment card. Overall our stay was good because we were so close to groceries and train station. Staff was helpful as well,

The room was clean. The hotel is at a very centric location near shops, entertainment and public transportation.

Beautiful room. Only draw back is no pool and breakfast was just a few snacks. Very clean property. Would stay at again 👍

Loved the location of this hotel.. to the nearby hospital, major freeways and San francisco. Clean and quiet. Parking could potentially be difficult if hotel is sold out.

Great place to stay particularly if using the local hospital and needing to stay close the night before. Whole Foods right across the street and easy to get to 101 or 280.

Clean, quiet and spacious. Continental breakfast is hardly even a snack. Keurig coffee pods but no creamers. No fresh fruit.

The toilet paper dispenser was on a wall 4 feet from the toilet. The tv did not work. Took 6 tries to get the WiFi to work as it was somewhat confusing at sign in. Then it was fine.

The room was very clean and cozy (small). Staff was very nice and accommodating. Walking distance to whole foods and Safeway, perfect. We would stay again. Mrs. Axie

The room looked recently updated and was clean, staff was pleasant. Not really a "breakfast", more like coffee and snacks, and TV connection wasn't working well, as the channels went in and out. Good location near Stanford Medical Center.

Quick and easy check-in & out…front desk always available & friendly…room, neat with coffee, microwave, fridge, iron & ironing board…spacious bathroom…the majority of the rooms seem to be located on the quieter side away from the main road.

Comfortable beds good place to book just to sleep.

2nd time there. I have family that lives down the street. The hotel is in a perfect location. There is a Whole Foods across the street and a small shopping mall on the other side of the street. Close to a movie theater and restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms are large and clean. They have a small refrigerator, microwave and a Coffee maker in each room. Great customer service.
- 3/5
Disappointing this time. I have come quite a lot in the past but it was not as clean, or comfortable than in the past. Awful next door neighbors too.. walls are very thin.
- 3/5
noisy ventilation
- 4/5
Clean room, great front desk attendant, good value, and wonderful location. Walking distance from the Caltrain station and across the street from a shopping center with restaurants. There are both Safeway and Whole Foods stores nearby.
- 4/5
The "breakfast" however was essentially coffee, a few yogurts and a Madeline cookie. So more like a coffee break than a breakfast. They did offer a discount at a local place nearby which we never made it to. The discount for the gym wasn't the type with classes but more of an obstacle Course/PT fitness place. But there are several gyms in the area with day or week passes if you need.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was well appointed clean and comfortable. I will be staying again in the future.

Everything was perfectly fine. Room was clean and bedbug-free), staff were friendly, Wifi was a bit slow, but worked fine.
- 4/5
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like was that it is right next to a busy street and was a little loud, making it hard to get to sleep. A better breakfast would make me want to stay again.

Good hotel & enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful and supportive, appreciate all their hard work. Good location and close (walkable) to Whole Foods and other stores/food options nearby. Room was suitable if a bit dated, & did the trick for work travel

It is crystal clear the phonominal garden is done with love. The bathrooms are so clean that their white grout is spotless and bright.

Parking is a little tight, however, the evening desk clerk assisted us in parking - very much appreciated. Also, it is dog friendly which is also very much appreciated.
- 2/5
The site said rooms were upgraded and they were not the shower head barely worked the room was dusty I had a terrible Athmsa attack. The breakfast wasn’t available when stated so we had to go elsewhere and pay the shampoo conditioner and body soap was all watered down didn’t even make a lather so I went to my surgery at Stanford feeling dirty. I usually bring my own but the manager/owner said they provide it! They left the parking light flood lights on all night keeping us up and as it was we had arrived late due to emergency surgery at Stanford
- 5/5
I always love staying at the Redwood Creek Inn!! The rooms are always extremely clean and everyone is so friendly!
- 3/5
Property is close to downtown. Overall the room was okay. Shower water head may need to be replaced due to low flow and the overall rooms condition was decent. The room had a wired smell to it but since I was only stay the night it wasn’t to bad. If I were to stay more nights I would have requested another room. Also there was no one in the front office when I was checking out and no complimentary breakfast. I would definitely rate this hotel 3 stars.
- 3/5
The room was clean. Staff was adequate. Shower water was tepid on both nights. Inadequate toilet supplies in room.
- 2/5
The TV didn't work. They were unable to fix it in 3 days. The phone didn't work either. The place felt very second rate.
- 5/5
Convenient location, sufficiently accommodating for a quick trip.
- 2/5
The service is non-existent. They couldn’t care less about you. The amenities list things that don’t actually exist. The close location to Safeway and Whole Foods was great. The super large vanity is nice. Otherwise, I regret booking this room and won’t stay again.
- 4/5
It was very quiet and peaceful
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Office staff was also very nice!
- 1/5
I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! There was hair all over the bathroom floor and bugs. Then, when I pulled back the blankets, there were hairs on the pillow and the sheet. Then I noticed that there was a white powder along the baseboards and the bottom of the bed. The type to keep bugs away(roaches)
- 5/5
The area is safe enough that im ok walking around just myself and kids when needed. The rooms are clean and nice with a good amount of nearby grocery stores and a few other shops. Its also really easy to get to my childrens appointments at the hospital.
- 4/5
The room is clean and comfortable. The checking in and checking out is smooth and fast. There was only one issue,on our first night, we were woken up with a female screaming. It lasted for almost 30min. I know this is beyond the staff's control. But besides that incident, our stay was good.
- 5/5
Looks Recently renovated and very clean
- 4/5
Convenient location close to downtown Redwood City.
- 4/5
Solid hotel I would have enjoyed more if ground floor room had been available. Great access to Caltrain and a Whole Foods just steps away.
- 1/5
We had an unexpected medical emergency just an hour after booking—my father was en route to Palo Alto for treatment and had to be taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite the circumstances, the hotel was unwilling to offer any flexibility with the reservation. While I understand the importance of cancellation policies, a bit of compassion in this case would have gone a long way. A more accommodating approach could have turned a stressful situation into a much more positive experience.

It was okay…wouldn’t go back the staff took a long time. It said to ring door bell at the night window to check in and they took a while to come out and also to check out there was no one in the front desk and I kept ringing the bell for them to finally come out. Worst staff and service I have ever experienced I wouldn’t recommend this place or go back.
- 5/5

- 5/5
No complains, with multiple stores/restaurants within walking distance.

I've stayed at Redwood Creek several times before as it's close to family. Bed was a bit stiff and tile floor was cold, as was the weather. Easy access to 101 for travel to airport.
- 3/5
Room was great, but the area seemed dangerous. Not too many places nearby, but good and affordable spot when in the area.
- 2/5
I gave up and didn't go. I couldn't get directions, I couldn't talk to the person who told me it must be my wifi. (I was using cellular). The person did tell me ... "There is no pool". Doesn't matter what photos show or ads say. I just bailed.
- 4/5
Good, clean room. Proper daily cleaning good. If you're next door to someone who comes in very very late and has a conversation - you will wake up from the sound. Sound proofing not great. Internet service was inconsistent. Front desk staff pleasant and efficient!
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable and safe area.
- 1/5
There was no one at the front desk when I arrived to check in. It said ring bell at night window and no one was there. I called the number several times and no one answered. I had to get help from Expedia to finally get in contact with someone to check me in over 30 mins after I arrived. When I went to check out, again there was no one there at the front desk. It made the stay very frustrating.
- 4/5
Easy access to room; ample parking; good central location to downtown Redwood City…honestly, the one thing I struggled with was the location of the toilet paper from the toilet…had to grab paper before sitting down. (TMI, but GTK)
- 3/5
The toilet didn’t flush correctly, and the noise from upstairs neighbors was impossible to work with. This is a facility in which people also live here and I was here for work so had I known I would have chosen somewhere else
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel. Easy check in and check out process. Water pressure was moderate and water temperature was warm, not hot.
- 3/5
There was nothing special about this place. There wasn't an attendant at the front desk in the mornings, just a note saying they will be back. will not stay there again.
- 4/5
Surprisingly quiet courtyard area. Good sized room . Good value for price
- 4/5

Noisy occupants
- 5/5
Decent simple motel.
- 5/5
This hotel has consistently been a good place to stay in the Redwood City area: downtown is a short walk away, as are plenty of food and shopping locations, such as the Whole Foods right across the street. The rooms are always clean and the grounds are well kept. Parking is always easy.
- 5/5
Surprisingly quiet & peaceful for El Camino facility. Spacious, clean room.
- 2/5
It was not what we expected for the price of $313 we stayed at the Westin & Sheraton in Palo Alto paid $219 and they were exceptional next to this. We had no choice because everything was booked. Would never stay here again. Also, a lot of shady people outside of Starbucks, Safeway & CVS.
- 2/5
No soundproofing between rooms, neighboring room shower was like a jack hammer, very late at night for a long time. Laundry on premises would be very helpful. Breakfast was less than tasty.
- 5/5
So friendly!
- 1/5
I asked the front desk if the hotel was smoke free he said yes. I told him that the room next store people where smoking outside that was leading into our room. Then he said no you can smoke with a 200.00 deposit. Also told front desk that 30 cigarettes butts, are in the flower bed of our room. He said Ohh…Later on that night we saw him smoking at the front door of the office.,The room was supposed to be a queen size mattress and it was a full. Mattress was hard it felt like sleeping on a box spring with an egg grate that the spring are popping threw it. Couldn’t sleep at all because walls are very thin and can hear other people snoring. It would have been better if I slept in my car. When checking out I did tell them about the bed and he just smiled. No words.. The pros- room was very clean. Cute little sitting spot outside. Many stores and restaurants walking distance.
- 5/5
This is a great business hotel for a one or two nights day for work. Directly across the street from the shopping center, baking and Whole Foods.
- 4/5
Pretty basic, but functional, with a great downtown location.
- 5/5
Conveniently located, this lodging included free parking, coffee maker, fridge & microwave. It is across the street from a grocery store and a shopping mall. I agree with other reviewers that the bed is too hard but otherwise the place is ideal as to price, easy check in and departure and location. For what it offers, it is top of the low-cost line.
- 5/5
The staff were super friendly, all we came into contact with at least. This is the first stay at a place where I didn't have to clean anything in room after arriving. Corners on all floors clean, baseboards clean, carpet really clean, could walk on it bare foot and feet stayed clean.) They fine tune cleaning; make that extra effort. I like this Inn a lot.
- 3/5
Decent place and convenient to get around downtown Redwood City. My biggest issue is with the beds. They are firm and they border on giving me a backache.
- 1/5
The next morning, my dismay continued when I found the shower in my room filled with human hair – a hygiene issue that left me feeling repulsed. Upon attempting to check out, I was met with further frustration as the same front desk employee, whom I can only describe as a "wise guy," insisted on asserting his perspective and dismissing my concerns. In a world where customer service is paramount, I felt disregarded and overlooked as a consumer. While mistakes are inevitable in any business, the lack of effort to rectify the situation or provide satisfactory resolution was disappointing. As someone who values a seamless and comfortable stay when booking a hotel, this experience fell far short of expectations.

Bed was a little hard, there was a noisy neighbor that woke us up at 3AM, finally he quieted down after about an hour

Small place and clean. Quiet in the back but can be noise in the front area because on a busy street. Close to a lot of restaurants and next door to Whole Foods.

Redwood Creek inn, is a great place to stay, quiet, clean, cute, comfortable, great staff. Many places to get food close by. If I ever have to come this way again I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend

I was told when I checked in that there would be breakfast in the morning, but when I went down to get it there was no breakfast.
- 5/5
A perfect location to visit family!
- 5/5
The room was great. The price was right. Close to my doctors appointment in Palo Alto.
- 5/5
Everything is great but the TV doesn’t work. Shows snow.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the outdoor seating area was a nice place to relax. We had to switch rooms because the AC didn't work properly the first night, but the staff responded immediately when we brought this to their attention. The card readers on the doors are a bit touchy, but finally figured out the right way to open the door. The key cards seem to get desensitized often, but was told if we keep it next to our cell phone it could do that. The breakfast items offered are minimal, so don't expect to be served a breakfast. The location was wonderful since there were many options for food very close by and it is an easy walk into downtown RWC. Overall, very satisfied with our stay here.

- 4/5
Even though it is right on a very busy road (el Camino ) once you close the windows there is very little sound coming into the room. We will use again if needed for our frequent Stanford Health Center appointments.
- 4/5
Check in was easy. Lady at the front desk was very nice.
- 5/5
I was warmly welcomed despite the late arrival due to flight delays and my room was spacious, clean and so quiet! The receptionist ("Open", from Nepal) was a ray of sunshine sharing his insights for the area and his enjoyment of discovering America. All in all: 10/10 for me!
- 5/5
Redwood Creek inn was great loved the patio area as well as the room. There is a little traffic noise due to it being on a Main Street with traffic but I didn’t mind it with the ac on. Very close to a Whole Foods as well as a shopping center area with various restaurants. Definitely wil stay here again
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Walkable from CalTrain. Lots of nearby restaurants, stores, and businesses. Easily accessible to downtown Redwood City.
- 4/5
I've stayed at many of the renovated motels along El Camino Real and this one is on the better side with respect to noise levels, though still a loud road, and add in the commuter train station nearby, the fan is perfect for canceling noise and the newer windows and doors help you not be disturbed at night. Water pressure is also a bit better here than many others. You can quickly cross the street for Whole Foods or a longer walk or drive across El Camino for Safeway and several dining options. Downtown Redwood City is also walkable and has many dining options.
- 4/5

But... the sheets were discolored in areas and the bedding was never changed during our 3 night stay
- 5/5
Easy check in, parking well lite. Cameras. Rooms spacious.
- 5/5
Great, simple place to stay. Clean room, all in good working order, with a nice bathroom. Only issue was shampoo and soap being empty, but that was easily corrected. Friendly service too.
- 1/5
They locked me out of my room. I couldn’t get in.
- 5/5
Room was fine. Door for room next door was very squeaky and they were opening and closing the door all night. Outlet and lights on wall between the beds did not work. Continental breakfast was minimal - yogurt, fruit, some pastries, coffee and tea. Staff was polite and friendly.
- 4/5
The hotel was a very reasonably priced accommodation in the expensive Redwood City area. It was very clean and had been renovated fairly recently. The night manager was also quite helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was nice quality. The only negative comment about the bedding is that the pillows were not adequate. They were very flat foam and did not provide any comfort at all. The last comment is that the complimentary breakfast was sparse - yogurt, granola bars, madeline cookies and coffee.
- 4/5
