This was a good hotel for staying over if you're in the area. Was very clean, room looked new & updated. Plenty of parking & coffee bar was a nice touch. Only draw back was it seemed like the windows were single pain since we could hear the family's at the pool clearly & traffic all night long. Would stay here again if I was in the area though.

Location and cost The breakfast was not what we expected we had a menu that was limited instead of a breakfast buffet w unlimited coffee.

We stayed in the suite for one night and it was a great experience. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The entire hotel had a clean and secluded atmosphere, which made me feel very safe. Overall, a great choice for a short stay.

I requested service on Saturday, I did not receive it. I requested service Sunday once again I still did not receive it. I then asked the housekeeper on the 3rd floor if my room was going to be serviced and she looked over at another housekeeper and they were speaking not English and definitely not Spanish therefore I had no clue what was being conveyed. The housekeepers looked bothered and I did say it is 3pm but if you do not want to service my room may I have a plastic bag to take out all the dirty diapers and the trash. And that’s exactly what she did. She gave me a plastic bag and I just took the trash out myself and left it in the hallway since they refused to service my room. I also had to request new bedding bcuz they refused to service my room after I told them my grandson had an accident on the bed. They were not accommodating at all. I also let the manager on duty know Monday morning and he just did not care. I spent a significant amount of money to stay here and I would never do it again and I would definitely not recommended it either. Horrible stay

Stayed here to visit friends who lived nearby and was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was well maintained and staff was very helpful. Appreciated the Starbucks in lobby.

The room was comfortable and clean. And the lady working in the restaurant for breakfast was nice and efficient. The main reason I booked an overnight stay at this hotel was because they had a restaurant on site. When I checked in at 3 p.m., I was informed that the restaurant was closed that evening. And I wasn't given a reason why. Also, when I called the front desk the next morning to see if the restaurant was open for breakfast, I called 2 separate times and let the phone ring for a long time both times and no one answered. I was not impressed. What if I had an emergency or needed help? When I went to check out, the phone rang while I was there, and the guy helping me didn't answer it.

The location was great, rooms were super comfy with good air conditioning. Pool area and gym were nice although fairly small. There were not many guests or staff so getting a drink at the bar was difficult and the selection was very limited.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The food was excellent. The staff was so friendly. Great customer service if I ever visit California again I will book my hotel there.

I said thank you and he did not answer anything Then after checking out I just gave the key card and again that a thank you remark Also they charge my credit card the security deposit of $100.00 the day I check in when I call to get a refund and they told me to wait 3 to 5 days for a credit I will not stayed at this place ever.

The pool area is very nice and hot tub worked well and nice.

We loved the hot tub, although the pool was very cold, it being March. The room was nice - typical - and the staff competent and friendly. The area around the hotel has absolutely nothing, but it is convenient to the highway.

Otherwise it's a good location, probably the best in the Richmond San Pablo area, the staff was really nice, and it definitely smelled clean.

Breakfast was good On one of the beds, there was long straight hair strands on the sheets. This made me feel very uncomfortable so I slept on top of the blanket.

The downstairs cafe was awesome with great staff for both check in and the café. Food was good. We also used the jacuzzi which was clean and at a great temperature. Parking was easy and free, felt safe and had no problems.

The hallway isn’t very functional to get to your room. No free breakfast and could be cleaner in the common areas up stairs I was on a high floor (4th) could play a part

Decent room, good shower pressure. Quiet area, plenty of parking.

They have mini fridges that are set to 2hr time limit then it shuts off. So every 2hrs you have to open & press to turn on.. We went out to Pier 39 & came back the fridge was off then malfunction causing my toddler milk to go bad. HOWEVER the front desk was sweet & gave us a complimentary Orange Juice so he can have something to drink in the meantime.. Maintenance cam to fix it worked again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Richmond/Berkley. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed. It was clean, quiet, roomy, the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I visit family.

Nice decor, cleanliness and quiet (including having carpet on the floors and some upholstery/fabric surfaces to absorb noise). Having a cafe when you need to grab a quick bite and the opportunity to grab good quality coffee when on the go are nice touches. The Bistro Cafe offers tasty sandwiches and burgers. I also appreciate the ample, free and safe parking. The advertised Bistro Happy Hour was a bust ;) I arrived to find not a single other guest in the Bistro space ... even during the time I sat and dined in.

Location Poor quality pillows. Safe was not available. Bathroom amenities were at bare minimum.

How did I eat breakfast, and the parking was safe

A bit Overstaffed if not say "too many" - they're everywhere while customers few and rarely seen, even with such fantastic dining area, swimming pools and meeting rooms - and one black young lady was very impressive

The hardware (property, facility, location, etc.,) is overall fancy and excellent while the software (staff and service) is on the contrary

Property of the hotel was actually not bad for the price and also considering the area we were staying in. Definitely the noises around the other rooms and outside is what threw me off the most but not horrible. Front staff was pretty nice and direct about the room, checking in and out. The room we stayed in had no microwave or stove, so I’d definitely recommend really look into the room you’re staying in if you want those extra amenities.

We were greeted by a friend and professional staff. The place was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were too flat and hard to fall asleep.

It has a security at night they sell Starbucks coffee.tlThe elevators need cleaning there dusty.and there alot of homeless.

Rooms were clean and in good repair. But step out onto the balcony and it's like time forgot it. There were old bird droppings and old dusty cobwebs all along the rail. It wasn't that big of a problem, just a bit unpleasant to look at. Beyond that, it was a very good stay.

We checked in the Hotel but since they had a wedding at the facility they said there was No parking available. We had no choice but to find another Hotel. Doubletree said we had to reach out to Hotels.com for a refund. They state they tried but Doubletree would not refund it! No help from either one! Will definitely not book there again and will not use Hotels.com again Lost our business

The room was surprisingly large, suite style. Bed was comfortable. There was a seating room with a second TV. There was a loud engine sound, we must have been near the air conditioning equipment which die down a little after 10 pm. Staff didn’t seem happy or knowledgeable. We actually ended up making reservations at the restaurant at another Marriott. Little strange.

The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable, but housekeeping was missed for one day. Rooms are a little smaler than usual standard room.

there were a lot of containers in the parking lot which limited parking. the breakfast, although good was way overpriced for what you received.

Quiet and convenient. Rooms are spacious, just a bit outdated. We had to call maintenance twice - once for anrunny toilet, and the other for no hot water in the shower. But overall was good! Stayed here weekend of UC Berkeley’s graduation. Close drive to CAL.

I booked last minute, so I wasn’t expecting much, especially at a high price — but the place was actually really nice. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, so no complaints there. What threw me off a bit was the service at the front desk. Joshua was polite, but his attitude felt cold and flat — not exactly welcoming after a long day. I feel like the Property Coordinator might’ve offered a better vibe. Still, all things considered, it was a good

Hotel was situated near the event that I was attending. Easy access to I-80. Room was clean, bed comfortable, nice shower, ample parking. Pool was heated, slighty cool, but doable. Hot tub temp was good. More attention could be paid to pool & spa cleanliness, leaves & bugs in the water. Notced that the elevator needed vacuuming. Did not purchase the breakfast. Staff was supportive & helpful.

The staff was great! Everyone was willing to assist and provide input to any questions I may have had. My only regret, I hoped the bar services had all items to make variety of cocktails for the guests. We received too many responses "we don't have everything to make a cocktail".

Finally, we found our place to stay when visiting the Bay Area.

The rooms were noticeablely squeaky clean and the staff who assisted were great.

Great place, clean and close to shopping places. Great staff and restaurant is pretty good if you don’t want to go out and have something to eat there.

The agent at check in was somewhat rude or she's just not a people person. The big disappointment though was that there was no hot water. How can you take a shower with no hot water? Isn't hot water a requirement? Stayed here a couple times and will probably stay again next visit. Hopefully there will be hot water.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to others and would stay there again if visiting the Bay Area. It’s in an area of town known as Hilltop. Would recommend having a car to get around. (Or taxi or rideshare). To the east, up the hill there is an AMC movie theater. Further down there are lots of shopping areas. Parking at the hotel is free and ample.

Everything seems good except indifference staffs at the front desk. Night staff at the desk when we check in and morning staff when we checked out acted though as if we are interrupting her manicure time (night) and his cell phone call (morning).

The shower was clogged up l, so when I took a shower there was standing water up to my ankle. I notified the front desk and they said they would send maintenance up right away. Maintenance never showed up. I literally had to take a shower in standing water and then washed my feet in the sink afterwards. Unacceptable.

I love this hotel, I always come to visit my girlfriend since we are long distance and the rooms are always spotless, always have a pleasant and clean smell and the staff is always accommodating to your needs. If you just take the time to explain your situation they can go above and beyond and be very understanding to your situation. I love this hotel and will never stay anywhere else. Now do yourself a favor and book a room here at the Marriott!

Nice and sweet

I couldn't find many choices in Richmond, and I was very disappointed with this property. The lobby and my room were rather drab. I tried the onsite restaurant because there is practically nothing else close by other than fast food. My dinner (meatball platter) was overcooked and covered with a slab of cheese. Bath towels were thin and scratchy. Not a pleasant stay.

2. Terrible service in the cafe waited 1 hour for coffee and oatmeal ! Totally understaffed 3. Motor home parked outside along the street not a good look for the entrance to a hotel that charges $300 a night.

When we went down to get a drink from the café Angi asked if the room was okay, we said yes but we couldn't see the bay. She changed our room right away and even helped us move our things. The room was clean, comfortably and had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortably and had 4 pillows. My husband likes to unpack and put everything away. There was a dresser and lots of hangers in the closet. There was also an iron and ironing board. And they even had a recycling trash can. This was the first time I ever saw a hotel that felt recycling was important. Chef Jovon who ran the hotels Bistro Cafe was very friendly and checked to see if were satisfied with our drinks. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Good except for little kids. The bistro had only one high chair available. Hotel is nice and clean but i was also told there would be cribs available. It was a pack a play… not a crib. So my toddler twins barely slept. Had to bring them in the bed because a pack and play is not soft (basically feels like a hard floor).

Everthing was great except the platform beds. All three of us have bruises from trying to maeuver around the platforms in a small space. Everything else was fine. The location is nice and quiet.
