The staff are very friendly and helpful

Had family come in from out of town for a party. They checked in. Went to the room. It was dirty. Both beds unmade etc. The housekeeper yelled 20 minutes. I'll be done in 20 minutes. Who wants to stay in her room that only takes 20 minutes to clean. They left and went to a different hotel.

The fire dept was there checking on an alarm issue and advised us NOT to stay there. The staff canceled our reservation very politely. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

It is a good place to stay for the money. However I did just realize they charge a $3.00 safe fee. I didnt even use it so shouldn't be charged.

Nice property for an overnight stay. Price is good. There were a few sketchy people hanging around. That leads me to believe there transient. I dont like that idea. No microwave in the room. Wasn't thrilled with that. But they had one to use by main office.

My complaint is with booking.com who said 50 dollar deposit, but when I checked in it was 150.00 dollar deposit.

Nothing My room was robbed, only way in was with a key card..and this only means it wasnt a random event...everything taken. Staff was worthless to help. Refused to comp the cost unless I dropped the police investigation, not give them a bad review....do not stay here. Very unsafe place.

I got in the shower only to find no soap or shampoo in the container. Very upsetting.

"Non-smoking" room reeked of cigarettes and cigarette burns on blankets, loud music playing at 3-4AM requiring police to be called. Other neighbors had a shouting argument 1-230 am. Front desk was pleasant is the only reason to rate my stay a 2. Paid for my second night (but didn't stay) due to safety and health concerns.

The photo looked a lot better than what it actually is. In fact, it's rather misleading. The facility is super old and hasn't been maintained well. Won't say much about cleanliness as people have different standards. The heating (we stayed in early March and it was cold) did not work. The wall unit emitted only luke-warm air the whole time. Staffs were fine. Parking was fine. But overall not a good stay.

The room was OK. One of the towels had yellow stains all over it. There was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers in the shower. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but was disappointed that some basics weren’t met.

That it was a motel The front desk woman. She was rude and made us feel like anything we needed was an inconvenience also we stayed two nights and the second night they wanted an additional $50 deposit for to e 2nd night.

The people who run this property are liars who will short the refund on your deposit and falsely claim you checked out late to justify stealing money from you.

The staff was nice but my tv didn’t work for the first night. I told the front desk it needed an hdmi cable and she told me it didn’t and tried a few different things but it didn’t work. The next day the different front desk person moved my room and I showed her the hdmi cable on the tv and how the other room was missing one. Other than that it was alright. Rooms need TLC.

Having to carry my bags up to the top floor after requesting a ground floor and being disabled, it was very difficult, will not be coming back

I'm assuming they took out the fridges in all the rooms, but man it would have been nice to have been told verbally.

There isn’t anything positive I can say about this experience. The rooms are NOT clean. There was dust particles in the air & honestly it seem like they have been reusing the same bedding for over a decade. I had an allergic reaction to something within 40 mins of which could’ve been fatal & the manager “Micheal” lack accountability and denied me a refund for the stay even though I couldn’t stay passed 40mins & had to return the keys. No resolution was provided when I voiced my concerns about my allergic reaction at the front desk. She didn’t even try to give me a new room. The manager was unprofessional & rude! When I gave him a call to discuss my concerns about my experience and request a refund he told me that after you step foot in the room you are no longer entitled to a refund but it doesn’t just stop there! As I was trying to walk him down my experience the night of this tragedy he felt the need to describe one of his workers in a derogatory manner. I told him I was assisted by a woman that night & he then stated “that’s not a woman, that’s a man, that’s a transgender” which was BEYOND inappropriate & unprofessional to me. I was so upset that I told him he was unprofessional for not calling to apologize for my experience and also blatantly disrespecting a person who works for him under this location. He lack so much respect and dignity that he hung up in my face as I expressed my dissatisfaction with his behavior and my stay. He gave every reason why he couldn’t give me a refund even though I didn’t end up staying at this location after experiencing a tramatic allergic reaction to something in the room. He even went to further lengths and lied to corporate about what was used within the room to justify keeping my money. Please keep in mind that the Inn rented out this room not even 10 mins after I returned my keys (I had the last available room). DO NOT BOOK HERE! They’re dirty, the manager is careless, rude & reckless on top of being unprofessional. Corporate cannot help you!

Check was east abd smooth! The room was spotless and the temp was perfect! The sheets /bed were comfortable and cozy. Definitely the obvious choice!!

For the price point it was a great stay. Clean comfortable, close to plenty of dining options my only complaint was they could add a couple more large towels and make sure the soaps and shampoos dispensers are filled. But otherwise highly recommend. We will be staying again in a couple of weeks.

Sheets were stained, no running hot water. Had to move to a different location because of a pipe burst. To then find our next room had a clogged shower.staff was nice tho

My stay at this hotel was incredibly frustrating. The customer service was shockingly poor from start to finish. Staff members were unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in assisting guests. Every request felt like an inconvenience to them, and any issues I brought up were ignored or brushed off. I wouldn’t recommend you staying at this hotel .

Carol the concierge (Rockford IL) was my favorite She's so bubbly happy. She always made me happy too, know matter what was going on in my life.

Yes, the room felt dirty. The floors were dirty. I had to wipe some water up in the bathroom with the white towel and it turned black. I wore socks and shoes until time to go to bed. The sheets didn’t seem fresh, I brought my own towels from home and had to use them over my pillows because they didn’t seem fresh. I also sprayed the bed with Lysol. This was my first and last time staying at a red roof inn, I tried it and didn’t like it at all! Bathroom was really small. It may be ok for some but NOT me!

I stay at this property twice a year for business. I like the low cost and the location near the interstate. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room and it was updated from last year. Great bed nice desk work area and a very good shower. I was surprised when checking out that they charge you $6 to use the room safe. Whats next a resort fee?

Room was clean, staff was friendly enough, I put the wrong date on my check in when I made the reservation so they got me for an extra $20. It was late and I was tired. Bed was comfortable but room smelled musty.

They listened to requested assistance and it was ready when I arrived. Everyone was excellent.

Smelled like animal urin in the carpet and cobwebs in corners and not cleaned behind tv and under the beds. And not clean hands after handling the trash or after cleaning the bathroom before handling the bedding and clean towles.

No refrigerator No microwave No coffee pot. It was staying in a third world country. Only thing that reminded me I was in the 20 century is they had a Television with very limited service No room service No clean towels while there No trash empty or trash bags

I checked out after 1 night of a 9 day stay because it was a small closet in a terrible area with no amenities. I still haven't received a return of the 8 day rental dollars.

It was ok, you get what you pay for. Staff friendly and quick. Ice machine available by lobby. Room was barebones and small. It was $110 per night on 6/28-6/30

Awful. Was just hung up on by the manager when I asked to inquire about extra charges. Was told by him that non-smoking rooms will not actually be non-smoking because the building is over 50 years old and all rooms have been smoked in. Was also upcharged for use of the safe each day because I "didn't tell them I didn't use it", even though this was not communicated at check-in. I was told it was in the fine print of the paperwork I signed. Never in the hundreds of places I've stayed has this been a requirement- to stop in personally to communicate safe usage. Also bugs all over the bathroom floor and holes in curtains. Do not stay here!

The room was so humid. The ac unit (in June) took no humidity out of the room at all. After the two of us showered, the bathroom didn’t dry out overnight at all. The bedsheets felt damp.

Good location ok rooms. Bad personnel and Myers. They took 2 paid nights from me because I didn’t have my id with me the last 2 days after staying 2 weeks with them. Just because I forgot my id and they had a copy of it. Had to drive 4 hours back home at night just for that reason and they denied the manager was not present and they wouldn’t help me . Please stay away from this Hotel. If they get a chance they can still your money

Left stuff out on the table after I put do not disturb. Well either thrown away or stolen. Doesn’t respect wishes for DND apparently. I don’t take it lightly. My business partners and I will not return to this place on our next trip to Rockford.

This is hotel is cozy with great staff. I’ve stayed here before. Rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is most helpful and on site security is good. Love this place and the property is kept clean and neat. And the price is affordable for a senior citizen such as myself. Will most definitely stay again when in Rockford Casino Area.

I am writing this at 1am. So not stay here. Pretty sure my vehicle was cased several times. There is a domestic situation next door, screaming slamming things. This was not worth the money and I felt safer sleeping in my car.

Nice hotel! Convenient close to the highway. And close to restaurants as well, get a good morning coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin, and of course a ton of food for dinner. Very clean, friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Stood 2 nights from me because didn’t have a physical Id after staying 2 weeks in a row one night they didn’t accept me due to a missing license even know they had a copy of it from previous nights. Had to do reservations somewhe else. No refunds they are terrible

The place was nice, clean, and located conveniently near places. The front desk individual was not helpful. She was rude, didn't seem interested in customers due to spending more time using her cell phone than helping the customers.

The room smelled like smoke and they wouldn’t change rooms for me. The room next door was available but the attendant told me they were booked. I highly recommend anyone to look elsewhere when needing a hotel for the night.

Bathroom was dirty. Toilet had pee spots all over the seat and there was hair on the shower wall and in the tub. I left early due to the people in one of the rooms next to me were having some sort of party constantly banging things around at one point there was a lot of yelling and someone threatened to shoot his girl and they kept trying to get into my room. Worse stay experience I’ve ever had.

Its was a great experience

That being said, the rest of the room seemed clean and smelled clean, and was decent for the price. This was the second time i stayed here, and i didn't have any of those issues the first time. It is really cheap to stay here and the room amenities, dining choices, and easy parking are worth the price.

This motel is located right across the street from a casino. Don't expect to get any sleep here. We checked in just before midnight, and at 1:30 am, we were still awake due to noisy neighbors in an adjoining room. I called the front desk requesting assistance and was told there was nothing that could be done - she couldn't move me to a different room because the room was "locked" but she would call the guests next door and ask them to be quiet. At 4:00 am, I was still awake by the noise next door and smell of marijuana smoke emanating from the adjacent room. I again called the desk. She finally said she would kick them out. At 6:30, I went to the desk to speak with the desk clerk about the issues through the night. She said to me, "Well, I kicked them out." That was her only consolation. When I checked out an hour or so later, the manager was present an assured me I would receive "a refund" in a couple days. This did not happen. It is highly NOT recommended that you stay here!

Even thing was good.

It was a convenient place to stay and pet stay was free, which was great! The room was clean surrounding areas. The only issue was the room AC vent was blowing out a horrible smell. So, we had to spray the room to take the smell. Not sure if the vents need to be cleaned, but it smelled bad.

Bed was comfortable, very clean, tv does need better channels especially with sports coming up this Fall, love the location, easy access to dining and new Hard Rock Casino opening soon , easy parking right outside your door , ice and vending is a walk but overall a nice clean place!!

The cleaning staff was wonderful and did a great job. The front desk staff was terrible. The hotel turned off the water during our stay for routine maintenance, after the water was turned back on our toilet wouldn't work. Long story short they moved us into a room another where the carpeting was COVERED in mold. When we pointed this out to the front desk we were told we could accept the room as is or we were welcome to check out without a refund. The horrible night shift front desk staff was completely disrespectful and couldn't care less. We ended up going back to the room with the broken toilet and just used the bathtub as a toilet. What else were we supposed to do?? It was a horrible experience and I would never never recommend this hotel to anyone.
