This is not a customer oriented facility, they are going through a renovation and some things are not working, like WiFi, and they don’t reply to messages on the app.

It had just been refurbished after a two year closing and had just opened. Everything was very fresh. The breakfast is a carb fest with the offer of a container of yogurt for protein. No fruit, no eggs. No decaf coffee.

The room was very clean, and the mattress was quite comfortable. It was quiet at night. The check-in, especially after a long flight from Europe, was smooth, and wifi worked fine. Hot water in the shower worked great. Breakfast could have had some fresh fruit or unsweetened/plain yogurt as well I but did like the variety of options which were plentiful!

Good value . We used the airport transit system to get to terminal 2 where we caught the train into downtown Chicago. In a city that’s typically expensive to stay in we were pleased to find affordable clean accomodation at this establishment. Complementary breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff were friendly our room had everything we needed.

Nothing! Within 24 before my stay I got a communication from the Best Western that stated they canceled my reservation because of damage on 8/24/24. I was in Poland and could not use my phone to contact the hotel or Booking.com. When I arrived at the O’hare airport I called the hotel and they confirmed that my reservation was canceled. Booking.com had already charged my credit card and used my $64 rewards credit. I called twice Booking.com and it took close to 2 hours to find out that they could not book me at another hotel with the credit and money I was charged. Frustrated I finally booked another hotel. I should have been able to use my $15 rewards voucher from Booking.com but it did not happen.

There is no reliable transportation from the airport. I waited for 40 minutes with another lady and no shuttle. No good on premises. Cable is very unstable and the only response from staff was that they would comp breakfast as long as I showed up between 6 30 and 7 am. Went to bed with a bag of veggie straws and was charged an exorbitant amount of $10 for it. Ship this place

Sorry to complain, but the entire hallway on the third floor smelled badly like spoiled fish, I think I was in room 306 in the main building of the hotel. Even the elevator smelled terrible. To be honest, the entire lobby, elevator and third floor all need to be repainted, re-carpeted. To be clear, this hotel in its current condition should not be in your network.

Hallways were carpeted, making the rolling of suitcases a bit of a challenge, particularly for rooms located a far distance from the elevator. The room carpet was not clean with food pieces in the corners and the seam between the floor and ceiling.

While the stay was fine. The sheets on the bed had a few off-white spots. Made us feel a but uncomfortable. Could have said something but we choose not too bc it was just one night and we slept in our clothes.

I had to cancel as my flight was changed and I arrived 7 hours earlier than expected. Expedia would not answer my 3 phone calls to cancel and I saw you could not cancel 24 hours before arrival. Wish Expedia would have a slightly better cancellation policy. Unlike the hotel, who I called and easily cancelled.

Wonderful staff and service, the parking was a bit rough at times but it was more people didnt know how to park more than the hotel. The only little issue i had was the elevators had broken down for most the stay which sucked but wasnt bad otherwise! Will return again!

Unfortunately our stay was awful. The staff were some what nice but very short staffed so there was a long wait to check in.. once we got our room (second floor) we saw the elevators were out of service. There are only two of us and we each of heavy suitcases on top of bags to carry up two flights of stairs to the second floor. The hallways were so dirty, (trash just left on the ground) it smelled like mold and cleaner trying to overcompensate. Once we got to our room luckily the room was somewhat clean. There were some concerning stains on the ground and we found a dirty rag and empty water bottle that was not from either of us. The toilet wouldn’t flush toilet paper.. there was a small black bug we killed in the bathroom.. our tv didn’t even work in our room. We went to complain to try to get a clean room but when we called down they wouldn’t answer the phone. So we went downstairs to try to talk to them and the line was absolutely ridiculous. Not only people checking in but asking questions or complaining as well. It was a miserable experience. After 10 mins we just felt defeated and wanted to rest after driving 9 hours. Never ever again will we stay here. This place needs to be inspected and honestly shut down.

Overall, pretty good. One elevator was broken. The main hallway by second elevator had a bad odor. The reception staff were polite. The bathtub was clogged in room 233.

Was stuck in Chicago for a quick overnight layover. This hotel was affordable and had a shuttle to the airport. I wish the shuttle ran more reliably (would have cut down on some anxiety haha) but otherwise it was a perfectly fine place for the evening

The hotel is conveniently located. If you are planning to catch a plane the next day this property would be a good option. The shuttle takes a bit more time that other hotels but runs 24/7. Staff is friendly, it seems they get a lot of calls, mostly about the shuttle, but they still remain friendly. Hotel is a bit loud since is close to a couple main roads, but this is also expected for a hotel close to a big airport. Would only use for short stays waiting for a flight the next day.

Room was musty smelling, toilet handle was broken ish, window was cracked and the elevator was not working when we were there. But it was clean and it’s better than other places I’ve stayed

The room smelled horrific, like strong cleaner mixed with mold. We alerted the staff immediately to a car parked between the lines of handicap spaces, and the person responded with "It's fine." Later we tried to tell another staff member, and they asked someone else if a specific person was here, so it seemed like it was a staff member who had done so. They remained parked there the entire weekend, making it nearly impossible to actually use the 2 handicap spaces around that giant truck. The only thing I wouldn't consider 1 star about this place was the breakfast. Everything else was so horrible, I would never recommend it.

The hotel is within walking distance of the All State Arena, a Target, and a variety of food. Portillos is very conveniently placed and also a good food place.

We were worried about the location being right by The Ohara Airport but it was great. The front desk staff are so nice and accommodating. The room was really nice. The only con was we came back from being out around midnight on Saturday and there was not a single place to park. The front desk staff walked outside and put us in a spot that was No Parking marked by the hotel but it was safe, well let and right by the front entrance of the motel. Highly recommend this hotel!!

One evelvator wasnt working and the other other is an old sketchy model where the power switch was in the open for anyone to touch which isnt safe and at one point felt like we were stuck in it.

The room was fine. The service for the room was poor! Requested room to be cleaned and get new towels for two days, nothing! Finally had to take our towels to the front t desk to get new ones. Mark, one of the evening clerks, was apologetic and made a note of the problem. Last night there we discovered the room cleaners had removed the shower curtain. The front desk said we had to wait for an hour. We were in a rush to check out and leave for our flight. B

Has the best staff. Had a very nice time at this hotel. Was able to enjoy myself and relax with the CTA right there. Went all over Chicago on it and it was so easy to use. I will be returning.

Additionally, the elevator was not working and we had to take the stairs with our luggage and were offered no assistance. It appeared to be a safety when the door on the stairway was difficult to open. Imagine if there was an emergency! The bedding was low quality and there was not a comforter provided. Just sheets and a think tan breakfast Also twice the breakfast was being shut down earlier than 10am as was listed.

I needed a last moment hotel for the night after missing my flight. I was exhausted and this worked out perfectly. No bells and whistles but free transportation to and from O'Hare, a friendly and helpful staff, a COOL and comfortable room. Got a great night's sleep and easily made my flight the next morning.

Conveniently located near O'Hare with 24h shuttle service to the terminals. This is pretty much the only plus of this hotel - outdated, breakfast mediocre, we didn't have working TV at all during our stay but staff didn't care much about it.This will be a last resort if i need to book around O'Hare.

I picked the hotel due to price, rating, proximity to airport and providing shuttle service. The hotel failed when it came to the shuttle service. Arrive about 7:30pm. Called for directions on where to grab the shuttle - took multiple calls to get someone to answer. Got to the hotel shuttle area and waited over 30 minutes. Tried calling again to check on shuttle - could not get a person to answer. Shuttle finally arrived but filled up before it got to us so drove right by = shrugging their shoulders. Done waiting, not knowing if we would ever get shuttle to the hotel, so called Uber and paid for a ride. So, now the price of staying at the hotel just went up $30. In that same 30 minutes, other hotel chain shuttles arrived multiple times. Next morning wanted to workout - two of the three treadmills did not work.

This was just a stay over for next day connection. Room was perfect for our needs. Only issue, the size on the TV compared to the distance from the bed. Room could easily accommodate a 55" TV

We enjoyed our stay- the facilities are really getting run down. There were large stains on the carpet in our room, the beds were busting at the bottom, the main elevator was out of service, and there was an entire wall under plastic sheeting. However, the service was great. The guys at the front counter were VERY courteous and helpful! There was quite a bit of noise from the airport at times. The breakfast was pretty decent for being complimentary!

We spend the night at this hotel because of a flight cancellation by the airline. This hotel is what I would call a "Just got to get some Sleep" hotel. The person at the front desk and the two maids we encounter made the stay there comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend staying there. The rooms were t the cleanest and it took 1h for the shuttle bus to pick up from the airport. For the comparison Sheraton and Marriott hotels shuttles came every 20 minutes. The front desk, person working at the buffet were very nice. The breakfast was good too. It is okay for the price and the breakfast but I would expect cleaner rooms, it is older building and some of the things in room updates. The beds were comfortable.

Disgusting and in poor repair! After checking in and making way to the first elevator, I found it blocked and out of order. I then made my way to the back of the hotel to the 2nd elevator. When walking through the halls, the carpet was so dirty, many of the colors were unrecognizable. After getting to the 2nd elevator, it was not blocked, but it also did not work. i used the stairs to the upper level and found the hall carpet worse and with a foul odor. After getting to my room, I opened the door to a worse odor and looked in the bathroom to find brown, nasty, stinky, sludgy water in the tub, sink, and all over the floor and bathroom counter. I went back to the front desk and complained. The clerk laughed before getting me another room. Going back to the second room, when I approached, the door was left open. Despite being disgusted, i had been in travel for 24 hours and dealing with flight cancelations and had to stay. Although the second room was better, I was woken several times throughout the night with the sounds of sirens outside the window, and at one time, someone breaking glass outside the room door. I travel at least once a month and this is BY FAR, the most disgusting property I've ever seen.

Room was very dirty in the bathroom and the tub didn’t drain during shower. College’s toilet would randomly run and had to shut door, other colleges room had plugs that started to burn. Paneling was also falling off the walls in elevators and one wasn’t working.

When I went to tell the front desk they gave me another room but never apologized or offered me any compensation or anything. They acted as if I had a problem with my TV. Worst experience ever. The hotel is dirty, it is a risk I took since was cheap, but there should be boundaries, you cannot offer a room with rats inside! One other thing, in the morning they start knocking doors early to rush the check outs. I was trying to sleep after a long flight and they decided to wake me up very early … Horrible hotel .
