Fairfield Inn by Marriott Roseville

Need to change up the breakfast a little bit. Maybe french toast, sourdough bread, raisins for the oatmeal, and maybe some dry cereal choices, Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Life...

I liked the breakfast options,food was delicious and the pool was luke warm, which was nice. The beds were comfortable and the location was near the mall stores and restaurants. The room had marks on the wall, and the bathroom wall paper was stapled in underneath the counter. Also there was stucko on the ceiling but was not smoothed out nor painted over. The bathroom sink clogged and would take awhile to drain water while using.

Nice room for a short stay

Only issue is ther was not enough parking. We had to park up by the shops.

Check-in was very smooth, we arrived around 10 PM. The hotel was quiet and clean. The air conditioner was very strong. Parking was easy price was fair.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating during both check in and check out. Both processes were a breeze and they explained the amenities of the hotel thoroughly. They went above and beyond to help us find items we had forgotten at home. Room was clean, the bathroom was clean and stocked, and the bed was comfortable. It was an overall great stay!

The property is old, but rooms are clean and comfortable. Its right on the hwy, so a bit loud. The thing that made my stay unpleasant - kids running / screaming in hallways until about 10pm. The thing that I find to be bad business - undisclosed parking fee. I probably would stay elsewhere in the future.

Room was clean and had comfortable beds, but had no microwave, which is odd because it did have a mini-fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast had the basic expected items, but we stayed an entire week, and the breakfast literally never changed. The exact same, limited items were available every morning. Hotel also charges $12 a night for parking.

unfortunately there is carpet in the room , low water pressure in the shower, bathroom wouldn’t lock , and pillows are uncomfortable

Our Stay is amazing

When I called the hotel to resolve the issue, I was placed on hold for an extended period, and when someone finally answered, the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. To make matters worse, I was charged for parking despite not having a car. Overall, the service and organization were extremely poor. I will not be staying here again.

We have stayed at this location multiple times. We are original locals to the area, and this is definitely top 3 places to stay in our opinion. The staff is always fantastic, the rooms and facility are always clean, and Fairfield by far has the most comfortable beds! We travel a lot fir work and we have yet found a hotel that has beds as comfortable as thiers! If you in the area, this is a great stay. Its also very centrally located and close to everything the area has to offer!

The staff was friednly and nice. The pool and breakfast were good. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The toilet and AC were barely working. The toilet ran constantly after flushing and the AC made terrible noises.

The bathroom was dirty when i checked in and I spoke with the manager about my room. The location was older with lots of stains in the carpet throughout the facility and in the halls. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in other rooms. My last night in my room was miserable because the room above me was very noisy and i spoke to the front desk at 10pm but the noises and banging continued throughout the night with no resolutions. In the morning while i was going to get breakfast the refrigerator with yogurt had ice and black mold in it. I did not eat breakfast during my entire stay and i did let the front desk know before checking out.

Lots of kids running up and down the hallway late at night. Overcrowding in breakfast area and no parking due to some of the guests with children having a Halloween party in the parking lot.

Beds were super comfortable and the room was clean, no odors. The drawbacks were that it was noisy - we were in 2nd floor and could hear everything outside our room clearly as well as the folks above us stomping. The other drawback was it was paid parking at $12 per day. Not something one expects when you're out in the suburbs.

The bathrooms could use a refresher; perhaps new paint and brighter lighting. Breakfast was acceptable. In room coffee maker did not work well with provided coffee pods. Fire alarm went off around 2:15AM. That was startling! Apparently, someone was smoking/vaping in their room and the entire hotel was alerted. Not smart. Probably won’t choose this property again.

Come here at least once a year usually going to Thunder Valley Casino or their concert venue . The casino is about 6 miles away . The pool and breakfast is nice and coffee 24/7 in the lobby . There is another Marriott next door that has a bar . And there’s a waterpark across the street . Great and convenient area .

A fee for parking is acceptable in a city with little parking. But that seemed like a gouge in the area where this hotel was located.

My room was very quiet, roomy, and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The free breakfast was great, with oatmeal and fixings, eggs, two different types of sausages, and you can make your own fresh waffles! One other thing I particularly appreciated is the 12 PM check-out time as I really needed a little extra time this morning!

The hotel staff was friendly and gave information about my stay. The room was clean and quiet. What I don’t remember being told was that there was a parking fee of $12 per day. So I was surprised to see a charge of $24 on my credit card.

Our stay was terrible - bed was very soft & lumpy. Mold in the bathroom. The toilet seat was extremely low & very uncomfortable. Noisey at night. Overpriced for this poor quality property.

The sound abatement was terrible at this hotel. We were on the bottom floor and it sounded like a heard of elephants were staying above us. It wasn’t that there was a party, just a lot of heavy walking that was terrible loud due to poor sound abatement. I called the front desk at 9:30 asking them to address the issue, and they walked more quietly until 10:30 when it started up again until 11:45. Add to that, our room was facing the street and we could hear every car go by. It was the most frustrating lack of sleep experience I can remember.

I want to preface this review that the staff was absolutely great and I have no complaints at all about the customer service. The property is in desperate need of an upgrade, and Marriott should be forcing it as a franchise. My daughters and I actually got stuck on the elevator for five minutes because the doors wouldn’t open, so we stopped taking the elevator entirely. There was no sound barrier at all between the outside and in, so sleeping was very difficult. The deadbolt on the door was broken so the staff had to come help us get it shut. And finally, housekeeping walked in on us on our second day because their roster said the room was vacant. Do not recommend this property, especially with the courtyard and residence inn right next to it.

the room we stayed in was clean, however the pillows were not very comfortable to sleep on. Also the room need to have proper blackout curtains.

The steam iron was broken - got it changed three times ultimately had to borrow one from the family. Will not stay here again. The staff however were wonderful.

We stayed at this Fairfield Inn by Marriott location for 4 nights for a nearby Crossfit competition in Granite Bay. The hotel room was good size. We mainly were on-site at the competition, so we mainly just came back and slept and used the wifi to edit our work for the day. The hotel had a good continental breakfast that really helped us get our day started, and at night, the hotel was a literal 2 minute walk to an excellent all you can eat sushi restaurant. The beds were perfect comfy, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. When we come back again next year, we are definitely staying here again. Just keep in mind, the only downside is you have to pay for parking, $12 a night. That’s a bummer. But the area and hotel are in a great location.

Three issues I had were: 1. I traveled from Fresno to stay at your hotel and I arrived 30 minutes before check in time. I asked the front desk representative if I might check in a bit early; she said that even though the room was ready, it would cost $20 extra for early check in! What? 2. When checking in later in the evening, I was told that there is a $12 parking fee? Who does that? 3. Breakfast was sub par. I realize it's "free", but the eggs and sausages (along with a few other items) need help! Just my opinion. Thanks for listening.

The elevator is very much in need of repair or replacement. The door is noisy and the entire car starts and stops abruptly between floors. I was very displeased in some of the fees. I showed up 1 hour and 10 minutes early and I was charged an early check in fee for a room that was all ready to go and not still being cleaned. Also the parking was $12.00 a day uncovered with no security. I feel like I was nickel and dimed upon arrival.

Room was very nice, BUT the toilet was so low, fine if you were a child or young adult but not if you were over the age of 65! My wife had s hard time to get up off that toilet! And what about those parking fees, 12 dollars to park per day plus the room rate? Didn't like that.

I had to leave and was unable to stay the next night . The manager made me pay for the next day And checked me out as of 7/31/24. However I check out 7/30/24 So I had to pay both nights. So not happy

This is our third stay here this summer. We have been extremely happy each time. We especially appreciate the staff, particularly at check-in. She was fabulous! We're always sorry we don't have a reason to stay longer.

The staff is nice but the hotel feels dated and worn. The shower leaked all over the bathroom and beds were inconsistent. Great proximity to the the Sun Splash water park and short driving distance to lots of restaurants. A fair deal if you can get the rooms on sale/discount but don’t expect too much.

I made the reservation a week before and when I arrived at the hotel they told me that they did not have a room available for me but that they reserved a room for me with the hotel that is next to them. It took me half an hour to check in because they did not know nothing about my reservation in fact they wanted to charge me again until I told them that I had already paid and that I couldn't pay again well they gave me the room we went into the room we left our things and left when we returned we noticed that the air conditioning was working call reception and he told me and he told me he arrived 20 minutes passed and he didn't arrive and I called and he told me room 310 he arrived in 5 minutes it took him another 20 minutes to arrive and he couldn't do anything and he said I was going to go see another air conditioning problem and I came back in 5 minutes, 20 minutes passed and I called the reception and the only thing I could do was give them some bentilators for all this without being able to rest, it was 11 at night.

We were traveling with two dogs. Nothing was said to us at check-in about extra charges. One night, the dogs started barking in reaction to unacceptable noise level coming from two nearby rooms. We had left the dogs in the room for the evening. The lady at the front desk called us, threatening to have us leave the hotel room if the dogs continue barking. Very little sympathy, understanding and a lack of clarity from the part of the staff (one person, mostly) tainted our experience at the Fairfield by Marriott in Roseville.

This was the cleanest and well organized hotel I have stayed in for a long time! They have taken up the carpeting and installed LVT for a cleaner look. It was well stocked with amenities. And all the staff were friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel and staff that we had contact with were all very nice. It was generally clean but there were clear examples of aging… the bathtub had wear and rust near the drain and it made it question everything I’m afraid. The toilet was old and small and very low to the ground…again not horrible just kinda “cheap”. There were old tvs and AC units in the stairwell out to the parking lot… I don’t want to see that when paying $250 a night. But the worse had nothing to do with the hotel just the rudeness of guests. I brought grandchildren there for an overnight staycation. After an evening of shopping and Chuckie Cheese, swimming was a huge request. I delayed the first visit to the pool because a female had set up her office with several computer screens sitting on top of towels as she interacted loudly with people on her computer while she stood in the water. We waited over an hour and finally at 9:30 with a 10 pm posted closure, I allowed them to play in the water though I tried to keep them quiet in consideration. I tolerated the attitude she threw off and got the kids out promptly at 10 while her sense of the enjoyment of those around her or respect for virtually anything was proven as she stayed past closing. Appropriate for your room not in the pool M’am and yes, I do feel staff should have addressed it. Other interactions were good but there was a general sloppiness whenever doors were open. Towels, food, stuff stacked everywhere. Storage is tough. I get it. Close the doors.

This Hotel got the job done for what we were in town for. The hotel staff was not very welcoming, and the facility is very underwhelming.

We enjoyed this hotel, but there is a lot of traffic noise, sirens, and motorcycles. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would be sure to get a room on the back side so maybe less traffic
