SpringHill Suites by Marriott Roseville

Free parking, clean room but the separate sitting area was hot, breakfast had lots of choices. Friendly staff. It is convenient to freeway. We just wished it had a pool.

Purposefully booked the room with a trundle bed and the mattress was terribly dirty. Asked the assistant manager to do something about it but she could only remark that housekeeping was busy so maybe something could be done.

The staff made sure to put us with a hyper toddler over the laundry room so we wouldn’t disturb others by running/bouncing and she just did it- I didn’t even ask. My only disappointment was that the air conditioner was really loud and that caused some trouble for my toddler. It’s a window unit so not much to be done to cure that issue. We’re grateful for ease of our stay here and we recommend it to families.

The staff was really friendly, the facility was really clean. This issue I had was the bathroom had no working fan and the bed was like feathers with zero support causing a horrible backache. Ended up sleeping on the couch both nights.

There is a $10 per day parking fee that was a surprise to me. This needs to be more obvious in the information about the hotel.

The Microwave wasnt working. I reported it to the staff, and i asked what he could do. He said he doesnt have a solition. Wouldnt even offer any alternative or help. Not what i expected at marriott chain. Staff doesnt care. I asked if any extra microwave is available but zero alternative was offered.

Surprised by $10 parking fee charged by the hotel. This is new and I wasn't informed of. I paid through Expedia for an all inclusive amount so I was shocked to see my credit card was charged by the hotel. This hotel is off a major interstate/highway. Wouldn't you think you'd include free parking in the total rate.

We went with this location originally because it seemed to be in a great location and it had a pool, but unfortunately there was no pool! The staff were amazing and accommodating in the room was clean

Overall the rooms were good. We were surprised by a $10.00 per night parking fee. Seems unusual for Roseville area. This isn’t Las Vegas! Supposedly, parking lot owned by someone else. Really think the Hotel should cover this or figure out a better solution than to add that fee to the guests. Also, make that clear when booking rooms.

The person next door having Seggs. Oh my, I just want to sleep in, not be woken up at 7am to the person moaning next door. I can hear it at the end of the hall!

There were 3 things need to be improve. First, the air conditioning was making so much noise. It feels like a train going by the whole time. If it cost too much to fix this noise problem, I suggest your company to provide earplug for your guests. I had a really bad sleep during the stay. Hotel room should provide a quiet place for the guest(s) to stay but it didn't. Second, the water pressure on the shower head was very low. I understand about the water saving but it took me longer time to rinse off the shampoo, water saving might not be as effective. Third, there was a smell of sewer/drain in the bathroom. We had to shut the bathroom door the whole time.

Nice decor, but didn't like the $10 charge to park. Worst was not having hot water in the morning. Had to call to front desk, then they "reset the boiler," whatever that means. After another 10 minutes, water was hot.

Hello……..I am choosing to give your company business and you are going to stick it to me with a parking fee? A fee by the way that is not mentioned in any of the reservation details. Whenever we’re up in Sacramento area for a friend visit, we always stay in Springhill Suites. Their room is big, clean and comfortable. Likewise their breakfast is much better than the other hotels where free breakfast is offered. The staff is really nice and attentive to customers.

I was traveling with my husband and our 3 children. Hotel rooms for 5 people are hard to find. The room we had included 2 queen beds and a couch with a trundle. So 6 beds including the couch. Everyone had their own space to sleep and the room was so much bigger than I had anticipated. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast buffet in the AM was a mad house, we skipped it but looked good. I definitely recommend.

Room was 9/10. The shower had a tiny bit of mold on the corners but not too noticeable. Bed was comfortable & clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok-hence the 4 stars. We came down on a sunday morning at 8am (starts at 7am) and ALL the food & coffee was gone. I had to ask the front desk to have it replenished. The breakfast could have more of a variety but ok.

Excellent experience at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Roseville. The staff was very pleasant and went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a specific floor.

We checked in 11/2 around 5 pm. The lady at the front desk was very friendly but the man who served us seemed annoyed, like we were bothering him. We weren't impressed with the $10 parking charge which we weren't told about.(saw the charge on my cc the next morning). Room was clean and bed was comfy. The property is clean and looks freshly renovated. The breakfast next morning was complete chaos. People pushing to get to food. I even saw a guest (young girl in her teens) open the lid to the empty water dispenser and take out ice for her water bottle with her bare hands! Unbelievable! It looked like the woman who was trying to keep the food for the breakfast stocked was completely frazzled. It was not the most pleasant hotel stay I've experienced...sorry!

First off staff was great I left my bag and they were quick to help me with steps to provide them with a shipping label! My third stay at this hotel. They just started charging for parking where as they didn’t before. Just be aware of this when you book. Otherwise the stay was great as always

The front desk staff were very friendly during check in. Room was modern looking, spacious and clean. We only stayed one night. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection was very nice and the coffee was good. I would recommend this location to others.

I had to dispose of my own trash. (The front desk staff said I could leave trash outside my room and it would be picked up. Leaving trash in a hotel hallway is a terrible idea and bad hotel policy.) I know charging for parking is standard these days, but it's just a ridiculous money grab.

The manager told me she couldn’t issue even a partial refund because my reservation was made through Expedia, though she did refund the $10 parking fee and kindly gave my points for membership. The front desk staff, including manager were very kind and professional, but it’s unfortunate that they couldn’t do anything more to make this right. Overall, I feel disappointed that I paid for something I did not receive. Expedia and the hotel need to coordinate better so customers don’t end up in this situation. This was a very awkward situation and should not have happened.

We got moved to a room with 2 queen beds instead of a king. Had to sleep in separate beds which ruined our get away. Had issues with the tv. Couldn’t get it to stay on or load anything. Maintenance brought us a new remote. Still didn’t help. Once it was time to go to bed. The tv kept turning back on. Woke up to a ridiculous amount of noise from the people above us. Horrible stay, will not be back.

Only complaint was the TV channel availability and the fact that we had to call the front desk because of pixelating issues, etc. We had to change rooms and both rooms had TV issues. The front desk manager was quick to rectify but it shouldn't be necessary to do so.

My biggest complaint was the mattress was old, taco shaped. Obviously needed to be replaced months ago. room 111. Halfway through the night I moved to couch and had a few decent hours of sleep.

While the facility itself is clean and spacious and the front desk staff very friendly and accommodating, service to our room was nonexistent. We stayed 4 nights and had no change of towels, toilet paper resupply, trash pickup, bathroom cleanup or vacuuming. When we checked in, we were told we would get room service every other day. NOT!

This was my first time staying at the Springhill hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk people were amazing and helpful when I needed some ideas of where to eat. The breakfast was good. The rooms were quiet and clean. I will definitely be staying there again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. While I didn’t use many of the amenities, the overall environment was comfortable and well-maintained. I’d definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a calm place with great service.

I stayed here towards the end of July for the California Bar Exam. I was woken up in the middle of the night at 1:30am Monday/Tuesday by people arguing in the hall for 30 min. Didn’t seem like anyone came up to address it. Besides that, everything else was fine.

The room was well furnished and very clean. It was more roomy than one person needed but the trundle bed would probably be nice for a family. It was quiet. My room was on the first floor and had a view of the parking lot but I was very happy with it. Free breakfast was outstanding. Much better than any I have had previously. Staff was very cordial and helpful.

Room was nice, extra sitting area was a nice addition. TV was awkwardly placed. Outer door was left unlocked even up against a bike path near freeway. Once realized it made the jiggles on the door knob we kept thinking we heard a little scary.

Bed were comfy and the complimentary continental breakfast was good. Only thing missing was a pool.

The gentleman at the front desk came up to my room to help me get the TV connected properly so that it would work. He was very busy, and still made sure he addressed my room issue quickly! Also, the breakfast buffet was very good, and the lady who was working that morning was very kind. I will stay here again when I am in town for work.

We stayed here for a large swim meet competition with several other families. Getting to grab breakfast before the meet was amazing. The staff was so nice. Rooms were clean. And it's a great location to walk to shop or dine.

Quite disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi are closed indefinitely. This was a key point for us booking at this property. TV’s need to be upgraded and mobile-cast friendly. Other than that it was just an overall “alright”.

This is the second time we have stayed here, but opted to do a two bed instead of the single king. Beds were small for two people and not very comfortable. When we first arrived, we had a lot of issues with our reservation. Not entirely sure why Expedia would let us book a room with a roll-in shower when they didn’t have any available upon checkin. My mom is handicap, and needed a shower. The front desk people were great with working with us and everything ended up working out! So, other than Expedia messing up our reservation to them, it was a great stay! Clean, great location, friendly staff, etc.! Will book through Marriott next time.

The long wait for check in. I had to wait 35 minutes before the desk clerk arrived to check me in.

The property was fine but one thing I thought was strange is that there was no clock in the room and no dresser in the room. The layout of the room was a little “off” as well. Staff was great, food was ok. The room got pretty stuffy but the AC worked great. I would like to mention the sweet lady that checked me in. Shareena I believe her name was. She was very accommodating. I always appreciate people like her. There is shopping and food all near the hotel both to walk or drive to.

An ok property. Depending on when it can be very pricey I know that if you have a car, they charge you $10 a night to park it which is ridiculous cause there’s no security on it and parked around risk. The breakfast is OK not fabulous. The rooms are clean however I had asked to be in a certain place Next to family and they were not able to accommodate me.

My complaint is I was awaken numerous times from people and noise from other rooms.

The first night was Friday and there was a VERY loud group of very young adults or teenagers partying at 3AM!!! when I called the front desk, he said he knew and I asked why if he knew they were still allowed to be so disruptive and he dismissed my question and said something along the lines of they would reach out (they didnt reach out bc they were still screaming loud for another hour). I was so dissapointed in his lack of concern. It wasnt like it was midnight, but 3am is absolutely so disruptive and unnacceptable. Aside from that night, the bed was very hard and I would make up with aches from the mattress. I did like the layout of the room. Would I stay here again? NO. Here is why. I didnt like the response from the front desk, I shouldnt be charged $10 to park in a huge empty lot in Roseville CA. There was no Pool and its Too hot in summer. Will not come back unless it was free or under 100/night

The stay was fine and the hotel was nice however the lights in the bathroom and the sink area was terrible, they weren’t bright enough. The fan in the bathroom, room 308, didn’t work so if you close the door to take a shower it became a sauna.

The breakfast is ideal with hot coffee, warm cooked options such as scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes. They also have a self service waffle station that my kids loved. We will stay here again when we attend a concert at Thunder Valley Casino. There is also a Target close by.

Bathroom drain didn't drain correctly. No pool although current reviews noted they did have a pool. The pool was one of the reasons I booked it.

Once I got checked in, it was really great! When I first arrived, I had to wait 35 min before a customer service person arrived to check us in. We had drove for 5 hours and was really tired! The customer service person finally came and immediately apologized over and over saying she was the only one available. She seemed very sincere. There were about 18 people behind me that were making nasty remarks. One even went behind the counter! The other asked what would happen if she pulled the fire alarm! She says maybe that would get someone to come to the counter. Afterwards when I got checked in, everything else was comfortable.

I have been to this property a couple times now and have not been let down. The staff is amazing and work very hard which you can tell by how clean and well kept the property is. Breakfast was also good and had so many options. Don't like that there is no pool though but will continue to come back despite that fact because it checks all of the others boxes for me. Extremely satisfied with both visits.
