Reviews
Guests consistently praise the hotel's staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is also frequently mentioned as a pro, with many guests appreciating its proximity to local attractions. The cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the breakfast are also often highlighted. However, parking issues and the behavior of other guests' children are common complaints.

Great breakfast. Omlette team was very nice and fun! They deserve a huge shout-out :)

Good location
- 5/5
Loved the location, room was nice. Bathroom door got in the way a lot. It swung open blocking the hallway. Bar was nice. Breakfast was great. The hotel store is well stock but obscenely expensive. $7.20 for a small bottle of pelligrino. Parking is $10 an hour or Valet for $47 a night. We don't regret our stay just be preparded for expense.

Always a pleasure to stay and such an amazing team. Hotel was a great environment and will definitely be recommend

My family and I have been staying with Embassy Suits for years! I have always loved them and the comfort of their Suites. Happy Hour is a Win Win along with breakfast being five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Did I not mention the indoor pool? N/A

Public parking was available only across the street from the property, which was very disappointing. Valet parking was the only option on the property without valid notification of its $47.00 cost.

A truly enjoyable stay at Embassy Suites Sacramento! The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and everything was well maintained. It felt more like a relaxing getaway than just a hotel stay. I’d definitely stay here again. 😊

Location, location, location. Right next to the water. Beautiful facility. Across the street from old town and the capitals right down the street. Access to the freeways. Staff was professional and courteous.

Great area located next to all the fun stuff to do as well as the arena

4/5 stars bc valet was only parking option. Unless you wanted to park across the street. Room key quit working on second day and has to pay for water, no fountains to refill bottle water on site. Antonio the busser during breakfast was friendly and great. Would come back

Location is great. Walking distance to old town and shopping. Love the hotel, free cocktails in the evening and the complimentary breakfast buffet.

their breakfast is amazing as always the room is amazing size always clean. There was a few little spots that had some dirt on some of the handles as I always go through and clean the room because of My Son who has special needs and is immuno compromised, but overall, it was an amazing room and the hotel employees were great! And again, breakfast is the best of all hotels I’ve stayed at
- 5/5
The property was great. The staff, especially Melissa, really went above and beyond to help setup a birthday surprise; I couldn’t have pulled it off as flawlessly without all their help! Great experience!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with lovely room, amazing breakfast and a great free evening reception. The only negative was the $47 per night valet parking fee.
- 5/5
Very clean, seems to be a newer property. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good.

Location, staff, and lobby were excellent. Free breakfast was amazing. Very clean. Paying $47.00 daily parking fee. Our room did not receive maid service during our 2 night stay. Bed was not comfortable and pillows were awful.

Great place! Love the location

Check In time was 4 pm. Rooms weren't ready until 4:58 pm. I booked 2 - suites with river view. One room didn't have the river view, which was I booked through Expedia which clearly indicated in my Expedia confirmation that it was a river view room. I spoke to the hotel manager who informed me that her records indicated it wasn't river view. I offered to show the manager my email from expedia that it said it was river view. She said since the room was booked through a 3rd party that I needed to take the issue to Expedia.
- 5/5
We love the family hospitality, one of our favorite hotels in Sacramento! There’s nothing to not like, parking could be better but it’s still very convenient
- 5/5
The Entire Team in Sacramento was amazing! Each ad every team member made sure all of our needs were taken care and more importantly always did this with a smile. A Real Smile!! Great stay and we plan to return in the future!!

Location was perfect for spending time in Old Town Sacramento. The evening reception and breakfast were great. The staff was attentive and pleasant . I would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
We had a very brief stay but everything was great!
- 5/5
Excellent staff and location in Sacramento. The room was very clean and spacious. Love the breakfast and Manager Special. My only complaints were a loud AC unit and a less than desirable view out of the back of the building. I did not ask to be moved, so that is on me for not giving the staff an opportunity to address the issue.
- 5/5
THE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME MY FAMILY ENJOYED IT...THE STAFF WAS AMAZING THEY REALLY TOOK CARE OF US ALWAYS SOME ONE AROUND TO TALK TOO IF WE HAD ANY PROBLEMS WHICH I DID....I LOST MY DEBIT CARD I REPORTED IT THE NEXT DAY FRONT DESK CALLED ME THEY FOUND IT....WE ALL HAD A GOOD TIME SITTING AT THE BAR WE ORDERED SOME FOOD IT WAS AMAZING....OVERALL WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WE ACTUALLY BOOKED A ROOM FOR MEMORIAL WEEKEND....CANT WAIT !!!!

- 5/5
Love this place for my first time, the receptionist was very polite and sweet
- 5/5
If you are attending a game at Sutter Park, this is the best possible place to stay. The Park is just a pleasant stroll away across the bridge. But it’s the staff at this hotel that really makes the difference. Every staff member I interacted with was polite and helpful. When I come back to Sacramento, I will stay here!
- 5/5
This property checks all the boxes - clean, spacious, convenient with great amenities. We love the breakfast and the manager’s reception. Perfect for the ballgames!

Room was spotless, although only there for 1 night the place and staff were attentive, cordial, and nice. Great rooms and location.
- 4/5
The breakfast was delicious, and the bartender was a great mixologist.
- 5/5
The Breakfast was amazing that even my kids, who never wake up, really enjoyed it with the variety that hotel offered. My kids LOVE the pool spa! they spent almost the whole day there. I really enjoyed the complimentary Happy Hour. My friends and I all relaxed and hangout in the lobby.

Perfectly located directly across the street from Old Sacramento. Great views of the capitol building as you cross the street. The room was clean, large. and perfectly situated. The happy hour is fantastic and the free breakfast in the morning was superb.
- 5/5
On my wish list would be free hotel parking included
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. Perfect location in Old Sac
- 5/5
We enjoyed the stay here. It was a great location for sutter health park and Old Sacramento. My family really enjoyed how close it was to everything. They really enjoyed the breakfast.
- 5/5
We would definitely return.
- 3/5
Location was great for Old Town and the Crocker museum. I honestly was expecting more for a hotel that changed about $400/night. The front desk at check in was a little rude, she didn’t speak loud enough to hear over the music they had playing. The king river view room had a great view, but the bed itself was an old worn out pillow top with springs you could feel and the pillows were all very hard. I would probably not stay again at that price point.
- 4/5
Front desk was wonderful. View of bridge was wonderful. Breakfast was very good - nice chef. Would be nice to have gluten-free muffin option. Carpet on floors of rooms would be nicer.
- 5/5
Friendly staff at the bar and restaurants
- 2/5
Valet parking for handicap was $47 . Stated on the 7th floor and it was so loud. Didn't get any sleep. Breakfast and staff were amazing
- 5/5

- 5/5
Always a great stay at embassy
- 5/5
Amazing service
- 1/5
5 stars to Antonio and the security guard for being friendly and helpful. Zero stars to management for severely understaffing this property. With constant lines out the door st registration and no one manning either guest services station and no one answering the phone when you call house keeping, the front desk, or the bellman line, I wasnt able to talk to anyone about a horrible sour milk smell on one of our beds. We all had to cram on to one bed because one had a horrible odor. The next day I finally was able to speak to someone who I think was the manager and he just looked at me blankly. He did not care at all. He did not even send a house keeper. Otherwise it was a really nice stay. Hire more people. Stop cutting corners. When you pay almost a grand to somewhere both beds should be usable.
- 5/5
Breakfast was exceptional and the cocktail hour was a great bonus
- 5/5
It’s was a great time breakfast was delicious and bar had everything we wanted
- 5/5
Just a quick trip for a baseball game. Super easy, relaxing, and comfortable.

We love this hotel and stay everytime we go to a game at Sutter Health Park. The only issue we had was no valet parking! We had to park across the street.

Breakfast was great, restaurant stayed open late which was perfect after the A’s game. Marlenne who worked during breakfast was above and beyond kind to us!
- 5/5

Clean, friendly staff, amazing downtown.
- 4/5
During breakfast times, the service staff in the restaurant were amazing. Everyone from the bussers/porters, to the guys on the line cooking omelettes to order - they were all incredibly friendly and made the stay that much more pleasant. The room was clean, the amenities were average. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and caring as well. The pool was nice. A bit of a loud area, but nice to have access to. Our kids loved it. We stayed in room 217. At night, there is what seemed to be a decorative flood light outside of our room that was pointing directly into our room. So we had to do a few things to make sure the room stayed dark while everyone was sleeping. The stay, overall, was very pleasant. The location was great, too.

The continental breakfast was more than we expected and fantastic! Every breakfast option you could think of from fruit, pastries to an omelet bar. They have 2 bars and a walk up order restaurant inside that was open late and also does room service. This will be our hotel of choice anytime we need to stay in the area.

Interesting walks of life staying here, maybe being used as motel?? A bit noisy if you are planning on resting, relaxing, or sleeping in. A lot of kids but possibly better if you’re looking for family friendly place. Room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was decent with the usual options. Probably wouldn’t use this location again.

Great spot - clean, comfortable room with a great view of the river. Breakfast gets slammed but they try to keep it stocked. Rooms on lower floors are pretty loud even into the evenings due to the noise in the lobby.

- 5/5
Great customer service and friendly staff. Nice rooms easy check-in n out. Close to everything Downtown.

This hotel felt like it cost triple what we paid. It was beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hands down the best complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had and the only one I’ve been to that actually had enough seating. Walking to dinner and shopping was an extra perk. There wasn’t on site parking that we could see or find, but the valet wasn’t too expensive so it wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The pool was small and the chlorine smelled strong.a

The hotel is beautiful and was decorated for Christmas. Lovely lobby, very open. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Here are some amenities in that room style: Pullout couch, dining table (4 chairs), coat closet, microwave, mini fridge, complimentary water bottles, two sinks (one just outside bathroom/one in bathroom). Storage/drawers in living room and bedroom, closet in bedroom. Hair dryer and large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/hand soap/lotion/body wash. The complimentary breakfast was great: eggs, French toast, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, made to order omelets, bacon, oatmeal, baked goods, etc. Bedding was comfortable. Complimentary happy hour served select wine, beer , and hard alcohol. They have a restaurant on-site and we were able to walkalong the river after dinner. The riverfront was well lit and paved. Con: The room smelled like fish. I thought maybe it was from a previous person who stayed there. The night went on and the smell didn’t dissipate. Google Search result said it could be an electrical outlet problem. I believed it smelled like fish near a specific outlet that the hotel had overloaded with 4 different cords. It also had a high pitched sound emitting from it. My husband unplugged the cords and the sound stopped and I believe the smell reduced over time. I notified the front desk.

The facility offers regular rooms, “partial” river view rooms, and “river view”. I paid extra to upgrade to a full “river view”. The room was on the second floor and there was a row of trees completely blocking the view of the river. You could barely even make out that there was water on the other side. Absolute waste of money to upgrade. Both nights the motel parking was full, so I had to pay to park across the road in a public facility and walk back and forth in the rain. That public parking has no “in and out” privileges, so if you leave and come back, it’s an additional $15 each time, plus fees when you leave the next morning. To park two nights, without any “in and out”, was a total of $70. The room, while clean, had an unpleasant odor. My wife and I both woke up sore from sleeping in the broken down bed both nights. Overall, for the amount of money I spent, I was disappointed andI will definitely stay elsewhere next time I’m in the area.

Staff is always wonderful and the room was very clean. Bedding is comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

Our room was perfect for myself, my husband and 2 granddaughters (10/8). The staff were all very courteous and engaging with our granddaughters. We enjoyed both the cocktail reception and full breakfast each day. Our granddaughters loved swimming in the indoor pool and relaxing in the hot tub.
- 5/5
Lovely

The Staff, especially the staff members that signed me into the room was great. The room is amazing, the veiw of the Bridge and Sacramento river is great.

- 5/5
The bartenders and servers were all friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
My family come here every winter holiday season and we love it.
- 5/5
I love this hotel, it is within walking distance to sites. Ignasus at the front desk gave tips about places see in the area. He even made sure we had coffee ready for our very early departure. The bar staff Kellan, Omar, Cerci, made the happy hour so much fun. We chose to spend the evening at the hotel to watch the World Series. Dinner at this hotel was delicious. The breakfast buffets were amazing. The night manager snd security staff we visible and made the hotel safe to hang out on the lovely patio on the river. Our room was perfect with a view of the river. The entire staff was so welcoming. The management of that hotel does a great job; it is beautifully kept. Thank you for a great week.
- 5/5
Great indoor pool area, small compact, but very calm and peaceful. Very decent breakfast options. Managers social has free mixed drink, wine, and beer as well as fruit cheese and crackers. Nice rooms, overall quality stay!
- 4/5
This was a very nice place to stay at. My hotel was smaller than I expected. It had two rooms but it was tight. I like everything the hotel room had to offer. I did hear the train go by a few times as it was right out the window. For breakfast it was really good but the coffee was not available at times. It made it hard to figure out what to drink with that not being available. Other than that it was very nice and pleasant.
- 5/5
Very good in general

Amazing stay as always. It's a yearly tradition to stay here and attend the Theater of Lights. Wonderful staff, clean room, great breakfast!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! Great stay!
- 5/5
Spacious suites, very clean, great customer service, modern interior design. Cooked to order breakfast.
- 5/5
Although I was very happy with our room, there were a few things that needed a little bit of attention. Such as the wallpaper coming off the wall in the bathroom and there was a small leak under the sink that I kept using the towel to wipe. Otherwise things were very nice. Our room was 702. Another suggestion I might add is to have shower chairs available for people if they don’t get a ADA room. On breakfast, there were a lot of pre-packaged items, such as French toast and powdered eggs. The place overall is lovely. The bartender was fabulous. I will be coming back.

- 5/5
Great room, very nice staff, excellent breakfast
- 5/5
The room was spacious. The breakfast and staff cooking the eggs and cleaning the tables were wonderful! Zachary at the front desk was awesome and helpful as well. Besides the valet clipping my side mirror with a car, I loved it. So close to old town!

Cleanliness and Amenities
- 4/5
During our 3-night stay, we had some positive experiences as well as some negative. The hotel is in an great location, walkable to Old Sacramento and many other parts of the downtown area. The entrance and public area of the hotel are very attractive, open and spacious. The employees were pleasant and helpful. We had a King suite with river view. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. The living room area where our daughter slept was somewhat noisy, as the window faced the open atrium area where there was music, talking, and breakfast area clatter. The floorplan of our room was not well designed. When one person goes in or out of the bathroom, the door bumps into anyone using the refrigerator, kitchen sink, or coffee maker. The microwave was on a very low shelf making it difficult to use. The microwave was a very old model that used a manual knob to set time in minutes rather than seconds, again making it difficult to use. The sink and surrounding counter was at an unusually high level, making it a bit awkward. One day the breakfast room was chaotic with too many people, and the staff was unable to refill the buffet areas fast enough to keep up with the demand. That was the day after Thanksgiving, so the breakfast hours probably should have been extended to a weekend schedule.
- 4/5
Very clean, modern, full amenities, friendly staff. Only stayed one night as we were traveling through, but would definitely stay here again if opportunity arose.
- 5/5
Clean room, easy check in and the staff is super friendly from valet, check in, to hospitality in the kitchen. Everyone was so welcoming!

I have not had this great of an experience at a hotel in a long time. We needed early checks in since theirs is 4pm. And they accommodated earlier than I expected. We had lunch there the food was really good. Their free breakfast is WOW. Opinions and RA pretty good. And made to order options. Loved the rooms!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Nice room.
- 5/5
Yes, the room was amazing just a little hot when we checked in but we turned down the thermostat problem solved.

The room was clean and spotless, i slept real good!! Thank you
- 3/5
Room had a strange smell. Check in took a long time but staff picked up our parking fee to compensate for the inconvenience.
- 5/5
Convenient and clean place to stay, offering complimentary happy hour in the evenings and a decent free breakfast in the mornings! Shout out to Mabel and her cook at the omelette station for being so friendly and fast… only disappointment was the AC didn’t work.
- 5/5
Free drinks and dinner
- 5/5
My stay was as comfortable as could be expected, Staff was friendly and helpful. Some went beyond the call of duty. Tower Cafe served good to excellent food. Flat iron steak was delicious for example.
- 4/5
Room was great, staff very good. Wish that they had more healthy breakfast options.
- 5/5
Great experience and perfect for a family with young kids.
- 5/5
Incredibly attentive and friendly staff, super clean and comfortable rooms, all for a great value.
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely fabulous and welcoming. From the front desk to the bartender at the cocktail reception, to the gentleman that cleared tables during the reception, they were very engaging . I felt like part of the family.
- 5/5
Love the experience. My kid enjoyed swimming. Pool is open very early and closes late. That is a plus for us who love swimming. Food options were great. This hotel has a nice view from the golden gate of Sac and the river. So close and walkable to the Old Sac Downtown.
- 5/5
Had a real good time. Nice hotel n room. Walking distance to old Sacramento.
- 5/5
The front desk was friendly and efficient

10/10 experience from easy quick check in, beautiful lobby, clean room, amazing room service and the breakfast was restaurant quality. Will continue to book our stays here when we are in the area.

They are so great at making you feel like you are #1. It really was a great experience and so comfortable. I would go again and again.

- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, valet parking staff were fast and efficient. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Staff were so helpful and friendly!
- 5/5
The room accommodations were clean and quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. The pool was clean and well maintained as my eyes did not burn when I got out of the pool usually indicating the pH levels of chlorine are off that is not the case here, though everything went smoothly in my family and I were happy we would definitely stay there again and we certainly have!😃
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Rooms overlooking river by bridge get some notice and room is a little dated, but maintained well.
- 5/5
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The lobby is excellent, the staff is excellent and their breakfast is top notch. The only thing I would say could be improved is that the rugs in the rooms should be replaced as they don't look very clean sometimes. I am sure that they are cleaned but they have taken a beating and it's time to replace them. Other than that the rooms are clean and very spacious. We will continue to stay here when we come to Sacramento.
- 5/5
Great Hotel, service was great, restaurant and bar were top notch. Located near a ton of stuff to go do.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly! Loved the happy hour and my stay was very relaxing. Thanks for your hospitality!
- 5/5
Excellent Bar but kind of crowed. people leave their bag in the walking area.
- 5/5
enjoyed the free breakfast before heading out for the day. Having a hotel that offers free breakfast is a big plus because it saves the grief of having to think of a place to eat then getting there.

The location was perfect for an evening stroll while our girls attended a concert at Golden 1. We loved how close it was to the arena. We enjoyed the bar downstairs before walking around the shops nearby. Over all our stay was great at this hotel.
- 5/5
The greatest stay we had in Sacramento. Very clean, looks luxurious, and had professional staff. We had a good experience with the staff and hotel. It felt like we had a premium stay. The breakfast was included and had many options for food. We did have to pay for a valet because there is no place to park on site, only through valet parking. We didnt mind but im sure others would mind because the cost is extra money. We got lucky we arrived by 4pm because in order to purchase valet you would have to be there before valet closes for purchase. After 8pm , I believe, they stop valet purchasing. However if you buy valet then you have access to a valet 24/7. Of course extra days cost more. On another note there is parking nearby but they close at like 1am or so. Thank you staff!
- 3/5
The location is great, plenty of shopping and dining option. A stones throw from Golden1 Center.
- 5/5
Location and all The extra amenities are amazing
- 5/5
Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Great location. Was clean but not like clean clean. Right down street from capital. For price 110% worth it.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
The valet and bell staff were exceptional.
- 5/5
Excellent all around: the room, the staff, the breakfast, the hotel’s location on the river next to old town. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Clean room , breakfast , valet parking , complimentary Tesla charge, hospitality
- 5/5
Staff was super nice and hotel was awesome
- 3/5
My biggest/only complaint is the poor lighting in the rooms. I had to get ready for a wedding and I could barely see what I was doing. The bathroom seems to have a lot of light, but not really.
- 5/5
Great Short stay
- 5/5
Great location near Old Town, yet a bit of road noise. The cheerfulness of the staff stands out. Breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
Great experience, nice rooms, happy hour and free breakfast, what’s not to like.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and efficient. Loved the breakfast and our view was wonderful. I would stay again.
- 4/5
This hotel is always my go-to, due to the size of the rooms and the great location. We walked right over to the A’s game. The last three times though, there is a definite odor in every room we’ve stayed in. Almost like a stale bodyodor type of odor, but I don’t think it’s the individual rooms. I think it’s the filtration system or the ac system. The first time I encountered it, I almost asked if I could change rooms, but decided against it because I had already unpacked. The next time, different room, different floor, same odor. And this last time, exact same odor. I don’t know why it can’t be addressed. I will definitely bring my diffuser with my essential oils next time to try to mask the smell. It can be quite unpleasant, literally woke up, smelling it at 3 AM. Felt compelled to finally mention it in this review. Everything else was wonderful, the valet parking is expensive but so easy. Front desk staff is great. I put a lower rating for “ cleanliness” only due to the smell, everything else in the room was quite clean.
- 5/5
We were there for a short staycation to see family and loved that we were within walking distance from Old town Sacramento!
- 1/5
They have no parking for customers
- 5/5
Close to river, Old Town Sac and A's stadium. All within walking distance. Very nice hotel. Included breakfast has everything one could want for breakfast. Great onsite bar. Excellent staff.
- 3/5
Room was not ready when we arrived and I was not informed of parking being $45 and limited. I had to park in a public parking area that was 15 per entry. I paid more than I would have if there was space at the valet.

- 5/5
This was an excellent stay. The staff was friendly and professional, the suites were fantastic, and the lobby was amazing. The breakfast was superior and the breakfast room was large and comfortable. I felt the valet parking was a bit overpriced at $45 a night, so I self-parked across the street at an inexpensive, well-maintained, covered parking structure.
- 5/5
it was great
- 5/5
Loved it!!
- 5/5
Close to our wedding venue. It’s a nice place.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly. I have never been treated so well at a hotel in all of my life. I definitely plan to return to this location next year.
- 5/5
Fast, easy check in. Room was very quiet even though the freeway was right out our window
- 5/5
Very welcoming environment
- 5/5
Wonderful room. View of the Sacramento River and gold bridge. Very quiet in the room. Clean, well managed. Fabulous Happy Hour and extensive delicious breakfast. Not thrilled with another $45 per day for parking.

The check in process was professional and the location was prefect and food and rooms very good
- 5/5
Checking in was great excellent customer service the room was clean overall, but I don’t understand why they have this filthy rug on the floor under room table! The bedroom phone was disgusting and it didn’t work.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was in a good location with restaurants close by. It was easy to get my car from the valet and quickly get where I needed to go even with some road construction going on.
- 5/5
A great location in Sacramento. The rooms are wonderful too.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and so helpful. I wasn’t feeling well and they let us have a 4pm checkout time.
- 4/5
Great location near Old Sac and plentiful free buffet breakfast
- 5/5
We were staying with you for the first time celebrating my mom's 79th birthday. I requested an early check in which was accommodated and appreciated. After a long drive for an older person, being able to go up to the room at 1:30 was so helpful. Also the valet charged my car Saturday night so I did not have to get up early to find a charging station. This allowed me to sleep easier.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The last two times we’ve stayed here our rooms have been super hot. No air conditioning. Also $45 parking is insane

It was our 38th Anniversary we adked for a river view room and you guys didnt disapoint we just happened to stay the night that the firework shoe was going on in the evening that added to a special night likewe were being celebrated. - 5/5
The complimentary breakfast was great!

This is my go-to when I attend an A's game.
- 5/5
The best in Sacramento. 5 minute’s walk to the Crocker Museum, another gem! Next to river walk. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
Terrific service from start to finish!!! Amazing location. Well worth to cost!!
- 3/5
I was placed in a room that had a view of the HVAC vents. Thanks a lot Embassy Suites. Valet parking is $45 a night, which is ridiculous. To self-park you have to go across the street and it's still about $30 a night.
- 3/5
The staff was great! Unfortunately the AC in our room was out after an hour or so of it not getting cooler we had to get someone to come up and fix it which ended up being why it also smelt in the room. Water had flooded out the bottom of it. Overall the place is fine the breakfast is great but just old town Sacramento is not what it used to be and the overall cleanliness of the rooms was average at best.
- 5/5
Excellent place
- 5/5
Good value especially if you’re a family of five, rooms are big, breakfast is awesome, happy hour is great
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful! Breakfast staff were so helpful and available. Front desk were very attentive and accommodating. Valet parking team were extremely thoughtful and anticipated our needs. Excellent customer service all around!
- 5/5
Great suite and helpful staff
- 5/5
Love the large rooms
- 5/5
We stayed here on a West Coast road trip and it was a perfect stop. We decompressed from our drive with fantastic cocktails and got a great recommendation from the bartenders for a restaurant we could walk to, since I had no desire to get back in the car. BTW, the restaurant was a Chinese place called Frank Fats - a Sacramento institution that I also recommend.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
The location is perfect! You can easily walk to charming Old Town Sacramento, where there are plenty of cute shops and great restaurants. We stayed here while traveling from Colorado to Sacramento for a wedding (August 14–16), and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Thank you to all the staff, you’re doing an incredible job! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
- 5/5
in..Food service was exceptional as well...great location to Ole Town and to watch the A's baseball game...short walk to both areas. Room was exceptional as well.

Or bathroom needed some help. But other than that. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Rooms were nice.
- 4/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the location just a quick walk across the bridge from Sutter Health Park. We came to town to watch the A’s and it was the perfect lodging for us.
- 5/5
We had a fantastic stay, thank you!
- 5/5
From the minute we drove up to the hotel we were greeting by a very nice young man who helped us unload our luggage and made arrangements for parking. The inner court yard of the hotel is beautiful. Our room was huge, great sitting area, large bathroom and bedroom. Beautiful view of the Sacramento River.

Quiet and clean. We checked in after midnight and were gifted complimentary valet. Just wish there more room options for a family of 4.
- 5/5
We were in a king size bed suite. Room was spacious. Bed was comfy, lots of pillows and perfect amount of layers.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fantastic and unexpected.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Staff was amazing and the hotel was very well kept even with the large convention that was going on when we stayed there.
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect, breakfast was good, the room was amazing with a beautiful view of the river and bridge. Would absolutely recommend and would visit again.
- 3/5
This hotel is super close to Old Town & the ballpark so it’s very convenient for that. Check in was okay, they failed to tell us the breakfast hours. The rooms are suites, so there is room to spread out. My issue was the cleanliness of our room. The curtains had blood on them - see pic - and that wasn’t all. The bathroom surfaces were strangely sticky, and the mirror was streaked. If I do ever stay here again, I’ll be bringing a lot of disinfectant wipes. Breakfast was not bad, fresh omelettes to order.
- 5/5
Staffs are amazing.
- 4/5
My family of 4 (2 teenagers) really enjoyed staying in Embassy Suites Sacramento. The Hotel is clean, quiet and more spacious than we imagined! The gentlemen at valet parking were so helpful and friendly. We plan on returning and being regular guests.
- 5/5
Amenities was awesome. Breakfast was good. Resto offerings is a lot
- 3/5
The rooms have a fishy smell and we had to sleep with the windows open and unfortunately our room was facing the road. Other than this, the room was nice and beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Oh enjoyed the pool too!
- 5/5
Service was the best: from the valet to the security to the concierge, everyone was helpful, kind, and good at their job. I will definitely be booking again.
