The room itself was great. However, I had specifically selected this hotel for the airport shuttle since we had a flight out at 5:50 a.m. the next morning. Unfortunately the shuttle only runs every 40 minutes in the morning and the shuttle for the time period that would have worked for our flight was already full when we checked in at 6:30 the night before. The one before that only had one space available. As a special favor, they offered to take us at 2:30 a.m. We ended up paying for a Lift driver who got us there at 4:25. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport so I don't understand why additional shuttles can't be scheduled if there is a need for them.

We had a very nice stay. Nice, clean rooms and good breakfast. I'd recommend this hotel.

Parking is secure enough for a city location. We did not stay long enough for breakfast though it looked quite good as we passed by.

Overall, the stay was just fine and what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn. The only reason I'm giving this a lower rating is because I booked it specifically because it advertised electric car charging. However, when I arrived, the woman said they have it listed because there are wall plugs available outside. Not chargers, but a typical wall outlet which requires you to have a charger available, which isn't what you get with a rental.

The property was nice and the rooms were comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. At one point during our stay, our pets just randomly stopped working. While the front desk was helpful, it was still a bit frustrating. In general the property was clean and well maintained, however, it was apparent they don’t pick up the pool area often. There was trash by the jacuzzi, and it remained all for nights our stay.

Clean, comfortable, and safe. The room was very spacious. Two suggestions though, take down the TV in the breakfast room. Especially if you want to have the channel on a right wing propaganda channel like Newsmax. Also, there was a cheer team staying at the hotel and it would be wise to stack the families on top of each other so that other guest don't have to hear them practicing at 6am!

Reasonable facility for the price

Always my go-to hotel whenever I visit Sacramento! Their breakfast specifically is the main reason, as I love how they keep it different every day, and the staff is always cleaning up and making sure there's food present. Friendly staff and with their renovated rooms its more modern and clean.

When we go to Sacramento for an overnight stay, this is usually our preferred hotel. It is clean and kept updated. The rooms are spacious and have pretty much everything we need. The breakfast is abundant and fresh. Parking is easy.

Breakfast was great--really appreciated the staff and the variety of foods every day. The room was disappointing. Fixtures such as the toilet roll holder were loose and falling off walls, the bathroom light stopped working, there were several spiders running about, and on our first night, we pulled back the comforter on the bed to find stained sheets. Also, the hotel hallways--and the elevator in particular--smelled musty.

We flew in late at night. I was embarrassed to take my daughter to the room. It smelled like marijuana so bad.

The hotel itself was nice, no complaints in the actual hotel, however we traveled with family and they also stayed at the hotel and safety was is a huge concern. Our family member parked where they were told to park in the hotel parking lot and had their Cadillac converter cut in attempt to steal it! There are signs that hotel is not liable for customers parking in their lot, however we were told this is a known issue for the area. Increase in security and lighting would help. There are also no cameras so nice place to stay but park at your own risk, which we didn’t feel was worth it.

Menu for breakfast is low quality but on time Great hotel otherwise. All hotels are about maximizing profit for shareholders these days so quality of food is subpar. Parking was safe and plenty of it available.

Just fine, for a quick stay. Check out is at 11, when walking back from breakfast hotel staff was about to enter our room at 9:45, even though we had not checked out. That’s my only complaint. My 13 year old was still in the room and she would have had to deal with someone walking in on her, which is not ok.

We felt like we were home. Our room, the pool, the gym, the laundry room, and the grounds were clean and organized. The complimentary breakfast was a feast! Lots of options, delicious, and the staff kept everything clean and well organized. Every single staff member greeted us when passing by, everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Although breakfast was included, we were unable to take advantage of it due to our early-morning flight, and the front desk did not offer any grab-and-go option. The hotel is located at the end of a driveway, far from Safeway, fast food, and restaurants, and there were homeless individuals in the area, which did not feel safe to walk around. In addition, although the hotel offers a free airport shuttle, you must call to reserve it after arriving at the airport, and the wait time is about 15 minutes since the shuttle is shared with other nearby hotels. The morning shuttle is also very crowded—even though we took an earlier shuttle at 4:40 a.m. instead of 5:20 a.m. Reservations can only be made at check-in, so you may end up needing to take an Uber or taxi instead (approximately a 15-minute drive).

We didn’t have a chance to sample the breakfast due to having to head to the airport in the wee hours of the morning but the coffee available in the lobby was good and the shuttle driver was really helpful! Bed was very comfortable and the room was great. We would stay here again.

Checked in after 11pm. Shuttle to hotel was good. Check in was slow because only one clerk on duty and there were two people ahead of me. He was very efficient and thorough. When we arrived at the hotel, around 6:15 pm, to leave our luggage in our room before going to the car rental drop off, we were told that the shuttle service was unavailable, beause the driver had gone home and that we should call an Uber.

staff was inattentive, rude, dismissive, and lazy. I had to say Hello to them before I was greeted. Check in guy was rude and did not feel like he wanted to be there. it was our wedding day but he made use feel like he had other things to do. We also requested a late check out and were assured we would get a call in the morning since the night staff could not help us. No call was placed to our room. Luckily I woke up early and was able to request a late check out since we had a late night and no call was placed to our room. When i asked for late check out the front desk made it seem like we were giving them a hard time. terrible service and experience. The room's bathroom was also filled with tiny bugs. many bugs were crawling through the towels we were provided to clean ourselves. I can guarantee I will never recommend this place to anyone. this was supposed to be a treat for my wife but she was horrified by our stay. the only reason we stayed was because we were so exhausted that we had to sleep before we continued traveling to our home. I would give negative points if i could

Only down sides, I was woken up a few times by guests in the hall at 2 and 3am but we were near the elevator. Requested a shuttle ride to the airport early morning, it was nice to get a reminder call and were very prompt. Breakfast was amazing! I love the variety each day. And last but not least I love how coffee is served 24 hrs a day, my favorite part. If given the chance I will definitely be staying again if the chance arises.

We were so happy to have the hotel shuttle to pick us up from the airport so late at night and to bring us to the rental car pickup in the morning, what a godsend. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the room was exactly as expected.

Location is in a good area close to dinning, airport and freeway. The pool and workout area was off limits. My room looked nothing to the pictures on Expedia or the web. Either than that it was ok, clean and plenty of towels.

For rhe money that I was charged for a 2 queen room I arrived and was told I had been upgraded to a king suite, 1 king and a pull out. I had 4 people and this was not an upgrade. After a conversation about compensation I was told she would credit my Hilton Honors for a free night. This has yet to happen after 4 nights passing. When we got to our room it smelled stale and the bathtub had a hole where the overflow goes in instead. When my kids pulled out the pullout couch there were springs poking through! I returned to the front desk instantly and asked for something to be done. At that point she offered me a brand new King suite on the 3rd floor. This room was the same that they gave me but remodeled and very nice. My kids came up and showered there and then slept in the other old room. This was just a disaster. Also the beautiful pool on the pictures was shut down for renovations. I do not recommend to anyone till all their chaos is over.

I booked this place for the cleanliness, hot tub, breakfast in the Orbitz listing. Nothing but CONSTRUCTION upon arrival. The entire lobby is not existent and is now moved into a hallway where the fitness room once was. The breakfast coffee warmers /containers, a few candy bars, and one treadmill was also bordering the table, turned lobby, which was manned by one employee. The entire pool/hot tub area was closed. My room was on third floor, so I decided to just deal with the ground floor construction, but then the elevator was lined in thin plastic (luggage wheels)and a taped note said 2nd floor was under construction. Third floor hallway reeked of fresh paint. My room luckily did not smell and was clean. The mismatched chairs at the table reminded us of the renovation zone we were in though! I asked about not staying with reimbursement, but since I had booked through a third party, that was refused. Personally, I use Orbitz and expect them to not recommend disasters/renovations. If I can’t trust the information presented, then I would have to call directly and bypass Orbitz.

Front desk person was unfriendly. Not rude, just cold. Certainly wasn't helpful. Bad first impression especially since we had stayed there 2 weeks earlier and had a front desk person who was friendly, helpful and went the extra for anyone checki g in. First impressions are important!

I booked this room because of the airport shuttle. The front desk had difficulty locating my reservation, so that part was frustrating, waiting outside at the airport not knowing if I had a room for the night. After a few phone calls, I came up with a confirmation number that worked, and all was good from there.

Would definitely stay again. The only issue we had was that our room was never serviced, i had to ask the front desk for fresh towels.

Enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights, 4 days. Check-out was at 11am, which was enough time for us to gather all our things and our three boys (8, 4, 3). We clogged the toilet and they immediately offered us another, comparable room to move into. We refused the room because we had already unpacked, so they gave us access to another/empty room’s bathroom until they could unclog the toilet. They ended up unclogging it within an hour anyway, which was very convenient. The staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was standard, which we expected. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7, which is especially helpful. There is a coffee machine in the room as well, and coffee/cream for the in-room machines are available whenever you need it at the front desk. Overall, everything was easily accessible, the staff were helpful, and the room was big enough for our family of five. I’d return the next time we stay in Sacramento (which will likely be for the Thanksgiving Holiday next year, again).

Construction happening on 3rd floor limiting parking, but no issues otherwise.

Very comfortable over night stay before flying out from the Sacramento airport. The hotel shuttle was very convenient and helpful.
