Clean room

The breakfast was just so-so. Not the same quality breakfast I had the last time I stayed there. The staff was polite, respectful and handled the various questions and issues we had there. The pool was clean but extremely hot, too hot for any real swim time. The pass-key door was not working and the staff had to place a rubber sign in order to keep it open. A recommendation for this location: a shower towel holder should be placed near the shower, not near the sink. You have a real hazard and liability issue because a person would have to exit the shower and walk to the rack where the towels are kept, possibly creating a problem where the person could slip on the wet floor. My wife and I both slipped but caught ourselves and nothing happened. We are over 75 years old and not as limber as we were 50 years ago. A simple towel holder right next to the shower/tub would prevent accidents from happening.

It was ok.

We booked this hotel for a flight to Europe. We were unaware of the construction project and closure of significant parking areas. They also did not offer park and fly which is the reason we chose this hotel. Our room was on the ground floor and we awoke to beeping from construction trucks and workers yelling at each other at 6:30AM. We were not pleased. We had to drive our car to the airport instead of using the shuttle as we had planned and have done so for the past 3 years when flying out of SMF airport. We will not be staying again until at least 2027 when the construction is scheduled to be complete.

Great hotel

The hotel is well maintained and the staff is excellent. The accessible rooms need better bathroom features, Shower stools and walk in showers rather then a tub.

A great place to stay, the staff were very helpful, room was clean, the breakfast was great. I also like the fact you can park your car long term if necessary.

My stay was very pleasant. The room was clean, and the breakfast was quite enjoyable. There was ample parking available, and the location is conveniently close to various dining options. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment.

We only stayed one night on our way to Hawaii. The free Shuttle was very convenient and easy to set up.

I did ask for a partial refund but according to the Hotels.com staff member that I chatted with, at the hotels recommendation, they were unable to reach the hotel. A front desk member instructed me to reach out to Hotels.com and that they would contact the hotel to initiate the refund. I have heard nothing back and was still charged the full amount for the room. We will choose somewhere else to stay on our next trip.

I've stayed at numerous hotels with standard free breakfasts; this one was one of the better ones as it had healthy options such as turkey sausage, cheese omelets and real milk for coffee.

Waited too long for hot water in shower. No wonder California cries about water. Use recirculating pumps for your hot water to ready at the tap.

Easy check in, room was ready. Front desk staff was able to accommodate my mom in a ground level room which was nice for her. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space for luggage. Prefect for a night before heading out of Sac.

The staff went out of their way. I dealt with 3 different people and they all treated me like I was a 5 star hotel client. Haven’t stayed in a Holiday Inn in years staff like that makes me wonder why not.

Our room was spacious, filled with all the extras needed for staying at a hotel/motel. Clean room, real coffee pods, plenty of plugs for charging up our electrical items decent bath towels, plenty of free parking, easy on/off the freeway, plenty of eating establishments around, close to the airport and a stay & fly program. The best we've been to in Sacramento. This is our permanent keeper!

I’ve stayed here a couple of times already and had not had any issues. This time however, I was disappointed when I walked into the room. I had reserved a king bed and what I got was a double bed room because the front states there were no more king bed rooms. Very disappointed.

I had to cancel a stay and the f#(ktards wouldnt refund my money. F#(k them and f#(k hotels.com, I'll never use either again.

This hotel did not give me a refund after things out of my control were changed and we didn't even get to Sacramento the night of our stay.

The food, room, and staff especially Christmas night she was wonderful.

The credit card (not mine) Expedia gave Holiday Inn declined, and I had to wait 45 minutes to check in.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The only problem was the hot portion of the breakfast…it was terrible…the omelettes and chicken sausage looked horrible. To call the eggs an omelet was a joke. I opted for the cold cereal.

We loved our week-long stay here as it was a clean and comfortable place to relax and rest. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and the parking lot was well lit. Breakfast was tasty and dining area maintained by great staff. It was helpful to have printer access and the pool was very nice.

I liked the location and the shuttle service We had no hot water for a shower in the morning and when I told the lady at the front desk she said she would tell them about it but when I asked for a discount she said nothing and I did not receive a discount. When you’re paying over 200.00 for one night and can’t even take a shower before a very long day of travel I feel you should get something for that.

There was a nasty crusty red stain/not cleaned dried liquid with a plastic cup next to bed. Food and a pill under desk. And the bed was horrendous(old, could feel coils, large swag in mattress, and felt wet/damp) the smell was bad in room too.

What we didnt appreciate was on the morning of 8/22/25 we informed the front desk that we would like housekeeping to attend our room while we were out returning that afternoon to get ready for an event and we were not attended to until the next day.

The room smelled of a toxic stench of pet urine and other unmentionable items. It just got worse from there. The dining area and corridors were hot with no discernible air conditioning. The night clerk put me at significant risk of a medical emergency by being very inflexible, rude and inhospitable and does not belong in a customer service/ hospitality job. As of the moment of this writing, the bathroom door has somehow locked and jammed on its own. It’s only bern 3 hours since checkin at this point.

Spoke to staff about late check out when I checked in and when I stepped away in the morning and I came back found all my things missing from the room. Dealing with front lobby people was like talking to a wall

No hairdryer in the room. I called the front desk from the phone that had all the service buttons removed, no one ever answered. The “charging station” is a 110 outlet. Pay a few bucks more and stay somewhere where they actually want you

Other reviews were positive so I checked prices on several web sites.

When I initially called, I was told no rooms were available. But when I looked for another room online, it showed an option to book a room here, which I did. When I called the front desk for the shuttle service after booking my room, she seemed upset that I had been able to book a room online. I’m not sure why she wouldn’t want to put a paying customer in a room that was empty at nearly midnight.

bREAKFAST WAS FROM6AM-10AM. I went to breakfast at 8am and had to wait21 m inutes for them to restock the eggs and potatoes. N ot acceptable. Also upon leaving I asked for a receipt which they ga ve me for $207.89 which was correct. but when I got home I noticed they charged my card $227.89

The Staff is great! All very friendly and helpful. Needed shuttle after dropped off rental, was there within 5 minutes, very friendly. Needed shuttle to catch early flight. Had 435 reservation, but was early. Bus had just left, but was picking up next door. Staff called him and he came back after the other hotel and picked us up. We were able to be at the airport and ready early. We would recommend this hotel!

The hotel itself is nice and conveniently located. I have stayed there multiple times but this last time my car was broken into and my window smashed. This happened in the hotel parking lot. I understand this isn’t their fault but I won’t e staying again. Security was nice enough to cover the broken window to keep the rain out but no one notified me. I only discovered it in the morning when I went to leave.

After my flight was canceled due to weather, I was able quickly secure a room & transportation to & from the hotel. The staff were super friendly and compassionate to my situation. My accommodations were quite comfortable and several nearby restaurants were within 1-2 minute walk. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect! I loved the made to order pancake machine!

Hotel is fine. Check in took forever due to Management staffing, young lady was very nice and knowledgeable.

I stay here routinely, and have never had issues before. During this stay, we received a room that was covered in ants, and large spider webs in every corner. All over the bed, desk, floor, bathroom. The desk clerk had no problem in providing us another room. We got into that room, on another floor, and exact same issue. Ants everywhere. Floors full of hair, almost as if the room didnt get cleaned from the guests prior. Called the front desk AGAIN, and they initially wanted to charge me more for an "upgraded" room. I ended up getting a 3rd room with out further issues. No ants in that room, but the spider webs and dirty floors still existed.

Staff appeared apathetic. Airport parking daily rate on Expedia stated $10/day, staff stated it has been $15/day for a long time and would not honor Expedia rate. Only storing vehicle for a couple of nights so no big deal, but the 2 desk people’s attitude was incredibly irritating.

Clean property with friendly staff however i asked for room service on 2nd day of my stay, room was cleaned. Someone came and opened the blinds, however bed wasn't done and towels weren't restocked!!!

I felt safe walking outside and to get some food. Lots of places close with in walking distance to choose from. Grounds are clean.
