Great hotel, room was very large, clean, bathroom was very clean and bed was comfy

Con: On several occasions we hard a dog barking and people talking in the hall. We had the breakfast buffet and it was NOT worth it for the money you pay. It was almost $30.00 for two of us. I get a better free continental breakfast at other hotels.

Super clean, welcoming staff, quiet, super fun pool for all ages, they even welcomed us with my name on the tv. Overall an awesome stay.

The beds were very comfortable, the hotel and room were very clean, breakfast buffet was great and all front desk staff was super friendly. The location was close to stores & restaurants which was very convenient. It was also nice having laundry facilities on site for an extended stay.

Shower could be hotter, water coming out of the tub spout was nice and hot but would not come out the shower head at that temperature. Everything else was great.

I'm growing weary of this situation,. This stay, even the TV didn't work. After a phone call to the front desk, someone came up to confirm it didn't work, still nothing was done ...wont be returning to this Hilton Garden. Otherwise it's a nice property. Too bad.

The room was in good condition. The lights over the nightstand didn't work. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and don't forget to add breakfast to your room when you reserve it. The ice machine was out the last two days of our stay. And they ran out of quarters for the laundry machines.

Fire alarm set off at 0200 in the morning by a drunken reunion group microwaving popcorn until it catches fire.

Everything was great for our stay. The only bad thing was the fire. Alarm went off when we were asleep on Saturday evening. Apparently somebody burned their popcorn. But that’s not a hotel problem. Lol

Overall a good stay but the bed needs to be updated. The y was not supportive at all and we both woke up with back aches. The ac in the living room was right next to the sofa and blows right on anyone sitting there and had a humid musty smell. It was beautiful outside this week so fresh air would have been great. The windows should slide open but one only opened about an inch and the other did not open at all.

Hotel was very nice but they charged for breakfast which was awful. I have had many complimentary breakfast at other hotels that were far superior.

Tv box was mounted to the back of the tv so couldn’t change channels without holding the remote behind the tv. Good value otherwise.

Mold in grout line of shower. Otherwise the room was clean, updated, spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was lazy and rude esp Sarah they just want to sit on their phones and not work … they put a extra charge for 41 dollars on my account and no one can explain anything I called them afternoon showed up on my statement and they are clueless and RUDE dogs everywhere… hair everywhere disgusting

Unfortunately all around the surrounding grassy areas had garbage scattered; looks like it came from Arbuda Dham based on the food garbage I walked around. Room was spacious. Beds were soft for my preference. My son went to the pool. He said it was a little small yet water was lukewarm. Overall, a great set up for dogs and a good value that is about a 7 minute drive to downtown St. Charles.

Its a nice hotel. The surrounding area is nice. Essy access to shopping and dining options are many.

Our room had shampoo and conditioner installed in the bathroom, but both were empty. The room is advertised with having a jacuzzi. But it doesn’t come with one. Just a bath tub. I also asked for a crib, because they advertise they offer some. And was given a pack and play that is way too low for a newborn to go in. When I brouhht this up to the staff they looked at me like I was crazy. And lastly, as delicious as breakfast is. The ladies serving it are very rude and seemed like they just cared to get a tip. Will definitely be saving myself some money next time and staying in any other hotel in the area.

Loved the stay. I wish the pool was a little warmer but it was really clean. The older lady that workers at night had a little bit of an attitude the first couple nights but she was okay after that. Would come back for a stay!

Very nice, quiet room. Only issues I had is that the photo and description of the room included a fireplace when booking, it did not have one. Also, when I booked I chose the version that allowed cancellation, but was told later that it was not cancelleble.

We did get 2 rooms and in one of the rooms the toilet had a leak but other than that everything was great!

This was our first time booking at The Hilton in St. Charles, but frequently book at other hotels and inns in the same town. Based on the condition, friendly staff, cleanliness, this won't be our last booking here and will book here more often. You get your choice of an individualized made to order breakfast or you can choose the buffet. The food is high quality and AMAZING..... especially the scrambled eggs being so fluffy, moist, and a tiny hint of sweetness and the sausage! We had a wonderful stay! The inn has been renovated recently and is still undergoing I hear.

Fast and easy

We had a problem with our Internet or cable or whatever you call it and then we received a free breakfast and when we sat down, we were not aware of how to do it and ended up leaving and not using the free breakfast

It was very clean. Walmart and Target were right around the corner which was convenient. The amenities were not great. Both treadmills in the fitness center were broken. Total of 2 washers and 2 dryers for laundry. 1 of each was broken. Very complicated process to use printer. The staff didn’t even know the process. The gentleman at the front desk was gracious enough to allow me to email my documents to him and he printed them on the staff printer.

Toilet didn’t flush properly.

Friendly staff, quick check in, breakfast was good, and easy parking. Less than 5 mins from downtown, lots of food options downtown.

On check out day the housekeeper tried to enter my room 4 times while we were sleeping check wasn’t until noon and it started busting in at 7

I submitted a refund request, I did not stay at the property I left 45 minutes after arrival, I had a cleaning person come into the room like crazy she said she didn't know it was occupied, then 20 minutes later samethimg with the maintenance crew they they said they had to shot the water off to work on the unit below at that point I left, I didn't use anything in the room therefore I am requesting a FULL refund it's ridiculous that I came in and within an hour I am bother 3 different times.

This hotel has no safety measures. Our car was broken into over night and Items were stolen from our vehicle. The front desk were useless, inconsiderate, and the hotel has no cameras in around it or in the parking lot.

Just have more towels in the room: 2 per person. Plus soap for sink AND for shower

The hotel was nice, updated and clean. However, one of the reasons we picked this hotel versus the others nearby was the hot tub and, unfortunately, it has been closed since the start of COVID. It does not say that here on Hotels.com. I was told at the front desk that it does say it on their website, but I did not check. Other than that, our fan in the bathroom didn't work or was nonexistent and the shower curtain was coming apart, clean, but falling apart. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The room was quite clean. The bed was very nice I did not wake up with back ache. Only thing was it took me a little bit 2 figure out walk in shower.

We love this hotel, we have booked this several times already. Bed’s are comfortable and the staff are honest. My wife forgot her phone charger and they reached out to me the next day after I called them. To notify me that they did find it.

Then the older lady in kitchen. I got there at 10 am to get fruit for my grandson and she cut me off stating kitchen closes at 10 am I stated I realize that didn’t want anything from kitchen just to get fruit from a basket on counter top. She stated they closed at 10 Front desk representative heard this and said nothing. Horrible

Very clean, nice bedding. Larger pillow was very flat. Hallway carpet smed very dusty like it had been vacumed and the filter needed changed. Everything else was great!

Not a big deal but i arrived to my hotel and a food delivery servive had left it outside my door. This made me a little nervous to enter my room, upon doing so no one was in it and I called the front desk to let them know. I had jusr checked in, not even unpacked and they asked me to bring the food to the front and then shared they knew it was there because the driver had asked to leave it in front of our door early. We arrived at 6:45, the food ticket said it was dropped off at 6:15. Very strange situation overall. The staff were nice enough but as a customer staying at their establishment I felt it was awkward and not appropriate to ask me to bring it down and then share they were aware of it.

Just my opinion. Everything was very clean, several sets of towels. Hotel had a restaurant/bar open for a few hours in the evening and breakfast made to order in the morning. I didn’t eat there so I cannot comment on the food. They also charge $10 for parking, not sure why…it’s all outside parking lot parking. I would go back if I need a room in the area.

Cons: Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom floor was dirty, sticky substance all over the desk chair, stains on the upholstered chair. The breakfast was 9.95 for a continental breakfast and 13.95 if you included eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. This was not worth the price: waffles were terrible. We went elsewhere for breakfast the other 3 days of our stay.
