Very friendly I recommend this place

the only disappointment was i was told by one of the staff that i would be able to have a night swim, he gave me a business card with his name and wrote my name & room number on it and he told me to show it if someone told me to leave the pool. well the doors are electronic and are timed so the pool was not accessible to me as I had been told. other than that, everything was fine.

The staff was great.

The only main issue was that our vehicle was broken into overnight, and the passenger seat was damaged. I wish they had more security in the area. The staff was friendly, but I don’t think we’ll be going back due to safety concerns.

Very nice staff and property

The hotel was awesome! The manager, think her name was Kayla, was awesome. Very professional. The ac in lobby and hallway on 2nd floor must’ve been broke. Very warm there but the room was very cold!! Beds were very comfortable but a little too high to get in! lol I would stay there again!

I like everything

The desk manager during the day was training a new person very friendly. But my credit card was charged 5 times for my one stay at the hotel on a Sunday. She said I would have to wait 3 to 5 days for my money to be refunded to my bank. Even if it was there fault i got charged the excessive amount. I have received a partial amount as of Wednesday. Still waiting on the balance. It was an inconvenience because not everyone has money to just wait. It put us in a bind to travel back home with limited amount of money for gas and good.

Good bed

There was no hot water in the shower, no hair dryer in the room. The door to the room wasn't sealed properly and one walking by could see into the room.

Restaurant/bar and pool were closed which weren’t advertised and the pool was one of the main reasons we booked here. One of our party’s car was broken into and property stolen. Management was rude to patrons. Price was good but certainly not worth the hassle.

In general, I would not recommend this property for travelers staying in San Antonio.

When we arrived, we were told the rooms were not ready yet ( 4:30 pm). The older receptionist told us, it wasn’t her fault that she could only do so much and she was at an age where she was not going to stress out. She said the housekeeping dept had failed to do their job and the front seat he not been notified. So, after Luke 1 hour of waiting, we got our keys. By that time there were a group of people waiting in the lobby. There was only 1 elevator, we had to get dressed so we took the stairs to the second floor. We get to our room and the keys don’t work. Had to go back down the stairs again to get them fixed. The room was ok, the lighting in the restroom was not too great. Other than that it was ok

We did not have a trash can, asked 3 times and finally got one our last night. Pool and hot tub not working. This was not communicated. I would have stayed somewhere cheaper if I had known… no discount offered. Asked for more towels and had to go seek them out because they weren’t given to us. I had to park in the back and found out the pool ( the only door in the back) wouldn’t open. I had to walk around the side. The area was unlit and dark. My concern is not for me but my mom or other more vulnerable people who may have to get in that way. Most of the staff was very nice. You just didn’t have it together.

Check-in was at three we didn’t get into our room until almost 4. The lady at the front counter was rude to her staff and two customers.

It was clean and comfortable enough. Breakfast was decent, staff was great! One elevator broken the other made awful sounds. Pool was freezing, hot tub lukewarm and jets barely ran. Room was ok size but not real big and we had booked the upgraded room.

Well the bar was closed for construction, no notice, the carpets in the room were torn, I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night, the 1st room was on top of the air conditioner generators causing a very loud noise in the room. Terrible sleep night

Hotel room stunk like a wet dog and cheap cologne. I purposely booked a gotel in that area with an indoor heated pool.. hesting for pool did not work.. neither did the hot tub.

The hotel was understaffed for the number of people checking in. The front desk lady was doing her best but a huge bus full of people showed up and on top of that the line was 6 deep with more check-ins.

Overall experience was great

Paid for king bed premium room and got 2 queen beds room.

Only issue was the print on the A/C was very tiny.. These old eyes could not make it out.

Room was spotless and staff was very courteous. Definitely will be staying there again.

The hotel workers mainly mr. Marcus at the front desk made our stay better, initially I booked a room from the website that was not available in years but still labeled on the expedia website and the holiday inn main website for the site its been years so,I chose this hotem for my 11th year anniversary and wife birthday specifically for that room and it had not exist in years ,the gm blamed expedia i have not pictures and plenty evidence on this but mot have been compensated in any way there is NO PREMIUM KING WITH HOT TUB IN ROOM AVAILABLE ANYMORE HERE AT THIS HOTEL.

This might be the fault of Expedia but the rooms were remodeled and no longer have the honeymoon spa in the bedroom. Also they didn't have a hair dryer which my wife was not pleased because she forgot hers and most places have one.

The hotel's breakfast was ok, limited amounts of food and variety. Parking lot is small but feels safe. Theresa Long ( manager on duty ). Helped as much as she could. Room that i was portrayed on line was not offered on site.

How the ladies who all works up front where so nice every morning and evening and made myself and family feel very welcome. The room was very clean and beds so comfortable. Amazing place to stay There was nothing that myself and family didn’t everything was great staff and room highly recommend

The gym has very limited weight selection and the floor was very dirty.

The room had a faint smell stale smell and the door did not have the security lock and the top.

Breakfast was awesome. The staff were very courteous and polite (especially the restaurant). No intercom/phone in my room. They said it’s due to the renovation (though they later offered to change my room the next day).

The dam pool was closed !!!! 2nd hotel that day where pool was closed - Texas is HOT people !!!! If ur gonna close the pool for renovations do it in January!!!! Also / booking.com needs some kind of notifier on this as this was not known at booking !!! The only reason I chose this location was due to indoor pool !!! Pool was closed ! The room smelled musky like humidity with cig smoke . Breakfast was meh.

Staff was great. Hotel was under construction in some places which left the back parking lot a little messy. The room smelled like stale smoke. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I had to move 3 times and still wasn't accommodated properly. 1st move was because toilet would not flush; 2nd move the TV wasn't setup for all channels; 3rd move there was no hot water.

Staff at the front desk was not so friendly. Our card was not reading and said it was on her side but then was like well your card is pretty beat up to. She also got me to sign up for the reward program and spin a wheel for a prize and did not load the prize on my reward points. Room was pretty warm as well. Overall was not a great stay!

I was scheduled to stay here two nights 09/09/2025-09/10/2025. The first night I showed up and everything was ok. You could tell it is an older hotel. I travel for business so I stay in a lot of different hotels. When I came out the next morning to hit the road, I got in my truck and notice my glove box and console was open and its contents where in my seat and when I turned around my back glass was shattered. I took pictures and went back inside to show the staff. He said yep and already had a stack of paper with the police department contact on it to file a report. He said they won’t even come out anymore they will take the report over the phone. I said man how often is this happening. Then another employee stated that they have been on a streak lately of not having any break-ins. Obviously these guys are aware they have a problem and refuse to put up security camera or higher a security guy to patrol at night. I understand there is a cost associated with hiring security but there is also a cost associated with bad reviews and guys like me refusing to stay there again.

It’s tucked away and comfy. They were updating it so the small messes were around but not in the rooms. The rooms were clean.

Taking it all around I am a very happy traveler. I did not sample the breakfast but I'm sure it was in keeping with the rest of the hotel - very good.

After checkin in we came up to our room to find another person booked in the same room. We had to figure all that out with 2 screaming children waiting. Then got charged $14 for food that the other person must have billed. And the receptionist was not at all sympathetic

This hotel was amazing from the time we got there and checked in the bar was open until 11. We were able to walk to the bar across the street to get food and drinks and enjoy music. The breakfast was amazing and fresh every morning the three mornings we were there And the staff was willing to help with anything we needed as an extra towels or clean towels for the room. The bed was amazing. The comforter was comforting, and the air conditioner worked a great. I will definitely be booking again with them.

Credit card machines did not work. Two gentlemen at FD were unhelpful and suggested it was my card, not their system. Only one gent working the bar and having to juggle the kitchen duties too. Promised an email with my receipts attached which never showed up.

I selected the room by the amenities. We had no microwave and was told not all rooms do. The main door clunked all night, bathroom door squeaked terrible, they had the cheap mini blinds were broke and the outside lights shined in all night. Bed too hard. The guy at checkout was more worried about his cell phone. Won’t be back

The hotel is nice and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal!!! The two women who work in the restaurant were super friendly and cooked excellent tasting breakfast. Not your run of the mill hotel breakfast, the eggs were actually flavorful. We could tell that they cooked with love.

The overall stay was great! We had to wait an hour to check into our room even though I had a reservation since January. But the gentleman at the front desk was kind and apologetic!

The morning that we were getting ready to leave the fire alarm system started to go off in our room. I believe the shower steam set off the alarm system, and it went on and off for about 30 minutes. I turned down the temperature in the room and finally the system turned off.

Enjoyed my 2 nights. Property was clean and wll maintained. Would stay there again!

We were lookin forward to the indoor pool but during our check-in found out it was closed. So that was a dummer. Other then that everything else was great

We booked this stay through hotels.com. we booked and prepaid for a king room with walk in shower because my husband has a disability and cannot step into a tub. Instead of that room we were given a double queen room with a tub. When my husband requested to be changed to a walk in shower he was told that they couldn't do that. We should have been notified either by hotels.com or the hotel itself that what we requested was not available. This was a huge inconvenience because my husband was ubable to shower the whole weekend.

The hotel was clean, and quiet. However the parking area was small. The back parking area had Big Trash Bins for construction in the way. There wasn't a sign in the back that directed you to the entrance of the building through the back parking area. Otherwise the stay way great!

One of the best hotels I’ve visited! They have a nice bar and the bartender is one of the best I’ve met Tim, he’s great! The rooms have everything you need including microwaves and mini fridge. Friendly staff!

I booked the room through Hotels.com. I checked in, got the room keys, and put $20.00 down for incidentals. The next morning, they tried to enter the room, said we were a no show, and that we hadn’t paid. After several minutes and getting the manager involved, it was resolved.
