Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness, helpfulness, and attentive service. The rooms are generally described as clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with some exceptions. However, the hotel's exterior and surrounding area are often criticized for being run-down, unsafe, or unappealing. The hotel is frequently commended for its affordability and good value for the price.

It was completely different from the photos shown when booking. I tried to ignore it and just sleep for night, but seeing cockroaches was shocking. It was the worst experience.

When we first arrived we didn’t have hot water but it was fixed immediately and the staff was very helpful and nice. Our room was clean, they accommodated our needs. Would visit again!

Honestly it’s horrible Dirty smelly it looks like a prostitution ring
- 4/5
Room was nice and big beds- facilities looked a bit dull and in need of renovation. There was a no-pet policy, however, there was a dog barking for hours close to our room. The tv in the room was extremely tiny but did its job. No major complaints, my family and I slept good and there are breakfast restaurants close by. Good location

Went for Air Force graduation for 3 days and it was perfect. Close to the base barely had to wait in traffic.. the outside looks janky but once you go in the room you'll settle in just fine. I'd stay again. The workers and receptionist were more than accommodating. it's 15-20 min from river walk. And close to all main attractions. easy in and out since it close to getting on the highway. Plus there's a Mexican restaurant called big poppa tacos that's like 7 min away from the place and it was 🔥.10/10 large portions for the low low. Again it looks crazy from the outside but those be the best spots and hidden gems

The room was felty dirty with a pile of food leftovers on a side table, the mattresses had no sheets or bedding and it had a horrible odor, we didn’t stay, the clerk apologized and said that he wrote a note to you, so I can have a full refund
- 2/5
Do not bring your family here.
- 1/5
I pulled into the parking lot and I couldn’t believe how horrible the place looked. It looked dirty, unsafe, unclean. Dark and gloomy. Shady individuals lurking outside. I know what drug addicted homeless people look like and this place was a hub for them. I did not get off the vehicle much less stay the night. We never checked in. I’m surprised your company does business with the likes of these places.

This place was filthy! I get that the price was budget friendly, but I want my room to be clean. The floor to the room was soaked and had dirty footprints leading into the bathroom. The area is sketchy at best. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! You’re welcome!

Breakfast??
- 3/5
It was only meant for a quick stay. Small rooms. Water pressure was not good. Hotel staff was friendly and polite.
- 1/5
This place is dirty, old and run down. The linens were in shreds exposing the dirty mattress. Everything was horrendous from the paint to the location to the smell inside and out. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
- 5/5
Office Had The Greatest Hospitality That I Have Ever Received In Any 5 Star Hotel Not To Mention Their Staff Was Wonderful And Very Quick To Get You Any Amenities Required. The Rooms Where So Spotless That You Could Even Eat Off The Floor.I Highly Recommend This OYO Motel. Thanks Again To The Management & Employees.Keep Up The Good Work.Sincerely, Happy Guest # 117

Never checked in never stayed there. They refused to give me my money back and they were demanding $200 more after it was already paid in full on a credit card. They’re a rip off. They’re a scam.
- 5/5
Excellent location, been there twice for USAF Graduation
- 4/5
However, the room was clean and the walls solid. I had neighbors, but I never heard anything. I had everything I needed - TV, wifi, microwave and fridge. A coffee maker would have been nice, but otherwise I had everything I needed. It was definitely worth the cost. I would recommend for those on a budget.

Sink was missing a drain pipe. Room was stuffy when we walked in,

Customer service was great
- 5/5
Good, affordable place to stay but not in the best neighborhood.
- 2/5
The pool was padlocked, i reserved a room with two king size beds none was available upon arrival. No towels, or soap in the room. Dirty linens. Not at all what i was expecting for 77 dollars
- 5/5
Amazing

Exactly what I thought it would be.
- 4/5
Owners were great. Room was fine for our 2 night stay.
- 1/5
The space
- 1/5
Hotel room was extremely dirty and disgusting. Sink had dirty water in it and with used hand soap bars. The toilet was dirty and the seat was cracked as well as the tiles were broken and missing around the toilet seat itself. I don’t understand how they expect someone to stay in hotel rooms that have not been clean or attended to properly. Horrible experience and poor hospitality.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
There was trash on the ground to the side of the building and the facility looked run down
- 5/5
Check in and check out was fast and easy.. was very close to the Air base , hotel is a little old but it has the amenities needed..
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very clean and quiet. Also secure to ensure a safe stay. Would definitely stay here again. Comfy bed.
- 5/5
It was an older, affordable hotel with hospitality. Check in and out was easy. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
Customer service could be a lot better but the hotel was Okay & clean.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
Booked this hotel because it was close to the Lackland Air Force base. Worst experience ever the floor was dirty and disgusting. The bathroom wasn’t fit to shower in the water was cold and we had to clean it out before showering. There are no amenities. Customer service was great they just need to up grade not to mention the 32 inch tv
- 5/5
Very friendly, courteous, affordable. Only thing that could be better is the beds sheets were bit strained and chair was missing arem cushions. However for the price totally understandable
- 1/5
Bathroom ceiling and walls rotten falling apart. Dog poop on room entry threshold. Did not make up room or leave fresh towels. Homeless people hovering around hotel. Extremely loud highway noise.
- 1/5
Disgusting
- 5/5

- 1/5
The room where not clean, towels was dirty, roaches was in rooms just overall not a place I would ever stay again
- 2/5
There were two light switches that did nothing. The outlet on one side of the bed had no power. There was no remote for the TV. The towels were thread bare. There was an ironing board but no iron. One pillow was rock hard, another was barely a pillow.
- 4/5
Had to slam the door shut several times before it closed, the guests staying there looks very shady and we would always smell weed around the area and guests alway just outside the area parking lot stairs late at night. Definitely affordable and convenient just didn’t feel secure.
- 5/5
Easy access to all destinations.
- 1/5
It is in a very shady area, our room was dirty from the get go, someone had left stuff in our room,so they didnt clean it. We saw a roach come out of nowhere, they gave us a new room,no discount no empathy, very scary situation traveling with kids
- 5/5
I had a nice trip and staying here added to my trip
- 5/5
Very clean. Not a great area.
- 5/5
A couple small negatives...every towel in my room was stained. For the price of the room Id call that a minor inconvenience I solved for $8. The surrounding neighborhood has seen better days, but that seems to be the case for everything surrounding the bases. If I find myself in the area again I'd stay here no question
- 2/5
Initially while trying to check into my room, the room wasn't ready and waiting at least half an hour to get settled in. While trying to settle down, we found out that the heater didn't work and there was some filth in the mini fridge. I was able to get is switched to another room that was more accommodating and a bit cleaner. Staff was very nice and accommodating, the overall facility is not exactly up to par, but good if you need something cheap for the night if you're passing through.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
Horrible and terrible management
- 1/5
Shower did not drain, shower mixing valve was backwards, hot setting gets cold water and cold gets hot water, shower head was blocked internally where there was barely any water coming out. Room was hot so beds were hot, took long to cool where you were comfortable. Basically very poor maintenance based on my room. I should book sooner so I can get better hotel.
- 1/5
The room was very old and in poor condition. I left and went to another hotel.
- 5/5
Stayed at the hotel was excellent
- 1/5
Shower didn’t work so we had to take a shower next door in a room they had rented out for an hour (what do you think was going on there?) and wasn't yet cleaned. I told my wife and 3 y.o. daughter don't touch anything. If i would have done my due diligence, i would never had stayed there. Worst room i have ever rented and will have nightmares for the rest of my life because of it. Will NEVER STAY AT A OYO HOTEL EVER AGAIN
- 1/5
No dead bold locks on doors. Lights didn’t work in the room.
- 1/5
#STAYWAY!!!
- 5/5
Great location and the service was superb
- 5/5
Room was clean and tidy. Overall stay was quiet and had a great nights sleep. Will definitely be staying there again.
- 5/5
Covenant place to get food around near by areas without getting on the interstate for the price of this hotel we can’t complain we enjoyed it
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, well organized and above everything CLEAN. Linen was also clean and smelled fresh. Will definitely be staying there again.
- 1/5
The staff really rude
- 3/5
The hotel staff was very kind and understanding to my early arrival. The hotel room was a disappointment due to the burn marks on the bed, trash still in the bathroom, and the tub lining was peeling. The deadbolt was completely missing, there was sealant around the lock and the door was bowed in at the bottom.
- 1/5
AAC10 had no buttons to turn on. There was water in the bathroom around the toilet all running to the outside. Toilet paper we had to go ask We had to go get towels as well too.And then the woman was pretty upset.Because when we asked for those items set a housekeeper should have put all that out there So I wasn't satisfied with the service.
- 5/5
Staff is extremely nice. They went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. Pool and room was clean, had towels etc.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
A lot of homeless people around. Refrigerator didnt work at first. The room a/c was off and was extremely hot and even when the a/c was on it was subpar.
- 1/5
Most horrible experience. Took forever to check in even though I had a reservation. Changed rooms three times. Dirty towels, dirty showers, dirty sheets, broken doors, bugs and mold. Moved rooms 3 times. Not a safe environment. Man at the front desk asked for my drivers license and didn’t want to give it back and told me to come back the next morning to get it back. Asked for a refund after almost changing rooms for the 4th time I was denied several times. When demanded a refund the man at the front desk eventually “gave me a refund” and printed out my receipt told me I would see it back in my account in 5 days. Still to this day I haven’t received the money back. HORRIBLE
- 2/5
Rooms smelled bad. Infested with roaches. Customer service was helpful, changed rooms to a semi-clean room, still with roaches. Would not suggest
- 5/5
It was great, the customer service was good and I felt safe.
- 1/5
The place was dirty, the door did not lock! The customer service was horrible! They never clean or gave us clean towels! Do not go there!!!!!
- 3/5
Room had roach infestation.

- 5/5
Great hotel with great facilities.
- 5/5
Is a really good staff. They are polite and helpful. Good place to stay with a family
- 1/5
Extremely dirty
- 5/5
Compared to the outside, the inside was suprisingly clean and had good service. Price was good as well.
- 5/5
조용하고 가격대비 편한느낌 들었어요
- 1/5
Blankets smell cigarettes, room was not clean. Worse hotel I had stayed!
- 5/5
We often stay at a “budget” hotel and in that sphere, we were very pleased with this stay. In our sequence of priorities, this was an excellent hotel. Clean and comfortable beds, new refrigerator, new microwave, with excellent and congenial staff service and responsiveness.
- 5/5
Friendly and Attentive Staff, Check-in was easy, Gave excellent directions to dining establishments. We needed a clean safe place to sleep and are very satisfied with our stay. Price was more than affordable and hotel suited our needs.
- 4/5
A very congested area of town near the entrance of Lackland AFB. The staff was excellent, the price was right, but the hotel itself is aging. The rooms are in better condition than the street view.
- 4/5
Its was nice for the price i paid me and the kids slept well. It was more than 10 mins away from everything we wanted to do but that meant it was quieter no breakfast and the pool was outdoors.staff was friendly
- 3/5
The Staff Especially Ms. Eume’s attentive attention to detail
- 4/5
The staff/owners were very sweet and kind. I arrived extremely early and wasn't charged an extra fee which I truly appreciated. My room was clean and I was so happy it smelled clean. No cigarettes' or funky smells. I've seen other reviews claiming floors were dirty don't walk around with white socks or bare feet they'll get dirty. I didn't have this problem. My socks were still white and floors felt clean on my bare feet after a shower. Beds were comfortable enough and bedding was nice and clean. I loved that there was a fridge and microwave as well and iron & board. My only issue was the surrounding area and some of the people hanging around the outside. I believe they were homeless people hanging around but we weren't bothered by them. Our vehicles weren't bothered and overall we had a great experience. Especially for what we paid for our rooms I won't complain. Could things be better? Sure! But that's anywhere. I can say we got more than what we paid for and let's leave it at that. To the staff/owners - Thank you for a pleasant stay! God Bless.
- 5/5
There is a lot of homeless but that that has nothing to do with the property or the amazingly nice couple that work there.
- 4/5
Hotel was exactly as advertised and very friendly and helpful staff. This was a great stay for us.
- 3/5
The staff was amazing. The lady at the front desk made sure to inform me about things to do and places to eat. There are lots of junkies around the area but the man made sure I got in my room safe and always kept a look out.
- 5/5
No wait time on the room to get checked in. Took two seconds and we had our room key. Area was very close to freeway. Easy access to freeway
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean
- 5/5
The cleanedd in the rooms
- 1/5
Reserved a room for 3 nights Told check in clerk I might only need for one night. Was told not a problem, pay the three nights and if I only needed one notify Hotels, com and I would be refunded. I checked out after one night but they then refused to refund the other 2 nights. Never again will I stay at an OYO hotel.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the office was very helpful I wish I had his name. Very fast helpful gentleman got me check in quick.
- 4/5
The man at the desk was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable the pool was very clean just the area of the hotel but that has nothing to do with the staff or hotel itself
- 5/5
Nice and clean room. Great for the price. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Good people and good place. Always rake my family there.
- 4/5
It’s not the Hilton but it serves its purpose. Only complaint was the A/C wasn’t on when I walked in but it’s not the end of the world. Overall a good experience
- 3/5
the hotel is very dated, very little extras. but for the price it was ok.
- 5/5
This was a nice little hotel with a gracious and hospitable staff! We were very comfortable and would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Staff was really courteous and helpful.
- 4/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
The bed and the rooms are up to date the bathroom is a bit small and the outside is a but grungy. It does look as if Oyo is trying to make the hotel better though.
- 4/5
This was a perfect space for our two-week stay in San Antonio. The staff is accommodating, well-lit at night, the room is clean and we felt safe every night of our stay.
- 1/5
The room was really dirty. Still had hair in the shower from whoever stayed there before.
- 3/5
The proximity to the Air Force Base
- 2/5
The room itself was okay, not the best, but the area surrounding it was VERY sketchy. I didn’t feel the best staying in that area, felt very unsafe.
- 2/5
No cable. So couldn’t watch tv. Ac was working but super loud. Was hard to sleep and second I ask for 1st floor and they put me on second floor
- 5/5
I love the customer service at this location, they are ready to help you.
- 3/5
Quite noisy for near highway and air base. Rushing traffics during night may awake guests.
- 1/5
Never again
- 1/5
This hotel was a hotel where drug addicts stay and it was filthy
- 5/5
This was my second stay at this hotel. My first stay was centered around my nephew's graduation from Lackland Air Force Base. The outside of the Hotel is clean. The man at the front desk is helpful, kind, and he goes out of his way to ensure check-in is smooth and you're taken care of. The rooms - especially for the price - are well kept. You'll walk into clean sheets and pillows, showers, towels and toiletries. The WIFI has a good speed as well. In short, this second stay was just like the first: good and comfortable for the price.
- 4/5
Everything was fine. Nice people and nice place to stay.
- 4/5
So the guy in the office seems nice. I believe he is the owner. The room was clean. The main light didnt work but flashlight on phone got me to another one. The fridge wasnt plugged in and when plugged in...the plug had to be set just right to work.(Only learned that the day I was leaving.) The bed was comfy. The shower was hot. Everything appeared to be clean. Only saw one cockroach. Killed him and flushed him. It is what it is. A cheap place to stay. If youre used to really nice rooms. Its not the place for you. If you dont mind it being a bit run down then its perfect. For what it was and the price it was a decent place to stay. I dont mind ghetto. I will say that the area surrounding it is bad. Yes there is food near by and gas stations but it is a hard area. Quite a few homeless and questionable people roaming all hours of the night. Take everything out of your car and make sure it is locked up tight. The motel does have a lot of cameras but that doesnt stop some people. Its a short drive to get on post at Lackland for Air Force graduation. Thats why I was there. So if you dont mind ghetto area with a room that isnt perfect but a place to sleep that is cheap...this place is perfect. The owner speaks english but I believe is slightly limited. I could understand him. I believe he lives on site as well. He seems a little jumpy and cautious but seeing the area I understand why but hes a nice guy. If you have kids. Find somewhere else just because of the area. Solo guy. Fine.
- 3/5
It was a nice stay for what I wanted, BMT graduation.
