This is a surprising gem that is extremely quiet although tucked between light rail tracks and a busy street. Clean room with very comfortable bed and pillows. Daily housekeeping without having to request it!!! Decent free breakfast (and they use good teabags not just the cheap stuff).

Great place to stay! Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was a bit lacking and the food wasn’t hot. Great place set up to dine and relax during the day. Staff was welcoming every time we passed them.

The Country Inn is reasonably priced for the area but is everything but a country experience. Nearly everything is made of a type of modern plastic including the flower arrangements. I could find nothing reasonable for breakfast so that claimed advantage is nonsense. Our room was quiet so that was good, but I would rate the room as a poor man’s Marriott as the rooms look the same but the country inn is way lower quality in every respect.

Country Inn for a short stay is a wonderful choice. A full breakfast is included, parking was easy, the room was clean and functional, and staff was cordial during check in process. The grounds were well maintained as I noticed a very nice garden of roses and a variety of flowers were surrounding the perimeter of the building....a very lovely touch

We really enjoy staying at this hotel. Stuff is very helpful. Room is spacious. The only downside is the breakfast. I wish they had some boiled eggs for the healthy conscience folks and variety of fruits

Everything was great. Our room was clean and everything worked well. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was only, well, what can I say for the price of the room. Parking was convenient. We were in the back lot which was incredibly well lit. It's so conveniet to the train yet we never heard it doe to great insulation.

This was extremely disappointing. The most serious issue is the apparent hygiene problem, as no guest should have to worry about waking up with bedbug bites after a stay. On top of that, the customer service was poor. Instead of taking responsibility and addressing the matter properly, the hotel pushed the issue elsewhere and ultimately refused to make it right. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Based on the cleanliness concern and the lack of accountability afterward, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

The room was clean but the furnishings were in very bad condition. Furniture chipped and worn and the bed was horrible. It was as hard as a rock and we could feel the bed springs in the mattress. Quite a price to pay ($370 per day) for a sub par room.

Excellent location, extremely quiet rooms, and secure parking lot. The breakfast was surprisingly good with hot dishes and everything you could want. Even though the rooms and decor were a bit dated, all was clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. I couldn't have been happier and will hope to stay here again for future needs.

The bathroom door swings shut very hard and it smashed my finger when it closed. Didn’t like that very much.

Would stay here again. Room was clean and quiet. The interior atrium was charming. Only issue for me was the breakfast. There was a lot to choose from, but the lack of labels and allergy warnings was a concern for me.

It was in a convenient location and very clean. Parking was also great and easy. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad.

Great place to stay. We needed a place last minute and this was perfect. Free parking and breakfast for a very reasonable price. The man at the front desk was very nice and checked us in right away. The only downside for us was the noise from street traffic, but other then that a great experience!

We’ve been coming to stay here for over 10 years and I really like the upgraded bathrooms with the walk in shower. We’ll be back for sure!

The property could use some upgrading. The furniture is pretty sad and decor is bland and plain. We thought there would be a sofa in our king room but there was only one chair. Not adequate for couples. Bed was very hard.

No complaints except the bottoms of all the room doors including interior bathroom doors are scuffed and dirty. People must be holding them open with their foot. The marks and stains should be able to be removed with 409 or equivalent. It is amazingly prevalent through out the entire building

We found the room to be in need of a good refresh and cleaning. Window latch coming off, security door latch loose, cover to AC controls came off in our hand. Bathroom walls were stained, bathroom door needed a cleaning and paint job, handle to toilet kept coming off. Furniture scratched and bed had an annoying squeak, Comforter under the top sheet was full of hair. Breakfast was a joke, no fresh fruit i.e., berries or bananas. No jam for toast, no yogurt and the coffee was horrible. Went out for coffee daily. Also, the cushions in the breakfast room were dirty and stained. Needless to say, we will find other accommodations on our next trip to the area, to management, try getting out from your office and inspect what you expect.

We always stay at The Country Inn and Suites whenever we go to San Carlos which is about 3-4 times a year. It's our favorite. The beds are comfortable, it's quiet, safe, free parking, good breakfast, coffee and tea available all the time. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend it!

I had such a great experience during my stay here! The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept, with all the amenities I needed. The front desk staff were welcoming and kind. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices to start the day off right. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Very old & loud air conditioner can woke you up multiple times during the night. An Old alarm also went off at 4am the morning. Can’t sleep in that hotel.

It was my 3rd stay. We love the neighborhood, shops and restaurants are within walking distance, especially car-free Laurel Streets with outdoor dining.

Nice clean place to stay in a nice area. The neighborhood seemed very safe and there were plenty of restaurants within a short drive and a few within walking distance. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good enough for a short stay.

I called the hotel for directions. Couldn't tell me whether to go north or south from where I was .

The bed was miserable: worn down on the sides with a ridge in the middle. The two chairs provided, looked and felt like throwaways. Nice clean place needs to spend some money on furniture.

We started staying at this hotel 2 years ago and visit 3-4 times a year. We love how convenient the location is and the businesses close by. There are a few fast food places and a gas station. The hotel has a nice selection of drinks and snacks. The breakfast was very diverse and filling. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.

It was well kept and clean. I was very comfortable there. I was not expecting the very nice breakfast that was available with alot of choices and tasted great. I would stay there again without question. The only issue we had was that the toilet seat in our room was loose and I didn't tell them about it because I didn't feel it was a big deal. Then forgot to mention it when we checked out.

I was surprised and pleased at how nice this hotel is. It reminds me of the old embassy suites with the atrium and setup. Everything was clean and tidy and comfortable. It’s next to the train so if the window is open it can be loud but not noticeable otherwise. My only note is that the lotion dispenser next to the sink was empty. I’m sure I could have called down and had someone fill it up but it wasn’t a priority.

This is a favorite of ours. It’s clean and updated and has breakfast and is in a great location for our purpose.

Very good deal for the price. Hotel was quiet and clean. The amenities were also nice. However, the cleaning crew left too early for us to take advantage of having our room cleaned. They were gone by 2:15 in the afternoon. We also asked for some more coffee pods and even though the staffer gave them to us, he stated that they don't normally do that. That was a huge shock to me because I have never stayed anywhere that didn't gladly offer you more coffee pods for you room. We hadn't had our room cleaned for 3 days.

Pretty sure neither the interior NOR the beds have been updated since the 80’s. Outside was nice but nothing special.

The hotel is in a nice area. Many restaurants nearby. The check-in receptionists were very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was a bit lackluster, but understandable for a slow day. The toaster isn't working properly, I imagine it can be disastrous on a busy morning. Coffee was meh but it gets the job done! Room is very clean and spacious, front desk and staff are friendly! We will want to stay with Country Inn again next time we visit.

The property was dated. We were first placed in a room next to the elevator which was incredibly loud. The front desk was very helpful and moved us to a new room right away. There was a hot breakfast, which was ok, but nothing spectacular. The property felt more like a two star hotel and not a three star.

Water did not ever get hot, bed actually had broken springs, blackout blinds falling off rail. The staff are great, but some capital upgrades are needed. Frankly disappointing.

This was a great midpoint for us to visit San Francisco and San Jose. They had a great hot breakfast and hot beverages in the evening, including hot chocolate! Hey also serviced our room every day, which I loved! My only criticism is that the beds felt small (even though they confirmed they were queens) and the frame squeezed. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Plumbing problems, roaring motorcycles, room door braced open with plastic spring when I tried to check in. Free parking was nice, breakfast standard, elevator inadequate for guests and service. Nice staff.

We booked this hotel due to it advertising an indoor pool, we probably wanted to book one down the street but the indoor option sold us. The pool is NOT open and they do not give any notice when booking or even upon arrival. The breakfast was okay, very very limited options. Wouldn’t go back.

Lluvia and Jasmin greeted us with a big smile and answered all questions with quick and competent answers. Jose was quick to let us borrow a scale to make sure our suitcases weren’t too heavy. Best Hotel experience in years!
