Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, the hotel's facilities and rooms are often criticized for being outdated and in need of renovation.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location
- Outdated facilities and rooms
- Parking fees

Parking was included. Room and facilities were clean. Front desk personnel were helpful

The front desk was very helpful.

Clean staff were polite and friendly

DID NOT LIKE: hotel parking fee (although waived) and parking area is not covered, although room is clean but needs upgrading to look more modern and bright; hinge of the bathroom door is not properly aligned-needs some maneuvering to close the door
- 5/5
Very clean, very nice people, it was very busy a lot of events going on but it was really nice Blankets seemed a little dirty

Great customer service
- 3/5
Hotel is good but the beds are a lil hard..it's the second time staying there probably my last

Midge was fabulous at check in. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She set the tone for our stay and it was great. Will visit again when I am in town.
- 2/5
Horrible hotel overall
- 2.5/5
Great location, appreciated the balcony. Would not stay again as there are much nicer options for similar price. Parking is $35/day which I guess is standard for a city area hotel. Breakfast is not included and $88 for 2 adults/2 kids. It’s fine if you are traveling for business or an event but would not recommend for a family with kids.

They should have breakfast buffet include but overall the hotel was amazing next to everything.
- 0.5/5
Clean comfortable Had a power outage from 10pm to 4am I checked out around 4:30 am and Didn’t have cold water or light and my phone was dead
- 3/5
Old rooms with older ac units. Lobby is newer. I would get another hotel for same price. Close to markets with food and shopping.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Mission Valley in San Diego for three nights while celebrating my wife’s 30th birthday, and we had a great experience from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location for getting around San Diego. Everything felt well maintained, and it made for a really relaxing base during our holiday. A special mention has to go to Victor on reception, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and looked after, and his attitude really made a difference to our overall experience. He is a real credit to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others visiting San Diego.
- 2/5
The entrance and lobby seemed nice and clean staff was very friendly. The halls on the way to the room were smelly and dingy. There was a large roach on the floor of the lobby near the restaurant as we were walking in to get a drink, which we reported to the bartender. The bar had several fruit flies and smelled a little like vomit.
- 5/5
Heated Pool was great for me and the kids.
- 2/5
The property was clean. No free parking, and the bathroom was older, wish we had a walk in shower.

Only bad thing was that the power was scheduled to go out one night and I was not informed by hotel clerk when I checked in. I only found out cuz my uncle was staying there to and informed me.
- 5/5
Hotel is close to freeways, and restaurants. Short drive to Sea World. No free parking.
- 3/5
Local and close to a lot of places Once you get to certain floors from the elevators, it starts to smell like sewer on the floor. The pool and jacuzzi are WAY too small to accommodate for large amounts of people. The shower gets water allllll over the floor while using it. No way around that. The rooms are a little bit dated.

Overall, Sheraton Hotel provides excellent services. They offer use of microwave at the lobby and staff were extremely friendly with excellent customer service.

Great staff, super helpful in every way. Nice pool and area. Close to the RR and bar which was helpful. I Highly recommend this place.

Staff - Eric was kind and just the best!!!

We stayed here for my daughter's graduation weekend at SDSU so it was busy. Hotel room looks clean but is really outdated, closet doors broke, bathroom (which is small) is old with many things that should be touched up, shower gets too hold/too cold by itself. Room also didn't get cleaned during our stay; front desk said that we were still in the room when housekeeping was cleaning on the floor and we should have requested for the room to be cleaned. But my other daughter said she really liked the next door gym that hotel guests could use, so she enjoyed that. We didn't have time to explore other amenities in the hotel.

Hi there, we stayed in rooms 1109 and 1111 and there is the Sheraton Club Lounge on the floor right above above (12th) our rooms unbeknownst to us. I understand it has hardwood floors. And every morning around 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. we were woken up by the rolling breakfast carts on the hardwood floors. It sounded like furniture moving every morning! Every day, we assumed it was a one-off issue as we didn't realize it was a club lounge used daily but it happened every morning. By the time we figured out what it was, we were already scheduled to check out. Had we known it was an active lounge with hardwood floors and rolling breakfast carts, we would have requested a room change, but we were also told that we got the last adjoining rooms available. So, we felt stuck there nonetheless. Please provide some sort of explanation or compensation. Thank you!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff were friendly & helpful.
- 5/5
Great business hotel. The team go above and beyond with excellent service from the front desk, to f&b, housekeeping and maintenance. Very comfortable for an older property. Great location for ease of access to San Diego and freeways.
- 5/5
Great helpful staff, lovely clean room with a great view.
- 5/5
We have so enjoyed getting to know the staff at this property. We have been here for over a week. The rooms were redone quite some time ago, but they were high-end at the time and they are well maintained. This is a very comfortable quiet property. It is right off the eight freeway - excellent for getting around town and business travel in particular. We are here with our dog and they have made us so comfortable and welcome.
- 5/5
This Sheraton is familiar and true to its brand.
- 3/5
Location is nice just old and out dated kind of on its way down. if your just staying a quick night it’s ok suspicious looking characters prowling around the property…they also want 35$ to park on the property so add that in your price.
- 3/5
Front desk service was horrible
- 5/5
👍
- 3/5
Was expecting the $35 a day parking for Members
- 4/5
Everything was very good
- 5/5
The staff go out of their way to be helpful. We are impressed and will utilize for visiting guests and for business travel.
- 5/5
Room was clean. It was an older feeling hotel. Cheap and sufficient.
- 4/5
Could use some maintenance and better cleaning of shower. Was dirty on tile and curtain with old condition and makeup splatter. Shower tub adjuster was broken and water came out both shower and tub. Would loose pressure for a few minutes mod shower.
- 1/5
Hotel has seen better days. The comforter in between the bedsheets had mold (hold them up against light in the dark and you will see); had to remove them from the bed. Hairs in the towels and picture frame, rust in the tub, running/noisy toilet, REALLY hard beds (your hips will hurt in the morning). Freeway is next to the hotel; you will hear noise all night long. I told and showed pictures of the issues to front desk upon checkout. They thanked me and told me to expect the parking fee. Never again.
- 4/5
Decent property, convenient to where we were visiting.
- 4/5
Lounge appetizers were pretty sad
- 5/5
Phone doesnt even work in the room Front desk personnel were great especially the staff member who checked us in.
- 5/5
Parking was easy and convenient. Nice pool with warm water.
- 2/5
Handicap parking was far away from the front
- 4/5
The final two days of our stay, the body wash container was empty in our shower. Also, $27 per person for breakfast buffet is outrageous. And parking from Monday night to Friday morning was $149, which is rediculous. It is decently priced hotel but the incidentals are far, far too expensive.
- 5/5
Very clean and helpful staff
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious rooms. Helpful staff.
- 4/5
The showers had painted over ceilings and visible damage
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious! The bed was big and comfy. There's a restaurant in the hotel and a mini store for snacks. The location was close to the mall and restaurants. The staff was nice and professional.
- 3/5
Everything was great but the self parking prices were crazy. My I’m an inexperienced traveler, but a lot of the hotels I’ve been to (outside of Vegas) don’t have a parking fee. At least not 30 something dollars a night. However, staff was very friendly and room pretty normal.
- 4/5
the breakfast was not included, you will need to purchase additional, the same for parking. room was nice, the bed was comfortable.

I loved everything about the hotel and how nice the staff was

- 1/5
The shower rarely worked the water pressure was horrible! The AC barely kept it cool
- 5/5
The hotel location is very convenient, easy to go everywhere. the room is clean and spacious, the outdoor pool looks great( we were busy playing around the city and didn’t have time to try), the staff members are super nice, they even didn’t charge me for losing one room card. The hotel in San Diego usually charged parking fee, Sheraton started to charge 35$ for one night(compared to other hotel, it is reasonable), but they offered me a surprise to exclude the parking fee( you know ,sea world parking 40$). Another thing the tv is not only big, it also provides so many interesting channels. My overall experience was excellent ! My family had a fantastic time at Sheraton !
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
brayan on front desk acomidated our request for a city view on our first stay very good service great guy also kids had alot of fun at the pool only thing that we were bummed out was that the tv waant smart tv for us to watch a movie on our Netflix the property had alot of parking space very great stay thank you
- 4/5
Great location! Staff was amazing. Bed not the most comfortable but overall stay was great!
- 2/5
I felt you guys just gave me any room! First thing I ask about parking and was told open parking! When check out charge me $35 never said it cost ! The room I was in look like dawn motel 6 im sorry but not sorry! The shower head was loose and water barely came out ! Didn't feel like complaining or reporting! Just made do and left next day .I chose this hotel because I stayed here before and was a great experience! Never again! Oh by the way the next day I was checking out walk to counter I want to say the manager never acknowledged me so I went to the next clerk ! Worst!!!
- 5/5
Great customer service, friendly staff!
- 5/5
Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room so you don't have to go all the way down to the hotel marketplace. Overall: 4.8/5.
- 4/5
Rooms are older, not perfectly clean but acceptable. Water pressure was odd- the shower would turn off and on. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location made it easy to get around town.
- 5/5
My stay was fantastic! When I called the front desk about the very loud baseball team in the same hallway as my room, they immediately changed my room without any hesitation! That was amazing service! 👏 I will definitely be choosing this hotel when I’m in town again.
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean facilities and friendly staff. EV charger on site very convenient.
- 3/5
I will never stay here again, parking was a third party and staff never told me ahead of time!
- 5/5
As always an excelent stay.
- 5/5
Very clean room and comfortable stay. All of the staff, especially Hannah, are very friendly and helpful! We would stay here again!
- 3/5
next to the highway and it is a bit noisy even we are 10+ floor
- 3/5
Hotel was fantastic. My only complaints are that the bar closed early on Saturday night and that we had one morning with no water. I was unable to take a shower. I know things happen, but it was really inconvenient. I would definitely stay there again though.
- 5/5
Everything was good!
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful. Property was clean and beautiful
- 4/5
Did not use it at all but it looked clean.
- 4/5
A little tired, great beds!
- 4/5
Beds super comfy. Wifi by the pool was terible. It great in the rooms. Overall a decent stay for the price.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again. Good location, views, staff was awesome.
- 3/5
The beds were really old and unconfortable.
- 5/5
Yes. All good.
- 5/5
Very clean, thank you!
- 3/5
Staff was very curteous. Room could have been cleaner ie bugs in light in bathroom, thick dust on ledges of bed headboard. stains on dust ruffles. Empty body wash in shower. Would have expected better from Sheraton.
- 4/5
The best part of the stay was the location. Its perfectly situated for entertainment and shopping, which made getting around incredibly convenient. Everything I wanted to do was either within walking distance or just a short drive away, which really enhanced the trip. The only downside for me was having to pay a daily parking. It would have been nice if parking were included, especially given the room rates. That said, just something to keep in mind.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 3/5
The bathroom had issues. The sink was slow to drain, the toilet had to-be held to flush all the way and the shower lost water pressure and became extremely hot and then cold.
- 5/5
Clean Room, front desk excellent service particularly Cru Bistro staff, Alice and other Filipina lady.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the mini fridge was cold, the AC was perfect temp, the staff was welcoming, polite and kind. Free parking was my selling point! Location was perfect! I would absolutely recommend this property and will be staying here again.
- 5/5

- 2/5
The staff was great! The hotel was not up to par. Very old and worn! Needs upgrading badly!!!!
- 5/5
Room was clean.
- 3/5
Staff are extremely nice. Bed is extremely comfy. However, The room is abit outdated.the temperature of the shower water is not stable.
- 5/5
The room was ok, the best part, still have the policy to clean the room every day. Is nice to arrive at the hotel room after a heavy day and found everything clean and spotless
- 4/5
Great staff and room service
- 4/5
Staff and food were very good.

- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
However, there were a few concerns worth noting. The beds were quite uncomfortable, with springs that popped throughout the night. During heavy San Diego rain, the side and back parking areas flooded significantly. It would have been helpful for staff to notify guests that the side entrance was inaccessible; when I mentioned it to the front desk, they seemed unaware, which suggests some communication issues. The flooding created large puddles, some several inches deep, around parked cars. While I understand Mission Valley can flood, this felt more like a drainage problem. Thankfully, our car wasn’t affected, but it could easily be an issue for others. Parking was also limited due to a large event tent taking up many front spaces. With the side lot already compromised, hosting outdoor events like this may not be ideal. Overall, it’s not a bad place to stay, but the dated rooms, uncomfortable beds, and parking challenges are worth considering. I wouldn’t make it my first choice, but if the price were right, I’d consider staying again.
- 3/5
Double Tree hotel close by is better.
- 5/5
Very nice room, clean and well taken care of. Outstanding staff with high customer service attitude. Nice drink and sundry shop. Convenient location to get anywhere to San Diego sites. Very nice pool area and restaurant. Only downside is room was noisy from the highway traffic, which of course is constant. Good white noise. My room also had a nice big deck.
- 4/5
The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were nice. But the interstate noise was so loud. And I went downstairs to get two drinks, non alcoholic, and it was nearly $12 which I thought was very steep.
- 5/5
Eric at the reception desk is wonderful and helpful
- 4/5

- 5/5
The room was clean, staff was kind and welcoming, and the parking was plentiful! My family really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Sheraton to anyone.
- 5/5
Spent a few days here after Christmas with the family and had a lovely time. Hotel is centrally located to many of the sights in San Diego and it's easy to get around. Room was clean and spacious and the mini fridge was much appreciated. We will definitely return when we are back in town
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Very cramped double room, poorly working fridge in the room. There’s no microwave in the room so you would have to use the communal microwave in the lobby. It was ABSOLUTELY filthy!!! And there was no available ice. Sorry but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel in the future.
- 1/5
When we initially checked into the room, there was a pubic hair on the toilet and the bath tub had rust on it. Additionally, the pictures on Expedia for the bathroom did not match what was in the room. When we brought this up to the front desk, they said they were going to renovate the bathrooms in 2026 and that’s what they were supposed to look like. This is incredibly misleading. Why am I paying for something that doesn’t exist. Plus our toilet didn’t flush which is not what you’re supposed to deal with when they’re charging so much for a room. To top it all off, they charged me for a water when I didn’t drink it. I had to call to reverse it. Just overall a horrible experience and really tainted Sheraton hotels for us.
- 5/5
The room was great , clean and comfortable. At check in Hannah was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 2/5
This was a disappointing stay. When we got there, the young lady who checked us in was in a bad mood. Didn’t make eye contact, not even once. We chalked it up that she was having a bad evening, and we got to our room, which was decent the restrooms are extremely small. They also have no vent. Unfortunately, we got no sleep because we were next to the service room which promptly started making noise at 7 AM. The shower was also clogged. Did we let anybody know, no. We didnt choose this hotel for its amenities. We literally were only there for sleeping. It wasn’t worth trying to complain about it. We put a do not disturb sign on the door, which was ignored and we got a knock at 830 asking if we needed room service. We chose the Sheraton for the quality represents. This location does not align with their standards.
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Room was large and clean. Will stay again
- 1/5
Our toilet overflowed with soap bubbles. We were moved to a suite which was nice but I forgot a shirt hanging behind the bathroom door of our original room. I called at night to the front desk and was told housekeeping didn’t report finding anything and I could talk to housekeeping in the morning after 10:00am. I told her I was leaving at 5:30am so I could catch my flight home and she said then there was nothing she could do. Ridiculous a staff member couldn’t go to our old room and get my clothing or give me a key so I could get it. I told the front desk my issue when I checked out at 5:30 this morning and the girl took down my number and said someone would contact me. It’s now 5:30pm and I have yet to hear from anyone. Also the rooms are outdated and need some TLC along with remodel. When we checked in staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room , good breakfast and staff
- 3/5
Not bad
- 3/5
The room was very clean. Once I was able to climb UP on bed, it felt like sleeping on a cloud! For an upgraded room the bathroom was way too small, seating furniture very uncomfortable and dated.
- 5/5
Great hotel, close to shops, freeway and restaurants.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, CLEAN LOBBY, ALL PERSONEL WAS KIND, COURTEOUS AND EFFICIANT. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but there was constant noise from the elevators because it shared a wall with them.
- 5/5
Had a really great experience at this hotel. Midge, the manager was super kind and accommodating. Great customer service from everyone, would definitely recommend to others coming to San Diego!!
- 5/5
Front desk staff is excellent. The hotel is clean and always smells great.
- 5/5
Eric at the check in made every so smooth he was awesome.
- 3/5
The bed cover was not good enough
- 5/5
I was very impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the front desk staff member Eric.
- 2/5
We had to adjust the stay from 3 to 2 nights due to airline flight cancellation and was told by the front desk through hotels.com support that there would be a high probability that we could be credited the 1 night no problem regardless of the no change policy within 24 hours. We were pleased that they went above and beyond to accommodate this. Unfortunately that did not happen after all. We were misled by the Sheraton staff and management. That set up a poor experience from the start. I am requesting a credit or adjustment if they’d like to keep our company as a customer. Please advise.
- 5/5
Excellent service, great breakfast selection. Staff as always, very helpful, pleasant. Always enjoy our stay.
- 5/5
Great over all stay

- 5/5
I really enjoyed the stay. Staff was really awesome
- 3/5
Room was in need of cosmetic repairs. The TV didnt work, but was fixed immediately which I appreciated. The parking lot is horrible. The property seems a bit run down. The staff was friendly. I had lunch i. The restaurant and it was good. All in all I would say it was ok.

Room too old. Shower
- 2/5
The shower in our room was terrible the pressure kept going in and out and the temperature would randomly get freezing cold and boiling hot
- 4/5
Our stay was fine. Facilities were clean and quiet. Did not participate in breakfast. The only concern was the tub and shower head. Couldn't make the water go completely to the shower head causing tub to fill with water.
- 3/5
The shower was not working properly despite I asking them to fix it.

- 5/5
Great hotel! Very centric.
- 1/5
The housekeeper used her key to open my room without knocking on the door, and I was changing my clothes. She says to give me some disposable cups, but I never asked for them. I feel scared when I see her open my door without my permission, and then she leaves. The next morning at around 8 o'clock, the housekeeper knocked on my door and asked about doing room cleaning. I said I am still in bed and I won't check out until noon, and then she left. I feel so terrible the hotel person keeps disturbing me since I checked in. It's awful to stay in this hotel. W
- 2/5
Room was outdated, shower old and water stream weak, tv old and out dated . It’s 2025 no smart tv! I checked out early and they refused to refund.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and friendly staff. We checked in with Eric who was nice and helpful made us feel welcomed
- 4/5
Should be free parking for renters. There was no fan in the bathroom.
- 5/5
very good stay
- 4/5
Fast check in/out. Courteous staff and clean room
- 1/5
Our room was facing the highway, it was NOISY all nite long. Beds were old, and squeaky, you feel the individual springs poking at your body.
- 3/5
Not enough accessible electrical outlets in this day and age. Also limited lavatory counter space.
- 2/5
Heater did not work in room we had to request a new room due to it being way to cold and the bathroom was really tiny
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was clean every day. Counter staff service was excellent.
- 4/5
Other than heater in the room which wasn’t working but instead blowing cold air, everything else was good!
- 5/5
Great service. Front desk staff was 10/10!
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and good location.

It was easy check-in.

Clean room and reasonably priced parking.
- 5/5
The room was a great size and super clean, the staff is super nice
- 5/5
My staff here was fantastic, and the location was very good. The breakfast was a little lack luster for being dine in; that was more of a 'paper plate' meal. Lobby has water but no coffee. I'd definitely come back.
- 5/5
Our 3 night stay was great! It was our first time in San Diego & this hotels location is so convenient, it’s in the center of everything, everything is 10-15 minutes away. Our rooms were super clean, the bathroom was clean, a big thank you to Victoria and Dommy! The hospitality was great, front desk help was always available. Breakfast was great, we only ate their once but they do have a variety. The breakfast was not free, but it was still a great price. Definitely would stay here again!
- 5/5
Kind and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 4/5
The view was great through the floor to ceiling window. I just wish it was soundproof the freeway could at times be very loud. Overall I felt safe, staff was great and I’d probably stay there again.
- 5/5
location close to family we were visiting.

Nice! Thank you!
- 5/5
Didnt eat breakfast buffet cost to expensive.
- 2/5
old and in bad shape building
- 5/5
Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Victor at the front desk. The room was spotless and immaculate, thanks to the efforts of Tomasa. The room was very comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit on the small side. My room facing the mountain was very quiet. All in all, this was a great stay and I'd happily choose to stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything was great!!
- 5/5
Eric at the front desk was extremely helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help jump of my dead battery.
- 5/5

Convenient location right off the freeway, friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and appetizers! Free parking was great! Property could use a refresh, however.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff at front desk, house keeping, breakfast etc. Great communication before during and after reservation. Clean and modern hotel, very comfortable beds. Highly convenient area close to everything, plus very affordable parking onsite while we travelled.

Didn’t have time to use hot tub/pool. Staff was wonderful. Did have to ask for clean towels; but the rest of the week we got cleaned room and towels. I would say that for an older person; I would suggest that an extra “grab bar” would be helpful at the end wall to help getting in and out of the shower. The overview of the hotel was excellent!!! My sister and I enjoyed having a cocktail and appetizers at the lobby and fruit in the morning. 😊
- 4/5
The breakfast staff was running around like they couldn't keep up. My breakfast was cold and old. My boyfriend's coffee was terrible. He was really upset at the poor quality of his coffee.
- 3/5
Staff were pleasant, rooms are ok, bathrooms small and lacked counter space, room was very noisy from outside freeway traffic and gym next to our room.
- 3/5
Sheraton was an okay stay for not really being in the room. The hotel was dingy and could use upgrading. My room specifically did not have a working phone and the tv did not work consistently. Room service did not change the sheets even though there was blood on them from a cut I had received.
- 5/5
Comfortable room, very quiet, nice amenities
- 5/5
Close to shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, best service I’ve had in a long time.
- 4/5
Clean room , comfortable beds.
- 1/5
Everything was dirty carpets are dirty in room and in the hallway.
- 3/5
Room was tidy but it was apparent that there had been water damage as the ceiling repairs were just shoddy. Shower could not be fully deployed as the calcium buildup made the mechanism stick and toilet flushed randomly through the night.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
It was during my fifth night after returning to the room I noticed the bed was made but they were lumpy. Linen had not been changed not once since we’d been. I called customer service and the sent someone to change the linen on both beds.
- 5/5
Very nice staff.
- 5/5
It was so clean and the staff is very nive
- 5/5
Clean room, friends and professional staff and good location.

Bathroom worn and dated. Rust stains on door frame. Tile grout dirty in some areas.
- 5/5
Close to fwy access
- 3/5
I had dirty linen. However
- 4/5
Whatever is used to clean with it is so strong you can hardly breath. One I got used to it, it was ok. My entire floor had a really strong smell.
- 5/5
Clean & very nice. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 3/5
Restroom too small.

We had the room cleaned on the second day and housekeeper left us only two towels even though there were four people staying in that room. We called to request for more towels but the phone in the room was broken. I had to use my personal phone to call the front desk and I had to call twice. The first time, the attendant assured us that it will be delivered. After waiting half an hour for the two towels, I called again. The same front desk attendant had forgotten we called and assured us once more that it will be delivered immediately. I waited another 45 minutes before going down to retrieve the towels myself. Upon showering, I realized that the housekeeper did not refill the bodywash and lotion bottles in the bathroom. Mind you, this is only the second day of our four night stay.

Convenient
- 4/5
Located in a great area close to restaurants and shops
- 5/5
I wish we didn’t have to pay additionally for parking. The hotel is well taken care of, clean, amazing facilities and mini store!
- 5/5
We had a great stay.
- 4/5
It was in between a highway, there were areas close by. thank goodness I had a car.
- 2/5
Heavy traffic nearly 24 hours. And all ice makers were not operating, there wasn't a microwave present. And lastly there must be clear language of "paid" parking on the property." Was not happy of the additional cost!
- 5/5
Great place . Perfect stay ! Great Customer service
- 1/5
Accidentally booked a room for the following week and was refused a refund. Im out 500$, they blame expedia, expedia blames them, and im just f**ked. The hotel itself was nice but the rooms are aged.
- 3/5
The Tv didn’t work either

- 5/5
Conveniently located downtown hotel, easy access to all areas of our family's interest. Clean hotel and rooms, friendly staff, and well-maintained and fully operational amenities and facilities.
- 5/5
The property is older than it looks in the pictures
- 5/5
Location is great! Can reach la jolla and gas lamp under 20 mins.. great staff and clean!
- 4/5
Nice Hotel, front desk staff was amazing. Only issue was the in room safe was broken and we found gum stuck under the nightstand.
- 5/5
Great location staff and very clean
- 2/5
The water for the shower was really hot.
- 4/5
Right by all the nice shopping. Restaurants close by.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 2/5
Sliding door to bathroom so heavy it wouldnt open/ close. Mold on bathroom floor. Saw 2 bugs. Old squeeky bed.
- 1/5
Beware! The hotel has a unsecured WiFi and we got hacked during our stay!
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful room upgrade which was very much appreciated. The staff was friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
Great room and location
- 3/5
The hotel was comfortable, but they charge you for everything. They charge you daily for parking, and for breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet option that costs $24 per person, but the breakfast is the same food you could get at any hotel for their continental for free. We would have been ok, but their food was cold and they had no warmers to keep the food fresh. We were extremely disappointed. The only plus was the pool.
- 3/5
The staffs are wonderful the room we are assigned to is old and the Tv is not working we reported it to the front desk and they said they will fix it but no one did. The Tav is so old and bad connection it remind me before smart tv era!!! The bathroom is fan is broken and if you are taking a warm shower the whole room is foggy and water dripping from the ceiling.
- 5/5
Very nice stay. Will definitely stay here anytime I come back to SD.
- 4/5
Good place
- 5/5
Fantastic accommodation, all staff were pleasant and fantastic to deal with. Location was great - close to shopping, Balboa Park, Old Town San Diego, Seaworld. Will be staying again soon!
- 4/5
However, the physical state of the hotel does not meet the Sheraton standards that I am used to. Overall outdated design and finishes, and furniture, which is unfortunate. The management should really consider updating the hotel interiors as well as culinary offerings to better serve consumer's expectations.
- 5/5
The Staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean. Complimentary coffee every morning. In general is a good hotel to stay in. I would definitely come back.
- 3/5
No black out curtains
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 3/5
The hotel itself was more than fine, but after paying a fairly hefty fee for parking we were disappointed that hotel garage was full (cars from people at a conference) so we had to find a spot in the overflow parking. Not horrible, but not as convenient as we expected.
- 5/5
Everything and everyone was great!
- 3/5
- 5/5
one of the best hotels!
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
We were in town for a concert so we didn’t stay long but we wish we could! The hotel was very nice and we received excellent service. Just perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was very smooth with no issues whatsoever. The location was perfect! And the price was reasonable. We’ll be back!
- 4/5
Location is really good, property in general a litle too old parking lot condition not the best, and some equipment inthe room was too old.(but everything was working) i guess i was specting more from a sheraton hotel.
- 4/5
Hotel and rooms are outdated and need a make over but will do for the price.
- 3/5
Bed was not very comfortable. Noise from refrigerator, A/C, and freeway traffic made it tough to sleep the first night.
- 2/5
There were ants in our room and someone set up a loud fan infront of our door that was tremendously loud.
- 3/5
Non working in room coffee maker. Plugged tub during showers. Worst are the beds! Springs older style mattresses are past their prime. Noisy mattresses.
- 5/5
It was a great stay as always. All the staff are very kind, and I enjoy the pool.
- 4/5
When asked if they had handicap parking, staff assumed I needed a wheelchair access room with an open shower even though my wife and I walked in. Shower made a mess on the floor.
- 3/5
Upon arrival, front desk was welcoming. House keeping was amazing and cleaned the room daily. My biggest complaint is not being notified verbally that parking is charged daily. We checked out and explained it to the front desk. The front desk made it seem like it was our fault and had a friendly attitude change to not so friendly. It sounds petty, but these are things that should be explained upon arrival or online. I don’t want to be hit with an almost $200 bill for a 5 night stay without proper notification. Then to make it seem like we should have known and only charging us “Two nights of parking instead of the full five as if you are doing us a favor. Not professional and should be addressed.
- 5/5
I enjoyed this hotel; it was very nice and clean. The only downside was that the bed was hard. Otherwise, it's a very nice hotel.
- 2/5
Found dead insect in one bed, very slow tub drain, can hear all highway noise in room
- 2/5
Area was noisy. Room was basic and in need of maintenance. Also found dead insect in sheets of one bed. Tub drain was extremely slow that allowed for collection of water to ankles
- 5/5
Customer service, beds and sheets wonderful. Amazing view from room. Good location.
- 5/5
Lots of food options in the area and uber rides were good price.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean, and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again
- 5/5
It was amazing and you guys did a great job and services. It’s true that our hospitality is what you care for so yeah, me and my wife appreciate them all.
- 5/5
Everything was good but not all of the elevators were working. Other than that it was an excellent room and good location.
- 5/5
Checking was very easy. The front desk staff also helped me signing up with Marriott Bonvoy so that my parking was free. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was nice

- 5/5
Comfortable, good A/C
- 3/5
Everything was clean and nice. Customer service was great. The bed and pillows were awful. I could feel the springs in the bed. The pillows just flattened. I slept horrible.
- 4/5
Good option
- 5/5
I love staying here it made me very comfortable and relax the beds was very soft and the room was very clean and to my liking
- 5/5
Loved the spacious room with a balcony.
- 5/5
Excellent place, excellent service. I would recommend it to family and friends
- 3/5
Upon arrival, we were told that the room we reserved months ago was no available. They offered us two separate rooms to split our stay, but this is not ideal when traveling with a small child. Ultimately the staff took care of us and “upgraded” us to a jr suite. This room leaked water from one of the fire sprinklers in the main bedroom, and was missing 1 of 2 blackout curtains in the bedroom which defeated the purpose of the curtains. The carpet was also stained. The staff was courteous and attentive, but the state of the hotel facilities needs a lot of work.
- 2/5
And the staff was super friendly and helpful very impressed by hospitality. However, the room is outdated. The TV is very old and the bed is very firm and old and the bathroom seems rundown in the room.
- 5/5
Parking is convenient, staff was welcoming. Price was acceptable and the room was perfect and clean!
- 4/5
It was great size and clean. The only thing is it didn’t have an exhaust in the bathroom so after showering it would get muggy but overall wonderful experience, I would book again
- 4/5
We arrived very late probably like past 1 am due to traveling from Monterrey, to my surprise their was a line of 8 people trying to check-in. Plus more people kept arriving. The poor lady was doing her best to check-in as fast as she could. That was just an inconvenience, the room was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults. We didn't use any other amenities because we just needed a place to sleep since we where traveling first thing in the morning to Baja. My suggesting would be to have more staff help out during the late shift specially during a holiday weekend and it seemed to me their was a fair event going on. Hense why everyone was probably arriving so late to check-in. Other than that room was fine. Ps could use a little updating.
- 1/5
Staff on the phone were rude
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 3/5
That said, given the inconvenience, I would have expected a bit more effort—perhaps some help with the move or an upgrade. I even checked online and saw that other rooms were available. I didn’t ask for anything extra, but it would’ve been nice if they had offered. The beds weren’t very comfortable, and overall, I don’t think I’ll be returning. On a positive note, my girls did enjoy the pool.
- 5/5
We liked everything . This is my 2nd time staying this Sheraton hotel. I will come back for sure when i visit San Diego again.
- 5/5
Everyone was really nice and accommodating

Old property
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Room is very clean, beds are comfortable. The only thing i didnt like was the unfriendly staff at the front desk.
- 5/5
The room had a great view, a balcony, a couch a seat at the end of the bed, fluffy pillows, updated TV sets. Drawers... It was like a studio, just no way to cook something, at least in the room I had. Either way, fantastic.
- 4/5
Nice and comdfortable
- 5/5
Check in and check out were easy and the staff super friendly. The room was clean and parking was affordable with my Marriott rate.
