Before walking in front door, there was a pile of someone's personal belongings stacked up as if someone was kicked out. Then door is locked. You need room key or someone to buzz you in. Front desk clerk was checking in someone else and couldn't get to door so another guest used their key to let us in. Clerk was extremely slow during check in process. Lobby had broken tiles on floor and overall looked like an older, unkempt property. We got up to 2nd floor room and it was not much better. Dried toothpaste in sink and room felt dingy. I'm not particular and it was only for one night. It served its purpose in that we had a place to shower and sleep. However as my daughter just moved to the area and we plan to visit often, I know I will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
I liked the fact that the staff was very helpful. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay such a high deposit before I could get my room. Then you only get two sets of towels it was three of us. Overall I did us the laundry facilities and I liked having a decent kitchen for the kids. The parking lot floods so dont park in the middle, I had to swim to my car, the water was up to my doors.

I had booked another hotel for the same date first. But when I had arrived after driving 9 hours, that place was awful and disgusting. I immediately left and cancel it. Then I also immediately booked a room at America suites. Even after everything confirmed that I had the room booked with America Suites, they would not let me check in. Kept saying they weren't showing that my room had been booked. I showed them the email that American Suites sent me to confirm with a confirmation number, and they still would not let me check in. After I had driven for 9 hours. I ended up having to sleep in my car and I went and got another hotel the following morning.

The general manager was very nice The door handle to the bathroom was broken off. There was urine stains on the wall in the bathroom. The dresser was broken. Our hotel room door did not shut all the way and the key card didn’t always work, you had to almost bus the door down to get in and there was a horrible smell of weed.

The deposit never returned to my account. I booked my reservation online, and during check in i paid 107 dollars for the deposit. After a proper checkout and being told 3-10 days itll return, it didnt. I called to ensure there werent any problems with the room and that the funds were released 2 weeks after not seeing the funds. They ensured the room was fine and the funds were released. To this day i dont have the funds and they blamed my bank. My bank hasnt seen or recovered the funds.

The property was dirty, the evening staff was not friendly, the kitchen in the room was out dated , and there was no towels in the room. The carpet in the lobby, hallway, and the room was nasty. I would not recommend this hotel in this area.
- 2/5
Window screens either ripped or missing. Security door NOT secured. Floor in room was filthy. And have fun trying to get clean towels or toilet paper!
- 0.5/5
The door to the room was loose, bathroom door didn’t lock, curtains were dirty and falling off the wall, carpets were filthy. I would never stay at this hotel again
- 1/5
The place was dirty. Trash all out in the hallways. They don't vacuum the hallways. One of our room keys didn't work. Someone came and tried selling us boot leg AirPods in the parking lot. I payed almost $200 for this room for one night and it was honestly scary. The area was horrible and sketchy. The entire place smelled.
- 1/5
Building needs a lot of work - chip paint, molding, tub/shower old chip, rusted, build up mold musty earthy odor, water damage. Appliances not working microwave, lamps - telephone in not working; outlets; only one lamp working in the bedroom area. Beds are carts with a flat mattress that is pushed against the wall. Photos on website is not what you see in the room. Hallway musty order dark, low lighting. No maintenance or manager on duty on weekends to address issues, concerns or problems. Breakfast is a standard table with breakfast bar, dry cereal, coffee. This hotel need to be torn down! Do not waste your money and expose yourself, family, friends to a dump; a hole in the wall!
- 1/5
The first room we were given was not even ready but was under maintenance. Photos attached.

Rooms were not the cleanest. We killed a roach or two. The furniture needs to be upgraded.

There was some ventilation happening within the HVAC system. I'm wondering if it's due to mold or if it's from something less savory, like a dead body. Neither would've surprised me and I didn't ask. A bunch of little things were broken in the room.

The staff at Extended Stay were extremely kind and welcoming. The room had a few repairs that needed to be made, but nothing that changed our opinions on the hotel itself. The location was great, and if you're wanting to do things downtown, this is the perfect location. I would highly recommend.

It was fine. My room smelled, like a fruity smell. Don't know what it was.
- 3/5
There wasn’t any hot water….. it was warm at best…
- 2/5
When we arrived, people were smoking outside the front doors, so we entered through a cloud of smoke. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. But I was told I would receive a receipt by email from hotels.com and never received anything. As we got off the elevator, we had to step over someone passed out drunk and snoring, the beer can just a few inches from his hand. The room did not match the online pictures. The dresser drawer looked chewed. The floors were very dirty. And one of the soap packages was open, wet, and missing soap. The outlets on the same wall as the TV all sparked when I tried to plug in my laptop.
- 1.5/5
Price was okay Location, amenities, and everyone staying there was very sketchy. We ended up leaving and getting another hotel
- 4/5
rooms great... staff can be a nuisance on calling your phone if you pay daily, regarding check in on a room you paid for on the night befor.Yes, they will still interupt you when all info is on their computer about you paid up & wanting to stay in same room, but wont check you back in automatically, real bummer...
- 1/5
Place was run down and had roaches. Got charged for a sheet swap?
- 2/5
The location wasn't bad. You can set the AC on 60 The pilling paint, the slippery bathtub with smell in the water having to fight with the key reader to even get into the building which is a work choice because you have to get inside the building to check in to get the key. Checking out the lady was just very unprofessional. Would not ever go back there again
- 2.5/5
Was there to see Savanah Bananas with my son in laws as a treat and bonding experience. Location was good and price was good and reasonable. Advertised as a suite with breakfast. Rooms were very small and no where near the description of a suite in my opinion. Breakfast did not exist as advertised. Breakfast consist of two types of muffins less than 6 muffins total and coffee only to drink. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Location Thought room was paid for ahead but still had to put a deposit on file which is still on my charge account.

Nothing We booked two double rooms. One room had a dirty rag hanging on the shower and spots on the bed sheets. The second rooms bathroom became flooded because when using the sink all the water would spill out from the pipes. The toilet would not work. The bathtub was very black and moldy. We went to the lobby to complain and ask for a new room. They were out of double rooms so they gave us two single rooms. One of those two new rooms had rat poop on the bed, and stains on the sheets. the toilet had pee and toilet paper in it. There was used soap and shampoo in the shower and hairs all over the shower and sink area. They also never threw out the trash of the previous guests because the trash can in the kitchen was found with trash in it, including cheese, strawberries, bread, and other fruits. Two roaches ran out of the cabinet when opening it and there were still more inside of the trash can. The hallways are carpeted and very dirty. Trash and crumbs on the corners against the wall. Also the place had a strong smell of weed. It seemed that the guests smoke weed by the stairs area.

Nothing The hotel smells bad n rude employees
- 1/5
Terrible hotel
- 1/5
The kitchen only had a two burner cooking area with no oven. The door underneath the sink was loose. No plates,no utensils. The alleged queen sized bed wasn't level roaches in the bathroom and rest of room. I had to get clean towels myself. No hangers all trash accumlated i had to put out for the time i spent there. One roll of toilet paper i then had to go to the desk and get another..The room was not even worth the 504.00 i had to pay for the stay. The staff was good. I will never stay in one of properties again!! I would rate it not even half a star. The upside to this whole debacle was i got my security deposit back in a timely manner. There also was no shampoo in the bathroom and had to purchase disinfectant wipes to clean the bathroom!
- 1/5
This place do not have chairs neither table to enjoy …. coffee, eggs and muffins.
- 1/5
From the second I arrived at this dump, I knew it was ALL going to be bad. Lets talk about the drug deals, prostitutes, or the couple spaces near the main entrance dedicated specifically for Police vehicles. Rooms are completely outdated and smell so bad that I had to rewash ALL of my clothing after only two days there. There was a giant hole on the inside wall of my bathtub/shower, so I couldnt bathe. I accidentally cut my finger on the handle of the fridge while opening it. After cleaning my finger and wrapping it up, I must have got a small amount of blood on their sheets while I slept. After DEMANDING the company I work for moves me like NOW, I recieved not one, but TWO charges on my debit card, both for $267.50. They refuse to talk to me about a solution to getting at least one of those transactions refunded. I literally had to cancel my debit card in fear of them continuously charging my account. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

Can uber to river front easily!

Kitchen had everything we needed
- 5/5

- 5/5
Even though it is an old property its ok to be there. Closer to everything around. Easy access. Really convenience
- 5/5
Veey cozy bines, and real quiet

- 4/5
Ok
- 1/5
Smells like urine, had roaches, bed buds, ants, and a soggy carpet. Also had zero ammenieities listed and unsafe furnishings and fixtures
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly & accommodating. I just wish it was possible to leave luggage securely there before the check in time.
- 1/5
Unprofessional staff, dirty, used linens . No bathroom tissues.
- 1/5
Literally didn’t even have toilet paper, the counters were sticky, there were someone else’s sticky notes everywhere. It was obviously not clean. Just go someone else and save your money. Literally had to step over trash at the front doors because no one emptied their trash at their entrance door.
- 3/5
Floors and bathtub was were dirty and the room was stinky, but otherwise an OK stay. Helpful staff. Nice linens and bedding and better lighting than most hotels. Kitchen items available at front desk to use in the mini kitchen. Grab-and-go breakfast was very minimal. Affordable and good location for driving to sites around Savannah.
- 1/5
This property was disgusting. My room had a cockroach infestation and there were bed bugs in the bed.
- 3/5
Kind of ghetto, but a tolerable amount I guess.
- 1/5
👎👎
- 2/5
Checking in we were alright iffy because of other reviews. Got checked in, on the eay up the while floor had a smell. We got to the room and table leg was broke, light switch between bed was broke, alarm clock cord had been cut, the sheets on the bed had stains and the mattress pad on the bed was nasty. Contacted the front desk and the guy was very nice and changed them out, but there is no telling how long that pad had been on there. We dont plan on staying there again.
- 5/5
No coke products in vending machines. No ice machine. Otherwise great overnight stay.
- 1/5
I was bitten by bed bugs - I’m seeking a refund! Gross! Will never stay there again
- 1/5
They gave away my room because I was a day late and your website wouldn't let me change my reservation dates.
- 1/5
The stay was terrible, first of all the desk lady gave us the wrong room number, and when we used the key it was people living in that room, after getting my correct room number, when we went inside I found 3 sharp staples on the carpet and a empty bad of candy behind the table, the room smells super nasty and the entire hotel smells the same, there is an alarm that is triggered all day long, even at night, this was the most terrible experience we ever had in a hotel, I will never coming back to that place.
- 3/5
The carpet was dirty, and trash was on the floor. I had to change my room because it was undesirable. The counters were all taped up, and the tub was dirty in both rooms. The refrigerators were also rusty.
- 1/5
The card key on front entrance normally did not unlock the door. The rear door made an extremely loud alarm every time someone came in or out of the door 24/7. The carpets were filthy, did not replenish toilet paper and never brought clean towels. I was able to exchange one towel at the front desk during the 9 night stay. Breakfast was terrible. A basket of granola bars, pack of grits, pack of oatmeal and hot water dispenser. Coffee was bad. Cable TV went out and was never repaired during our stay, so we had no TV channels. Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. I will not stay there again.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 3/5
Filthy carpet, smelled like cigarette smoke, Rob was dirty, microwave was dirty. Breakfast bar was a joke
- 1/5
Tried to check in and there were no rooms available. Staff was rude, hotel was not nice.
- 1/5
The hallways are littered with trash. The carpet in the room was badly burned in places & had a powdery substance that hadn’t been swept up. The tv didn’t work & they said it would be tomorrow(after we left) before they could fix it. Right after we checked in the parking lot was blockaded by 4 police cars making an arrest. The front door was supposed to be accessible using a room key but this didn’t work so they said to call using a phone next to the door which didn’t appear to be working either. Bottom line: place is filthy & nothing works. Tried to find another hotel but being Valentines Day, everything was booked up. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
Customer Service was bad.
- 3/5
Our stay was fine until we saw roaches in the bathroom. There was also food in the refrigerator from a previous guest. They only offered to spray the room, they didn't move us nor did they offer to.
- 5/5
Did they not stuck out the mouse about this property was how helpful and professional The staff members were.
- 3/5
We were in Savannah for a very quick trip. In terms of the pros, the staff at this hotel were all excellent, and the price was cheap. The beds were also clean and the linen in good shape. On the downside, it's clear that because the property is inexpensive, a lot of folks treat it like a "party" hotel. The smell of marijuana was pretty prevalent. Also, the floors were in really bad shape - shabby, unclean, and in need of replacement. The same could be said of the furniture. An OK stay for the two nights we were there, but Extended Stay needs to show its properties some care.
- 3/5
Easy place to stop on a roadtrip. Not the greatest condition, but clean.
- 4/5
It was very quiet which was nice the room was clean which was a plus I would definitely book again
- 5/5
It was okay just a lot of weed smoking could be a little better
- 5/5
The property is great other than that is no complaints
- 5/5
I’m erfect
- 1/5
The front desk person was out on a smoke break when we had to come down from the room because our card wouldn’t let us in. We called the number for at least 20 minutes and didn’t get an answer, so we stood and waited late at night in the lobby. Out room was damp, and you could hear dripping the in the wall between the beds and the bath. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold. I woke up completely stuffed up and with a sore throat. They wouldn’t let me cancel the second night because we booked it with Expedia, but we couldn’t stay there a second night, so I had to pay for a different hotel as well as paying both nights for this place even though we couldn’t stay. It was my worst hotel experience ever.
- 5/5
It was decent for the price. I would stay again however need to upgrade to smart tv’s. No internet access.
- 5/5
Very nice to stay!
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly, however the room had a foul odor that required me to buy a room odor eliminator. There was also presence of bugs in the bathroom and a roach in the kitchen. I would be willing to spend a little more to have better accommodations.
- 3/5
Nice staff
- 3/5
A little out of downtown which was okay, but the bed was hard and the room was run down.
- 2/5
The property was dirty, smelled bad and was sketchy. The lady at the front counter was really nice.
- 5/5
Room smelled very musty, walls and ceiling had visible stains and damage and a/c ran very loud and room remained humid to the point that the floors were too sticky to walk around without shoes on. Staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast snacks were appreciated.
- 4/5
awesome and good for its price
- 2/5
My room had roaches!!!
- 2/5
Staff was friendly. Convenient location.
- 4/5
Only choose this place for the “free breakfast” but their breakfast was only coffee. The room was okay but the air conditioner didn’t really feel like it was cooling the room. Other than that it was good for its price
- 2/5
When we got there i was worried. When we checked in the staff was nice. But when we got to the room the carpet was filthy. The room had. A funny smell I lysoled the room and the bed. The whole room was old and outdated. The microwave had rust in it the fridge worked ok the bed was comf y
- 1/5
No one at front desk. Waited 20 min.
- 5/5
Excellent friendly front desk staff that were always ready to help!
- 1/5
We didn’t stay at the property due to bed bugs and roaches in the bed.
- 4/5
Run down but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was fantasic. Loved the ease of parking. Easy to get to resturants and shopping.
- 2/5
Walls were cracked and everything outdated. Killed 7 roaches during my two night stay.
- 2/5
The first room we were given was dirty, smelled of smoke, and had a roach crawling in the bathtub. The front desk gave us a different room which was fine.
- 3/5
amplias habitaciones pero poco mantenidas. muchas luces rotas.
- 3/5
I usually take reviews with a grain of salt, there are a lot of negative people that will find fault with everything! But, the only positive things I can say about this hotel is every staff member I met was amazingly nice and helpful. Second, the location was convenient for my visit…but that’s it. It seemed the room haven’t been taken care of. I picked this hotel because I wanted to cook a few meals instead of eating all meals out. The website stated that this hotel had that. But I had to ask for utensils, plates , bowls and cups . Then I had to purchase dish soap, shampoo, body soap elsewhere …because it wasn’t in the room . The floors must never be mopped, because the short distance from the shower to the bed, my feet were so dirty, I had to keep a towel beside the bed so I could wipe my feet off before getting into bed ! And of course the tiny bugs and roaches. Again, I feel bad for posting this.
- 1/5
AVOID THIS MOTEL! Cockroaches in the room. Shower so disgusting, afraid to use. Sticky substance on bathroom floor. Dried gum on carpeting. Room on front side of motel, so heard people at 'smoking table' all night, despite windows being closed. Absolutely disgusting. Absolutely horrible stay. Told front desk. Said she would tell the manager, but am sure complaint will go nowhere. PS No coffee cup lids so unable to take one to go. No sugar for coffee anyway. This place is revolting. We are still nauseous.
- 1/5
The room smelled like spoiled wet dogs. What if I had kids. You should be ashamed of your self and can stick all of your hotel rooms up your ?. I will never use this hotel site again
- 1/5
That place was nasty. Roaches everywhere!!! They should close it down for a few day and get it fumigated. The rooms are good and the price was great but I wouldn’t recommend unless you want roaches everywhere.
- 2/5
Bathroom lights didn’t work. Faucet dropped. Floors where dirty
- 1/5
Would not recommend even for my dog was dirty and smell was bad
- 5/5
This hotel was an amazing place to stay. Its proximity to the city is decent, and its not too crowded.
- 4/5
If you are looking for quiet - this may not be the best location - this is on the 'main' busy road: cars/trucks showing off who has the loudest stereo/exhausts will be driving up and down for a quite few hours at night on the weekend. Lack of an ice machine was disappointing.
- 1/5
Roaches where in the room ..
- 2/5
I found bugs in the room. Gross. The hotel did not smell great and the fan in the bathroom is too loud. I won't be back.
- 2/5
Staff was unfriendly, room needs to be repair, no coffee for breakfast , no actually breakfast itself.
- 1/5
Would not recommend. Hotel was dirty in front and had a fowl odor when we entered. We were informed there was no housekeeping during stay. We were asked to bring our trash to front desk for disposal as well bring dirty linens in order to exchange for clean ones. Front desk was not present or helpful when they were. Waste of money. We ended up leaving a day early for another hotel as we could no longer tolerate being there.
- 3/5
Door to room did not lock. Ok for the money.
- 5/5
Only about 10 minutes away from downtown Savannah and a lot of choices for shopping on the same street
- 5/5
Very nice and quiet
- 2/5
This location was my first visit and last. The staff was or is excellent especially Zandra the assistant manager. She was very helpful and friendly The overall manager was wonderful as well and she was extremely helpful with me early departure. My biggest compaint is:Roaches dropping from the cooking counter top I think or the ceiling. I heard it hit the floor. Once I killed it, I noticed it had a sack which means it was carrying it's babies. Then to find a roach in the bathroom. I dumped my garbage every night myself. The RUG should be removed. I do understand this is a no-frills location and excellent for all visitors either; low income, workers of all categories, vacationers and etc., use this hotel Chain. Even a no Frills should spray and provide better cleanup after each guest. Granted this establishment will continue to thrive but this location will never see my face again. SHUT IT DOWN AND DO A GOOD CLEANUPP DISGUSTING AND WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN MY ENTIE ADULT LIFE (60 YEARS)
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly. But I had to wipe my feet before I got in bed because the floor was dirty.
- 1/5
Hands down WORST hotel we have ever stayed in. First it took 15 minutes for someone to show up at front desk, there was a line of people waiting. Dirty, smelly, and nothing worked. Out of 6 lamps in the room only one worked and that was if you shoved the broken off switch into the wall. Hair dryer attached to wall didnt work. We always bring our own clorox wipes and wipe down surfaces when we get somewhere and all wipes came up brown from bathroom sink, kitchen counter, etc. Not to mention you hear everyone slam their doors all through the night so didnt sleep at all. I want my $200 back!
- 2/5
Ugh!!! Gross. This place was gross. Not worth what we were charged for sure. Thank goodness I did not see any bugs but the place is gross.
- 3/5
average property with an average cleanliness, average location, and average friendliness.
- 5/5
N/a
- 2/5
Also men noted in parking lot consuming alcoholic beverages…. With trash piled up out side of their van.
- 4/5
The staff was great! A bit of a bug issue in the bathroom area, but otherwise an acceptable option for Savannah.
- 1/5
The room smells like weed and cigarettes. The sheets had spots on them. And the breakfast was a grab-and-go. The place needs some help.
- 3/5
Clerks were reserved but polite Hotel appeared dated as in paint, carpet, bathroom fixtures.
- 1/5
When we arrived to check in, we had to pick up a phone inside of the main entrance to communicate with the desk clerk. She refused to let us in to check into our room that we paid for through Expedia. Now we have to go through a process to get a refund for a stay that we were unable to experience due to the laziness and rudeness of the staff.
- 1/5
There were homeless people hanging out in front of the hotel. Looked like they were hanging inside as well. The conditions was old and outdated. The bed was made but the sheets were old. It was so horrible I didn’t stay the second night. I was afraid for my safety.
- 2/5
There were a large number of people wandering the property indoors and outdoors. I am not sure but I believe many were homeless or did not have rooms at this hotel.
- 2/5
At first glance hotel looked good but people hanging out on the front entrance smoking cigarettes gives a bad impression and intimating . This hotel looks like houses homeless shelter ,I couldn't verify that , also, room had roaches , plus need some update . the neighborhood was good and classy.
- 5/5
The room smelled, and it was not in the best condition will not stay there again I do not recommend it. It was also noisy. The hallways or dirty.
- 4/5
The property on the inside is very outdated and also dirty. I would not recommend or ever stay here again.
- 3/5
Very basic.
- 1/5
I did not stay. Turn in the key because the smell was awful. I have asthma and just couldn’t stay. Would like a refund. Thanks

It smelled like we were sleeping in an ashtray. We didn't even stay our second night it was so terrible. Made me cough all night long, the shower did not make us feel any better.

We had two issues, first the room door did not close and we did not really discover that until the next day which they fixed. The second huge issue is that someone smoked in that room for a long time, like days, the room stunk the entire 2 days and they could not get the stink out. It was so bad our friend who is a smoker that smokes outside stepped into our room and was stunned on how bad it was.

Pillows smelled like sweat. Homeless people hovered in front of the property. Breakfast advertised was just a breakfast bar and coffee in served in entrance. So dirty they even had a brush in front entrance to scrape off mud on boots. Appliances rusty in some kitchenette that didn't even contain a coffee pot not ice bucket, of course no ice. Disgraceful property should be close down, particularly because of COVID. Will never stay in this brand of hotel again.

We also ran into these minor issues with out stay: missing kitchen utensils, missing drinkware, missing plates, pots, etc. No soap, no ice bucket or ice tray. Strong smell of pot in the stairwell and elevator. I don't know the laws in GA, but what good are nonsmoking rooms if any kind of smoking is tolerated inside the property as a whole?

It was a last gasp get away.. the room and hotel need some tlc but it was workable.. bed was not comfortable to my picky back. Location was convenient to almost everything (food near t, Publix nearby, easy to get downtown, etc).

I was worried about booking this property after reading the reviews but it was a holiday weekend and options were limited. I was very pleased with my stay. The staff member Marie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The furniture in the room could use some updating as it shows some wear but the room was very clean with plenty of towels and a working television and heating/AC system. I was only there for one night so it worked out just fine. If I had to complain about anything it will be the noise from the room above me. It was quite loud anytime anyone would walk I am guessing it is because there are now hardwood floors and no carpet which makes every little noise above you that much more amplified I would suggest staying on the third floor. Luckily I had earplugs with me so it was fine.

First off, I had to pay for two nights when I tried to cancel one of the nights that I did not need anymore. Second the place is gross… very smoky smell, towel over the fire alarm and gross bathroom..
