Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, and good location. However, some guests had issues with the cleanliness of certain rooms, noise levels, and breakfast quality.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean and spacious rooms
- Inconsistent cleanliness in rooms
- Noise levels

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which is perfect for families. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the living room. Each room had its own bathroom, which was nice for privacy. Overall, a good size room with plenty of space to stretch out and relax.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the bed comfortable. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
My family and I enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back the next time we travel to Savannah. The staff was friendly and when we needed extra clean linen, the staff got it right away. Also, the breakfast area was nice and clean and there were good food options to choose from and not just your ordinary waffles, instant grits etc.

To start with we booked the room back in Feb. When we got in the room it was not a king but green. They told us they upgraded us That’s not a upgrade Also counter in kitchen was dirty , electric outlet in bathroom didn’t work also when you would turn light on in bathroom it would blink several times before coming on and the coffee creamer in room had expired 2 months ago. Now as I said we booked in Feb for our May 28 th arrival for 3 nights. This was graduation time for SCAD so finding another place at such a late date was not an option. We should have been told prior to checking in that they couldn’t honed our booking. I am on Dialysis and require certain things. It was later learned they had a fire in some rooms reason we didn’t get King. All this should have been informed to us prior. They just said we could go to another Hotel if we wished. Knowing all along that all hotels were booked because of the graduation. Very poor experience here will never stay at Residence Inn in Savannah again. Also at 12 15 am had to call front desk about someone playing basketball which was right outside our window. Their response was. Is it bothering you. No I just called to chat.

Upon entering the building, it was musty and dark. Our room, a 2 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch, had remnants of previous tenants (aka trash on the floor, a dead bug by the fire place), the blackout curtain was broken so it couldn't even be shut all the way, the window sills were covered in dust, the door did not latch/unlatch properly, the toilet handle was hanging loosely. The staff on duty showed my husband 2 other rooms which also showed lack of proper cleaning and something in our gut told us not to stay here, so we left with our kids and our stuff and went to another hotel. Trying to work with them to get even a partial refund has been a complete joke. I have been contacting Expedia to try to get more than a $90 compensation but the hotel manager apparently is not being responsive. We shared our pictures with Expedia.
- 5/5
The room was large. And very comfortable
- 5/5
It’s the Residence Inn. Of course it never disappoints
- 1/5
Upon checking in, I was assigned room 112. However, upon entering, I detected a strong odor of marijuana, which necessitated a room change to 119 and it has less strong odor. The entire lobby also had a pervasive odor, suggesting indoor smoking. Furthermore, the provided extra blanket was stained, and the replacement I received last night was damp. During my three-night stay, no room service was provided. The toilet was unclean upon my arrival, and there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, nor were the lobby refrigerators stocked. Overall, this was a highly unsatisfactory experience. I find the $700 charge for these conditions unacceptable, especially considering this is a Marriott brand, yet the quality of service and amenities was more akin to a budget motel.

Comfort , clean and quiet
- 2/5
Very dated / old
- 2/5
Truly shocked at the high ratings. While the staff was all friendly that’s the only good thing about this hotel. For the price I’m just very disappointed. It’s rundown and dirty. I really wish I would have read the google reviews before booking because they are much more accurate. The shower had mold and soap scum. Wall paper was coming off the walls. The couch grossed me out I couldn’t even sit on it, it looked dirty and worn down. We had a reservation for 5 people and were only given 3 towels. The hair dryer didn’t work and there was no conditioner. The toilet ran all night and was really loud. The breakfast was ok, muffins were undercooked and eggs were super watery. They do have waffles which were good. Location was close to a lot of store and not super far from downtown.
- 4/5
The breakfast was better than expected as I was told it would be continental. It wasn't. Meat, eggs, waffles, oatmeal. Really a full breakfast. Staff was friendly. Quiet as well.
- 5/5
Stay was very good, breakfast was always good had plenty choices. I felt the room was clean but after being there for more than a week the bathroom could have been cleaned better and room vacuumed!
- 5/5
I got a random call the morning after check-in asking if I had in fact checked in
- 1/5
Unclean rooms, broken cabinets in kitchen, lingering smell of smoke
- 5/5
Breakfast sandwhich terrible. The rest was as expected for free breakfast
- 4/5
Checked in around 5 PM, greeted and promptly checked into room 308, the room was in top condition and pretty clean. I enjoyed the pool and fireplace amenity, alongside the comfortable bed and engaging TV. When I checked out I was charged for parking even though I did not have one there, but the issue was quickly resolved. Would stay here again 👍
- 4/5
Clean The elevator was out the entire trip.
- 3/5
The breakfast was great! We loved the fire pit. The elevator didn't work, the pool was cold, and our key cards kept deactivating.
- 4/5
The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We were grateful for the breakfast and had plenty of options from hardy to healthy. The waffle maker was a favorite. The elevator was not working while we were there but the front desk staff kindly took our luggage upstairs for us. The pool was small but pleasant and available as early as 6am! The gym was probably the one area that needed some love as one of the two treadmills was would not turn on and had been repaired with duct tape. All that said, I would stay here again and found the room very comfortable, spacious and clean. Great housekeeping!
- 4/5
Decent breakfast
- 4/5
Nice staff, great amenities (little market, indoor pool, outdoor fire pit, outdoor basketball court, complimentary hot breakfast), good location. The elevator button was broken/falling off and in need of repair (although we did get the elevator to work).
- 3.5/5
Location The overwhelming smell of marijuana all throughout the first floor and stairs was a bit much. There were multiple pieces of equipment or facilities that was being held up with duct tape (button for elevator, electrical boxes, etc), the king suite we were in overall was fine but the bathroom shower had not been cleaned in a while. The grimy build up that turns brownish red when not cleaned was present. A lot of dust on ledges and even lightbulbs.
- 4/5
Breakfast is excellent with a lot of options for a family with kids.
- 5/5
Super spacious room and loved the breakfast selection in the AM!
- 3/5
There was one desk clerk that was great. I don't recall his name but he was working until 11 p.m. when we checked in on Friday...The others were pretty much on the 'blah' side. We never got housekeeping to clean out room, even once. We had a pile of dirty towels and washcloths by the shower that were never picked up. We asked at the desk twice and also called about room service and finally , on Sunday went to the desk and were furnished with some towels and wash cloths. We were there from Friday to Tuesday morning. .......
- 5/5
Did not use internet or have breakfast.
- 3/5
Room was clean, breakfast had a very limited selection of food,
- 2/5
Close to a lot of restaurants. Hotel could definitely use some remodeling. Our room smelled like a nursing home.
- 1/5
Definitely bare bones. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed! The bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t get comfortable. The pillows were worn out. The couch had seen better days and was very uncomfortable. We will never stay at another Residence Inn. Marriott should be ashamed putting there name on this business.
- 1/5
I will not be using them again.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. Loved how they had bottles of water and candy upon checking in. The elevator was not working during our stay. We had to carry our bags and other items up the stairs to our room. We was not notified about this situation before our check in dates. The water pressure to the sink in the bathroom was low but it was doable. No evening reception anymore.
- 3.5/5
overall stay was great. clean room, spacious, convenient for in town travel. Elevator was broken, and we were on the 3rd floor and had to take the stairs very inconvenient with our luggage that we had to carry up 3 flights of stairs ☹️ exhausting. No room service during our stay. But overall stay was great. clean rooms and room was what I expected!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing!
- 2/5
Many employees not doing anything with clearly dirty areas of property. Trash outside. Something spilled in elevators. Elevators out over 24 hours. Shower door track dirty and broken. Ripped wallpaper stapled into place.
- 4.5/5

- 2/5
He made me feel unsafe and if I was alone I wouldn’t have felt comfortable having him in there. He flipped the switch for the garbage disposal on his way out of the room?? And then left. The strangest interaction I’ve ever had with any maintenance staff. We didn’t encounter any staff members that would be considered professional or up to par with what I would expect from Marriott. There were more issues but I’m out of room.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay! The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. The room was spotless and very well kept, which made everything feel comfortable and relaxing. One of our favorite parts was the fire pit area — it was so nice being able to sit around it at night, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we truly had a GREAT stay! 🔥✨
- 1.5/5
Good location away from downtown but close enough to get there quickly. Appeared well cleaned but my friend and I both left our stay with bug bites that happened overnight.
- 4/5
Good location good breakfast
- 5/5
FANTASTIC find. What a fabulous place to stay for 3 nights. Enjoyed every minute. The breakfast selection and quality is one of the best we’ve ever experienced in the US. Our room was bigger than my apartment back in Sheffield ! Full kitchen with appliances and even a dishwasher . I cannot heap enough praise upon the staff and the hotel in general and I can’t wait to return. I hope breakfast lady enjoyed her cadburys chocolate !
- 5/5
The entire hotel was very clean and the ladies at the front desk were wonderful!
- 3.5/5
Size of room and comfort Smelled like someone been smoking inside
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and my kids used the pool during our stay. The pool was very cold but they still had fun. The mens bathroom was out of order in the lobby, but other than that it was a great stay.
- 4/5
Room was very spacious. Staff was very courteous. The motel was quiet.
- 1.5/5
Clean and comfortable. Check in clerk was downright sleazy trying to over charge for room. I'm planning on alerting the Marriot hotel and company. He told me rate was $220. When I disputed that he told me he had tax, fee and parking. First if all I arrived in an Uber. Next I informed him I was aware the tax and fees were $30 and the room was quoted to me as costing $120.i expected to pay around $150. He told me the room was $150 and then add $30. It was like he was bartering with me. Very strange - the whole situation. I wound up paying the $180 charge since I was stuck there. I will never. Go back there and this hotel needs to check on the honesty of their staff
- 2/5
Staff is great but the Hotel needs a major facelift and renovations.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, polite staff bathroom amenties and gym. Loved the market and great parking
- 4/5
Great breakfast and large rooms.
- 5/5
The staff was great, the room was stocked with cookware and dishes, and spotless. Very comfortable kitchen and dining area, a big sofa and desk space. Checking in and out was quick and easy. We will definitely stay again soon
- 2.5/5
The most enjoyable part of the stay was the staff that we dealt with especially the night crew Kiara she was very knowledgeable and as able to assist us in our stay. The bed was hard and they put someone across from use with barking dogs and we got woke up around 7ish in the morning. The tv didn't work well in the living room.
- 4.5/5
The staff was the best The marijuana smoking
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but I was dissappointed to find out, turkey products are seved on specific days. When staying in other hotels, both were served so that, every morning, guests had a choice. There was a slight odor in the room. Also, when housekeeping came to tidy up the room, the bathrroom sink was not cleaned from my husband having shaver earlier that morning. I scrubbed it myself.
- 4.5/5
No body wash in tub dispenser. No bath mat in slippery tub. No housekeeping even when requested.
- 3.5/5
It was close to everything and the staff was nice The pillowcase was dirty, and one of the bathroom showers was draining slowly, so the water remained in the tube. So that cost us to share a bathroom. The knob in the other bathroom was hard to turn on. It took some time time but we finally got it to turn on. Also it smell old and stuffy when we walked into the room. It didn't smell fresh
- 4/5
The shower water was not HOT enough
- 5/5
Clean room staff
- 4/5
Enjoyed the option of indoor pool in winter time, only about 13min from hustle and bust of District area of Savannah Not being made aware until arrival of the The nightly parking fee. Online upon booking, it stated parking was free. But upon arrival I noticed a signed taped to the front desk stating nightly parking fee. It would have been nice to be made aware ahead of time or told by the front desk staff as a curtsey.
- 4/5
Nice place, very confortable and nice breakfast. Need a little renewal, but overall very good
- 4/5
However, I rented a room with 2 bedrooms but I received 2 separate rooms instead, because the hotel staff said they don’t have that type of rooms. This was very inconvenient, especially when you have 2 young daughters and we didn’t want them alone in a different room.
- 2/5
The guest room lacks a blanket; the air conditioning unit is outdated and produces loud noises. Additionally, the mattress and sofa bed are old and offer very limited comfort for sleeping.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
The staff was great, and the hotel was cozy. It is an older property that needs some preventative maintenance in its rooms, but overall very nice and I will stay here again.
- 4/5
The sofa was dirty and arm broken.
- 4/5
Room very clean lots of tvs .rooms have great kitchen
- 5/5
Quiet and convenient room was nice for the price
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was great. We had 2 service dogs and the space was just right. I will definitely be staying ago on my next trip there.
- 2/5
Breakfast options so limited not my preference
- 5/5
Everything the room was perfect!!
- 2/5
The receptionist was way too casually dressed and spoke broken English when directions and suggestions were needed. The pull out couch needs to be pulled out of the room. The arm rest was broken and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The toilet ran mot of the night and had to be adjusted several times to quiet it down in order to sleep. The entrance and exit on white bluff is a hazard due to fast moving traffic which disturbed rest time at times. The microwave was covered with aluminum foil on the top right side which made us concerned about using it. There are several upgrades needed!
- 1/5
The property needs remodeling. Several pieces of worn, old furniture, broken tiles, stained carpets, and musty-smelling rooms. I would not recommend staying! Having been a Marriott customer for the last 30 years, I was very disappointed, as the upstairs neighbor was so loud till 3-4 am on two consecutive nights! Hotel management told me they couldn't do anything about it other than to ask the guest to please be quiet!!??
- 1/5
Hotel rooms smell bad. Location was sketchy
- 5/5
Room was clean and breakfast was great!
- 4/5
Breakfast was good and the staff was plesant and professional
- 5/5
Awesome room clean courteous staff
- 5/5
Every employee was courteous and very willing to attend us.
- 5/5
The kitchen was well equipped.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay thank you
- 3/5
Sofa mattress was worn and uncomfortable
- 5/5
Clean ,safe great walkable area.
- 1/5
Bad experience
- 4/5
The property did not clean my room daily or every other day, as stated to me. The water pressure and flow was not good. The property was convenient to down town and I felt safe.
- 5/5
All around great hotel. The staff was amazing.
- 5/5
My room was very quiet. The breakfast was great, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. The check out time was unexpected, but appreciated.
- 3/5
The property personally was ok besides the ac sounding like a tractor trailer taking off and the spiders and ants. All these things were durable but when I saw the weed man and all the alcoholic women stumbling around I became concerned.

The only good thing about the room was that the beds were comfortable. Had to go down to the desk for towels, request housekeeping, and broken things because no phone in the room worked. The dishwasher was broken. There was only one door on both closets which looked super trashy. One shower had 2 soaps and a conditioner, zero shampoo. Random fire alarm went off for no reason. Housekeeping came about every other day but never vacuumed. Breakfast was mid, lacked fruit options. One day the breakfast sandwiches were cold. Never used the pool because it looked like it hadn’t been treated in several months, couldn’t see the bottom in 5 feet of water. No pan to bake with. The fridge looked trashy with several dents and dings. The deadbolt to the room did not work and you would see light around every side of the door into the hallway, seems like a security and safety risk.

- 1/5
It was very obvious that the people working there and responsible for the upkeep do not care. As far as amenities: the breakfast was decent although they did run out of coffee once. The pool is TINY. Like smaller than a backyard pool. We wouldn’t stay here again
- 5/5
Early check in, great room, very spaciou6 & comfortable beds.
- 2/5
After checkin I went to the room. It was supposed to be a King with a Queen pull out. It was maybe a Queen with a full pull out. The room had a stench to it. The room would not cool down and I sweat most of the night and couldn’t sleep. Breakfast was mid.
- 5/5
The management and staff was phenomenal!
- 4/5
The room and staff was decent. Pool was smaller than expected but it served its purpose for the kids. Gym was also super small and hot, no air. Would of used it but it was too hot in there. Breakfast was satisfactory. I love that they had options for people who prefer to eat healthier. Overall would I come back, yes.
- 5/5
The accommodations were proper and easy to get to areas of interest from were the property is situated
- 4/5
Property was nice. Room was spacious and we loved swimming in the indoor pool. Only complaint I have is the bed was not very comfortable, the double doors that went to the bed room would not lock, bathroom door would not lock and the towel rack one side kept falling down. Other than that the staff was very friendly breakfast was great we really enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend staying there.
- 1/5
If you have allergies AVOID!! Most hotels will have pet rooms separated. This hotel has them mixed and it shows… DOG HAIR IN THE FRIDGE, silverware and dishes. Crusty and Stained everything Regardless of my status with the Marriott brand this entire experience was avoidable. Read the reviews always people. Always. Sometimes spending more money is worth it or just canceling all together. Next day: We are all itching. Will keep updated but the worry is best case scenario fleas, cuz bed bugs are harder to manage.
- 1/5
Doesn't feel like any Marriott ive ever stayed in more like a motel 6
- 3/5
Problems were with 2 male desk clerks and housekeeping. Both female clerks were helpful and kind. At check in, one male clerk insisted we had only booked 1 room, when 3 rooms for 3 nights were booked and paid for through Expedia. This clerk showed distain over our use of Expedia. He was not helpful at all, instead folded his arms defiantly and insisted we only had one room booked. I produced the Expedia receipt and proved we had 3 rooms for 3 nights. He never apologized, just unfolded his arms and acted more humbly. Savannah was very hot and we needed more towels for showering; unfortunately, housekeeping never came to 2 of the 3 rooms even though service was requested in all 3. The male front desk clerk kept telling us that all the towels were in the dryer and it would be an hour before we could have any. 6 hours later one room got 2 towels, which took 5 contacts with him to get. Since no housekeeping, the room coffee was never replenished and the creamers were so old that they had curdled and gelled in their cups. This stay was so close to being great. Just some staffing issues.
- 3/5
The location is good. The staff were very nice and friendly. The couch is not comfortable at all. There was a party at the courtyard which was right in front of my window. It was very loud. Afterward the music was over at 10 pm, people kept talking there until midnight. Don’t stay facing the courtyard.
- 5/5
I loved the bed and the pillows very comfortable. I really had a great stay at this hotel. The hot breakfast was good too. Love this hotel. Would definitely go back there.
- 5/5
Great breakfast quality. Staff was friendly. Pool is small but quiet and indoors.
- 5/5
We stayed for two nights as a family of five, and we were very comfortable with two separate bedrooms and a living room in between. Thank you very much.
- 4/5
Good Location. However property is rundown and requires renovation and seemed understaffed impacting housekeeping services.
- 5/5
Clean and very comfortable suites
- 3/5
This hotel is definitely starting to show at age. The room was clean, the people were nice, and it was relatively quiet. Good luck getting your sheets changed. We stayed seven days and they basically refused to change them. My wife finally got a set of sheets from the Cleaning Lady and we changed them ourselves.
- 5/5
Excellent deal for our week stay in Savannah. The one bedroom suite was spacious and accommodated our family. Breakfast was great and you could bring it to your room. It would be nice if there were vacuums and brooms in the room, otherwise worth every penny!
- 3/5
It was a nice property to stay. Rooms were a great size!
- 5/5
We enjoy our stay and everyone was very pleasant
- 4/5
The overall stay was great. There were a couple of concerns. The room door does not close all the way. You have to lift it up to completely close. Water bubbles behind the wallpaper from the shower. Outside of this, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay. We may return in the near future.
- 2/5
The property is decent, our room had a few issues,
- 4/5
The property and accommodation was fine. It was a little out of the way of the activities of Savannah.
- 3/5
Adequate, but needs some maintenance/ updates.
- 4/5
Near to the arena and grocery store. Plus, it’s only 40-45 min drive to get to Tybee Island
- 5/5
When in Savannah, I would use Residence again
- 5/5
The staff was great!! Lovely indoor pool! Our suite was nice! I love the kitchen and Scrub Mommy! Walking distance to a Publix and restaurants if you don't want to drive or rideshare. Just a great experience! Will definitely come back again!!
- 4/5
Comfort
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed here because of the two bedrooms were pleasantly surprised it also had two bathrooms! Very convenient for our weekend stay for three people!
- 5/5
it was nice

- 3/5
Bedroom was noisy. Room was very close to AC unit outside.
- 5/5
Make sure the ice machine in the rooms work…
- 4/5
I would like to see normal size bath towels - those provided were rather small for an adult
- 3/5
Our room seemed to have a knocking behind wall from bedroom. Maybe pipes Would have been good if someone came to freshen room up as we stayed 2 nights No housekeeping seen
- 2/5
My biggest concern during our stay was the master bedroom suite, which had a significant issue with the double French doors. One of the doors was misaligned by nearly 3/4 of an inch, creating a visible gap and preventing the lock from engaging properly. This lack of alignment eliminated any sense of privacy, which completely undermined the purpose of having a suite. We reported the issue on both the first and second day of our stay, but unfortunately, no one ever came to address it. As someone who works in property management and customer service for over 150 properties, I understand the importance of resolving guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience. Sadly, that standard was not met here. We made the most of it and love the city of Savannah.
- 4/5
Its an older property overall, but bathroom in our room looked updated. Plenty of parking.
- 5/5
Manager was great. Had issues getting in our room with the key card and she personally took care of it. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Booked a 2 bedroom suite. Everything we needed was there, including a complete kitchen. Rooms were clean and updated.
- 5/5
Perfect for a weekend getaway, close to historical Savannah.
- 5/5
Nice friendly hotel great staff mattresses a bit too soft
- 1/5
I didn’t like the fact that non-paying guests were roaming around the hotels using the amenities and then the hotel keeps double charging me.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was amazing! Love the kitchen in the room, love the variety and breakfast!
- 5/5
Everything was fine. Clean room, professional and accommodating staff.
- 3/5
Property was ok. I could never give them a good rating because my card was run for my hotel in the morning before I even had a chance to arrive to the property. When inquiring about why it happened with no notice a clear response was not available.
- 5/5
Enjoyable stay for families.
- 1/5
I did not like that my reservation was unable to be accommodated. I received an email that I did not see because I was driving. Also, not sure how I felt about the customer service.
- 3/5
Shower drain got clogged when we first used it. I called the front desk but they told me that they cannot do anything till morning. I opened the cover of the drain and found that the drain was full of hairs. I removed them by hand.
- 5/5
Room cleanliness
- 1/5
I had to wait for more than an hour for check-in as the room was not ready.
- 5/5
The room could have used a little attention here and there. Nothing major but showed some signs of wear. We felt it provided great value for our time in Savannah. There is a market very close where you can bring in some healthy choices for a light meal.
- 3/5
Most lights had no bulbs or just didn’t work. Staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was fine, building/lobby was nice. Seems to be partially renovated, so hopefully renovations will continue.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and polite. The issues we had with the room that were not addressed was very disappointing. Within an hour of checking in, we discovered that the TV remote in the main room did not work so we had to use the bedroom remote to operate both TV's. Also, the thermostat in the room was not allowing proper adjustments to set the temperature (increase temp button did not work) which caused the room to be too cold since we couldn't raise the setpoint. Neither the remote nor the thermostat were fixed during our two day stay which was very disappointing.
- 1/5
It was not in Midtown Savannah. It was in South Savannah near Pembrook in neighborhood where we did not feel safe. We, apprehensively, checked in and went to our room only to find out it had not been serviced properly. We asked to have it serviced and were told that the maid's had left for the day. Having stayed only at Marriott's before I retired, we checked to see if there was a room at the Marriott on the River in Savannah. We left the Residence Inn immediately and drove all the way to the Marriott on the river. We are asking that you refund our $361.34 immediately.

Cockroach found in the tub. Tub took a little bit to start draining. The pull out bed mattress was stained, flimsy. No fitted sheets provided for it. Also barely fit within the room. When open it getting passed the bed to the room with the bathroom was tricky.
- 5/5
I chose this hotel for its convenience to my doctors office for an outpatient procedure I had. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was comfortable nice clean and very spacious.. I would highly recommend this hotel!
- 4/5
This was our fifth visit to this facility. What stands out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They have always been top notch.
- 4/5
The staff was great!
- 2/5
Had to clean shower drain myself, full of other peoples hair. Other peoples items under the sink. Curtain so dirty I closed it and my eye was swollen for 12 hours from all the dust was suppose to get credit have yet to see it.
- 5/5
The confirmed Travelocity reservation we made (2 rooms) was not what the hotel had. They worked it out to our advantage though. We had to change rooms, and it was messed up on their computer again... but they made it work. The 2nd room we had our stuff moved into already was not on the computer. The could have sold the room with all our stuff in it before we returned that evening!!
- 3/5
Had to call guest services for a hair dryer. Missing closet door. Curtains coming off rod. Thermostat very hard to reach for a short person. Dents in refrigerator. Afternoon/night staff not very nice.

Subpar. Highly disappointed with the condition of the room. Garbage for a Marriott, they should be ashamed.

For the price, this was a steal. We had so much space that we slept alternately in each of the suites. The kitchen fully equipped with new appliances, and dushes.

Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very nice and professional. The rooms was very clean. The only problem in room was the sink near bathroom wasn't flowing well.

All the staff always had a smile and provided the best service possible. Breakfast was great and the lady was always keeping the items available. Would stay again without a doubt!

The area and putting out fresh food. She doesn’t run out of food for her guests. I think this is the BEST place I’ve ever stayed. My niece was with me and is in agreement. Front office staff very friendly and helpful too. Can’t say enough great comments!!’

The area and proximity to downtown was exactly what we were looking for!

The room was clean but the AC was very noisy 😣 and the fire alarm went off 3 times during the night . This means that it was impossible for my baby to sleep.

I stayed at Residence Inn Mariott in Midtown for 5 nights. My stay was very pleasant, comfortable and most of all very relaxing. All staff were very courteous, professional, and friendly. Hotel room, lobby, pool, patio were very clean and breakfast was very good. They served hot breakfast every morning, the ladies who served were genuinely helpful (I needed help with making waffles). I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay!

Hotel was good overall and close to Savannah historic section. Negatives include: Aside from reception person, the staff encountered in hotel was rather cold and aloof. Room only made every other day and no complementary coffee during the day. Breakfast was OK but not anything out of the ordinary. Pool is very small. Hotel gives impression as wanting to cut costs wherever possible,

I didn’t like the service from the waitress/cook in the dining area

We really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing and great place to stay, only 15 minutes away from downtown Savannah.

Reasonably priced.

It was nice to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite but could not get the internet working on our phones.

The room was comfortable, clean, had plenty of space, and good amenities. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. The area was easy to get to and not cramped or congested. Savannah is really beautiful, clean, and safe city. It exceeded all my expectations. It was easy and fast to get to downtown from the hotel. I'm very happy we stayed at Residence Inn.

The heated pool was by far the best feature especially in colder months of travel. The room could've served to be a bit more updated as the couches were older and had a faint smell. Blankets had hair on them which was disappointing. The room itself was very convenient. Loved the suite and the separation of spaces. Staff was sweet and helpful.

Staff were excellent. Hotel is clean but a bit dated. Far from historical center of Savannah.

This is the kind of place you just rest your head if you can… the room, I was originally given was covered in dog hair… I called down and they moved me to another room. The front desk person was nice enough to meet me at the new room, which is just a few doors down. Both rooms were dirty. It looks as if they only just maybe change the sheets and replenish what’s been used… The phone was covered in dust underneath the sink was covered in dust the toilet the top specifically was covered in hair, and there was hair around the sink. The couch and the chairs had Cheetos on them. Don’t ask because I don’t know. The glassware was dirty. The tub was dirty. It was very quiet and in a good area convenient to where I need to go. But I wouldn’t stay there again. The staff was nice enough and the breakfast in the morning looked decent. Just a no for me to stay again

Friendly staff, good parking, clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable, the pullout sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. There were also no bed linens in the room for the pullout bed. The breakfast options--phenomenal!!! My family members with dairy sensitivities were very pleased with the options for them, including oat milk and dairy-free coffee creamers (even flavored ones!). Overall, we were pleased with the stay and would stay here again.
