The star of the show was Ms/Mrs Lisa ! Lisa was very polite upon arrival and always greeted us when entering the lobby arriving for breakfast or leaving each day . I also overheard her acknowledging every guest that walked by . Our room was the king size and it was very clean and spacious! Bed was very comfortable . The pool just underwent renovations and we enjoyed it along with the hot tub . Adult hour being from 11-12am put the icing on the cake also helps the pool area opens at 6am . Let’s not forget the amazing hot breakfast bar ! One day pancakes sausage and eggs were available, another day was sausage , eggs and biscuits and gravy . Along with a waffle maker , oatmeal’s , fruits , pastry’s and juices and coffee . The staff in the dining area were also incredibly kind . Overall we had a great stay I would highland recommend the property

Plastic utensils at breakfast were barely adequate. a whole rack full of herbal tea, but very little black tea to be found.

Had a cancelled flight and arrived exhausted to the hotel. Check in was extremely smooth and the desk clerk was so friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and very clean, everything we needed. The property itself was well cared for and comfortable, inside and out. Lovely breakfast, buffet style with nice choices, well maintained. So glad we chose this hotel in a last minute pinch!

The parking lot was very rough and when we checked in the staff told us that it would be repave and that was starting in the morning and when we expressed concerns about our car being in the parking lot, she said she had had her husband drop her off so her car would not be in the parking lot. As it turned out, the work was not started in the morning. But it was worrisome.

The pool was closed. The sign was confusing and staff had no idea why it wasn't open.

Comfortable bed and great for nearby stores and restaurants. Exercise room pretty bare bones and not maintained. Older partially working treadmills and missing weights in the set. No fan and no mats for the floor.

The hotel was very clean. I really liked the gym. The pool was under construction so I didn’t get to use it. The breakfast was a nice plus. I would add another option of protein daily. I was a little difficulty for uber drivers but once I learned the route I was able to tell in case it was needed. I had ants in my window but didn’t notice it until the last day. Overall an excellent place to stay and I would use again!

I had an issue with my payment (via Booking.com price not matching the price of the rooms) and the property manager took care of the issue because Booking.com reps were not resolving the issue with any urgency and she knew I needed to get my family settled in. She was so helpful & accommodating. I would definitely go back. The pool & hot tub was closed and I didnt get the notification ahead of my arrival.

Out of the two days there was seven times I had to go to the front desk to get my room keys to work. The pool and whirlpool were under construction. I was not notified and when I asked for room service, they said they couldn’t provide a room service that day.

Shout out to the manager Lisa she goes above and beyond. This hotel is truly a Gem. Very clean hotel, with nice breakfast options and a fabulous hot tub.

There’s no toothbrush and toothpaste. Everything else is great

The location of this hotel is very convenient. My stay was okay. My room had two small beds, I believe they were doubles. The fitted sheets didnt pull over the entire mattress. The beds were uncomfortable. There was also some hair in the shower before we used it and the bathroom floor was dirty (which we didn't notice until we moved the drying mat). Overall the staff was nice and welcoming. The room was okay.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We slept well in the beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was that the pool was being remodeled and the parking lot was being repaved, but things need to be updated at some point and it just happened to be this week. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room breakfast not the best

Nice enough, clean and efficient layout. Easy to find. Beds were comfortable and the room was basic, but clean. Breakfast was also standard continental fare for low end hotels, nothing to write home about but not bad. Checkout process was easy. Main issue was a bit of deferred maintenance on the property -- some of which they were addressing (redoing the pool, for example, but that meant we were not able to use it!)

The hotel is older but it seems like they have been updating it. The room looked fresh and clean and updated. But we were not told about the ongoing renovation. My nephew had been looking forward to the indoor pool. I picked it bc of that and it was not disclosed that it was under renovation. So we had to pay to take him somewhere to swim bc he’s young and didn’t understand. They also started working at a little after 7 in the morning and it woke us up bc we were close to the pool area. And they were redoing the parking lot so you had to drive all the way around the back to get to the front door. Overall not bad for the price but I really wish the renovation was disclosed before booking.

Our room (102) was very spacious, clean and nice but we had a ongoing problem with the toilet in our bathroom because it wouldn’t flush most of the time and I kept having to use a plunger almost every time me and my partner used the bathroom. It was quite annoying and made me very irritated I was doing this consistently while being on “vacation”. Also the netflix wasn’t working the the first night for us as well but it did start to work the second night.

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was so so, the hot tub and pool are down right now for Construction, we would definitely come back!

This hotel exceed my expectation for a one night stay. The hotel is newly remodel, the room was nice, comfortable and soft bedding. I had a double room, which was roomy and clean. There was a hot breakfast that was good. The staff and front desk manager Lisa was help, friendly, and made you feel welcomed. At night there was baked cookies, coffee, and tea at check in. It has a hot tub and pool but not accessible due to it being remodel. I will definitely have to return to check it out the finish remodel. Overall a great stay. Wish I could have stayed longer.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Lisa the hotel manager was so kind and welcoming. She made our experience amazing and especially because of her we will be making this our go to hotel when we are here! There was nothing everything was great

I thought the room was very clean until I dropped my lipstick and had to hunt for it. Not good under bed and food under the floating head board. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices.

Night shift front desk staff extremely inviting and accommodating. They made me feel safe and welcomed.

Pool was filthy - couldn't see the bottom as the water was grey! Nasty! Staff was friendly. Hotel was a bit noisy overall.... you could hear people stomping around upstairs while in your room. Bed was not as comfy as expected for the price we paid.

As said before, this is my go to hotel when going to Chicago. Still will be but disappointed with my last stay. We settled in for the night and around 11:30p the TV went out. You could hear , could see the guide, could see if you open YouTube and Netflix but if you tried to go to the channel itself, whether it be regular TV or Netflix YouTube, the screen wouldn't show. Turned tv off ,tried numerous times but nothing worked. As a insomniac it wasn't the best for a TV to go out. All I could do was listen. Asked if there was a partial refund or compensation for this and the worker said she would let the manager know because I'm familiar with the manager, left my number and I never heard from them. There were other issues with the room as well but I won't discuss here because I do like the hotel and the staff. Whether I could get a compensation for that trip, maybe an upgrade on our next visit, anything, I would have appreciated a phone call or email. I will would recommend this hotel to others. They are a great hotel and amazing manager with great staff.

The pool was very cloudy the entire time we were there. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7a on weekends, so if you need to leave early you may need to adjust. The walls must be thin as well because we could hear our neighbors entire conversation and the hallways echoed. It was not terrible by any means, just some things to note

The best thing about this hotel is the front desk mngr, Lisa. She is a delightful treasure. You expect desk personnel to be helpful & pleasant but Lisa not only went above and beyond but welcomed us back every time we walked in the door.

I have stayed at this property plenty of times I was a little disappointed my room wasn’t ready I didn’t really get into my room until a little after 4 which is a problem since check in is at 3. The tv on the wall in the room was crooked so that was weird watching tv. They don’t have social hour anymore which was fun in the evening on the weekends a couple of free drinks and snacks and mengal with other guests. A lot has changed there I hope they can bring that back

The pool was almost always out of towels and the size was much smaller than I expected. The hot tub was very well sized and perfect temperature all weekend. The water in the hot tub almost always has some of weird brown stuff from the siding floating in it and you can tell the walls and such could use some updating. Our room was nice, loved the flooring, but the AC unit was leaking significantly and the TV barely worked. There was water damage on the bottom of the bathroom door from people hanging wet things, and there is an unpainted patch in the middle of the bathroom wall. The mini fridge and microwave worked, but the fan made a weird noise when running in the “living room” and the desk bulb didn’t work. We had hot water and good water pressure though, which is a huge plus.

Hot tub was awesome. Pool area too. Clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here a few times and felt safe and comfortable. The young lady at the front desk (Angel) has always been wonderful providing great service and suggestions. It’s a cool place for a date night and also perfect for family fun. Brought kids here a few times, it was fun.

Rooms are always clean. Breakfast always wonderful as well. Have stayed here around 10 times. Only issue I had this stay was the cleaning staff knocking on the door 3 different times ten mins before regular checkout and 11:30 which was the agreed later check out time. I was trying to get a daughter who had sternum surgery up and ready to leave and kept getting interrupted. I'm sure the cleaning team has a list of which rooms have later checkouts.

Room had couple ants but room was clean and shower was in poor condition no water pressure. Reported to front desk and they never came to check on it. They stated they will come in the morning and never came to repair it.

Overall, it was a pretty good 7-night stay. The weeknight snacks were a nice touch. One front desk employee was sometimes unfriendly, but everyone else was kind during each interaction. Although they didn't have the room ready at check-in. Also, there was a battered car in the same spot in the hotel parking lot that didn't move for the entire duration of our stay. It seems someone was living inside the vehicle, and its condition was unsettling. Also, the exits at both ends of the buildings had broken access points, so entry was only possible through the front doors, which wasn't very convenient. Breakfast did not have access to gluten-free options. Pool towels weren't frequently available. Beds were comfortable, and the hotel was mostly quiet for a good night's sleep.

The hot tub was hot and fantastic, and the pool was perfect for the kids. However, the room was not great. Old and dingy, hair on the bedding, bathroom clearly leaking water with attempts to paint over mold. The breakfast looked ok, but after staying in the room, just skipped it and hit the road. The front desk manager was very nice, but even she couldn’t save this aging, soon to be extinct hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hospitality was great by most of the staff. Reception every evening was a highlight! Breakfast was always hot and we'll supplied! Our room was spacious and very comfortable! Clean room and welcome area. Parking is plentiful and safe. We enjoyed the shuttle ride to the nearby mall. Driver is particularly friendly and helpful!

Perfect combination of quality, amenities and price. Nice pool/hot tub and a few specialty items at breakfast you don't find at most hotels.

The room was clean, but when check in time came around our room was not ready. There were a couple groups checking in where their rooms were not ready. We had to wait another 2 and a half hours to check in which we were able to go around town with stuff to do instead. Then when we did come back and check in the neighbors were extremely loud all night! This was all into the night even at midnight. Many people running up and down the halls and slamming doors and screaming and laughing in the halls and next door.

Clean and well maintained hotel.

Terribly dirty. Booked this room based on positive reviews, but I think those must be made by the hotel. Overall carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Put room was ok, but bathroom had hair on toilet and stains on wall/door. The water in bathroom ran clear but the kitchenette water was so murky I thought my kids were playing a prank. Staff seemed to not be concerned. We booked with a bottle of wine guaranteed and did not receive it. Cookies that were raved about were inedible. Breakfast as ok. Pool will accolade one family at a time. Really unsure what all the positive reviews are based on, if we received an off room the staff had zero inclination to fix it.

One of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a while. Staff was wonderful. A small hotel with big amenities! Great hot tub and pool area. Basic breakfast was just fine. Evening reception with snacks and drinks. Rooms had clearly been renovated. So many places to charge devices! Would absolutely stay again.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and extra bedding was available if needed. Breakfast was amazing. I cannot think of anything they didn't have, and it was hot and yummy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

When we arrived the room smelt like fresh paint like it had just been painted the day before. Our air conditioner leaked in the floor. They were prompt to clean it and fix it.

We stay here when we come from Milwaukee for cheer competitions in Schaumburg. The pool and hot tub are nice. The heat and air conditioning worked properly. The shower head had amazing water pressure! Breakfast was good. It starts at 7am on weekends which was unfortunate because we needed to leave at 7:15 to arrive on time for the comp. They have a lot of options for breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, biscuits, danishes, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and lots more! Oh, and the best part? When you arrive to check in you get a chocolate chip cookie. My kids even remembered that from last year and were excited to get a cookie again this year! A little extra touch that everyone loves. Overall it was a great stay and we'll stay again next year when we compete again in Schaumburg.

Staff was very friendly, but the place was not clean. The floor in the room was nasty. There were splatters on the wall by the toilet. Stains on the pillowcase.

The room.was fine. However the noise level above us was absolutely unbearable! The walls are thin so you literally hear everything. We called the front desk and asked that they call upstairs0and ask them to bring the noise level down. The hot tub had a dirt ring floating on top of the bubbles. Ive stayed at this hotel before but this will be the absolute last time.

I was really surprised the room was very clean. Had a room with a spa and king size bed, loved it. The breakfast was excellent. The waffles out of this world. They also have happy hour which was wonderful. They also have free cookies and coffee in the lobby. The staff was wonderful. We decided to stay an extra night and they were very accommodating. We would definitely go back.

The first night I barely got sleep because the people above us were so loud. I called in the morning and explained that if the same individuals would be in the room again that night I would like to switch rooms. They said they would call me back and never did. Once again that night there were kids jumping around. Not good when I had to be up at 4am. The room was clean but I was disappointed by the service.

One was the was a cheer competition in town so all we heard above us was stomping and banging around all night, kids running down the hallways. Also couldn’t enjoy the pool or hot tub because of the kids taking over the area. Kind of disappointed.

Waited 20 minutes to have someone come to the front desk when we arrived and then she was rude the whole time. Then we get to our room and the jacuzzi is dirty and has hair all over it from previous guest. And our thermostat didn’t work for our room and when we informed the front desk we were told to just use the fireplace. Spend this much money and being treated this poorly is unacceptable in my book.

We stayed in a King room with jacuzzi and fireplace and the room was very clean. The hotel's hot tub and pool were very nice and clean and my kids spent hours swimming and enjoying themselves. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection but was your typical hotel breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in the area.

The location was amazing and had so many things to do and so many restaurant options! The pool was a bit smaller than other hotels, but it was heated so that made up for it.

do not stay here if you want a hotel that cares. we were locked out of our room for 3 hours because our door didn't work and they didn't have the proper tools to fix it on site. we weren't able to use the hot tub and missed dinner reservations while being locked out. we asked for a late checkout the next day because of our inconvenience and wanting to use the hot tub and basically was met with a manager who did not care about our issues and told us "it happened it everybody" and refused to compensate us for anything. we were told if we stayed we would be charged for a rate higher then we originally paid. will not be back. do no recommend

The room was okay, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Problems were, i got the room as a mini get away for my wife and i. I chose your hotel because of the jacuzzi/ pool and fitness center. It took hours for me to get in the fitness center on Thursday and i couldn't use the fitness center at all on Friday! The room temp kept getting cold.

Previous visit hotel was overrun with a large group of pot heads. They were aseo the leve the next day but for a day the ruled the hotel.

This is just a personal preference but the floors are not carpeted. The room was also pretty cold even though we blasted the furnace at 77 degrees. I did appreciate the noon checkout since not many hotels do this anymore. It made me feel not rushed. The front desk clerk was very sweet.

The pool and hot tub were great. We had problems with the very firm mattress, very low toilet, thin walls and ceiling (noise from neighbors). However, it was very clean and the staff was friendly.

The first room was disgusting, smelled awful like urine or a litter box. Luckily there was another room available and we were moved to a better room, no smell. Hotel is okay, nothing great about it. Front desk staff were very nice. Would not stay here again, not impressed.

Nice rooms that worked well for our family.

We were staying at the hotel for a soccer tournament. My daughter was hospitalized for 3 days and we were unable to participate in the tournament hence not needing the room. I called two days before and a manager said they were unable to reimburse because it was scheduled with Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said it was the hotel policy. Several attempts and they were unable to issue a reimbursement. Hotels.com service was pretty good - they made contact within 23 hours, but the lack of empathy and understanding of the hotels part was disappointing- they had plenty of time to find someone else to take the room.

It was a nice staycation for a solo parent that just needed a night to herself.

Everything was good, except the mattress was a bit soft. It made for a restless night sleep.

Morning Front desk not the friendliest. Had a good check in the night before. Stayed the wekend for a wedding. Lots of families overtook the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

Hotel staff was great at every level, facility was clean and pool and public areas were well maintained, even when fully booked. The only issues were that a few of the amenities in the room were reaching the end of their lives and are ready for maintenance or replacement ie, the fridge was leaky, the microwave had to be unplugged and replugged in to work properly and the TV was very dim like it was burning out. All in all though, I would definitely recommend this location as I'm certain from the competency and friendliness of the staff leaves me no doubt that if we had asked for assistance they would likely have jumped through hoops to take care of them immediately.

Stayed one night for concert at Allstate. Check in was quick and easy…when we went to turn on TV’s neither one of them worked. I called front desk around 6:30pm and was told they’d be right up…waited until almost 7pm and decided to go downstairs and enjoy the hot tub…got back to room around 8pm and finally received call from front desk asking if we got TVs working…only one was able to get working by my boyfriend but the one in the bedroom wasn’t so she said she’d be right up…this time she did come and said she forgot about us…she came in with a remote and walked into bedroom for a minute and walked out into area where couch was and said ok it’s fixed…she did apologize but the fact she said she was coming up the first time and we waited was ridiculous….I am including screenshot of calls made

I always book 1 bedroom with separate living room and bedroom. Every hotel I went before had a door between separated areas. This one didn't have a door which made it look as a studio not one bedroom unit. When we get inside the room first impression we had ... everything was looking old and outdated. On top of this horrible smell. The room location, right in front of elevator with lots of traffic and noise. Not having the door in the bedroom would make us sleep ( or most likely not sleep) dealing with lots of the hallway noise. Due to non refundable rate we couldn't get money back for this junk hotel room. We had to make a new reservation in the different hotel.

Room was great! Employees were even greater! We were arriving about a hr earlier than check in. I called a few hrs in advance to see if we could come early. The lady was very nice and called me right back to let me know the room would be ready when we arrived.

Everything was fine except the cleanliness. They do not clean the rooms and change the sheets. When we asked them, they said every 3 days. This is not good practice. Our sheets were not changed, and our room was not cleaned during our 3-day stay.

Around 1:45 or so, I called the front desk wondering what was going on, and they filled me in on the details. Even then, they really didn't know much aside from that there was a major police/fire presence on the property. At no point was there any effort from the property or its representatives to do anything about this. Every front desk person I spoke to about this had no knowledge of what had happened. I'm not sure how that is even possible, as something like this should require an incident report to be written up by whomever was on staff. I don't blame the property for what happened, as it's obviously not their fault for what the guest did. But it's a bit alarming that none of the staff had any idea what was going on, let alone try to assuage any guests' issues. I'm not saying I should have my stay refunded, but the Saturday night portion should absolutely be refunded if nothing else. I wouldn't mind staying again, but I would certainly hope that the management takes steps to increase customer transparency and satisfaction.

I chose this property because i am familiar with the wyndham line of hotels and have typically good experiences with them. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was and will always be a benefit i look for when choosing a hotel. The only issue i have is that the pillows are flimsy. Thats it. Everything wlse was great.

They put us in a smoking room which I thought the whole hotel was non smoking and there was an ash tray in our room. So between the mold and smoke smell it was terrible. We have pictures of mold in our room also.

Also, the thermostat is preset. It must be set to turn off at night, which I found out in the middle of the night when I woke up in a sweat. When I checked the thermostat it was OFF. That was not fun.

This hotel is easy to get to and there are several dining options nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. For the most part the hotel is quiet. The walls seem thin. I could hear someone sneeze in their room and the hallway noise (talking, doors closing, etc.) is loud. Could be because there’s laminate (?) flooring instead of carpet (way cleaner). There’s a good selection of cable channels and they have a better than average breakfast (bacon, French toast, make-your-own waffles, two different kinds of scrambled eggs, white rice in a rice cooker, plus all the regular offerings). Would stay again.

This is our third time staying at this hotel and we like it very much for the price and the overall quality of this hotel. it's located in a very convenient part of Schamburg, shopping and restaurants are very close by. It's a safe and quiet environment. Staff is very friendly. The property itself is very clean. I wrote a negative review for this hotel the first time I stayed because there were a few things I wasn't very happy with. Managment reached out to me letting me vent my concerns. since then, I have been back multiple times and am more pleased with our stay. Looking forward to staying here again! Book the room with the jacuzzi! You won't regret it.

At the price point this was an average/good place to stay. The proximity to main (and busy) road made sleeping difficult. We found breakfast average at best and actually went to a nearby bakery the second day.

One of the most disturbing aspects was the noise level. There were several guests running and screaming in the hallway during the night, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy my time in the room. Additionally, I noticed that the bathtub in my room wasn’t clean upon arrival. It seemed like it hadn’t been properly attended to, which was disappointing and made me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Breakfast was very limited. I was surprised that this hotel has a high ratings in Expedia website.

From the check in to the happy hour free drinks and snacks everything was great. Only problem for me was the wooden floors in the room. But enjoyed the stay very much.

The property was clean and the front desk was welcoming. The cookues were delicious and a soecial treat. The breakfast was well stocked and the food was good. We were on a girls' shopping trip and we thought the hotel was in a good location. We gave the hotel a 4 because the hot tub was not working and the hallways were loud starting around 730am, but in fairness we were across from the cleaning room.

We stayed on our way out of town and as our flight back from Myrtle Beach was delayed hours, we ended up having to stay in a hotel on the way back… We enjoyed this property so much that we booked again for the way back. Definitely will stay again.

This property was very convenient to every activity we had planned for our Chicago Stay. We came mainly to visit Legoland and Medieval Times which both ended up being minutes away from the hotel. I wanted to highlight the good first. The staff was wonderful. They were very welcoming and helpful. The beautiful night young lady at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. The cookies at the front desk were a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast area was constantly cleaned and maintained. Im not a big breakfast person but my family thought that it was very good. The waffles were really good and lots of bread choices were available. The parking lot was well lit and i always felt safe.The area that i had an issue with was the cleanliness of the room. The floors were filthy as when i took off my shoes, my socks were horrendous. I am a clean freak so i always take Clorox wipes and wipe down everything. The bathroom wall had i dont know what on the wall next to the toilet paper that i cleaned off. The toilet paper roll was almost empty so not sure why that was left on there. There was hair from the previous guest in the tub. The bedroom had stains on the dresser that i was able to wipe off with my wipes. I went down to the front desk to ask for an extra blanket but was told there were none. The young lady at the front desk was very apologetic and she sincerely was upset that she couldn't honor my request. She did leave a note for housekeeping.

Upon arriving at the hotel, there was a paper on the desk that stated the hot tub was not working when ask about the VIP product I was told the truck didn’t come so they don’t have it went to happy hour the chips pretzels were all stale the salsa you can tell has been put in and out of the refrigerator. There was residue around the rim of the bowl wrong was nice. It is time for some updates at this hotel. Not sure if we will stay here again.
