Clean room, comfortable and nice staff

Booked to travel with family because crib was listed, but on arrival was told they did not have cribs.

Air conditioning was not working in room after 1st night, and it became a long process to get placed in another room, having to pack up everything and set up again as part of our 12 day road trip. Bathroom was not well maintained as well. This was the first Marriott property we've stayed in that we felt the value simply was not worth what we paid.

I had a very challenging trip with a car break down so I was unable to stay my first night. I called the hotel to let them know, in the middle of the car chaos, and the staff was so nice. When I arrived the next evening, I was greeted courteously and ,y room was clean and quiet.

We didn't have breakfast.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and the business centre was excellent. The room had a really nice view of the river. It was convenient that there were some wonderful dining options within walking distance. We also had a late, light supper from the bistro in the lobby, which was quite good. Nice that it was open late. I was concerned when I realized the hotel was located essentially at a casino complex but it is located far enough away that it wasn’t an issue. We didn’t use the pool or fitness room but they both looked very clean and well-kept. It was an unpleasant surprise to learn there was no complimentary breakfast. You had to purchase coffee and food from the Starbucks bistro in the lobby. While the bistro was a nice late supper option, it wasn’t nearly as convenient or efficient for breakfast, and it wasn’t open at all in the middle of the day, not even on the weekend. The room was adequate but not what I had booked online, and the wallpaper and fixtures were a little beaten up. The beds were much too soft for us but I’m sure they would be comfortable for most people.

I was taken a back because I stay at Courtyard hotels and have never experienced this. I did ask for a first floor - I am sure others were more decent. This is Rm 113. I hope they get it looking and feeling like their high standards.

Room had odor and the mattress and pillows were really hard. Did not sleep well. Also, the price was double anyone else's price I could have booked the same room and kept my one key credits for 199.00 I ended up paying besides my 230.00 one key 175.00. Not happy at all about that

Room was noisy.Heater was noisy.you can hear all the flushing of rooms upstairs.

If this happens again I will never stay at a Marriott hotel again. I recommend that you fix this.

Jason and his staff at the Courtyard Marriott on Harborside Dr were exceptional! They accommodated us with our last second changes. Easy drive to Saratoga Springs. We highly recommend this hotel and thanks to Expedia for the assistance.

Be aware that there is an active railroad line/crossing right next to the hotel and you'll hear train horns multiple times a night that will wake you out of a sound sleep. Other than that, the hotel is conveniently located near the casino and parking is easy

The staff at this property are excellent! From check-in to check out, they were friendly willing to offer information and just all-around pleasant! This is our fourth New Year’s staying at this property and every time we do it’s a pleasure. The rooms are clean, well appointed and large enough to move around. The windows actually open a little for fresh air, which is very important to me we will be back again next year!

Bathroom door didn't close. Room number was written on door frame in marker. Not exactly a top notch experience.

The person did not check in until the day after his scheduled arrival date, the hotel cancelled his reservation without notifying me. I then had to pay for another room and scramble to find him another room for the next night as well. not happy

The bath mat had stains on it before using. The tub while showering would not drain so the water was over your feet while bathing. The remote for the tv didn’t work. Overall this was not what I expect from a marriott especially b because of all the money that we spent to stay thh he weekend . Very expensive.

Sheet did not fit on the bed. We could hear the tv in the next room. Room was cold all night. When I booked the room, it said that breakfast was included. Becky at the front desk said that it was not and expected me, the guest, to reach out to Expedia. I recently stayed at the Marriott in White Plains which had a fabulous buffet breakfast included. That was not the case in Schenectady. When you pay $300 for one night, that is ridiculous. Very disappointed.

Shout out to Henry snd Becca. These two did everything to make our stay pleasant.

The gym was terrible, airconditioning very loud and blasted on bed, and staff was tough to respond to problem with business center printer.

Good location and close to casino. Room is basic , small T.V , a/c loud, bathroom with low bathtub/ shower. There was no drinking cup, just paper cups for coffee. No breakfast/dining except Starbucks. Very disappointed for the price, we will not stay at that hotel in the future..

Staff was friendly however my room and hair under the clean towels in bathroom . The shelf in shower was falling off the wall and one of the packets for the coffee with the napkins was empty used and never replaced . Not to mention the train blaring at night and the dog in the room across from me

This property was close to a lot of nice restaurants and easy drive to the hospital where I was doing my nursing clinicals. It was quiet and I felt safe. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Room was not very clean sheets had stains

The front desk guy was not very nice at all. My son went to the front and had ID, said he could not remember the room number, gave my name and they would not give him the room number. The beds were not comfortable at all. Too bad because we had stayed there before and enjoyed ourselves.

Hotel is very sterile and basic. Beds are comfortable but don’t really have a bed, just fraying cushions for a headboard and box spring wrapped in fabric for base. The room lighting is poor, lights over bed blast a spotlight down on your head while the rest of the room has no lighting. In house restaurant was closed due to “an emergency”-? All in all, it comfortable and clean but basic. There were three restaurants we could walk to although not so family friendly as they are all wine/beer /bar focused.

It did not have any storage for towels. Floor in bathroom was dirty. Mold in shower floor. Just not cleaned well.

The hotel was clean, beautiful and had great amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and extremely clean. I was just disappointed I couldn’t manually turn the AC on as it only seemed to work on energy saver mode (short bursts of AC). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the check in-out process was a breeze. I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Room was clean. Used to staying at hotels with complimentary breakfast. Breakfast prices were very high. Bed was ok but pillows very uncomfortable. When air conditioner turned on it sounded like someone was revving a motorcycle in the room.

It was great, we went for a break from home and swam and used the gym and went to the nearby casino. Cool you could use your own Netf. Staff was awesome.

They took money for a night that was cancelled even though I had insurance. And would not tell me or speak with me one way or another after I tried about 10 times. Very bad service from the managers.

This is an excellent more cost effective option to the Landing Hotel attached to the Casino, and they didn't miss on the shower design in not having a lip to stop the water like the Landing did. If, however, you want to go back and forth to your room in between gaming or dinner and gaming, it is less convenient. Also, housekeeping didn't do great job. There are no liner bags in the garbage cans and they missed a soda bottle under the sofa.

However, the I was not overly impressed with the hotel overall. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were in our room too late to have it serviced, so I called the desk to request towels and coffee/supplies. The young man who brought things up only brought coffee - no creamer/sugar packets or cups. I asked him to get us some - he had a less than happy look on his face. One other thing - the inside lock on our door did not work. We did not have time to report it or have it fixed, so bad on us, but this should have been something that was fixed before someone else was in the room.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Great having microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with dispensers was super. Really recommend purchasing the breakfast for two, breakfast was amazing and delicious.

Caters to business travelers— was a super spot for my family to spend the night on a road trip from Chicago to Boston.

Wait staff at morning cafe are over worked. When you are providing make to order breakfast, you need more than two people working when your hotel has more than 100 guests. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced but having to wait 25 minutes before you could get to the counter to place your order and then another 20-25 minutes to get your food is not business friendly. Don’t get me wrong-staff were excellent. Just not enough of them.

The hotel is located along the Mohawk River. The entire area is about 6 years old and the harbor area is beautiful. We were there over the Columbus Day weekend. Although it is well lit at night, there were few people walking in the street. The casino is far enough away to recommend a car unless you want a good stroll. Druthers was the only nearby restaurant. The food is good and is moderately expensive like many restaurants. You might want to request to sleep on the side away from the railroad. Only one train came and it was at 10 PM. Staff were friendly. Plastic cups and skin lotion for the room were not available because of supply shortages. The room had a nice modern feel. There was a sit down space in the shower.
