Quality Inn & Suites Seabrook - NASA - Kemah

The Quality Inn at Seabrook should be rated a 1 star hotel. The pictures upon booking were a complete misrepresentation of the actual property. There were many abandoned cars in the parking lot, and the hotel smelled damp once you entered. They had air purifiers stationed throughout the hallways to help with the damp and funky smell. The trash cans were overflowing with full trash on the ground and the flora and rugs looked as though they had not been cleaned in ages. When we entered the room it appeared that the only thing in the room that had been cleaned were the beds. The ceiling, headboards, nightstands and walls were filled with grease stains, finger prints dust and who knows what else. The bathroom was not clean by any measure with dirt around the base of the toilet, white splatters on the back of the door and a ripped shower curtain. I was appalled! I had to clean everything for my family to be safe and comfortable as we were exhausted from an 18 hour drive and simply needed to rest. $200 for trash is absolutely ludicrous! I would like a full refund and to speak with corporate regarding the state of the property.

This is not a 3 star hotel in my opinion. I stayed in a 2.5 star hotel near here that was a lot better than this hotel. The staff was great but the amenities and decor were not as good as I had expected them to be for the price.

The owner and staff are so friendly and supportive of local business establishments. In addition the breakfast was very good, not powdered eggs but real eggs, gym equipment was all working well and pool was great for my family! I will stay here again.

David truly makes this property so accommodating and creates a family atmosphere. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone projects the same vibe! Breakfast is always absolutely delish and gives me something to look forward to in the am. The tropical outdoor pool is always clean and refreshing. I recently had a successful major surgery to give me the ability to walk again. I consider this property home! 🙏🌟🏡

The breakfast was amazing! The owner is super sweet, checked us in early. Just a couple minutes from Kemah Boardwalk too. The kids loved the pool too.

Very dirty

The lady at the front was really nice. The rooms were good. It’s just the hallways going into the rooms that smelled a bit. Hence the reason there are air purifiers all along that hallway. But overall decent stay.

Just an older hotel in various states of disrepair. For this place to have such a high rating, I'd be willing to bet that some fictional reviews were left. The guy at the front desk was nice. The room wasn't "spotless" but was clean enough. Breakfast was acceptable, but not exceptional.

The staff was amazing, very friendly, a quick check in with great recommendations for dining in the area. Overall the price was very affordable - not sure if we would be back or try something else.

This hotel had a ‘wonderful’ rating so I trusted that. It is extremely dated and had a dirty feeling. There were small holes in the bedding and the comforter just seemed dirty. The bathroom was clean, I will say that, but thankfully I always take my own towel and washcloth.

I really appreciated his care in making the stay painless. this was the tail end of a two week roadtrip and was a great stay for near NASA in houston, TX. The closeness to the boardwalk was great. Went to a British Pub for dinner that was AMAZING. Better than places we ate at in London.

was not clean the bed was so hard we had planned a 2-night stay but left after only 1 night because my back was killing me would not have been able to sleep in that bed a second night.

The hotel had everything we needed and was nice and close to NASA (easy drive). But the staff here was what made it - they were super friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, giving great suggestions on where to eat and some handy local discounts. Breakfast was good and not too crowded - staff made a point of coming in, checking guests had everything they needed and entertaining the kids with small games. Would absolutely come back!

This hotel is very close to Kemah, so it was very convenient for dining and entertainment options. The hotel is older, and some of the decor reflects that. However, the outstanding part of the this hotel is the service. The friendliness of the check-in staff, upgrading us because their king rooms were sold out, the discounts they offered for entertainment and dining in Kemah, and the friendliness of the breakfast staff and cleaning staff were top notch. The room we stayed in was clean, roomy, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again for the value, service, and location.

Room I was in smelled a lil weird but it was clean. I like my room to be cold when I sleep. Temperature was about 73. If you don’t like the cold you should be ok. It was tolerable for the one night. I slept through breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

I did not eat the breakfast as i didn't go down in time but it smelled amazing. We stayed 1 night. The hotel seemed clean. The elevator was a touch slow. The staff was friendly and veey helpful. We will be going here to stay again on our next trip

Friendly helpful front desk man during check in. Gave get suggestions for dinner and activities. He also informed us of the amenities they offer. The saltwater pool was well maintained and a nice addition. They also have breakfast which we tried to sleep through but the housekeeping staff tried to clean at 9 thus disrupting our slumber. Oh well can’t be mad with the need to clean. Just make sure your guests check out first. Otherwise a great stay for the price.

Every thing was really close for shopping, eating walking distance. The staff was nice and very friendly. Our room was up to par. The air conditioning could have been a lil colder but I’m hot natured at night but I will book again.

Don't let the 1,000+ reviews fool you—this place is old. The rooms are dark and gloomy, and all the electrical stuff is rusty and outdated. No vent fan in the bathroom, and the AC sounds like a freaking tractor. The staff was super nice, but the property’s a mess. No way I’m coming back

Luv the hotel. Rooms are spacious. Clean. Staff is always great. Started some upgrades which is nice. Hotel is little older and elevator shows it but they seem clean furniture and rugs clean. Pool area is always best for us to hang out and enjoy with Grandbaby.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The hot breakfast was a plus! The parking felt private and was safe! The pool was enjoyable and offered shaded tables/towels. There were many restaurants and stores nearby. The location was close to so many attractions such as NASA, the Kemah Boardwalk, etc. After our first night, I was surprised to come back to a clean room - floor was vacuumed, clean towels, and beds were made! They had a gym but I did not take advantage of it. The price was on point! I'd recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Quality Inn! Can't wait to come back!

From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the service was truly exceptional. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the pool area was clean and relaxing. This is hands down the best place to stay if you’re planning to visit the Space Center or take a trip to the Kemah Boardwalk—convenient, comfortable, and welcoming!

Stayed in a room with an adjoining door. At 2am, someone in the next room started trying to open the adjoining door and slamming the room door; unable to get any sleep!! The worse night I have ever spent for $124/night!!

Every amenity you could possibly ask for, refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, coffee, pot with coffee, a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion, the beds were really comfortable, clean linens, clean towels that were changed out every day with the provided room service. Has a workout room, wonderful free breakfast options. The only thing it’s just an older hotel. Nothing fancy about it. It was worth every penny, the front desk was super awesome and we would most definitely stay there again for sure.

This hotel was great and what made it great was the staff, breakfast, and the proximity to NASA, which was the purpose of our visit. First, the staff was great and super informative and very friendly. We have probably never stayed anywhere where the staff were as friendly and informative. Breakfast was also great, having eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles (2 flavors), fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. I feel like there may have been additional options, but I don't recall them at the moment. Finally, NASA was a 5 - 10 minute drive from the hotel. When there, remember to check out Space Cow Ice Cream, where you get a 10% off discount for staying at this Quality Inn. I should note that there were other restaurants and such where staying at this Quality Inn would get you a discount, but we didn't get a chance to check out many of them given our short stay and other plans.

Staff was very friendly every time we passed someone on staff they welcomed us and thanked us for staying with them and asked how we were doing. Rooms weren’t anything special but they were clean the ac worked great. We will definitely stay here again and would reccomend it. My boys love playing in the pool and a lot of dining options within a few miles. We have stayed here multiple times before and always pleased.

My AC at my apartment went out and was able to check in early!! It really helped so that I could drop my stuff off in the room and not worry about my stuff melting or overheating!

Every service was beyond my expectations. All staffs are very friendly and nice, and perfectly knowledgeable about that area. Room was exceptionally clean and very quiet. Breakfast was provided free of charge and home-made hot meals. The swimming pool looks very nice and remodeled recently. I will visit again absolutely.

We came down from Oklahoma to go to Galveston for the first time and upon arrival we were greeted promptly and one of the employees even told us about places to go and where the good beaches were. Everyone was extremely kind and the host for the breakfast in the morning was full of good energy, greeting everyone who walked in and honestly for a Mom and Pop owned Hotel, For the price I can’t complain and would book there again.

I highly recommend this hotel for a stay, it's not the newest or snazziest but it's clean, well run, and friendly. And, the bed is comfortable.
