Reviews
The hotel is in a prime location with friendly staff, but it is outdated and in need of renovation. Guests frequently mention issues with the rooms, such as peeling wallpaper, dirty windows, and small, poorly functioning showers.
- Great location
- Friendly staff
- Outdated rooms
- Poor room maintenance and cleanliness
- 5/5
Great hotel. Love staying there and monorailing downtown
- 5/5
Arrived early the day before our cruise. They accommodated us in our rooms early. Great location! Check out was super easy too.
- 2/5
A pretty worn out property but only thing affordable in the area.

The location

We stayed here the day before our cruise. Arrived early and they allowed us to check in early which was a great plus for us. Christine at the front desk was amazing, she even booked a shuttle to the pier for us. The room/restroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. While it is outdated as far as colors of walls and carpet the comfort and cleanliness makes up for it. I would definitely stay there again.

For a Wyndham facility, it was in very poor condition. Bad odor upon entering. Torn curtains on window, torn shower curtain, disposable tooth pick between mattresses. I ask about breakfast area and was told there was no longer breakfast. I stated the website shows breakfast included. Staff stated “the manager is aware of it and hasn’t changed it”. She was very unfriendly. She didn’t even greet us. She walked up to the counter and we waited for her to say hello or something. We finally said hello to her. No instructions were given about what to do with door cards when we checked out online. We would never stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone. It needs a major makeover.
- 4/5
Walking distance to some great places which was nice. The outdoor pool and hot tub was lovely!! Weather was not great while we were there and we STILL enjoyed the outdoor pool. The staff were all extremely nice!! Rooms were spacious and affordable which is exactly what what we were looking for! Got a kick out of the artwork in the hallways. Take a minute to appreciate the art, it's worth it! LOL
- 3.5/5
Location and staff. Very dated. Wall paper peeling and discoloured. The carpets ancient. A bit of an old smell.
- 3/5
The good thing about the Travel lodge is the location. It was walking distance to the needle, two museums, the aquarium and the Market.
- 3/5
The beds were comfortable, the coffee was good, and almost all the staff were very friendly. There was no breakfast provided, and when I asked about it, I was told they stopped serving it last October and management refuses to update the listing. Several other families came to ask where breakfast was being served while we were there. This is false advertising. The sole reason we chose this hotel over others in the price range was because of the included breakfast. I'll be contacting Wyndham directly upon our return home. Also, one of the staff members on duty the night we stayed was clearly bothered by our presence when we asked for a roll-away bed. I interrupted her cell phone scrolling and she made that obvious. Every other staff member we encountered was fabulous. Overall, the stay was fine for the price, but the lack of the advertised breakfast and the unprofessional staff member I encountered left a sour taste in my mouth.
- 1/5
The services are not up to the mark
- 3/5
Location, comfortable and clean bed. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The shower had hot water only, pressure was low. The sink was damaged. The breakfast was included when booked but no breakfast was served and no refunds!
- 2/5
I like nice room and nice shower. Good bed makes sleep well. I don't like the deposit including the room rsvp corrupted my budget and deposit holds too longer than I expected. I disagreed it by the boss couldn't handle the deposit holds. They can take it away.
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 3/5
Close to space needle and other attractions as well as public transport The staff were not very friendly or helpful at all. They did let us leave our bags there early, as we arrived early after getting off a cruise ship. However no help was offered to take the bags up the ramp to the storage room or down again on checking in. They were put outside the door and the staff member walked away. The staff members we encountered were all Non friendly - did the job- and that was it kind of. We spoke to 2 asking directions and the first one said I don’t know I don’t live here! I asked another staff and was told there’s brochures over there. I walked down a corridor and saw a laundry lady and she was more help than reception staff.

How close to Seattle center and the veiw for sure.Friendly staff aswell A little concerned for safety .
- 5/5
Property was very dated and everything was brown, but no complaints at all. Would happily stay again !!!!👍

Poor
- 0.5/5
The location is the only thing good I can say about this hotel. The hotel is extremely dated, it smelled bad, there is no breakfast as stated in the handbook, on the internet and on your website. There was no room in the shower to even bend down and the hot water took a long time to get hot, if it ever got hot. Toilets were very small for adults and it needs so much work to be updated. Is this hotel even within code?
- 2/5
Not happy about our experience. It was old, outdated, dirty grout, mismatched paint on the walls, broken hot tub, and elevators that barely worked. Not worth any price. Don’t believe the pictures. It’s much worse than those make it out to be.
- 3/5
Hotel is run down. Elevators acting up. Floors feel damaged underneath the carpet. Rooms are very small. The staff was awesome and very helpful.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was very helpful with directions to dinner. Parking was good. Needs updates! Chairs were peeling and shower was extremely small!

- 3/5
Most of the front desk staff was stern and unfriendly.
- 3/5
Close to the needle. Broken Elevator, thin walls where neighbors yelled at each other late into the night
- 4/5
This hotel is old but it's a place to sleep and take a shower. Only issue we had was reserved 2 guests for 2 beds. Gave us room with one bed, went back to desk and gave us a different room with one bed. Third time finally got the two beds. But the reservation from hotels.com was correct but on the hotel system it changed to one bed.
- 1/5
Price was 417, but then got charged 517. Was told it was a deposit. But then I never got my deposit back.
- 3/5
Not much, beds were comfy though. Very outdated, suspicious stains on the boxsprings and curtains
- 0.5/5
The location, close to the freeway. The staff
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 3/5
The room was clean and well maintained, for what we paid it was adequate. But the location was wonderful for a pre-cruise stay in Seattle. It seemed as though that’s primarily what the property is booked for, as everyone we met was staying there the night before a cruise.
- 3.5/5
Good value. With that being...
- 5/5
Hot tub was actually open unlike the other places we stayed on this trip. Parking was easy and good for the full day of checkout. Close to the sights.
- 4/5
Very close to the Space Needle. Older place that has been nicely updated.
- 4/5
The rooms with old and outdated they need to bring the hotel up to modern times
- 3/5
Phone in the room didn’t work, tv was unwatchable due to picture interference, light bulb exploded when i turned on the desk lamp, there was a dumpster right outside my window and someone was rifling through it for over an hour. At least the hot tub worked.
- 4/5
Older property but location by Space Needle was great
- 4/5
Places is great for the price
- 3/5
There was no central emergency exit stairs. I had to go to the end of the hall for the stairs, about 100 feet. Not sure how they get past national fire codes? They advertised that there is breakfast served but NO breakfast, none, zero , not even a packaged muffin or cookie. I had to go several blocks to a restaurant for breakfast. I paid well over $100 per night, and Monday night they were listed at $88. So much for going through Expedia. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I guess it was cheapest in the neighborhood so expect what you pay for.
- 5/5
Closeness to space needle
- 5/5
Ok property, old and outdated, good location, relatively safe area.
- 3/5
This property is just ok, the location is great but it is an older hotel and it shows. If you just need a sleep over before a cruise, it's ok, but that's about it
- 3/5
This is more motel quality in my personal opinion. Mini fridge didn't work, no continental breakfast, was placed next to elevators so heard them everytime they were used, microwave was in rough shape from other guests. Good location though.
- 3/5
Excellent position near the space needle, rooms clean but worn. Nice downstairs reception area with coffee and tea on tap.
- 5/5
Buena ubicación, personal atento y respetuoso. Precio acorde al lugar.
- 2/5
there were ants in the rooms. One of my flip flops were found in an entryway near the elevator as it had been in my room the whole time. Staff was nice and accommodating
- 4/5
Older Property ,very nice for price we paid, but price doubled for someone we traveled with who made a later reservation
- 5/5
I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is excellent for accessing the Space Needle, stores, and restaurants. The staff were friendly and approachable. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The only issue was with the elevators. Thank you, Team, for making me feel inclined to stay here independently.
- 3/5
Weekend employees not professional or above ve and beyond
- 4/5
This was a perfect walk and view of the space needle
- 4/5
It’s not the newest but great value for your money. Good location and staff were very helpful. Definitely would consider staying here again.
- 1/5
This hotel is old and in need of a complete overhaul. Staff is not very friendly. We stayed one night, i would not return to this hotel.
- 4/5
The elevator was really bad
- 3/5
Staff is good and helpful.
- 2/5
One of the two elevators worked for a total of 3 hours over the 3 nights that we stayed there. During that time the second elevator also was out of service for a few hours as well. That wasn’t very good for my 85 year old friend traveling with me to have to go up two flights of stairs after walking around town all day. Property is quite old but has tried to not let it fall apart.
- 3/5
When we were walking to our room, we seen a rat run into the corner by the pool
- 5/5
Yes the place could use an upgrade, but its Seattle, plenty to do so it shouldn't matter! Beds are comfy, room was clean, housekeeping came every day. Parking fees seem to vary, but they just take it out of deposit so no double hit to the wallet. Great stay, easy to walk everywhere.
- 5/5
This is an older hotel but for the price and location, it is great. Worn a bit but rooms were clean and large. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were small but worked fine for 4 adults. Located near dining, car rental and Space Needle. We felt safe walking around the area. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We have stayed before and will stay again!
- 3/5
Average kinda poor
- 4/5
No hot tub ....but shower was Extremely small... bed was comfortable. Some staff was much better than others. We was able to check-in early after getting off our cruise ship. That was wonderful.
- 4/5
I didn’t use it pool, room very clean
- 4/5
Vending machine didn’t work and one of the elevators was down. Mattress needed replacing. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Hotel is very dated. No hand soap in bathroom. Staff pleasant and accommodating.
- 3/5
Great location and spacious room
- 3/5
After a long day of travel, the last thing we needed to hear at check in was to come back to the front desk after 23:00 for a parking pass because the person that checked us in didn’t know how to print one. When we returned at 23:00 the person working at that time simply pulled a preprinted slip from a folder and wrote the date on it. When checking out the next day the third person we had contact with wasn’t pleasant and without asking for our room number, took our key cards and went back to what they were doing with out a thank you or any type of acknowledgment.
- 5/5
Good parking
- 3/5
At 2am tree trimming. The place looked old needs upgrading. No water bottle provided. The cleaning was excellent. They charge for parking.
- 2/5
Would never stay here again and had to check that the rest of my trip doesnt involve Travelodge bookings. Found chewed chewing gum in the shower! Photos are about 20 years old.
- 3/5
unclean
- 3/5
The pictures of hotel and rooms are a complete shame. The hotel is old, run down and smells. Room is so old and beds are so uncomfortable.
- 5/5
The hotel is basic with a great location!
- 4/5
Great location and great price. Lovely staff!

Beneath Wyndham’s standards taking an outdated old ran down motel and trying to upgrade into something worthy of $200-$250 nite stays. Although close to Seattle’s Needle attraction guests are given outdated dining information in the room guides, Stand up shower stall with elbow room only, dingy carpets. No breakfast, coffee station with cold coffee on 2 occasions, no tv remote in room and having to go down to front desk to retrieve one after being told one would be brought up. I called this facility twice before arrival and the phone was answered with “hello” no mention of the motel so i was unsure if i had dialed the proper number. Staff was lazy at best and I will never stay again. Loud environment outside and having upstairs neighbors thumping around moving furniture and stomping back and forth all night sealed the deal. We will not return.
- 5/5
Stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle By The Space Needle. Very close to Seattle Center Armory, Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and Museum of Pop Culture, about a 10-minute walk. The hotel isn’t newly remodeled, but it’s clean, the bed is comfortable, and the sheets and towels are clean. It has the basics like a desk, microwave, and mini fridge. There’s coffee and tea all day in the lobby, free luggage storage at the front desk, and they sell cold drinks and quick food to go. There’s also a small couch area to sit. Don’t expect luxury, it’s not 5-star, but it’s clean, close to the main spots, and we had no issues during our stay. The location looks safe, clean, and within the buildings and condominium area. I saw that they have enough space for free parking in front of the hotel. Wasn’t able to use the jacuzzi and pool during spring break visit as it was still covered. McDonald’s, American diners, Thai food, Walgreens, and Vietnamese food are all within a 10-minute walk.
- 4/5
Was a great room not much sound proof glad my daughter and i had head phones 😆
- 4/5
Just the average hotel, rooms are a bit dated but it did the job
- 5/5
Very good location, within walking distance to everything. I was able to do early check-in which was a huge plus... Great front staff...
- 4/5
Was a good start
- 4/5
This hotel offers a clean room, to rest your head, without breaking the budget. It is very close to many attractions and it is easy to travel around without needing a car. The monorail is around the corner and it also takes you to the light rail. It isn't in the nicest section of town, but it was really close to everything. The doors had to be slammed as they are hard to open, so you will hear other guests slamming. The rooms are a little outdated but everything works. I would recommend this place as a budget friendly option in a beautiful city.
- 1/5
Room still had food on bed from previous guest. Microwave worked on/off, shower went from very little cold to very hot, no in between. Front desk, assist manager was no help, rude & unprofessional. Manager was sitting in his office right behind check in desk and didnt offer any assistance either. You have to pay for parking to stay at THIER hotel!!
- 4/5
Parking was easy. $25 a night. Room was clean.
- 3/5
Room was clean, only thing was the restroom door didn’t shut properly unless it was locked. Parking was okay.
- 3/5
The beds were clean and functional however the rest of the room felt dilapidated. The refrigerator had been possessed by a small, curious bird, and would chirp every half hour or so. That said, the price was right and the location was within easy walking distance of the space needle so I'd say I got what I paid for.
- 4/5
The check in and check out staff were amazing and nice
- 2/5
The entire facility is outdated with many run-down amenities. Can’t actually see the space needle from most rooms. Rooms seem wore out and dirty. Parking costs $30. I would stay somewhere else if I came back. Staff was friendly though.
- 3/5
Internet très bien. Facile pour se garer. Situation centrale pour visiter Seattle. Café à volonté.
- 1/5
Won't book here again don't waste your time photos aren't legit.
- 4/5
In the shadow of the space needle. Room was reasonably clean. Room a bit dated and in need of a little Tlc paint touch up ,carpets cleaned as do many smaller busy hotels.
- 1/5
Hot tub pool not working
- 4/5

- 3/5
Pool closed Had to pay to park in Hotel parking lot very dissatisfied with that.. Every hotel staff was friendly and helpful
- 3/5
Hot tub and pool were closed. I wish there was a place to sit and smoke but that wouldn't keep me from staying there again. Parking was too expensive by a lot. When I first booked my trip, I wasn't going to rent a car, so I didn't check parking info, if I had I wouldn't have stayed at Travelodge. The parking lot is plenty big enough for guests to park without having to pay $25 a night plus tax.
- 5/5
The staff was very very kind and welcoming. The only thing that wasn't great was just the condition of the property but its nothing too terrible.
- 2/5
very average to below average

- 3/5
Walkability was great. Close to rail, pharmacy and food. Morning staff great, evening staff just youger people on their phones not helpful or informative. Price was great to just keep our stuff and sleep.
- 1/5
I will find a way to spend more $$ per night and stay at a different place next time we visit Seattle. 2 nights was over $400 and I have had better experiences camping and sleeping on the ground. Sugggestion for Travelodge, just don't bother on the Kurig in the room. There are bigger issues that could use that money better.
- 3/5
This is an excellent location for those visiting Seattle Centre, the Space Needle, Science Centre, MOPOP etc. You can park your car at the hotel and see all the sites or take the monorail.
- 5/5
Check-in rated among the fastest I've ever had. There's some interesting artwork in the hallways, and a nice little gift shop in the lobby with mugs and whatnot. The bed was comfortable enough and the complimentary coffee was delicious. The room had plenty of plugs, including USB-C outlets, which is pretty rare in my experience. I'd definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
We loved how close we were to the space needle. Parking was easy and included
- 2/5
Location is great. Parking is overpriced unfortunately. Additionally, this is just not a good Travelodge location in general. Stayed at others before and generally been satisfied for the price and rating. However, this location was quite rundown, our room smelled of cigarette smoke, the hot tub was out of order and the water temperature for the shower was lukewarm at best.
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice staff.
- 3/5
Room was alright. We could hear the people above us. Every step they made. So it's not as relaxing especially in the evenings.
- 3/5
Started getting itchy and got rash , room had a smell
- 5/5
The parking its to expensive
- 3/5
Girl at the front desk was a little rude. She was definitely not a customer service sort of woman . She seemed bothered when we asked a few questions. Made me not want to ask her anything else But all in all. We had a great time in Seattle
- 3/5
good location and good price but a little outdated.
- 5/5
Walking distance to food and space needle and other prominent locations made this a good hotel for the price. They do charge for parking.
- 3/5
It was okay. No towels and was located outsideundercover
- 2/5
As a person who travels on a tight budget l am aware of the risks of the low cost hotel. Travelodge usually is a safe bet. This hotel is VERY dirty, dust on hair dryer, candy wrapers under the beds, general grime and stinky... Sheets and towels were clean however. I was afaid of bed bugs because of other reviews but saw no sgins. The staff was really nice and took care of us and despite the filth I felt safe with my family. Location is great easy walking!
- 4/5
Great location for most activities in Seattle downtown and waterfront. Food within a couple of blocks grocery store, cafe, and coffee. Tv are a bit dated and internet was a bit slow but still livable. Does need to updated as to room designs and painting but will stay again as it best price around area .
- 3/5
No hot water for multiple days
- 1/5
The staff did not have the booking so we spent more than an hour on the phone with Expedia to get this fixed. The hotel did not have our room so we were put into a room that looked more like something from an insane asylum. Our nice clean big room with a big walk in shower with sliding glass doors turned into a tiny room with a shower that only holds one arm or one leg and ants crawling around. I don't believe the room we booked actually exists at this property. We booked for two nights and the hotel people booked us for one gave us the receipt we said no it's two so we got the receipt fixed it too and the next day as soon as we walked out of our room we were locked out and we had to go downstairs and get this fixed. I don't think anybody at this property knows what they are doing. I would like a full refund.
- 1/5
The check-in was easy good location. But we found BEDBUGS.
- 3/5
The rooms and overall building could be better. There were always ants in our room without food present. The wall paper is old and stained and peeling in some parts of the walls. This place is good if you will not be spending much time in your hotel. Keep your expectations low and you will not be disappointed.
- 1/5
Old and dated and unclean

Nice and quiet hotel, great for our quick stay in Seattle. Everything was clean and neat. We would definitely come back.
- 2/5
Cleanliness… we found fake eyelashes stuck to the headboard of the bed.
- 4/5
Everything was ok. Ridiculous that you have to pay to park at a hotel you are paying to stay at!.!.
- 5/5
The room was very good. Excellent location too near the space needle. The staff were very friendly. It was a nice place to stay a few days
- 5/5
safe, clean, and comfortable. we had a small issue with the toilet in our room and the staff was helpf
- 5/5
Clean room & kind staff
- 4/5
Room was clean and was a overall great stay,
- 4/5
The rooms are clean. There was a problem with no hot water the desk clerk during the day said she would take care of and nothing changed. When I checked later the night clerk said she couldn’t do anything about it. I asked if there was another room and she found one. She did not volunteer that information. The daytime desk clerk was rude another time during the day. When U mentioned that to the evening clerk she said she gets that a lot.
- 3/5
It is comfortable and affordable if you’re looking somewhere to stay and not break the bank. It is a bit outdated but not horrible
- 3/5
First room had ants all over tables and counters; they moved us. Second room, the bathroom light was not working and there was no hot water. Front Desk staff was very responsive and items were fixed immediately, and they did waive handicapped parking fee and first night's room. However, several things are extremely outdated and in need of upgrade--windows, paint, moulding, heating system, bathroom fans, etc. Again, great staff and good location.
- 3/5
Close to space needle
- 4/5
Good coffee. Room was fine. Great beds.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, nice staff and great location!
- 4/5
Nice enough rooms for the price, & very good customer service
- 3/5
Parking is 25 dollars a night which is ridiculous. The shower takes so long to just get warm and the toilet paper is literally almost sandpaper. They had good customer service and clean rooms though.
- 4/5
The hotel was very cheap and so close to Climate Pledge Arena. The value was fantastic! The building is a bit old so the sound isn’t great. Single pane windows so hear the road and even hearing other people in the hallway was evident. Overall good stay.
- 4/5
Super convenient location for everything I came to Seattle for. Kind courteous staff.
- 5/5
The room was quite clean. My queen bed was comfortable. I found the staff to be kind and very accommodating. The lobby is welcoming and attractive, with complimentary coffee. I liked that light eats, snacks and drinks were readily available for purchase. The housekeeping staff were helpful and very professional. All in all, this hotel appears to be safe and well-managed.
- 1/5
No hot water in the showers, a lot of holes in walls and no screens or safety on windows. Very basic hotel but good location
- 4/5
We had a great stay here, went to the hockey game and it is only about a 5 minute walk from the stadium, and the Needle, and the museums, and a Monorail stop =) Our room was just the basics but very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, tasty coffee in the lobby, and quiet, which is very important to me. Many thanks!!
- 5/5
Very convenient for concert
- 4/5
good stay
- 1/5
Staff cool, no issues there.. Facility is garbage! Complete waste of money unless u don’t mind staying in a below subpar room.. Price was cool but if ur used to wonderful things DO NOT waste your money..
- 4/5
Great Location
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was helpful and kind. Would stay here again
- 4/5
Loved this hotel! Literally a 5min walk to the space needle, 2min walk to Walgreens, 8min drive to pike, and the surrounding area was nice. I loved how this hotel was close to everything.
- 3/5
When I got there the first room smelt like cigarettes as if someone had just went in there and smoked a whole pack. But front desk was nice and were able to switch us rooms! Other than that stay was great!
- 3/5
There were a couple of minor things I was unsure about. I noticed an additional $100 charge upon check-in, which I later understood was probably a refundable deposit. Like a deposit hold for damages or minor inconveniences should it happen. I should have asked for clarification at the time, so that part is on me. There was also some noise during the night, my next-door neighbor had a crying child late in the evening, and around 8 a.m. I was woken up by people talking and rattling the door handle outside my room. It felt like they were trying to get inside and it made me scared…. Aside from those small issues, it’s a nice hotel and a convenient option if you’re visiting the area for events near Climate Pledge Arena or the Space Needle.
- 3/5
Room was in good condition but lodging, staff, and amenities were average. It was not a bad experience, but it was not a good one either.
- 5/5
Staff absolutely amazing
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The water didn't get hot and the heater was loud.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Staff was friendly,
- 4/5
The room was clean
- 3/5
The room was extremely dated, gave a very dingy feel. Ok for the money, but I wouldn’t recommend.
- 2/5
really bad smell in hotel...didn't feel safe. The beds were comfy though.
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 4/5
The hotel was listed as accessible. The first room I was able to access everything but the shower stall was standing only with an 8 in step. The staff went above and beyond to find a room with the tub. However the layout is such that may wheelchair would not go in the bay. I didn't have the heart to tell the staff. Plus there are non ada ramps all throughout the building that are so steep I have to pull myself up with a railing. However the staff were saints
- 3/5
Water was not hot strange floors hard to walk
- 2/5
it was advertised with pool. but when i arrived pool was seasonal. no one said a hot tub was available.
- 4/5
Somehow even the front desk did not have hand soap for the sink. I'm not sure how a hotel doesn't have hand soap for the bathroom sink. But we managed.
- 5/5
No parking passes but the staff said it was koo
- 4/5
Very good at all!
- 4/5
Las 3 Bs B
- 5/5
very nice! affordable price walkable distance to the city, luggage storage microwave, refridgerator. Although my heater didn't work initially it was fixed in one day.
- 2/5
No Internet in the room. And when we tried to complain a few times they didn't offer a solution at all. The rooms are dirty and the blankets are dirty as well and dusty.
- 2/5
Old and aged building, mildly uncoordinated staff, and the ground floor had see-through curtains. Not bad for a quick stay though.
- 1/5
They asked me for a $200 deposit, I had to pay for parking and , there was no hot water for showering. Terrible service at this hotel.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Overall good
- 3/5
This property was in decent shape. Rooms are smaller than the pictures but I will say the rooms were clean and kept up daily. The room was affordable which was the main reason for the stay. Definitely could use some upgrades..
- 5/5
Clean rooms, very ideal place to stay if you’re wanting to walk around Seattle.!
- 3/5
renovation would be awesome
- 2/5
The staff was fine. The room was horrible. It rained while we were there, and it leaked around the window. There was so much paint around the window that the water stretched it until it burst, sending bits of whatever was under the paint, all over the floor. No hot water in the room. Overall the hotel is very dated and lacked maintenance.
- 5/5
Room was clean and smelled good. Lots of towels and amenities. Staff were friendly.
- 3/5
Online check in was good, didn't interact with the staff too much but they were nice and helpful. Hotel is in a good location for visiting the space needle but is getting a bit tired
- 1/5
Didnt have my room, gave to another person.
- 3/5
Room was kept clean and staff was good. Location is great for walking around the tourist areas of Seattle. Unfortunately rooms are not quite and loud noises throughout the night was common.

This hotel is very falsely represented online. It was sketchy and dingy. I would not have stayed here alone with my two girls if my fiancé would not have been with me. There are much better options for the same price. And the only reason we booked was for the pool and the hot tub and the free breakfast none of which they have.
- 4/5
Good clean rooms and bathrooms with working plumbing. Wall sound insulation is old. Need to accept ambient noise. Room heating is loud.
- 3/5
Property is showing its age. But the service was good and it was convienent to where we stayed.
- 5/5
Great staff n great price
- 4/5
Everything was fine
- 5/5
Location, location, location just a few blocks from the space needle and at a great price!
- 4/5
Rooms was clean staff was nice
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 4/5
Clean and safe and a great location for a reasonable price. No bells and whistles. The place is dated with old run down finishes. But for an affordable price it is clean and a convenient place to stay the night.
- 5/5
Room was a little smaller than expected, but the area was perfect and since we werent there besides to sleep and shower it was good enough.
- 5/5
Great location, staff, bed, amenities.
- 1/5
Over charged on price, still waiting for refund..incopetent management
- 3/5
Staff was courteous but room was not very clean. The bed was very comfortable. No electrical outlets were available. Just an old hotel. Close to the Space Needle
- 5/5
Great place, very close to many attractions. Clean and comfortable rooms. Will for sure stay on my next trip to Seattle.
- 3/5
I checked in pretty late at night. The staff at the reception were very rude and unwelcoming. Ended me giving the wrong key card and offered limited help to sort the mixup.
- 5/5
You have an excellent staff the 2 gentlemen who helped us were very professional and super nice! It’s nice to have employees who like their jobs and carry a smiling face!
- 5/5
Great staff. Great location. Great price.
- 5/5
Hot tub was open outside late too
- 5/5
all good
- 5/5
Perfect
- 2/5
Hotel needs renovated, could be an ideal spot but the rooms are in bsd shape. Caulk peeling stains on walls
- 5/5
Great value. Excellent location for Seattle Center events. Hotel is dated, but it's super clean and the staff was great. Views of Space Needle and MOPOP from fitness room are a treat.
- 3/5
It was nice. Friendly staff. Stayed overnight for a concert. Very convenient location. Room wasn’t clean, a tone of dust and hair from other people. Light was partially working. Bed comfortable. Free coffee in the lobby. Parking was cheaper than other places, but overall I think the stay is overpriced. I would come back if were to visit another concert.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, we had a great time!
- 2/5
Old and run down but at least it was clean
- 4/5
The location is excellent, within view of the Space Needle, and short walks to nice restaurants. The staff was courteous. Room was clean. Snacks available in lobby were sufficient. Daily newspaper was nice. But the shower water was only warm enough, not hot.
- 5/5
Great location & kind staff!
- 3/5
Outdated
- 2/5
Someone pulled the fire alarm at 8 am. A very rude awaking. Then we couldn't even find the stairwell to evacuate. I called the front desk to ask if we needed to and was told no, which is good because the stairs are not well marked. The alarms should not be so openly accessible and the stairs need better marked. Other than this happening, the stay was fine and the room was okay.
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
I asked for breakfast, because the night before I stayed in Travelodge of Wenatche and they gave us breakfast, but there they didn't gave it.
- 4/5
Happy with the staff and the beds. There was some mold in the bathroom/shower. Happy with the value I got
- 2/5
I feel I was sent back to 1990. Very dated. If all you are wanting to do is sleep, great! Beds aren’t too bad. Showers are very small and the only mirrors are in the bathroom. With a family of 5, it was very challenging (the girls in particular) to get ready. Yes, they are very close to the space needle, but for the price and the quality, not great.
- 2/5
Coffee maker didn't work, USB ports non functioning. Bed was comfortable and the best thing about the room.
- 4/5
It is in a great area of town and was a great place to crash after a long day of exploring the city!
- 5/5
It was very quiet.
- 3/5
Ok hotel for the price, needs updating
- 5/5
Staff very friendly.
- 2/5
My family and I were shocked to see how old and rundown it was. Crack in our window, no screens, bathroom was old and dingy, missing hardware in the shower, walls stained and dirty-looking. Water temperature and water pressure in shower constantly fluctuated from hot to cold, a decent stream to very low stream of water. We all just couldn't wait to get out of there and be in a newer decent environment to be honest. I'm just really disappointed. I thought I had more photos but not seeing them now. Anyway, I believe it was Room 207. Thank you for listening. Sincerely, Helen Wenzel
- 2/5
The room was not clean. Shower and bathroom was dirty I found a lot of hair on the floor
- 3/5
Staff was nice, breakfast was a grab and go. Not worth having. Not up dated facilities. Could use some tlc
- 4/5
Luke warm shower water.
- 5/5
Staff is wonderful, responsive, and helpful. Best location for events at Climate Pledge and having parking is a huge perk.
- 5/5
Breakfast used to be so much better and for the price it should be better.
- 1/5
My kids got bit by bed bugs, it is a disgusting hotel!
- 5/5
@#$&*"!?
- 1/5
Desk clerk overnight absolutely ruined this trip for us. Refused to give one member of our party who was arriving on a delayed flight a room key that was left for her on reception by another guest. Said she wasn't registered on the room, but the previous clerk had allowed a key to be left. Either a complete failure to communicate by staff or he was just being unbearably difficult. Left her in tears in the hotel lobby at 1.30am refusing to give her the key that was left under her name. Refused to talk to the travel agent on the phone, despite having booking reference, card numbers etc. Just a truly awful experience. Thankfully another member of the touring party woke up and let her in, but she was so upset it completely ruined the trip and she couldn't sleep. Terrible service.
- 2/5
The staff checking in were grumpy and seemed not to want to be there. The hotel overall felt like I took a time trip back to 1990 when it may have last been renovated. Rooms were falling apart and outdated, walls were thin and I got to hear everything the neighbors said, luckily they had a safe for valuables so I could leave angst free for a few minutes.
- 5/5
We acturally did not stay--had to cancel because of surgery. A variety of mix ups occured, but the manager refunded our money to us which we greatly appreciated.
- 2/5
Everyone who worked there was so nice, but the hotel is in need of major updates. Wires are hanging in the hall and lights flicker like you’re the star of a horror movie lol. Also they do not serve breakfast anymore. But everyone who worked there was so nice!
- 4/5
To be honest the room is little bit dusty. The location is good for travellers like me.The staff are friendly and approachable.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The reason we booked this hotel was due to an event we attended nearby. It is 5 mins away by walking to the Space Needle/Monorail and 10 mins to Climate Pledge Arena. The staff was really helpful in accommodating us and even let us leave our stuff and park our vehicle before check-in. The room was pretty clean and tidy. Highly recommended if you're planning to explore the Seattle Center area.
- 5/5
Good location. Comfortable room. Closr to armory food court.
- 5/5
Many things to do nearby. Everything was as I expected for the price range. The gym came in handy as well. I also appreciated the option to check out late.
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
The room walls were seeping there was a burnt outlet right outside our room. I’m surprised they are even aloud to be open. There’s some serious maintenance that needs to be done. And they don’t do breakfast
- 4/5
Great location. I have no idea if there was a gym or not.
- 5/5
It was close to shopping and restaurants.
- 3/5
It is rundown looking & wires/cables exposed in hallway ceiling. Could use new paint & carpet. Breakfast was a pre-wrapped pastry. But we were there just to sleep. But the location was great, close to tram, Space Needle7, Rock N Roll Museum.
- 5/5
Easy check - in , very clean , nice staff , close to the stadium, restaurants, shops , and pike place market.
- 4/5
Walking distance to the Space Needle (we do Base 2 Space every year). Room was clean, beds are comfy. Parking is not free but you can also try street parking as an option.
- 4/5
Good lcation, easy walk to restaurants and sights
- 4/5
No shopping
- 2/5
Most concerning was that the hotel looked nothing like the pictures shown on Hotels.com. The photos were bright, modern, and welcoming, but the actual condition of the rooms and common areas told a very different story. I don’t think the current rating or photos accurately reflect the true condition of this hotel.

- 4/5
The building and rooms are outdated, however it was very clean and perfectly served our purpose. We got in easy and early, staff was polite and easy to work with. The hotel was completely acceptable for “what you got” with the location. If you’re alright staying in an older clean hotel and do not need upgrade amenities it’s a good save option to see Seattle.
- 5/5
Hotel needs updating but the bed was super comfortable, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for doing things around the Space Needle.
- 5/5
Older hotel but very clean the only complaints are some of the mattresses could be upgraded or replaced !
- 4/5
the staff were super nice to me and my bf, we went down to to lobby A LOT and they were always nice and polite
- 2/5
place was very bare minimum, skme things were made improperly, closet door hinge was reversed so it wouldn't latch and close properly, the sink was terrible to wash hands in, you had to shove ykur hands into the wall of the sink to hey water running on them. The price is just not worth the quality they give you. One good thing I can say is that the employee's are great and wonderful, everything else is definitely subpar and motel status
- 3/5
I killed at least 12 sugar ants in my bathroom. The hot tub was out of order. The place is outdated. Definitely not a $140+ a night place. The surrounding area has new(er) places for almost the same price. Plus, an extra $20 a night for parking??
- 2/5
It looks old
- 1/5
I could have stayed at a Hyatt for less $$$ Never again.
- 5/5
It is an older hotel but was perfect for our trip
- 3/5
We’ve stayed at worst and optimism makes us laugh at the conditions of the hotel making it a memorable trip. Keep scrolling, there may be better options
- 5/5
it was nice
- 3/5
Run down property
- 1/5
It’s an outdated hotel and definitely needs some attention. Cleanliness was ok, but somethings were questionable. The staff was friendly and check was quick. With the cost of parking everywhere in the city it’s best to stay by the airport and take the mono rail.
- 4/5
The hotel was about as expected for the price. It's very close to the space needle and climate pledge arena, which was the most important for me. It was a fine enough place to stay for the night. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked dirty/worn.
- 3/5
Place is tired! Did not warrant that price.
- 4/5
Liked that we were close to space needle.
- 1/5
Had booked this hotel specifically for their advertised Shuttle Service to Pier 91. Spoke to the front desk when I made the booking to confirm that shuttle service was provided and they indicated that yes and that reservation would need to be made upon checkin. When checking in I requested a reservation to find out that this service was no longer provided and we would have to take a taxi to the terminal. This is unacceptable and when the service was cancelled a notice should’ve been sent to all customers booked as most of them were like us and taking the cruise ship the next morning. Hard pill to take at the last minute.
- 5/5
Great location, close to public transit. Felt safe walking around the area.
- 5/5
The location is convenient to the Space Needle and South Lake Union area. The room is old. On our 2nd night, there is large noise from the bathroom. The staff was very friendly, he offered to change a room, which we declined.
- 4/5
Aged hotel but great location and good for a quiet place to sleep.
- 4/5
Old facility that needs remodeling
- 1/5
Room was absolutely disgusting. Stains on walls, lamp shade looked like it had blood on it, bathroom had stains, wall paper coming off walls, weird smell throughout the hotel and room. Decided to not stay and booked at a different hotel.
- 1/5
even though, this place is located at a prime location, the hotel itself is very very dirty, it is very old structure, (late70s or 80's), there is a persistent sewer smell, and the carpet may be 40 years old, nothing has been updated, the bathroom's shower area is like a tomb!!! I wish I could post a pic here and there is no breakfast either. At this price point, it is truly a rip off. I wonder how it is in bsuiness. I would never go into this unhealthy and unsafe place!! -Total disaster!
- 5/5
Staff at check-in were very welcoming and accommodating.
- 5/5
Reasonably priced for Seattle. Close to Monorail and Space Needle. Clean and friendly.
- 4/5
Stayed here a decade ago, still good enough. Convenient for walking to climate pledge arena and to go bags for breakfast. Be sure to ask for their hard boil eggs or yogurt if you're a diabetic.
- 3/5
Bathroom was old and unkept. Ceiling showed water damage .
- 3/5
Advertisement of laundry facilities and didn’t have any, so spent most of my time searching for a laundromat that we could do our wash in the short time we had in location
- 3/5
Great location
- 3/5
Washrooms has
- 3/5
Room smell terrible strong like cigarette and was a non-smoking. Trough out the hotel needs a big time cleaning and maintenance. Staff was friendly, except the lady at check in look very unhappy and not welcoming at all.
- 5/5
Near Space Needle
- 2/5
This is a run- down old hotel that needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It’s passed remodeling.
- 3/5
noisy air-con unit, property showing it age
- 5/5
Hotel was fine. Staff friendly but amazing view from the pool. Walkable distance to restaurants and space needle.
- 1/5
Disgusting establishment. First room wasn’t cleaned at all (towels used and on the floor etc) and it had FLEAS. They did give us a new room on request, it didn’t have fleas but was still disgusting. Mysterious splatter on the walls, disgusting and barely working shower, you name it. Pool area had the same trash on the ground the entire time we were there (4 days, empty beer cans etc.). Pool was half broken and the hot tub water was opaque and slimy. I wouldn’t fathom paying more than 50$ nightly for an establishment this poor but how much did they charge? 210$ nightly!! I booked 6 months in advance as well. With that being said i will be fair and add that it was labor day weekend, however 210 is still astronomical for a place this terrible. 1.5/10, the .5 is because the pool is 8ft deep which is pretty nice.
- 4/5
Place is very old but well maintained. Staff is so nice and helpful. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff wad amazing but the property is run down.
- 5/5
Great staff and location for the space needle & mono rail into downtown seattle. The hotel has a great retro feel which suits the city.
- 3/5
Great value and great location. Spent 3 days in Seattle with the family. A stones throw from space needle and museum. Took the tram to pikes. If your looking to save money it’s a perfect spot for you
- 3/5
Pretty barebones place that has the luxury of being in a popular area to stay so it doesn’t have to focus on quality to get customers. Everything about it is eh.
- 2/5
The room was not cleaned, there was still trash in the cans… very disappointed
- 4/5

- 2/5
The reception staff in the day were great and the sheets were clean but that’s about as good as it gets. The girl who checked us in on the first night was so rude and unwelcoming, I have never known anything like it. Our rooms were so gross I didn’t want my feet to touch the floor. Patched up and dangerous electrics which didn’t work. Everything was so old, no amount of cleaning is going to work. Yes this hotel is close to some of the main sites but really it should be condem
- 2/5
Didn't care for my stay here at all. When I got to my room the A/C didn't work. Then I had to complain because the outlet was dead by the work desk. They never informed me you had to turn the light switch on to make it work. On top of that I was on the first floor, next to the pool. There were people literally 8 feet from my bed. Couldn't sleep. Waited til 10 P.M. for closing time, but it wasn't enforced. Also there "grab and go" breakfast is a joke.
- 3/5
The parking was good; we were able to park close to the door. Inside was quite dark, which I liked, but other people might not. The only real issue was that the ac wasn't set cold enough, and kept turning on and off throughout the night, which kept waking up the other guests staying with me.
- 1/5
There was what looked like black mold around the bottom of the shower ( I have pictures) The carpet was dirty in the halls. The elevator was dirty. We bought a late checkout time as was still bugged at 11:00am about checking out. The whole experience was terrible!
- 4/5
Nice hotel A little dated, great location Good value
- 2/5
The property is not like advertised. No close food, no breakfast, shower was not enough water to get clean. It was noisy and some type of construction started at 6am! We would never recommend.
- 1/5
The front desk staff were too busy on their phones. Couldn’t answer simple questions. The cleaning staff knocked on our door at 11:06 and told us check out was 11:00 even after I paid an extra 40 dollars for a late checkout time(3:00) Their was what looked like black mold around the bottom of the shower in our room. The carpet was dirty everywhere. The elevator was dirty. And we were advised to not go out after dark as that’s when the homeless and sketchy are out! The online pictures and comments were nothing like the real experience! Super disappointed!!
- 4/5
The property was in a very convenient location to the Space Needle and even walkable to Pike's Market. The rooms could use some updating and the overall cleanliness could be better. The morning staff was friendly and more helpful than the late day check-in staff. The price was ok.
- 5/5
The hotel is old but, nice. People are all nice. It was our stop for the night before our cruise.
- 5/5
It was pretty nice
- 4/5
Location was good. Walked to SpaceNeedle(overpriced). Walked to Pike's Place Market although it is a little far. Encounted homeless people on the way there, but did not bother us.
- 4/5
The pool is awesome. The bed not so comfortable. The amenities in the room are good.
- 3/5
The hallways were hot. I was thankful for air conditioning once I got to my room.
- 1/5
Needs updating. Very out of date and not nice
- 3/5
Certainly noo worth the price
- 3/5
Need to remove that there is breakfast
- 4/5
This place is right near the space needle. Perfect location to walk to all the local sites and points of interest.
- 1/5
The swimming pool was nice and the proximity to space needle & chihuly gardens/ was great. The hotel itself was sub par in every way. Horrible beds, horrible pillows, a/c did not work well, the bathroom needed remodeling 10 years ago, the room had a musty smell, the walls were two different colors - top to bottom. Best thing I can say is there were no bedbugs.
- 2/5
Great early Checkin, Renovations happening at the room next to us, awful noise. No shower caps or cups refilled. No clean towels at the pool. Great location but a heads up about the construction would have been noce
- 3/5
Walking distance to iconic Seattle Attractions. Pool is warm and outdoors. Pictures provided are misleading in size. Breakfast was to go bags. Very outdated room. Beds were comfortable and staff friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
great option for a quick one night stay. no frills. but had everything you would need!
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
It was a good stay decent price decent place you get what you pay for. Clean room clean bed what more can you ask for.
- 3/5
I stayed in two different rooms. Both had a shower leak. One had mold. The other had a slow toilet water leak that made the water tank fill and make a loud noise every 20 minutes. The ceiling of one room had water damage. The heated pool was nice.
- 1/5
The shower didn't drain, I was ankle deep in water by the time I was done showering. The blinds don't close so you have lights coming on all night and sun 1st thing in the morning. The staff was rude. I stay at Travelodge's often and have never had a poor experience. This was awful, especially for almost $250 a night!
- 5/5
Although the hotel is in need of TLC in several areas, like carpet cleaning, etc., the location was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. Good value.
- 4/5
Unfortunately the room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the air conditioning unit was so loud it was hard to sleep while running, but thats is just a result of the building's age. The friendly staff and super convenient location make up for it if you're not sensitive to those factors!
- 4/5
I booked a double bed room and was given a single bed room and was changed to a double bed without hesitation. The beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Safe
- 5/5
I was happy to choose this hotel, I was really close to the main attractions just walking.
- 2/5
Bed too stiff, the hot tub was dirty and smelly and hasn’t been cleaned. A/C couldn’t keep up with heat due to 1 pane windows and being an much too old building to keep utilizing.
- 3/5
Old, old, old. Needs to be updated.
- 2/5
Hotel is beyond the point where a remodel would even make sense. There are fairly steep ramps between building sections and the exterior hallways have a visible slant. Lobby is fine, but beyond that the place gives the impression of being patched together. There are extension cords running along ceilings in the halls and suspect looking lighting. One of the two elevators was inoperable during the 4 days we stayed here and the other was down for about a day and half total across the days. Our room did not anything but hot water the first night so we could not shower. Counter employee did not seem surprised and maintenance did come and "fix" the problem, but this turned out to be only partially successful. Reported the issue again on the third day and was told maintenance was currently working on it. When I called later, I was first told they had no record of the request and then that maintenance wasn't on site that day so we were finally moved to another room for the last night of our stay. The water and shower were much better in the new room, but I had some issue with finding enough working power outlets. Overall, I would not recommend beyond that it was convenient walking distance to the Space Needle and the Arena.
- 2/5
Good location. Room too warm snd the shower would not stop dripping.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Fresh towels in the bathroom. Within walking distance to Space Needle and Seattle Center.
- 4/5
The hotel is pretty dated but it’s a great location. The front desk staff was exceptional.
- 4/5
Our first room was less than subpar. There was only hot water in the shower. The staff and management was more than accommodating.
- 1/5
If it wasn’t so expensive we would have immediately walked out and found a new hotel to stay in. There was fresh “gunk” on the bed skirt upon check-in, TONS of stains of the curtains, and the whole room felt disgusting. I had to ask multiple times to have the bed skirt changed and they ultimately just removed it. The pool was usable which was nice, and the area was super walkable to restaurants and things to do.
- 4/5
Property was ok staff friendly clean but nothing fancy
- 4/5
Great location, basic accomodations, nothing fancy
- 3/5
Paint was peely inside the room. TV remote control is not work, even after battery was changed. Bathroom fan was exceptionally loud. Good: close location to attractions was excellent. Manager was extremely helpful in troubleshooting multiple difficulties.
- 2/5
Smell like…… the front desk area with bad odor also the area front of the room with bad smell too!!!!!!! Need remodelation
