The cleanliness easy to go to and have so many restaurants besides it. The faucet for the shower was soooo noisy and the noise in the hallway could wake you up pretty easy.

The young woman at the front desk was very nice during check in and check out. Staff was helpful with explaining how to take the bus into NYC. Can't beat $9.90 for a round trip bus to and from the area of the hotel! The cleaning staff was friendly in the hallways during our stay. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The square pillows for the beds were different. Two 18 inch size pillows for each side of a king bed. I'm just used to larger pillows for a king size bed. The laminate flooring throughout the room was different.

The hotel had everything we wanted, including a microwave and a small fridge for our food. Some apps on the tv were not loading. My team loves South Park - we found South Park on the Comedy Central app on the tv - but none of the seasons loaded. Every other show loaded, except the South Park show. I don't know if it was a settings issue or something else, but no staff member could explain it or correct it. That was a significant disappointment.

Clean and spacious room. Like that there’s no carpet makes it more hygienic. Staff are kind too. I just wish that there’s more options for breakfast food other than that we enjoyed our overnight stay.

Loved the free hot breakfast. The staff was helpful when my keys stopped working. Would've preferred a tub but the shower was clean and maintained with quick hot water. The water smelled a little odd but that might just be the local water. Fairly close to the convention center, but there's no pedestrian crossing signal, so you'll just have to wait for green and watch for left turners from the other side.

The elevator closed and took us on a joy ride a couple of times, the sensors did not work properly when getting of so the doors would quickly close. Restocked the breakfast area quickly with big crowds. Bed made alot of noise just moving. Good for the price. Friendly staff, but called down for housekeeping twice and was forgotten every time.

Wonderful stay

The area is ideal for visitors who prefer not to drive in busy city traffic. There are plenty of food options nearby, and public NJ Transit bus service is located directly in front of the hotel. The Route 320 bus runs from Harmon Meadows to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC, making travel into the city very easy. We were able to take the bus round-trip for $9.90 total ($4.95 each way), which was a great way to explore NYC without paying for parking. Overall, we were very pleased with the property. There was some noise during our stay, but I was able to manage it. One issue worth noting was the room door, which had a noticeable gap that allowed light to enter the room. A better seal around the trim would have helped block out the light, as it was disruptive when trying to sleep in complete darkness.

Only issue is breakfast was minimal. Not a sweet breakfast person so options were ham, eggs, & toast. They ran out early & didn’t put out a lot in comparison to the amount of guests dining. I booked it based on families’s only request for a decent breakfast. I would book again but only for myself not my family.

The hotel stay was great. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. They have plenty of onsite parking which most hotels don’t have or charge you extra for. Can’t ask for more that. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area. Oh and the neighborhood is very safe with shopping and places to eat that you can walk to across the street. I don’t ever write reviews so that says something.

I checked in early with no issues. The hotel was clean. The room was clean with plenty of room. The only issue in the room was the TV. It really needs adjusting as the picture was so dark it was hard to see faces. I parked in the back lot, plenty of light and I could see my vehicle from the window. I would certainly stay again.

Although the room we were assigned to, has an air leak in their AC/Heating unit. Felt the cold breeze from the outside underneath it. But the room gets warm fast. But overall great for the price, would definitely come back again.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary as a staycation away from the kids. We had a good time. Hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing. There was different options of regular waffles or strawberry waffles, eggs, bagels, ham juice, coffee , and cereal. It is best to go early as it does get crowded. The elevators were super full when it was 9ish till check out time. This location is walking distance from many different restaurants.

Great hotel will definitely stay again

Inspite of informing them to give us a good room since we have senior citizens with us in the group, the room was checked prior to check in. The AC was not working. The bathroom mirror light was not working. The microwave was about to give way. The room was an older dated room. First night we did not get sleep because of the heat. We were told nothing can be done. Next day we were asked to switch rooms and then we got a newer room on the same floor with a better view which should have been given to us the first day. The breakfast should have more options for the price they are charging..

They cleaned the room every day. However, they need to replace their pillows because they are too small and flat. They don't even seem to be a standard size; it looks more like a throw pillow.

My stay here was fantastic. The front desk agents, were so nice and made check- in and out a good experience. The hotel was very clean and the room was immaculate, breakfast was good as well. The location is in a prime area next to lots of local restaurants and stores. Plus it's very accessible to New York. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait for my next stay. ☺️

We stayed in room 211 and the heater in the room was terribly noisy. Some maintenance should be required to fix it. Other than that, the staff was friendly and it was very clean.

I only have The Hyatt Place Secaucus and LaQuinta Secaucus to compare in the area as I haven’t stayed anywhere else yet for my work visits to some local data centers. The Best Western Plus is a little lower quality than The Hyatt Place as far furniture and amenities including the breakfast “buffet”. The mattress at The Best Western had springs digging into my back and the towels had a bunch of very long dark hair on them and there was very little water pressure in the shower but plenty in the sink, the room did have a microwave and a refrigerator it the fridge was missing a foot so it bounced around when putting things in and out, the microwave was very weak and smelled awful. I won’t be choosing The Best Western for my lodgings on my next trip.

Three other customers arrived during this period, and none of us were acknowledged. All seven of us were left standing around the front desk with no communication whatsoever. When it was finally my turn, there was still no apology for the wait or any appreciation for our patience. The lack of professionalism was disappointing, and based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

They don't have much variety for breakfast. It's the same every day. The elevator takes forever to move up or down. I think it's faster to take the stairs.

The room was clean and good size for a family of three BUT it didn’t give you something very basic, a warm shower. When I called the front desk for switching rooms, they would tell you the entire hotel was fully booked and it wasn’t possible to change room and all the rooms were the same and I should not expect to have hot boiling water for shower when it’s cold and snowing. I told the front desk I wasn’t asking for boiling hot water but it’s not even warm enough. They could send the technician to my room next morning. Do not stay this hotel if you want a warm shower at night.

My family drive from MD to NJ and the staff where very professional. We want to stay an extra night and Claudia did all the rearrangement for us. She also help us understand how to get to NY in a cheapest way! They also Bilingual which made it easy to communicate

I also told them about the two different silverfish I saw scuttling across the bathroom floor the first morning. Being trapped in the broken elevator on the third day was not fun either. We were trapped for somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes (didn't time it). We walked up and down the stairs the final two days, because they switched off the wrong elevator for repairs - and it was certainly janky/jumpy when the doors opened and we realized they turned off the wrong elevator! Otherwise the place was quite clean, the breakfast was exactly the same as you get at all other similar hotels (checking in, the manager said breakfast was "amazing" -- compared to what, I wondered the next morning). I have stayed at this property a few times in the past and have usually enjoyed it, no problem. Elevators happen, but the other issues should not.

Amazing hotel

The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were a great size and bigger than most rooms in New York. Easy to get to and from the city with the bus picking up and dropping off across the street. Very quiet shockingly for a hotel packed with travelers from all over. Near shopping and restaurants. Walmart is about a 2 blocks distance if you forget anything. Very clean. Will definitely be back. Last thing is we loved being able to check-in and out using the link sent to our phones the day before arrival. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The positive energy among staff stood out to me as a clear indication that this establishment is a great place to work. I appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities as well as the smart and comfortable furnishings.

I reported this issue to the front desk on three separate occasions over the three days of my stay. Each time, the staff pretended to address the complaint but ultimately ignored it. No effective repair was ever made. The lack of care and follow-through from the front desk was deeply disappointing and is a very rare and negative experience in the hospitality industry.

its the best hotel in the area to go to Met Life for a concert. All other hotels around the area are old and run down. This one was brand new, and they had a shuttle service to Met Life.

Hotel has done some renovations, but there are still upgrades that need to occur. The walls are thin (and I travel with earplugs) and regular upkeep could be better. Decent for one night, but likely wouldn't stay again.

Phone did not work in the room. Was asked to come to the front desk to retrieve extra towels and blankets instead of them being brought to us. Mini fridge barely held a temperature. Found sunflower seeds in the bedding. AND the heater/ac did not work properly. Didn’t heat up or cool down. Will not be returning. Staff were friendly though.

There is a gym too. Staff were helpful. If you need a place to stay with good access to Newark Airport or NYC, this place will work (if you have a car).

Some receptionists’ English is difficult to communicate or understand. We asked whether there is any mint tea, she said she would send some to the room soon. After 20 minutes no one came and a second called was made, she sent housekeeping to deliver some quilts to our room. A third call confirmed that she did not understand what mint tea was.

Best way to describe the stay was that it was a room to sleep in for the night. Nothing great or terrible. Just a room.

Staff was not at all cooperative. The house keeping didn’t clean our room, breakfast menu was terrible and service was slow. Coffee machine was out of order for a day during our 4 night stay. Washroom near the lobby was dirty.

Easy walk to the bus stop across the street if heading into NY. However, the night we arrived the air conditioning wasn’t working, the phone wasn’t working, and the refrigerator was barely cool. Maintenance came up but spoke little English so it was hard to communicate. The air slowly started to cool if we put it on 61 or 62. He brought a new phone but it didn’t work either, so it was a line issue. Not much concern about not having a phone, but refrigerator and air was less than ideal. I was told they were booked and there was nothing they could do to switch rooms. When asked if I could get reimbursed anything for air not working, I was told the manager was out of town. Not sure I would stay here again.

I had a confirmed booking (Expedia Itinerary: 72065927331336) for 9–11 October 2025, made on 5 September. After a long journey from Burlington, VT to JFK and then hours of traffic, my family (including our 5-year-old child) arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM, only to be told by the receptionist that my card had been declined and there was no room available. No one from the hotel contacted me beforehand—no phone call, email, or text—to advise of any issue or to request updated card details. When questioned, the receptionist vaguely claimed someone had called “between 9 AM and 4 PM” but could not say when or by whom, and refused to provide details. I later received an email from Expedia at 8 PM asking how my check-in went, which clearly shows even Expedia was unaware of any issue. We were left stranded late at night with a child and had to find another taxi and hotel at our own expense. Completely unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable conduct. It appears the booking may have been resold without notice. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious.

The hotel is very clean and safe. 3 mins walk to the bus stop if you're going to NYC.

My room was REALLY beat up, mold around the shower, mattress was with springs and could feel the wires😒 tv/cable would not always work. Room smell. Staff was kind and polite. But hotel in serious need of upgrades and maintenance

My girlfriend left a MK bag on the room with a Gucci sunglasses inside by mistake and I need to fight with the stuffs over the phone to get it back !! Called in 3 days putting pressure on them to get it back because I knew it was there ,i told them will call Marriotts office and tell them about it, next day called them again and some how they have it there !! So watch out when you stay over!!

Love the coffee machine they have in the properly, makes great cappuccino and hot chocolate and a free water filter to fill up your bottle before travelling.

All went well except I asked for “as quiet as possible”. From Monday through Tuesday it was quiet. From then on there were people above, left and right of me.

At check in we were sent to a room that was already occupied. In new room TV did not work. Called down to desk and told they would send someone. Called 25 min. later - "He's not there? I'll call him again." Called again 25 min. later - "he's gone for the day. sorry". Knock on door 20 min. later...fixed TV....Dispite this, I would stay here again. Good location, clean, & I don't think my experience is a common occurance.

We love this place. Whenever we’re in Manhattan this is our spot. The staff are great, the location is really good to commute into the city and back.

Happy with hotel. I traveled with my husband and two children.I would definitely stay again if traveling to New York City. We drove in and hotel has free parking. Hotel was close enough and easy to get to New York City with our car. Room was very clean and I was impressed with the bathroom. Very clean and new Small lobby area. Staff was nice. I think my only disappointment was in the breakfast. But it was included so I can't complain. Close to Walmart and chain restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Clean rooms, good service. All I expected for a one night stay for a local event.

Overall good, just needs to have the elevator working and the hallways shampooed.

Everything about room was amazing. Clean and well organized. The mattress was also comfortable. My only complaint, which has nothing to so with the hotel is that our neighbor was so so loud all night long.

The staff went above and beyond to get me the most comfortable room but the people next to my room were very noisy especially the children. I don’t get how their parents couldn’t control them and allow them to scream in the whole way at 7:00 AM . I complained but it seems like some people have no manners at all

Stay was fine. Until the day of checkout I was looking for my work phone and could not find it. I never misplace my items. I went to front desk to ask for it and after I was late to my flight after searching 40 min for it. They brought it to front desk and said she accidentally picked it up with the towels. Missed my flight. She cleaned my room previous day and next day my phone was not turned in until I noticed it missing. Makes no sense.

Hotel was perfect for our stay as we visited the Meadowlands for a concert at night and felt safe returning back to hotel.

Good breakfast. Great location and they provided a shuttle to MetLife if you’re in town for any shows. The bathroom was very spacious and clean.

There was no ventilation in the room. The AC was not working.

Bed comfort is very good. The room is very clean. Food is okay. I can smell cigarettes or something else in the hallways of the 4th floor .

Room was clean (although my comforter had a noticeable stain on it) and the staff was extremely nice and quick during check in and out. Hotel is extremely close to MetLife and has a ton of food options within walking distance

Price is outrageous for basic room for one night but that’s the rate for the area, I guess. Broken elevator made it difficult getting in and out during busy times. Staff were nice.

Showed up at 10 am, came from out of town. Wednesday morning, not crowded, and I asked the night before about early check in, and no one responded. Said room was ready and available, yet charged me 50$ for early check in. Will not go to best western again.

Me and my brother shared a 2 bed room over this past weekend for WWE SummerSlam. Along with it being very close to Metlife Stadium, least via bus, the hotel itself was rather nice and cozy. Overall it validated my thought of it being the best choice for the price. If I ever end up traveling back to Jersey for an event, I’ll likely be staying at this hotel once again.

Excellent service at the hotel-staff incredibly helpful! Perfect for staying when attending an event at MetLife and tons of dining options right across the street!

The property was run down, only one elevator working and no sign of anyone working to fix the broken one. The working one buttons did not light up for our floor. The room itself was dirty. There were stains on the bathroom door and walls that looked like poop and despite bringing this up to the staff multiple times it was never cleaned and the hotel was fully booked so a room change was not offered. Would not stay there again. Only positive was that they let us leave our car there both before and after check out so it was nice not to worry about parking while attending our event.

The property met all the criteria we had established: easy access to Manhattan, free breakfast, easy access to public transportation, and near several restaurants.

This property was disgusting. The rugs everywhere were heavily stained. The desk clerk the morning of the 21st was extremely rude to the point he was told to watch his mouth speaking to my partner. One elevator was inoperable which made coming and going very difficult. Nobody wants to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs. Last but not least the bathroom grout was blackened with what appeared to be mold. This property needs an overhaul asap.
