Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast is a highlight for many, with a good variety of options. However, there are consistent complaints about the pool being too cold and issues with room maintenance. Some guests also express frustration with extra charges and deposit policies.

They never found my booking and wanted to charge me $800 for a room I booked at $400. After about 1.5 hours of back and forth with the front desk, asking for the manager twice (she never came out), and one long phone call with you guys, they finally accepted in giving me a room at the original price. they never found my booking.

I didn't really think about it until after we left, but I realized they gave us a room with two full size beds when we had reserved a room that was supposed to have two queen sized beds.
- 3/5
The hotel was okay but omg it smelled. There is almost a sewage smell all over and it’s covered up with air fresheners or something. Maybe from the marshes nearby? Room was pretty large and clean. But the smell killed it for me.
- 3.5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious. The bus stop right in the front of the hotel. Easy to get to New York. Paper plates and cutlery at breakfast.
- 5/5
I've been staying here since it was Embassy Suites decades ago as a kid. Staying here as an adult with my own kids, it's so comforting to see that some things don't change. The plants, the breakfast and the elevator ride are still there. The room was clean, housekeeping readily available and parking is easily accessible

I showed the manager the proof directly from the listing. She dismissed it and blamed the booking site. When I contacted the booking site, they blamed the hotel. Both sides pointed fingers while I was stuck in the middle with no help, no accountability, and no solution. Instead of enjoying our planned night in New York City, I spent hours on the phone trying to get someone to take responsibility. The entire purpose of the stay was ruined. If the hotel had been honest about the beds, we wouldn’t have needed the rooms at all. I followed up repeatedly, and the manager has ignored every call. No update, no apology, no refund, nothing. The hotel says they don’t have queen beds. The listing still says they do. And customers are the ones paying for their misinformation and lack of responsibility. Harmony Suites failed on honesty, accuracy, and basic customer care. I would not recommend this hotel or the booking site that continues to allow this misleading listing.

Upon arrival, we discovered that the room assigned to us was located in the basement, a detail that was never disclosed in the Booking.com listing. The room was completely different from the one advertised in the photos and from the accommodation we specifically selected and booked. Had this information been clearly stated, we would never have made the reservation. The room provided was in unacceptable condition and did not meet the expectations set by the listing. It was significantly inferior to the accommodation presented and did not reflect what we had paid for. Manager not available for 2 days in a row.

The hotel is located in New Jersey, near the airport Newark. The rooms are very comfortable; the bedding is spotlessly clean and comfortable; the hotel is in a good location; opposite the hotel is a bus stop for the number 320, which will take you to New York in 20 minutes. I really liked the hotel, especially the value for money. The breakfasts aren’t particularly varied, but for New York, they’re not bad – you won’t go hungry. The staff do not speak English, apart from those at reception. The internet connection is very poor, especially in the rooms. I stayed at the hotel for seven days; I booked twice—three days each time, plus an additional four days—and was charged a deposit of $150 on each occasion. Every time they promise that the deposit will be refunded within 10 working days, but unfortunately the money isn’t returned for at least a month, and it might even take longer
- 5/5
Breakfast variety, swimming pool and gym, suits with living and bedroom and small kitchen corner with fridge, micro, coffee machine, sink. Bus just in front, Walmart and many restaurants close by. Easy to travel to Manhatten by bus 320 Friendly, almost homely

Great experience!

Everything about the hotel was great, except for the pool. The water was a very green color; you couldn't see the bottom. It was very foamy and had a strong chemical smell. We didn't dare use it.

My only problem was I asked for clean towels and waited a long time.

Negatives: the furnishings are dated and rooms are pretty shabby, the AC unit was loud in the room, the laundry/towels smelled bad( like smoke or something), the breakfast was mediocre-not much variety, very basic. The hotel was pretty busy and was loud at times. You have to request for your room to be cleaned if you want that, they only left one extra roll of toilet paper in the room and it was annoying to have to call for more.
- 2/5
The ac could have been better. It wasn't cold at all
- 2/5
Busy hotel with no exits besides emergency exits. One set of elevators for multiple rooms waited 10 minutes to catch an elevator down stairs( elevators were packed) . Employees not able to answer simple questions due to not speaking English. Extra charge for people staying in room on top of expensive stay .
- 2/5
Very unkept and unclean. Garbage on the floor, very dusty rooms and hallways. Doors not fully operational at front. Staff behind the counter was distracted talking to one another.
- 5/5
All good!
- 4/5
The pool was small and cramped. It might have depended on the time I visited, but the breakfast items—such as the potatoes—were cold and not tasty.

I booked a room with a King Size bed on your website but one I got in there, the staff told us that you have overbooked the hotel so we didn’t have the room that I had paid for. We did have a downgrade for a smaller room with a queen size bed instead of a king. I would like to have a refund for the difference of price between both room

The bar tender was amazing but that’s about it. The pool was absolutely disgusting. Slimy and bugs were in it!!!!! We got out immediately and showered all the kids. Out of 5 kids 2 of them had a bug on them or in hair when showered. Told hotel staff could not of cared less. And didn’t do anything to make it right. Also when getting into room. Toilet paper had one piece left of it and the water bottles they leave u one was half drank !!
- 1/5
The biggest issue was that the hotel double charged me for my room. When I noticed the duplicate charge and brought it to the front desk’s attention, I was initially told that the refund would be processed and returned to my account the next day. However, after following up, I was then told it would actually take 3–5 business days. Mistakes can happen, but what was most frustrating was the way the situation was handled. Instead of taking ownership of the error, the front desk staff became noticeably rude and dismissive when I questioned the duplicate charge. As a paying guest, I expected professionalism and empathy, especially when dealing with a billing mistake that tied up additional funds on my card. Unfortunately, the billing issue was not the only problem. The room itself was not cleaned to an acceptable standard upon arrival. For a hotel that charges premium rates, cleanliness should be a basic expectation, not an exception. To make matters worse, when I requested shampoo from housekeeping/front desk, I was given body wash instead. While this may seem minor, it reflected a broader lack of attention to guest needs and service quality throughout my stay. Between being double charged, receiving poor customer service, staying in a room that was not properly cleaned, and having simple guest requests handled incorrectly, this was one of the most disappointing
- 3/5
The room was nice but the room and bed linens had a strange smell.
- 4/5
Well trained staff. Did not like the quality of breakfast but it’s free, so it’s your choice.
- 1/5
Very disappointed with my stay. The bed sheets had a strong odor resembling burning or exhaust fumes, which made the room uncomfortable from the moment I arrived. Before heading to the pool, I called the front desk and was told it was open. After getting changed and ready to swim, I found the pool entrance locked with an “Out of Order” sign taped to the door. I then had to wait approximately 20 minutes for staff to unlock it. Once inside, the pool was in poor condition. The water appeared green, and the overwhelming smell of chlorine mixed with algae made it unpleasant to use. Breakfast was also underwhelming. The made-to-order omelet was the only item that seemed fresh and enjoyable; the rest of the food was trash (especially what they call waffle fries). To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk four separate times to request an extra pillow before someone finally brought one to the room.
- 5/5
Regarding the hotel, everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly, the buffet breakfast was delicious, and the parking was a definite plus. It was also incredibly easy to get to Times Square via the 320 bus. We will definitely be back! ☺️

It has good breakfast and the location is great if one wants to visit New York. The rooms are outdated though but beds are comfortable.

Before I could even fully ask a question about possibly booking an additional night, I was met with a negative attitude and no possible solution without even researching and seeing what was available.
- 4/5
Our stay was great besides a few things. Prior to booking I didn’t see anything about a $150 deposit so that caught me off guard as well as other people that happened to be checking in besides me at the time. Breakfast had a funky smell and was not good at all. So we took time to eat outside of the hotel. The pool images online making it appear way bigger than it actually was.
- 5/5
Todo muy bien y calidad
- 4/5
Parking was nice that it was free but inconvenient because parking on the first floor was nonexistent and second floor was under construction, so walking down from the 3rd floor stairs with multiple suitcases probably wasn’t the best of ideas. The room was immaculate, bed was comfortable, pillows comfortable and the washroom was nice. The room felt like a suite with a living room couch and small sink and fridge area and separate bedroom, overall the value is there for the money, breakfast was cozy and many varieties. Was a good stay
- 4/5
- 5/5
My only issue was the parking. Other than that it was clean, convenient location (walking distance to so much including the mall) continental breakfast was a plus, friendly staff. TGE pool was GREAT and stocked

Property is conveniently located, nice room, small but useful swimming pool and gym, water refill in the gym. Location hit me the most, very easy to commute to NYC from this location in bus/Uber. Staff was very responsive for all but room service request. Room will be full of needfuls on the check-in day, and then you can request cleaning service if needed. My room was on 7th floor front facing, which gives you good look in the morning and night both. Complementary Breakfast was ok because I am vegetarian, and I like to have something which cater my morning breakfast needs. A lot of people of similar interests were just eating bread and butter, and tea instead of freshly made hot vegetarian breakfast dish like (poha / idly chutney/ vada sambhar/puri sabji/ thepla / paratha/ dhokla, any of these). Hotel management should act on this breakfast feedback specially when they know they have people who like to have any of such item in breakfast, any single item is good to begin with. Being in Jersey city, this should be easily doable. I'll definitely recommend to friends, who like to use public transport for NYC trip. And if breakfast menu has something mentioned above added, then it's 5star from me. Can definitely come back for next trip.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and the rules were clear.
- 1/5
HAve nothing to say good about this stay
- 5/5
I will say that they charge an extra $150 deposit on top of the total taxes and fees estimated by hotels.com, wich I wasn't expecting. Other then that the breakfast was good, room was clean, the A/C sucked so baddly and our room was hot the entire time and we had a leak in our bathroom sink and water got all over the floors. I'll give it 4.5 stars because I'm not picky but they could be better.
- 4/5
I unfortunately was unable to utilize the pool because there must have been an event near by because the hotel was full of families and lots of small children. The pool was not very big but at the time i went it was full of kids. Other than that the stay was great.
- 2/5
Slow there was dog convention going on a lot of barking couldn’t sleep. Check in line took 30 minutes…. To check in….
- 4/5
Beautiful place to stay. Very clean and well kept. Lovely bar to enjoy delicious cocktails 🍸. Bartender is very nice younger guy. He makes you feel welcome. Front desk needs improvement on their customer service skills. 2 younger girls were very rude. And the breakfast people harass people about eating and they are really rude. They will take food while you are standing there trying to serve yourself. Takes too long to wait for waffles and when breakfast is over that's exactly what they mean.

Best breakfast clean room

First the tub was draining super slow when taking a shower, called maintenance and they said everything was fine, he put some solution but it didn’t do anything, back to standing slow water. Then there was a leak in the ac unit so we had to move rooms because the carpet was wet and I almost slipped a few times going in the bathroom. Then we get to the new room and the water was splashing everywhere from the faucet in the bathroom. Then at night time there was a party next door and I had to call 4 times to get someone to come in my room and listen to the noise next door at 1:30 in the morning because maintenance guy said there was no noise when he listened outside the room. Had to get up and get dressed so he can come in our suite and listen to the noise. Few minutes after 3 guys were escorted out. It ruined my sleep, only slept 3 hours. We checked out and the front lady said she will let the manager know of my complaints but I still haven’t received a call back.
- 4/5
The stay wasn’t terrible. The rooms are HUGE! I had two queens in an average size room with a door and an entire living room! Insane how big these rooms are it was great. Water pressure was amazing! The downside, there are notices plastered everywhere about them actively working on extermination. You can’t have food in your rooms, and thinking about bugs just makes me itchy.
- 5/5
Sure nice hotel. Very clean, breakfast was great and everyone was friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel is a fantastic, cost-effective alternative to staying in New York City. The rooms are incredibly spacious and immaculate, and the properties' amenities—including a fresh breakfast and free parking—are excellent. It is ideally located near the Lincoln Tunnel, with a bus station just steps from the front door, making commuting into NYC incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

This is always our go to place to stay when visiting NYC. Never had a problem here. Always clean, convenient, and friendly. Also very accessible to the city bus.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, excellent location - bus stop to New York across street from hotel, many restaurants nearby, some walking distant. Convenient parking garage at no charge. Very spacious rooms. Friendly & helpful staff. Very good value for the money. Would definitely stay there again.

Bus: Take the 320 bus, the bus stop is right across the street. It will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan on 42nd Street. The ride cost $4.95 each way and is around 30 minutes at almost all times except when there's no traffic late at night, then it's 15 minutes. From the Port Authority, you can easily transfer to subway trains to go all over Manhattan (the subway cost $3 each time). Times Square is a 15-minute walk from the Port Authority. To return to the hotel, go to gate 314 at the Port Authority, that's where the 320 bus will be (until 1am, then it goes to gate 85? downstairs, I forget). Using tap to pay with my credit card worked for every bus ride except once it wasn't working for some reason, the driver wouldn't accept cash either, I had to get a ticket at the machines, and the driver didn't wait for me (I forgot to even ask) so I missed that bus. Parking: free and easy, they have a garage, I think the construction that interfered with parking that other reviewers mentioned must be finished now. Breakfast: free and solid, they had trays of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, oatmeal, and a make your own omelet station. Also, the Carnegie diner is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and is good but expensive. Room: cleanliness was good, there was a mini fridge and microwave despite what was listed on Expedia

we had to go in the morning to seacaucus train station. hotels right in Seacaucus were almost twice the price and half the amenities...including charging for parking. Excellent value and surprisingly well outfitted and comfortable. We are gonna come back again and again

Bus stop super close to the hotel and only $4.90 to get to the city, very convenient

I came to Harmony Hotel for a dog grooming convention and stayed for 2 nights. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a beautiful view of New York City. The rooms were clean, stocked, and updated. I was really surprised how spacious our room was. The hot water came on very fast and lasted a long time. The air conditioning in the room was effective and consistent. We enjoyed the breakfast. They even had waffles and omelettes and the breakfast was included with our stay. Overall I was really happy with the hotel and I felt it was worth the expense to stay super close to the convention center.
- 5/5
Rooms are nice and spacious and pleasant smelling. Thr breakfast was fresh anf delicious. Staff friendly and attentive, the only hiccup was many don't speak English so there was a language barrier. Also there were ALOT of dogs which triggered allergies in my travel mates. I would definitely stay here again.

When you get into the atrium area, it smells of raw sewage. We arrived after midnight. Two young people were at the desk to check us in. There was some "trouble" with our credit card for the $150 hold they put on the room at check in. When we got back home after our stay, the "hold" charge is still on our credit card! Be careful and watch your credit card statement!

The parking was under reconstruction so it was an issue, but overall i like the stay. It's a, really nice hotel.

First, there was a strong air freshener smell in the room that was gross all night. Second, the open airy interior is not ideal for families. There is a bar that was open until 1 am and our family happened to have a room directly above it. We could hear the loud conversations and drunk laughing until 2:00 in the morning - and this was on a Monday night. Additionally, our door had a slit at the bottom that let in light and you could see people's feet walking by. We chose this hotel due to the close proximity to American Dream Mall, but we were highly disappointed. When we checked out a day early and expressed our complaints, they did not offer to refund our money. I do not recommend this hotel.

I love the spacious rooms with a separate space for sitting watching TV etc. Enough room to spread out. Wonderful break! The staff is super friendly and the area provides good proximity to shopping and bus lines to NYc. My daughter wanted a day away from the city and we found a beautiful marsh park to birdwatch in. It’s amazing how close to NYC and yet nature is abundant. This was our second visit I know we will return soon.
- 5/5
Great location if you need to be in Manhattan for anything. Bus from the hotel to Port Authority is about $2.50 and takes 15 to 20 minutes. Stops right across from the hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Clean hotel and staff is very attentive. When we have several days in NYC, we almost always stay here.

Broken metal steps swinging in pool, 1 fell off (screw came off as my sons was climbing out) owners are liars, witnesses in pool at 935 when guy came to close at 10 i reported to him. Next morning they were letting kids swim in pool. Fully neglected to make sure something was done... lied about a convenience store, saying it was 5 miles /30 mins away.... it was 1.8 and asked him at desk, he forgot that one...as they want you to spend all your money there. Fruit Flys in ALL the liquor bottles as well. Breakfast had absolutely no flavor except the waffle...they watch you eat basically push you out after you wait 1 hour in line for a waffle...safe was detatched like someone ran off with it.... no bath fan couldn't see with the fog, outlets were falling out the walls and chargers would fall out as well. Actually I had some painter tape which helped as I'm a contractor as well

Breakfast was fresh. Parking not to safe and parkong lot was to tight.. only thinv can say about the room the tv dont have much channels to watch. Cant even watch netflix on the tv. Far as breakfast they serve pork everybody dont eat pork. They need to start serbing turkey, beef. Chicken sausages/bacon.
- 5/5
Clean room great breakfast
- 5/5
Parking garage has no elevator so drop off bags first is my tip!
- 5/5
Check in was efficient. The property was in neat, clean and in good condition. The breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing. A lot of choices to eat. The room was clean and they left welcome snacks. Staff was wonderful and the location for outside restaurants was great. You can walk to a steakhouse, red lobster, Dave’s chicken and many others. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool. It was cloudy and dirty. That can be improved.
- 4/5
Breakfast was complete TRASH. Eggs had no flavor. Omelettes were bland. Oatmeal was terrible. Waffles tasted like cardboard. Please step up your breakfast. Could do so much better.
- 4/5
Miter friendly and free parking is great. Mattress is not comfortable for sleeping… looks like the broken or saggy. Otherwise rest all good.
- 5/5
Quick family weekend getaway. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and bigger than expected. Very close to stores and coffee shops. Free breakfast was great! Centrally located to get to NYC within less then a half hour depending where you are going. Overall great stay and will stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was really good
- 4/5
Hotel is very good cleaning staff not reliable good breakfast fast front desk staff perfect.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved it will be back
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable and the bus to new York across the street
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
Interesting smell
- 1/5
That means our cards did not work, strangers had access to our room and our stuff.
- 5/5
Staff are excellent.
- 4/5
This hotel was great for our family, but lines for breakfast is very long. We were in line for 1 hour waiting for waffles. I can’t for the life of me understand how & why they only have 4 waffle makers for hundreds and hundreds of people. The waffles also seem to be the most popular breakfast, so you would think they would have been arrangement. Tried to talk to the “breakfast manager” who was collecting the meal tickets about it, but he had every excuse in the book as to why this was the best they could do. Unbelievable. We learned quickly & devised a plan the next day.
- 3/5
Room was more or less clean. Breakfast "french fries" were not fit. Meat patties were nice. Beacon was not freshest but ok. Good anount if choices and fresh omlet to order. Lots of ataff cleaning. I would give it 8 out of 10 total
- 5/5
We had a great stay at Harmony Suites
- 5/5
Great location and wonderful hotel for families.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Horrible experience and stay. Booked a 2 queen bed suite as advertised on hotel.com only to find out the hotel doesn’t even offer. Only double beds that were extremely uncomfortable. Front desk staff was rude and unapologetic
- 5/5
Hotel is a convienent location with lots of food choices around it Ten min from American dream mall and meadowlands
- 4/5
Very nice room and breakfast for the price. Perfect to catch bus to Manhattan.
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
The room quality including beds are just not acceptable anymore.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and professional. We needed a crib for my daughter and they promptly brought one to our room without hesitation. Pool was nice and up-kept, breakfast buffet was very good.
- 5/5
Clean room and great breakfast
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Best place I ever been
- 4/5
WiFi is ok in the living room but poor in the bedroom.
- 1/5
Lady staff at front desk wasn’t any good help. Didn’t have any none pork options for breakfast. Room had a clogged sink and it took over 4 hours to come see about the issue
- 5/5
Rooms are spacious and clean, towels were luxurious! The staff in the bar and at check in were friendly and accommodating. Convenient location to NYC, easy bus access and plenty of food in walking distance.
- 4/5
Cool
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Staff were extremely kind!
- 3/5
This property needs to be updated. The staff was very nice. The free breakfast was good but the orange juice was sour. The sofa needs to be cleaned. Just needs to update EVERYTHING
- 4/5
Parking is under construction. Still ok
- 3/5
Spacious and quiet room. Room was reasonably clean and all facilities in working condition but, the property was clearly dated. Breakfast was nice to have available but is a couple of notches below IHOP.
- 5/5
the staff is incredible. Helpful, kind and always looking to go above an beyond. The hotel and rooms are like a stroll down memory lane with a late 90s vibe.
- 5/5
Its a very nice hotel
- 4/5
Front desk, very inviting and quick. Room are big and clean Parking is awful, under construction. Would return
- 5/5
Excelente
- 5/5
Free parking and super easy commute to the city. Lovely shopping and dining plaza nearby with movie theater. Great escape from the city
- 5/5
Great breakfast and close to America Dream
- 5/5
Clean. Friendly staff, free breakfast
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
Nice rooms..
- 5/5
Everything was awesome
- 5/5
They were very nice ppl
- 5/5
Bathroom should have been cleaned better by the toilet.
- 4/5
Room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. I like they have an omelet station (included). The room was spacious. The disappointing part was the pool area. The pool room was freezing so it made it uncomfortable to enjoy. I get it was the coldest day of the year but usually it’s hot and humid in the pool area. The hardest part was parking. They have a garage so there was plenty of spots but was hard to find and a little sketchy since there is a lot of construction going on. We didn’t see an elevator in the garage but it was too cold to look around.
- 4/5
We liked the amenities and the free breakfast and pool. However, without a fan or vent in the bathroom, it was way too loud at all hours of the night. We stayed on the second floor and my kids and I were up lots of our second night due to noise. There really needs to be something to cancel the noise out, or thicker walls.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great breakfast - but a bit crowded
- 5/5
Clean large rooms frind
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Was shabbier than what I expected. Parking is not on site. It’s in a shared lot next door with very little parking. The hallways are dark and gloomy. The breakfast was ok. Could not adjust room temperature and was pretty hot at night. Toddler was up all night. Interior is old. Bath was ok. Place was clean enough so we stuck it out for 2 nights
- 1/5
Front desk were very rude.
- 3/5
The room was clean and the staff was friendly The hotel and pool could use some upgrades. The breakfast was very good with a made to order omelet station.
- 1/5
I do not recommend this hotel. The staff was unprofessional, and the pool was unusable due to being extremely cold. We checked out after only 2 hours. Despite leaving immediately, management has refused to process a refund for our unused stay.
- 5/5
The best place to stay and we lived it. Clean rooms and large space. Free breakfast too!! Amazing ! Also very affordable.
- 5/5
My go to place!
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast options were good but the taste was just ok. The location and hotel was overall great lots of room in the room and having two king size beds was amazing. My biggest complaint is the shower it made a very loud noise throughout the shower that could be heard in all the rooms around us, and in order to have good water pressure and reduce the noise for my daughter I had to hold in the stopper for her the whole time
- 3/5
Room

Room was good little out dated and wished the hours for breakfast where a little longer but overall great experience
- 5/5

- 1/5
Loud Music playing next door at the expo center and kids running around at 12:30am. If all that wasn’t enough Breakfast felt like we were in jail with wardens walking around watching everyone’s last move. Like someone wanted to steal a subpar breakfast. We felt bad for the waitstaff employees who are treated terribly and face racism by management this was vey disappointing and disgraceful I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I would give it a 0 if I could!!!
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful inside, huge rooms, kind and courteous staff. We would absolutely stay again.
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
The place is nice but the inside is cold looks like they dont have a heater inside the hotel specially in breakfast area. People are nice. The room looks abit old, need to upgrade the paint and furnitures.
- 5/5
Great Stay!!!
- 5/5
The room and staff were awesome.
- 5/5
Tge riim was clean snd the breakfast
- 4/5
The Hotel was phenomenal and also the staff. The parking lot situation needs to be addressed ASAP.
- 5/5
Everything was clean and nice
- 3/5
Froze all night. Heat wasn’t working properly. Sent a maintenance person changed filters but never warmed up. Had to say in room with children with door closed to stay warm while my husband froze all might in the living room
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Breakfast was over the top... omelets, waffles, fresh fruit. Very accommodating to kids, staff always had a smile.
- 5/5
It's beautiful clean spacious filling like don't want to leave
- 3/5
Television was basic cable, no Netflix no casting, undisclosed $150 deposit (much higher than name brand hotels) breakfast “buffet” was sausage bacon French fries and an omelette, hotel was clean and smelled good parking was a hassle especially in the winter months, staff was friendly
- 1/5
Too much noise in the room from the heating and the pool was very cold and the water was not warm. The children were very disappointed. We only came because of the pool which was written to be heated. I booked for two nights and left after one night... Not recommended
- 5/5
Stay was excellent!
- 5/5
Wonderful!
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Everything was great. Staff was super nice and helpful. Clean room. No issues with parking. Will stay there again.
- 5/5
Every thing was perfect
- 4/5
The hotel was super cold! I had to turn the heat in my room up to 78° to feel warm. Breakfast options were less than ideal.
- 5/5
Clean and over all a nice hotel
- 1/5
My room so cold i ask them put in a different room that was a problem.. yesterday night when i check in the guy always put me on the ninth floor i stay there all the time .. i want never stay there no more want get no more of my money 💯 am going to call my bank in get my money back i was freezing in that room gave me one heater still was cold in i when downstairs and told them about my room they say the heat was working in my room.. no wasn’t still cold
- 5/5
Everything was surprisingly wonderful for a great price too!
- 1/5
My check in took longer than expected, they ended up checking in someone who wasn’t me. It was a long time wait
- 5/5
Spacious rooms, great breakfast
- 5/5
Rooms were spacious and the breakfast was excellent
- 5/5
The rooms was soo clean!!
- 4/5
Good breakfast. Convenient to NYC bus
- 5/5
Great location, well kept, courteous staff. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Rooms were spacious and clean. Close to everything
- 3/5
The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel was very nice, overall. The complimentary breakfast was very good. But the pool was out of order, and I think that should have been made known to guests before check in or a slight refund issued. My children were very disappointed.
- 3/5
Really nice hotel and room. I would maybe stay again. The only downside was that the tub was clogged and my room was freezing. I literally slept with socks pants and a sweater. Never experienced that in a hotel before. Also seems like housekeeping didn’t change the toilet paper roll and basically kept the same roll from the previous customers. But I would give it a try again.
- 5/5
Rooms clean hotel was quiet.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 5/5
The harmony suites was great the rooms was clean the staff was great.. the complimentary breakfast was good the only 2 things you guys should know,as of right now the pool is not in use because of construction and there is a 150.00 credit or debit card hold on each room you book.. I think that should be said in the booking which it was not an issue but it good to know before hand.
- 4/5
Great room, spacious. Good breakfast. Would have liked more regular coffee in the room. Would have liked more shampoo, not enough for four of us.
- 5/5
We’ve stayed here before and the stay was nice, hotel is beautiful.. the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that wasn’t anything we would have used anyway so that wasn’t an issue. The only issue we had was a room on the 9th floor could have used better water pressure in the shower.. the breakfast was very good, many options..
- 5/5
Our stay was great. The staff was friendly
- 2/5
Hotel definitely has potential with better management of the rooms quality oversight and keeping their hotel information up to date. The rooms themselves are quite good in terms of space. Breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from. Hotel staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. Manager was very difficult to get to speak with and took approx 45minutes to have her come out and when out was very dismissive of their failure to inform of the pool.
- 3/5
Pool was not available and concierge were like robots
- 3/5
The People that was next door to me was obnoxious, Loud, blasting music, screaming, slamming doors all night till 630am .. it was rough to have a peaceful sleep.
- 3/5
Front desk staff were poorly trained and lacked personality. Parking is an absolute mess as there are no signs for hotel entrance once you enter the maze of parking, Parking security is questionable as there were many single 30 year olds driving around scoping the lot and groups smoking weed. Pool was closed with no advanced notification. Bathroom door in poor condition. only one coffee packet in room. Sticky floors in main traffic areas. The place has potential but has obvious poor management. The guy who takes breakfast tickets was nice, the omelet staff were efficient and the orange juice was full strength and not watered down for positive remarks.
- 5/5
Lots of choices for breakfast. The kids loved that the staff made waffles and omelets fresh in front of them.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
The hotel has a mildew problem. The whole hotel is obnoxiously smelling of mildew and carpet deodorizer. They moved us up two floors and it was less terrible. But we had to sleep in a whole hotel masking a major wetness problem. My wife had a migraine instantly, and that pretty much ruined the whole stay. Terrible. They tired to help but there is no helping the smell of this hotel.
- 3/5
Rooms definitely need an update. Beds were ok. Place had a weird smell when you walked in.
- 4/5
Check in and Check out were smooth. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. I only gave 4 stars because the pool was down for maintenance and we weren't made aware until we checked in. We were looking forward to using the pool. And the small soaps/shampoos they provide in the room were so small - only one use for one person. But other than that, the location of the hotel was great, staff was friendly and room was good.
- 5/5
Room was neat, staff was amazingly helpful. Will be staying again for my next trip.
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 3/5
Clean room and very kind personnel
- 5/5
Clean room. Easy check in. Would stay again.
- 3/5
I selected this hotel because it had an indoor pool. However, upon checking-in, I found out the pool was closed for renovations. There was no mention of this on the hotel’s page and when I asked the front desk about being reimbursed/compensated for this inconvenience, they told me that there was nothing they could do since I had already checked in.
- 4/5
Breakfast menu was good
- 5/5
Clean property, convenient location and affordable price
- 5/5
Was was clean staff was friendly experience was very nice.
- 1/5
Place stunk
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 4/5
A
- 1/5
The pool was out of service amd no one xall to tell me that before i check in i book that hotel mainly for the pool for my son
- 4/5
This appears to be an old Embassy Suites that has been bought out. The rooms were clean, fairly quiet, staff was great. They do need to lay off the Indian oils/fragrance/air freshener. It’s really strong! People with allergies or sensitivity to smells such as myself or worse will have a hard time. I was thankful they provide a fan In the rooms but no access to fresh air as we could not open a window or anything.
- 5/5
Staff was nice and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was good. Location was great with easy access to the NJ Transit to take into NYC.
- 2/5
The hotel is old and in need of refreshment. Everything is outdated, visible wear and tear. The breakfast is basic, limited and every morning (4days) always the same. Staff is working hard to keep this hotel alive. The price for the holiday season is too high and it doesn’t reflect the condition of the property. Bathroom looks very old and unprofessionally maintained and fixed. Faucets, tab and vanity look like a bathroom in two star motel from 80s.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 3/5
Room cleaning was not done despite specific requests made.
- 3/5
The hotel and room smell like sewer.
- 5/5
Spacious room, great breakfast, convenient location
- 3/5
The pool was closed. There was no communication prior to our arrival about that. There were not enough bathroom supplies: shampoo, toilet paper ….
- 2/5
I think one a pool is used as an amenity then it should be working or it should be listed on the website is not working. I live nearby and got this place for my daughter’s birthday because she wanted to go swimming and the pool was under some issue.
- 4/5
Front desk really friendly, fitness center, breakfast buffet
- 5/5
Great place to stay while visiting NYC without paying the high prices in the city. Food options in & near the hotel. Bus stop across the street that takes you right into NYC. Rooms are very roomy. Breakfast has amazing options & the service is phenomenal. Will definitely stay again!!
- 5/5
Room was clean, team members were kind and respecful. My family loved the time we spend at Harmony Suites.
- 5/5
Staff helpful. Hotel very clean. Rooms are spacious. Buffet breakfast is nice. We have stayed at this hotel four times as it is easy to access the NYC by uber, bus or train. Only draw back was the pool was not functioning.
- 4/5
People were friendly. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Soundproof Room was comfortable, near elevator but didn't hear a thing! Buffet breakfast is a plus!
- 5/5
Good value for the price. But house keeping is only done upon request.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice
- 5/5
Excelente ubicación. Super cerca de Manhattan. Tiene estación de Transporte Público (Bus) frente al hotel que te lleva al centro de Manhattan bién rápido. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar en este hotel. Gracias!
- 5/5
Excellent service, breakfast and cleanliness.
- 3/5
Oficina sin función
- 4/5
Some of the breakfast items were not as hot as I think they should have been. Great variety and the coffee was good. Hotel room very clean. We had a king suite, very roomy. I appreciate the water bottles. I am not used to sleeping on a spring mattress.
- 5/5
The suites were spotless, spacious, and well appointed, making it easy to relax after a full day. The staff was consistently professional, friendly, and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure guests felt taken care of. The amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and well maintained. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and stress-free. Harmony Suites is a perfect choice whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service.
- 4/5
French fries for breakfast potatoes, that's a no. Perfumes to cover up the sewage smell, another no. The rooms were clean and neat, so there's that.
- 5/5
The front desk was really helpful specially the Hispanic lady.
- 3/5
The pool was under construction, which we were not aware of. Rooms were decent size but outdated.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
Pool is closed. Main reason for booking. They gave me the run around and wouldn’t let me cancel. Room was cozy. Sink water had pressure and toilet needed to be flushed twice
- 5/5
20-25 min. Bus ride to the time square port authority Buses run every 7-15 min. It was just amazing. I cannot wait to come again. I know exactly where I’m staying. This is it for me !!!!
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious and the staff delivered great service throughout our stay!
- 4/5
Negatives were the heating system/fan in the room which would kick on and off frequently regardless of the temperature setting, and the entirety of the hotel was very chilled, constant breeze throughout, making breakfast slightly uncomfortable but not terrible. Again would definitely stay here again. Direct bus to and from the New York port authority, bus stop right outside the hotel, and plenty of accessible restaurants and generic shopping stores all within walking distance.
- 3/5
The breakfast needs to be improved.
- 4/5
Good except for no short access to garage
- 2/5
Check in was bad - front desk couldn't find reservation at first, found out our room was not "2-bedroom", it was merely a separate bedroom and a living space that had a king bed in it with a pull out sofa that you could not pull out due to lack of space. They told us we should not need it anyway bc we only booked for 2 people. Normally, when I book rooms, I leave the 2 adult as the default, never knew they were charging by the person. They tried to charge extra for our little kids. Not happening. Would only give us breakfast tickets for 4 of us. Didn't have extra sheets/blankets, etc for pull out sofa, extremely rude, the lobby wreaked of sewage or something foul that was there the entire stay, indoor pool was closed, beds were uncomfortable, parking garage always wreaked of weed - workers etc going out there to smoke, people parked overnight in the 15 min parking spots for unloading. The list could go on. ONLY plus was the breakfast was good but very long lines for omelet and waffle stations.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, with cook to order eggs and waffles.
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly. Hotel could use some updates. Can hear the TV and conversations loud and clear from neighboring rooms.
- 3/5
The room had an awful smell and felt unclean.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean. Met most of our needs. Pool was closed our entire stay which sucked because we booked this because it had one. There was daily construction in a nearby room or area of the hotel that we could hear each morning as we were trying to sleep in, so that was the only downfall other than the pool. Other than that I’d consider booking again.
- 1/5
Horrible experience. I was the only customer in the room with three agents behind the counter.
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Clean and right across the street to the bus stop to NYC, breakfast included is a plus. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was limited and nothing special. Pillows were too high, not comfortable. Front desk service/reception is amazing.
- 1/5
They double charged me with my reservation even though I booked and paid through expedia, I had to call the hotel for my refund. Front Desk are rude- talking to their own language infront of guests.
- 5/5
Good breakfast, plenty of space for 3, but most of all right across the street from a bus stop that takes you straight into the port authority.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Staff are nice. The room is roomy and clean. Very Convenient to NY city.
- 3/5
Breakfast can be improved. Omelette station has no separation for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking utensils. They shall be separate to cater to broader group of people who are vegetarian or avoid meat for other reasons
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean, excellent breakfast options. The bus stop is right across the street, super convenient.
- 2/5
It would have been great to send updates on pool availability- kids were so excited and pool was not open.
- 5/5
All the good words!! Loved this place. Wonder staff. We had a couple issues (toilet backed up and needed more towels) and they were immediately resolved.
- 5/5
It was clean and curteous staff.
- 5/5
This was the perfect place for our stay. We had family business and the room was fabulous! The size was great. We had to use the extra pullout bed as a family member visited. It was very comfortable! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will be back!
- 3/5
The front desk staffs’ attitude should be improved! this is a common problem in New Jersey !
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Also staff is very helpful I’ll back ….!!!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Hotel is beautiful & clean
- 4/5
Fine
- 5/5
Excellent location for American Dream and Medieval Times. Kids loved it!!
- 5/5
With NJ Transit bus to NYC across the street, this is the best way to visit the city. Don't worry about coming back after a show or other late event, there is a bus back that leaves the Port Authority at 1am. The front desk can give you a schedule/website. They have a pool and fitness center but we did not get a chance to use them. The immediate are has several restaurants and shopping is nearby. We highly recommend!
- 5/5
Amazing room super big super clean. Big nice breakfast with great tea selections.
- 5/5
Room was great, location was great.
- 5/5
Clean, large space. Good breakfast
- 5/5
Staff very courteous and helpful. Great breakfast with custom omelette station. Bus to NYC very easy and convenient, about $10 round trip per person to Port Authority and ran about every 15-20 minutes. Rooms were clean and extremely spacious.
- 5/5
Yes room was clean and staff was nice
- 5/5
The stay was very nice, the customer service was awesome. Hats off to Het who worked on the front desk and made sure we enjoyed our stay in Secaucus.
- 5/5
Awesome for family
- 3/5
Include a security deposit before getting to the hotel under special instructions
- 5/5
The breakfast was very good. It included an omelet station and waffle station.
- 4/5
Staff was nice
- 4/5
Front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was subpar. Quality of products was poor. Had an omelette that I was unable to eat. Oatmeal was watery. Coffee was VERY weak. Would stay at hotel again but would not get their breakfast.
- 4/5
Yes, everything was good!
- 1/5
The room say SOUND PROOF. Not true you can hear the elevators stopping on different floors. Construction started outside my window 7:50AM. I called the front desk and they said its not at the hotel its Construction in the parking lot. I video tape them at my window and the lady said oh I will let the manager know. If you stay on the weekend like i did prepare to hear kids running the hallways. When i checked in im thinking it wouldn't be bad because we have sound proof rooms. NOT. The breakfast is precooked so its not hot. Only thing thats cook in front of you is eggs & waffles which was good. I don't know if it wss just my room but the room had little gnats in the bathroom bad. Only thing I enjoyed is the location which have tons on restaurants in the vicinity.
- 4/5
Decent variety for breakfast. Breakfast area set up was efficient and clean.
- 5/5
EXCELLENT. best of the best. i loved .
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay! The rooms did need to be revamped but overall area was great!
- 5/5
Clean room and good costumer service! thank you for everything!!!
- 5/5
outdated but enjoyed the space
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
This was the second time we stayed here, and the staff is friendly and the room was clean
- 2/5
On the plus side, breakfast was simple but good. It smelled nice the moment you walked in the hotel.
- 5/5
Facile d'accès et facile de prendre le transport en commun pour aller a Manhattan.
- 3/5
Aside from that, the entire place is very outdated. The common areas exude a sort of vintage charm, but the rooms are a bit depressing and could benefit greatly from a coat of light-coloted paint instead of the drab, old wallpaper. The plumbing was decent, though, and the staff were AMAZING. Customer service here is really good, and the location is hard to beat at this price point if your goal is to be at American Dream like ours was. I happen to love the charmingly outdated vibes everywhere except for the rooms. The wallpaper really brought the entire look of the room down. I'd even be happier to sleep on the terrible beds again if they would just update the walls in the rooms! If you're on a budget, I would say this place isn't too bad. Just make sure you adjust your expectations. And DONT SLEEP ON THE PULL-OUT BED. It's much more comfortable if you just sleep on the couch as-is.
- 5/5
The property, room and breakfast was A+. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I will definitely return with my family.
- 3/5
I booked 2 Queen beads and they were actually full size beds. BE WARE!
- 1/5
What’s even more disappointing is the hotel’s response: a generic “We’re sorry to hear that.” For a property that claims to be 4-star, this level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I expected higher standards, genuine concern, and corrective action—not empty apologies. This experience has left us deeply frustrated and regretful.
- 4/5
Great stay. Wish the beds were a bit bigger, at least a queen size. Breakfast options were great. Great location in Jersey; easy access to NYC by bus.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, and my online reservation went smoothly without any issues. The breakfast was basic but well-organized and without limitations. Overall, a cozy and friendly place — I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
The first room smelled like sewage. Then came the screams of the family next to us traumatizing her children. I won’t stay here again. The lobby smells like idk what that is not pleasant. You can be fooled like me or simply not reservar here.
- 4/5
The hotel has a good location, and a lot of stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had various food options. The only thing that would keep me away from giving this hotel an "Excellent" rating is not-so-comfy sleeper sofa. The mattress was too thin for the metal bars that were holding ot up. Other than that, all was great.
- 5/5
Good location, excellent service, good food
- 2/5
You can that the hotel is old because of the smell. The pool looks dirty as the color is green. We checked the next day and still the same color. The room towels smells like burn. Thankful that we stay only one night.
- 5/5
Our second time staying at Harmony Suites! it’s very convenient with free parking and the bus stop to manhattan is right outside the hotel. Staff is very friendly and rooms are very clean!
- 5/5
The roo. Was better and bigger than expected.
- 5/5
Clean and Great location.
- 3/5
but mostly and I am not the only one, they need to do something with ventilation. In the morning the smell of food in the rooms. Clothes smell like food. I requested in advance a high floor because of this . They did not even acknowledge my request
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast - easy to go by bus to New York city (Bus Terminal Authority - downtown) by taking the bus no 320 in front of the hotel. To come back at the hotel, you take the same bus 320 (zone 3) at the Bus Terminal Authority gate 314
- 4/5
Clean room, great skyline view. Staff was attentive
- 4/5
Room was very clean. We also loved how spacious it was. Perfect for a family. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, and the hotel was immaculate will definitely recommend harmony suites.
- 3/5
I was pleased with the size of our room, but the comfort of the beds was subpar. The beds were extremely hard and two days later I am still feeling the soreness from sleeping on their bed.
- 5/5
Yes. Perfect
- 5/5
As described!
- 5/5
Breakfast was also a great surprise
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was great. Good location and conveniently close to MetLife Stadium.
- 4/5
The rooms are nice and spacious, which is why I loved it there. I don't like feeling crammed. They are pet friendly. We had our two dogs and they had plenty of room to move around.
- 4/5
The room was located next to the elevator, so it was quite noisy. Other than that, everything was good.
- 4/5
Room clean, spacious, no unpleasant oder, parking easy, good breakfast with a vegan vegetable omlete. Only thing missing was no herbal tea in room or lobby when I came in at night.
- 2/5
Have not received the security deposit back yet! Has been almost 2 weeks since we checked out.
- 2/5
I had bug bite
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Clean room, staff during Christmas were amazing housekeeping very helpful. Staff at the front desk or friendly.
- 3/5
Breakfast was not good and the room was not the cleanest but the transportation was good.
- 5/5
Older hotel in pristine condition. in the 80s you know this was THE place to stay and it still has cool retro vibes. Rooms are extremely clean. Great staff-friendly. Yummy free brekkie and great location. Allow dogs to be left in room, bonus. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
the bacon was soaking in oil, the potatoes are not fresh fried from frozen fries. No fresh fruits just apples and oranges, would be nice some fresh fruits. Oatmeal very watered down
- 5/5
nice place
- 5/5
Breakfast was typical, had limited but ok options. They served the same menu everyday and had a live omelette and Waffles counter. The staff are incredibly helpful.
- 5/5
We love staying at Harmony Suites. It's close to Metlife Stadium, good restaurants close by and shopping. I always feel safe and that means a lot to me
- 5/5
The room was super comfortable and spacious, although the shower never really got hot enough to be comfortable. The bathroom sink had nice hot water, but the shower didn’t. The girl at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting public transportation instead of an uber/lyft to get to Lincoln center. We had dinner reservations and opera tickets so we didn’t want to drive into New York City. Overall, we really enjoyed our brief stay!
- 5/5
Overall my experience was amazing. Everything was convenient for me and the area was great. I had a good time at this hotel and every one was so kind and helpful.
- 3/5
The room had a lingering odor or smell. The tub did not drain quickly while using the shower (water rose to ankles).
- 4/5
The rooms are nice and spacious, I love the separate “living room” area with the couch. It’s not common to have this much space in a hotel room like this. The room was clean but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Staff was nice and efficient.
- 5/5
Was excelent.
- 4/5
Rooms are large, they are dated but felt clean. If you don't mind an older hotel you'll be pleased with Harmony
- 4/5
Very clean, beautiful plants, efficient service at breakfast.
- 4/5
But everything else was good Close to NYC Great spot for kids
- 5/5
The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good and fresh.
- 5/5
Nice place, close to NY downtown.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean - we booked 2 queens and a sofa bed - we received a king and sofa bed - I paid for extra guest $20 per night since I only booked 2 originally - . since we did not know exact number who could attend the convention. Went to get more tickets for breakfast for the extra people I had paid for and they said I had to pay an additional $15 per person per night for them to have the complimentary breakfast we argued to 3 different front desk people, but nothing - though when 2 of our people went to eat breakfast the man taking tickets let us all in for breakfast and was very kind and accommodating. So our staff was great - bus stop right there to go into the city - restaurants close to eat - would stay there again.
- 4/5
Okay
- 5/5
very
- 5/5
Close to the stadium. Love the two rooms.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet room. Staff are friendly. The transportation is really convenient to Manhatton, very perfect for traveling in NYC
- 4/5
Breakfast Eggs were really bad
- 5/5
Great place, good parking & location
- 3/5
Very basic breakfast, no vegetables at all, omelette is made from some processed mixture, not eggs (impossible to eat). The rooms are spacious, but old. Bed linen is not ironed. 4 stars is a joke. Looks like the hotel was great 30 years ago, but not any more.
- 5/5
Room was clean check in was fast
- 5/5
We enjoyed the stay! Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean. We would highly recommend.
- 4/5
The breakfast was a full complementary
- 5/5
Looked amazing
- 5/5
Excelente ubicación, personal muy amable, buen desayuno y muy accesible. La estación del bus que nos llevaba a NY, esta al frente
- 4/5
Everything was fabulous. I did not give 5 stars because it does need updating.
- 5/5
Nice location and comfortable rooms
- 1/5
Shower did not work or have hot water Sheets smelled like cigarette smoke
- 5/5
Everything was perfect down to the breakfast in the morning. Wished they offered pancakes or French toast
- 5/5
Rooms are very spacious. Convenient location.
- 4/5
It was great. We went to a NFL game and did some new york tourist stuff. The room was great. Warning though if adding people to your room its $20 a day for each adult. And $15 for each breakfast. Breakfast was good especially for the size of the place it was smooth.
- 5/5
Harmony suites will always exceed my expectatione
- 5/5
Exceeded our expectations. Large rooms, updated, clean and fresh, this hotel is our new goto when visiting nearby NYC. The hotel itself is great, with free parking and breakfast bar. We also like that bus route 320 is right outside and gives you a quick trio over to NYC. Super convenient. Lastly, Ill point out that the staff at this hotel were constantly cleaning, so it never had time to get messy. There isn't daily room service, so if you need towels, just ask and they will bring them to you.
- 3/5
The stay was short but fine. Had everything we needed. Disappointed that we ordered a room w two queen beds and they were clearly doubles.
- 5/5
Amei e pretendo voltar logo
- 5/5
Groomers clean staff was friendly shops nearby unbelievable restaurants unbelievable will definitely visit again
- 4/5
Have stayed here before and will stay again. Good dining options within walking distance.
- 5/5
The area is full of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Wonderful stay
- 2/5
The room was dated in furnishings and conditions. I was checked into a accessibility room which I specifically didn't ask for. The breakfast breakfast was mediocre. The hotel location and size has potential but was not worth the money in its condition.
- 5/5
Forcing people to add stuff to this part is really annoying.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Clean room, nice breakfast
- 5/5
very nice 2 sinks
- 5/5
Great stay for NYC visit without the chaos of being in the city. Strip mall & lots of restaurants near by. Good location, amazing breakfast & clean! We used Uber to go to/from NYC.
- 5/5
Excellent stuff
- 4/5
Hotel was convenient
- 5/5
Breakfast buffet was good.
- 3/5
Issues were the rooms smell old/musty like the carpet or furniture smells. Employees were just “ok” on the friendly/welcoming stand point. The bar was closed the entire time we were there.
- 5/5
What a gem of a hotel! It’s absolutely the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to stay in NYC! The 320 bus is right across the road and takes you into 42nd street in 20 minutes! The staff were fabulous and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and very clean and they provide all you need for your stay! The long area was an added bonus!! Will definitely stay there again if I find myself needing to be back in this area!
- 5/5
Loved that our suite was big and had 2 king size beds in its own room. Breakfast service was impressively good. Kudos to the breakfast staff making sure food is always available and keeping the surroundings very clean.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a very convenient location, the room was nice and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very nice stay beds were comfortable and clean
- 4/5
Nice convenient location. Great staff
- 3/5
Stayed for a concert. Excellent shuttle service!! The room was a bit runned down, furniture was definitely dated and worn. The bed was extremely hard.
- 5/5
Diferent, good service and clean
- 4/5
Downsides: shower leaked continuously and we had to call the maintenance man twice one because it would not heat up the water and once because it would not shut off. The breakfast - while nice, was lacking some vegetables and had the exact same selection every morning which got boring after a while - waffle fries (fried food), meat (sausage) (fried food), bacon (fried food), apples (no taste), oranges (ok), yoghurt, oat porridge (absolutely disgusting), eggs on demand (no taste), waffles (the only good thing on the menu), cereal, milk, and coffee and juices. (oh, and bread and some pastries which were hit and miss - one of the pastries was so full of baking powder I could taste it!) Good sides, quite affordable, loads of eateries within 5 mins and a massive wallmart nearby. I think if I knew what Wallmart had to offer, I wouldn't have paid $15/pp for breakfast. Other good sides: quick to offer extra towels when needed and teas and coffees.
- 4/5
Close to everything; Manhattan, Dreamworks,etc.
- 3/5
It’s sufficient for a stay. Nothing terrible. Room was clean but definitely an older hotel.
- 5/5
Second time staying here and it was once again great. Convenient to the city...just a short bus ride to Port Authority and then a train ride to Yankee Stadium. Would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Our room was very loud being directly across from the elevators. I also asked for water at the front desk, and was told that if we had the room cleaned we would have gotten two bottles of water then.
- 5/5
I love this hotel and they have an amazing breakfast. I am planning to come back in the near future
- 5/5
Beautiful area and hotel
- 5/5
Good Customer Service
- 1/5
The Staff Was Very Rude Including The Head Manager….That She Called Herself!!!! Her Name Was Eumi or Something!!!! I Constantly Asked Her To Speak To Someone Higher Than Her Like The CEO or Owner…. She Refused To Give Me A Name or Number!!!! She Then Replied That She Owned The Hotel and Got Mad Asking Me and My Family To Leave Her Hotel!!!! Even Though We Had Already Had A Paid Stay and Reservation!!!!! I Was Very Disappointed and Upset…. “I Will NEVER STAY AT HARMONY SUITES IN SECAUCUS AGAIN” and Will Never Recommend Any Of My Family,Friends or Business Colleagues To Stay There!!!! They Even Rushed Everyone Out After Breakfast At 11a.m Leaving Nowhere For You To Sit or Do Any Work Accept In Your Room or This Small Business Area That They Had…..
- 3/5
Place was very nice! But food was so bad I gave it 3 stars! Very cheap quality food
- 3/5
Don't like: bathroom problems, no hot water. Room changed, bathtub dirty and clogged. They have maintenance issues
- 5/5
Great check in!!
- 5/5
I was able to check in at 2pm, which was very helpful. Front desk was friendly. The location is quite walkable with restaurants and some stores close by. Quiet too.
- 1/5
The workers make you feel like you are being watched all of the time especially at breakfast time. The manager is very rude, disrespectful and narcissistic. She doesn’t want people to talk back or express their opinion, if you do she cancels your stay. She watches everything and every movement. Not friendly or inviting. Even has a problem if you ask for extra blankets, counts towels, toilet tissue, etc. I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN !!!
- 5/5
Second time staying there, super close to lots of places, bus stop across the street as well
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Nice having food choices in Walkable distance. Very quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Very neat repes were knowledgeable and respectful
- 5/5
Very impressive the breakfast was wonderful
- 5/5
This is our second time staying at this hotel. The service is great, hotel is clean and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants. Highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, the bed could have been a little more comfortable but it was ok,The furniture was outdated. Overall great stay though. I would give a 4 out of 4 star.
- 4/5
Overall, a positive experience. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Great location for what we needed. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The rooms were okay. Customer service was horrible. The way some of the managers treated their workers was despicable to see. Also, I dont like how heavily breakfast was monitored.
- 4/5
The rooms were extremely clean and there was a lot of space. Comfortable beds. Parking was challenging at times. Excellent access to the Port Authority station. The only real negative was the breakfast. We had it on the first day but not for the remaining two days. Nothing positive to say about the food offered.
- 4/5
Was a very quiet hotel. Nice location and easy to get to NYC
- 5/5
A great place to stay had a suite with 2 bedrooms for me and my brother and we had plenty of space!
- 4/5
They were great accommodating my two corgis. And the room was very quiet.
- 5/5
Now the issues were very slow and spotty wifi the bed was very uncomfortable for me. I kept tossing and turning and had sores in the morning. I woke up at 350am to the banging sounds of trash removal which made no sense at that time. I stayed here to get to a concert at Met Life and it was easy to drive to from the hotel and return. There is also a shuttle service for $50 round trip if you just want to hop on and off. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting the stadium.
- 4/5
I thought the hotel room itself was wonderful and it was great having two king beds in their own separate areas. The hotel could definitely use some updating in terms of dated decor but overall it was comfy and clean. I was only staying for one night so I didn’t need to have anything super fancy for such a short time period. It was in a great location and had a bunch of different options for dining within walking distance. I also really appreciated that they offer a shuttle service to and from Met Life Stadium for events. It was an extra fee but so much easier than driving and dealing with parking myself.
- 5/5
For the price, it is excellent and we can't complain, breakfast included and parking included which is a blessing around NYC area, all the other hotels and stays were much more expensive, the suites were spacious and good for a short family stay!
- 5/5
Only thing we didn’t like was that the shower didn’t drain properly. Also the first day we arrived it had a STRONG cleaning solution smell that made it really uncomfortable to be out in the lobby area. It dissipated as the days went by but the cleaning products have a very strong odor.
- 5/5
Spacious, comfortable, clean, free parking, lots of things nearby, great breakfast
- 5/5
Improve on TV
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Room had a water leak staff was great switched are rooms had it fixed immediately but breakfast is not free as advertised Wich was horrible with the price being so high along with the breakfast being horrible
- 3/5
Check in was ok only downfall is that you can’t eat in your room might as well stay at your mother house with the ridiculous rules
