Great location on bus route to NYC. Helpful staff. Water was like warm in shower and little pressure. No shuttle to airport.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Both times have been a great experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and it is close to many restaurants.

Everything was very clean. There was free parking in a parking garage behind the building. The shower had sliding glass door rather than a shower door. This prevented water from spilling onto the floor.

I highly recommend this hotel! I have 3 night stay here, the location is very nice and close to groceries, restaurants and highways. The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is free and convenient. I’m impressed by the room, it’s big enough and comfortable.

Besides the cleanness and the politeness of the staff, the hotel need to improve in the parking area. A suggestion, offer breakfast free

Breakfast menu was not good, walls so thin my 10 year old is now asking about inappropriate sounds and noises, wallpaper falling off walls, and popcorn ceilings from 1999. There was also water stains on the ceilings. Absolutely not expected from a hotel that costed over $300 for one night

The places and location is amazing, the staff is really helpful and welcoming. The only bad side you can said it’s that does not include breakfast which I will be willing do pay a little more for the option , it does however have a coffee bar downstairs Starbucks type and it’s great. Convenient location Police were swarmed in the lobby when we arrived so to a domestic disturbance. Hallways smelled. Room was clean, but next to elevator and we heard every elevator ride. Couple was fighting in the hallway from 3 to 4 am. Could hear baby crying in next room.

Everyone was very helpful. It was all very clean. And the area is perfect for shopping and eating out!

I loved my room… it was comfortable and stylish! I wanted a room with a better view. The lady at the counter gave me a room facing the parking lot so I asked for something a little higher up with a better view.

The customer service was nice but sadly the stay was not. There was no hot water in the shower, there were no coffee cups only lids, there was also hair on the sheets, wall, sink and shower. Unfortunately we will not be using this hotel again.

The hotel was excellent, and the included parking was a great bonus. Its location is very convenient for traveling to Manhattan, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby in Union City. We didn’t try the hotel’s breakfast since it’s offered through Starbucks, so I can’t comment on that.

We were in room #331 avoid that room, it was clean and the ac works good BUT around 1am woke up couldn’t sleep because it smelled like sewer smell very bad like rotten eggs. Thanks god for the Vicks I was able to sleep few hours.

Quick access to NYC!!! Only stayed one night to attend activity in NYC without the hassle of finding parking in NYC.

Last time i was in the area i stood at this hotel and it didn't disappoint again. Location is ideal and the room was exactly what we needed

However, the overall experience didn’t match the high cost. The property felt dated, with old furniture and no breakfast option provided, which made the price hard to justify. If location is your top priority and cost isn’t a concern, it might work for you. Otherwise, the value for money just isn’t there.

Desk staff friendly and helpful. Commuting to NYC from property was easy.

The staff here were so kind! This was the first hotel I have stayed at in many years that actually came to the room and took the trash & linens during my stay and I didn’t have to call to ask. The location was amazing, and the room was clean.

Perks of the stay: The king sized bed was my favorite part. The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. Not so great: The water in the shower stayed cold, but for two nights, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Also, the room had a damp smell to it, but I think that was due to the air conditioning unit. Overall, I would give this a four out of five stars.

The parking is a public lot! Dark scary and under construction. The lobby had fans and smelled like mold.

Lights were very dim and room was not as clean as it should be. Had to switch as room and the cleaning staff locked menout of my bathroom when cleaning. Bathroom was dirty and i had to coach the staff on how a clean bathroom should be. No many amenities either. Wouldn't go back

Made a reservation while driving from Virginia around 830pm and a few minutes later, a friend offered me a place to stay, I immediately tried to cancel and was denied by the hotel and Expedia, $207 lost in 10 min. I will NEVER book through Expedia again or stay at this hotel. I’m a disabled veteran and you couldn’t even make an exception. Ridiculous. Just throwing away money!! And I’m a Marriot Bonvoy member, for what, I have no idea. You’ve lost my business

Bathroom needed updating. I’ve stayed in better Courtyard Marriott’s.

I didn't love that the typical morning, lobby coffee isn't available unless you purchase it. I don't care about the $4.00. It's just that even much cheaper hotels typically have free coffee in the mornings. The little coffee maker in the room is ok but a "real" cup of coffee in the morning is better.

Extremely convenient for transport to and from midtown Manhattan. Perfect for our stay.

Convenient area to stay. Surrounded by restaurants. The elevator in the parking lot was broken which was an inconvenience. We had to carry out luggage up and down the stairs.

I only stay at Marriotts so I was a little upset going into this one. When going up to our room we could not get the door open. It took about 12 minutes for us to get into the room every time we left. Also the bathtub needs to be reseaaled. It’s peeling and chipping.

I loved the area in which this was located! Staff was super friendly and the amenities were fantastic!

Our family liked it, the room was clean and the staff was pleasant.

It’s been twenty plus years since I’ve been here. Defiantly a pleasure being back; the upgrades are a nice chic atmosphere. Every member was super nice and accommodating. Only thing I didn’t check for upon booking was if there was a microwave in the room, unfortunately it wasn’t. However, because the staff is so welcoming the trip to heat up food is still a pleasant one.

Very comfortable room. Close to great shopping & dining options. We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Secaucus very much.

had a good stay everything was close by and also close to travel to the city , I drove to time square Bronx queens and all the way back to hotel. Also was like 5 mins away from American dream , Walmart is across the street Red Robin’s so many options close dominoes 5 mins away

The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurants around the area were perfect! Just two things: there were cat food in my room and the internet didn’t seem to work well.

we had hockey game at the American Dream Mall and this hotel was excellent, many dining choices, easy parking, nice rooms, highly recommend

The room was clean and spacious. I loved check out at 12. Close to a lot of eateries and the American Dream Mall.

There was a hole in the wall of the room and the room was dingy.

Up for a trip up to New York City, it was nice having the bus stop right next to the hotel and the covered garage was very nice during inclement weather. Room was clean and beds were comfortable, thermostat kept things comfy and everything was pretty much as it should be. The gentleman who helped us with breakfast next morning was very pleasant and we would definitely stay here again. Very nice front desk staff.

My family and I had a great stay. The staff were excellent from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Only drawback was the parking situation but even that wasn't too bad. Great location, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast items they had for sale were very good as well.

Made reservation but did not get the room I requested and nothing was done to accomodate the situation. They said since I booked through Expedia that was the room I asked for and it was not.

Great option to avoid city prices and traffic. The bus stop to Times Square is steps from the front door of the hotel. It’s less than a 10 min drive to the American Dream mall. The property is a little dated but relatively clean and comfortable. No frills.

The hotel staff was great as was the room. The only problem was only one elevator was working. On the weekend it can make for long waits. Otherwise great stay.
