Nice hotel and the area had nice shops and restaurants

My stay was okay overall, and the staff was friendly and helpful during my visit. However, I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that the hotel was undergoing renovations, as this impacted the experience more than expected. I also think the hotel could be clearer about their guest policies before booking, as this information would have been helpful to know in advance.

The hallway had a musty smell to it, the residents were loud and noisy, the elevator stopped working and I had luggage that I had to carry down stairs from the 3rd floor my room had a sore smell and it was literally coming from the garbage disposal.

This is not a very well kept property, stains on the elevator floor old carpets that are tore up door jams that are in such a way that allows you to be able to see through into a room.

The hotel was great the only problem i had was getting my receipt for my stay i was told I had to get it from expedia and expedia said I had to get from the hotel because I paid at the hotel it took 24 hours to get the receipt

On Saturday night, the hotel allowed guests to hang out and party and listen to Latin music, I would be pissed if it was 70s rock 'n' roll, but they did so until 1 AM. I tried to go to sleep at 9 PM. The hotel elevator did not work at all. They Travelocity or Expedia site that I booked the room through said that they had breakfast. Their breakfast consisted of coffee, oatmeal, two tangerines, one banana and about eight apples. There was no breakfast. Plus, with the elevator being out of service, it was an absolute chore, taking things up and down the steps to the second floor even. I was cooking in a barbecue contest and needed to sauté some butter garlic and tried to do so on their "stove" and it barely got warm and did not even melt. The tilein the bathroom was coming up and the grout would come up with your foot when you stepped on it. The room itself has plenty of space, and uncomfortable sofa, a comfortable recliner, a so so comfortable bed, but I doubt very seriously if I would ever stay there again. I have been much happier at home2suites, comfort suites, and other hotels in the area. on a scale of one to 10, I would score at 3.5. The hotel clearly has potential, but it is not kept well and most times I had to go down every day and get coffee for my room and half the time when I tried to do that, there was no one stationed at the front desk. So, going up and down the steps to request. Coffee was a pain in the ass. OK, I will change my grade to a 3.0. Sorry!

Great location

No ice machine! Was told to use the one in frig. It took 2 hours to get a few cubes. Went to McDonald’s for ice.

There were lots of options to shops and restaurants. While we were there the elevator went down twice. It was back up within a few hours but it was inconvenient having to carry out luggage up to the 3rd floor.

Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Customer service was horrible. They canceled my room day of because they were over booked. Then after calling and talking, they had a room I could stay in. Then, they said I lived “too close” to the hotel to rent a room. And, they gave no refund. Would never stay here again.

I couldnt sleep because people were yelling outside my window all night playing music in another language. Front staff didnt care called them twice nothing changed.

The elevator wasn't working, the bathroom tiles were loss and unlevel, the bed didn't have a skirt around the box springs, the room had smoke smell. I wouldn't recommend.

The hotel was filthy. The elevator was not working. Our room was extremely humid. The carpet was damp and you would slide when you stepped from carpet to tile. The room smelled musty and moldy. Just a horrible experience.

Bathroom was nasty and poorly stocked. Not a very clean facility.

Rooms were great! Clean, full-sized fridge, kitchen supplies, etc. Very roomy and comfortable.

No not really One issue I had was my first day here as I was going to bed I noticed a blood stain on the pillow case. I were to tired and exhausted to call the front desk. Just put the pillow to the side and didn¿t think nothing else about it.

I didn’t like that the shower was not clean. We did not have any dishes in the room. They gave someone else a key to our room. Also they didn’t have many small towels.

Was there for 3 days. Staff was friendly. Got more than as i expected for a room. Would differently stay again. Hallway carpet may need a shampooing within the next month.

I lloved my stay here. It is in an excellent location, the room was clean and I lloved the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and the staff was very nice.

Not sure about neighborhood seems that shopping center is mostly closed or closing

Hotel was not clean enough for me. There was mold in the corner of the shower.....easily cleaned with bleach.

Room was fine. Hotel advertised breakfast but did not have it. Not even coffee machine working. Location in middle of suburban parking lots and box stores.

The grout in the shower was grungy, small bath towels, no toiletries. There was a coffee maker (a new one) and coffee but no creamer or sweetener packets.

Nice property! Very friendly receptionist. Asked for 3 extra pillows before we went to eat. She had them waiting on us when we came back. Clean, safe, easy parking, close to several restaurants. Would stay here again.

It was very close to the Memphis airport, which is why I stayed there. Shopping and dining is very close to the hotel. Toilet seal in floor leaked. Chair in seating area was torn/very worn. Those were the things that were negative.

The clerk gave my room away and wouldn't even discount my stay. I was so upset.

The room was not clean with construction dust on the bathroom baseboards where a towel bar was replaced. The wall was not repainted. Tissue was stuck in the bathroom handle rather than a lock. The carpet was old and nasty. There were bed bugs.

My husband had even called the hotel earlier that day, and everything was fine for a late checkin, he was told.

I found this hotel left me very uneasy. I did not feel entirely safe. The lobby was clear and the staff was friendly, but the tenants around us were loud and moving in and out of rooms all night every night of our stay. The window coverings didnt fully cover the window and the door didnt fully seal. The beds seemed clean but there was a fully exposed box spring with no cover on it (which seemed weird).

There where other guests with complaints of bugs in there rooms also

Love the staff and the area it’s by everything and you can walk to it . Now the hotel needs to go floor by floor and do a renovation/ remodel the location is amazing and a plus but the hotel needs a major upgrade asap

I didn't like the surprise fee for my pet's 75 bucks. I booked the room and said I had two dog's no mention of a fee. That fee was more than half of what the room cost. Absolutely ridiculous. I get a 20 fee but 75 outrageous.

The hotel lobby was clean, great location, but my room, not so much. The 1st room that was given to me had water and bubbles all over the floor due to a broken dishwasher. When i was assigned to a new room, is reeked for cigarette smoke, one if the beds were lopsided, the bathroom had hair all over the floor and tub. Furthermore, there was trash on the floor on the sides of the beds; which tells me housekeeping is lazy and is rushing on cleaning these rooms. I’ve stayed here before in the past, and I had no issues, but looks like this hotel is becoming ran down. I probably wont be back next time.

No real food available and the halls were dirty

The front desk was super friendly and helpful! I can’t say anything bad about her. However, the room was disgusting! It had water damage, boogers on the wall, the toilet felt like it was going to fall apart and it reeked of weed! It was seeping through our room door and we had to smell it all night. I don’t think I would stay here again.

The staff was very inattentive and it took several times to get a correct key to work. I booked a king and got a queen room. The smell of weed was all in the halls constantly and neighbors surrounding my room were loud and in and out of their rooms all night.

The property needs to be renovated in general. The door did not lock and we had to ask for a different room. There was no hand wash soap in the room. When asked they could not find it and they gave us a diluted bottle with only a little in the bottle.

The property was in the heart of a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The staff was courteous and handled things within a timely manner. The only downfall was that we saw a couple very large roaches towards the end of our stay as well as a spider. Small pest issue but overall great stay at the hotel

Candlewood Suites are usually a very nice hotel to stay at. This one left a little to be desired. Check in was not very friendly and not informative. The guy behind the plastic screen was very soft spoken and very hard to hear what he was saying. The cabinets in the room were bare. No kitchen wares at all. I asked at the front desk and the guy said that if I wanted anything that I had to call housekeeping. Upon checking out, I could not get a receipt printed. The gal behind the desk said that her printer was not working and that she could not email me my receipt. Kind of need a receipt for a business trip. Overall, pretty disappointing stay.

There were only 3 spoons, 3 forks and 1 knife. No spatula. Also utensils were not suitable to cook. There was no hand soap and it was out of stock. Can you believe this.

My non smoking room smelled like smoke, bugs in the room, phones in the room didnt work, why is the pool heated in 100 degree weather outside, hallways were nasty, no breakfast as stated before I booked.

This property was very disappointing. Having a 4 star review, I was completely let down once walking onto the elevator. You can tell that they are completely short staffed and that the property has no had a good cleaning. Room was very musty and dirty and the air was not cooling our room. I asked the front desk, in which only one person was working, and they told me to use the panel....had to go to a local store to buy a fan to help cool the room off. The next day, my husband goes back to the front desk telling them that our air did not cool our room all night and something needed to be done. We were only then switched to another room.

It was horrible the hotel had roaches, and the water backed up in the shower the curtains have stains on them, then the walls had paint chips. The Microwave was dirty the hallways needed vacuum there were kids running in and out of the exercise room at 1 o’clock at night I would not be staying again

There was red splashes of something all over the room. Every single dish was dirty. No toilet paper. The room above us had contractors in it with two little children who literally stomped the whole three days. The hotel was booked so they did nothing about it. I drove 935 miles just to not get any sleep on this trip and paid over $600

Honestly , the pictures for this property are very deceiving. Overall cleanliness was horrible. Very run down hotel. One guy at the front desk was very nice but most of the time the front is left unattended. Would not recommend anyone stay here.

Nice place off the main road by the mall. Easy to get to. Small parking lot. Nice staff. TV was average. Like most hotels the pillows sucked. Not the nicest one I've stayed in. Hotel is under new management, Karen walks the premises harassing people in their cars.

Unfortunately the stay did not live up to the rating. The room was not clean. The doors had handprints all over them. The bathroom toilet had urine on the rim of the bowl that had not been cleaned from the previous person staying. There were no utensils and the coffee cups were not cleaned. It felt uncomfortable and I had a terrible night sleep bc of it.

The indoor pool was closed with no notice, just a sign on the door. The room was mostly clean, but the bathroom floor was pretty dirty.

First y’all need to check your rooms Good because when I open up the draw in the kitchen looking for plastic wear because I no ain’t nobody using silver due to Covid y’all had a folk in there that looks like dried up bbq. Sauce on the folk who want to use that that let me no y’all didn’t even wash them bad deal I will never stay here again they had people fighting on the elevator so we had to use stairs keep in mind I’m on the fourth floor people smoking black and mild which was so Damn Stanky ass hell that silver wear really pissed me off

My room in 206 wasnt clewn and the stove didnt even work the bathroom had black dirt around the tube the carepet had dried up votmiting
