    My stay was okay overall, and the staff was friendly and helpful during my visit. However, I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that the hotel was undergoing renovations, as this impacted the experience more than expected.     The hallway had a musty smell to it, the residents were loud and noisy, the elevator stopped working and I had luggage that I had to carry down stairs from the 3rd floor my room had a sore smell and it was literally coming from the garbage disposal.

    This is not a very well kept property, stains on the elevator floor old carpets that are tore up door jams that are in such a way that allows you to be able to see through into a room.

    On Saturday night, the hotel allowed guests to hang out and party and listen to Latin music, I would be pissed if it was 70s rock 'n' roll, but they did so until 1 AM. I tried to go to sleep at 9 PM. The hotel elevator did not work at all. They Travelocity or Expedia site that I booked the room through said that they had breakfast. Their breakfast consisted of coffee, oatmeal, two tangerines, one banana and about eight apples. There was no breakfast. Plus, with the elevator being out of service, it was an absolute chore, taking things up and down the steps to the second floor even. I was cooking in a barbecue contest and needed to sauté some butter garlic and tried to do so on their "stove" and it barely got warm and did not even melt. The tilein the bathroom was coming up and the grout would come up with your foot when you stepped on it. The room itself has plenty of space, and uncomfortable sofa, a comfortable recliner, a so so comfortable bed, but I doubt very seriously if I would ever stay there again. I have been much happier at home2suites, comfort suites, and other hotels in the area. on a scale of one to 10, I would score at 3.5. The hotel clearly has potential, but it is not kept well and most times I had to go down every day and get coffee for my room and half the time when I tried to do that, there was no one stationed at the front desk. So, going up and down the steps to request. Coffee was a pain in the ass. OK, I will change my grade to a 3.0. Sorry!

    There were lots of options to shops and restaurants. While we were there the elevator went down twice. It was back up within a few hours but it was inconvenient having to carry out luggage up to the 3rd floor.

    Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Customer service was horrible. They canceled my room day of because they were over booked. Then after calling and talking, they had a room I could stay in. Then, they said I lived “too close” to the hotel to rent a room. And, they gave no refund. Would never stay here again.

    The elevator wasn't working, the bathroom tiles were loss and unlevel, the bed didn't have a skirt around the box springs, the room had smoke smell. I wouldn't recommend.

    I found this hotel left me very uneasy. I did not feel entirely safe. The lobby was clear and the staff was friendly, but the tenants around us were loud and moving in and out of rooms all night every night of our stay. The window coverings didnt fully cover the window and the door didnt fully seal. The beds seemed clean but there was a fully exposed box spring with no cover on it (which seemed weird).

    The hotel lobby was clean, great location, but my room, not so much. The 1st room that was given to me had water and bubbles all over the floor due to a broken dishwasher. When i was assigned to a new room, is reeked for cigarette smoke, one if the beds were lopsided, the bathroom had hair all over the floor and tub. Furthermore, there was trash on the floor on the sides of the beds; which tells me housekeeping is lazy and is rushing on cleaning these rooms. I’ve stayed here before in the past, and I had no issues, but looks like this hotel is becoming ran down. I probably wont be back next time.

It had water damage, boogers on the wall, the toilet felt like it was going to fall apart and it reeked of weed! It was seeping through our room door and we had to smell it all night. I don’t think I would stay here again.

    The property needs to be renovated in general. The door did not lock and we had to ask for a different room. There was no hand wash soap in the room. When asked they could not find it and they gave us a diluted bottle with only a little in the bottle.

    Candlewood Suites are usually a very nice hotel to stay at. This one left a little to be desired. Check in was not very friendly and not informative. The guy behind the plastic screen was very soft spoken and very hard to hear what he was saying. The cabinets in the room were bare. No kitchen wares at all. I asked at the front desk and the guy said that if I wanted anything that I had to call housekeeping. Upon checking out, I could not get a receipt printed. The gal behind the desk said that her printer was not working and that she could not email me my receipt. Kind of need a receipt for a business trip. Overall, pretty disappointing stay.

    This property was very disappointing. Having a 4 star review, I was completely let down once walking onto the elevator. You can tell that they are completely short staffed and that the property has no had a good cleaning. Room was very musty and dirty and the air was not cooling our room. I asked the front desk, in which only one person was working, and they told me to use the panel....had to go to a local store to buy a fan to help cool the room off. The next day, my husband goes back to the front desk telling them that our air did not cool our room all night and something needed to be done. We were only then switched to another room.

    There was red splashes of something all over the room. Every single dish was dirty. No toilet paper. The room above us had contractors in it with two little children who literally stomped the whole three days. The hotel was booked so they did nothing about it. I drove 935 miles just to not get any sleep on this trip and paid over $600

    Unfortunately the stay did not live up to the rating. The room was not clean. The doors had handprints all over them. The bathroom toilet had urine on the rim of the bowl that had not been cleaned from the previous person staying. There were no utensils and the coffee cups were not cleaned. It felt uncomfortable and I had a terrible night sleep bc of it.
