    The front desk staff, really all the staff was very accommodating and polite! I didn’t expect to be checked in 4 hours early but went by to just see if there was a chance. They had rooms ready and allowed us to check in before we had to go to the baseball fields. Comfortable beds, very spacious rooms. The breakfast was also a good spread. We never got to use the pool due to storms, so I cannot comment on that. We have been to Southaven a few times now and this has been one of the better hotels we’ve stayed at. Will consider this hotel next time we come! Nothing to not fully like. I will say the parking lot gets full easy. The building and things inside could use some work, the place has definitely been well loved but it’s clean and still nicer than most. Just an older hotel in a high traffic area. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best.

    When I arrived, there was one person in front of me. It took approximately 15 to 20 minutes to take care of that one person. Then, when I got to my room,unfortunately I didn't notice till later that night, there was cleaner left in the tub. There were spots on the ceiling, worn carpet in the hall, grout peeling around the basin.

    The manager was outstanding! Allowed me to check in early and made some adjustments for me that really helped my situation. The staff at this hotel truly care about their customers and go above and beyond to accommodate each one as needed!

    Carpet by the window was soaking wet as well as the the back wall. Hotel stated they were full and couldn't move me to a different room. I had prepaid for a king sweet and got a double with soggy wet carpet. The manager has reached out saying they will refund my money and take the room out of circulation until properly fix. Ide like to know how room service didnt notice it...did they actually clean the room?

    Room cleanliness was questionable. Mini fridge had someone else's fast food drink and leftover food in it. An article of wet clothing was found under furniture. Kept smelling evidence of someone smoking weed, coming out of other rooms despite the no smoking policy.

    Room was good size, but smelled like rotten fruit. The worst part of the experience was their breakfast, or lack there of, and the fact they disable your keys at 10am. Also reception called at 10:30 to ensure we were leaving. BTW, check out was supposed to be at 11am...

    Clean room, sheets were very soft . Pillows were too flat, and shower rod was coming out of brack, so the shower curtain wouldnt stretch to the sides, just hang in the middle. It was a battle not to flood the bathroom floor lol

    Multiple times there was no hot food replenished before breakfast was over. We had to ask multiple times before any additional food was brought out. Staff was not friendly and many times rude. There were no toiletries in our rooms. We had to go ask for soap. The springs were broken on my bed. There were stains on the carpet and on the couches.

    Upon checking in, we took our bags to the room (the room were just cleaned and the housekeeper whom cleaned tge room was standing in the hall as we entered). We left our bags in the room and closed the door locking it behind us. When returning to the room after eating and shopping our bags were hone. I went to the front desk to inquire about our bags and were told the housekeeper stated they belonged to the individual whom checked out earlier. The front desk clerk were able to locate our bags in the lost and found. We noticed three of the bags had been opened and romaged through. I've never felt so violated before in any hotel we've ever stayed at. The manager who stood at tge front desk when we checked in looked at my grandsons and myself asking "are they having a party" not knowing anything about me or them. I should have known tgen, what type of people and establishment we were dealing with. I'll never ever stay at this location or brand of hotels again. It was truly and honestly race related from tge beginning. thought tge bags belonged to the person whom. H

    The button to the first floor elevator is broken so you have to call the front desk and they will come hit the button on the outside for it to go down. The staff was extremely slow and unresponsive during check-in and questions. Not friendly.

    We paid for a double and upon arrival was put in a king room and told there were no more doubles. We needed the beds so they told us they had one but it wasn’t clean that we could wait. After a few minutes they told us that they had found one. The room smelled musty but they said that’s all they had. The room next door had a fan running on high with a plunger by the door. Later I think we found out why, I think they were having issues with the toilet next door. Upon returning to our room after the concert the smell of urine in the room about knocked us down. We went down to the desk again and asked for some air freshener and was told there was none. I explained the room smelled horrible and we couldn’t stay in it and she asked what number. I told her and she was like “oh, okay” and handed us a bottle of febreeze. We sprayed the room down but it didn’t help much. The carpet was damp in the room so we couldn’t take our shoes off. Went to take a shower and there was a huge stain that looked like poop in the tub. The tub was filthy and there was a big wad of hair under the sink. The air unit sounded like it was falling apart every time it kicked on. It was the most unpleasant stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. I have pictures also

    The beds were comfortable. I was a little concerned about the shower curtain bar. It was very loose from the wall and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. There was a concerning part on the floor in the corner by the window that looked as if it was weak or had been patched. The bathroom door had rust around the top because of no ventilation in the bathroom while taking showers and the shower base was stained. There was only one roll of toilet paper and a half used one. The staff was nice but the room wasn’t worth $197.00. I was a little disappointed for what I paid. Location is great, though.

    Within an hour of arriving the power went out. And no one knew how long before it would be back on. The property didn’t have a back up generator I guess so we had to leave the hotel for a few hours and find something to do that way we weren’t sitting in our room in the dark. 2nd floor hallways smelled like dirty feet. Wasn’t the quality I expected at all for a Comfort Inn as I just stayed at Comfort inn and suites Jackson Michigan and had an AMAZING stay.

    Our family really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms was nicely clean everything was in there that was supposed to be. Beautiful stay for anyone the environment was wonderful and quiet. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend anyone to stsy there. I would give it a 10🌟

    The room did not feel clean. It was hot when we entered the room. The tub was not clean. There was a wadded up sheet that did not appear clean on the cold out bed from the couch. My 8 month old daughter’s feet and knees were filthy from crawling on the floor.

    I picked this room because Expedia showed pictures of this beautiful king suite with glass bathroom showers, but upon checking in this clearly was not the room I seen in the photos. The bathroom didn’t have any glass shower doors or anything like the photos. The room smelled like feet. I called Expedia & the front desk. The hotel said Expedia keeps misleading people about these king suites with pictures that aren’t to these rooms. They said they keep havibg this problem and asked Expedia to fit and they haven’t fixed it. Expedia was know help at all in refunding me for false advertising, they kept hanging up on me not calling me back it was a nightmare. Just dont book thru Expedia at all. Never will I go thru them.

    The front desk staff was amazing! Friendly and pleasant but the condition of the room was terrible. The room was dusty; the shower curtain was damaged and useless and there were rust stains in the bathtub. I'm not sure if the room has not been slept in for a while but the furniture was dusty and unkept. You can tell the bedding was changed only and unused towels left. Everything else was overlooked.

    Before COVID, this hotel is my favorite in all of Southaven, clean and smells good. But now it’s dilapidated, my room seems like it hasn’t been cleaned for months, the carpet old and dusty, the toilet bowl has some black streaks on it. Cleaning Lady cannot even get rid of it. But it very convenient for airport or shopping and dining!

    Check-in was a disaster, the entire hotel smelled like cheap weed—other strangers were all commenting to each other it was so obvious. No towels at the pool, when staff was aware they still didn’t put any out. No bedding for the pull out couch, went downstairs and was told they didn’t have any extra blankets—did eventually get a new blanket I guess they aren’t supposed to hand out. Breakfast was mediocre, staff helped but wasn’t friendly. An extra night was added at check-in without my knowledge and charged to my card and was an entire ordeal to get refunded. Would absolutely never stay here again.

    The beds were comfortable. The bathtub had a bad spot in it and there were sugar ants in the room. There were not a lot of them but periodically but at bedtime and S I awaken each morning I would see them. There was also splotches of paint on one wall.

    Staff is very nice and accommodating. The property is well kept and clean. Many restaurants in walking distance as well as a movie theater. You don't realize how close you are to the grit and grime of Memphis unless you head north a few miles. It's almost like South Heaven has a wall around it to keep all the poverty, crime and drugs of Memphis out.

    Snotty nose tissues in couch bed. Infested with ants. Toilet would not flush. Never restocked rags or towels. Never had new sheets put on unless we did it. Elevator does not have inspection certificate in it. And it was in terrible shape. Blinds missing rods, so you could not close them.

    I stayed the 11th and 12th of April in a double bed room 224.the first you get it made loud noises just from sitting on,any kind of movement on made the squeaking noise louder.the real problem i had it was kids running up and down the floors all day and night ,i called the front desk a couple of times but it didn't do any good,i guess kids gonna be kids ,not sure what was going on but it was a lot of kids.i was really surprised about the bed

    We arrived at the hotel around 10:30pm, after a long day of driving, and found out that our room wasn’t cleaned yet. They did offer to clean it, but we decided to take a smaller room.     The room was in bad shape. It rained in the window. The shower curtain was broken in the bathroom. I ordered a non smoking room but was out in a floor where they were smoking. On top of that I left a brand new baseball cap I. The room that is worth $50 and they said that they couldn’t find it in the room.

    The room was not cleaned like it should be. Several spots were not vacuumed. The smell of weed the entire time we were there was nauseating. You smelled it as soon as you stepped on the elevator and smelled it all night long. You should do a better job of keeping a check around the hotel for things like this. I would make a safe bet that not many people would enjoy this. Definitely not an environment you want your family around.

    Nice property overall good value. Building looks new on the outside. Inside building is much older. Our bathroom tub had rust with drip stains. Bed was just ok, acceptable. The breakfast was lacking, but acceptable.staff was friendly.

    Room was dirty. Found an empty pizza box in a cabinet and the counter had coffee grounds all over it. Bathroom had mold all over the ceiling and the toilet seat continually fell off and needed to be replaced. Breakfast on Saturday morning was abysmal. Eggs looked gross and no cereal or bagels. Sunday morning was better stocked but still chose not to eat the eggs.

    Location is nice... Walking distance to a few dining options. Easy parking. Breakfast was great! Staff was nice but the rooms were lacking. The carpets in the room were in terrible condition, sticky and grimmy. Made a reservation for family of 4 for king suite with pull-out sofabed. There were only 2 towels in the room and the linens for the pull out bed consisted of just a fitted sheet and a dingy pillow. Had to go downstairs for more towels, sheets, blankets and pillows.

    Did a fast overnight there in prep for an early flight. Very close to the airport. Felt safe. Staff was so kind, even at our 3am checkout. Didn’t get to stay long enough to experience amenities, but l highly recommend it for a safe, clean and comfortable stay before a flight.

    Chose this hotel because of a large discount. Unlikely to do it again. Waited several minutes for check-in staff to appear, toilet won’t flush completely, and property has seen better days. Breakfast selection is decent and bed is comfortable, in case that’s all you need.

    The staff we encountered were all friendly..The free breakfast bas better than average. Property is conveniently located right off of I-55. The lobby was clean. The only complaint I have is that when we got in the room there was a lunch box left in there from a prior stay, plus a beer bottle cap left on the counter, and in the closet was a baggie with a brown substance in it and some loose change on the floor, so I don't know how well the room was cleaned prior to us checking in.

    Entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke, but room smelled worse. The shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall & the bathroom ceiling had visable drywall patches all over. Towels had brown stains. Pubic hairs on tub ledge. Hair tie on floor under cabinet. Outlets near bed were so worn out that my phone charger would just fall out. Pillows/sheets had brown/red stains. Mini fridge door would not fully close and could only barely open cause it was rubbing on the floor due to the fridge leaning so much forward. My vehicle smelled like smoke the entire drive home because that room smell was embedded in my suitcase & clothes. I was thoroughly embarrased at work meetings as I could tell people would move farther away from me due to the smell.
