Our first room had a leak in the ceiling. The staff did an excellent job getting our room changed right away.

The treadmill did not work so I walked outside instead.

Staff was helpful. Breakfast was very good. Parking lot was rough and made it difficult to roll our suitcases which is why the property rating wasn't excellent.

It's an older facility and not everything is new, but it's all clean and affordable. The AC is in the wall, but it still cools. The heat part was a little tricky, but we found a temp we liked. The room is small, but adequate. Shower is noce, but I always find it uncomfortable when it appears that another tub was installed over the original. No bad odors.

Wonderful staff- The front entrance is wonderful with lots of information about the area, and the pool is nice. The rooms are slightly dated and worn, but fine for a place to stay.

The property was clean and well maintained. The room was very clean and tidy. AC was great and shower and bathroom were great as well. The beds were very clean. The staff, day and night, were amazingly professional, friendly and happy. My only complaint was that the outlets at the bedside were loose and it was a challenge to keep the plug in proper place to complete a charge.

Good location if you want to be in the westside of Springfield; good hot breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; Clean. Drinks and food reception in the pm. Did not use other amenities like gym and pool.

Ill start with the positives, friendly staff, clean, good breakfast choices. Easy to navigate halls and entrances felt secure. Coffee pot and minifridge in room okay. However there is one word that describes this place, BEIGE. It is very boring. Beige everything, Rooms are dark and halls are dim, very depressing, out dated vibe. There needs to be some light! And color! Nothing unique or interesting to be found. Surroundings are the same. DULL. No make up mirrors in bathroom, night stand charger only on one side. No bathroom fan (I guess its just a constant-one-fan-for-all kinda thing. We were there for two days and felt no joy or sense of adventure in that dull and depressing room. I would search for a boutique hotel of some kind, although the choices are very limited in Springfield apparently, which is why this one was recommeded to us as the best option for clean and safe. So there you go.

The breakfast was very good with eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, and more. The room was comfortable quiet. Unfortunately, the Peloton bike at the fitness center was nonfunctioning and the staff didn't know or care about fixing it. Given that I choose my hotels based on this, I was very disappointed.

This Hampton Inn is the oldest one I have ever seen. The rooms and hallways are very dark. The furniture and bathrooms are outdated. I expected a certain level of quality which was sadly lacking.

The hotel had a board listing numerous nearby restaurants which was very helpful! The room was pretty clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The entire place, room, lobby, outside, inside is immaculate. The staff was extraordinary, very friendly and accommodating. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here over the last year and all three stays have been wonderful.

Welcoming staff. Directed me to a great dinner. Very clean, spacious room. As an older widow traveling alone, I felt very safe. I have never had a bad experience with the Hampton.

Aleda, front desk, and man working with her were very helpful with extending my stay with an additional night. They were friendly and efficient.

Rooms need a refresh. The sheets had small faded dried up blood stains that just need to be discarded. Bed skirts are ripped. Office chair cushion all ripped. Free breakfast is real breakfast food so that’s a huge plus. The lobby is updated but the rooms need a good refresh.

Everything was great about this stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and just warm enough. Best of all though, the breakfast was the best I've witnessed for complimentary.

We had a great corner room— but was loud neighbors and the breakfast was disappointing- slimy eggs. Staff not very friendly.

Property was very nice and the room we had with the double queen beds was very spacious. The breakfast area was also very clean and the all around working staff was very nice. Would definitely stay here again for any future visits

The room was a bit dated. Very noisy! The walls seemed like paper, you could hear everything and everyone! A side entrance was about 4 rooms away, and the clank of the door was super loud. The shower had ok water pressure, but even turned to all the way hot, was warm at best.

Nice room. Check in experience was good. Front desk employee (sorry I didn't get his name) was fun and funny! I appreciate a good sense of humor!. Bathroom sink had hair in it.

The hotel was clean. No musty smell in the halls or room. My room was warm when I walked in (which I appreciated greatly considering that the outside temp was 9 degrees). The bed linens smelled amazing (whatever detergent you use, keep using). The breakfast had a lot of options. Even the coffee was decent. I also really like the Zero bath products. It’s one of my favorite things about Hilton hotels. King size pillows on a king size bed would be nice. More channel options on the TV.

The suites are amazingly spacious, the couches are not for comfort, I’ve seen cool sectionals that pull out & the space is there in other hotels, but these are just the cheap 2 seater that the cushions sink in on and you feel like you’re falling forward. The bedroom, again spacious, nicely laid out, great closet space & luggage spaces, however- the mattresses are awful and the water in the shower never got remotely warm.

Breakfast hot food was the best I’ve ever had at a Hotel… delicious scrambled eggs (not watery fake eggs like most hotels have), sausage & fried potatoes were yummy. Front desk (Aaron) and all staff I encountered were wonderful! Room was very clean, comfortable bed! I have no complaints! Thank you!

Pet areas were very easy to access and disposable bags were available for poop pick up. Nice area to walk the dogs. My only complaint is that twice now we have stayed here and I’ve requested a first floor room and both times I have ended up on a higher floor. It is very inconvenient to have to go down three floors to exercise our dogs in the middle of the night. Both times my reservations were made weeks in advance.

In the past there has been more fresh fruit available with the breakfast at Hampton Inns.

The only thing I thought should be addressed is the pool needs to be cleaned really well. It sides around the tile were not clean and it looked like it had been a long time. The water was fine but the pool surface needs scrubbing!

I am here for a softball tournament & I need to do laundry! The laundry onsite is unavailable & you have to do laundry at the hotel next door! Single mom with 2 kids, I have to leave the hotel when I could just let the kids swim while doing laundry. Totally interrupted our plans & should have been warned this was an issue! It was not a new development so we should have been warned! Very unhappy!

I was unable to use self check in which was a bit frustrating. Breakfast was great and the lobby was clean. The room had some stains on the carpet (likely pet) but overall it felt clean. The area is a bit outside of town in a commercial area, so it’s 10-15 minutes to food or activities, however traffic wasn’t bad and the out of the way location made me feel more secure as mom traveling solo with young kids. I would stay here again. Also had a great indoor pool.

There was absolutely nothing special about this property. The hotel room was fine. No care was taken to have any Kleenex in the restroom or anywhere else. Just a very plain …. The mattresses need replacing and the bed was loud when you turned over it. The breakfast was good. The lobby was pretty again nothing special, especially for the price I paid.

checked into a room on the first floor and when I walked in, immediately I was hit with a mildew type smell that overpowered the room. I went back to the desk to let them know that I’d like a new room. The gentleman was nice about it, but he was not surprised by the request. I would think that guest services would have been a bit more shocked that their room smelled like old wet carpet, especially since this is a Hampton Hotel. I was given another room across the hall and it also smelled the same. Went back to the desk to request another room, again. The man at the desk asked if the smell I was referring to could have been the air freshener they use. It was an odd comment, but I don’t think his intention was off-putting. Once we got to the third room on the third floor, it was so much better. From there. the rest of the stay was ok other than finding a what looked like a pubic hair on the lotion dispenser at the vanity. I did not want to bother calling to complain. Like most other Moms who are traveling with their kids in tow, I just cared about getting some rest. Breakfast was good. Lots of options and it was all very fresh. I always love booking with Hampton, but next time I’ll probably bypass this location.

Great place to stay to visit the Lincoln museum. The pool was loud and overcrowded on Saturday but my grandkids got to enjoy it before we checked out on Sunday.

The property was away from any residential areas and had a few mega stores but no place nearby to get food etc without driving.

Hotel is 22 years old, and the rooms need updating badly. 1st room we got was discussing, like the other review said the upholstery was ripped and stained, the pull-out sofa was dirty and the bar to pull the bed out was showing right under the couch cushions. 2nd room shown smelled like an unclean public bathroom. Finally, the 3rd room was much nicer. Breakfast was decent but I couldn't believe they give you dinner also. Whether it was just something special they were doing for the week or something they do all the time, but it was good. They had taco Tuesday and Wednesday was fried chicken with a few sides. It saved a lot of money especially if you have a family. I would stay there again but I would ask for a nicer room when I book. The employees were very nice.

My room smelled like dogs. I told the attendant he said well we are pet friendly….. seems there could be dedicated rooms for pets like other places ,maybe ? That way one wouldn’t have to smell the former tenants animals. Other than that it was OK

The breakfasts were average and there was a good selection and lots of it. It fit our need. The beds were comfortable and the curtains were very good at blocking out the light so it was a good sleeping experience. The hotel was also quiet so other than the shower situation, I would have no issue staying in this hotel again.

We stayed for 3 nights and they failed to clean the room and exchange towels, etc. on the second night like they told us they would. Property is older and not in the best of areas but they do try to keep the common areas clean and the staff seemed friendly.

Front desk staff were very friendly. Convenient location. Room was fine. Breakfast smelled good but we didn’t stop. Bath tub would NOT drain no matter what we did to the stopper. So my husband and I ended our showers standing in deep soapy water.

My only 'complaint' was the hot water was not hot😔

This Hampton Inn is great, staff was friendly, it was clean and the breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is that I booked a room with 2 queen beds but had a King instead. There weren’t any rooms to switch to but it wasn’t too big of an inconvenience.

We brought our grandkids on a trip, the room was roomy and comfortable. Got a great surprise with free taco bar for supper. Kids definitely enjoyed the pool

Very nice facilities and staff. Thank you. A note to corporate on pet policy.Responsible pet owners as we are and many others alike will leave your facilities nicer than when we arrived. Therefore a $50 fee seems quite unreasonable. After our visit as pet owner it would be a good practice to refund a good portion of this fee back to your patrons after inspecting and witnessing the overall cleanliness of the room. The fees when adding up on a week long trip can add up to be more than toundtrip airfare. Thank you.

Disgusting bedding. The room hadn't been cleaned properly and there was mold behind the bed and between the table of the beds. The staff didn't do anything for us. I asked for a call back from the manager left my phone number no call back. I sent an email out once I got him to the manager did not get a response yet. Feeling very disgusted.

The bedding was staying with some kind of yellow whatever I don't even want to know what it was. I pulled the bedding took it to the front desk. Upon finding the bed in bad condition I started looking around the hotel room. I found mold behind the bed behind the end next to the center table between the beds bathroom door had stains on it hairs on the floor in the bathroom in the corner mold growing in the vent and underneath the toilet. This place was disgusting. It was our second stay I guess I was too tired to inspect the first stay. Feeling disgusted

One of the comforters had a blood stain on it, ceiling in bathroom looked like it was going to fall in, stains in the carpet, sink in our suite stunk really bad to the point we had to put paper towel and a wash cloth over the drain, couch had stains. In addition to all these issues we had a problem with our lock in the door. Thankfully there was someone in the room to let us back in. Talked to front desk and was told there was nothing they could do about it, sorry. Would have stayed somewhere else but no other rooms were available at other hotels. Would have rather stayed at the cheaper place and been more comfortable. This property really needs to focus on making the rest of the hotel look like the lobby. Nice and shiny on the outside and pile of crap on the inside. Will never stay at this property again and I appreciate Hampton Inns

Comfortable room

A wonderful stay! Clean, well staffed with friendly folks and lovely amenities. We enjoyed a spacious room fitted with a microwave, wet bar and fridge. We loved the pool, missed a hot tub but enjoyed it none the less and were delighted by the free breakfast options! Would stay again.

Our room was quite out of date. We were told that the room would only be cleaned 1 out of the 3 days that we were staying "for our comfort". When we pressed the issue, we were told it was due to staffing issues. The website shows laundry facilities onsite. The laundry facility is actually in a different property which required a short drive to go to which was not convenient.

Was in town for a family visit. Hotel was clean and friendly. Only complaint was the pool needed a good cleaning.

Wonderful stsy

Rooms were large and clean. The only downside was the room TV was old and did not allow me to attach a computer to be able to show a movie. The setup to switch to the HDMI input did not work.

Nearby are big box outlets and car dealerships, not good for walking around the immediate area. We stayed on the first floor, seemed musty from recent rains (?). If possible ask for a room on an upper floor. Staff friendly and helpful.

Definitely clean, comfortable and nice staff. The pool broke down before we arrived but we were allowed to walk across the parking lot to the sister hotel. Was not terrible but was the main reason we booked this hotel

The breakfast at this particular Hampton was very good. I have been to many of these types of hotels, but this was the best breakfast I have had at any of them.

Couch needed both seat cushions to be replaced (one side was even unsittable). Work chair was ok. Bed very comfy, room very clean. Fridge and microwave were clean and worked fine. Nice shower. Good breakfast. Felt like a secure location. Pet fee is 50 per night. Breakfast area and room could use a plastic bottle recycling bin. Overall the hotel and rooms do show some age, but clean and nice—though a smidge overpriced given age and condition.
