This resort was the best getaway! Prime location, great food, beautiful beach and cozy rooms! I’ve been here four times and stayed feeling the same excitement and comfort each and every time! 10/10

Location. Room was dated and in need of repairs. Food and drinks over priced.

Staff friendly, clean rooms and great breakfast there. Side balcony looking at parking lot, I didn’t like. Not many restaurants to walk to.

On the beach, great location. Staff was very nice. On booking it shows with your stay you get 2 chairs and an umbrella included in your price. This is false and is an additional $55 a day. The bed is comfortable but the sheets and extremely rough and do not fit the bed. Our air condition unit rattled which was extremely annoying when trying to sleep.

We didnt realize the beach bar on the weekends would be absolutely crazy. Not a good environment to bring small kids to on the weekends.

Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was also very good!

Very strict pet policy. The nature of a dog is to bark if they hear another dog or people outside the door. We did not feel comfortable in leaving our room because our dogs MIGHT bark Taking a dog to the pound is frickin ridiculous and I’m going to find out if this is even legal. We had no issues with our dogs barking but did not want to chance it See above

I thought when we booked this hotel, the chairs and umbrellas were covered on the beach, but they weren’t so that was an extra hundred dollars a day. The breakfast was good except our last day the service was horrendous. The pool small so get thoroughly to get a chair. The beach restaurant was pretty good. I would recommend that.

We stayed in an Oceanview suite, and it was everything and more than we expected. The staff and the bartenders at Coconut Joe’s were exceptional for a great experience at the bar ask for Joseph.!

We had a great time. The location is right there close to the beach. The room and amenities were excellent. their personnel was superb. in particular Jay Reyes (Hawaiian) who has the warmth and professionalism of the Hawaiian people.

The beach access was great. We originally booked another hotel and when we got down there it did not look like the pictures. The Hilton Garden Inn got us in and was a great addition to our trip. The lounge area with the hammocks and the outdoor restaurant were added bonuses.

It is a small place, worked well for just my husband and I definitely nothing fancy, all practical and definitely clean !!!!

Great location on the beach and close to restaurants etc. The beach itself is extremely nice, and the hotel is on the sand, so no crossing the street with kids in tow necessary. I had very high expectations for this hotel given the reviews. I like the no frills aspect and had no expectations for anything other than a nice hotel on the beach. I didn’t appreciate the unfriendly front desk people, no one seemed to give accurate information regarding facilities, how parking worked, etc. the “breakfast included” is a $20 voucher to the restaurant (less for kids 12 and under). 20% tip automatically included. They originally gave me a child voucher for my teenager, even though he was booked as an adult. I had to ask for it to be exchanged and I received a dirty look from the gal on the front desk. The restaurant was very nice though and the servers were friendly, but you will likely go over your voucher allowance. Parking is also $25/day. Check in was a pain and when my room was finally ready no one bothered to let me know even though we’d been waiting in the lobby for over 3 hours. Once in the room I took a shower only to find out mid shower that the toiletries were empty so I had no conditioner to finish my hair. The room is only cleaned every other day. The pool seemed small and crowded. The beach chairs are expensive to rent but were available and in good condition. The cornhole game was missing a few sand bags…. Those were little things that would have made the stay more enjoyable.

It says pet friendly so one would assume that your pet would also be welcome on beach well it’s not! paying 30 dollars a day for parking then having to pay to park at pet friendly beach was flat out BS IT SHOULD BE ON THE WEBSITE THAT you’re DOG ISNT ALLOWED ON BEACH!!! I would have booked elsewhere if we’d known I’ve never spent so much for parking in my life absolutely ridiculous! Just a mess

Pool was great

Great property for a night on the beach! We had a partial ocean view room, the balcony is tiny but we weren't in our room often. The restaurants and bars on site were awesome. We were right on the beach with Coconut Charlie's bar with great food and drinks with seating on the deck or right in the beach sand! We were able to grab a drink and watch the sunset! Room was very clean and had all amenities we needed. Location was perfect, even had a great outdoor pool and easy access to beach for an ocean swim.

A new hotel with very beautiful decor, a great location, and friendly staff. The Tiki bar is also really cool, with good food. The pool is small but nice. It's a shame we couldn't get an early check-in or late check-out.

It was perfect for a quick anniversary get away. We enjoyed the beach, pool, bar and looking at the night sky lounging in the hammocks. Beds were comfy. It's a great value. We'll be back.

I’d also recommend you put a smokers pole somewhere in the lot to accommodate smokers

This hotel is in a perfect location for beach access and you’re pretty close to all conveniences. The staff is welcoming and seems to strive to accommodate your needs. We’ll be back for sure!

This is perfect if you want convenience and be close to the beach, a few steps and you are there. I didn’t like that I have to pay for parking in addition to my stay, overall the rooms are ok. I found the pillos and bed uncomfortable.

hotel was easy to find, centrally located, and had visible signs to identify. There was plenty of 15 minute parking to itemize while checking in. We walked in and were immediately greeted and checked in . We weree red given a set of keys, a parking pass, our breakfast vouchers, and a list of numbers to call if we needed anything. I noticed that the hotel smelt really good, there was a well organized convience shop, water for your dog, and a pup cup area to treat your dog to a treat. There was a comfortable lobby area and everything was very clean. We then proceeded to park. There is a gate to keep others from using all the spots to goto the beach. This opens with your room key. We found a spot near the side entrance which is secure and accessible with room key. The parkling lot was clean, had a good amount of spaces, was safe and well lit. We got on the tiny side elevator up to the 5th floor. During our 4 day 3 night stay this elevator was Sandy- which is expected on the beach. We entered a clean room and it was a nice size. It was the handicap accessible room. The room had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, 2 cups, 5 coffee pods, a huge closet organizer with drawers and full length mirror, a chair and side table, 2 queen beds, and a nice size bathroom

Very clean property. Well maintained except hair dryer was clogged with dust and freezer was severely caked with ice. Both were replaced when asked. Never enough pool towels. I did see the got new bigger ones before we left, That will be helpful. Pool Lady is lovely. Enjoy her. Pool chairs are very uncomfortable. Bar hit you in back and hurts ?? Music is way too loud at night until like 11 pm. Especially the neighborhood bar. Over all lovely place. Will return !!

No, the view was of a parking lot. "Partial ocean view is misleading. The photographs on the web are also misleading. It is a very big and long Hotel and only a few rooms have an ocean view. Sadly no sunsets.

The only problem was if you get two queen beds, one person freezes from the air conditioner blowing on top of you all night.

No complaints, everything was as expected. Clean and everybody was accommodating.

Based on the price that we spent for our night stay I expected much better. We were woken at 3 AM to a fire alarm and had to evacuate, by the time we got back inside and back into bed could not sleep. (no fire, false alarm, were told that maintenance was being done and set off the alarm ) the next day was ruined due to being very tired. We tried to make the best of our day and spent all day away from our room when we arrive back later that night we came back to the room exactly the way we left. Beds were not made and no fresh towels. No housekeeping. When I called the desk and asked why we did not get this service, He said that they only do room service every second day now, And that somebody at check-in must have forgot to inform us of this. I expected way better. Hilton, you need to do better than this.! Very disappointed

The room was very clean and in great condition. The hotel has great location and a lot of friendly staff at the front. I stayed for 6 days, and there was a fire drill one day and an actual fire alarm going off the next. We smelled something burning and had to leave the building for awhile. There’s a $100 hold a night which is fair, but a few days after my stay I realized I wasn’t reimbursed and called back. Turns out, they charged me for parking everyday. I didn’t have a car. I flew in and then ubered to and from the hotel. Just be careful of the charges after your stay, I wasn’t provided with a paper at check out going over any of that. They weren’t apologetic at all over the phone either.

I really enjoyed my stay here. 7-11, Dunkin Donuts and several restaurants right across the street. Nice tiki bar and pool area. Only downside was the partial ocean view. You see very little of the ocean. I definitely will stay here again for the reasons mentioned.

The hotel was clean and amenities nice if we would have been able to use them. Tiki bar was closed due to cold (50 degree). Parking was 25$/day which seems excessive after the cost of the hotel and amenities being closed. Also, don’t expect to be able to check in even a half hour early.

Nice clean room. Outdoor area with pool was great but the beach bar was under construction so the area was noisy and so we tried the beach, but you have to pay per day to sit in the beach chairs.

Room were very clean! Housekeeping attended to our needs promptly! We wish we would have requested a Gulf front room as our view was the parking lot! The pool area was great and we really enjoyed the area outside the pool with the Astro turf and ping pong tables and bags sets and comfy chairs! We were under the impression the cabanas were included in our room price but they were an additional $25 a day. Also the coconut Charley’s outdoor restaurant was being remodeled while we were there! So it would have been nice to use that service !

Hidden extra fees, thin walls, restaurant and bar under construction, flat pillows, car got keyed in the parking lot. But clean.

The hotel is a great value hotel with access to the beach, room needs some upgrades, little bit small for families, the family of 4 should only gets 2 chairs at the beach (most of the time it’s not used so you can use them because the chairs are super far from the ocean)

This is a great spot on the beach, so many things are walkable.

Restaurants onsite are good however one is overpriced. Rear elevator is convenient. Beach accesss good. Partial view room was blocked by palm tree - bummer. No hooks in bathroom for pajamas or towels. Comfy overall for a 4 night stay.

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel is directly on the beach, newly remodeled from Hurricane damage last year. Especially enjoyed the included beach cabanas and breakfast at Coconut Charlie’s (attached to hotel)

The pool and Coconut Charlie’s tiki bar and restaurant were great! They provide pool towels, bottled water and beach cabana’s and chairs in the price of the stay. Loved everything about the property… small and cozy. Convenient to everything. The close walk to the beach was so nice. One thing I think could have been better was the cabana’s and beach chairs. They were a little beat up and needed replaced. They also anchor them down so it’s hard to move them around if you want more sun. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Went with my hubby for a 2 night get-away. Beach was nice, umbrella and chairs were included, but the nicer ones closest to the beach was an extra $25 per day. Coconut Charlie's in the beach area had great service (shout out to Shelby!) and great drinks. Menu was good but not a lot of options, just the essentials for a good quick meal. There was another entity of Coconut Charlie's in the front, more formal sit down kind, again menu was very basic and very expensive, did not try. Great restaurants within walking distance. Dunkin' was right across the street too! Front Check in was quick but same gentlemen at check in and check out was impersonal and spoke very scripted. Rooms were very clean. Sunsets were amazing. There was a pool, did not try as we are beach ppl, but looked clean and had lots of chairs and umbrellas as well. Beds were comfortable, pillows were not. Parking was easy (outdoor but gated). Great for all ages. Calm and cool vibes!

We walked to many restaurants. You can Uber if you want to go somewhere else, we went to the Pier and it was def worth it. The pool is clean the hotel is clean the rooms are clean. Everyone there is super nice. You get towels for the pool and beach. It’s a very chill and easy going vibe. It’s quiet and you don’t wait for a lounge chairs or cabanas. Definitely recommend the location and the hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful from check in time all the way until check out time. They have 2 amazing places to eat throughout the day. The beach is conveniently located walking distance. Anthony was so helpful during check out and went above and beyond with parking for our friends that were coming to visit us.

We went back to Hilton Garden because it has everything you need. Front private pbeach, parking included, super clean and cute, restaurant inside and a bar outside with food on your way to the beach very convenient. Very good restaurant's just minutes walking.

Front desk and restaurant staff outstanding! My room was partially clean when I arrived (surfaces had coffee stains and dust). Even after cleaning second stains and dust were there and floors not vacuumed. Also fitness center was dirty all 3 mornings I was there. I don’t want to generalize to all cleaning staff, it could be quite variable! Overall it was a great place to stay and I’d return.

Rooms were clean, beach was nice but lady who works the pool wasn’t friendly. I asked for extra towel and she told me no, I told her I’d got one yesterday and she said “new day, new rules”. Seemed very rude and unprofessional to use that phrase as reason.

The property was on the smaller size and very quaint. The pool, beach access, and beach bar were great. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here in the future.

It was our first time visiting this resort and we had an amazing experience. Being able to check in early was definitely convenient in addition to the wristbands provided to utilize the cabanas on the beach. I would rate it a 10/10 experience and highly recommend this resort to friends and family! Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!

Wonderful hotel…clean room, comfortable beds. Restaurant and pool bar food at the hotel were both excellent…even for our picky 14 yr old…only complaint was the a/c vent in the room blows right on you in bed. Minor thing but very happy overall. Would stay again.

Best hotel and vacation in long time

Amazing!

This was our first time. We were supposed to have a room on the fourth floor but we chose the first because it was available around 12:00…when we arrived. We were very appreciative to have been able to check in early. However, the first floor was very noisy. There were dogs howling and barking, there were children running and crying everywhere, some people playing music loudly and this was when my son and I tried taking a nap mid day and again before bed. Maybe the fifth floor would have been quieter. But the staff was very friendly and kind. The room was spacious and very clean. The pillows we loved. The food at the restaurant both the front and back was amazing! I loved that it was all in walking distance, literally make a left or right. The drinks were also really well done. The bartenders and other staff were smiling and happy. Besides some rukus of people not controlling their dogs or children, we enjoyed our stay and would be recommending it. We will also be coming back. The pool towels were unlimited and even water was offered at the pool. There were plenty of chairs and cabanas. It was lovely! Thank you.

Walking distance to everything

This was a nice property beautifully located on the beach. However, i found the staff we interacted with, especially on check into be very rude. We were there for 4 days and never got housekeeping. I expected much better service for such an expensive hotel.

We left another hotel due to mold issues and decided to stay here instead. The rooms were clean, and we slept great, which was a big relief. The pool was a nice amenity, but it felt a bit neglected, lots of bugs in the pool, and it didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly. The hotel was fully booked, and dance music started around 9am, the bar/restaurant blasted dance music like it was spring break for college kids when there was literally just toddlers around. Not really the vibe we were looking for that early in the morning.

Great place to vacation! Everything was clean and up to date. Beautiful balcony views of the beach and pool area. Hope they continue to keep things up to date.

Everything was awesome, except for housekeeping service (room). It is our opinion that they have opportunity for significant improvement on the "every other day" housekeeping. The hotel is very well located, easy for parking, common areas always cleaned, good staff, awesome restaurants.

Lovely 2 night stay however very discouraging that fees were taken without my knowledge. Woke up on the day of check out to find over 250.00 was charged to my cc. Front desk did not communicate properly and im still very confused about these charges. Ill be following up.

Property is on the beach which was very convenient but definitely not relaxing with loud banging doors and staff extra loud very early in the morning (6am until whenever) if you are a late morning person or trying to get sleep then this is not the hotel. Food was ok

The entire staff was very courteous! The food at the restaurants was also good & not too pricey. Our rooms were very clean. The entire property is maintained very well. It’s conveniently located with the beach being steps away right behind the hotel. Cabanas on the beach were free for the hotel guest on a first come first serve basis…there were plenty & we never had an issue where there wasn’t one available. The beachside bar & grill had a live band. The pool area was also very clean & well maintained. The parking for hotel guests was a bit tight but we didn’t have a problem parking. Overall we had a 10/10 experience! Anytime we’re in St Pete, this is where we will be staying!

Very clean hotel with very comfy bed. Great swimming pool and very short walk to the white sand beach of the Gulf.

Property was very well kept, both indoors and outdoors. Super nice to have beach chairs and cabana for the guest. Love the fact I can just walk up to the outside restaurant to eat and go back to my chair and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I come back to St.Pete, I will choose this hotel!

It was my first time at this hotel on the beach. Enjoyed Charlie’s Bar & Grill part of the hotel near beach. Very nice pool & hammocks. Easy secure parking included. Nice rooms but mattresses are way too hard. I was all sore in my back and hips every morning ☹️ Front Desk employees (Anthony) were all very friendly and so was housekeeping. Great shower pressure. The only thing that would keep me from not going back would be the hard uncomfortable mattresses. Charlie’s was fun for my birthday 🎉 with live music 🎶

Also, the rooms were clean, the showers were nice, and the beach area was great. The pool is a bit small, but suitable. The food at the outside grill was great, as was the service. The only downside - I didn't see any dessert ont he menu and was really wanted a good key lime pie. (For that, go across the street and 0.25 miles down the road.) Will DEFINITELY stay again.

The only problem we experienced was no house keeping, our room was never cleaned during our stay and they never replenished towels, toilet paper, shampoos etc. Front staff at the counter was awesome.

the food at Coconut Charlie’s was amazing. Service was excellent. We had 2 breakfasts and a dinner there and were delighted with all of it. The lost star was for the lack of quality bedding. the pillows were feather but flat and hard, the top sheet was layered with an uncovered duvet insert and a textured very light blanket? The pillow zippers are sticking out of the cases, and scratched me. The mattress was comfortable though.

The cleanness,the property setup decoration,the friendly staffs with handling everything with calmness and handle any issues quickly. This hotel sits right on the beach with very short walking distance. They have it all on the property with beach bar,grills;swimming pool with lounge and restaurant onto the property

Great time was had by all. Nice getaway before hurricane season.

Close to the beach, tiki restaurant, pool. Very clean and friendly.

This location has the good part of the beach we walked south and some of the sand wasn't as nice. the air conditioning was great. The shower water pressure was bad.
