We loved the atmosphere of the place during our 2 day stay. We will be back.
- 5/5
Property was great, clean and the rooms were very quiet. It was great having Jimmy B’s on property for food, drink and a good music.
- 4/5
Otherwise bar, beach access and general resort very good.
- 3/5
Overall the property was just very different than pictures depicted online. There was active construction, the property seemed dated and not as clean and “newly renovated” as the website portrayed. The bar, Jimmy B’s, was fun on the surface but upon closer examination was EXTREMELY dirty (just to the naked eye looking behind the bar areas) and had an obvious odor to it. Was fine for a quick one night stay but I would not go back or recommend.

Location. Pools and beach bar. Housekeeping is only ever other day, not good for a hotel on the beach as sand gets everywhere. When they did come after 2 nights, they only took out garbage and left clean towels. They didn't change sheets or make beds. Not acceptable when paying $250 a night for a room.
- 2/5
We arrived on a Saturday night at midnight to a lobby full of drunk young adults. Nearly an hour later we were sent to our room, which we found was dirty. And I don't just mean that the housekeeper forgot it. There was trash behind the bed & nightstand. There was one place to plug anything in & it was on one side of the bed, leaving the next person to charge their electronics in the ONE other outlet in the room. The couch was stained, the mattress felt like it hadn't been changed out since 1979. The bathroom was filthy. The shower had not been cleaned; there was hair, dirt, dust, sand, mold all over the shower. There was toothpaste or lotion smeared on the shelf in the bathroom. The windows & the coverings were inadequate, outstated, and also dirty. The entire facility except for the lobby felt like it hadn't been updated since the 90's. The lobby was polished with newer furniture, and smelled nice. It almost felt like a trap once we got up to our room & saw the tragedy of the room. We decided to go to the "sister company" which was the Hilton next door. I spent about 2 hours back & forth between the hotel & Expedia trying to get my riembursment. I will likely not use Expedia in the future due to the major inconvenience of having to fight to get my money back.

During the time we went the tide was just a tad stronger than a chill day, but walking or driving over to pass-a-grille on the east side or the beach at St. Pete pier; the water would be nice and calm. Great location, close to convenient stores and restaurants. Note: During our stay in early June, it was a predominantly boomer, Gen X and millennial crowd. Which came with some peace and quiet.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. I would just suggest to clean better under the beds.
- 4/5
Room was clean although older. Our room had an odor that we couldn't figure out. May just have been from the hurricane water damage. Pool was nice, but would have been better heated. Limited menu at Jimmy B's. Hope they expand that. All in all, I'd stay there again. Beach was nice, and chairs and umbrellas were great to have. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Place could use a little sprucing up, (beautiful fountain not working, fencing an eyesore) but considering the hurricane a few years ago, that'sunderstandable..Still didn't feel like Jimmy B's is the same as it use to be. I expected it to be noisy considering Jimmy B's was right there, but it was actually pretty quiet.

Loved my stay
- 5/5
Love this place and will be coming back!
- 5/5
Henry at the desk is awesome. Give that man a raise.
- 2/5
Terrance at the front desk took care of everything we needed. Fences in courtyard were ugly and distracting. Main pool was closed 3 of the days we were there. No gym on site. These were the things we chose for our stay. They were in hotel description. The next door pool and gym were amazing, but not how we made our descision for our stay. We chose Beachcomber to avoid elevators and gates and people… a microwave in room would be nice.
- 3/5
Only had 2 wash clothes and 4 towels for 6 days. Blind was broken but fixed after complaint. Portable toilet trucked parked right outside, so it stunk real bad. Pool pump was broke the first day. Parking is a nightmare but the proximity to the beach and other attractions was real nice.

Clean room, friendly staff and great location.
- 5/5
Front check in staff were so helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic and the beach was beautiful!! The chairs on the beach were a great touch.
- 5/5
Towels. They do charge a resort fee; however, I will say they actually had a perk with the resort fee that made it worth while paying. It included, beach lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach. What a wonderful usable perk to provide as apart of the resort fee. Friendly staff, nice perks, energetic vibe, plenty of parking, close to and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and plenty of sand and beach to enjoy. Will definitely be back and recommend to others! Great job on not missing the Mark and remember your customers in all aspect of the resort. Must give a shoutout to the man on the beach setting up the umbrella and chairs for everyone, he did it with a smile on his face, very cheerful attitude and just all in all he was just happy to be there!

Friendly staff. Room super clean. Great bar atmosphere
- 4/5
Housekeeping is amazing! But we always have issues with the front desk. Jimmy B's and the beach staff are worth the trip so we will be returning.
- 5/5
Location is wonderful and walking distance to bars and restaurants. The property itself is updated from the last storms, however there is still some work taking place. The beach is a short walk through the courtyard, passed the pools, and through a great bar,

Location, and Jimmy B’s!!! No elevator, the large pool was not working, they NEVER cleaned my room even after I went to the front office! On site it says daily cleaning, front desk stated every other day. I had to take toilet paper from on site public restroom and beach towels to shower with!
- 3/5
Our room was filthy upon arrival. There was a sticky liquid all over the inside of the refrigerator and it stunk like fish. My husband had to clean the refrigerator himself so we could put our items in it. There was matted hair on the shower walls and the floor floors were dirty. The main pool was broken our entire stay. But the most frustrating thing was there is a bar connected to the hotel, which has live music until 1 AM every night, which you can hear booming throughout the property. We were up until at least 2 AM every single night because we couldn’t get to sleep with how loud the music was. The hotel is right on the beach though.
- 4/5
Parking is really tight. Big pool was out of service. Great layout for families
- 5/5
Excellent..!
- 3/5
Pool was out of order and no cable in the room for a few days
- 5/5
we loved everything about it. Jimmy B bar is very nice and very friendly. the beach is very clean and very friendly.
- 3/5
What was most disappointing, however, was the experience we had at check-in. Upon arrival, I was confused about where to park and how to begin the check-in process. There was another guest ahead of me, and I waited patiently while the front desk associate assisted her. He was extremely friendly, even walking out to her car to help gather information. Meanwhile, I stood waiting for guidance. When he eventually came outside and noticed my vehicle, instead of offering assistance, he abruptly and rudely asked why I had parked there. I explained that I was waiting specifically because I did not know where I should park and was hoping he could help. Rather than providing direction, he simply told me to move my car. His tone was dismissive and unwelcoming. What made the interaction particularly upsetting was the stark contrast between how he treated the guest before me and how he treated me. The difference was impossible not to notice. I do not like making assumptions about discrimination, and I have rarely felt compelled to question how I was being treated. However, this experience left me wondering whether my appearance or background influenced the interaction. Most importantly, I was traveling with my 78-year-old mother, and instead of feeling welcomed as guests, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Had we had another option at

It's a great location! The parking is a bit confusing. Not a fan of the "Metropolis Parking Company" which charges for parking on behalf of the hotel. Metropolis' automated license plate recognition (ALPR) system is garbage.

loved the beach, pool, the bars and music had a great beach stay. would be nice to have a microwave in the room. we had to ask for clean towels took some time to get them.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was super nice and we were able to get into our room early, which was a plus because we had an early flight. Room was nice super comfortable bed and pillows. We chose a room near Jimmy B’s beach bar and if you don’t want to hear very very loud music until two in the morning And then have your neighbors continue partying until three or later don’t choose this room, if we went back we would pick a courtyard room. barre and Restaurant staff were excellent as were helpers on the beach and it was very convenient to have chairs, umbrellas, and towels provided! Beach store, convenience store in Dunkin’ Donuts across the street were convenient! Do not leave anything unattended at the restaurant or bar as I had cash stolen.
- 5/5
Love this place. This is my sixth time staying here an I’m never disappointed.
- 4/5
Close to beach. Good bar with great drinks. Room was roomy and comfortable
- 4.5/5
Beachcomber has got the basics down and is doing things right by avoiding the annoying things that usually occur. Rooms are simple but meet the needs - Booked one with separate "living" space. This was small but helped having two people in the room. Nice pool(s), easy access to beach and a tiki bar that serves easy food at a reasonable price and has music all day. Beach chairs and umbrella come with room at no extra cost. Provide your room number and name and its done. This makes so much sense since you already pay a "resort fee". Getting towels does not require ridiculous measures - Just take and return with no key or extra steps. A couple of issues: 1). Wi-Fi is very poor. Couldn't use smart TV to log into personal apps and it was so bad that it interfered with steaming on laptop. 2). Lack of housekeeping was a small issue. Not daily - OK but they didn't come on expected day either. Had to grab replacement shampoo / conditioner on my own.

Casual and yet clean and friendly
- 4/5
A nice beach spot. While the room was a little musty when first went in it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The place is old but has been remodeled and they have a lively bar on the beach. Gets loud at the bar but I did not notice in my room.
- 5/5
Wonderful location on the beach. Low rise hotels with no elevators to slow you down.
- 5/5
Our lit’ place was perfect for 2. Location is definitely key! Porch view of the courtyard was beautiful & well maintained. Just a few steps away from 2 pools. Literally beside that is Johnny Bs beach bar, love music & food/drinks. Then walking thru straight to the beach. Complimentary beach chairs, umbrella & towels - with the nicest cpl of guys setting them right up for u! U can also purchase drinks from them while lounging. Beautiful part of the beach- sand was soft & shells, not over crowded. Behind the hotel - there are a few delicious restaurants we walked too.. a shirt shop and Dunkin. We had an amazing stay!! Recommend!
- 2/5
Stayed 3 days never changed our bedding we had to call to get clean towels and toilet paper they never stopped by to see if we needed any thing or if all was good when we checked in the told us the wrong side or room was on and never offered a broom so we could sweep the sand out of our room parking is very bad will never stay there again we r writing a letter to Hilton since they own it now they didn’t own it b4 we made reservations
- 2/5
Didn't like there was no dresser for clothes no microwave no washing machine ..they only maid service one time when we were there 5 nights...no breakfast only coffee ..security wasn't the best

The music playing at Jimmy B’s beach bar. The parking lot is horrible. Parking across the street is difficult crossing. The room wasn’t clean. There were dirty tissues and other trash behind the couch. Had to move couch out a little to plug in phone charger.

Our air conditioner was really loud and when we called maintenance they were there with 10 minutes. After looking at it they said they would replace it. Moved us to another room just in case it took longer. Very helpful
- 5/5
We had not been here in a few years and had found the updates to the property were very nice. The room was much improved and better than expected as well as the pool area and Jimmy B's Beach Bar. We did hear the property was just bought so you never know what the future holds.
- 4/5
no hairdryer, no microwave, no room service. no restaurant other than the tiki hut bar. otherwise a very nice place to stay, right on the beach. two pools. live music 7 days a week.

Very run down. Made u feel like you was in high school with so many new rules. No music at the pool. Couldn't take a cooler to the beach

Nothing Very run down. Made u feel like you was in high school with so many new rules. No music at the pool. Couldn't take a cooler to the beach

Some else's body hair in the shower, on bath towels and on the floor. Missing blind slates in front window. We ended up covering the open window with one of our beach towels. Young boy desk clerk on the middle shift was disrespectful to a older guest, in my presence, who was simply asking about the TV guide and controls. This young man should not be working with the public. Sand on the floors. We know we are on the beach. We've been here several times before and after the closure from the last hurricane. Just thought that it might be different this time. Think the owner needs to invest in some REAL QUALITY CONTROL. I doubt we'll go back anymore

Did not go anywhere. Might visit the area, but will never stay there again.

Resort was beautiful! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Was great to have live music and dancing on the property. Would suggest to have a room away from the bar area if your light sleeper.
- 5/5
Thank you! We had fun
- 4/5
Beachcomber Resort is a great place to stay in St. Pete Beach. I would stay here again. We like how close the beach is.
- 3/5
Very disappointed, and now I’m getting billed by the city for parking in their parking lot
- 5/5
Beach bar and location was awesome. Rooms were nice and staff was extremely friendly. The beach itself was beautiful and fun with was access from the hotel. Umbrellas and lounge chairs were included with the room which is great.
- 4/5
The staff was great but unfortunately I don’t think there was enough meaning there shorthanded the room wasn’t bad but the bathroom could have been cleaner we needed to ask for towels and toilet paper had to empty our own trash.
- 3/5
They did not clean the room the entire week. We had to search them down to get a few clean towels, toilet paper, etc. When you would actually see anyone from the staff in passing, we would say “Good morning”, none of them ever replied. They brag on about Billy B’s, but did not care at all about the hotel.
- 5/5
I love the bar, the party in the night, service I liked
- 5/5
room very nice, Mario super nice employee. wish I could have stayed longer. Maybe a bigger discount for local residents. Would stay again when I have the budget. I have wanted to stay here for a while, finally checked off bucket list. Having the beach and Jimmy Bs a super plus.
- 3/5
Called 3 times. For towels. Finally had to go to desk. To ask still took. Eight hrs
- 4/5
Beach view was good, Jimmy B’s beach bar was excellent, friendly staff
- 4/5
The food in the restaurant was good but not a lot of choices so if you stay more than a few days you definitely will need to leave the property. Each room gets you two chairs at no extra cost on the beach so that is a neat perk. Although only two floors no elevator so you have to lug your suitcases up the stairs.
- 4/5
Liked the live music, the restaurant and bar onsite was super great. It was nice they had two pools and it was a super short walk onto the beach. The only negative was that they did not provide housekeeping during our 3 day stay.
- 4/5
I was a little worried about the noise from Jimmy B's but we were staying in a room closer to the lobby and it was not bad just a little noisy on Saturday night
- 5/5
We had a great stay. The resort was in a great location and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant/bar was perfect and offered drink service to the beach. The resort fee covered on-site parking and lounge chair/umbrella cost which was a great bonus. We will definitely return.
- 4/5
The hotel was short-staffed in room cleaners when we booked, so our room wasn't cleaned during our stay, which is normal.
- 2/5
Room not clean ,for 4 days no house keeper cleaned the room
- 3/5
If you like a loud party atmostphere than this is your place
- 4/5
I had a double bed room, not much space honestly, but it was cost and clean. Individual AC wall units, not central air and they were quite loud. 2 kinda small pools but the access to the beach was excellent. Beautiful beach.
- 4/5
Beautiful beach, nice accommodations. Lo pop No housekeeping over our 5 day stay.
- 5/5
Great staff very clean!
- 5/5
Did not overlook the beach but if leaned out over the balcony we could see the ocean. It’s very close. Location was very good. Room was clean and spacious
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Beachcomber. It is in a convenient location, right on the beach. The pools were well kept. Jimmy Bs was fun at nighttime. It wasn’t too loud late at night if you wanted to go to bed early. You really can’t beat the price for this location. The beach chairs and umbrella are complimentary with each room which was very convienent. You can rent an extra chair for $15 per day. The rooms were good. They are a bit outdated but were kept clean. It worked well for our 3 night stay. They all overlook the courtyard/pool area which is nice. Only part that would make this better was if they had some sort of complimentary breakfeast. It was hard to get groceries at this location if you don’t have a car with you. There is a 7/11 across the street that has a decent selection of snacks and drinks. Overall was a great experience for the price. Would recommend.
- 5/5
the outside bar was great a bit noisy when they go to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning. The doors are very loud when you close them but if you are looking for something to party and have a good time this is it.

On another note, we were traveling with friends. When we arrived, they told us to return at 4 for check-in. We asked why the don’t notify us when the room is ready and the front desk lady said “we don’t do this.” Our friends got a call when their room was ready, so I asked another front desk person (the lady was not there) why we were miss-informed. I was told, “I don’t know.” Overall, the interior of the room was ok, but hair and sand in the bathroom shower and on floor.
- 5/5
Patio room on the beach was awesome. Close to everything loved it.
- 5/5
Great hotel and amazing location on the beach. Large room also.
- 5/5
Very nice, newly renovated.Fun bar with live music, yet the rooms were quiet.Great beach!
- 4/5
Overall very happy with our visit!
- 5/5
So happy to be back! The friendliest staff on the planet. Bar well stocked and happy bartenders. Always live music. Guys taking care of the beach chairs and umbrellas are fantastic. The rooms could stand to be a little cleaner (bleach the corners of the showers!), but it is a beach resort and you have to expect a bit of sand and salt. Can’t wait to go back next year!
- 4/5
The room was clean upon arrival! Housekeeping was great, we need extra pillows and towels. The major complaint we had was the pools were freezing cold! They definitely were not heated as stated. The man at the front desk was not helpful in seeing what the reason was. We realized this hotel was badly hit with the hurricanes and we happy to see them operating again.
- 4/5
Beautiful courtyard to hang out. Room was clean. Lots of people coming and going to jimmy bs. Great bar and live music. Everyone was having a lot of fun. If you want a room on the first floor you need to get 2 beds. The free chairs at the beach with the room was definitely a plus!
- 5/5
Very cute courtyard. We hung out in it every night. Bars and beach a hop and a skip away. Lobby decorated very cute.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic at the beachcomber, except they have only 3 entrees on the menu due to they can’t find help in the kitchen. This is a very walkable area,so there are several places to eat….
- 5/5
Spacious room, clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Aron the bartender made us feel like VIP! He was amazing from the minute we checked in! He made sure we always had the best service. There was a new employee at the front desk I forgot his name he had silver hair he was also great!
- 5/5
The Beachcomber was an adequate property to enjoy a beachfront getaway. Some aspects of the property are a bit outdated while others have been updated. The onsite beach bar and restaurant was handy and free chairs and umbrella on the beach was a nice touch.
- 4/5
Very nice stay, but we were charged and issued
- 3/5
Coms: Rooms are dingy, loud through out the night, no bellman to help with luggage, they offer a guest pass so.tons of people at the beach, no hot tub, main pool looked dirty due to all the stains on the pool surface. Enjoyed the location but a one and done for us.
- 3/5
Shower drain clogged first night, dusty and sand all over the floor. Beat up bathroom with out of date flusher
- 2/5
Housekeeping was mediocre throughout our 14-night stay. Our room was only serviced three times-far from adequate. We frequently ran out of essentials including clean towels, TP, body wash, shampoo/cond. & even disposable cups. When housekeeping did come, they failed to replace garbage bags, restock items, or properly clean the bathroom & floors. The shelves were also very dusty, leaving our clothes dirty. On one occasion, I called housekeeping 2x & left voicemails, visited the front desk 2x, & finally had to call the front desk (a fifth attempt) just to receive basic supplies. At one point, they had even run out of body wash & provided only a small bar of soap. Another time, we ran out of toilet paper & towels & had to search the property ourselves to find a housekeeping cart. On two additional occasions, we knocked directly on the housekeeping door to request supplies, which they handed to us. The property grounds were also not well maintained. Garbage along walkways was not regularly cleaned, & trash cans by the pool were overflowing. It appeared there was no consistent effort to maintain cleanliness outdoors. While the room itself was a nice size & the bed was comfortable, there were other disturbances. We experienced constant noise from heavy foot traffic above us at all hours, & the live music was extremely loud—running from noon- 1230AM. The volume made it very difficult to sleep & it would be more reasonable to lower the sound after 11PM. Disappointing stay.
- 5/5
The bar was well stocked. No beach view but the pool view was nice and a short walk to the beach.
- 4/5
Rooms could be cleaner and updated. There were stains on both couches, boogers on wall's, and no back on either remotes. The walk-in closet light broke on us and they couldnt fix it during our stay.
- 4/5
The room was clean, great location and fun evenings with live music.
- 5/5
Bar was great! Good live entertainment! Staff great. Mark was a great bartender!
- 3/5
Spring break vacay was fun ! It was weird that 3 different occasions people walked in and my daughter was in there. One guy walked in saw her and turned around walked out. Another two guys checking what furniture was in there and then a woman. Had to ask for towels everyday. Other than that place was good,! Jimmy Bs and beach access was great!
- 3/5
Clean room but not as pictured. Very small and tiny bathroom. Lighting is not very good in the rooms either. Staff was kind and helpful. Jimmy B's is always a vibe!
- 4/5
Proximity to the beach was excellent!
- 3/5
This place is mid, severed its purpose. If you are looking for clean rooms, decent WiFi, any sort of housekeeping, space for all of your stuff this isn’t it. Housekeeping only cleaned our room after checkout. Sand in every crack and crevice. From desk was nice every time. Not much of a menu at Jimmy B’s bar and grill.
- 3/5
Did not use gym. A/C noisy and turned off and on all night
- 4/5
This property is a great spot for walkable st Pete’s food and beach access. However, it allows non hotel residence to park onsite, restricting availability to an an already small space for parking. Outside visitors utilize the pools without a key card and the doors don’t always lock easily, leaving access to rooms accessible. Safety is a major concern especially with late night bar participants at Jimmy Bs. They walk right next to resident doors and are loud. Non hotel guests should not park on property and should not have access to pools for free.
- 4/5
The place was nice enough. The first impression was NOT very promising. We seemed to have a "debate" about the room. The person at the counter asked if we wanted to be near the Bar where there was music nightly. We hesitated and she then said, well we won't change rooms if you don't like the choice. That was just unfair since there were rooms available for the entire week we stayed. So there was a significant "hill to climb" from our first impression. All and all it worked out well and the entertainment was not that disruptive anywhere you were. The bar food was good and it was in walking distance of everything we needed for our week. The end results is we will probably give them at least one more try and hope the front desk folks are a bit more welcoming and even friendly since they are there when you walk in and every time you walk by. First impressions matter. Also, there is some construction going on around the area and the site. It did create a distraction in some cases but will eventually make if better going forward
- 3/5
If you want to party on the beach, it’s great.
- 3/5
Rooms were not cleaned often or well. Most of the Front desk staff was not happy and pleasant.
- 5/5
It was a great stay.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. Beach is beautiful and the food is delicious! Rooms are incredibly sound proof which is helpful when there’s a lot going on the the courtyard
- 5/5
The rooms were nice the bar and music were awesome everyday! Beach was great and the staff was wonderful setting us up everyday!! We had a great time!!
- 4/5
Very active location!
- 4/5
Nice location, room was fine. Should have a microwave in the room. Live music during the day would be nice or at least some music around the pool.
- 5/5
Minimalist design for sure. Comfortable beds, great amenities and awesome cocktails!
- 4/5
Fun place to stay for a few days. The beach was absolute highlight....chairs umbrellas, towels on beautiful white sand beach, very helpful staff. Jimmy B bar lots of fun. Big con was paid for beach/stage front room and it overlooked port a pottys, really unacceptable....at minimum should have privacy fence.
- 5/5
The place was over all small but cute very clean and staff was great!! Definitely a place for young adults!! It was a great vacation stay!!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. FRONT DESK ATTENDENT WAS SO POLITE AND ATTENTIVE. Jimmy Bs had nice live music.
- 5/5
Adorable resort. Room was clean and spacious. Beach area was gorgeous and beach staff were helpful and courteous despite the high winds. The younger man who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. The older man at front desk in the morning was nuts banging on our door at 11:05am pushing us out as we were gathering our bags. Anyway pretty great quick little stay overall :)
- 5/5
Great location, loved Jimmy B’s and the live music. Beach staff were all so friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
We love the relaxed fun vibe!
- 1/5
Not worth the money. Pick any where else. Parking is terrible. Rooms smell like smoke. Noise and issues with non resort bar customers screaming all night. Terrible ac. Rooms are small.
- 4/5
Clean and rooms were good, not over the top but great for people that have kids and don’t want to worry about breaking expensive things or keep elder people up. Bar scene is great. Convenient access to the beach, stores, restaurants and neighboring hotels.
- 2/5
Empty coffee lid laying next to bed. Booked a 2 bed queen facing courtyard and got a 1 king overlooking bar roof
- 5/5
Enjoyed the beach, the umbrella and chairs were magical! The staff at the beach bar were great and the music was phenomenal. Would stay again and hope to soon!
- 5/5
Very nice rooms. Love the big windows and views.
- 3/5
A wonderful location in theory. Calling it a resort is a bit of a stretch, it is constantly overrun by locals and others who have not paid to be at the “resort” leaving little room for those who are guests to enjoy the space. No real amenities to speak of but we were there to enjoy the sand and sun which I’d give a 10/10, close to the beach, you always have your 2 chairs and umbrellas with staff more than willing to help out. AC and water pressure were amazing. Pictures are definitely misleading, maybe shows what ONE room looks like. Not to mention the endless noise of construction on the building next door, I feel like there wasn’t much of a break from that and it wasn’t disclosed as “hey during your stay expect several hours of noise daily”.
- 5/5
Nice overall. Rebuilding after hurricanes a few years ago. Great active beach bar on site.
- 4/5
The room was fine and the facilities including the outside bars weregreat. However there was noise late at night with people who had been to the bar walking past the rooms and back out of the hotel.
- 5/5
Newly updated rooms on the beach.
- 2/5
I booked a junior suite months in advance. Arrived and was told not available but I was given an “upgrade”. The upgrade was a king room that faced the bar and provided a limited very obstructed view of the ocean. There was simply a bed, tv/dresser, and a chair that pulled out to be possibly twin size bed but was so visibly soiled I didn’t feel comfortable using in any capacity. I asked the front desk how this room was an upgrade and was told “because it’s above the bar”. Personally, that is a matter of opinion and being close proximity to the bar in my opinion does not make this given room an “upgrade”. I asked for literature on the property, amenities, restaurant I was told “it’s all on line”. The internet service was very patchy and generally there was no service available. Henry at the front desk had very poor customer relation skills. I asked to view a jr suite the next day after checking in and was told none were available to even view. Upon walking the property you could see rooms that had curtains opened and most of these rooms had small table and chairs, small couches, two decorative chairs. The main purpose of booking the jr suit I wanted the living room ambience. The king room “upgrade” I was given only had the very soiled chair/twin sofa sleeper.
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay! Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the fact that we got to use beach chairs and umbrella as part of the resort fee! No extra charge! Live music at Jimmy B’s every night!
- 5/5
The Beachcomber is a fun stay. The rooms are nicely sized, Junior Suite, and totally remodeled since the hurricanes of 2024. The grounds are nice, Jimmy B's beach bar provides live music and is a popular place with the locals. Very friendly staff. Parking can be a little tricky.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Centrally located, surrounded by stores, restaurants, and other resorts.
- 5/5
Everything in the room was brand new and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night of sleep. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a gap between the blinds and the window frame. However, it did not provide a view to the bathroom or bed area. Staff could be seen daily sweeping and mopping exterior walkways. There was an area in the courtyard that was still under reconstruction from hurricane damage, but it did not take away from the overall beauty of the property. Nightly entertainment at Jimmy B’s was an added bonus. I will definitely return for future stays.
- 4/5
Nice pool and good bar area with selection of drinks and live music.
- 4/5
Nice tiki bar and sunset
- 5/5
Such a fun place to stay! You don’t even have to leave! Live music all day. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Fun!
- 4/5
Clean room. Great stay
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Busy - active & fun!
- 2/5
Check in was great and terrible after that. Desk person Mario was horrible and room service didnt leave soap or shampoo twice. Will never go there again.
- 5/5
The rooms were updated since the hurricane, so they are really nice. But it still seemed like it was a drive-up motel style of place. Parking was scarce, but luckily included in the price of the room. A lot of people from outside came to the hotel for the entertainment at Jimmy Bs outdoor bar, so the hotel became busy. My daughter enjoyed the atmosphere (she's in her early 20s). The rooms were pretty quiet even with the live music only yards away. The pool was large, but we didn't have time to use it. The beach was excellent. I would definitely go there again.
- 4/5
The beach was really close and I liked that you got beach chairs and umbrellas included. The pool was very nice. Loved that Jimmy’s Beach Bar was onsite. Live music all day and night. Our room was clean but it could have used more lighting when you had the blinds down at night. Overall, I would recommend staying there.
- 1/5
This place is stuck in 1960. First Floor Rooms are noisy as people
- 5/5

Yes
- 5/5
Perfect location right on the beach.
- 5/5
Did not need to leave the premises. Pools were clean and organized with towels readily available. Grounds neat and clean. Beach was clean with towels and chaise lounges a plenty plus the adult beverages available on the beach. Jimmy B's was excellent. David the bar keep - awesome. The grill menu was plentiful. We will return.
- 5/5
My room was clean and spacious! The staff and whole environment was fun! There’s good food, great drinks, live music, and it’s on the beach! 🏖️
- 5/5
Room was good . Bar staff was awesome
- 4/5
Clean, modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities. Heated pool and on the beach.
- 4/5
Awesome location. Loved Jimmy Bs bar! However the rooms were just ok. The bathroom was tiny. Still construction going on right in front of our room. I asked for pillows the first day and a few other times and never received. And there is no hot tub on site.
- 2/5
We had two windows in the room, one that faced all the industrial air conditioners, and the other faced for big dumpsters. Our TV did not work. They sent up to repairman and neither could figure it out. Definitely needs some updating.
- 4/5
The hotel was great. Clean large room! Responsive staff! On the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Only downfall is the bar has music every night until 1am that is so loud it keeps you awake in your room! Enjoyed but won’t go again!
- 4/5
Could use some updating but comfortable and so close to the beach. Loved having jimmy b’s beach bar with live music 2 times a day!
- 5/5
Perfect weekend getaway. The entire property was clean and well maintained. The location is perfect as well we had multiple options for dining, shopping and beaching within walking distance. We will stay at The Beachcomber again in the near future.
- 3/5
Room was nice. Window blinds sucked. Light comes right through the blinds. No black out curtains. This place needs black out curtains. For the price you pay, it should have decent blinds and black out curtains. It’s impossible to to sleep in with the current window blinds. Way too much light comes into room.
- 2/5
The hotel looked very nice and good was good. But the hotel rooms had no curtains and the the lights outside building lite the room up like it was day time all night and from 10-2am a lot of drunk people walked and stood outside my room leaving the beach bar. And had no regard for people staying at hotel
- 5/5
The location is awesome
- 3/5
The staff was courteous and the room was clean. The beach attendant was super accommodating. It was difficult to sleep at night due to people that were loud coming from the bar especially in our room which was by the bar area. Also the light from outside our window was very bright. The blinds didn’t block it well.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Every thing was great
- 3/5
The room had blinds that were broken that we used tape to close. The room had no lighting other than a single lamp between the beds. Parking was a mess.
- 3/5
Room was new & nice. It did lack curtains so it was difficult sleeping with the room being so bright. Nice new shower but no shelf for shower condiments and no counter space by the sink. Mattress was new but firm. Staff was always pleasant & available.
- 4/5
The staff and location was great! The window coverings were awful. Didn’t block out light so hard to sleep. Could also use small table with chairs for eating in when cool weather. Otherwise loved it all!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, friendly attentive staff, beautiful grounds, amazing music and drinks, best sunsets, can't wait to return!
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating. A special thanks to Mario, Joseph and the entire cleaning staff for being extremely accommodating, helpful as well as very friendly. Enjoyed our two weeks!
- 4/5
Great beach definitely a bit of a party hotel if your room is close to the beach bar you'll hear the band.
- 3/5
Overpriced but overall loved the location and beautiful views from rooftop bar and swimming pool.
- 5/5
Very clean place and a great staff.
- 4/5
The hotel was great. The courtyard was very nice, but still under repair from the hurricane the bar facing the beach in the deck with live entertainment was great.
- 3/5
Amenities

Clean room, great band at the outdoor/indoor pub/restaurant. Very honest staff, I left my purse in the pub and they found it and security immediately brought it to my room with my cash still inside.

- 4/5
Clean room.
- 3/5
Let’s start with the bathroom door, which didn’t just have a broken lock—it simply refused to close at all. Privacy was more of a suggestion than a feature. The TV was also a blast from the past. Not a smart TV, no streaming apps, and no way to cast to it either—so bring your imagination if you want entertainment. The outlets were placed in locations that made you question the architect’s life choices. As for the air conditioner, it worked hard… at making noise. Adjusting the temperature didn’t cool the room, but it did successfully increase the volume, which was impressive in its own way. That said, Jimmy B’s was fantastic and absolutely saved the experience. Great vibes, great spot—and honestly the main reason we’d consider coming back.
- 5/5
Amenities are wonderful! Live music at Jimmy B’s, free beach chairs and umbrella when you stay at the resort. Very clean rooms.
- 5/5
I have been staying at the Beachcomber for years, always a fantastic experience. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The room is very spacious, bed super comfortable. Location is great, Surf Shop, 7/11 & Dunkin’ across the street. The Live entertainment, beach bars & Jimmy Bs never disappoints. The views of the beach and sunsets are spectacular! Can’t wait to go back.
- 5/5
We love everything about the Beachcomber. Location, staff, room, pool. Not the biggest fan of Jimmy
- 5/5
Wonderful resort! Excellent staff and facilities. I would highly recommend the resort!
- 5/5
We love coming here. We were so happy to hear they were opening up again. We love Jimmy B's too. Great bands, great atmosphere, great views, grwt people....all around "great."
- 5/5
Very nice rooms! Very clean, just a great place to stay all around. We also ate at jimmy b’s and it was very good and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Perfect in every sense.
- 3/5
Been coming to the Beachcomber for 20 years and I have always loved it. This last stay was after they re-opened after the hurricane. Overall, it was pretty good, but not like the good old days. They used to have fresh coffee in the lobby and the front staff back them just seemed more welcoming. They used to have a small gym back in the day but that is now gone and instead they send you to the gym up the street, which I saw, but felt it was a bit too crowded. But it is the Beachcomber and I will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Great place! Cool property, nice room, and very friendly staff. Wish I had found this place sooner.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms, nice pools, easy beach access, very friendly staff
- 5/5
staff. location
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room, and jimmy b’s never disappoints.
- 3/5
Very basic room. No luggage rack, ice bucket, glasses-requested and they brought. 2 towels.
- 4/5
room was clean. limited tv channels
- 5/5
Due to renovations, there was excess foot traffic by our room going to Jimmy B’s. There were many available rooms on other side of resort that would have been quieter.
- 5/5
Love this place, will stay here whenever I get the chance!
- 3/5
We have stayed here several times and while we enjoy this location we were disappointed this time. Asked if junior suite was available was told no however we were informed the following day that the room riight next to ours was a junior suite and had been available when we checked in. OTv

- 5/5
Love the place
- 2/5
Room and hotel was not as described on the website.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Bars are great highly recommend.
- 3/5
Check in was great! The issue was the undisclosed $38 additional cost resort per day charge that was not clear when I booked on Expedia.
- 4/5
Very nice staff, great beach access, Menu needs to be expanded at tiki bar.
- 3/5
There was construction going on. A lot of noise. One pool was closed. We had to change rooms for plumbing. The gym was off site. There was no laundry facilities.
- 3/5
However, I was not aware of the construction going on, the one pool being closed and the walkway was paved with mud/dirt on Wednesday 12/17/25 when we arrived. I would suggest providing the rooms with water and soap, shampoo daily.
- 4/5
Very clean and staff was great!
- 3/5
Refigerator did not work. Several lights did not work. Overall stay was not the best, but i was in florida where is was warm.
- 3/5
Pools closed & next door construction going on - no closet space in room and window units not sufficient for cooling. Also should have room darkening when now treatments / drapes….draft blows and vertical blinds shift…people walking by can see into room….need full length mirrors and keurig coffee machines
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Great location, awesome entertainment, super clean! Be back really soon!
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
I did not get the room I booked. Paid for a king size bed and when checking in was only offered 2 queens. My husband and I are newly weds and slept in separate beds. Fine, not a huge deal however when asked for the price difference between the two rooms, I was denied TWICE! Said something about their policy and guidelines. I just don’t understand the world we live in and how careless people or companies seem to be now. By the way the majority of the place is under construction at the moment so not a lot of free roaming.
- 5/5
Everything was nice. Beds could be a little higher off the floor , otherwise very nice
- 5/5
I absolutely love this place. Haven’t been closed due to the hurricane. It was really a surprise that so much have been done. Everything is as I remember. Great service from housekeeping. The food was awesome and it’s always a good time. Going to Jimmy B’s at night.
- 4/5
Great bed Could use a microwave for leftovers
- 5/5
So glad it’s open again. As a local, it was an emotional stay even though there was still some repairs ongoing.
- 5/5
Jimmy B’s was a great beachside bar with great live music every day.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Great to see them open again after last year’s hurricanes. All the staff were wonderful and the room was perfect. And of course, it’s THE place for beach bands!
- 4/5
Great sunset
- 3/5
Pros- great location on the beach! Cons- security lights shine in your room the entire night, bar/grill has live music which is great until you get no sleep the entire time, your back will hurt after you sleep in those beds, we had ants all in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Amazing place beautifully new renovated rooms. Staff very friendly. So glad to see the place back open and thriving
- 5/5
…
- 3/5
The room was uncomfortable and humid. They need new beds, very stiff and unpleasant. They were doing construction and I couldn’t get the room I wanted because of it and I didn’t find out until check in.
- 2/5
I’ve stayed here many times. This visit, the rooms smelled of mildew so badly it was unbearable. There is construction going on so hopefully they are working on a much needed renovation?
- 4/5
The pools and bar
- 3/5
There is a good deal of construction/renovations currently happening right now. So if peaceful quiet in your room durning the day is important, then you might skip here until the renovations are complete. The food on property was ok, nothing special, but the music at night was super fun. Overall, I'd stay again due to the staff and location. The rooms are ok, again nothing special, but met our needs for our 5 night stay.
- 4/5
Beach, pool, live music, all in one location. Fun.
- 5/5
Chairs and umbrellas very nice .only complaint is small bathrooms
- 2/5
The property needs a lot of work both outside and in the rooms. They are doing construction on the outside of the hotel. I asked the front desk when they are going to redo the rooms. His response was they were redone 3 years ago. The rooms were pretty disgusting. We had to put towels on the couch to cover the stains. We’ve stayed here about 6 years ago and remember it to be a lot nicer.
- 2/5
Rooms were small no microwave and the resort fee was way to high
- 4/5
The Beachcomber provides a great beach location on soft sand that lacks the sharp shell pieces that are left by beach renourishment. The native plants leading to the beach are beautiful and protective. The buildings are two story, with a nice garden area between and have been partially renovated to a fresh decor. The larger pool is a perfect size for real laps and the smaller one a good option for separation if the large one is crowded. The rooms are spacious and clean I wish smoking had not been allowed in the area directly outside of them.from a crowd that
- 2/5
Property was under construction and construction noise started between 7 & 8 am every morning. Construction was right outside of the pool area with noise from workers and jack hammers all day. Construction was not noted on the website nor did anyone make us aware this would be going on. The first notice of this was upon walking in the building to check in. I feel the resort purposefully is not making people aware so they do not lose business. In the meantime all they have is unhappy guests that will not return. This was not the relaxing vacation we were hoping for and have had at others resorts in the area.
- 5/5
Great location and good amenities
- 2/5
roaches everywhere , i could not sleep
- 5/5
Amazing location and the bar is incredible!
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Beach bar was great. Beach was steps from the property. Pool was clean. People were nice. Loved my stay.
- 3/5
Property was ok, had some remodeling going on, so that’s good. Rooms could use some upgrades as well. Was ok overall
- 4/5
We come here often
- 5/5
Gorgeous location - steps outside our room to the pool, beautiful pool. Cabanas and umbrellas with chairs were all set up on the beach. All the staff from font desk to the bar to the beach were just amazing! Highly recommend
- 3/5
The lobby was very nice. The rooms need to be renovated. The sofa bed was gross. I wouldn't sit on it. The wall in the room was damaged. Hair in the bathroom, sink did not drain well. The bar staff was wonderful!! The room, next to the bar was what we asked for. The pictures made it look like we were over looking a courtyard. We were not. We were looking directly at the back of the service entrance to the bar. They were bringing carts of booze and equipment back and forth by our room. I planned to listen to music all night but not to hear the carts at 4am and again in the morning.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Building needs some paint and work. Beach was beautiful Jimmy Bs was fun
- 5/5
So close to the beach. Great bars and restaurants on the beach. Also a chair and umbrella included with your stay. Front desk people are really nice and helpful!
- 2/5
Additionally, for the price, the rooms were in need of a deep clean. They were damp and had a mildew smell. Also had to wait for the second day to get enough towels for the four people in our room. Tried to call, but our phone didn’t work. Definitely dissatisfied, but we of course made the best of it. Lots of options on St Pete Beach. Will be moving on to other locations in the future. Happy Note- check in was pleasant and AC worked.
- 5/5
The tiki bar is very large and draws a big crowd from the hotel and walkins. Great property!
- 3/5
This hotel is very old and needs a lot of work. They have renovated one pool, which was very nice but needed more chairs and umbrellas. Doors to room and to the bathroom are rusted and really unsafe. No place to sit inside other than on the bed. Manager was not very kind.
- 4/5
Joe bar manager very welcoming
- 4/5
Nice location on the beach.
- 4/5
2pools, restaurant, live music and 2 minutes and on the beach. Chairs to use on beach.
- 2/5
The room had a bad smell and the maids never came to fix the room the shades didn’t keep out the sun because they were torn and worn out the property has construction going on and u can see they were going to fix the rooms but they should have tried to accommodate us . They said someone would come see us never did .we went to get towels they were out and they charged us for resort fee but charged us for beach chair . The pool was nice but I did cut my foot on a piece of glass that was near the pool stairs . The hotel does need attention
- 5/5
Affordable (included: parking, cabana, umbrella, beach towels), directly on the beach, great service (allowed me early checkin), clean, average beds, two nice pools, with a large beach bar and restaurant with live music. David manager was awesome!
- 5/5
Staff is amazing.. property is amazing. Jimmy B’ is my favorite
- 4/5
Hotel is located on the beach, Jimmy B's is connected to property. Updated room.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Had a great time other than the weather which was no ones fault. Will like to visit again.
- 3/5
Need to get better in cleaning
- 1/5
I've stayed here a few times in the past, as a visitor from New York, and always recommended the resort to friends due to my wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, I won't be staying or recommending again, after the recent experience I had...which sucks, as I'm now a Florida resident, who lives just an hour away. I won't get into the details regarding my situation but the way it was handled by the 3 people I spoke to, including the manager on duty, was not just disappointing but left me wondering if customer service and problem-solving are even part of the training for the staff. Again, I hate even leaving this review because I loved this place so much, but I had to say something. Good luck to everyone planning a stay here in the future, I hope your vacation is incredible and without any hiccups, because if there are any issues, do not expect the staff to be empathetic, apologetic, helpful, courteous, or the least bit accommodating. 😔
- 3/5
The actual building/structure needs upgrading. The room was outdated and "kind of" dirty. No microwace in the room. The front dest staff needs to smile a little more and be more friendly. Some of them were like robots. The bar, beach/pool area compensated for evrything else.
- 3/5
Jimmy B's excellent as always. Poor quality refurbishments mean that the hotel rooms are showing their age already. Not value or money - or even close to it. Great staff though.
- 4/5
Room cleaning was disappointing one day but when brought to the attention of the front desk, it was resolved quickly and efficiently....the housekeeping manager oversaw the re-cleaning and left her card....very pleased about that.
- 2/5
The rooms were outdated and dirty. Old Q tips were found in the drawers. Dirty sheets on the bed. The floor in the bathroom was gross. Hair was in the shower wall when we arrived. The couches in the room were torn and dingy looking.
- 5/5
Did not like people smoking by pool and at before rooms. Otherwise nice place
- 4/5
The property was not bad but the pictures did look a little different than in person. Great staff and convenient location. Do wish they had rugs in the room, we constantly got sand from the beach on the floor. Parking could be tough and wish they also had a microwave in the room. The property was a 7 out 10.
- 5/5
Alice at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She even recommended laundry service when we ran out of clean clothes. The property was well kept and convenient. The only complaint is not knowing construction noise would be going on during our stay.
- 3/5
Private access to the beach. Two very clean pools. Friendly, accommodating staff. They work hard. The sleeper sofa is softer than the bed. The room is not quite as described and is small and dark. For what we came for, this was a great place. But we spent most of the time on the beach, including at bedtime. Highly recommend THAT. You do get two chairs and a cabana or umbrella and free parking so that is def worth the cost. They are doing some renovations so maybe room upgrades are coming?
- 3/5
We really liked the location of the hotel, and Jimmy B's beach bar/restaurant was excellent. However, we will not stay here again as the hotel is pretty outdated. We even had to move out of one of our 2 rooms and switch to another because the room we started out in has an obvious mold problem. We have no complaints about the staff, they were great! It definitely has its ups and downs though.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Beach is awesome. The only negative is parking. It can be a nightmare at night when the beach bar is crowded.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved the Beachcomber. The staff was great very knowledgeable about the area gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Jimmy B’s bar in the back of property was great for food, drinks, and entertainment. The rooms were clean . We will be back!!!
- 5/5
Amazingly convenient location.
- 5/5
Great beach access , lovely garden and communal areas.
- 4/5
Live music is practically all day and evening.
- 4/5
Always a decent stay. We got the patio leading out to Jimmy B’s to be closer to the ocean. However, we didn’t account for the music until midnight. It’s a decent hotel and I’m glad they finally updated it. I wish the pool had more umbrellas, though.
- 5/5
We had a great stay for a #bachelorette trip here! We were able to pre-check in to use the beach/pool before we checked in which was great! Rooms were clean, staff was nice, lots of amenities! We would definitely book again if back in the St. Petes area!
- 4/5
Parking on side of building was horrible. No way to turn around. Have to back out all the way to front.
- 1/5
Easily the dirtiest and worst “resort” I’ve ever been to. Stay somewhere else . Staff was super nice , only positive. Horrible parking, rooms, etc..
- 1/5
The pictures are very deceiving. David was more than accommodating and I thank god for him! I’m not one to bash establishments. The beach was beautiful.
- 2/5
Literally roaches, had to move rooms
- 2/5
L bano de la regadera negra de moho puertas oxidadas gabinetes roto del bano olor humedad en la habitacion no vuelvo mas.
- 4/5
Beds are uncomfortable and hard - need an upgrade, amenities and beach bar is awesome like always.
- 3/5
Room needed more cleaning. Found last guests bracelet on floor. We didn’t go to bed til late. When I laid under the actual blanket it was covered in sand. So tells me the sheets weren’t changed from previous guest.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
I mean whats not to love !!!! Definitely coming back
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 4/5
Convenience and great beach vibe
- 5/5
Loved the daily live music and the restaurants near by.
- 5/5
Very good location
- 4/5
Just spent the 4th of July weekend with you. First let me say your staff was amazing. The courtyard and pool area was very nice along with the beach amenities However the rooms need some TLC the bathroom sink leaked, the shelves above the sink are too low hit our head several times. the blind in our room was ragged the furniture looks worn and the beds are very hard. I don’t want the take away to be it’s horrible because it was not it is a perfect place for a beach stay where you can have drinks relax and enjoy the entertainment at Jimmy B’s as well as the beach!
- 5/5
Nice room, junior suite, 50” flatscreen was awesome, bathroom was nice, looked updated, plenty of linen , cold mini fridge, had 2 pools, a small one and a larger one, both looked clean, the restaurant was at the back of the property on the deck with 2 bars, but we didn’t eat there. We walked thru to the boardwalk that lead to the beach. We enjoyed our stay, parking is limited and tight and that was our only issue. We would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
The rooms need updated terribly! The beds and pillows are not comfortable. The location is great. Jimmie B’s is a must and love that it is at this hotel.
- 5/5
We love staying at the Beach Comber. Friendly staff and a great beach bar.
- 5/5
Beautiful beaches, less crowded. Property was nice.

Terrence, from the front desk, was so pleasant and helpful. He even lent us his personal umbrella when we were faced with a thunderstorm just before we were about to head out to attend a wedding.

The room was not cleaned during the 4 day stay. There was a large dead bug and a worm in my bathroom. Reported it 3 times. It was still there when i left. No chair in the room. Jimmy B's was the positive point of the property.

The court yard was cute the bathroom had mold in it and rust all over doors

This is the best beach hotel i could ever booked! We had so much fun and the best part is that we didn’t had to leave the hotel cause they have everything you need . Nice restaurant, nice view, beach entrance and the cabanas.

We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our experience in the Beachcomber Beach resort. Views of the sunset and beach were amazing and were only a 2-3 min walk.

The outdoor atmosphere of this property was truly great! I wish the rooms weren't so outdated because we would definitely be coming back. I loved the live music entertainment but we were also able to sleep in our room when we wanted without being disrupted by it. The parking is not great - very tight and limited number of spots. We enjoyed spending an evening out by the courtyard where we could hear the music in the distance but also carry on a conversation. We would consider staying again if it would save a significant amount of money compared to other properties but would prefer and updated room.

Great stay; convenient and fun for both adults or family/kids

Perfect for our 1 year anniversary, our room was next to Jimmy B’s where we had the best night of fun. Went to Stella’s for breakfast and still had time for a clutch nap in the room before hitting the beach.

A fairly good quality hotel right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Excellent bar and restaurant on the premises. Great live music every day and night, and a dance floor. Gorgeous beach with plenty of loungers and cabanas.

Room was run down. Shade was broke but called desk and they sent someone out to fix it. Not the best room but this is the next location on St. Pete beach!!

We have stayed here several times when we want a quick escape to the beach. I know they updated the rooms a few years ago and in general, the decor is cute and I like the room. However, we have noticed that the blinds in some rooms are still very old and dingy, which is kind of a let down given the other cute decor. This time our blinds were so dingy that they were ripped, stained, and caught up in the roller so bad we almost couldn’t even get them to pull down. We were only staying for one night so we didn’t feel the urgency to say anything. However, I would have if we were staying longer. It won’t prevent us from staying here again but it’s definitely something that I hope to see updated soon.

The beds are hard as a rock. The bathroom, was not quite clean, with hairs in the shower and on the floor. We received no maid service.

Great older hotel, comfortable beds, close to many restaurants, onsite restaurant & bar, great boardwalk leading to the beach, chairs & umbrellas available very nice staff! Cons: Fixtures could use some updating, 2 pools larger pool doesn’t have many layout chairs leaving it more on a first come first serve basis get out early to be by the pool if you want a seat, smaller pool wasn’t as busy. Requested a late check out and was declined. Overall for the price really liked the hotel I would stay here again!

I love the live bands as we always stay in the Jimmy Bs room. I was happy to be able to get excellent assistance from the gentleman in the morning as I booked an earlier arrival and was able to get into room very early next day great job. Although during checkin the front desk gentleman was not very friendly and customer service may not be what I’d say is his type of work. I will stay over and over again as I’m not that type to rate a great getaway based on one person who is not very friendly. Management may want to adjust his job I truly believe there’s a certain job for everybody.

The staff are actually my favorite part of staying at the Beachcomber resort on st Pete beach in Florida. Very friendly resort. It’s the only place I stay at when I’m there.
