Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the beachfront location, pools, and friendly staff. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the cleanliness, outdated rooms, and hidden fees such as parking and resort fees.
- Beachfront location
- Friendly staff
- Hidden fees (parking, resort fee)
- Outdated and unclean rooms

So great! Sunsets were our favorite part!
- 4/5
It’s the construction. It was an eye sore and loud at times. My beach view was 85% obstructed by a new bar they are building. We could see the ocean at an angle. Like looking to the side and then big black plastic fences were a part of that side view. Disappointed. But the rum runner poolside bar and courtyard were awesome and helped. I also felt like inside my room looked exactly the photos. Very nice. Overall it was good, the staff and adorable courtyard made up for dealing with the construction.

Rooms were clean, staff super friendly, nightly music at Rumrunners was perfect. Definitely coming back

Amazing stay!!
- 5/5
Sirata property was easily assessable to the beach, which is a plus for me. The location of the property was easy access to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed my stay and would return to the property. The restaurant on the property had delicious meals. The property was clean. The pool was small.
- 4/5
Our room did not have a safe as advertised. We paid resort fees but had to pay extra for beach chairs.
- 5/5
Property was very clean and staff friendly. Prices at restaurant/bar VERY EXPENSIVE and have went up in price. We had a great stay all together.
- 5/5
Daily activities for kids were wonderful.

Beautiful and relaxing resort. Love the updates.

Limited space here, rest on their Google review. Complete failures

i have tried to call regarding my bill which was overcharged no one has called me back there was consturction going on constantly during my stay i go every year very disappointmed no construction room was filthy and smelled like mildew
- 3/5
This is my second time here and it is getting worse, you have to pay for the umbrela and the chair separately and they are 18 dollar each the pool is smaller and it was full, there was not easy to find a parking late at night.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay!
- 4/5
Good location, clean, on the beach, bar Under construction, price is a little high for what you get. Basically a small crowded room. Amenities are blah, elevator was half working, some rooms are outside not inside.
- 4/5
Beautiful beach and pool area with a poolside restaurant and bar . Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I can make would be the cleanliness of the bathroom, shower grout could have been scrubbed better to remove mildew.

Horrible experience. You gotta pay $70 per room extra fyi when u check in. Resort fee and parking. So $700 for 1 night. No one would bring sheets and blankets. Or answer phone. I had to hunt down the sheet room and a person. The lady at desk was just on her phone not answering the phone nor did she put phone down when I went in. Ordered kids some fries… $7, had 10 small fries. The beach chairs I was told was in fees, nope another $70. Won’t return ever.
- 3/5
Parking was $25 a day and theirs a $40 a day resort fee so don’t think all you’re paying for is the room price. I would give it overall 2.5-3 out of 5 stars…. Staff would get a 5 star rating.
- 3/5
Stayed in the white building (new reno)room was nice no complaints. Bar staff was rude, especially at Harry's beach bar. Lots of construction going on. Parking was limited Would consider staying again once renovations are finished.
- 4/5
Plenty of parking.

The room hadn't been cleaned the beds weren't made and there was a bag of garbage behind the door. When I went to let them know the man at the desk acted like it wasn't his problem thank God there was another mental man there im guessing was maintenance
- 3.5/5
On the beach. Accommodated us having to leave due to room not fitting our family. Not enough beds for our families, shower leaked onto bathroom floor.

Tampa International Airport is one of the best airports in the entire United States very easy to use lots of things to do while you're waiting great restaurants and just a very upscale ambiance thank you Tampa International Airport for making such a great Airport
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was very helpful. We stayed 3 nights and the cleaning staff did not come by once to restock towels. We had to request more towels one two occasions but staff brought them to us promptly. The bartenders at the pool bar weren’t very friendly but every other staff member was very kind and helpful. We didn’t know one of the pools was going to be closed during our stay but there seemed to be plenty of chairs at the other pool to still get a spot. We had a great stay and will likely stay here again. It is perfect walking distance to many restaurants and Publix.

Tv didn't work. Could never get local.stations to show up.

Rooms weren’t kept cleaned well/ out dated. Outside amenities have been updated
- 4/5
This property is under renovation and will have some great new amenities.
- 3/5

If your #1 priority is looking for a place to stay where you can walk out to the Ocean, this meets your needs. However, the room cleaning only came by every other night and when they did come by, it was late in the day after you had already returned from the beach and was looking to get ready for dinner. In addition, the water pressure in our room was so bad we felt hair products (shampoo and conditioner) never was fully cleansed from your body. Not to mention the water constantly leaking from around the shower curtain. I travel quite a bit in my professional career and this hotel was not what I would consider a value or a place we would likely stay again if given other options. Having the restaurants on the beach was a convenience and the staff did say they would credit our bill $75 for the lack of cleaning. All in all though, this was a disappointing stay vs other places we have stayed on the strip in St. Pete.
- 5/5
Nice hotel great location from pass a grill
- 2/5
My room was in disrepair including Briana nd missing items and significant filfth in the room. I reported and was offered a smaller room in similar condition though next to a group of adults drinking, smoking and hollering. I stayed in my original space. The whole place is in need of renovation and is not as advertised.
- 3/5
Wish they would have offered us a new room after we walked in and there fridge was broke.

Bad experience
- 3/5
Read everything. Parking is $25 a day plus a $40 a day resort fee (not sure what for) the chairs on the beach are NOT complimentary they too have a daily rate. $350 a night for a standard room I really didn’t expect extra fees and having to pay for beach equipment. The soap in the rooms was the best thing about the stay in my opinion. Lather brand soap was awesome.
- 1/5
Construction noise all day. Not relaxing and horrible view because of all the building and construction
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and all the amenities were amazing. We especially liked the atmosphere.
- 4.5/5
Rooms were beautiful and recently renovated. My mom's handicap accessible room on the first level was amazing, as was the balcony King suite that my husband and I stayed in. Housekeeping not very responsive, but we talked to the front desk and they assisted and even gave us a monetary credit toward our stay which was much appreciated.

The guys working on the beach selling cabanas were very kind. I'd give an A+ to them.
- 3/5
nice beach! loved the refrigerators and kitchen area, floors in room were not clean. lazy cleaning staff. pool area was really nice. difficult parking due to construction and messy outside. rooms are old and out dated however, not bad if they would just do a little work to update. doors were hard to close and loud and noisy, so it was difficult to be quite when members of family (child) are asleep. loved the laundry. just a few things and you are a 4 or 5 star guys ...really just get your stuff together.
- 3/5
Not as pictured they forgot all the annoying families letting their kids run through the restaurant. They needed to get to the play station beside the stage? Most important the bathroom in our room was ridiculous. The sink was on the outside and the toilet was right against the shower. You can’t close the door because the doorknob fell off. It was so small it was a joke. The photos show the top of the shower? For the amount we paid for a view of construction with the beach not worth it. If I had known I would have looked for a different room. The food is awful at both restaurants. No real meals. Aside from the chef who wouldn’t accommodate or change my sides due to allergies (I had steak it was awful), the staff were very helpful and friendly that was a nice plus.
- 1.5/5
Our room view The construction! I understand it needs to be done just wish we would have been told somewhere sometime during the booking arrangements

Everything was perfect especially the beach crew! They were there with everything you needed. They were pleasant, smiling, and their personality was awesome! A great group of people. Our stay was perfect.

We did have to go to the front desk to check in and for information at the sister hotel the Sirata Beach Resort which was not the most convenient, however, the staff at the front desk was great. A few shout outs to the following: Megan Dave Mike Celeste All were extremely informative and helpful.
- 3.5/5
The room I reserved with a non-refundable clause was NOT available. I was not aware until I was checked in. Supposedly unfinished construction was the cause but I’m pretty sure they would have known that prior to my arrival. The 1st room they tried to give me did not even have a patio. The second had a patio no ocean front for me. I was offered $75 a day for use on the property and $45 a day refund for the resort fee. I really didn’t have a choice but to accept the offer

Beach Maintenance was not great, bathroom had rust stains in tub, floors felt sandy, gates to pool needed replacing

We experienced a full brawl at the the pool. 20 plus people fighting. No security. Drink was poured on us. Not a safe environment with no security. Took awhile for the cops to show up. Children were hit as well. Will never come back. Building was ran down construction was everywhere and loud. We had dinner at one of the restaurants and food that we didn’t order was charged to the bill.
- 4/5
Staff were professional and helpful. Shelly, Manager, assisted with resolving a room reservation upon arrival. Our room was not available due to construction and Shelly found us an acceptable alternative immediately. Soecual thank you to Susie and Lina. They both were friendly and accommodating staff at the restaurant and bar. Construction delays caused rooming issues.

Close to the Beach Everything was horrendous. Super expensive. Dirty. Reception people VERY unwelcoming. Absurd that beach umbrellas and chairs were not included in the SUPER EXTREME room price - WAY overpriced for what was given. Broken door. Couldn’t walk barefoot in the room. NASTY couch. Wouldn’t seat on it if you paid me, let alone sleep on it.

The room itself felt outdated and poorly maintained. There was visible mold/mildew in the bedroom area around the air vent, which is especially concerning when staying with family. The bathroom and overall room condition also showed significant wear and did not reflect the quality shown in the online photos. Another frustration was the hidden costs. We were aware of the resort fee before booking, but it was not made clear there would also be an additional daily parking fee. Those extra charges quickly add up and should be disclosed more transparently upfront. The biggest issue overall was feeling misled by the advertising. Had the photos accurately represented the current condition of the property and all fees been clearly disclosed, we likely would have chosen another hotel. The one positive was that the staff we interacted with were friendly and polite, which we did appreciate. The location was also convenient. However, management really needs to update their listing photos and be more transparent about both the condition of the property and the additional fees guests can expect.

- 3.5/5
The beach and views were beautiful. The pool was nice but crowded. The pool bar and grill had great food and drinks. Service was good there. My room was spacious and clean. Only one elevator was working so you had to wait for ever. Most of the family and friends had to wait hours for their rooms. Which was hectic as we were there for a wedding. Also our toilet didn't work right and it took hours to get someone to fix it. Thankfully we got the kids ready in my parents room. The price is a bit expensive, I would expect quicker resolutions and a working elevators.
- 3/5
Harry’s beach bar closed substantially earlier than advertised - which was annoying - you could have walked to another place - but when we booked we were under the pretenses that it was available!! Most of the outlets in the room didn’t work and some didn’t even have outlet covers - the washcloths had stains - the couch was stained in multiple places - we payed a decent amount of money to stay here and was not impressed overall!
- 2/5
The hotel was under construction, the room floor had scratches, the sink had scratches, the balcony chairs and table were damaged and the shower was patched. The pool bars were nice and had good food.
- 5/5
The pools were excellent and we especially appreciated the free laundry room, which was a nice added convenience for a longer stay. The front desk staff was also outstanding. When we needed to extend our stay and our original room was no longer available, they quickly helped us get another room directly across the hallway, making the transition incredibly easy. We also loved the live music and overall beach vibe at the resort. The biggest drawback was the food service at the outdoor bars, which was extremely slow throughout our stay. Because of that, we’d probably choose to eat elsewhere next time. Even with a few issues, we would definitely stay here again because of the location, views, amenities, and helpful staff.
- 3/5
Clean room but everything in property is outdated. Restaurants are okay and wildly overpriced. Location is great and staff was friendly enough
- 5/5
Everything was a ok, we'll be back
- 3/5
Could be cleaner
- 3/5
Still very under construction. The rooms feel motel, and not fully put together. Dominick at rum runners is the best bar tender on property!
- 5/5
The beach
- 3/5
No free beach chairs 19$ ea. a day. Umbrella 19$ a day. 25$ a day to park at their hotel parking lot. Not advertised. Bad business policy. Won’t stay again.
- 1/5
This place looks nothing like the photos. The property is dirty, the beach bar closed at 5pm on the weekend. This was a complete bait and switch
- 4/5
staff very friendly beach view is Noisy from the construction going on Bar good
- 1/5
Bar staff good. Bar food good.
- 5/5
Nice spot 2 beach bars though both are not close to the water you can still see it from Harry’s . Live music in the afternoon was great . Carl .. very talented . Room was very nice . Big. Comfortable beds . We would stay here again .
- 5/5
Good view of the ocean from our balcony…some construction being done on the new pool and bar but was not an issue The staff were excellent..our room was cleaned daily…the food was good and well prepared. The hotel and surrounding area was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
Resort was great. Some construction going on but will eventually make the property even better. The only draw back was if you wanted to sit on the beach you had to rent or buy chairs and umbrellas. That was the only drawback.
- 2/5
Room was dirty, service was not helpful when you really needed it but for simple things they were helpful. When called to get room cleaned someone came just to take the trash, not mop the floors that left our feet black upon walking across the room. The rooms humidifier was full and upon entry smelt like mold. There were also snacks in our nightstand that were left from previous guests. The property is beautiful but the rooms are not.
- 5/5
Staff was so pleasant. They allowed me to check in early as my flight changed.
- 5/5
Clean room, great location on beach…
- 2/5
Great views. Pool was nice. Restaurant was yummy :)) However, location was under renovation, so very loud construction. No house keeping when asked. Will charge you a nonrefundable $200 ($40 per day) for “amenities”.
- 4/5
The views and the staff were amazing, rooms very clean. The only reason I didn’t get a five star is because they’re in the midst of remodeling and there’s noise, and parts of the facility that we can’t use. Shout out the Meghan, Kym, Cornelius and Stephanie!
- 1/5
I used Expedia to book my stay. There was a glitch somehow, some way. The dates they booked me for was the same day. Kinda ridiculous. Then they said no when I tried to adjust the dates with a modification. So, I didn't stay at the resort. Paid full price for nothing. And nobody cares. Thanks to everyone who "helped".
- 1/5
The room was a disaster they had pictures for room from other places but when you get there Wao thy has humidifier installed humidity was 93 when we get there , restaurant and people there was really bad we had to go after 1:30 waiting on the table and manager of the restaurant is the worse. Never come back and was just for 1 night.
- 4/5
Would have been nice to know they are under a tremendous amount of construction.
- 5/5
The room we were in 1538 had an unobstructed view of the ocean but was overlooking the roof of an adjoining building. Updating of the facility was in progress. The staff was friendly and the rooms very clean.
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk were very accommodating when I asked for a room change. The room I was put in first was overlooking construction that’s ongoing.I have been to this hotel several times over the last 16 years. I always enjoy my stay. I will be back.
- 5/5
No ocean view
- 2/5
they had wedding an private party going on out back by the bar an pool area. Did not have face cloth when taking showers my last two days . Asked cleaning lady an she had no clue an told me to go to front desk. They told me when they have them they would send them to my room. Never happened.

We could see the beach from outside our room. The room was pretty clean. The building itself is a little older but everything was working. OK air conditioning was fine and the staff was wonderful. We have been going now for 11 years and we keep coming back. Travis does a wonderful job so does Sharane

- 5/5
Beautiful area, restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great staff at restaurant.
- 5/5
Lots of upgrades being performed so there was considerable construction being done and some services were not available. Looking forward to the updated property.
- 2/5
Be aware this is not a hotel, is a motel in the middle of construction, furniture and space feels really old and ran down, you could see it on the stained sofa fabric and scratched vinyl floors, low ceiling and really feels like a closed up space…very misleading photos, be careful when booking it, you will not be pleased with the room! itself, we had to call to cancel it as the “ocean view” was poor, and only seen when outside the room on the hallway… go figure! we were able to move the reservation to the newer side managed by Hilton, the hotel manager mentioned this situation happens very often… even though we booked ocean view we ended up with a room facing the road! Not recommended make sure you do your research for cost vs benefit.
- 1/5
Room not as expected
- 2/5
However, Deacon at front desk did as much as he could to make up for the problems
- 3/5
The AC worked well. There were no sheets, blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa. I walked to down the front desk and they were to send them up while we were out to dinner. When we got back, none had been delivered and reception/housekeeping were closed. My husband had to walk to the Sirata next door to find someone to provide the linens for us. The door was rotted at the top causing us to have to slam the door shut every time - disturbing our neighbors and the walls were so thin. The pool area was nice but the bartender was rude. Won’t stay here again :(
- 1/5
Reserve an Ocean view room. They only had a parking lot View available. The front desk. Agent was rude and refused to refund the difference between the rooms. I had to speak with Management in the morning who apologize and told me they would refund the resort fee, which would be the difference between the rooms I never received a refund. I had to open a claim with Expedia and with my credit card company if you don’t have the room available I understand, but why should I have to pay for an oceanfront room when you just happy staying in a standard just refund the difference what is the big deal? I’ll never stay here again.
- 1/5
I have stayed here for over 20 years and I have to say I have never been more disappointed. I understand they are going through construction, but this was a disaster. We had to change rooms because of the filth. When we got our next room it was also disgusting but at that point we just gave up. Are keys never worked, literally went through 10 keys. They shouldn’t stay open until they are finished. Disappointed!!!!!
- 3/5
The pool area wasn't very clean, specifically the hot-tub. Access to the beach was AMAZING.
- 5/5
Many local places to eat nearby. We did have a small incident that we spoke to the front desk about and it was handled immediately and fairly. Would stay again!
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean beach. Nice enough rooms. Would go back.
- 3/5
For the price, this hotel was mot worth it. We couldn't use the firepits all weekend due to 3 separate private events, the room AC didn't work properly, and the restaurant breakfast at the hotel was not good. The people working there were all very nice, but this place is extremely over priced. They also added on $300 at the end of our stay without ever telling us we had to pay a daily fee for parking with our 1 car at the resort. I do not recommend.
- 5/5
Love love love the atmosphere
- 3/5
The room was very nice and big The door was VERY hard to open and close, I needed to kick it open and close which probably woke up the neighbors , The balcony was not useable after the rain, it was standing in 4 inches of water and not draining . The staff were very nice at check in and there was a mix up in the room but we were compensated for it. The lobby was clean and big , parking was good even with the construction
- 2/5
Our room was located in an older building. Still clean but not as nice as the main hotel. We had a pull out couch for our kids but no linens or pillows.
- 3/5
During our last two stays, our rooms were noticeably worn and in disrepair. At the same time, much of the property is under active construction, with limited visual barriers and an overall unfinished feel. Blocked walkways force guests to walk through parking areas to reach beach access, which detracts from the experience. Renovations are understandable, but pricing should reflect the conditions. This level of disruption should also be disclosed at booking so guests can make informed decisions. We hope to return once updates are complete.

Our visit started with check in giving us the bare minimum information. Told me my credit card would be charged $50 for resort fee and then proceeded to hand me my key. Doesn’t say what floor or anything. We had to figure it out. Made it upstairs to our room and noticed the floor was dirty. It was so dirty that we had to wipe our feet before we got into bed. All in all the bedding and shower were clean. We couldn’t get into the gym because the door was jammed. A visitor who is a locksmith had to pry it open. Then at 3 am I noticed a charge on my card for $25. I had to call and ask and was greeted with a I don’t know what you are talking about and we close charges at 3am. Thank you Mahmoud for your kind customer service at 3am. I’m kidding. Would I return? No.

No Beach view, just side view
- 4/5
Construction we were unaware of. Super clean, super friendly staff.
- 2/5
We were not notified about the construction starting everyday at 7:22am. There was hair in the shower that after 3days of alerting staff was never properly cleaned. Fresh bath towel was extremely dirty. No bath mat delivered on day 2 at a beach resort. The property & amenities were 5 star housekeeping ruined it.
- 1/5
This place was a bit of a dump. The room we were in was in disrepair. The bathroom had a 6x6 gaping hole in the wall. The water for the shower would not completely shut off. The front door had to be slammed to get the lick to engage. One and done.
- 1/5
They was so unorganized u ask for simple things that they couldn’t provide like house keeping giving u fresh towels our suit didn’t have washcloths just big towels they gave us the run around only was nice it’s the beach and the got so much construction going on hopefully it will get better I do like the area
- 5/5
Nicely update room. We stayed in the 1 king bed suite, had a double balcony on the top floor. Great beach views, good amenities, easy access to the beach and other restaurants in the area. They are building a new pool/bar/restaurant and that didnt even bother us, nice they are upgrading on the beach.
- 4/5
Staff is always so wonderfully
- 2/5
Room was dirty. Cigarette butts in corners of the room. Clraning staff left bags of garbage and old linen from orevious guest in the hall right outside our door for over 24 hours, we had to love it because the wind was blowing and bags were very loud.Trash in the pull out couch. Bathroom was so old and the floor was lifting. Main lights in the bedroom and living room didnt work. Doors dont seal so little bugs get in. Tv screen in living room was broken. Only good thing about this property is the beach. Will never stay again. Front desk staff wasnt helpful.
- 3/5
Our stay at the Sirata was disappointing. Our room was nice and mostly clean. However, the grounds and outdoor spaces were considerably less numerous and less impressive than the pictures indicate. There is a construction project going on that blocks the view of the ocean from most of the resort spaces. The main pool, restaurant, and sitting area has a view of a parking lot on one side and a black construction fence on the other. The other pool pictured with a fire pit is accessed through a parking lot and construction. This pool bar closed at 4:00 each day and the staff packed up the couch cushions when they left. The fire pit was never lit despite cool evening temperatures. There is a game room. It is a few arcade games in an otherwise unfurnished room. The echoing noise from the games was so intense we couldn’t stay and play. I probably could have looked past the construction inconveniences, but this hotel also makes you rent beach loungers. This policy ads a layer of planning and family agreement that makes a vacation with older kids so much less enjoyable. There is no option to go to the beach for a while and then to the pool without feeling like it was money wasted. The poor vibe meant that we spent our evenings at a neighboring hotel instead. I definitely feel misled by the Expedia pictures and reviews. There is no “resort” feeling. It was much more like a roadside inn with updated rooms. Hilton should to better during this renovation.
- 2/5
This hotel is under construction, and lacking staff. Would not recommend.
- 3/5
Was very upset that all the construction going on at the hotel was never even mentioned when I booked online. No indication at all that there was much renovation taking place at the hotel. If we knew we would not have booked a room there!!! Very poor not letting customers aware ahead of time. That is poor business practices.!!!

Overall the hotel looks nice. One we got into our room we realized we had severely overpaid for a motel room. Our shower required a secret combination of twists and pulling to turn on. Our toilet struggled to do its duty. Our air conditioning ran continuously and never reached an optimal cool temp. The TV was quite small for the room and we had limited kitchen utensils & dish wear. The pools are nice and redone, small for the amount of people staying at the hotel. The pool bars have pricey drinks and pricier food. We did enjoy our cabana, $100 for the day at the beach. Although they don’t offer drink service in the beach, so we had to keep walking back to the bar. Parking was painful as well bc they block lots of spots for the ongoing construction projects.
- 5/5
They have construction going on but we still had a beautiful view even though we could see construction
- 3/5
Best spot on the beach, certainly. However, the resort was dated and tired.
- 3/5
The beach view was obstucted would be labeleda partial view at best , current construction going on and was not aware until we got there. Paying for umbrellas and chairs at the beach from our resort was not advertised, would have chosen elsewhere. Good attentive staff at both Harrys and Rumrunners! Food was pretty good and the drinks were delicious.
- 5/5
Family trip, hotel room was nice and big enough for all of us. Balcony w/ ocean view! Hotel had many activities for the kids which was awesome! We will definitely be coming back.
- 3/5
The pool area was nice and Rum Runners had good food.
- 2/5
Pricey. Our room has no window that can be opened or balcony. And if you want to go to the beach and use their umbrellas or chairs you have to pay. Not even a discount you pay the same price that people that don’t come from the hotel. Very expensive for what it is.
- 5/5
Always our go to place
- 5/5
There was some construction going on there as they are building a new pool.
- 5/5
Place was great! View of the bay was amazing and I loved the beach and bar access on the property. Would stay again
- 3/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 1/5
This is definitely not a resort, however, charging resort fees. There’s no restaurant only a pool bar with chips and salsa which by the way was nice. The pool was nice also the balcony view from the best room offered by This hotel has is extremely nice, but the balcony chairs were broken & the the room itself was trash.. old and dirty.. never again!! They did the bait and switch trick.. we booked the Serata but ended up right next-door at the shores.
- 4/5
For the cost, the housekeeping was not top notch, the food menu at Rum Runners and Harry’s were along the lines of pub style. I think you can find a better place for less money.
- 1/5
Property is under construction. Our room was disgusting we had to wash our feet immediately after getting out of the shower because the floors made our feet so dirty immediately. There was red sauce like dried splats all over the floors and on the wall, dried boogers or something on the head board, the couch was torn up, some hook was broke in half on the wall. The WiFi wasn’t working or connecting to anything, the tv wasn’t connected to internet to allow you to watch Netflix. The microwave in the room didn’t work. The key pad to get into the room was broken so our keys didn’t work and had to keep calling the “engineers” to help us so it took us an extra hour to check in after getting our keys running around the hotel trying to get new keys, talk to front desk, get engineers to get us in. We kept calling front desk for help and no one would answer. All of this isn’t the worst thing in the world and I am certainly no Karen but when you charge a $40 a night “resort” fee when half the amenities aren’t working and general cleanliness is ignored it’s pretty ridiculous. Thankfully they refunded us the $200 resort fee after complaining during checkout but just unfortunate for how much we paid for this vacation. We stayed here last year and it was great we absolutely love it but we stayed on the Sirata side. When booking we saw The st Pete shores side was cheaper but had same amenities so we thought since the Sirata was great we thought it’d be fine. It became clear they are v diff
- 4/5
Lots of construction was going on at the beach area. Staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. Room was great for the sleeping arrangements we needed. Floor of our room was gritty and dirty. Bottom of our feet were black.
- 2/5
Property is old and in need of an upgrade. For example, door of the room was hard to open, as was the front entrance which is difficult to go through when trying to carry luggage. The layout of the hotel is a little convoluted, and the elevators are rundown (they tend to close quickly, too). The small pool was okay and the Rum Runner restaurant is average and currently noisy due to construction of new restaurant and pool, which was not mentioned in advance when booking was done. It’s the only option for breakfast and the service was slow. The room itself wasn’t bad and a good size. But there was no luggage rack for suitcases and the safe deposit box is down near the floor with shelves above, which makes it difficult for those who are older and struggle more to bend over. There was no room service during our two night stay. This property is geared toward families and teenagers, so it’s a little noisy at times but quiet when time to sleep. My biggest objection was a 5 star price for a 3 star hotel. I have been in many different hotels of different levels of quality in many different locations and this was below average when comparing the quality versus the price.
- 1/5
What this hotel does not disclose is that the property is an active construction zone. The entire place is under renovation—potholes, construction cones, fencing, and yellow hazard tape everywhere. Construction noise runs daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, including weekends. This is not a vacation environment—especially not for families with young children. The “Shore side” rooms (where we were placed) are in unacceptable condition: • Broken patio furniture with holes • Dirty toilet upon arrival • Cigarette butts left behind • Mismatched, worn-down furniture This is basic cleanliness and safety being ignored. We also requested adjoining rooms for our family. The front desk admitted there were still unoccupied rooms but refused to accommodate or make any adjustments. Zero effort to help. This was not a budget stay—we paid a premium price for what was advertised as a family-friendly beachfront experience. Instead, we got a construction site with unsafe conditions and misleading marketing. If you’re traveling with kids or expecting what’s shown in their photos—do not book here.
- 4/5
We had a great time. Two good pool bars and nice pool areas. Some construction going on but it wasn’t bad. This is a good property for the price. Not 5 star Ritz Carlton but good family beach hotel.
- 5/5
Great spot. Didn’t like how to had to pay more for a beach chair. Could understand cabana but not a regular lounger. Everything else was excellent
- 1/5
Building 4 I stayed in is horrible and the bed was sunken in. I guess 1 and 2 was renovated yet I had to pay the same price for low quality. Will not go back nor do I recommend.
- 1.5/5
The cleanliness of our unit was not what I would say “clean”. The unit is dated and could use newer furniture. The floors were absolutely disgusting. If we didn’t wear shoes our feet would become completely black. The bathroom floor corners by the tub should be attended to, as well as, cleaning or replacing the air filters. The chairs on the balcony were an accident waiting to happen with the seat almost broken through and if sat on would break under you.
- 4/5
The beach was visible from our room. The room was not real clean & we had to ask for linens for the sofa bed. There was only 1 working ice machine for all 5 floors & many mornings there were no pool towels available. Staff was friendly. Apparently the hotel is being demolished soon for a JW Marriott to be built in its place so I don’t think they’re putting money into St Pete Shores for any improvements.
- 2/5
Our overall stay was among the worst I've experienced. From check in to check out. The staff was indifferent and couldn't care less about your concerns. The place was under construction and work was noisy from 6 am.until late evening. Pools were overly crowded with teenagers there for a baseball tournament and not properly supervised. The staff did nothing. The teenagers were rowdy, pushing other's in , jumping, diving and running around making it impossible for others to enjoy themselves and feel safe for their small children. Staffers did nothing. Bar area's closed early. Food was only served in the bar area, no indoor service. TV in the room was not working, volume was only available through headphones, again staff did nothing. Room service skipped our room twice, had to ask for towels and have trash removed. Overall for the price of over 600 per night, I expected much better. Will never return. Nor will I ever recommend..
- 3/5
The room was small but clean. We got fresh towels daily. The beds were comfortable; the pillows were very flat. Wifi worked well. Property itself is average. Pool is nice but small with no lounge chairs available by 9am each morning. Beach area is great; must pay for chairs and umbrellas. Lots of construction in the beach area so must walk a ways to get to and from the water. We ate and got drinks at Rum Runners. Our food took a very long time despite not being crowded and was average. Drinks were fine but another patron overheard the bartender asking us for our room number for the tab and they added their drinks on. We caught this on the receipt at check out and it was fixed. Activity board in the lobby did not match what was actually going on that day. In all, a very average stay.
- 5/5
Great time
- 2/5
For the cost , there are far better places to stay. Our door key was permanently not working and the original room was not available.
- 2/5
Shabby motel within the larger Sirata Neach complex. The place must be getting knocked down soon, it is awful. I spnt over £300 pounds to stay here, then got charged a $49 service charge - for what im not sure? At most property is 1 or 2☆ - read the recent reviews before booking! Toilet didnt flush, water wouldn't drain from the sink, stains on pillows, litter on the outdoor walkways to room doors - absolutely gross
- 3/5
Rum runners and Happy Harry’s bartenders and waiters/waitresses are 10/10. :)
- 3/5
On site construction was loud
- 1/5
The room was surrounded to be ready at 4, but wasn’t ready until 4:30, I requested a pack and play 3 times and it wasn’t delivered until 8pm and left outside our door with the sheets and blankets. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and dirty with stains all over the linens and curtains. There was food left in the freezer and the floors were dirty. The ac made a terrible loud noise all night and the toilet kept running. The hotel was old and not well kept. The only positives were the beach access and the wait staff by the pool.
- 3/5
The staff were amazing. But do not stay in building 3or 4.
- 1/5
Room wasn't ready at 4. We had a hard day and we both are handicapped. They asked to switch us to another room that was ready and comparable. I asked if still ocean view and they said yes. Got to room, NO OCEAN VIEW!! Only view was of courtyard. We were too tired to ask to be moved again. We were very upset as this was a special trip and had not seen each other in 40 yrs!
- 4/5
The room was 1.5 hrs late for check-in but they credited us $50 at the restaurant to which we didn’t get a chance to use. There were no wash cloths or hand towels in the room, only regular shower towels.
- 4/5
The place is nice. They are under construction so some of the beach access is a longer walk but didn’t really affect our trip. Overall it was a nice place. The food was good and there are options. staff was great. The room was clean and service came in everyday to make the beds.
- 4/5
It was ok
- 1/5
From the moment I arrived, I had ongoing issues with my room key not working. After multiple attempts and repeated trips to get it resolved, I explained the situation to maintenance, expecting assistance. Instead, I was met with accusations that I was being dishonest in order to get a different room, which was both unprofessional and frustrating. The lack of basic customer service and the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a calm and important night before my race. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re expecting a smooth and accommodating experience.
- 3/5
Check in was a mess. Room wasn’t very clean, sink had hair and a braces rubber band and wouldn’t drain. Walked all the way to the check in counter to ask if someone could come clean the bathroom and housekeeping was already gone for the day. They gave us a different room. Walked all the way back to the new room only to find out the keys wouldn’t work. Walked all the way back to the front desk and had the reactivate the keys. Walked all the way back (there are 4 separate buildings and ours was not near the main check in) and keys still didn’t work. However, on the second trip down there I had asked for the direct phone number (because it’s not listed and the one on the confirmation email was not right) so I called the number and after waiting 15 min outside in the dark someone came and reprogrammed the door loc so we could finally get in. Property had 2 pools and one hot tub and was located on a nice beach. However it was rather run down and not very clean. I found out they had recently be bought by Hilton so they may be in the process of fixing it up but I was a little disappointed overall.
- 3/5
We stayed in building 4 king ocean view room. Definitely outdated but overall decent. Rumrunners is perfect for breakfast and drink. We’re going to wait until the renovation is complete to return and try out the updated rooms.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and the beach was beautiful
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The run runner restaurant was delicious and perfect for breakfast and lunch. Convenient bar right next to pool. Construction was going on which should have been disclosed because the noise was annoying. But I’m sure it will be beautiful when done.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our 1st ever visit to St. Pete's Beach. Our condo at St. Pete Shores Hotel was comfortable and in a good location. There was quite a bit of construction adjacent to the hotel which took away from the view from our balcony, but the typical noise experienced with construction was not an issue at all. So overall the construction did not interfere with our trip.
- 3/5
We were not told about the $25 @ day parking fee that would be added to our bill. While the bathroom was large it had no counter or storage space. It didn’t even have a towel rack. We did have a patio that we enjoyed. We also enjoyed daily live music.
- 1/5
the room smelled and was not happy with the price we paid. i’m from Tampa and expected what the pictures showed. we was enjoying ourselves at the beach which was the best part about the trip and was told we had to move to accommodate the wedding that you had. we were paying customers and then my granddaughters had to go thru another hotel to get to your pool and then was told to had to leave the pool because the didn’t have a key on and that never happened to us before
- 5/5
Everything was great considering they are under construction. The shower curtain was not clean but the rest of the room was clean. Both pools were open which was wonderful!
- 2/5
My stay started off poorly with blood on the sheets, and I had to ask staff three times before someone came to change them. There was also no hot water, and the shower had extremely low pressure, making it difficult to shower properly. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the condition and the location of this hotel. Along with, no postive engery from anyone at the bars or restaurants.
- 4/5
Room was very nice, clean but terrible coffee in the mini coffee maker, microwave did not work well, refrigerator wobbled and had tendency to cut off. Enjoyed the stay, but they are still doing a lot of construction/clean up from previous storm on the outside of the facility, thought it was a little pricey under the circumstances, but overall enjoyed.
- 3/5
Great location, great staff but they should really let you know the property is under construction, because of this the walk out to the beach and coming up for a drink is far, had I known this I would have stayed somewhere else.
- 1/5
Not great
- 1/5
Room was filthy not mention lobby had no one there for over an hour 20 minutes so we couldn’t check in til late then got horrible directions to our room and were outside going from building to building trying to find our room just to get inside the room and it looked like it hadn’t even been clean. Oh and they charged us a $300 deposit
- 3/5
Great location. Close to restaurants and stores for basic needs. Beautiful beach and nice pool. However, the room was shabby and needed updating. The shower didn’t have much water pressure. It was fairly noisy until late at night - the rooms must have very thin walls because you could hear everything. Overall not terrible but also not great.
- 3/5
Did not have a kitchen and didn’t overlook the beach
- 3/5
Room didn't overlook the beach it overlooked the parking lot. Housekeeping was minimal at best. Restaurant was closed remodel ????? It was mid all the way around
- 4/5
There was still sand on the floor after cleaning. Soap wasn’t refilled when it was gone. Some chipping at the paint in the bathroom sink. Overall, these are minor things. I love the location of the hotel and would stay there again.
- 3/5
The food was very good. We did not have a beach view. We did have to ask to have our room cleaned on three of the days and it wasn’t cleaned until after six pm.
- 5/5
Everything
- 1/5
The tesort canceled without any notification and did not resolve the refund issue
- 1/5
When we booked this property, we were never told that there was going to be construction the entire time. It was noisy and it smelled. Our room was far from the pool and ocean and the maid rarely came to check on us. We had to go find her when we needed toilet paper for our room.
- 5/5
Room was clean standard, food was ok, construction going on which was ok not an issue.
- 3/5
Needs help!
- 4/5
This is our 2nd visit and will return.
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
The resort was nice. Had no complaints. Would come back again.
- 4/5
Rum runners food and service was fantastic. Once construction is done I think the view will be great along with access to the beach. For the amount of money spent, I would have thought that beach chairs would’ve been included, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a nice place and I would go back.
- 3/5
Main restaurant is closed. Rum Runners service and food was not good. Did not try Harry’s after 2 bad experiences at Rum Runners. Went next Beach was beautiful!
- 4/5
No easy access to beach during construction a shuttle should be provided
- 5/5
Best view of the sunset and close to some amazing restaurants!

Did not eat there Under construction, but it didn’t interfere with our time there.
- 4/5
Very enjoyable stay! Staff were cheerful and enthusiastic😊 had interesting situation with the room lighting one night couldn’t shut lights off in the kitchen room and the next night lights over the bed wouldn’t shut off!!! Made sleeping interesting😅 run runner staff made great drinks and food was good. All in all beach pool and location made for a great time! Bus to John’s Pass was great! Rides from Rum Runner to the Beach and umbrella and chair set ups would be great!! All in all we hope to see you next year probably January or February !!! Thanks for everything!!
- 3/5
The front desk charged me over 10 thousand dollars! They had a glitch i guess!! Our view over looked the air-conditioning unit which was extremely loud
- 1/5
We never got our room cleaned and requested it to be done every day for the entirety of our stay. Furthermore, we had issues with the air conditioning and requested it to be fixed and it was fixed after three days. The hotel reception does not answer the phone at all, and if you have any issues at all, good luck! Also everything is extremely overpriced for a 3-star hotel.
- 4/5
Lots of construction, I am guessing improvements. The room was clean. The staff was nice.
- 4/5
Rooms were large
- 3/5
the problem with this hotel is the ridicules fees they hook you with a lower rate then nail you with a $45 per day day resort fee that is for the use of there room phone and other made up stupidly....then on top of that $25 to park your own car ...add that to the price of there lower rate another thing that really shock me was wanting to have a beer poolside is the insane price ...$10 for a 12oz plastic cup of draft beer ..add $6 for a well drink
- 5/5
The maid service is sub par but the rest of the resort was very clean
- 5/5
Great outdoor area and the lobby and individual rooms are very nice and updated. Hallways/elevators could be cleaner but not horrible.
- 2/5
Overall, disappointed by the entire stay. Had I know, I would have paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. Would not recommend.

Rooms are Dated need some upgrades
- 5/5
Everything was beautiful! Currently building a new pool, but it still was very nice. Food was great, drinks were good. We had the balcony suite facing the ocean it was beautiful!
- 2/5
Bathroom sink looked like it had been painted. Paint was cracked and peeling. Curtains were wrinkled and stained. $40 per day resort fee added on. Tried to charge me $25 dollars a day for parking at the hotel. Never heard of such a thing! I had a meltdown and it was lowered to $3 a day. Should have been zero! Beach is awesome. Pool was warm.
- 1/5
Don’t let Expedia fool you with the perfect photos. This property is currently under construction and the entire time all we heard were cement trucks and drilling. The beach was closed off due to the construction. We had absolutely no idea this was happening before booking. Also, they have a few different buildings. We were given a room in one of the buildings that is set to be demolished soon. The sliding glass door croaked and groaned as we tried to pry it open. The elevators were dirty with what looked like pee stains on the floor, not to mention the glass. Buyer beware.
- 2/5
Location Not clean, construction going on, tried to cancel and booking.com told me that the resort wouldn't refund us.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean room in close proximity to pool and beach.
- 1/5
Patron sitting in a lounge on the pool deck smoking at the pool. No room service - supposed to get coffee - 2 bottles of water daily - never received anything. Went to front desk get a comforter as there were none on the beds - waited 30 minutes then after 4 hours we still didn’t have them delivered. Music at Harry’s bar was very loud as we sat on our balcony. Door was paper thin and noise from people walking past our room every morning very loud. Construction site on the premises- would have been nice to know about this. Parking fee that was also an extra fee.Arrived after 4 pm - room not ready - staff said they’d call and text when room ready - at 6pm no call or text we went to the front desk and finally got into our room. Room was filled with dust- on end tables - cupboards etc - very old and outdated - desperately needs updating. Locals parking and entering the resort without paying was observed daily.
- 3/5
The room was great. The food and services they did have were good but no choice for food or the 3 pools they advertised
- 5/5
Every thing was excelant.perfect.courteos.etc
- 4/5
Staff was super helpful, rooms were clean
- 2/5
Badly stained furniture, drapery Didn’t want to set on furniture Entire facility was not very clean with beach construction going on constantly with not notified when reservation was made Will Not Stay Again POOR! For the money
- 2/5
room was in poor condition, flooring was buckled, door would not open at railing to enjoy the ocean air, and other aged condition. It was also susposed to be an ocean front multiple bed room and we got a ocean view at best. The main restaraunt listed was not open and we had to go to other places for dinner and breakfast. Much construction going on making it difficult to enjoy views and the noised started too early. We stayed here approximately 5 times in past years and had enjoyable stays, but not this time. I do plan on going further with reviews in different sites so others can beware, Expedia is the other culprit in this as this is where I purchased the room.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Nice staff. Construction noise was not welcomed. Hard to get to beach with construction. On premise bars are way overpriced
- 3/5
By the sink. House keeping was inconsistent with restocking the coffee and water and the floor felt like it wasn’t swept all week The body wash was empty when we got there and was never replaced or refilled until the day before we left Charged us a daily fee for parking, which most resorts include in their resort fees Charges for beach chairs and umbrella were extremely high, not many people using this service due to the high prices Love the location and the beach-food at Rum Runners was great.
- 1/5
Disappointed in this stay. Dirty sheet and blankets. Had to request 2 times before it was resolved. I expect better from a Hilton property.
- 3/5

I chose sirata on Expedia based on pics and positive reviews, and Expedia changed it to st Pete shores, without my knowledge, very deceptive dirty unclean sheets with sand no crib as stated, horrible service never again will I book with Expedia, BEWARE this is a hole in wall my understanding is it is being torn down after much research, very shady practice by Expedia
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 3.5/5
We loved the pools and the proximity to walking onto the beach The rooms were a little outdated and worn. There was a ton of construction going all day every day right next to the pool that wasn’t posted. The staff had conflicting messages. We checked in thinking one of the bars was closed. Or maybe open for drinks but no food. The bar was in fact open and had food. The bartender admitted communication was not great around the facility.
- 4/5
Doing updates and construction.

1st day there was no heat. They sent someone up to fix it in a timely matter once we called it in. 3rd day there was no power. We walked down 8 dark flights of stairs & went to diner. The 4th night we had no water. They sent someone to fix it fairly soon after i turn
- 1/5
This was our fourth time staying at this property. We were in building 4 which is more ran down than other buildings on property. When we arrived, our balcony door wouldn't open. On day 2 the bathroom light stopped working. We were told they didn't have any available rooms, yet there were clearly multiple empty rooms, including the room right next to us. Harry's Bar wasn't open most days. And they're doing construction on a new pool/restaurant area so it was very loud during the day and they have a huge beach area tarped off so you have to walk clear out and around to actually get to the beach. The morning we checked out for an early flight, they had the entrance and then all passage ways blocked off with cones and plastic. It was absurd! We watched a garbage truck try to pull in and have to reverse out, and I had to move cones so our Uber could at least pull in and turn around to pick us up. It's frustrating that they're adding on to the hotel when several areas they already have are in desperate need of renovations. We will not be back.
- 2/5
Hotel restroom’s were very dirty, the room didn’t get clean. Five star pricing, one star quality. In the past I’ve had friends stay, no more save your money and go to the Beachcomber.
- 1/5
Lots of building work going on to expand the hotel but they could do with updating/maintaining what they already have. The staff at reception and the two outdoor bar/restaurants were great and it’s an ideal location. But I would suggest picking a different hotel.
- 2/5
Had a second room that was not as nasty - we had bought some disposable cups, silverware, and snacks for the room and left them on the table, but the throne time we had it cleaned all of the items were either thrown out or taken.
- 4/5
Room was good once we were able to get in. Never received final statement when we checked out either by email or hard copy.
- 5/5
Updated, clean rooms; friendly & responsive staff; great location. Check-in took a little longer than expected (due to Valentines Day weekend) but hostess quickly made amends with food credit.
- 3/5
Make sure the room don't smell really bad before you let the guest occupied. Better food service very slow.
- 2/5
The resort was very dated. The front desk staff was non responsive when we had to ask for a blanket 4 times during the day. A lot of construction was going on with 1 pool closed and outdoor bar closed. We were not told that when booking.
- 3/5
Yes but for the price the room was just ok for a crappy view and small room
- 2/5
Check in the computers were down. Couldn't find my reservation. Was supposed to pay $45.20 upon arrival, was charged 121.95 and now 2 days later I've been charged another 121.95 When I booked the room it said nothing about a "partial beachview" but we were facing a construction site and had to peer over the railing to our right to see the beach. We went to the beach to escape the construction at home so a heads up that the adjacent building would be a worksite bright and early was a huge bummer. The guy with the leafblower before checkout as we were trying to enjoy some coffee was equally as irritating. The room was dirty; Floors and baseboards were disgusting and there was an inch of dust on the beside tables, lamps, clock and phone. The sink fixtures in both the bathroom and kitchen looked like they hadn't been wiped in many uses. The bed was comfy. I would never stay here again :(
- 4/5
Great food. Clean room.
- 5/5
Very nice facility and excellent room, very clean!
- 2/5
Overall disappointed. They are going through construction which we were not aware of. The pictures are very deceiving. I’m sure that’s what it looked like at one point but it certainly does not now. They have pictures of the beach as if they have access and chairs, but they don’t. Pools were cold, even though they said they’re heated. Splash zone was freezing and not a soul was in there. Food was overpriced and not good. Got “upgraded” to a new room because of the renovations and it did not have a separate room which we desperately needed for our little kids. So no sleeping went on either. Not the relaxing vacation we were hoping for.
- 2/5
Only 1 pool heated due to huge construction that had things closed. Elevator floors were disgusting. Balcony sliding door didn't slide, it was old long past needed replacement. Price per night was waaay to high for condition of this property!
- 5/5
Everything was clean and very well kept
- 2/5
I stayed at this property for a girls trip, there were 3 of us. We opted for a family suite for more room. The room had a queen bed, pull out sofa bed and bunk beds. There were no sheets on the sofa bed or the bunk beds. There were also no wash cloths in the bathroom. We had to ask 4 different times to get, sheets, wash cloths and a blanket. That was the day we arrived! The next day we had no cleaning service or clean towels. So we asked again. I did also ask if we needed to ask for this service daily and was told no, it should just be taken care of. We also ran out of toilet paper! Shelly at the front desk was wonderful! I don’t think that I would stay at this property again based on my experience.
- 4/5
Our room was very nice in the main building. We had a suite and it was updated and clean and very nice with an open view. The restaurant was closed, but you could order food. The beach looked clean and well maintained as well.

There was no mention of a remodel, room was mostly done. Door stuck do to sagging door frame tub had rust issues, patio was a little old. Staff was great but if you’re paying for nice and beautiful accommodation, it shouldn’t be a screen saver no matter what time of year
- 2/5
We didn’t have any sort of sign to put on our door for housekeeping to leave us alone and she came slamming on the door at 9 o’clock in the morning and woke us up. And then the next day she was in the room next to us talking so loudly that it sounded like screaming at 8am. Linens on the bed were soooo starchy and scratchy.
- 1/5
Great location, but anything else, not so much.
- 4/5
Staff were great, very friendly. Room was clean, well appointed
- 3/5
Weird stay. Booked at Sirata, says St Pete Shores hotel. Never wanted to stay at St Pete Shores Hotel. Did stay at Sirata. Repeatedly got asked to pay more fees and more money no matter how many times we were told we’re settled, staff just said “our system is saying….” First night had to move rooms bc smoke detectors blink and first room was over our faces and also was told front desk can’t change our remote batteries (tv remote was dead) and they had to wait for maintenance LOL. Stay was mid and expensive w all the extra feels. 2 ppl and a car is an extra $120/night just to be at hotel. That being said, hotel was clean and staff was friendly
- 4/5
Day bartender Dominic was great - great service , check in was greet by staff
- 1/5
The room was very dirty with cockroaches on the floor and in the bathroom and muddy floors. All the furniture was very old and worn out and dirty. The room smelled a lot. We could not even sleep the first night. The front desk staff was courteous but had no solution and alternative for another room. I am not sure how they expect guests to live in such a room on their vacation when everyone wants to have a relaxing time. We had to check out early next morning as they could not offer an alternative room. We have emailed and called the hotel multiple times with no response. Expedia’s customer service was not helpful at all. They did not understand that when we book a package from their website - they do have a moral responsibility to cater to their customers. Not satisfied with the way they handled our request This hotel is really worn down and needs extensive renovation.
- 3/5
Everything felt kind of old. Lots of noises. Areas under construction. Beds were comfy. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
The check was as easy and friendly as I have ever had
- 5/5
The staff was great. Our room was immaculate and we had beautiful weather.
- 2/5
Paid extra for ocean front. However due to the stucco balcony railing you couldn’t even see out unless you were stand up and near the slider. And even then we had a building with transformer or whatever directly in our view. We were told no other rooms available when we complained.
- 4/5
Cleanliness not up to standards. Had to clean floors.
- 2/5
the room smelled like mildew, you could see water lines on the linens.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome a little disappointed that Harry’s beach bar was gone, but it was a great experience
- 3/5
Property was clean, staff great. Buildings showing their age in some spots and on rooms but not a problem. For the price, was a good deal.
- 5/5
Modern and spacious room.
- 5/5
Just a very peaceful few days
- 2/5
We are unable to get the heat in our room to operate properly and couldn’t get hot water not very happy with this at the price we paid
- 3/5
The room was nice, not worth the money. Construction going on, it was terrible. No heat in our room, they brought us blankets and finally someone came into fix it. I would never go there again or trust Expedia. They only had one restaurant, and for New Years eve it was the beach bar! How tacky was that with the cold weather. We planned on having a nice dinner for our anniversary, but we had to walk around to find something. It was the worst anniversary and New Years we ever had. They should have offered coupons for local restaurants, or free nights to make up for their hotel being worked on with no direct knowledge And they knew ahead of time on our anniversary, and nothing was done! Oh and then the fire alarm went off so we had to evacuate. I use a walker, which they also knew ahead time, so my husband had to carry down 7 flights of stairs. He is 70 years , I could go on and on, but I settled down and felt like I could write tis honestly and calmly. Yes, I still they should give us two nights, but that is up to management . Respectfully, Debra Rieth.
- 5/5
It was a good time.
- 5/5
I will be there next year and for years to come I had such a wonderful time
- 5/5
Was a wonderful experience
- 5/5
Clean room with beautiful view of the water. Really nice on site amenities. Great pools. Helpful and nice staff.
- 5/5
We loved our room/suite. Roomy clean, and cozy. Nice balcony with view of beach.
- 5/5
Excellent location, great staff always willing to help.
- 5/5
Location, cleanliness, spacious room. The only issue we had was with expedia not noting we wanted an ocean view for our anniversary. Sirata was wonderful
- 5/5
Wonderful staff—especially Glen—and a great location steps from the beach. Loved the suite with balcony.
- 3/5
Included amenities aren’t on par with nearby resorts… even with small things like shady areas on the beach or chair and umbrellas. Also, the tropical view rooms at TradeWinds is miles ahead of their premium ocean view room. Also, common areas are mostly rundown. Definitely not with the price.
- 5/5
Room was perfect I would’ve like to had a heads up about parking price was ridiculous expensive and no supervision what so ever as much as we guess have to pay other thatn that great place
- 5/5
Room was nice. Views and beach was great. Convenient to dining. Very well staffed.
- 1/5
The room is not at all like the one in the pictures. The room has so much dirt and fuzzy stuff on the ceiling. The floors appear to have had a flood. The bath tub looks like it’s never been cleaned. The sink needs to be replaced. The refrigerator has do much thick dust. I’m not sure if the bedding has been changed between guests.
- 5/5
Room was clean & had everything we needed. Staff was always helpful. Pool was wonderful. I always enjoy going there.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, awesome pool bars and easy access to both pools and the beach. Kids didn’t want to leave.
- 2/5
Staff was great. Property is under MAJOR renovations!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Amazing stay!
- 2/5
They charge $25 per night for parking. Am I supposed to park elsewhere and walk to the resort?
- 1/5
You can’t compliment anything if you can’t take a hot shower before you go to bed!!!
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful with changing rooms as our first room was terrible old and dirty. We were upgraded to a new area of hotel and completely enjoyed the remaining time
- 2/5
Room was old And run down
- 5/5
Yes the view of the beach was alsome the staff was great very clean and very comfortable the only issue was room service was down but Internet problems I think with the restaurant I would go again grst place
- 2/5
Service is bad, pools are closed front desk is rude and don’t address your needs. Phones shower in rooms don’t work
- 3/5
There was a lot of construction ongoing limiting the amenities but it didn’t impact resort fees. The food was mediocre and high for the quality. I had a great view of the beach but it wasn’t the advertised view I paid for originally. The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful.
- 3/5
TV was problematic. Had to call technician to get it to work. Wasn’t told that Harry’s Beach Bar was only open on the weekends. The restaurant Rum Runners was excellent!! The room was adequate. 3 star hotel
- 2/5
You drive in to a beautiful hotel then they give you a room in another building where they are doing construction. Mess not happy and they charge you without telling you. Fees for everything.
- 4/5
room was clean...just a little out dated
- 5/5
Room was great! Staff was very accommodating.
- 1/5
Been coming to the Sirata for 13 years. This was our worst experience. They have really let this place go. The main pool was filthy. First room was absolutely disgusting. The prices are outrageous. $10.50 for a Tito’s & water. $11 for a nutryl. I will add pictures to the review if I can
- 5/5
Beautiful and clean!
- 3/5
The resort is in the middle of a remodel to become a Hilton The areas that are done look good. We stayed in part of the "old Sirata" that will eventually be torn down, and you could tell. We didn't realize there was a difference in booking. Our experience was just "ok". I would not stay in the old part again.
- 5/5
Courteous staff.
- 5/5
Great services and amazing staff
- 4/5
Nov 2025 for my wife’s bday. Although still under renovations and only stayed one night it was excellent. Unfortunately the beachfront room with a king we chose had on-going renovations and we were not told about until we arrived. But they immediately offered us an upgrade to a suite with a city/partial bay view, 2 queen beds and balcony. It was very clean and had been updated. We didn’t have to ask for it. So this was obviously very appreciated. The staff was excellent at the front desk (Cheryl), beach boy and Rum Runners. Both dinner and breakfast was very good. However we never ventured to Harry’s. The hotel was clean overall and would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great stay.
- 3/5
Gym facilities were good Loud air conditioning in the rooms - had to sleep with ear plugs First room was old, but had hot water, a working iron and ironing board Second room had no hot water, no ironing board and no working hairdryer. Asked for an ironing board - never got one. Room was new, but shower was also leaking
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 3/5
We are locals and love the Sirata. We have chosen to stay here time and time again over the past 30 years. We have really enjoyed all of the changes and additions to the resort. However, I booked a room for my husbands birthday to
- 3/5
The beach was fine but not allowed coolers on the beach and the Bar was great but rooms was not what we thought and construction going on in the early morning
- 5/5
Everything was perfect.
- 3/5
Was not aware of ALL the construction going on, and the registration desks moved to the main building. That was a very slow process
- 5/5
The staff is always pleasant. However, there is a lot of construction and noise going on thru May.
- 5/5
Great upgrades love the location & the beach sunsets are exceptional
- 5/5
yes
- 2/5
The location of the property was perfect and beautiful but the rooms are very run down and pretty dirty. We didn’t have housekeeping when we were there, which speaks to the dust on the fan, the gunk all around the tub, etc. The biggest issue though was how do they market themselves as a beach resort but then charge $40 per DAY per CHAIR on the beach? Just raise the $40 amenity fee (that really only gets you wifi) and include chair rentals. Until then, I’ll spend a little more and go to Tradewinds two buildings down!
- 3/5
Patio door was very difficult to open
- 4/5
The resort was good but they didn’t let us know we would be in the older building. We would likely use a different resort in the future.
- 4/5
Everything was great! The construction was a little much sometimes but overall a great experience!
- 3/5
Watch out for the $72 a day "Resort Fee" and Parking. Drinks are aggressively overpriced. There weren't any full size towels in the room.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Good food. Nice pools. Easy access to the beach. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Sirata and as usual it didn’t disappoint. The lady who checked us in was amazing and the room was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back for another stay. Thank you Sirata!
- 4/5
Great friendly helpful staff, Shelly at reception is a gem, Susie the server was the best ! Nice property, unfortunately they are remodeling after a hurrican. The views are affected and the day to night construction is a real drag. When they are done it will be beautiful.
- 5/5
The room super spacious and the decor was beautiful. Loved the access to the beach and the
- 3/5
Our room was not clean, dust coated fans, moldy bathtub, hair on walls in shower, floor sticky in multiple areas, bathtub would not drain. Staff at front desk was very nice and helpful when checking in and out. We wanted to ask to switch rooms but other people in our party had the same issues and were told there were no more rooms available due to 3 weddings that weekend. The bartender at the wedding we attended (Cheryl) was not friendly at all and was very rude to everyone.
- 5/5
Clean fresh and beautiful views
- 1/5
Construction on the room right above us very… very noisy. We couldn’t sleep/rest in the morning and/or afternoon. Very disappointed. We hope to get some refunds so we can plan another trip soon.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay in St. Pete Beach. The all access view is stunning.
- 5/5
The staff was was nice and helpful. The proximity to the beach and pool amenities was good.
- 5/5
The bar had a great selection and it is very understandable that the construction was underway it did not disturb anything.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Staff very helpful and courteous
- 1/5
We had to request a different room due to such poor conditions. Next rooms still wasn't great with dirty bed and footprints in the wall. View was great but the hotel itself was poor. Also, had to pay for coffee. $500.00 a night and can't get a cup of coffee is all that you need to know.
- 5/5
Extremely attentive and friendly staff, they checked on us every day! A beautiful and clean hotel, with so many fun amenities. This will definitely be my new go-to hotel when I come to St Pete Beach.
- 5/5
Clean room, the heated pool, hospitality was terrific and games for kids at pool was fun
- 5/5
Very nice stay
- 3/5
Sirata is undergoing a renovation and unfortunately our room was in the older section. The room had a strong musty smell though the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. I've stayed @ Sirata several times and it would've been nice to have been given a room in the new area. Also, the bar (which is a very fun area of the hotel) was only open in the weekend and we arrived on Sunday. :-(
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Beautiful
- 5/5
The coffee table in the room was broken at the bottom but was functional.
- 4/5
There was a wedding planned, so my room was changed, place was packed, and the room service staff never answered the phone. I was looking for a peaceful place to stay for the anniversary of my son’s passing, unfortunately, I didn’t really get any closure. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Loved room layout with separate living room, fan in bathroom, view, and balcony!
- 5/5
We won’t stay anywhere else, work our way to the rooms where you can open the sliding glass door and walk out directly onto the beach.
- 1/5
The hotel was false advertised on Expedia. It was dirty. It was dangerous. It was nothing like the pictures that were list
- 5/5
This was my second time going and I'll be back a third time. I love this hotel!
- 4/5
The Sirata is currently under construction so the property could be a bit noisy at times. Our room was upgraded to a suite so that was very nice. Service was excellent and Rum Runners has very good food and is a lovely spot for breakfast. The beach is beautiful but the cost to rent chairs and an umbrella each day is ridiculously high! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
- 2/5
The shower was so hard to turn on they had to call maintenance. Beach view was barely a beach view. They charge you an extra $50 a day a checking in on top of resort fees. There was nothing spectacular about the resort to charge resort fees! Nothing was included with your stay! Id definitely search else where when returning to St.Pete Beach!!
- 2/5
Our beachfront view was the top of the maintenance building. Bull dozers and diesel generators running all day long. Maintenance was removing the balcony railings above our room, so construction debris was falling all over our balcony. We were told none of this. We were told our room was changed and we got an upgrade. Not at all, it was a down grade. While waiting for our room to be ready, we saw many people ask to be moved to another room, some wanted refunds. Don't believe a word they say.
- 4/5
Needs updating
- 5/5
The pools were clean and the property was kept nice and tidy. The beach was amazing and sunsets were breathtaking!
- 3/5
We stayed in one of the rooms that’s not been updated the floors didn’t look so good shower didn’t work there where lights not working but I have to say they did have maintenance come and replace the shower head and the light bulbs and cleaning came and mob the floors they resolved all the problem . We love staying can’t wait till it is all remolded. There. Food service workers are awesome best food and drinks . Only one the I really hate is the fee they charge to park a car .
- 2/5
Dirty room
- 4/5
Shouldn’t have to pay to park your car there when paying for a room.
- 5/5
Love the place. Staff is friendly and helpful when you need them. Beach is so beautiful and the chairs and umbrella rental is so convenient. Food is great. Rooms could be cleaner- our shower would not drain and there was a day that we had no clean towels.
- 5/5
Beach views were stunning. Every worker on the property was a hard worker and all were friendly.
- 3/5
Not me ch of a beach view, we enjoyed what we had
- 4/5
Very clean room. Harry bar was not open, but the pool was very nice. Great beach access. The room AC was very cool.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure staying at the Sirata!
- 4/5
Beach view was beautiful
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
Room was nice but we were really far away from the lobby snd restaurant, the door woukdnt open to patio . They were training new security how ti get in the room with the bar lock on at 11pm snd the metal banging went on till well after midnight right next door.the bar shoyld of been open at the other pool during the week and you shouldnt have to pay 100 dollars for beach chairs at a resort,i dont thonk we would stay again. The elevators had the same spill all week!
- 1/5
The “resort” is in the midst of being renovated. Do not stay in the old bldgs - it was horrible. Half of the electrical outlets did not work - some even sparked when we tried to use. The iron didn’t work, the ironing board had a broken leg, the bathroom floor was buckling and they didn’t tell us that the phones didn’t work for our entire bldg. also, our balcony was filthy and the cement was crumbling underneath. It should be a crime to charge over $300 for such a crappy room. We used to love the Sirata - but we won’t be back. Management didn’t care about our concerns. This was like a motel 6 - not a Hilton property.
- 3/5
Everything was average.
- 2/5
The couch had stains and two big rips in it and the bathroom had a hole in the wall and mold in shower don’t stay In building 4 not even worth what I payed for two rooms for 7 days
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and the wait staff was great!
- 2/5
Rum Runners restaurant was amazing
- 3/5
Close to the beach with lots of nice staff. The facility was under construction and some amenities were not available. The rooms definitely could use an upgrade as well. Overall a 2-3 star experience.
- 5/5
this was my second day and I will definitely come back again. The staff go above and beyond to make sure the experience is excellent. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. And it is right on the beach.
- 5/5
We had a balcony overlooking the pool and beach . Will go returning in the future.
- 2/5
Room smelled so bad we changed rooms. Coffee maker did not work. Switched rooms and that one we had to use in the bathroom as the other outlets didn’t work in room #2.
- 5/5
Loved it so much we decided to book our wedding there
- 5/5
Close to beach, sunset view
- 3/5
The beach view we had was actually a view of the construction that was going on at the hotel. There was one bar, one restaurant on site. We weren't informed of the construction before hand. Not sure what the resort fee was all about. There wasn't much that was " resorty" They added on $100.00 for room service when we checked in. We never used room service and I have yet to be refunded. I won't be back. The beach was beautiful though.
- 4/5
Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the hotel. Our room appeared as advertised. Amazing views of the beach access was walkable!!!!
- 5/5
Hotel was gorgeous and the beach was amazing!! It was fantastic that there was a restaurant on-site so we didn’t have to go out every night for dinner. The food was amazing!! Would definitely go back!
- 2/5
Toilet constantly needed plunged, no face or hand towels, receptacle in kitchen did not work, no microwave no coffee machine to plug into. $40dollar resort fee plus $25dollar for self parking. Very Disappointed average night $280 Very Overpriced!
- 5/5
I had a great time
- 5/5
Beach view, the staff was helpful and friendly
- 3/5
All of this put a damper on our stay. At lease the staff was as helpful as they could be within their constraints. The junior suite was ok, but bed not so comfortable.
- 5/5
The new uogrades and renovations theyve done since our last time here are great! This is our 4th time staying here. The staff are so helpful, the pool, restaurant and rooms are very clean, and the food and drinks are delicious.
- 5/5
Great splash for kids
- 3/5
It has been some time since we stayed at the Sirata after going every year for years. We understand that it is being divided between two hotel chains and undergoing renovation. Our room was in the un-renovated section and in fairly poor condition. If you go, make sure you are in the renovated part, although we never saw those rooms to vouch for them. I am not sure we would ever stay there again.
- 5/5
Great beach hotel
- 4/5
The rooms were clean. There were alot of people staying there but
- 5/5
Highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
The hotel was rather small but beautiful views and lovely staff.
- 2/5
No what we saw in pictures
- 3/5
Nice location, great beach, very clean rooms, will be really nice after all the renovation is complete. Just a lot of building work being done and the room we were in was dated so it is understandable that the hotel is being renovated. Sirata should disclose that the hotel is under renovation.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay!
- 5/5
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Sirata Resort. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The entire facility is lovely and the staff are both gracious and helpful. The location is ideal for sightseeing trips and the white sand beach is perfect. Would highly recommend the Sirata Resort.
- 4/5
Hidden fee of $40 per day resort fee added at check in. Rooms were run down, stained box springs sides, moldy smell and damp feeling room.
- 3/5
Room was nothing like any of the photos we seen on this site old and dirty looking bathroom was old and dirty looking room was not very well cleaned you do not get to stay in the main building you in the last building that has not been updated
- 4/5
Good amenities, nice room and easy access
- 3/5
We had stayed at Sirata a few years ago and it was one of our favorites. This time was disappointing. They tacked on a $40 resort fee per day, but parts of the amenities were closed all week, we only had one working elevator, and housekeeping was hit or miss. They also put $50 per day hold on your credit card . This place nickle and dimes you to death .There was construction going on all week and it was a mess. Feel like we shouldnt have had to pay the resort fees. Also we were put in the farthest building from everything and there was only a couple more people even in our building. The parking lot was empty but we were charged $25 per day to park ? The beach was great as it always is but for the money I will try to find another place for our stay next time
- 2/5
This is becoming a Hilton property, so thank goodness upgrades are coming. Half of the resort has been upgraded but the building I was in 4, is horrible. The slider door had no bearings left and could hardly open, mold in the shower, gross dirty couch with the pull out mattress with no cushion, lamp shades were taped onto lamps, bathroom sink nasty and outdoor chairs in poor condition. Half of the resort is fenced off. The beach, pool and bar are nice. The only reason we returned was the awesome bartenders we had last year. We won’t return until it has been fully renovated.
- 5/5
Renovations are coming along and what’s done looks great. Staff and drinks are the best. Beach is amazing.
- 2/5
To small and unclean
- 2/5
NEED TO UPDATE UNIT-BUILDING- WAY TO OLD PROPERTY
- 4/5
Still a lot of work after major hurricane left to do. We had good stay. Housekeeping was pleasant. I am going to focus on positive experiences and let resort recover and be as Beau as it used to be before damage. Rum runner breakfast, dinner and drinks were good. Fair pricing- no complaints.
- 2/5
Place is outdated. Harry’s bar was never open. It’s a resort. Couldn’t even watch football and drink. Don’t look at photos and expect that. It’s complete opposite. Great staff. Had cleaning people walk in on us. Don’t recommend.
- 2/5
Outside areas showing a lot of wear and age. Rooms need reconfigured and updated
- 5/5
Wonderful view, beautiful room. Clean room every day. Nice pool. Live music every night in restaurant bar. Can walk to shops and other places. Relaxing stay!
- 5/5
One of my favorite spots that I keep going back..clean ..comfortable and the beach is amazzzingg!!! I’ve been going here for the past 4 years and love the staff and the accommodations! They really put you first ❤️
- 4/5
We had an ocean front room. The room was fantastic. The only problem was they built a two story building right in front of our rooms. So yes, we could see the ocean, but we had to overlook the rooftop of the building in front of us. It was also very loud all the time to sit out on your balcony because the air conditioners on the roof were always going. Everything else was very nice.
- 5/5
This was a great experience loved the heated pool great drink prices.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service provided by Sandor. She was so resourceful and helped make our stay amazing. She was so helpfully in getting us a ride for uber and provided information for transportation in the area. Our room was clean, big and beautiful. Sandor should be rewarded for her exceptional customer service. The resort is nice and big Pool side is great and beach is beautiful. Wanted to rent the free bikes but could not as they said they needed service so that was a bummer.

We enjoyed this property as a resort-feel. Two beachy bars and a nice pool. There were a decent amount of children at the pool throwing footballs (could’ve just been more kids during our stay) but the rooms were definitely outdated and slightly unkept. The parking also filled up when we got home later in the evening and we took the very last spot luckily. We can’t decide if we would stay again or not, but the location on the beach was amazing.
- 3/5
Rooms need serious upgrades old
- 1/5
The building is being torn down so there is zero maintenance. The chairs on the balcony were shredded, the railing was loose. The couch and chair were stained, the curtain was stained. The linens on the bed, including the mattress covers, stained. Every towel had a stain. The grout in the shower was cracked and moldy. Beneath the shampoo/conditioner holder in the shower, moldy. The sink was cracked, missing grout, moldy. The vents were full of dust. There was a package of cupcakes behind the broken microwave that expired 6 weeks before we arrived. They charge $100 for a cabana and $20 each for beach chairs. Called for towels, didn't come until a second call 4 hours later. One night from 1-4am some teens were partying in the parking lot outside our room. Drinking and stripping while screaming. Called security twice. Someone finally came and told them to keep it down because guests were complaining. Did not have them trespassed! Construction crews there emptying rooms broke a huge window while we were in the pool. Pool bar closes at 4pm. I guess the beach was nice. Their answer was to waive my parking fees. Not sufficient. 0/10 do not recommend.
- 4/5
All around very nice, clean and comfortable place.
- 5/5
I love it! Clean and on the beach. Would recommend
- 5/5
Great place to stay!!
- 5/5
Wonderful place right on the beach.
- 5/5
Definitely going back !
- 3/5
The first room we were checked into smelled of mold & had no hangers in closet & no mat for outside shower. Once moved room was better but after room was cleaned towels were taken but not replaced needing to call front desk for towels. No towels available at either pool wait time unacceptable of over an hour. It seems they are not fully staffed & did a terrible job of remediating after hurricane as all amenities not available & it is not noted on website or communicated at check-in. Staff training urgently needed
- 4/5
Great stay for the amount of days. Kids loved the deep end pool. Hopefully they continue to renovate the remaining rooms.

Beach and pool were close together. Nice stay
- 4/5
Leftover business damage all around fro. Past hurricane
- 3/5
My family and I have been saying here for 20 plus years. Unfortunately we will not be back until they do some updates. Rooms are out dated furniture is old and torn apart. The overall feel of the room is gross
- 5/5
Close Beach Access, the room itself seemed a bit dated tho. Overall no complaints. Enjoyable!
- 5/5
it is the perfect get away! Great staff at registration counter!!
- 4/5
The location is wonderful. Some of their limitations are clearly as a result of still recovering from last fall's hurricanes. They put us in a room on the side of the property that was quiet with few others around. Both elevators were out of service this morning. Come on, guys.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and courteous.
- 4/5
Needed a place for quick getaway. Overall the beach and staff were very nice.
- 4/5
Nice place and staff
- 4/5
I was in the not-yet-renovated section, so it was old and dated, but they did a good job with it. The suite was very large and well equipped. The bed was comfortable but the shower water pressure was poor. Friendly staff, beautiful location, and under renovation into a Hilton property.
- 3/5
My room had a very loud, distracting noise from vent above sink. Smelled damp. No paper towels but had soap/sponge for dishes.

Love the place I will go again

That said, I would absolutely not recommend staying in Building 4. One of the main reasons we booked the Sirata was because I got married here a few years ago. We were familiar with the resort and chose it again for a short weekend girls trip, hoping for a safe and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, Building 4 did not live up to that. The first room had cockroaches, and the second room smelled terrible and clearly had not been cleaned. It felt like housekeeping was lacking all weekend. Once we were moved to a remodeled building, things improved. While there were still a few small issues, we were able to laugh them off. The front desk employee truly made it right and upgraded us to a much better room that we enjoyed. One thing to note: the following morning, another staff member mentioned nothing about a credit being issued for the inconvenience, so we didn’t even know about it until we checked out. That would’ve been helpful to know while we were still there. Also, our room was never cleaned during our entire stay even though we called twice to request housekeeping

It’s absolutely the most beautiful beach and sunset ive ever seen in my life! Breathtaking! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate and that means a lot!

Love the beach and the hotel

The pools restaurants and grounds were good but every day I had to call 5 to 6×4 room service our keys kept breaking. They had to replace the entire lock system. Then the key still continue to break. Spent up to five hours of our vacation waiting for room service waiting for maintenance. The TV went out for four hours. We were treated like garbage except by one person. I’m trying to file a claim on here but so far having no luck.

I didn't like anything about the resort. The room was not the room we had reserved. The room was DIRTY! The staff was nice and courteous and the ocean view was great.
- 3/5
They literally told me that if you want a better room ( renovated ) then book via holton and not Expedia .
- 3/5
The price of the room is too expensive considering the size and does not include any other service. It is not a total disappointment, but I find it very expensive. The pool was always hot and it was not a pleasure to swim in. The beach was spectacular, absolutely wonderful.
- 2/5
I booked this stay using Expedia. It said pay at the property would be $400 and they charge me $740. They charge a $25 per day for parking in their lot. A resort fee that doesn’t even have breakfast or hot coffee. Nothing is included in this place. We left our do not disturb sign off and they never came to clean or refresh the towels. I’ve stayed here before and it was so much better. I’ll never go back to this hotel it’s overpriced and dirty. How can you charge so much in a resort fee and the only real amenity were towels. For that price breakfast and beach chair should have been provided. Such a huge disappointment.
- 2/5
Main restaurant was closed. Rum runners and Harry’s have the exact same menu and all the food is actually terrible, tried so many menu items. Rooms in Building 4 are all in different states of disrepair, from flickering balcony lights to clogged drains and floors that will turn your socks black in 10 steps. Everything closed hours before the advertised time, couldn’t even get mid food at Harry’s after 3 on a weekday or even a drink after 4. Definitely should have gone to the tradewinds next door instead.
- 5/5
I liked that you offered many amenities, some included under resort fee. It makes me want to return rather than stay elsewhere
- 5/5
This was our second time at the Sirata and definitely not our last. Highly recommend this resort!
- 5/5
Love that it’s all on one property but sad we don’t get a beach chair and umbrella with purchase of night stay
- 3/5
Very dated, dirty, room interior was falling apart.
- 1/5
Very dirt room. Left early. No gaming systems work in the gaming room
- 3/5
Staff was great. Wasnt expecting such high fees for resort and parking. Trying to find a yearly place that wont break the bank if they could be waived id come back in a heart beat.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice, and you can walk to restaurants.
- 2/5
Old infrastructure (Hotel )and without maintenance, deteriorated bathrooms and skinks, not very clean facilities, pleasant staff
- 4/5
That being said, our rooms bathroom was extremely small. Towels smelled but were clean. The A/C struggled and room was very humid. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach was nice but..... having to pay for chairs etc. Was different. Didn't purchase any. Would definitely help if chairs were apart of Sirata's beach experience without a crazy cost. Would book again but with a room with a better bathroom scenario. Had a good trip/stay with Sirata.
- 4/5
The stay was great, didn't like the fact that beach chairs were not included in the resort fee....
- 2/5
I chose ocean view but unfortunately was horrible experience, dirty and ripped furniture and cockroaches, I am very disappointed, I will not recommend Sirata resort to anyone.
- 1/5
Well check in was a mess, the room we thought we were getting by the picture on the site was not the room we got, we got a room that was very dated. It was in an older builder and very dirty. The bathroom especially! It had pink and black mold in the shower and bathtub, and the bathtub was so dirty as well. I told the staff 3 times and nothing was done! The towels and toilet paper were never restocked and when I asked they only gave us 2 towels for 4 people and then we had to get more, and it took hours for them to bring it up to us. The pull-out couch sheets were dirty with dirt and lipstick on them and when i told them they never brought us new sheet and again asked them 3 times. Mind you we were staying there 5 nights! So, I had to give them my sheets and comforter off of my bed and I had to buy from a store so I could sleep in my bed. This place is a joke! They charge 25.00 a night for a car, and 50.00 a night for resort fee as well! If you want to stay at the new renovated site, you have to "ask" for it or you will be put in the more disgusting rooms ever! Only reason why I booked here is because my hotel I always stay at is still under construction due to the hurricane and I saw their rooms on here and got duped! This place is horrible! Never go here and a waste of time and money! This place never did any to accommodate me for what was wrong with my stay for what was wrong with my room on top of that! Do better! Calling corporate! I should get my money back!
- 2/5
The bathroom at the facility was hardly big enough for 1 person to be in. The sheets on bed were full of sand and when we tried to call desk for service there was no answer. Would not stay there again
- 3/5
Maybe I missed it in the fine print, but I didn’t realize I was going to be charged a daily parking fee while I was staying at this location. It would have been nice to include that in the bill upfront rather than after the fact.

Good
- 3/5
The furniture in the room is pretty beat up and the couch was all stained. The TV had a like a purple filter over everything throughout the stay. The room itself was not well kept with a filthy air vent filter, mold growing in various places, the bottoms of the curtains were drenched in mop water (let’s hope), there was barf inside the picture frame hanging next to the main bed. The kitchenette had 1 cup, a few pieces of silverware. When housekeeping came every other day, they did not ever replenish towels, TP or coffee unless specifically asked. They also come in the evenings which is very inconvenient as we were always getting ready for dinner. There was plumbing repairs happening during our stay which resulted in bouts of no water at various times. It would have been nice to know in advance. Our toilet backed up into the bathroom at night so they did move us to a new room. This one was slightly better kept (still a nasty air filter and grossness on walls). This would had a drip dry line in the tub and an extra hook in the bathroom which was nice.

We stayed 8 years ago, this time staying in an updated section. Updates are incredible! Love the daily activities, bingo, free snow cones.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Family oriented. It is under renovation. Staff really nice.
- 3/5
The resort location is excellent. Beautiful beach with powder white sand. The resort is in rough condition. Broken umbrellas and sun chairs around the pool. Badly maintained buildings with faded and cracked paint. The room was outdated and in pretty bad condition. Sadly, the resort is not a shadow of what it used to be and we’ve been coming to St. Pete Beach for more than 20 years.
- 4/5
It was ok the part we stayed at was older part did not like that the newer area we could not stay there because we did not book directly with Hilton and booked three expedite qas up headed to a larger room but that was only issue everything f else was nice and clean
- 4/5
The staff amazing, hope after they complete the renovation looks better
- 5/5
Nice resort and quiet
- 2/5
Beach access is the only good part. Watch out for added fees after check out. Still waiting to be contacted after extra charges been 6 days since. When checking in gave them both names on reservation tried to give both ID they said only needed one. Took my deposit they only gave me keys to one room after booking 2. Had to go back to front desk and have resolved.
- 3/5
I would have just loved if the rooms were more updated, but the atmosphere, the vibe and everything was great other than that.
- 2/5
paid a lot of money pictures on the website were great rooms dirty and outdated definitely wont recommend it to anyone, aircon inlet duct full of dust sink in bathroom peeling enamel floors sandy and dusty not impressed .
- 3/5
Nope.

Staff were all very nice, room and rest of facilities were clean and well kept, and the view was really nice. Overall great experience! Will be visiting again at some point.

Room was filthy, staff were helpful. Never enough beach towel and no ice in any of the machines.
- 5/5
Harry's closing early for food ok, but for drinks should be open later. Having to walk from one pool to the n CT for drinks is a bummer
- 2/5
There were a dirty Band-Aid on the towels in the bathroom. There were obviously things left from the person in the room before us like old coffee filters that were never changed. The floors were dirty generally speaking, the rooms were rundown.
- 3/5
Needs a lot of cleaning and updating.
- 2/5
No one ever came. Hy husband tried to look at what the door needed, and the remaining screws were just sitting in the holes loose. He took the screws to the front desk and asked for some Marianne attention again. They sent someone quickly this time. After the repair, we found they just stuck some more screws in the holes that were again the wrong size just sitting in the holes. Throughout our stay we heard multiple people on the phone with either the front desk or Expedia or in common areas talking about their awful experiences with this property and multiple parties having to change rooms as we did. The main building looks nice, but buildings 3 and 4 I would say should just be closed down at this point. The main railing outside all of the rooms on the second floor was bowed and loose making it seem very unsafe. The beach and pool are nice. But we could not access one of the pools since we didn't have wristbands that apparently only the main building guests get. At least they had beach towels available for free....
- 3/5
The water from our bathroom sink was brown! Brown water! It did clear up but made us feel uneasy. Also, dust on our ceiling. Our neighbors were having a party until 4am. and lawn maintenance was blowing loud at 8am! I believe we are getting a resort refund. Hope so!
- 5/5
We loved this low key beach resort and the proximity of all the restaurants to choose from!
- 4/5
Building one has been nicely remodeled. The other buildings still need work . Front desk staff were very helpful
- 4/5
Location was amazing. Staff was great, especially the man at the beach chair rental stand and the two women housekeepers on the 5th floor. Pools were good. Parking was tight on the weekend but we always found a spot. The main building has been recently renovated and is lovely. The other buildings are past due for a renovation…but they were clean and spacious.
- 1/5
Expedia refused to refund our initial deposit. Very unhappy. Tim H.
- 4/5
I liked the easy close parking to the building. I liked the beachside pool. I liked the full kitchen, so I could put all our food & leftovers in the frig. The hot tub was not working properly (the jets kept turning on & off randomly). The location is close to everything on the strip. SR 669 is minutes away to take you into St Pete interior communities.
- 5/5
Pools were nice but the cabanas by the small pool were nicer than the onces by the large pool for some odd reason. Bar drinks and food by the large pool were both good and reasonably priced. My room was right above the bar and one night someone forgot to turn off the music lol Other than that one night there was no other issues.
- 2/5
The walk in cooler on the ground floor of building 4 was just a n unpleasant thing, the grout in the bathroom was dirty, the ceiling tiles were stained, the property look so run down. The elevator was so smelly.
- 5/5
Our second time staying at the sirata and we love how clean it is and the restaurant on site.
- 5/5
The only thing I will say is we requested connecting rooms at booking and called the property, our 3 rooms did not connect. The beach cabanas and chairs are not included in the price of the rooms.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Sirata offers a variety b if amazing cocktails ans delivious snacks as well as foods. The shrimp cargot is outstanding. The two pools and convenience of the beach being at your dooratep is my ideal place to stay. The beautiful sunsets and friendly staff make it even better

Great experience. Highly recommended

Great spot for a nice stay on st Pete Beach
- 1/5
The worse place I have ever stayed! I will never stay at this place again.
- 5/5
Loved this place
- 2/5
Heard construction the 3 days that we were there around 8:00. Jack hammers , grinders and hammerdrills . Room smelled , made us dizzy and have headaches could not enjoy room
- 5/5
We all really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back and stay here again.
- 3/5
I really liked the location of the hotel, but the room was dirty when we arrived — the curtains were stained, the microwave was dirty, and they are currently undergoing renovations. We stayed in one of the older rooms, so I believe the new rooms are probably better.
- 1/5
No one came. We had upstairs neighbors with kids and they were noisy all night.Cleaning showed up at 4:30 to clean the room as we were coming in from the beach. We left at 8:30 am
- 4/5
Was here for just 2 nights. Enjoyed the facilities very much. Was there for the beach and it did not disappoint. Would return for sure,
- 5/5
We've been going to the Sirata for years. This year we had an oceanfront room. The room and view were great, the bathroom was tiny but functional. The food and drinks are great at both restaurants. The beach is beautiful. It is very walkable to fun bars and restaurants. It is a decent value for the beach. Overall an great stay.
- 3/5
The room was not even close to what it showed online. The Resort building looked great and inviting and then we check in they put us in a run down building. The room was so disappointing and not very inviting. To pay that much for a discussing room was ridiculous. The pool area was nice, the beach was great but the room was not up to par.
- 3/5
Expected a more clean space, sofa bed upholster diety , curtains dirty, some sheets had stains.
- 3/5
1. The building could use some maintenance 2. The mattress of the sofa bed was way beyond cheap... it was homeless level. You could feel all the mattress structure. We all 4 had to sleep in one queen bed. We talked with the manager about this and she said she was going to notify the maintenance staff immediately and gave us complement lunch since we booked through expedia and not them. We wanted the full return, it was anything but a weekend/vacation sleep. We want the full return by expedia a lunch doesn't cover the bad night and delayed day we had.
- 5/5
Amazing room, clean and quiet. Exactly what we needed for the week. Beautiful view, and everything is so easily accessible. We will definitely be back!
- 3.5/5
The location was great! The pool, restaurants and being right off the beach was very nice! The hotel needs up to date remodeling. The walls are thin as well.
