    This property is going to be amazing, but they are now in the remodeling phase. My room was excellent, but there was no lobby or check-in or amenities, only because they are being remodeled. As I said, my room was absolutely amazing.

    For me personally, I won’t stay here again until the renovations are done. Staff was friendly, check in was as usual, my room was clean and smelled nice….but…1st floor completely closed, no breakfast (just basic grab n go), construction plastic and materials everywhere, construction noise during the day, and cell service/wifi was extremely sub par. Ive stayed at this location many times prior to the renovations and I loved it and when renovations first started it wasn’t that bad but—for me personally—I’d just rather stay somewhere else until it’s done. I love Clarion and the staff was awesome… I’ll just wait until it’s awesome again.

    First red flag lack of communication. It’s under construction so you’ll be confined to the 2nd floor only and the pool, kitchen, ice room and everything else is out of order. Then at check in when I received my room. It wasn’t what I requested, I requested a 1 king bed room and received a double queen bed. I was told that my account wouldn’t be charged until check out but everyday they keep trying to run my account after putting money on hold in my account already. They did have a grab and go breakfast table ( muffins, oranges, apples, coffee and water) no hot breakfast. Some items didn’t function properly like the blinds and the night lights on the head of the bed. Trash in can and used lotion from the previous persons who rented the room. It wasn’t what I expected at all and what I wanted to pay for. I won’t recommend this place until they fully complete their renovations and retrain their housekeeping staff. Another note I will not be booking with Expedia especially since having the issue with my account.

    A/C was not keeping the room cool. Had to keep adjusting the air. When it was time to check out, I looked under the bed to make sure we didn't forget any items and there was trash with old few items left under as if no one had cleaned under the bed. One bed had pen marks on the dust sheet.

    The hotel is nice and clean. The staff was so friendly! They were in the middle of a remodel and unfortunately I got a screw in my tire and had a blow out on the highway home. But other than it’s a great place to stay…. Bring your own coffee though.

    The hotel was going through a renovation. It will probably be great when its done, but the rooms needed some work, the bed wasnt very comfy, due to the renovation there was no breakfast (part of the reason we chose the hotel), the fitness center was a nice size but of the 3 treadmills - only one worked but the elevation buttons didn’t work quite right.

    We had a king bed room. But, after returning from first day's activities, our toilet stopped worling and was running water constantly. We asked fir another room. Only room available was a double bed, which angered my wife, but we had to take it. Next night when we returned to hotel, they switched us back to a different king bed room. My real issue is, the under construction- renovation info should have been available at all sources who book rooms for that hotel, including Expedia.

    Location There was a cockroach in my room. They didn’t have any other rooms to move me. Then when they did change my room I went to the room and that room was occupied then I had to wait a while longer for them to put me in a room that had no heat it was awful and wasn’t clean.

    I was not aware that the hotel was under construction when I booked. The complimentary breakfast was prepackaged muffins and oranges and apples. Not what I expected. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable however we did not have any housekeeping at all.

    If I base my ratings off of the room, it would be five stars. The room was very clean and tidy, beds a bit firm but other wise very clean and matched the pictures online. However the pictures that are shown online of the lobby and the rest of the area of the hotel are what the hotel is to look like in the future when all construction is complete. We couldn’t hear the construction in our room, but the lobby was another story that is where most of it is happening. Was only really an issue at check in/out. But it is definitely an eye sore for sure. There is only a Togo breakfast that consisted of small muffins and coffee, it was a bit disappointing since the pictures showed other food options. I don’t doubt it will be a beautiful hotel once construction is completed.

    Staff was really cool and chill, very friendly. Thought my fridge wasn’t working, called downstairs and the gentleman at the front desk came right up to check it. It was a silent fridge 😂😂. I originally booked a king bed and got a room with two queen beds because they’re undergoing construction. It worked out even better for me cuz I had extra pillows and blanket!!! room was clean, WiFi was moving like rent was due. 10/10 will go back and I recommend

    When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we learned that it was under renovation (changing to a Hilton) which started a couple months ago. We booked at the Clarion last year—it would have been nice to have been informed in the meantime of the renovation and that the restaurant/breakfast was not an option during our stay. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

    During booking the site failed to mention the fact that it was under construction.There is furniture all over the place, there is dust everywhere, there is no breakfast other than prepackaged muffins and coffee and they refused to refund our money cuz they said they did in fact mention that it was under construction. The spot to find that info was under "policies"... thats not a policy. That should have been at the beginning where its easily found and not made to feel like they were hiding the fact that its under current construction. Had i known it was, I would have never booked a room there. I would have found somewhere else. The info they left on the site also stated that they would only be doing construction on the weekdays during the hours of 8am-7pm but upon arriving they had a sign which stated they would also be working on sat as well.... also at 8am but ending at 1. We had driven late into the night and arrived about 2am so i was exhausted. They were not helpful when trying to figure out how to resolve the issue. They said since it was in fact listed that it would be under construction that we couldnt get a refund. I sat on the phone for over an hour trying to talk with the 3rd party company that i booked through and was only told that i still wouldnt be able to get a refund. The whole situation is ridiculous and i will NEVER stay at this hotel again, even when its finished being remodeled. Please save yourself the trouble and pick another place to stay.

    This hotel is under major reconstruction and should not be open while doing so. Most of the lobby is closed, there’s debris everywhere in the entryway and lobby, cords were hanging from the ceiling on the second floor… I wish I knew this before booking. It was not a good experience.

    The front desk staff were excellent, very knowledgable, and friendly. Hotel was under construction so breakfast was non existent and no coffee available the 2nd morning at all. The room was in good condition, comfortable bed and quiet until the outside workers started in the mornings, but we didn't find it to be a problem.     The staff was very friendly, and both the facility and room were clean and well maintained. My only critique is that the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottles appeared partially used and were quite small—there wasn’t enough for a full shower. While I could have requested additional items from the front desk or brought my own, this is simply an observation for improvement.

    They are under renovation right now so that might be why breakfast was nothing but a muffin and coffee, when I thought the description said “breakfast buffet”-but no, it was not. Only the 2nd floor was open. The room was okay but air conditioning didn’t work and the air kept getting hotter when we set it lower. They offered to switch our room, but we ended up just turning the whole thing off. Overall, we slept well; comfortable, clean beds. Polite staff; they did their best under the conditions.

    The fact that hotel was in close proximity to the Grandscapes where we had plans at was great for us. The hotel was clean and the accomaded my whole crew and had us all on the same floor.     The AC was controllable with a remote which wasn’t clear, but we found it. No bathtub, just a walk-in shower.The deadbolt lock in the main door was broken and the breakfast cost money (so we didn’t do it, not sure how great it could’ve been. Maybe it could’ve been worth the price idk) but I’m willing to give this hotel 5 stars purely because the checkout time was NOON! That’s awesome and was so needed. What a pleasant surprise.     First, cleanliness was lacking everywhere. The carpet in the halls was disgusting, elevator was a disaster and smelled like marijuana, the room and in particular the shower was nasty. They also no longer offer breakfast. This use to be my go to place in town. I will never stay here again.

    Stay was great! Super clean rooms. Staff was super nice and beds were so comfortable! We will stay there again next time we go to WorldSprings since it’s also right down the road within a 5 minute drive.

    At this point I already booked my hotel through Hotels.Com. Called my bank and they confirmed that there’s enough money on the card to covered the $50 hold fee. Called Hotel.Com and I was told by the agent that I have to wait until Monday to resolve the issue. I have no where to go to spend the night. An hour goes by sitting there thinking what to do next. I was ready to leave and then Bailee, the Front Desk Agent asked me to try and insert the card again to see if it would work this time. I guess she configured the computer. Suddenly, the payment when through after an hour plus. It was all out a very bad service and experience.

    Nice pool. Nice smoking area and areas to sit at and relax. Hot breakfast for additional cost. Not that great. Sausage was very dry. French toast and fresh fruit was good. Inside lounge. Staff was professional and courteous. Price was good.

    The stay was pleasant the only thing I wish they would have done was go and clean the room while we weren’t there. We did not have a chance to try the food but good deal breakfast buffet for 12.99 . Good location very near the expressway and places we had to go to. Will recommend and definitely stay again

    The receptionist was very kind and helpful! The parking was convenient and anywhere we wanted to go was right near the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We were very impressed that they had a smart TV that offered prime, Netflix, etc. A lot of hotels that we have gone to do not give you that option. I would definitely stay at this property again!

    The property was not clean and smelled like wet dog in many areas. The floor boards in our room were broken and hurt if you walked over it/tripped over it. The water was also shut off for several hours so we couldn’t use the sink, shower or toilets. Then on our last night from about 7:30-9:45, they had workers in the back with sledge hammers breaking down cabinets and loading them into a truck and it was very loud and we couldn’t get sleep. We called the front desk to complain twice and she didn’t have any info on when it would be done or why they were doing it at night. We requested a manager and she said the manager would be there in the morning which was not true.

    They very obviously do not clean the rooms. The coffee maker looks like it has NEVER been cleaned. There was debris on the floor from the wall chipping, and when I looked down at it, I noticed a beer cap! Room was obviously not vacuumed at all. The pool was closed in mid July, no ice machines worked, and the mini fridge didn't work. I checked out 3 hours after checking in, Hotel denied my refund, told by the front desk lady that "well it's not like I clean the rooms", and we checked into the Resident Inn down the road. They were MUCH better.

    Upon arrival, I had to wait in lobby for over 45 minutes to check in due to no staff being at the front. The room itself was covered in dog hair, the bath room was dirty, and the blankets had stains on them. The pool was closed the entire time and all the ice machines were broken. The elevators and hallways had a funky smell the entire time. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

    It was pretty clean, simple rooms and reasonable comfort. The hotel had some dated elements and some recent updates. The staff was kind but a bit difficult to get requests in (asked for an extra sheet that never came) and the front desk was often empty. They seem a bit understaffed though.

    It’s nice a clean. Friendly staff. Skip the breakfast buffet. It’s sparse and overpriced. They said they had bacon but only served poor quality pork sausage. When I asked them where the bacon was they told me it wasn’t served everyday. The location is perfect for everything at Gradscape . Great price

    I would give it another star if it weren’t for the additional charge for breakfast. So many hotels include a free breakfast. I thought maybe they didn’t have a kitchen or space for a set up but they do. To be a choice hotel, breakfast should have been free. Also, we had multiple rooms. One of them didn’t have a refrigerator. Other than that, our stay was good.

    This location is definitely an older building and they have signs throughout asking people to "pardon the dust" while they undergo renovations but I was there for 4 days and saw no actual renovations happening. There was crumbing drywall around my room and multiple common areas. On the bright side, the pool was nice. But the deteriorating building along with a $13.00 per person breakfast instead of complimentary like most all other places was enough to make me say I will not return.

    The hotel at first appeared to be just fine but the more I stayed there the more I realized that it was in need of some repair and things like doors that didn’t stay put where they should or coffee machines that did not work became irritating. The air conditioning was problematic and sometimes worked, but sometimes worked poorly. my request for a late check out was rebuffed, even though all I wanted was an extra hour. There are two other hotels close by and I would never stay again at the Clarion in the colony Texas.

    I have stayed problem 20 times. We are going to find a new hotel in the area. The bathrooms are just destroyed, smell like urine, broken fixtures. Hotel has been trashed and service is just subpar as well. So unfortunate.

    The room was filthy. I could not walk on the floor without having to rewash my feet every time. When i addressed it, it was not addressed. I found other hairs in my room, others pubic hairs in bed and others hair in the bathroom. I canceled the second reservation that was scheduled due to this and they refuse to give any refund. Minimal selection.

    I usually stay at this exact location 3-4x year and, unfortunately, I've noticed a steady decline. Staff is wonderful but facilities are usually "grimey". Meaning: the past few times I've stayed, the bathrooms haven't been that clean, the rooms smelled musty, carpet felt sticky, and you could tell the surfaces had not been wiped very well. Phones have been unplugged and, on this last stay, wasn't even connected. TV wasn't updated so, even though it was an offered selection, YouTube wasn't able to be accessed. Front desk staff is/was amazing like usual but the facilities need to REALLY be looked at.

    We arrived late due to many delays. We stayed the previous year and it was an excellent. This year not so much I know things get over looked and that’s okay but make sure. You do a routine check on things we went into the room and the curtain was pulled off the was as if. Someone was climbing it I looked took a picture and just remembered it being there the ice machine was not working at all. No biggie we just used the fridge in the room, had to turn it down because it was froze solid. And the fridge was smaller than the standard size I couldn’t tell if it was under maintenance or renovations but it wasn’t as pleasant as it was the first time. I do love that it is designated around the areas we are venturing out too. The breakfast if at all possible just got out and buy you pay enough to be their and have fun with you family if it’s not budgeted in just either buy or put it in your budget to pay but I can say it is good but not for the price. The toiletries are so small I laughed they make sure you get 1 use out of it. But like I said previously have fun review the hotel on you own this is just our experience and you decide.

    This hotel was extremely pet friendly and as soon as I checked into the hotel, which was later on that evening, my allergies got real bad. I could smell hints of animal, and there was hair in the tub. One of the lights did not work by the bed. It is OK to be pet friendly for I have pets, but for those who are traveling and stay I think it should be rooms that did not have pets in them or the rooms need to be cleaned better I sneezed the entire time until I went to go get Benadryl. I had mucus drainage and it was pretty bad.
