Later, my husband encountered a woman outside our room and asked if she was with housekeeping. She stated that she did not speak English. Shortly afterward, a front desk employee came to our room to check on the status of the cleaning because housekeeping had reported that they had checked in with us. We were then moved to a different room that was cleaner overall; however, we noticed the same mold-like fuzz underneath the sleeper sofa cushions. We also found dirty linens left on the sleeper sofa bed. My husband was given gloves and asked to remove the dirty linens himself because housekeeping had already left for the day. He brought the soiled linens to the front desk and was provided with clean replacement linens, although they were stained. Another issue was that the TV appeared to be rigged up and would only lean toward the floor. There were also two brief power outages, although that was likely due to the weather. We were informed that housekeeping had gone home for the day, leaving us to address issues that should have been handled by hotel staff. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

I didn’t get room service and I stayed 2 nights. The rooms smell horrible also. Will not be back if it’s up to me.

Everything was great except for the fact I listened to loudness all through the night.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights for graduation ceremony and let me just say this hotel was beyond my expectations I highly recommend it. Not only was it clean, friendly but the amount of support I had for my husband’s needs (disabled due to a hemorrhagic stroke) was amazing and breakfast was delicious! Definitely booking in the future stay. God bless

1 bedroom suite with balcony. The bedroom door wouldn't close and lock. The door was misaligned. In the tiny bathroom look up at the light it's not seated in the hole. The living room tv had to hard reset to get any channels for my daughter. Unit was spacious and clean. Front desk kinda keeps to themselves which is good for me. But other parents in the group didn't like it so much. Not that bad of a hotel. There was no do not disturb sign and still got no service after the first night. Had to exchange towels and make the walk of shame to the front desk for toilet paper. Party of 3 for 4 nights we tried our best to stretch the one roll that came with the room 😂 Would only stay again for the balcony but hopefully next time the person below me isn't there smoking weed for the 4 days.

My son and his family were not able to even stay. The air was outing their room. The maintenance person said they would tey to find fans. Never came back or called . My DIL saw the maintaining person like 45 minutes later and he said " oh didn't find a fan." At that point they said they needed to talk to manager..They were told the manager was not there. They insisted that the manager get called to approve a refund. The management was finally called and said that they would refund the cost of the hotel. I have yet to receive that refund and that was this past Saturday the 23rd of May. I also took out insurance for this stay.

Crazy part my family had two suites for 2 nights, a family of 5. The Furniture worn down to the springs. We were literally sleeping on springs. Busy weekend had no wait staff, and pool closed during spring break how was this a vacation? Nasty carpet. Room smelled like a dog. Pros were breakfast and concession area. We are a special need a family so we are unable to vacate often. We are from Texas and have also lived in the area. We were expecting so much more. I don’t have time to go into detail but I can say this hotel ain’t worth the coins paid.

We had a wonderful stay at the Staybridge hotel. The room was clean and spacious with 2 queen sized beds, a kitchen area with a large sectional couch. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked with a variety of breakfast foods and drinks including a make it yourself waffle center. The hotel is relatvely close to Main Street which made it easy to commute to many places of interests. Next time we are in Dallas and The Colony, we will stay here.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Conveniently located to multiple activities around the area. Room was spacious, clean, and had a bunch of amenities included in the room. Great free continental breakfast. Can’t beat it. Will definitely be back.

When we first arrived, the hotel had a weird smell to it and then as we started using the bathroom sink, it drained slow every time we either washed our hands or brushed our teeth, so it would just be a full of water for a while until it fully drained other than that, breakfast was basic stuff were nice. It’s an OK hotel if you’re just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night, nothing more nothing less.

The staff were courteous and friendly. The place looked to be in the process of being renovated and looked to have new carpet in the common areas. Most important to me was it was clean. Some of the furniture was warn and needed replacement. Overall, I was happy with our stay.

Sheets had an unclean odor. I asked the front desk clerk for coffee and she said they were out and no one could get any until housekeeping came. I thought maybe she would offer to get a coffee from vacant another room but no. I have stayed before at this hotel but I don’t recall the condition being so unkept.

I enjoy the property and staff was very helpful and friendly. I use the small kitchen but I wish there was an oven and not just a microwave oven. I was in town for Thanksgiving and I had to go to my local family home to bake off casseroles.

The people working there seemed consistently helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good - not exactly gourmet quality - but it was easy to find very tasty things. The facility overall is nice and the room is spacious and well designed. The area around the property feels safe and there is plenty of parking, but it is a row of hotels without other types of establishments within walking distance. Overall, it was a very good choice, and I'd stay there again. I knocked off a star mostly because of some minor repair issues that they should address - Our refrigerator was VERY wobbly and needs to be leveled and one cabinet was obviously broken and needed to be handled with care not to break it further.

The breakfast had a good option I especially loved the scones every morning, the room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping was great. I enjoyed the nice happy hour it was a treat

I booked this room months in advance for a trip from MA. I confirmed weeks ahead and when we arrived after a long flight I was told we no longer had a reservation and that they had changed their policy. I chose to pay at arrival and they were now implementing paying a deposit in advance. They never called, emailed or texted asking for a deposit. They said they tried to charge a deposit but the payment was declined. I never put down a card or authorized a charge so they that was a blatant lie. I showed them my confirmation that stated I could pay at arrival and they would not honor it as they clearly had given our room away already. My family of 4 flew to Texas with nowhere to stay. I have never experienced anything like this and would highly highly recommend booking elsewhere unless you enjoy playing the game of chance. Terrible customer service!

The hotel tried charging my card for the stay before I arrived even though I chose the pay at the property. I then had people above me being extremely loud playing music very loud all night and very early the next morning, when I spoke to the front desk I was told nobody else complained and they would be leaving that day. They are still at the location and very loud.

There was excessive mold on the AC output, the AC intake was excessively dirty and dusty, stains on bedding, dirty toilet, and a bug in the nightstand. Asked for a refund but was told no because I had been there longer than one hour, it had been two. Ended up walking out on a two night reservation due to feeling unsafe and unclean. Finally got a refund for the second night after several rounds with hotel and Expedia.

The food and food options were slim. It could have been better.

Door was open at arrival, looked like room had not been cleaned in some areas. Pool was nothing like the pictures on the website.

Our room wasn’t cleaned properly, restroom floor was dirty as well as the restroom door handle it was sticky. Towels had hairs stuck on them. Elevator felt like an oven, it was super hot.

We were in town for a wedding. This place was convenient to restaurants and highways. A pool was there although we didn't use it. Breakfast was tasty and convenient. The personal were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Room was filthy had to get Clorox wipes. Bed sheets were not clean, the toilet was broken and who ever refills your lotions shampoo/conditioner along with body wash isn’t using dove products. It was watery and cheap caused a rash.

It was a nice vacation. The room was supplied with everything I needed. I just brought my own food. It was a great stay and the staff was very helpful and courteous.

We have stayed here before and been very happy. The chair and ottoman need to be replaced. I took a picture of the chair and took it downstairs. The front desk said they would note it but nothing was done to replace it. The room is showing some age. The A/C was having difficulty keeping up with the Dallas heat. Shower had some mildew.

This is my second stay here, I look forward to returning this summer!

Room was good with plenty of space! Comfortable bed. The only thing I didn't like was the shower head. It could be replaced due to the water pressure wasn't high but besides that, overall I would recommend this hotel.

It’s close to my office and Top Golf. For the most part. It was fine for my stay. The gym was missing a few weights and the motion activated lighting was no fun when it turned the lights off while in a run early in the morning. The staff was super nice!

Everything was great during our stay. Great room, a small kitchen area with all the things that you need to cook your own meal. Breakfast was amazing, the best that I’ve ever seen in a hotel.

Room was clean but WiFi didn’t work. The first evening we were the the elevator broke down. My mother had recently had foot surgery and didn’t need to be walking the stairs but she had no choice.

Overall, the property was very nice. Very clean, both in the commons areas and the room itself. The only thing we had an issue with was requesting a 2nd office chair for our room. My wife and I both work from home, so we took our work with us, but unfortunately one of us (me) had to use an ottoman for a desk chair. Not the most comfortable, but also not the biggest issue I've had while staying at a hotel.

Accommodations were very nice. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel was nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast was included and was mediocre at best. But then again, I wasn't there for the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall the stay was what you expected. Nothing special. One thing to note is that over the weekend there isn't a lot of house cleaning services available. We asked for the room to be serviced but was told that because of limited staff, the room may or may not be serviced. Guess what the room was not serviced.

My family and I are well traveled and the lack of customer service , hospitality was concerning. Our room was less than thoroughly cleaned and missing items that should have been available in our rooms and or at the front desk? My teenagers had a few unexpected encounters with the staff which was upsetting . Complementary breakfast and cocktail hour was good idea but was underwhelming and needs to be revamped. The one woman that worked in the morning at front desk was nice and explained the rewards program to my husband . The property is located in a great location, staff was helpful. However, our room was not cleaned correctly, there were socks from previous guest left under a coach and the restroom was in terrible condition. There were stains everywhere.

We are hardcore Staybridge clients and I have to say that this was by far the worst we've stayed in the last 7 years. The place is not irredeemable. It can be saved. It just needs some major updating and a commitment from management for high standards to be maintained. I would not say "don't stay" here. I would only caution you not to get your hopes up. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and a birthday and I failed to deliver the goods this go round. Oh well. You win some, and you loose some I guess.

I give my stay a 10 out of 10. I had a wonderful experience and my first time staying in a Staybridge. The staff was friendly, the room had everything we needed, and clean. The location was even better with so many things to do and eat just 5 minutes away from the hotel. Totally recommend!

we had a good trip this past time. We did have an issue with neighbors being very loud at 130 to 12 at night, but once my husband talked to desk manager and he spoke to them, things calmed down. Thank you

The hotel was great. Room was clean, inviting and very comfortable. It was 109 outside and the AC ran beautifully keeping us nice and cold. Breakfast was great. They have a good selection and the waffle maker was in the shape of Texas! I would defiantly stay again.

Got locked out of room and keys wouldn't work after redone. Had to take lock off. Manager at desk didn't seem to care.

Check in person was nice. Breakfast was good. The bedroom had ketchup on the floor needed to be clean the sheets where dirty. On Tuesday night there was loud music at night outside by the pool we couldn’t get no sleep obviously the staff didn’t do anything about it. It was ok but we will stay again.

Now there were so good things. The cleaning crew does an amazing job. The staff was always helpful and friendly. If you have a dog its a viable option. The price was pretty reasonable. I don't think I'll stay at this hotel again but it wasnt a total disaster. If you're in The Colony I'd probably spend a few extra dollars and go elsewhere.

The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful when anything was requested. But the room upon arrival was absolutely unacceptable. Every glass, plate and bowl in the dishwasher was nasty. Caked on food and no dish towel left to even wash them. No towels were replaced and had to set the trash cans outside of the room for them to be dumped. There were random dirty socks under the couch which we discovered when pulling out the sofa bed. Upon checking out had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk at 11am to assist. The housekeeping staff had to search for her. Will not be returning to this particular property.

I like the area and this hotel is very close to all things we go too. Staff is nice and rooms are comfortable.
