Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Area

We’ve stayed at this hotel 5-6 times since November and it’s always amazing!! Our stays are usually short and we don’t often get to use the amenities but we’ve loved your hotel!

Our rooms were ready for us when we arrived. That was great because some of our party was not feeling well.This allowed them to rest in the room as we had an excursion planned for the afternoon. Our rooms were spacious, clean and with comfortable beds.I had booked for two nights but did not have a problem when we decided to leave a day early. When we arrived to the property my husband and I went to eat breakfast Staff made us each an omelette which was good. It was almost time for them to close the breakfast. After our excursion we ate in the bar area for dinner. The burger and quesadilla we had were very good. We also used the early shuttle service to get us to the airport.

Property was nice and not too far away from the airport. I booked a balcony room and was given a regular room, the girl at the front desk happily corrected my room. The beds we super comfortable.. I regret getting the breakfast cuz it wasn't worth the charge for it.

Every thing from the time I handed my car keys to the Valet. Great check in, and offer of a free late checkout. Restaurant and bar service were fantastic. The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and spacious. Checkout was simple, and Valet had my car waiting. Nothing at all.

We stay here 2-3 times a year. The location is perfect for our family when traveling to see the Mariners play. Property is well taken care of, friendly staff and the rooms are very clean!

We’ve stayed here multiple times and last night was the worst bed!! It appears that the mattress wasn’t on a box spring so it almost felt like it would fall through the frame and it was WAY too soft!

We were greeted by a very professional front desk lady who I believe was named PUA, {Tia Rose}it was late at night and we were two exhausted 62 year old ladies that were ready for our room. we only made the reservation an hour before arrival. Check-in was a breeze.

Airport Shuttle was accommodating from Airport to Hotel. Nice lobby to relax in and a restaurant for food and beverages.

Even the staff were dressed professionally, it upped the class of the hotel by that much. Loved how clean and modern it looked compared to other hotels. Not anything I can think of off the top of my head, only thing I didn’t like was you had to pay for the breakfast, it was not included in the stay.

The suite was amazing, like a 1 bedroom apartment!! The balcony was a nice touch as well to enjoy the cool but fresh air and scenic view of the river. Comfortable, quiet and very clean.

Breakfast was not included. Paid (almost) $5 for a cup of (Starbucks) coffee which tasted days old. Gross, threw it away. They could do better.

Courtyard Marriot saved me when I had a last minute safety issue with a previously booked place. I was so grateful to arrive to a clean, safe place to sleep. Check in was quick and easy and the bed was so comfortable. Reliable, as always!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful! The food in the restaurant was very good; the best hamburger I have had in quite some time. It was a little pricey but not really anymore than Uber Eats. The restaurant staff were very friendly and definitely on top of their game! Shuttle was very pleasant as well. My only complaint is the bed was not very comfy. I prefer something a little firm. When I sat on the bed, I sunk way down.

Excellent location and service

The issue I have with this hotel is it has the same description as the other Courtyard by Marriott SEA-TAC. This location is NOT as close to the airport and should not have the same description.

Courtyard by Marriott SeaTac Area was a great place to stay when my flight was cancelled. Be aware - there are 2 Courtyards near SeaTac - “Airport” and “Area”. . When calling for a shuttle, confirm your reservation to be sure you have called the correct hotel.

Great stay right near aiport, makes it simple and easy

The property was very nice and clean and staff was very helpful. The problem we had was the cloying floral scent in the room. We checked out after 45 minutes. It flared up my wife’s asthma and allergies as well as my allergies. We tried to air out the room but could not reduce the scent. We requested another room but were told all rooms had that scent. If you don’t have allergies, it is a nice place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very clean and comfortable. They offered a free shuttle to and from the airport. They also let us check in early as we had to get to the Seattle Mariners baseball game the same day we arrived. Instead of them holding our luggage, they offered us a room at 10 a.m.! Great overall experience!

We booked a room with complimentary breakfast and the hotel would not honor it. They were short staffed, no omelette station open and not one clean table. I ate maybe $5 worth of food, my husband ate. The bill was $45. Won’t be back-

Great place to stay!

When I flew home on Sunday, shuttle driver came back at 6am, took a break. Front desk had to order me a Lyft. When your shuttle starts at 5am, very disappointing. Room was clean, quiet,& peaceful.

Pricey for the area but overall a good hotel.

Staff seemed ‘inconvenienced’ by anything related to the use of the airport shuttle. Booked this hotel for the use of the free airport shuttle in order to not have to pay extra days for rental car usage. Hotels.com has this shuttle mentioned as ‘at scheduled times (5am to 8:30pm) and on request’. Before making this booking we confirmed with Marriott call center to confirm if the shuttle could be requested for a red-eye flight before 5am. We were informed that this was possible, however once at the hotel we were told that this was not possible and to just take an Uber. Additionally, staff were not accommodating or forthcoming about the pickup scheduling at the airport when they were asked about how to get the shuttle back to the airport. They did not indicate a need to be placed on a pick up list, so when returning a rental car we had to wait around for an open/available shuttle despite having asked staff directly how the shuttle service worked.

Hate the shower, way to small, and no where to hold a leg up to wash thoroughly. Hate that breakfast isn't included. Had I noticed that during reserving, I would not have stayed. How cheap are you to not give breakfast to us that choose to stay there. Parking lot is huge, yet found a way to steal even more money from us, that chose to stay there for a $20/night parking permit. Overall I rate this stay as one of my worst. Definitely will not stay again.

Not to be confused with the Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Airport hotel, which is incredibly similarly named but 10 minutes closer to the airport. Although both hotels have a free airport shuttle,only the Courtyard by Marriot Seattle Sea-Tac Airport’s runs 24-7. The Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Area hotel’s shuttle does not service early morning or late evening flights, which is not mentioned when booking. When I expressed annoyance at having to pay $25 for an uber to the other hotel and then an additional $45 for an uber to the airport, I was met with sympathy but told that this “happens often” and that Marriott is aware of the issue and has done nothing to rectify it. I will be avoiding these properties going forward and will encourage my peers to do so as well. Two stars only for the friendly front desk receptionist.

TV in all guest rooms are at right angle to beds , extremely unSkdo love cucomfortable to look at with one or two in same bed. The rooms allow with out any complications to move all beds 90* from present location. I’m in the hospitality industry and also contractor for same length of time and have never come across thisconfiguration. Also small curvertue soffa looks nice but uncomfortable as heck on back!!

My mother and I stayed here for 3 days and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly welcoming and very professional. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The mall is a 10 min drive and there’s tons of restaurants around!!! You have many many options of where to eat! We will be staying here again.

I showed up exhusted at the wrong Courtyard at 3 in the morning. The woman running the front desk called the other Courtyard, cancelled my already paid for room, and set me up with a very nice room right there. From there, I took the shuttle to the airport in plenty of time to catch my flight. Excellect service when I needed it the most.

I loved the layout, location, and design of this property. We've stayed here twice in the last 3 weeks. The employees/staff are incredible at what they do. The customer service is phenomenal- friendly, helpful, thoughtful. The shuttle service is nice, though for Seattle being an international airport, it would be nice if they offered shuttle service (prebooked) for early flights, we had a flight leaving at 5am and had to rely on Uber. The pool and gym are well maintained and clean. The only reason this place gets 4/5 stars is because of the breakfast situation. We did pay for breakfast the first time we stayed and the food options are great. But, for the price of breakfast you'd expect better coffee. I would say it's no different than most hotel lobby/gas station coffee. This hotel is unique in the fact that it offers a small Starbucks variety at the bar in the lobby for a fee. I think it would make the breakfast worth the price if you were able to order something simple: like a latte, Americano, and cappuccino from that station at the bar (included in your $20+ breakfast cost). At least that would've been enough for me to have purchased breakfast again during the second stay. That or lower the breakfast fee to $13-$15 per person. Overall a great sleep and room experience. & I can't say enough about the front desk staff!

Our flight was canceled and so we were stuck in Seattle at 6 AM. for 24 hours. The desk clerk at this hotel checked us in within an hour and we had a room for our family which included a grandma two young children and a mother.

The only problem I had was, I booked this hotel for the included shuttle service and the shuttle doesn't run 24hrs. I had to take an uber to the hotel and there are two Marriott courtyards at the airport so I had to take a second uber because the other Courtyard, which has 24hr shuttle service, would not take me to my hotel.

I developed a severe infection and the entire staff of the hotel went above and beyond. I was hospitalized for several days and everyone took care of my wife while I was in there.

Clean and quite hotel.

There is no shuttle after 8:30pm. I booked this hotel for the shuttle. Hotels. Com said there was shuttle available but not after 8:00pm. Very disappointed.

Would never stay here again. In addition to a train going by the room all night - The heater blew - what I can only imagine - is air full of unidentified particulate matter that made both my partner and I have a dry cough and itchy eyes almost immediately. Charging $15 for parking in the middle of nowhere and 20 minutes from the actual airport is ridiculous. In the morning, coffee was unavailable. The only highlight was the desk staff who were awesome. Hotel is basically a motel six with some updated furniture.

After dark there was security walking the parking lot checking things out our room was comfortable, staff was friendly i did not give a 5 stars for cleanliness because there were a few small things that were missed, but I would definetly stay again

They do not clean the rooms well, there was a sock left behind and the floor wasn't vacuumed. The tub didn't drain, had to stop showers midway through to let the water drain. The Wi-Fi didn't work well at all.

My only problem was they charged me both days for parking even though I spent one night

We recently had a storm that knocked out power, phone and internet. When I was able to get into a cell service area I called the hotel to cancel. It was after the check in day for the first day, but I was hoping to get refunded for the second day of our trip. They were unwilling to make any concessions, which seemed like very poor customer service. We were unable to use our reservation, so I can’t speak to the property. I do prefer to stay at hotels that have decent customer service, so I would not book here again.

After a crappy end to our flight trying to get back home, and the Seattle airport customer service being trash, we had to pay for another night at a hotel we were unprepared for. Once there the staff we had at around 9pm especially the lovely lady at the front desk made us forget the troubles we had and made us feel welcomed. We ended up taking a shower and getting on our flight the next morning at 8am feeling refreshed. Paying for the breakfast during the booking process was nice because the next morning it forced us to stop and eat before our trip making the experience more enjoyable. I wish I could remember the young girls name but she was truly amazing and a light when we were going through a hard time. I truly want to thank her and I hope the staff promotes her or at least recognizes that she is amazing at her job and went above and beyond.

It was in close proximity to the airport so that was a bonus. The only down side was our arrival at 8:10 p.m. And then learning their restaurant was closed.
