I thought the property and staff was great. I just wish my room could have had fresh towels, cups and coffee during my 5 day stay. Otherwise it was a great experience and I would stay there again.

The only positive thing I can say is that this placd was newly renovated and clean. This hotel also engages in price gouging at busy times. Over $300 for a 2-star hotel is insane and I didn’t realize until after we already checked in that prices had gone down significantly after we booked. The hotel is very noisy—the walls/doors must be made out of paper. I got to listen to every word of conversation from multiple rooms as loud as if they were in the room right next to my ear, could hear people using the toilet and showering, and heard the constant chiming of the elevator despite being not near it. And the worst of all, at 6:45 in the morning got awoken by someone violently vomiting and coughing for 15 minutes straight when I really needed to be sleeping. Only book if you are noise tolerant. I also offered this feedback to the hotel when checking out and they didn’t respond.

Breakfast buffet was great. Had fresh waffles. Staff was amazingly sweet, kind, & helpful. Rooms were clean. Parking is a little sparse, but they are able to accommodate a few spots in the next door lot. Overall, great.

Breakfast good, staff great, fairly new building, building not made of high quility materals, desk and cabinets cheap but still in goodshape. No carpeted floors reminded me of Motel 6 quality. I do not use Motel 6 quality motels.

Staff were helpful, including when I needed something printed out at the last minute before leaving for a flight! Super close to UIUC and surrounding towns. Nearby Maple & Yolk was incredible for brunch. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this hotel to family when they come to visit.

I am a 20-year-old solo traveler, and this room provided everything I needed for the night. It was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very kind.

We stayed for one night, it was close to the hospital for us. I was very impressed by how well everything was. Could not have been more comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

The staff were the rudest people I have ever met. They would constantly interrupt me. I spent over 8 hours one way to visit this university, and my trip was completely ruined by the rude staff here. They aggressively told me that I have checked out late when I was almost certain I had another day in my reservation at the time. I wished only to talk over complications with my reservation, but they were aggressive and claimed that I paid for 2 nights but actually only will receive one. They demanded I leave without talking to them about extending my stay.They took an extra night's worth of money and forced me to leave the morning after taking an 8 hour journey to get there. They ruined my trip and the hotel currently refuses to discuss any of this and claim no wrongdoing whatsoever. I calming called to discuss this situation and the front desk hung up almost immediately.

The a/c -heat system did work but not well. Room 120#. The bathroom had too much hair on the floor. The door you could see light around it which meant you could hear everything in the hallway.

The room was clean and neat. The first floor was updated nicely. I requested a room in a quieter part of the hotel but they put me right next door to the noisy workout room. You could hear the treadmill through the thin walls. There was also loud base music blaring through the thin walls about 11:45 pm. The parking lot is very small and was completely full. The front desk staff was very nice. I did not eat breakfast. The coffee was excellent.

Such a nice surprise since we had stayed at Wyndham in Peoria and it was the atrocious. Would definitely not recommend Peoria Wynham. Champaign Wynham was excellent.

Cheapskates of management to always turn off the juice machine which also controls/turns on/off the filtered water. So if you want water any other time besides breakfast hours, just open the juice machine, turn it On to get water.

Noisy! Woke at 3AM just from neighbors being so loud. It was really that the doors are so thin and a big enough gap in the door we could see out to the hallway. Not noise proof at all! Front desk responded promptly for me to quiet the neighbors though.

It was bit hard to sleep at night as our room was very hot, even without the heater being on. There was also a creek sound that happened whenever people upstairs walked around. This didn’t bother us until 2am and we couldn’t sleep that well. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Paid nearly $250 to stay at this fleabag motel for a single night due to Homecoming. Just don't do it. Stay in another state if you have to. Literally nothing nice to say.

The hotel is nice and quite new, in terms of construction, and the rooms are spacious. It is easily accessible from the highway and the main streets closeby. Although it was sold out due to a football game, it was very quiet. We could not hear any sounds from our room, which was surprising considering all the people were there. The breakfast is average in terms of selection. The swimming pool is indoor (to the contrary of what I read on the hotel website, which states “outdoor”) and is very nice, with pretty warm water. The reason that reduced my enthusiasm for our stay is that there was NO room service. I redid the bed by myself for both days we stayed there, and got some clean towels to replace the used ones, since none came to do the room, although I asked twice. They said they were short staffed, but at least they should tell the customers upfront not to expect any room service. Eventually for staying only two nights, it was not a big deal, but for a longer stay it would have been different.

The room was very clean and nice. A little small for a family of 4 with young children. The breakfast has no hot offerings. It is a couple of fruit choices and many packages items.

The walls between the units are so thin. Didn't get much sleep as the unit next to us was making so much noise at 3 in the morning and the unit above us was stomping all night. The breakfast did not have any warm food. It was packaged Twinkies, chocolate muffins etc. they did have a juice and coffee dispenser. If you ever choose add on for early check in, I never got a call or an email that it was approved. I had to call and find out if we can check in early. I always check for bed bugs so we always lift the mattress to check. There was potatoes chip crumbs under the mattresses. Overall I rate this place a 2. It wasn't worth the 290 bucks I paid for.

I was in a remodeled room, which was nice however, the shower had either a lot of dirt or dried spackle all over the base of it. Also, the continental breakfast that they advertise is just prepackaged vending machine food on the counter with no real food such as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal. This is in contrast to many other hotels in the same area and market. They had paper plates and bowls, but no cereal or oatmeal and I went over to the concierge to ask, and in his limited English, he replied it was just for the packaged muffin. They should up their game when it comes to amenities such as this as the cleanliness of the bathroom. For the price that I paid for this hotel, it should’ve offered a nicer breakfast compared to the other hotels and more hygienic bathroom.

An incredible value. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Shower and magnetic door excellent. Love the Dove soap bars. Parking is free, ample, well lit. Staff is very friendly. Yes they have some renovation going on but there's no dust or noise. The elevator down button was temporarily out of service but so what -- just press the up button and then choose the floor. It works fine.

We could not get the shower to work, but everything was great otherwise.

The hotel was still under construction so workers were around and the pool was not available. The staff was friendly. We did have a bad storm pass through and there was a safety alarm going off for quite a while, which was annoying but nothing to do about it. We also noticed the outlet between the beds didn’t work so we couldn’t charge our phones. Inconvienent, but it was too late in the evening to have someone come to our room to fix. The front desk apologized and also ran us up a toothbrush for my daughter, who forgot to pack hers.

Site was under renovation and only room available were on 2nd floor, pool was closed, ac didn’t work in first room we were given, second room ac worked but shower had almost no pressure and never got more than lukewarm and cleaning lady knocked once then came right in, overall probably worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The one bright spot was a very nice young lady that worked the desk late at night and clearly felt bad not being able to help resolve any issues.

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations so some amenities are not available like the workout room or the pool. I thought the room was quite nice. I had trouble figuring out the climate control and the fan was noisy. The biggest concern was the elevator. It sounded like it was going to break down every time we used it. The recent updates were very nice and for a less expensive option, I would still recommend it. No coffee in the room.

Good off-interstate location. Motel in transition from one chain to another, but that may keep prices lower for a bit. 3rd floor was ready for prime time. Decor style was a bit minimalistic - higher-end Motel 6 style, no carpet. Renovation was new and things were spic-and-span. Room just felt a bit cold and formal. Fine if motel location and up-to-date, tidy, basic rooms are your main thing.

The room itself was OK but when reviewing the room, there was dried paint dots in my shower and bathroom floor. When checking out, the elevator was out of order so I had to take the stairs from the third floor. I was not impressed.

Pool was not open and waffle machine was not working. I had to plug up the lamp a d the usb to charge phone was not working. The room was comfortable.

Please put out a water container that use to be there again, had to ask the staff to turn the water in the dispenser on because I was not going to buy a bottle of water. It was under construction so hard to judge given that many things were not finished. Breakfast was very limited to packaged food, no microwave, no ice machines, etc. The price was very high for what we had but might be good once it's finished. I would recommend they give 4 pillows per bed instead of only three.

New renovation was great. Tile mortar in the shower base should be scrubbed clean. Room next door, could hear entire conversations and TV through the walls.

Vinyl floors make the room feel cold

TV did not work, half the outlets did not work, blow dryer was hanging off wall with parts shaking in it. Walls were dirty and lamp shades were all broken. Asked about the TV multiple times still no signal. Breakfast was juice, coffee, Twinkie's, and HoHos. Building was under a ton of construction.

I didnt stay at the hotel because when i arrived i was told i need to pay a deposit so i told them to cancel the reservation but they still charged my card i had messaged hotels.com for a refund but i should not have been charged when the option was pay at property

Very disappointed with the stay here. They said they had a pool and hot tub, both were closed for an extended time and they have not updated their records. Also, they said they serve breakfast - it was packaged tiny muffins or granola bars! I also had a lot of pubic hair in my shower drain and there was a cockroach on my bed when I was leaving.

No power to the room or hot water , demanded my refund.

It was a nice hotel i was just mad the pool was down it was my daughter 16th birthday they wanted to swim. I wasnt aware it was down til almost check in time it was to pate to find another hotel... but they had fun still!

It was being redone, the pool didn't work, the bed was hard and the lack of pillows was stupid , the were so old and flat , they never should have been used on the bed. My husband and I made 1 pillow with the 4 small very flat ones and it was still pathetic. The air conditioner was very loud we couldn't turn it on. Not to mention the nasty green color in the bathroom and the vent that was so dirty it was gross. No blow dryer , lack of towels and the TV was not adjust right and you had a small picture and it cut half the picture off. We couldnt get it to adjust. I wish I had gotten pictures...

When you see young folks investing in the community support them. That is the case with this hotel. They are in the middle of a quite extensive renovation. That will mean that not everything is perfect and not all amenities are available yet however because the folks running the hotel are kind and hard working they will do right by you. If you need a cheap and safe place to stay this will do just fine.

I would be cautious of staying here. The staff was very kind and the location of the hotel was convenient and safe. However, the room was clearly not cleaned before our arrival. The bed had clean sheets and no bugs which is why they got a 2 rating and not a 1. But there were spills all over the room from previous guests that were still sticky and used bottles of shampoo in the bathroom, all indicating that perhaps a change of the bed sheets is the only cleaning they did between guests. They are still going through remodeling, so be prepared for that if you stay here. Although, the updated rooms are a little deceiving online. Our room was still very dated, with the exception of the one wall they show in pictures. Unfortunately, I will avoid this hotel in the future and would not recommend other stay here either.

Not too bad but not as clean. Everyone here was super nice and helpful though.

They gouged the prices $300 for the weekend because of the college game. The property has a lot of nerve to charge this amount of money for the type of room they have. It is a bare bones room with no amenities. The TV did not work on arrival, they had to come up and fix it. The fuses kept blowing (we only had the tv on so it must be connected to other rooms?) and we were without lights in the bathroom and sink/vanity area all night and morning. The key cards did not work for the outside doors so you had to park in the back because there only a few spots up front and walk around the entire building to get back into the building at the front. It is at best a $65 a night room. They gouge the families visiting the college. Beware!

A great deal of construction was going on. When I needed something from the front desk, they were attentive. The facility was a little bit compromise during my stay.

Consider this place as your absolute last resort. This place is not a hotel, but a motel. I’m so disappointed and feel absolutely cheated for what I paid. I wish I could post the pictures I took so you can see with your own eyes.

The pool was closed. The front desk had plywood panels for sides. Breakfast fare was awful coffee and two prepackaged snacks. Only tea available was green tea. Our first morning we were greeted by a sloppy wet floor in the entire eating and check in areas - they were mopping during “breakfast” hours. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful, but that was the only good thing I can say. The rating on Hotels.com was very misleading. I would never stay there again.

Room furnishings in poor worn condition, uncarpeted floors needed swept. Multiple electrical outlets were loose in the wall. No "Do Not Disturb/Service Room" sign available for room. No maid service was provided. Loud late-night activity on second floor above room not addressed by hotel staff.

I was very disappointed when I arrived. It was NOT clean. The furniture was in bad condition. The sheet had a stain the walls were dirty and it smelled. I had to ask for a floor mat for the shower. Towels were not in good condition. Shower had mold on the frame. I know it was more economical but to be honest it can be a simple place but clean.

Door to room completely damaged in 2 places from crowbar. Photos are like lipstick on a pig. Honestly this hotel room cost 155$ after taxes. I believe this room was a $60 room, (max!). Crazy!

Property is a former Econo lodge that they have not finished updating. The bed was very uncomfortable. The fan on the air conditioner did not work well. the furniture in the room looked beat up. They had painted and put new flooring in the common areas and some of the rooms.

I liked nothing and it wasn’t any good at this property not even the coffee it was watered down and nasty

Everything was nice except the pool was out of service
