Rooms were very clean and comfortable

The light in the fitness center would not go on. We told the front desk 2 times. My husband used his flashlight when he went to work out. The breakfast omelettes were burned

Property was in good condition and rooms were clean. Breakfast options were great! Even included gluten free options for us! The area around the hotel didn't offer much but it was conveniently located off the interstate. Staff recommended a great gluten free restaurant nearby! Good restaurants and shopping within close driving distance.

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Coffee was available 24 hours/day. The indoor pool was large. It was right off the interstate, which made it super convenient for travelling to and from events going on in the area. We usually stay at Marriot or Hilton but there were no available rooms due to U of IL graduation. So glad we didn't miss this opportunity to try the Holiday Inn.

This hotel was exactly what we needed on our trek back home after a hard trip. It was clean & comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants within a couple of miles and the breakfast was pretty good.

Housekeeping does an excellent job. I’ve stayed here many times and the sheets are always crispy clean and no dirt or hair on sinks, toilet, tub. I wish all hotels were this clean. Front desk staff is consistently nice and helpful/ the same guy is always there for all my stays over the years so there is not a lot of turnover at this hotel and staff is dedicated.

We didn't use the pool or the hot tub. We were only there one night. The people in the room next to us were a little noisy at first with you kids but they quieted down quickly. Otherwise it was quiet all night. Very happy. Would stay again.

Clean rooms and nice bed and pillows. The walls are really thin and a bunch of grown men were running up and down the hallways and being super loud (no fault of the hotel) but other than that it’s a really nice hotel

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. So clean. Breakfast is wonderful and the breakfast area is spotless. Love the new coffee machines. Very quiet and bed and pillows very comfortable!!

Perfect location close to interstate.

Room was clean and front staff and housekeeping staff was friendly, professional, and competent. Enjoyed stay. My only concern was that I am 5 feet 1 inch and the bed was so high it was very difficult for me to get into bed. Mt partner who is 6 feet 1 inch had no problem. Will recommend to friends and family.

Everything about this property, from cleanliness, to comfy beds, to staff, was excellent! We had the cleanest couch I’ve seen in a hotel rm & the pack of sheets/blankets had 2 pillows & they gave an extra with no qualms for our kids to sleep with.

The spacious/larger than normal hotel room was nice (more than 1.5 feet between wall and bed).

For those seeking a convenient, clean place to stay with pool and hot tub, I would say this is the has the heat of everything for a reasonable price. Everything is very tidy, staff is attentive and kind, and the breakfast and coffee are excellent. Thanks yet again for a wonderful stay!

The noise of and kids running and screaming in the halls was terrible. Also the room above us had kids running and jumping. We talked the employee at the desk and they said it wasn’t quiet hours until 10. It was still happening at 11. My family will never stay there again.

The one complaint and we did not report it was staying in an adjoined room without knowing your adjoined neighbors. When they talked it was as if we were in the same room, very loud. But wasnt late at night so we let it fly.

There was some kind of activity in the room across the hall that caused the smoke alarms to go off in that room at three in the morning. The fire department had to come and eventually evict the people that were staying in that room. The alarm continued until almost 7 in the morning. We got absolutely no sleep. There was no offer by management to move us to another room or to provide a refund for the miserable night. Coming from a family who has been in the hospitality industry for over 100 years, that is inexcusable.

I like things very quiet, and have found that the rooms are mostly quiet (although the first few nights there were these two girls making quite a bit of noise until like 3 am). The place is pretty conveniently located for getting around town. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times now. I know what I'm getting, it's an ok deal, and I've not experienced any big hassle. I'll take it.

AC didn’t work

The hotel was clean ans comfortable. The poop and hot tub were enjoyable until other guest were drinking and allowing their childen to rough house in the hot tub.

Our stay was good. Room was clean and staff was friendly. When we went to shower in the morning the shower was awful. The area around the drain was all chipped away and there were yellow stains on the walls. Spoke with the person at the desk the next morning and she said oh there had been maintenance done on the shower recently. The hotel didn’t seem full that night. Felt we could have been assigned a different room.

This was our 1st time at this hotel 🏨 The check in process was easy and quick!! Our rooms were clean and I was surprised that a refrigerator and microwave was in our rooms! The continental breakfast was so good… we only expected the basics but they had hot food as well… we also enjoyed the conversation we had with the the woman who manages the kitchen- she was very pleasant. So overall our visit was great and yes we will be back
