My daughter had a severe allergic reaction at lunch and was heavily drugged and nauseated. I went in at 3:30pm asking if we could get in early so she could lay down while we watched her. They said no since checkin was at 4pm but had me do the paperwork ahead of time so we could get her in immediately. I showed up a few minutes before 4pm and they were checking in others and handing out room keys (including another large family probably in the same 2 bedroom suite). When I got up there they told me the room was not ready on time but couldn't give us an estimate (not even to the closest hour!). I asked if they would call me when ready, and he snarky replied he didn't have my phone number (he had me enter it on the earlier paperwork). Half an hour later my daughter had to come in and lay down on the foyer couch to get out of the hot car and at 40 minutes when he still wouldn't give me an estimate I cancelled so we could go elsewhere. As we're leaving, he offered us cold water. No offer for her to come in and wait out of the heat, no offer for refreshments as we waited, no offer for letting us know when it was ready (I had to ask for that), no updates, no apologies, no offer for discounts, etc... He had only offered to move us to separate (more expensive) rooms where we couldn't keep an eye on her.

The room was good for the most part, big vent overhead in vanity area was filthy. Had new carpeting in hallway leading to our room. There was a sign in the elevator that said they were in process of renovating. I think it’s work in progress!

The location and the staff. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. DoorDash service did not take long. 1. Why charge for parking? 2. Pet fee is exorbitant. 3. Our room was near the basketball court and the thump thump of basketball even at night disrupted sleep.

The staff was outstanding: friendly, welcoming, and attentive from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and everything well organized and fresh. Overall, the accommodations, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere made this a wonderful stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Couldn’t stay there because the power was out and they couldn’t let us stay There was not any resolution because they had no internet…. We were very much in a scrabble for lodging and there was no help for a resolution.

Hallways rank of cigarettes. Bathtub was so slick that if you tried to shower, you best be ready to bleed cause you will fall. I wont be back.

Under a remodel but the common areas in the buildings are disgusting. The hallways stink, the carpet is filthy and there is visible water damage on the walls.

Suite was spacious and bed super comfortable. Liked being able to walk to trail along the river.

My stay met my expectations and was overall enjoyable. The location was extremely convenient for my needs, as I needed to be close to downtown Vancouver. I did experience one issue—the stovetop in my suite did not work, so I wasn’t able to cook as planned. Because I was in town for work and had a busy schedule, I didn’t have time to address this with management during my stay.
- 3/5
Room was nice, however, they are remodeling the hotel and there are many things not working, including the elevator in building 2 and also the hot tub. Also, the hallways and common areas in the back buildings are dingy and dirty while they remodel. I paid $160 a night and overall expected a nice hotel from Hilton, but got a mixture of good and bad.
- 3/5
The bathroom door handle was not functioning properly and they do not offer nightly replacing of towels . We picked up towels at front desk .
- 5/5
Overall great experience
- 4/5
unfortunately the property is undergoing renovations. Our room was next door to several rooms being renovated. Our room appeared to be renovated recently but the floors and bathroom sink area were dirty with construction debris still on the floor and in the sink. There were splashes on the mirror and carpet could use a vacuum. The hallway and elevator were filthy. They could at least vacuum daily but it didn't appear to have been cleaned in week or two.
- 5/5
This hotel is pet friendly. The staff is fantastic in all areas. Very accommodating making sure that all your needs are met. The pool, hot tub and bbq area is a nice feature as well. Over all 10 put of 10.
- 4/5
When we arrived there were several issues with the room biggest being the stand up shower in one of the bathrooms had mold growing in the caulking and they did not have a security latch on the door. The facilities guy was great and came in as soon as he could stripped and recaulked the shower and found a latch. Both rooms we were in had flies which was super annoying and they need to go into each room do a deep clean and basic maintenance but besides that they were clean enough, location SPECTACULAR, good breakfast and just enough of a variety to make long stays worth it.

The worst, rundown, disjointed Homewood Suites I have ever seen. This is nothing like the one in Lynnwood, WA or any of the others that were built in the last decade. Hotels.com has new pictures and it states that this hotel was remodeld in May of 2025. BUYER BEWARE THEY HAVE NOT FINISHED REMODELING ALL BUILDINGS! Upon check-in since I booked 3rd party and not through Hilton Honors I was told to go to building 2. Upon getting back in my vehicle and finding the building my eyes were assaulted by a giant remodeling dumpster and white fridges taking up parking. It got worse from there, from crumbling walls to filthy carpet covered in plastic the room I was assigned to as well as this building should be a biohazard think 1990s Red Lion hotel room. And they were trying to charge over $300 for this abomination of a room. I called to tell them about the site and the pics alledging that the remodel was complete in May 2025 and this was not acceptable. I was moved to a remodeled room that while it didn't make my skin crawl like the unremodeled building 2 it was not up to Homewood Suite or Hilton standards tiny old bathroom with missing tiles, rough entry door you name it.

If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it. Great location to Portland, Vancouver, and the waterfront. Excellent staff, breakfast, room and pool. We enjoyed Breakfast abd usevof the BBQ. Must stay! Rooms were nice and near by restaurants , coffe shops and waterfront were all in walking distance.
- 3/5
Not a bad place but my room was super close to a basketball hoop which was in use early in the a.am and also later that nite..
- 3/5
I loved the location, buffet and divided living room. I didn't know about $10 parking and the extra $45 fee for incidental that were going to be charged. They will reimburse. But not the parking. I hate surprises.
- 4/5
We chose this hotel because of the check in time and the updated look in the pictures. I went to check in at 3 and she said the maids were behind and it isn't ready yet and she didn't know when it would be. I gave my cell so she can call when it was ready since we had a dog, we didn't want to sit in the lobby. After an hour of waiting we went back to check in, the room was ready. It was supposed to have a balcony and they said there weren't any available, another reason I chose this hotel. I never got a phone call saying my room was ready. The room was spacious, but needed updating. The furniture was old and not that clean. Pretty dissapointed.
- 1/5
I can not remember the last time I stayed in a room that felt this dirty. I was afraid to even sit on the couch. Would never stay here again. The front desk service however was wonderful and very personable.

Very nice property close to the river . Where there is a long paved trail to walk . Vancouver is a pretty town with great restaurants. We drove to Hood River and listened to a great band at beautiful Hood Crest Winery . Tasting delicious wines was epic day !

Perfect 😊👏👏
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Next trip out we will definitely be staying there again.
- 4/5
Breakfast and happy hour provisions were good. Delayed access to room at check-in was a minor problem and one the staff worked to remedy.
- 5/5
This place is excellent. Rm 323 in building 3 was fully renovated. Great breakfast to eat each morning with menu items changed out. Vegan and gluten free items available on request. Managers reception was totally awesome on Wednesday evenings. Location is exceptional with steps from the Columbia River and walking distance from Fort Vancouver!!!!

Clean place to stay. Great staff, the place has a beautiful view of the river front as well good places to eat.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice they only cleaned the room every 2 days
- 1/5
the staffs were nice though
- 4/5
It was not worth the money. There was a blood or coffee stain on the bedspread that made me question the cleanliness. It could use a trashcan in the bathroom.

Breakfast as all! Coffee, tea & cocoa in the lobby all the time was nice to have. Overall we couldn’t have asked for anything more

Nice location. Perfect temp in pool and hot tub. Lots of space in the king suites. Nice for family.
- 5/5
We really loved our stay.
- 5/5
Great spot!
- 3/5
Average, older hotel. Needs to be updated. Beds are good though and room was decent size. Breakfast had good choices and was decent.
- 4/5
Very friendly. We got a king bed assigned by Expedia but we needed two queens. They were kind enough to move us. The room was comfortable and we liked having the sink outside the bathroom area. Breakfast was over at 9am which is too early for our taste so we missed it.
- 2/5
The lobby is separate building from the rooms and is very pretty. When arriving to the building where our king suit was it seemed decent. Across the room was a gentleman sitting with a backpack in the hallway. Didn’t think anything of it. Within the hour there was yelling from his accompanying lady. Screaming help non stop, doors slamming, phone being thrown. Needless to say the money spent was not worth having my kids feel unsafe Christmas evening. The room was clean but stains on couch and carpet, shower curtain ripped. Overall wouldn’t stay again and wish I could get my money back
- 5/5
Staff were top notch.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Charley was working the front and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was quality. I am looking forward to staying at this location once again very soon.
- 3/5
1. There are no luggage carts staged by Building 1's elevator. We had to roll one from the check-in lobby, all the way outside, in the rain, around the building to the other side; twice (coming and going). (2) The back door [Building 1 entrance] is not latched/locked. Anyone can walk in. Not very safe.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly easy to talk with
- 5/5
Love that
- 1/5
I have pictures of the stains in the floor plus couches that were afraid from animals using it as a scratch pad and I paid $460
- 3/5
Unfortunately, our room wasn't very clean this time in the bathroom and window sill. This is unusual. The hottub was broken. The rest of the experience was great despite the fact they are remodeling. Landscaping is still really nice and the staff was attentive.
- 2/5
Fold-out “bed” was a joke - paper-thin mattress over lots of wires … either provide a fold-out bed or don’t bother. Oh, and when I started to make up the bed, I found 2 fitted sheets and no flat. Called front desk for a flat sheet, please. Staff said “of course, madam” and delivered … a fitted sheet. Who’s asleep at the wheel?
- 4/5
Had a great stay, disappointed the jacuzzi was out of order.
- 4/5
Good location close to a beautiful waterfront walkway
- 3/5
Great property, except for they’ve added a $10/day parking rate that they didn’t use to have. They have always had plenty of parking, this is just a money grab. They are never on top of their breakfast refills when it’s busy. 1/2 the breakfast items are empty and you have to wait for them to be refilled. It’s a bit pricey compared to other hotels, I guess the priciness is because of the kitchen? Free breakfast?
- 4/5
The staff in the front desk is excellent
- 4/5
Friendly, Helpful Staff.
- 3/5
the property needs renovating - bedding, furniture very old stained and torn. Staff was great - they gave us a couch cover and moved us to a better room (AC was very noisy) We did not want to move to another hotel so we made it work for a week. Breakfast was quite good and staff was great. They had vegan options which I appreciated. Coffee was not good as to be expected and they only had CoffeeMate (ugh) but they did have milk at the cereal area...very nice lobby in which to eat. Staff was very responsive and apologized for state of hotel - said it was due to be upgraded next year. Nice area next to Columbia River with walking path.
- 4/5
Community atmosphere was nice. Barbecue and outdoor gas fires. Pool was cold. Aging carpets. Easy to get around. Great nearby restaurants and waterfront walk.
- 4/5
Only negatives...outer doors near our room were supposed to lock from 7pm-5am. They did not lock, appeared to be broken or waiting on replacement. Hot tub was down waoting on parts. We were there 9 nights and not fixed.
- 5/5
Stayed many times and nice place
- 2/5
Honestly I’m not sure why this is so highly rated. No elevators, apartment style hotel with no views, terrible airport noise, pool full of drunk adults on business trips, shower sounded like it would fall through the floor, random long hairs all over the room, ac only cooled the living area, fan had no speed control but you couldn’t open the bedroom windows unless you wanted to listen to the people race down the road and airplanes take off at deafening volumes, water pressure was terrible, toilet leaked all night, texture peeling from ceiling with a large crack underneath it, fuse box half pulled from the wall. Room only had 2 towels and the front desk never answered the phone to get additional service. Mismatched toiletry items looks like they went to a clearance sale or bought a box from a discount auction site. I would stay anywhere other than here again. Hot tub was broken. Can’t speak to the breakfast options but given the state of the hotel I’m assuming it was lackluster.
- 2/5
Not a waterfront property and it was never disclosed that the pool and hot tub were not usable. It was expensive and the staff was luke warm. I'd appreciated better customer service and amenities for a hotel of this price.

Thank you

The hotel was ok but...the shower was dirty, the couch squeaked and most definitely needs to be replaced. Pulled out dirty silverware from the drawer. The patio curtain were stained and had small tears in them. The staff at the front counter was nice. We were surprised this was a Hilton in this condition
- 5/5
The room was so nice, better than we expected. It was nice to have a full fridge, a sink, & counter space. The rooms were spacious & the bed very comfortable. We only spent one night but would have enjoyed a longer stay for sure.
- 5/5
Check in and out were fast and easy. Bed was c Comfortable and shower was great. It was nice having a spacious room with the kitchenette and separate sitting area.Breakfast was as expected for the typical chain hotel breakfast. They did have some extra sweet options than others have offered. We also enjoyed the Wednesday night happy hour with free food, wine and beer. Several restaurants within walking distance that were right on the river. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
- 5/5
oh my god. This place is incredible and the suites are the best. I do recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
A really nice hotel near restaurants and the pathway along the river for walking. Morning jet noise can be an issue for some people.
- 5/5
Great Accessibility suite.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Would stay there again
- 2/5
Our room was so dirty. The toilet bowl and the sink has the black plaque all around it. The bathroom is dated and The bed cover smell like the dirty sweat 😱
- 4/5
Good: inexpensive, large room, fairly clean. Not so good: $10 parking fee, hot tub out of commission, doors unsecured, mediocre continental breakfast, concierges talking about personal stuff audibly.
- 5/5
Service, property and room fantastic
- 5/5
We love staying here every time we visit Vancouver we highly recommend staying here it’s always a 10/10!!!
- 4/5
Overall, the stay was fine. The bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed. The couch was in bad condition though. Didn’t even sit on it because it was gross, with stains and wear all around the cushions. The continental breakfast was good, regular type options & they offered meatless options on request. Staff was great all around. Good, safe location.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
This was perfect for our weekend trip to Portland. Close by to our event, and dining. Also quick access to major highways when heading out to explore.
- 4/5
The front desk and the breakfast ladies are all very friendly and professional. However, the building itself can use some fixes. For example, the door to the building we stayed was broken and couldn't be closed which posed safety issues. The bathroom door in our room couldn't be closed properly either. The curtain in our room was torn. It's operated by Hilton, but doesn't live up to its name.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4/5
We were in Portland airports flight Pattern so we had a lot of planes.
- 5/5
Homewood Suites treated us very well! They accommodated us when Frontier Airlines messed up our original itinerary. The staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the included breakfast and will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
We were prepare for suites at last couple of hours before check in. They says room was not available even it was booked 1 month ago.
- 5/5
Breakfast was lovely.
- 4/5
B- fast - lobby- coffee - eating area above average
- 2/5
I canceled my reservation after they told me their seasonal pool was closed (after the hottest week in Oregon weather). That was unacceptable, along with the front desks' lackluster attitude of "oh well, too bad so sad." The whole reason I booked their hotel was for the pool. The front desk manager assured me that their website reflected the pool closure at the time I checked in, which was not helpful since I did not know prior.
- 1/5
The staff was friendly. The pool was broken the entire time and the room was never properly cleaned
- 4/5
We have stayed here before and this time was just as good a stay as we remembered.
- 5/5
Very nice motel with large rooms.
- 3/5
What I didnt like : 1. The pool was closed and no notification and we booked after the pool was closed. We chose the hotel for the pool. The river is really nearby but the girl at the front desk could have shared that, instead of saying " i dont know where you can go". We also found a pool 15 mins away but again she could have shared alternatives. 2. Cigarette butt in porch and it was dirty 3. The lounge tv had white streaks down it on every channel. 4. Only one seat on the porch 5. Breakfast was below par
- 5/5
The most notable thing about the property, however, was the staff. As it happens we needed several special accommodations, and Rayna, the desk attendant, went out of her way to handle them seamlessly, and at the same time was so sensitive to the difficult situation that I can hardly imagine anyone ever being kinder, more sympathetic, or more professional, all at the same time. I would happily return under better circumstances.
- 3/5
Great location but very run down. Unfortunately the pool is down and has been for months, furniture is DIRTY and needs to be covered with sheets, found dirty dishes...there is not enough staff in housekeeping to manage proper turnovers. The front desk is very friendly and professional
- 4/5
Great area and easy access to a great river trail. Suite was showing its age and felt a bit dirty. Bath had not been cleaned and floors were quite dirty. Kitchenette was missing soap, dish towels and a drain stopper for the sink so could not do dishes. Felt it needed a good deep clean and an inventory check to ensure the amenities were usable in the suite.
- 5/5
My family and I enjoyed our stay there and was very impressed! We came from Omaha Nebraska. Thanks so much for making our stay memorable even in our time of grief.
