    Not the same Conrad. Probably the worst of all Conrads I have stayed at. And we gave stayed here numerous times. The front desk was not welcoming, took our credit card and gave our room keys. Period. No instruction on the elevator, no information given. The room was nice and clean. The toilet cubicle smelled like it was not cleaned. The restaurant had good food, the night server was not so warm, the morning crew was better. Cannot give us even an hour of late check out. So we practically paid for 12hrs.

    I liked how the room was designed to store stuff. The shower pressure was excellent but the shower door was not sealed on the bottom, the wasted shower water bled through outside of the shower booth. bad design I guess.... it can flood the floor easily if you do not have a bath rug set right next to it. I even had to move the shower head away from the door... but this didn't help much...

That the check in was on the third floor. No bell person was around so we had to take our luggage up to the lobby. It was a little confusing. We had to take our luggage to the room after check in.

    On our first day, staff asked if we wanted assistance with our luggage, but no one ever came. That set the tone early on. While the staff at the Sakura Club were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, the same could not be said for the front desk. At one point, we asked for assistance opening the outdoor patio doors. The front desk associate was flat and unhelpful, offering no reassurance or follow-up. We waited approximately 15 minutes for someone to open the patio, unsure if help was even coming. If it were not for the Sakura Club benefit, I would not return. For the price point and reputation of this hotel, the service did not consistently meet expectations.

    While the property itself was nice, as always, I’ll be it very busy. They lost all trace of my laundry and have yet to follow up as they said they would. I provided the front desk staff with my business card, and they said they would follow up with me or my assistant. That has yet to happen. Quite frankly, this is very unprofessional.

    I had a wonderful one night stay. Upon check in my husband mentioned it was my birthday. When we returned from our evening I came into balloon bouquet in my room. It was such a lovely surprise. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Ordered some coffee and pastries for breakfast and they arrived so quickly. Never spent much time in lobby just passed through so I am sure we missed some things. We were just passing through. Overall great stay!

    My husband and I did a staycation for our 1 year wedding anniversary and chose to stay at the Conrad. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and informed us of all the available dining options and local attractions. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel and then visited the rooftop bar. The views from the hotel are amazing. When we entered our room there was a bottle champagne on ice for us for our anniversary. The hotel room was nice, clean and well stocked. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended not even leaving the hotel to explore the city.

    Professional top notch service!! Security and front door is fully aware of the realities of the world as it relates to SAFETY! A key card is required to access room floors.     My only issue was the last day of cleaning. Floor mats for the bathroom were not replaced. Hand towels were not provided. Dirty spoons and cups were placed at the in room coffee spot. Liquor and drinks not replenished. Not sure where things broke down. Otherwise an amazing and pleasant stay. I still give the Conrad a 5/5 stars and would recommend.

    Wasn’t really great this time around. I felt like I got an “Expedia room.” I got a suite but it was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty with grime, the toilet was dirty upon arrival, they didn’t have the room ready until about 2 hrs after check in time, the valet was horrible with my car, the floor in the room was dirty, the sofa had food under the cushions, the window had a huge bird poop stain on it, the whole areas behind the nightstand of the bed had dust..it was just not great. I hated it…. The whole experience messed up my birthday and plans.

    This hotel is truly exceptional, with unparalleled attention to detail and care. From the warm welcome by the valet team when you first arrive to the seamless checkout process, every aspect is meticulously attended to. The cleaning crew is phenomenal, providing a level of cleanliness I’ve never encountered before, even as a frequent traveler. Our Christmas stay was made magical by Alejandra, who delighted my child with a mini Christmas tree and stockings delivered by the hotel on Christmas Eve. The food was superb, and the entire experience was outstanding. The manager at this location deserves special recognition because the entire team was simply remarkable.

    The hotel was beautiful. Loved that it is LEED Gold certified. It was in a great location with amazing shopping nearby. The restaurant on the 3rd floor was great. The entire staff was AMAZING. Only thing that we weren't happy with was the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival we noticed hair from previous guests on the sofa, the toilet seat wasn't clean and there was hair on the shower wall too. The slippers in the closet looked worn so we couldn't use them. The towels didn't smell that great either. Overall our stay was good..

    Excellent customer service from the moment we stepped on the property. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. I’m very particular about cleanliness of an hotel and room, not just beautiful decor. The room and common areas were gorgeous, clean and exceeded my expectations and standards. Key card required to access room floors for added safety and security. Walkable to many restaurants, shops, and entertainment. This is my DC home away from home whenever I visit.     Details: Reserved a room as a birthday gift to myself. Based on the rate, I expected higher quality than I’ve experienced at other hotels. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered my room, my expectations were shattered. I immediately noticed the worn, stained carpet. Moving over to the couch, I saw that it was splattered with white spots of unknown origin. I also saw that the wooden chair was visibly worn. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and contained fresh towels and supplies. However, the water in the shower never rose above lukewarm in the two times I used it (early evening and early morning). Lastly, the lighting system didn’t seem to work properly. The light buttons were labeled, but some didn’t actually work to control the areas referenced on their label. I ended up using a flashlight to avoid waking my family up due to the lack of light control. Positives: The staff were WONDERFUL, and the common areas of the building were immaculate. The lobby and elevator areas even had a wonderful, fresh scent.

    It was my husband’s birthday and I had called ahead to see if they could put some balloons in the room. It was here waiting for us along with a bottle of Prosecco! Oscar and the others at the front desk were so helpful and attentive at making sure the arrangements were made and that it was a surprise. In addition, the room was spacious modern, and comfortable for us and our teenage sons. The shower is great and large and stylish bathroom. Will definitely stay at the DC Conrad again!

    I very much disliked our stay. Upon arrival, we were told that since we booked through Expedia, that I would not receive my Hilton status (Gold - lost Diamond last month) points or benefits, i.e. free breakfast, executive lounge, upgrades, etc. Our room was terrible, hot mini fridge, shower/tub wouldn't drain, equivalent to an average Hampton hotel room. I would never stay here again.

    The room was much smaller than expected, since much of the square footage was in the large unusable entryway. Although it was a "corner" room, the curtains covered two of the five windows even when they were open blocking much of the view with a large TV blocking another window. There was nowhere to sit but the bed or a hard desk chair.

    Perfect! Upscale, peaceful and very professional staff. The room was beautiful and my slippers were by the bedside with a chocolate on my bedside table..very relaxing. Beautiful rooftop!! Would definitely visit again!!

    Super friendly staff The area gas gone downhill since i was last there in 2020. At certain hours it felt unsafe even with the high police presence.

    I liked everything. Expedia was great in everything. I would not change a thing. This was my second trip that I've booked with this company. I intend to continue. The only issue I found this time was that I wasn't offered the option to utilize Affirm if needed. This should be standard for those who qualify.

    The manager, in particular, was obnoxious and unhelpful. Instead of addressing concerns or providing assistance, their attitude only exacerbated the situation. It was disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and customer service in a supposedly upscale establishment. Adding to the frustration was the check-in process. The hotel claims that check-in is at 4, which is already a late check-in time for many hotels. However, this turned out to be even more inconvenient as I was not checked in until 6. The two-hour delay without any reasonable explanation or apology is absolutely ridiculous, especially for a hotel that markets itself as a premium destination. For those seeking a truly luxurious and welcoming stay, I would strongly advise against choosing the Conrad Washington, DC. The staff's behavior, the manager's uncooperative attitude, and the delayed check-in process do not align with the standards expected from a premium hotel. There are certainly better options available where you can get your money's worth without compromising on service quality.

    Staff was rude and unhelpful. I made this booking through Expedia with Pay Now option. But the front desk still charged me the entire room rent plux taxes plus incidentals. That maxed out my credit card. I couldnt make any further purchase with my card afterwards.

    Checked in for a day to celebrate my birthday and so glad I did! First time staying this property and it was amazing! The comfort, the ambience, the service, the friendliness of the staff was all so so great. I really felt like I had gotten my money’s worth and I can’t wait to be back for longer

    The quality of service was consistent throughout our stay, and every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. I wish we remembered everyone’s name to give them a special shoutout, but nonetheless SHOUTOUT to the valet guy, the 2 concierge men in the brown coat, the 2 young ladies that checked us in, the evening shift dinning room manager, the housekeeper, the woman that took our room service order and last but not least shoutout to Janice… she was definitely THE icing on the cake! When we checked out of the hotel, my husband decided to take some pictures of me, so we went to the hallway by the hotel meeting space and a woman (assuming from security) came and told us that we were not ALLOWED to take pictures around that area because it was intended for “vendors”… Without any hesitation we moved away and went downstairs to the lobby. Now… We have no issues with what she said to us, BUT her delivery and DEMEANOR towards us made us feel uncomfortable, as though we had done something so bad, AND that we didn’t belong to be there. She definitely left a bit of a sour taste as we were leaving, especially because every staff member was so amazing. Regardless we will surely come back!!!

    The in-room phone did not work at all, very dangerous. The turn-down service was a joke, the woman who showed up yesterday evening only gave water, refused to arrange the bed and the curtains while the woman who showed up the night before did a normal job. The light system is ridiculous.

    First time staying here and we have a great experience. The area is very busy and easy access to everything. The staff is very friendly. Parking is 70$ a night which is different from what is posted online.
