    My stay from June 4-8 was comfortable, but the billing experience was extremely disappointing. My reservation was prepaid in full through Expedia, and I provided proof of payment to hotel staff. Despite this, I received a late-night notice on June 7 that I was being charged for an additional night due to a reservation system error between Expedia and the hotel. I was assured the issue was resolved, yet I was asked to pay again at checkout and later found additional charges of $430.94 on my credit card. I am also still awaiting the release of the $300 incidental hold. While the accommodations were good, the repeated billing errors, lack of internal communication, and ongoing refund issues significantly impacted my experience.

    I was disappointed with the WiFi service. They mention enhanced WiFi for guests with destination fee, however when I tried to use it, I landed on a page asking to pay $12 per day. But somehow internet connected day1 and 2, and wouldn’t connect the 2nd night. I was on a work trip and this was very inconvenient. Staff is great and if it hadn’t been too late at night, they may have helped resolve the internet issue.

    When we returned, we reported the issue to the front desk, but did not receive a response. After waiting about 45 minutes, we called back and were told there had been a shift change and no one was aware of our complaint. The odor became even worse when we turned on the heat, as it seemed to be coming from the vent. We called again to request either a room change or for someone to address the smell. We were told it would be looked into, but after another 30 minutes with no resolution, we called back. At that point, we were exhausted and asked for a spray instead. Unfortunately, the spray did not help at all, and we ended up turning the heat off entirely. Additionally, I booked the room through Expedia, and my expected balance was $92. However, I was charged nearly $800. I now have to wait for both the deposit and the duplicate charge for the room to be refunded to my bank account, which is very inconvenient. Overall, while the stay was manageable, these issues significantly impacted our experience.

    I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are nice and helpful when we had questions. The staff at Root &Vine when we order pizza's to take back to our room. The sercurity guards in the lobby would always say hi and ask how you are doing. The room was amazing and we enjoyed the view from our room.

    Upon arrival, I did see an extremely long hair on the bed, which was offputting. I was offered $50 to spend on room service or at the restaurant downstairs. I did use it on room service but they charged my card instead of using the $50 voucher. I cannot get a hold of the hotel to get that resolved, which is extremely unfortunate. It is an extremely loud hotel and you could hear rats in the walls at night.

    Incompetent staff charged me 600 for holds by accident and does nothing to compensate. Tells me to call bank the best they can do I don’t even recall an apology honestly . 50 per day for parking 20 per day for WiFi.

    From the moment we stepped into the building the staff was welcoming. Dennis was at the front desk and was friendly with a smile on his face the entire time. We needed to have joint rooms and he went above and beyond to accommodate this request since the hotel was completely booked with conventions for the weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a great experience at the bar and the food and drinks were awesome. Upon check or Yusef made sure we used the hotel credits we had before leaving and he as also super friendly. This was a great experience and we will stay again.

    Amazing stay! Mattress was perfect, shower great water pressure. The hotel is a 7min walk from Capitol One Arena. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Valet parking was worth it! I will definitely stay again when in DC .

    YUSUF was extremely welcoming and accommodating at the front desk. He greeted me with warmth and made me feel special. RICHARD was cheerful and joyful as he assisted me with my bags. He retrieved ice and extra towels for me. He also assisted me at the end of my stay! I didn't catch the VALET'S guy's name, but he was hilarious! I will definitely return. Money well spent...

His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like true five-star guests. The way he handled the situation exemplifies outstanding leadership and customer service.     Very nice clean room. Christmas decorations in the lobby were really pretty. Starbucks in the lobby is always a great convenience. Staff was helpful with bags and check in was easy and fast. Lots of Christmas lights outside close to the hotel are wonderful and more than usual for DC. Great shopping and wonderful restaurants nearby. Ask for a room with a city view.

    What I don't understand is how is it allowed that someone can pre arrange a party in their room with approximately 50-100 people on a floor that has guest rooms who now cannot sleep due to all the noise and the people hanging out in the hallway talking loudly. That party should have been done on the lower level where the conference rooms are. And I should be credited 1 nights stay for my inconvenience not just $100. I will never stay at a Westin Hotel again and I will make sure that I tell people that it's the worst hotel I've ever stayed at

    Since my family and I planned to be in DC for the 4th of July fireworks, we wanted to make sure we could park in the Westin garage a bit ahead of our stay there. We called the hotel and were told that it was fine but that it was all valet parking. We were a little confused by that since it specifically states on the hotel website that you had the option of self parking or valet. We didn’t question it and checked into the hotel and used their valet parking as there didn’t seem to be any other option. Upon leaving we asked the staff at the front desk if there was an option to self park and they said absolutely yes. They were surprised that someone told us that valet was the only option. Other than that snafu, the hotel was nice and everyone was friendly. Would have given 5 stars if not for the parking situation.

    It was fine besides the shadiness around the final bill. I was told at check-in that my destination fee would be credited $30 /day. They reduced it to $20 in the final bill. Also, I prepaid breakfast for every day I was there, and they charged me for breakfast (again) despite acknowledging that I prepaid upon check-in. I tried to get it corrected and they never responded (multiple calls, emails, etc.). They are shady around all of the daily charges. Don’t trust that your pre-paid meals are going to be honored.

    We called before arriving to ask about the incidental fee, was told it was $150. we checked in , I got a email stating the hotel held $300. we asked and was told in person a different price. The morning of checking out the hotel ran my card again for another $300. when I received a email stating it was a zero balance. The room was nice but the cleaning wasn’t 100% we went to use the ice bag and it was filled with water. The bathroom had a half used water bottle under the sink. Also seen hairs around the toilet. Other than that it’s a very high end hotel and loved the stay, very comfortable! Front desk were pleasant as well.

    Uncomfortable bed , the TV turns off on its own every 30 minutes or so. The toilet made loud noises. Parking was very complex, expensive and a headache. We could not change the room temp below a certain temperature which wasn’t good for my health condition. No free WIFI

    BUT the rooms are small, no one came to clean our room or restock towels. The floors were gross and we really needed them swept or vacuumed. The doors are SO thin, could hear CLEARLY other guests conversations while walking to their room all hours of the nights. The beds are not that comfortable.

Checked in with George and he was great with giving me information on the amenities that can with my reservation along with recommendations on restaurants in the area. My room was very clean, smelled just as amazing as the lobby, bed was very comfortable and the products in the bathroom were very nice.     Sadly I was not happy with my stay at the Westin. We paid a premium for the room and while I understand it was busy in DC with the Cherry Blossoms and Spring Break, the experience was below par. We had to wait every single time for breakfast or dinner and I don’t think they were equipped or staffed to deal with the large number of guests. All the staff were great,

    This was an amazing place to stay with family! Everyone was super helpful. The room was wonderful. Location is great. We would definitely stay there again. This is probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at so far.

    The toilet did not work properly so I had to call engineering soon after I checked in at 10:30 PM. The guy fixed the temporarily but I spent the next 36 hours having a lift a tank can do the same thing he did to get the toilet to fill. This is not good. Additionally, the light above the bed frame, which was the main light for the room was working like a strobe light instead of being continuously on, and did not shut off until I had to unplug it from the wall. I told the front desk about this in the morning and they said they would move me that afternoon, but no one ever called to move me. So I ended up staying in that room. Service and attentiveness to detail are missing.

    This property was amazing for a weekend getaway. The restaurant was great as well. The only confusing experience I had was with parking. There was serval occasions I was not able to get out with security coming over to help because the parking ticket was showing as error. Outside of that confusion the staff was great and the area was clean.
